Is This DJ Khaled Beating The Crap Outta Somebody?

YOOOOOOOOO! DJ Khaled is known as a disc jockey, album maker and even a funny guy. But, something seems to have happened him where he may be kicking like Holly Holm did Ronda Rousey! Nobody really seems to know what this his, but there may be a lawsuit coming if there’s somebody willing to step up in that manner. This was allegedly somebody affiliated with the rapper “Stitches” from Miami.

Ronda Rousey Hides Face After Brutal Beating, Floyd Mayweather Encourages

Ronda Rousey is not as talkative after losing her UFC title to Holly Holm. Over the weekend, Rousey was decimated in the second round, finished with a brutal kick to the face. She reportedly has already undergone plastic surgery for her injuries. In an airport, she shunned the media, completely covering her face.

Meanwhile, one-time arch nemesis Floyd Mayweather offered her and encouraging word. AND, offered to help her improve her boxing skills.

BT: Champ, I hear you’re about to get on your plane. Is there anything else you want to say before you have to go?

FM: I want Ronda Rousey to hold her head up high and don’t let this discourage you. If you need help as far as with boxing, I’m here to help you. It’s all about timing and inches. Her ground game is unbelievable. She’ll be okay. You know, but I’m waiting for the comeback of Jon Jones and the other guy that Jon Jones faced before [Daniel Cormier]. I would love to sponsor those guys. I look forward to working with a lot of MMA f!ghters as far as teaching them boxing techniques. It’s the little small things in contact sports that can take you to that next level.

Did Lil Wayne Cause High-Level Tidal Exec To Leave?

I am not sure how this could’ve happened, because Lil Wayne is such an upstanding person. But, the fact of the matter is, he was allegedly the reason a high ranking member of the Tidal team departed. Over the summer, Vania Schlogel quit. She left soon after Wayne bought in as an owner of the streaming service. None of the rumors floating around specify what Wayne could have represented to make her quit so fast. Anyway, AllHipHop talked to Vania and she seemed super confident about Tidal.

Wayne is like “whatever, whodie!”

Lamar Odom May Be Charged With Drug Possession Due To Overdose

Lamar Odom may be in some legal trouble due to overdosing on drugs at a Las Vegas brothel last month. TMZ reports that the Nye County District Attorney is considering charging Odom with cocaine possession or being under the influence of a controlled substance.

This would be the first time in the county’s history that someone faced criminal charges after overdosing.

A representative from the District Attorney’s office shut down claims that Odom was being treated unfairly because he is a celebrity.

Young Thug Claps Back At Trick Daddy By Bringing Up Old Beat Down

Photo via Young Thug’s Instagram

A lot of what Young Thug does doesn’t make sense to anyone, so we are trying to decipher one of his recent posts. Thugger has let it be known on multiple occasions that he is NOT a fan of The Breakfast Club. Young Thug wasn’t a fan of Trick Daddy’s interview with The Breakfast Club either! He took to his Twitter to tweet,

“Again #BreakfastClub IS THE DEVAaal Uma doe em like Guwoop did em if they call me doe.”

He went on to say.

“Dear Trick Daddy, Mr Trick Trick drop you old p#### ass outside a club, punked yo teeth out and is still breathing #Oldpussy freeze me.”

It seems like Young Thug wanted to remind Trick Daddy about an old beat down he received from Detroit’s own Trick Trick to let him know that he’s not threatened by him. People just won’t let Thug be himself huh?

Lil’ Wayne’s Ex-Wife & Christina Milian’s Sister Have Some Words For Each Other!

We don’t know what Lil’ Wayne does to these women, but whatever it is, he does it well. Wayne’s ex-wife Toya Wright, couldn’t resist the petty itch when she commented under a video of Christina Milian crying with the “sleeping” emoji. Christina Milian’s sister Liz Milan wasn’t too happy about this as she told Toya,

“These whack a$$ hoes always trying to come at my sister. Please tell me one thing you’ve done to become known other than popping out a baby damn near 18 years ago. This bish needs to get her mind right and focus on her many failed relationships.”

Toya clapped back saying,

“U probably Googled me and came up with all of this, but I googled you and guess what I came up with…. NOTHING!!! Now ride this wave.”

Did anyone take Christina & Lil’ Wayne’s relationship serious?

Missy Elliott Talks Musical Comeback, “WTF” Video Puppets & Modern Artists

(AllHipHop News) It has been 10 years since Missy Elliott released her last studio album The Cookbook. The rapper/singer/producer returned in a big way with the Pharrell-produced single “WTF (Where They From).” The video for the track has already collected over 12 million views on YouTube in just four days.

Missy connected with i-D for an exclusive interview. The hit maker that crafted records with Aaliyah, Timbaland, Lil Kim, Puff Daddy, Mariah Carey, Janet Jackson, Whitney Houston, Beyoncé, and many others talked about the pressure of making a comeback after a decade-long hiatus, the scene-stealing puppets in her “WTF” video, and the state of the music industry in 2015.

[ALSO READ: Pharrell Talks About Trayvon Martin Reference in Missy Elliot’s “WTF”]

On the pressure of making a comeback:

Oh the pressure was definitely more! When me and Tim put out those records [9th Inning andTriple Threat], you know, we just put them out, that’s why we never put a video out. But this time the pressure was really on because I knew I had shot a video so now it wasn’t just about, “Are they gonna like the record”. I knew that people know me for my videos and so the expectation from those who grew up on my music was high. My goodness. I swear to God, I felt like I sweated out my tracks the night before the video dropped! My weave was messed up waiting for this video to come out!

On the “WTF” video:

Once [Pharrell and I] did the record, I knew it was time to shoot a video. The puppet idea I had seen somebody do on the street. I held onto that idea for five years because I didn’t have a record that matched that idea. So I showed Pharrell the clip I had, and he said ‘You know you got to do a video for this’. Believe it or not, we have been making this video since March. The puppets themselves took two and a half, to three months to make. It was very detailed. We had people from StarTrak working on this video, so it was a lot.

On modern music:

I think the music industry, it’s a lot of great artists out there. Adele, she’s most definitely killing the right now. I understand someone like a Rihanna. She’s a superstar, I get it. Beyoncé, well she’s from our era, and she’s beyond that! What I love about Kanye is that he doesn’t fit the mold either. He does what he feels. People might look at him like, “Kanye at it again”, but I can respect the fact and I can tell when he does his music it’s not “I’m doing what’s hot right now”. That’s what I felt in the studio. So I can appreciate artists like that. People, I think they are fiending for more of that, that’s why Adele could take that rest and come back. That’s how it used to be. She’s shown people that when you’ve got talent, those solid fans will wait for you. So, yeah, it’s a lot of great stuff out there.

Russell Simmons Talks Fallout From RushCard Shutdown & Responds To Rhymefest’s Criticism

(AllHipHop News) Hip Hop mogul Russell Simmons was hit with a barrage of backlash when users of the RushCard – a prepaid debit card Simmons founded  – were unable to access their funds for weeks. The problems occurred after the company changed to a new processor.

Besides users being unable to pay their bills and the horrible p.r. from the incident, the RushCard is now being investigated by the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. Simmons did a lengthy interview with HipHopDX about the fallout from the RushCard debacle.

“It was one of the most devastating times in my adult life. I know how hard people work to get money. I know how damaging it could be if people were not able to get to their money,” said Simmons. “It’s true that we built almost a virtual bank. We built a company that people relied on for everything, from automatic bill pay to early direct deposit to transferring money to family members. We know that this was a very big thing.”

Simmons also talked about how the purpose of the RushCard was to give its mostly low-income users “dignity and access” by exposing them to the digital economic system. However during an interview with AllHipHop.com, Chicago artist Rhymefest criticized Simmons for what he sees as the Def Jam Records co-founder’s exploitation of the African-American community.

“I answer this to Rhymefest, with all respect due, a lot of people criticize what we do. We work on a very, very small margin,” stated Simmons. “Let me give you an example: The funds that we created will pay for everybody’s free usage of RushCard between now and March. Between now and February 29, there will be no fees. This cost is more than all the profit we were going to make in a year.”
