Under his Instagram picture a fan asked if he could he do a “16 shots” cover. Reese responded saying, “no they hit my truck 16 times shot 24 shots miss 23.”
Looks like Reese is either trying to make light of the situation or he’s trying to sound good af!
Reese has been arrested numerous times on possession of marijuana and possession of a firearm.
The Chicago rapper recovered pretty quickly, thankfully. Maybe that’s why he is so giddy about the situation.
A lot of people would be laying low, but Reese is active on social media and making jokes. Hmmm.
What’s even crazier is they still have not caught the guy who shot Reese in broad daylight!
The R&B singer-songwriter hails from Oakland, California, a place where the majority of urban music comprises of street rappers.
The “Between Your Thighs” artist came up alongside blood brother Raymen Justice as R&B duo Justice Brothers, but it was in 2014 when his brother was shot and murdered that he decided to pursue the music full-heartedly.
Fast forward to 2019, Rayven returns with his brand new record titled “Straight Up” featuring Bay area elites E-40 and Mozzy.
AllHipHop: Growing up in your household, were you in the streets? Away from the streets?
Rayven Justice: It was a bit of both, but I was more so trying to find my place and how I wanted my life to be. I didn’t jump into anything. I wasn’t in any gangs or nothing, I had a lot of friends that were. My brother ended up getting into some stuff. He was actually the same way: he was in it, but he was a brilliant student at the same time. He made A’s and B’s. He did great in school, he wanted to go to college.
But as far as me, I found music. When I did, I devoted myself to it. I locked in on it. I just remember becoming a loner because I was popular in high school, but I made myself a loner. I got my iPod and I’d just listen to Donell Jones, DeVante, Pretty Ricky, Pleasure P just all the guys that was doing it at the time. Absorbed their knowledge. I didn’t have a vocal coach so I’d practice singing, just listening to their music. That’s just how I really molded myself into becoming who I am as far as those guys too. A lot legends helped me out. Shouts out to all the legends for real.
AllHipHop: Talk about linking with E-40 & Mozzy on “Straight Up.”
Rayven Justice: Shout out Mozzy, shout out 40 man! We definitely came together on that joint. I had Mozzy on it first. The first record that we came together on was called “No Choice,” and it was a success. We got 11 million views on the video, the video‘s out now. Then he reached out for his second album that came out right after that, on another joint we did called “Tear Me Down.” Then after that, me and him just talked.
We came together and said “man we might as well do a project.” So then I was in Atlanta at the time, his manager reached out “yo let’s just put some stuff together, we gon’ send you these beats.” They sent me a bunch of beats, I knocked out a bunch of hooks. Sent them back. Mozzy heard ‘em, he knocked his parts out. Hey, keep ya’ll ears open! We made some gems, know that. [chuckles]
AllHipHop: Who in your opinion is the King of R&B?
Rayven Justice: Chris Brown really, he’s still in the lead with that. I don’t feel like nobody took it. It’s going to take a lot to take that crown, so salute to Chris. We’re all kings in our own right, of course. But he’s definitely the guy that’s been holding it down these last years. [laughs] Straight up.
AllHipHop: On “Madden,” you say “you never had s##t.” How is life now compared to back then?
Rayven Justice: I’m more solidified in the industry. I’ve done my 10,000 hours as far as being an artist, and now I’m familiar. That’s really a bigger thing. A lot of people are saluting me these days. It’s a lot more respect. A lot of major artists are reaching out even more now than before. I was on the radio back in those days. It’s just amazing. I’m working with people that as a kid coming up, I never thought I’d meet. It’s a dream come true. Living the dream, it’s a blessing.
AllHipHop: 3 things you need in the studio?
Rayven Justice: Some weed, something to drink. and some snacks. Some Doritos, some gummies. That’s about it, I don’t need a lot. But I’ve been in some studios where they be having cookies.
AllHipHop: Paramount?
Rayven Justice: Exactly! I love that. Come there, they gon’ make sure you good. Shout out Paramount.
AllHipHop: Is there anything else you want to let us know?
Rayven Justice: New music coming soon. New projects coming soon. Just keep ya’ll ears peeled for this new Mozzy and Ravyen Justice. I also did a joint album with Too Short, so be prepared for that.
(AllHipHop News) R. Kelly has a new charge to fight and it stems from his relationship with the late R&B singer Aaliyah.
Earlier today (December 5th), R. Kelly was hit with a superseding indictment in New York on 12 counts of racketeering for overseeing an organization the government has dubbed “The Enterprise.”
The new allegation in the new 18-page indictment starts with charging R. Kelly for helping Aaliyah to get a fake I.D., so he could marry her when she was 15-years-old, back in 1994.
Investigators in New York accuse R. Kelly’s crew of enablers helped him engage in sexual activity with girls under 18 years old.
They also lied about R. Kelly’s STD, helped the singer produce child pornography, bribed potential witnesses and committed extortion.
“The Enterprise” was headed by R. Kelly and the group obtained sensitive information about members and associates of their victims, while isolating the women and girls from friends and family to make them dependent on R. Kelly for their financial wellbeing.
(AllHipHop News) NBA Youngboy’s little brother is in big trouble in their hometown of Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
According to the police, brothers Jeffrey Tate 16, and Davaughn Tate 18 have been taken into custody for shooting and killing a student who attended Belaire High School.
The brothers have been identified as two of three suspects accused of murdering a 17-year-old named Javon Brown, who was shot and killed while walking home from school on Monday (December 2nd).
Investigators say Brown was getting off of his school bus when he became involved in a fight with a trio of males.
During the fight in the middle of a residential neighborhood, Davaughn allegedly pulled a gun and shot him.
“Gunned down in the street in a quiet residential neighborhood in broad daylight was unbelievable,” said witness Mike Meyers.
(AllHipHop News) Kanye West is reportedly taking his Sunday Service choir to play one of their biggest shows yet at New York’s Yankee Stadium.

Sources told the publication the pair have booked the venue for May 2, 2020 as part of the pastor’s “America’s Night of Hope” tour, which he takes to several cities across the U.S.
(AllHipHop News) The iconic hip-hop record label founded by music mogul Andre Harrell is set to become the focus of a new TV miniseries.
Uptown will chronicle the 1986 launch and stellar rise of “Uptown Records,” which helped to put stars like Mary J. Blige, Jodeci, Al B. Sure, Teddy Riley, Heavy D & The Boyz, and the Notorious B.I.G. on the map.
It was also where Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs got his start, famously working his way up the ranks from his initial position as an intern.
The scripted, three-part show will be executive produced by Harrell for the BET network.
“We are proud to bring the story of Uptown Records to life and celebrate the indelible imprint the label has made on the industry, transforming the sound, face, and business of hip-hop and R&B,” Scott Mills, president of BET Networks, shares in a statement.
“We look forward to partnering with music industry titan Andre Harrell and powerhouse producer Jesse Collins on the Uptown miniseries, bringing viewers premium content that reflects and celebrates Black excellence.”
Harrell adds, “I am thrilled to partner with BET Networks and Jesse Collins Entertainment to share my story, the rise of Uptown Records and successful black entrepreneurship, and the management and cultivation of some of the most iconic artists to come out of the late 80s and 90s hip hop, R&B, and soul music era.”
However, as he had predicted, officials at the country’s Prison and Probation Service have dismissed the request, citing logistical and security issues, according to local paper Svenska Dagbladet.
The rapper, real name Rakim Mayers, made headlines after he and two members of his entourage were arrested for assaulting a man following a concert in Stockholm.
They insisted they had acted in self-defense, but were all found guilty of assault and received a two-year suspended sentence. They were also ordered to pay damages to the victim.
(AllHipHop Rumors) The Game, above just about everybody, has mourned the tragic loss of one Ermias Joseph Asghedom also known as Nipsey Hussle. NIP. By the way, check the resume of AllHipHop. We go back with Nipsey many, many years and several interviews! Mad drops, son! So, we don’t know what Wack 100 is talking about, because Nipsey has been legendary over here. Anyway, The Game has actually opined very differently than his manager Wack. He happens to know the greatness of Nipsey Hussle and has, in a lot of ways, reminded us of what we lost. But some have begun to question The Game…
It would seem that the Prolific Records has tipped people over and some of the product offerings have people going nutso! The Game is selling $500 candles on the Gram for people to buy. Look at it:
It would be really nice to get an interview with The Game to get him to explain the reasoning behind this. I am thinking Nip sold albums for like $100 in a bundle and he inspired his bro to do some similar stuff. I just cannot personally make the connection to the Crenshaw brother! Anyway, I am a bit confused, but the wick is a $500 bill? Is there such a thing? I have never been rich enough to see. There is also a broker version for $100. I have seen a $100 bill in my life.
Well, somebody called The Game all the way out! They cited that The Game registered “Prolific Records” about a week after Nip was tragically murdered? True or False? I can’t say.
My thing is…does it matter? We can just continue to honor Nip our way and The Game can do it his way. Even Wack 100 augments Nip by saying he is not a legend. That actually just makes him more legendary!
(AllHipHop News) George Zimmerman is broke and living in fear of rappers according to a lawsuit filed by the disgraced former security guard.
Zimmerman just won’t leave Trayvon Martin’s family alone. He just filed a $100 million lawsuit against Sabrina Fulton and Tracy Martin.
Zimmerman claims Trayvon’s parents colluded with their attorney Benjamin Crump, as well as other officials, to coach key witnesses into making false statements about the 17-year-old’s infamous death in February of 2012.
Since his acquittal, Zimmerman maintains his life is under constant threat. In 2015, a guy tried to shoot him in the head, but he missed and was sentenced to 20 years for the failed assassination attempt.
George Zimmerman blamed rappers for the danger.
“Zimmerman lives in constant fear of physical harm due to regular death threats, which often are expressed in rap music as well as online social media commentary,” his lawyer wrote in the $100 million lawsuit against Trayvon’s mom and dad.
(AllHipHop News) Drake is one hit away from tying the most career mentions on the U.S. pop charts.
The rapper’s collaboration with PartyNextDoor on “Loyal” has debuted on this week’s Billboard Hot 100 at 63, giving the Canadian his 206th hit – one away from the Glee Cast’s 207 entries.
Drake currently has 43 more chart mentions than third-placed Lil Wayne, while Elvis Presley is at four with 109 hits on the Hot 100 and Kanye West completes the top five with 107.
According to Billboard, Drake first entered the Hot 100 in May 2009 with “Best I Ever Had,” while 35 of Drake’s hits have reached the top 10 and six made it all the way to number one.
(AllHipHop News) R. Kelly’s former girlfriend Joycelyn Savage has spoken out against the Patreon account falsely set up in her name to slander the disgraced singer.
Speaking to TMZ this week Savage insisted she was not the one behind the allegations and maintained her support for the embattled Ignition hitmaker.
“I am truly tired of all the lies that they are saying about the man we love so much and our best friend, R. Kelly,” she read from her phone in footage obtained by the publication. “It has been said that I have left him and that he has abused me and all kinds of nonsense. I have said before, none of that is true.
She went on to question how the singer is supposed to get a fair trial when “all these lies are being told on him”.
Meanwhile, Kelly’s lawyer Nicole Blank Becker also added in a statement: “The fictitious stories were placed on a public platform to shape public opinion. By no fault of the public, those stories were believed and even relished in.
“Now that we know that Joycelyn Savage was NOT the person behind the stories, we know that stories told were complete fabrications,” she explained, reported Entertainment Tonight, calling the situation a “prime example of how easy it is for the wool to be pulled over the public’s eyes”.
Kelly was arrested earlier this year on a 13-count federal indictment, with a Chicago judge setting a tentative trial date of September 14, 2020 for the star.
He has pleaded not guilty to all allegations.
Savage, along with another of the “I Believe I Can Fly” star’s ‘girlfriends’, Azriel Clary, previously stood by the musician and claimed their parents were trying to “scam” money out of him with their allegations of abuse.

(AllHipHop News) Fat Joe is already proclaiming his forthcoming album is a masterpiece. Family Ties arrives on Friday, December 6. Before the set lands on DSPs, Joe talked about his latest body of work on On The Block with Billboard.
At one point during the conversation, the Terror Squad leader suggested that Family Ties will go down in history alongside other monumental works of art such as Dr. Dre’s groundbreaking album The Chronic and Lin-Manuel Miranda’s award-winning musical Hamilton.
“Some of the stuff I say is crazy and people cringe, but I look at it as a 2020 Dr. Dre’s Chronic,” said Joey Crack. “It’s undeniably a classic. The biggest hater on Earth is going to hear this album and he got no choice but to call it a classic.”
The Bronx emcee went on to say, “We got a classic, but the way you see the feature list, you might just think it’s a bunch of features. Some people get some features and put everything together. This album, it’s almost like Hamilton, to where ten years from now we could probably make a play of it.”
Family Ties will include contributions fromCool & Dre,Eminem, Lil Wayne, Mary J. Blige, Jeremih, Ty Dolla $ign, Boi-1da, and Hitmaka. Fat Joe already dropped the single “Yes” featuring Cardi B and Anuel AA.
(AllHipHop News) Yes, it was actually this year that Soulja Boy went on his epic media run that spawned the classic meme “Draaaake?!” It may feel like that happened forever ago, but Young Drako actually declared he had the best comeback of 2018… in 2019.
Since his infamous interview with The Breakfast Clubin January, Soulja dealt with some legal issues. The 29-year-old rapper is now out of jail for a probation violation, but he has remained fairly quiet after being locked up for about three months.
So what has Big Soulja been up to since coming home? His manager/business partner Miami Mike spoke to HipHopDX about the “Crank That” hitmaker and what he has planned for 2020.
“He’s moving like [an] OG. He’s about to fight the Jake Paul guy. He’s quit drinking lean. He’s gained 50 pounds since he’s been out. He helping… getting smooth and he’s working out, he’s got buff and he’s just moving like an OG,” said Miami Mike.
The possibility of a Soulja Boy versus Jake Paul bout has been talked about for months. In September, the popular YouTube personality called out Soulja for allegedly being scared to fight him. Paul said, “I grew up a Soulja Boy fan, so I’d knock him out and I’d be like, ‘Yo, respect. Let’s do a song together, bro.'”
Jake’s older brother, Logan Paul, recently lost a high-profile professional boxing match against British YouTuber Olajide “KSI” Olatunji. In an interview with AllHipHop, KSI downplayed the idea of facing off against the younger Paul.
“I’m definitely interested in fighting another celebrity. I feel like YouTuber wise, there isn’t really anyone for me. Besides maybe Jake, but I think Jake needs to prove himself. That’s why I’m always telling people he needs to fight [AnEsonGib]. If he beats Gib, then, fine, he can fight me,” stated KSI.
As for Soulja Boy, his 2020 will include crisscrossing the nation as part of Omarion and Bow Wow’s “The Millennium Tour” along with Ying Yang Twins, Lloyd, Sammie, and Pretty Ricky. Miami Mike also teased that an hour and 20-minute documentary will hit theaters in the coming months.
(AllHipHop News) Did Robert “Kid Rock” Ritchie’s random rant against the so-called “Queen of All Media” Oprah Winfrey cost him money? Detroit’s Little Caesars Arena, which is operated by Ilitch Holdings, is severing ties with the singer’s restaurant.
Last month, TMZ published a video of Kid Rock berating Winfrey and The View co-host Joy Behar at his steakhouse in Nashville. National Action Network’s Michigan chapter president Reverend Charles Williams II blasted Ritchie as a “low-life racist punk rock star” and called on Ilitch Holdings to replace his eatery with a minority-owned establishment.
Ilitch Holdings officials are claiming Kid Rock “voluntarily decided” not to renew his agreement. Neither the company nor the former member of The Beast Crew rap group confirmed the anti-Oprah rant was the actual cause of the business separation. However, Kid Rock’s Facebook post about the matter clearly refers to race, the black community, and Reverend Al Sharpton’s National Action Network.
“I will not be renewing my licensing agreement for my Made In Detroit Restaurant this April,” wrote Kid Rock. “I appreciate all who have patronized our place and still have much love for the City of Detroit and the people/organizations that I have helped there for years, black, white, whatever, but learned long ago, go where you’re celebrated, not tolerated.”
He added, “I guess the millions of dollars I pumped into that town was not enough. I will let the NAN network and others go ahead and take the wheel now. Good luck. I may be guilty of being a loud-mouth jerk at times, but trying to label me racist is a joke, and actually only does a disservice to the black community, which I have supported my entire life, by trying to alienate myself and many others. PS – Hey Al Sharpton, you or your cronies will never beat me you tax-evading, race-baiting clown!”
Sharpton responded to Kid Rock seemingly blaming him and NAN for his restaurant closing. The MSNBC political pundit told TMZ, “If he’s leaving Detroit because of our protest, we consider that a success. I think he tweeted that we will never beat him. Somebody ought to give him a newsflash, we already have.”
(AllHipHop News) Cardi B and Offset found themselves in the headlines again over the last two days. The Hip Hop power couple faced allegations that Set was once again unfaithful to his wife.
Jade, who is 6ix9ine’s girlfriend and one of the women accusing Cardi B of ordering a strip club attack, revealed a supposed Instagram direct message from Offset. That DM read, “Miss u fr.”
Both Offset and Cardi claimed the Migos member’s social media accounts were hacked and he was not responsible for the flirtatious note. Set even presented an email from Instagram’s owner Facebook that seemed to be evidence that he had actually lost control of the IG page.
On Wednesday, Cardi B’s name began trending on Twitter as fans offered support to the Grammy winner and critics called her out for continuing to defend her husband. The “Be Careful” rapper is apparently attempting to move on from the controversy.
Over the last 12 hours, Cardi shared three different videos of her and Offset’s daughter, Kulture, via Instagram Story. She also returned to the main IG to upload a video of herself dancing on a private jet to what appears to be her remix of Davido’s “Fall” single. The clip has collected nearly 3 million views in 5 hours.
“1:03am drop my KK in NY on my way to Afrriiiiicaaaaaaaaaa baybeeeee!!!!!!,” wrote Cardi in the caption. The Bronx, New York native is headed to Lagos, Nigeria and Accra, Ghana to perform two concerts on December 7 and December 8.

(AllHipHop News) Rap star Tekashi 6ix9ine saved himself from a long stint in prison by testifying against the Nine Trey Gangsta Bloods.
Prosecutor Geoffrey S. Berman just submitted his recommendation and he’s asking Judge Paul Engelmayer to reduce the amount of time the rapper will spend incarcerated.
6ix9ine was facing 47 years in prison after he pleaded guilty to racketeering conspiracy and eight other charges.
Tekashi 6ix9ine, real name Daniel Hernandez, decided to assist the Feds to get a reduced sentence immediately after his arrest in November of 2018.
“There is no question that the defendant’s life will never be the same because of his cooperation in this case. He and his family will have to take extra safety precautions when being in public so as to avoid potential reprisals from others,” Geoffrey S. Berman explained.
A judge will give the rapper his sentence on December 18, 2019 at 10:00 AM.
Berman pointed out five factors Tekashi 6ix9ine should get a reduced sentence.
1. Significance and usefulness of the defendant’s assistance.
“The defendant provided an insider’s view of Nine Trey and a first-hand account of many acts of violence that the government otherwise did not have.”
2. Truthfulness, completeness and reliability of the defendants information and testimony
“The defendant has been truthful with the government from the outset of his cooperation. From his first proffer, the defendant was forthcoming both about the conduct for which he had been charged, as well as uncharged conduct, including conduct with nine trade and his other criminal activity.”
3. Nature and extent of the defendant’s assistance
“As detailed herein, the defendant provided extensive assistance in this case, including seven substantive proffered sessions with the government prior to his guilty plea, and approximately 26 meetings between his arrest and trial.”
4. Injuries suffered, or danger or risk of Injury to the defendant resulting or his family resulting from his assistance
“The defendant’s cooperation has come at great risk to his and his family’s safety, in ways far more significant than other cases. Nine Trey is one of the most violent sets of the United Bloods Nation, claiming members throughout the country. Prior to his cooperation becoming public, the defendant relocated his family.”
5.Timeliness of the defendants assistance
“The defendant’s cooperation could not have been timelier. He provided information to law enforcement when they approached him on November 17th, 2018 to discuss the threats made against him. He was arrested in the evening on November 18, 2018, was presented on the evening of November 19th, 2018 and met with the government on November 20th, 2018.
Blueface’s manager, Wack 100 might have dug himself in a joke following the comments he made about the late Nipsey Hussle. According to Wack, he feels Nipsey was not a legend. Ouch. I know a lot of LA natives weren’t here for that comment; neither was T.I. and Meek Mill.
T.I. posted the definition of a legend and wrote that it had Nipsey’s name all over it.
T.I. responded posting a cartoon that says, “people on Twitter vs people in real life.” The cartoon shows how people on social media respect music artists in real life versus how they act behind a screen.
(AllHipHop News) Taraji P. Henson wants to break down the stigma surrounding mental health issues in the African-American community.
The “Empire” actress has spoken openly about her struggles with anxiety and depression in the past, and told Self magazine in a new interview she hopes speaking out about her battle will influence people to be more open to their mental health.
“In the African-American community, we don’t talk about mental health. It’s a stigma surrounding it,” she explained. “We’re just not allowed to be vulnerable, we have to be strong all the time. This is 400 years of damage, 400 years of trauma, that we have not dealt with.”
Recognizing her own symptoms as, “mood swings… feeling really awkward in my skin, feeling out of sorts,” the star insisted she never felt ashamed as she came to terms with what was happening.
“For me, there was no shame when I started to recognize it,” she said. “It was like, I have to get some help because I’m the life of the party and when I go dark I go dark. I don’t want to leave the house and my friends started to notice me pulling back.”
In fact, the 49-year-old added she “felt such a relief” when she decided to speak out publicly about her depression, reflecting: “I was drowning, and once I spoke my truth, I started to float back.”
