Fans may know that Sean “Diddy” Combs has been extremely vocal about getting the Hip-Hop community out to the polls for years.
Speaking out on the vote, politics, entrepreneurship, self-empowerment, and social justice has been something that he has never shied away from and now he is adding international awareness to the conversation.
Recently, the Bad Boy posted on his Instagram story a note about Armenia, a small nation that was once part of the former Soviet republic, in the mountainous Caucasus region between Asia and Europe.
The country is now in the throes of war since an invasion launched last month. “Armenia is under attack,” Diddy posted to millions of his followers.
The Armenian National Committee of America (ANCA) extended their gratitude to the music mogul.
The organization took to Twitter and wrote, “Thank you P Diddy for sharing the news on IG – to your 17+ million followers. From Senators to celebrities – we need to raise the roof until America acts to stop the slaughter of Armenians”
Azerbaijan invaded Artsakh on September 27th, with support from their ally Turkey. Heavy fighting broke out between Armenian and Azerbaijan forces over control of the Nagorno-Karabakh region.
These attacks directly impacted the “civilian infrastructures” of the two nations. Reports say that not only are the soldiers coming from Azerbaijan and Turkey, but also Syria.
Thank you @Diddy for sharing the news on IG – to your 17+ million followers.
From Senators to celebrities – we need to raise the roof, until America acts to stop the slaughter of Armenians.
Austin Sexton is an artist first, a producer second, and an engineer third. The Pennsylvania native has been in the music industry for what seems like forever, working behind the scenes and contributing to numerous hits. Learning how to play piano at the age of 5with the ability to play 10 different instruments, he currently serves as Head of Production at Playback Los Angeles studio in Van Nuys.
After playing an open mic while intoxicated on State Street in downtown Santa Barbara, he was asked to play for the Santa Barbara Chamber of Commerce — while he was there on vacation. At that point, he knew it could be a long-lasting career. With no knowledge of the process, he went to a studio and dropped his entire life savings into recording a 6-track EP, eventually teaching himself how to record and produce himself. Now, he celebrates a certified Gold record after working with SuperDuperKyle on “To The Moon.”
Having released music as his own solo artist for 2 years now, Austin prides himself in his unique sound blending the likes of R&B, funk, soul, and honesty — baring his soul with each release. Now he returns with his newest single “Roses,” pairing it with a standout visual that only marks the beginning of a film to come. Fans can look forward to his forthcoming sophomore album titled The Closure You Seek.
AllHipHop caught up with Austin in downtown Los Angeles to discuss his upbringing back in Pennsylvania, getting his first Gold record, the inspiration behind “Roses,” endorsements, goals, and more!
AllHipHop: You’re from Pennsylvania, what were you seeing growing up?
Austin Sexton: A very small white town, maybe 60,000 people. I was one of 4 black kids in a school with 200 in the entire population from pre-kindergarten all the way through 12th. Not a whole lot going on in the arts. I was born in 1990, I was there for 20 years. The older I got, the more the arts started to develop with my family and throughout the county. It was a bit of a culture shock moving out here because Pennsylvania’s old in the sense that it’s one of the original states. You come out to California, it’s a whole melting pot and culture shock out here. I was very close-minded to a lot of things including music, until I moved out to California.
AllHipHop: When did you come to California?
Austin Sexton: 2011. I was 21.
AllHipHop: How did you learn how to produce on your own?
Austin Sexton: To play piano and all the instruments I had teachers over the years. To produce, I was taught by a mentor at that studio I went to and dropped that bag on. He saw all the talent, he said “it’s not about the money. I need you to actually be by my side, I’ma show you how to do this.” He took me under his wing to this day. Now we have a recording studio in Van Nuys called Playback Los Angeles, that’s where all of my production’s done. All my self-production. If I’m engineering for people or producing for people, major label or indie situations, it all falls through there.
AllHipHop: How long have you had that studio?
Austin Sexton: We’ve had it for a year and a half now. Fairly new, took a year to build. A lot of really dope names through the building already. My mentor OT, that’s how we have our mutual friend Demrick. Demrick and OT were recording together 6 or 7 years before I knew OT, that’s how I got introduced to him. He became a big brother to me.
AllHipHop: You’re a certified Gold producer, what record was that for?
Austin Sexton: SuperDuperKyle, a record called “To The Moon” that was on his Light of Mine album. Me and my bro Sunny Norway produced it. I met Sunny through KYLE’s brother, UGLY introduced us and we started working on production. He said “I’m working with KYLE, let’s lob some ideas.” It worked out that way.
AllHipHop: How does it feel to get a Gold record as a producer?
Austin Sexton: I still haven’t gotten the plaque yet, haven’t had time to do it. I actually ordered it yesterday. It’s going to be dope to see it on the wall. It’s dope to be part of a really big album that’s helped define KYLE. It’s the itch: once you get one, you want to keep going. I’m always doing some stuff. Since I’ve done it for somebody else, I want to do it for myself.
AllHipHop: Is it hard to be taken seriously as an artist, since you’ve been more behind the scenes?
Austin Sexton: I have a core little group of people who definitely support my music, that’s dope. When you’re not huge and not making a crazy amount of money, you’re doing it independently and you’re not signed to a label so you don’t have that advance, it gets a little discouraging at times. You have to sit behind the engineering chair, you have to produce all the time. You’re in there like “yo lemme get a shot,” but you have to play your role. I’m working with a couple homies now for the next 15 days, doing 12-hour engineering shifts for different majors and artists. I’m a really good engineer and a really good producer. “Oh, we need you to do these things.” Dope, but I just dropped a single and I’m trying to promote that.
AllHipHop: The bag’s probably great too.
Austin Sexton: You can’t turn down the bag. The money’s right in front of you, you take that money.
AllHipHop: New single “Roses,” who or what inspired this record?
Austin Sexton: The inspiration behind it was a relationship. I was dating somebody for a really long time and right before I left for tour, we ended up splitting up. As an independent artist, I’m engineering and I’m producing all the time. I’m trying to make it myself, but the bag’s inconsistent. She was looking for security. She ended breaking up with me because she said the life she envisioned for herself is harder with me in it. That s### crushed me.
Granted when I first moved to LA, I was living with me and all the homies. Turning 27, splitting a room with somebody trying to lower rent. She’s looking for bigger and better things, I’m out here grinding trying to make it for myself. It inspired not only the single, but a whole album of 11 songs. No songs on the album that weren’t used, that’s the first one that came out. It’s an ultimatum. The chorus goes “roses are red, hundreds are blue, money can’t show my love for you. Roses are red, hundreds are green, is love enough to stay with me?” Can we make this work without having to worry about money? It’s 2020, s### gets crazy. We’re in LA, relationships are a dime a dozen.
AllHipHop: Who’s idea was it to get kidnapped in the visual?
Austin Sexton: It was my concept. Me and my boy Austin Cantu, he definitely knows how to bring my ideas to life. I’m a real big movie guy, I love cinematic stuff. A lot of videos these days are real fast, everybody’s flexing money, but I like to tell stories. I’m inspired by Quentin Tarantino and the big movie guys. I wanted to do something different and cinematic.
AllHipHop: This is the beginning to more films, right?
Austin Sexton: Yes! We have 4 or 5 singles coming before the album, all the videos and visuals are based around that first visual I put out. It’s a mini-movie.
AllHipHop: What can we expect from the album?
Austin Sexton: I wouldn’t call it an album, I’d call it an idea. It’s the same premise as Frank Ocean Blonde where it all goes in and out of each other. It’s really a story. There’s skits and different sequences. It’s a start to finish, 1 to 11. Get in your car, you press play, you’ll zone out until the end in the best way possible. It’s an idea, a concept album.
AllHipHop: Talk about your endorsements: Gibson Guitar, Native Instruments, and Blue Microphones 7.
Austin Sexton: When I was recording in Santa Barbara, we moved the studio I had to down here. When we’re closing up shop to look for a new place, the owner of the studio let me use his guitar. I didn’t have a guitar at the time. It was a PRS, the guitar I used to make my very first projects. He’s taking the guitar back with him to NY. I put my first album out called GOODSEX at the time, meaning good music from Austin Sexton. This woman reached out to me via email, her name was Rae Vinton. She’s still my Gibson rep today.
She said “hey want to let you know out of the blue I came across your album, I absolutely love it. Do you have a guitar? What kind of guitar were you using?” I said “Oh PRS, I don’t have it anymore.” She said “I work with Gibson, would you like to come down to the showroom?” Literally the day the guy left with the guitar. It was a blessing in disguise that now I’m endorsed with them because they love my music and the way I play, my genre. Native Instruments, I met through Rae as well. They endorse the studio with hardware and software. Anything we need, we tag them. Blue Microphones, it’s all the people and networking. The music industry’s very small. You meet one person, you have 25 mutual friends.
AllHipHop: 3 things you need in the studio?
Austin Sexton: Guitar, a MIDI keyboard, and I need a Puff bar. I chain smoke like a m###########. The studio will already have the computer, I’ll already have all my drum sounds. I might sub out the Puff bar for a nitro cold brew, catch a little vibe with that.
AllHipHop: What are some goals you have for yourself?
Austin Sexton: To sustain my standard of living, strictly off of the music I make and the support I have. To get myself a plaque based off my own individual music, and to help and communicate with people based off the music I make. I want to be relatable. I want people to understand, feel, and relate.
Moneybagg Yo recently dropped his “Code Red” mixtape with fellow Memphis rapper Blac Youngsta.
The 13-track project features the track “Said Sum,” which has garnered over 65 million views on YouTube and has already reached gold status by the RIAA. Moneybagg is breathing more life into the song by teaming up with City Girls and DaBaby to collectively send a clear message to their haters.
Check out the new video for “Said Sum Remix,” which was directed by Ben Marc.

Forget the government. T.I. and AllHipHop’s L.I.B.R.A. Stimulus Package is moving the needle forward in social entrepreneurship and community investment during these times of dire straits, more than anyone has ever expected.
At the top of the month, AllHipHop announced that in celebration of the Grand Hustler’s latest project, The L.I.B.R.A (The Legend Is Back Running Atlanta) that dropped last week on October 16th, the rapper would give away $1,200 to 10 lucky participants, over ten days.
The response was overwhelming, showing both the mogul and the platform that this idea was far more than just a promotion, it was a lifesaver for some of the winners as well.
Now T.I. is dropping even more money.
This time, $12,000 will be given to one student from a Historically Black College or University. There is a need there as prices for HBCUs have been rising over the last 30 years.
According to Larik Dais, an executive at a popular shipping company, a member of Phi Beta Sigma and a graduate of Morehouse College, the tuition at his alma mater was under $6000 in 1991.
Now it is almost ten times that amount.
So great has student debt become with Black college grads, that billionaire Robert Smith offered to pay over $34 million in outstanding student loans for the graduating class of 2019 at Morehouse.
T.I., whose real name is Clifford Harris, joins the club of miracle makers.
His gift of $12,000 could have gone to a nice Rolex, a new Birkin bag for his wife, or a few new toys for his kid, but it will not.
What it will serve is as a down payment for some young woman or man’s future — stimulating the economy in a very tangible way.

On his new single and video “Postman”, the young Connecticut native has a special delivery that the girls are sure to go crazy over and it is something that the fellas will respect and want to emulate.
Marcus is destined for greatness and on “Postman” he proves that he has what it takes to be ranked amongst the greatest, and he is unapologetically solidifying his spot.
Young Thug’s longtime driver is threatening to sue the rapper after he was viciously assaulted after a house party in Los Angeles.
Thugger’s longtime driver Derrick Thrasher says he got into a verbal argument with Lil Duke during a party in May of 2020. Thrasher says he left the party to avoid a fight with Lil Duke, who is an artist on Young Thug’s label YSL Records.
But all hell broke loose when Thrasher was called to do his job to scoop up Young Thug. When Thrasher arrived, he was attacked and severely beaten.
According to a letter obtained by TMZ, Thrasher’s lawyers say he was “held down, punched, kicked, and had a liquor bottle smashed over his head.”
Derrick Thrasher says his injuries were so serious that he required surgery after the assault. Lil Duke and Young Thug, as well as their label 300 Entertainment, could be hauled into the court over the matter if a settlement is not reached soon.
Kanye West just dropped his second video for his campaign to become President of the United States.
On July 4th, Kanye announced he was going to challenge President Donald Trump and former vice-president Joe Biden.
While he has no chance of winning, Kanye has managed to get on the ballot in a dozen states, including Iowa, Mississippi, Colorado, Oklahoma, and Tennessee.
In his newest video, Kanye rounded up a variety of people from around the country, who are planning to vote for the Chicago rap star on November 3rd.
“When I think about my next president, I think about somebody who’s gonna help people, care about family, create jobs. These are things that Kanye West has already done,” said one voter from Connecticut named Davey.
Another clip shows a woman named Emily who is proud to vote for Kanye West because his campaign is faith-based.
“America. What is America’s destiny? What is best for our nation? Our people? What is just, true justice,” the rapper asked. “We have to think about all these things together as a people.”
Kanye West seemingly has a love-hate relationship with the NBC sketch comedy series Saturday Night Live. The musician/fashion designer famously told the SNL cast to kiss his “whole ass” on this single “Power” off My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy, but he has also been a musical guest on the show multiple times, including a highly-publicized appearance two years ago after he beefed with the variety show in 2010.
The G.O.O.D. Music founder claimed he was “bullied” at SNL in 2018 for giving a pro-Donald Trump speech while wearing a Make America Great Again hat. Insiders connected to SNL denied West was ever harassed over his MAGA support and pointed out that he wore the controversial red cap during promotional videos prior to the episode.
Fast forward to October 2020 and Kanye West has a new grievance with the people at Saturday Night Live. West took issue with a segment starring this week’s host, Issa Rae. In the scene, the Insecure actress was playing a political analyst on a local news program called “Your Voice Chicago” where the character expressed support for any Black political candidate except Kanye West who is currently running a virtually unwinnable campaign to be President of the United States.
The sketch ended with Rae (as fictional NAACP counsel Jamele Demmings) saying, “Kanye? F him!” In response, Ye tweeted, “I’ve always said SNL uses black people to hold other black people back. My heart goes out to Issa Rae I’m praying for her and her family. I know that the twenty years of service that I’ve paid in the entertainment field has furthered our ability to be more successful.”
Almost instantly, Saturday Night Live viewers began pointing out the hypocrisy and inconsistency of West stating he always knew SNL was harmful to African-Americans but yet he performed on the show six times throughout his career beginning in 2005.
In addition, West was called out for complaining about racial bias while also being a longtime supporter of President Donald Trump, a politician that fuels division with racial dog whistles, institutes discriminatory policies like the Muslim travel ban and child separation at the US-Mexican border, and promotes federal legal action against Black Lives Matter protestors.

The Three 6 Mafia rapper/producer was telling the truth about a new “Chopped Not Slopped” of 21 Savage and Metro Boomin’s making its way to DSPs. A slowed-down take on the project – put together by Houston’s OG Ron C and DJ Slim K – arrived on Sunday.
Metro Boomin even co-signed the revamped Savage Mode II [Chopped Not Slopped] by shouting out OG Ron C and the ChopStars on “Purple Savage Mode II Intro.” Ron C wrote on Instagram, “Big s/o to my boi @metroboomin @21savage for helping us keep the slowed culture alive. DJ Screw is credited as the founder of the remixing technique known as “Chopped & Screwed.” The Texas legend died at the age of 29 in 2000, but his musical contribution continued to be part of Hip Hop well beyond his death as variations of his “chopped up” style was picked up by other creators.
Cardi B became an international superstar partly due to her presence online. Her digital personality helped her build a loyal fanbase, but it appears the “WAP” rapper is not enjoying social media at the moment.
As of press time, Cardi’s verified Twitter account is no longer active. This change came after the Atlantic recording artist spent several days chastising her own supporters for posting negative comments about her family members, friends, and employees.
In particular, Cardi took issue with some Bardi Gang members complaining about her reuniting with her husband Offset after filing for divorce in September. The celebrity couple was later seen partying together for Cardi’s 28th birthday.
“Twitter users be like, ‘Cardi, you’re in a mentally abusive relationship. Oh my gosh, we gotta save you.’ And I be like, ‘Alright, but can I f### him today? Because I need to have sex.’ N##### in my DMs talking about, ‘Whaddup big head?’ I don’t like that. I’m 28 years old and my head’s not big. Actually, it is but not with a lace front [wig]. The f###?” joked Cardi in a Twitter video posted on October 16.
While Cardi’s Twitter page is no longer available, her Instagram page with 77 million followers is still active at the moment. This weekend she took to Instagram Live to address her fandom and her marriage.
“I didn’t put my divorce out there. A f###### court clerk put it out there. And because people are making rumors up: ‘Oh, this guy has a girl pregnant,’ I have to address it… Then ya’ll want to be harassing this n####. Bro, if I work things out, why are you going to this n####’s Twitter to harass him? That s### don’t make no f###### sense,” said Cardi during the IG Live session.
She added, “I love my fans and I’m thankful and I’m grateful for everything you do, but some of you really be acting like I sleep with y’all. Offset is not the only f###### problem that I deal with. To be honest with you, my marriage is one of the least worries that I have right now.”
Summer/fall 2020 has been a rollercoaster of emotions for Cardi B. She extended her record of having the most #1 singles for a female rapper when “WAP” featuring Megan Thee Stallion debuted at #1 on the Hot 100. Plus, the native New Yorker was named the new face of the Balenciaga brand and sold out her Reebok collection.
However, personal issues becoming public conversations has plagued Cardi throughout the year. Her on-again, off-again relationship with Offset continues to be fodder for blog headlines, and her recent dispute with her own Bardi Gang fans faced heavy judgment online.
This weekend’s Saturday Night Live will present Grammy-winning singer-songwriter H.E.R. as the musical guest. The 23-year-old instrumentalist born Gabriella Wilson announced the news on Instagram.
Besides H.E.R., the October 24 episode of SNL will also feature another critically acclaimed vocalist. Great Britain’s Adele will make her hosting debut for the NBC late-night sketch comedy show.
Season 46 of SNL launched on October 3 after taking an extended hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Hip Hop star Megan Thee Stallion performed on the program two weeks ago. Young Thug joined her for “Don’t Stop.”
Chance The Rapper hit the stage with Justin Bieber for a performance of their collaboration “Holy” on the October 17 episode of Saturday Night Live. Season 45 included sets by Chance, DaBaby, Lizzo, The Weeknd, and more.
It appears Meek Mill was telling the truth when he revealed that an associate of T.I. urinated on Drake in 2010. The bizarre story first came to light on Meek’s “Wanna Know” diss record from 2015. Drake and Meek were feuding at the time.
“You let Tip homie p### on you in a movie theater, n####. We ain’t forget,” said Meek on the “Wanna Know” record. At the time, there was a significant discussion about whether that incident actually took place.
T.I. has now confirmed that his friend Terrance “Cap” Beasley did pee on Drake ten years ago. On “We Did It Big” featuring John Legend, the Atlanta emcee raps, “So drunk in LA, end up p#####’ on Drake. S###, f### it, that’s still my brother since back in the trap house.”
Apparently, Drake was not pleased that the story was brought back up on Tip’s new The L.I.B.R.A. (The Legend Is Back Running Atlanta) album. According to reports, the Toronto performer unfollowed his “Fancy” collaborator on Instagram.
However, some fans called hypocrisy on Drake since earlier this month he used 21 Savage and Metro Boomin’s “Mr. Right Now” to tell the world he once dated SZA in 2008/2009. That decade-old information was previously unknown to the public, and the revelation forced the R&B songstress to address the relationship.
The #1 album on the Billboard 200 chart belongs to Pop Smoke once again. This week, Shoot for the Stars, Aim for the Moon rose back to the top spot after debuting in the pole position in July.
Pop’s posthumous project collected another 67,000 equivalent album units during the latest tracking week. 21 Savage and Metro Boomin’s Savage Mode II barely missed remaining at #1 in its second week with 66,000 units.
Hip Hop artists control the rest of the Top 5 on the Billboard 200. Juice WRLD’s Legends Never Die jumped five spots to #3 (45,000 units), Lil Baby’s My Turn surged 6 spots to #4 (38,000 units), and Machine Gun Kelly’s Tickets to My Downfall climbed 1 spot to #5.
Shoot for the Stars, Aim for the Moon joins My Turn as entries that experienced long waits between reigns atop the album rankings in 2020. Lil Baby debuted at #1 in March and returned to #1 in June. My Turn spent a total of five weeks as the leader of the list.
A gangster who tried to shoot Chief Keef in the middle of Times Square in New York on behalf of Tekashi 6ix9ine is asking for mercy when he is sentenced in November.
Kintea “Kooda B” McKenzie wrote a lengthy letter to Judge Paul Engelmayer and apologized for his reckless behavior with Tekashi 6ix9ine and the Nine Trey Gangsta Bloods.
Kooda B is hoping the judge will take it easy on him when he is sentenced to prison in November.
Kooda B, who says he’s a rapper and a dancer, claims he became enamored with Tekashi 6ix9ine after the rainbow-haired rapper made a song named after him.
“I allowed myself to look up to and listen to someone with more success and fame. That was not the right thing to do,” Kooda explained to Judge Engelmayer. “I regret it and it won’t happen again. I thought he was a good friend. I was excited that he named a song after me.”
“I didn’t realize there were guns in the video until watching it. I immediately let him know I don’t attend videos with guns. l have kids that are inspired by me,” Kooda B claimed.
Ironically, Kooda B claimed that prior to his arrest with Tekashi 6ix9ine he visited over 30 elementary schools in New York, to promote anti-violence messages.
“I know it made no sense for me to do what Tekashi asked when I had been working in anti-violence,” Kooda B said. Kooda B, who has already spent almost a year locked up, says he’s had enough of prison already.
“I also had long talks with older men that’s been serving life sentences since their teens. I thought about my father that’s been in and out of jail my whole life… I said to myself l don’t wanna be like this man or my father. This situation hurt me. l haven’t seen my grandmother who raised me in a long time. She had surgery in both her eyes. I don’t wanna be away from my family any longer,” Kooda B reflected.
It is doubtful Kooda B’s gut-wrenching letter will have any sway over Judge Engelmayer.
Kooda B has already pleaded guilty to taking a shot at Chief Keef, and Tekashi 6ix9ine testified that gave Kooda $10,000 out of a $20,000 bounty to carry out the hit.
In April, Judge Engelmayer released Kooda B from the Metropolitan Correctional Center because he was at an elevated risk of catching the coronavirus behind bars because he is asthmatic, like his former buddy Tekashi 6ix9ine.
Judge Engelmayer said he was seriously considering giving Kooda B more time than the 4.5 years he is already facing in prison.
“Based on this dishonorable conduct, it is considering varying at sentencing above the guidelines range of 46-57 months imprisonment that the parties have agreed is applicable and from which each before this episode had agreed not to seek a variance,’ Judge Engelmayer wrote.
After the 2010’s feature film “Just Wright” featuring Common, it seems like Queen Latifah is making another basketball movie.
Paparazzi found the “Ladies First” emcee in Philadelphia shooting a new film about the sport for Netflix, with the hilarious Adam Sandler. This will not only be the first time the two will be in a movie together but it is also the first time Adam Sandler stars in a flick about basketball.
He has been in a few sports movies: “Happy Gilmore” (1996) about golf and “The Waterboy” (1998), a classic about football.
The movie, which is being executive produced by LeBron James, is called “Hustle” and will be about a basketball scout (played by the former “Saturday Night Live” cast member).
Sandler’s character finds a ‘once-in-a-lifetime’ player while outside of the country and decides that he wants to start working with this elite athlete to get him to the NBA.
What’s the most exciting part of this movie?
Queen Latifah, whose real name is Dana Owens, will play his wife. That is sure to be funny as both are known to cut up when the cameras are rolling.
No word on when this movie is scheduled to come out
Fivio Foreign, a popular drill artist from Brooklyn who’s been making noise on the streets, has just been released after a brief stint in jail.
The “Big Drip” rapper was arrested earlier this week on an alleged domestic violence charge in New Jersey for allegedly striking his pregnant girlfriend.
The rapper took to Twitter to share with his family, friends, and fans a little message about his recent incarceration, clearing up some misconceptions about who he is.
The social media posts were long but important for him to express as many have questioned his character. The primary message was to communicate that he would never hurt or bring danger to the mother of his unborn child — or anyone in his family— noting that his mother would kill him.
The caption noted: “I appreciate y’all support and concerns and prayers… But I ain’t Neva hide nuffin I do or deny who I was. I wud neva hurt or harm any pregnant woman especially not my GF. My mother wud kill me, plus I’m raise’n 2 blacc lil gurls. & Woman do everything for me in my life.”

He further noted on the social media platform that like most relationships, he and his girlfriend have experienced ups and downs.
“In relationships people argue and have disagreements, Whoeva kno is kno we been argue’n we argue & we Weill always argue. It’s juss unfortunate dat I have nosy ass neighbors who can’t mind dey own business. Wasn’t da 1st Tyme and won’t b da last,” the rapper explained.

In his final messages, Fivio drew attention to his personage, pointing to the systemic bias that he is bombarded with because he is a successful Black man.
“Im loud rich blacc and I have a past so people judge but we will get past dis… We get thru everything we go thru. We family.”
Fontrell Antonio Baines, a 31-year-old rapper called Nuke Bizzle, was locked up on three felonious charges — counts of access device fraud, aggravated identity theft, and interstate transportation of stolen property.
A U.S. Attorney’s Office said that the artists and his co-conspirators copped almost 100 unemployment debit cards pre-loaded with more than $1.2 million.
They have evidence since he has taken to social media to brag about his crimes and even posted videos on YouTube where he admits to getting paid with his government schemes.
In one video he said, “Unemployment so sweet. We had 1.5 land this week. You gotta sell cocaine, I can just file a claim.”
Is this the first rapper to have dubbed the government on funds intended to help the poor and flaunted the wealth to their fanbase? That answer would be “no.”
On March 30, 1995, MTV aired a segment entitled “Ol’ Dirty Bastard Gets Paid,” featuring the founding member Wu-Tang Clan, Ol’ Dirty Bastard.
On the show, ODB wasn’t going to scoop a big check from a concert promoter, or linking with his business manager to check on his bubbling publishing from the hit album Enter the Wu-Tang: 36 Chambers that came out two years prior.
Instead, the clips showed ODB going on a trip to a New York welfare office to pick up a $375 check and some food stamps, a couple of days after the release of his debut album Return to the 36 Chambers: The Dirty Version (which featured his actual welfare identification card as the cover art).
The rapper boasted while dripping in expensive gear and riding in a long limousine, that it is a “no brainer” to get public assistance saying while looking in the camera, “Why wouldn’t you want to get free money?”
However, it was later revealed by his biographer that this act was a socio-political action — as radical as his “Wu-Tang is for the children” comment.
Dirt McCirt’s historian Buddha Monk said that the unorthodox emcee once said, “The people that want to cut off the welfare, man, I think that’s terrible. Do you know how hard it is for people to live without nothing’? You owe me 40 acres and a mule anyway. For real. I’m in this rap game to get money… I got babies. It’s time to take care of my babies.”
But that wasn’t the case for Nuke Bizzle, since he was not worried about making a statement as much as he was about getting the bag. He and his partners allegedly had a full enterprise that furnished them with over 7 figures.
According to a court affidavit seen by the Los Angeles Daily News, when they arrested Nuke Brizzle on September 23rd, he was nabbed with eight of the cards on him.
Each of these cards had the names of other people on them. The federal prosecutors said that the men ordered the cards using third-party monikers (which is considered identity theft) and had them sent to various California neighborhoods like Beverly Hills and Koreatown, where the crew had already withdrawn over $704,000.
Nuke Bizzle could possibly serve up to 22 years in federal prison if convicted.
Chance the Rapper returned to Saturday Night Live over the weekend for a performance with Justin Bieber.
The third episode of this season’s SNL took on last week’s Town Hall debates between President Donald Trump and former VP, Joe Biden.
Alec Baldwin was spot on as he reprised his role as President Donald Trump, while Jim Carrey continued to draw critical acclaim for his portrayal of former vice President Joe Biden.
Actress/entrepreneur Issa Rae served as a special guest host, while Beebs made his appearance as the musical guest on SNL for the fourth time.
Chance the Rapper performed Beiber’s song “Holy” in front of a neon-blue cross. The song is taken from Justin Bieber’s upcoming sixth studio album.
In another memorable sketch, Issa Rae played a lawyer for the NAACP to vote for “everybody Black” on election day except for Kanye West: “Kanye? ‘F’ him,” she exclaimed.
