Offset Objects To Cardi B Dressing Son Like Ne-Yo

Cardi B and Offset have very different views about how to dress their three-month-old son.

The married rappers visited a Target store to get their youngest child some new outfits, and Cardi wanted to buy him a checked grey fedora.

However, in a video posted to Instagram, the Migos star objected, saying, “Oh hell nah. I’m not putting that s**t on my son, man… Got my boy looking like Ne-Yo,” a reference to the hat-loving R&B star.

The hat was just the first of the “Bodak Yellow” musician’s ideas – she also spied a preppy outfit consisting of red trousers, a matching bowtie, as well as a blue shirt and braces.

Cardi called the outfit “cute” but Offset was unimpressed, stating that the attire would make their son look like Carlton, Will Smith’s nerdy cousin in “The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air.”

The unusual fashion choices are a far cry from what Cardi picks for his older sister Kulture, three, as she already has her own luxurious jewellery collection and bags from the likes of Hermes, Chanel, Dolce & Gabbana and Dior.

The “WAP” hitmaker has even gone as far as posing with her daughter in matching designer outfits.

Cardi and Offset have not revealed the name of their second child, who they welcomed in September

Jaden Smith Gained Weight After Will, Jada Staged Intervention Over His Frail Look

Jaden Smith has revealed he gained weight after his family staged an intervention in 2019.

During a recent episode of Red Table Talk, the 23-year-old musician discussed gut problems and previous health issues with his mother, Jada Pinkett Smith, and grandmother Adrienne Banfield-Norris.

The “Summertime in Paris” singer recalled that due to issues with his diet, his family staged an intervention with him in 2019.

“I was able to work with the doctors and really get my vitamins and get my supplements and protein shakes,” he said. “That’s half of my diet. It’s like a password that I have to find to my body. I’m like, 10 pounds heavier now at this point.”

He added that he recently began gaining more muscle by going to the gym.

After being shown a photo comparison of himself now and then, he said, “That was a long way from where I was when I was at Coachella, where I just was like, bones. I thought I was so tight. I was like, ‘This. I’m swagging on this. Like, I need to take off my shirt right now.”

Jada revealed she and her husband Will Smith had a talk with Jaden about his health in a 2019 episode of Red Table Talk.

“Will and I had a bit of an intervention with Jaden because he’s a vegan now, but we realized he wasn’t getting enough protein,” she said. “So he was wasting away. He just looked drained, he was just depleted, he wasn’t getting the nutrients.”

Comedian Cedric the Entertainer believes that people should not hold Travis Scott responsible for the Astroworld tragedy.

The King of Comedy believes that it is unlikely that the “Sicko Mode” artist would have known what was going on in the crowd.

During an interview with Domenick Nati on the host’s self-titled podcast, the funny man shared, “I looked at some of the videos and everything. I mean, the police were right there in front of them, and they’re not reacting. That’s their job, [he’s] a performer.”

Cedric continued, “I find it hard to [believe] people trying to cancel Travis. I find it rude that people try to blame him, saying he should have stopped, and he didn’t. For the most part, he’s there to entertain. He’s in an entertainment vibe.”

“He got a very hyped show,” the seasoned performer stated.

The Missouri native believes that as an artist, he was probably only going off the energy he was getting from the crowd, asserting that he most likely did not get a negative vibe from thousands assembled at the festival.

“I just really don’t like that people try to, in this particular instance, blame him,” Cedric the Entertainer said about the treatment that Travis Scott is receiving. “Never was he up on stage yelling, ‘Let’s f###‘em up and turn it up and let’s go and let’s get wilder!’ He didn’t incite it. So I really wouldn’t like him to take blame for that.”

Tipster Claims Kay Flock Not Triggerman In Murder Case

A lawyer for Kay Flock has come forward with the statement, after the buzzing rapper was charged with murder.

The Bronx-born drill rapper surrender to police yesterday (December 23rd) over at deadly shooting outside of a barbershop in Harlem on December 16th.

That is when Kay Flock allegedly argued with a 24-year-old named Oscar Hernandez outside of the barbershop.

The dispute escalated the gunplay, and Hernandez was fatally shot in the back of the neck.

According to Kay Flock’s lawyer Scott Leemon, He is currently running his own investigation after receiving a tip that someone else was the shooter.

“Yesterday, I accompanied Kevin as he self-surrendered to Detectives in the
30th precinct. Arrangements were immediately made with NYPD once I learned he was wanted,” Scott Leemon said in a statement

“As to the charges levied against him, we have begun out own investigation
into these allegations. More importantly, considering the DA’s significant disclosure this morning that the NYPD received a tip saying someone else is the shooter, we demanded the DA’s office provide prompt disclosure of the videos
referenced in the complaint and more information on the tip.

“We will address bail once we have had a chance to review the pertinent
discovery and to further investigate the DA’s noteworthy disclosure.”

The cops claim Kay Flock is a member of the Bronx based Third Side Gang. So far, the cops believe the killing was gang related however Hernandez’s family claims the murder was a case of mistaken identity.

The murder rap could derail Kay Flock’s career, which was showing signs of potential before he was charged in Hernandez’s shooting death.

His release, “The D.O.A. Tape” entered the Billboard Heatseekers Albums Chart at No.3. and he recently collaborated with G Herbo on the remix for “Being Honest.”

Kel Mitchell Went Celibate For Three Years To Release His “Spirit” From Women He Slept With

Kel Mitchell has opened up about his decision to be celibate for three years.

Speaking to the New York Post’s Page Six, the 43-year-old actor explained that he once met with his pastor about past sexual relationships, and he was advised to “free himself” of them.

“What I had to do was, I literally mentioned every woman that I had been having sex with… I forgave them and forgave myself,” the “Kenan and Kel” star recalled. “After I said all their names, they were released, I released my name from them, I released my spirit from them.”

Mitchell said he was in his twenties, and he “literally felt new” afterward, so he decided to abstain from sex.

“And then that’s when I decided I’m going to be celibate. It made me realize, like a lot of the relationships, it was all just sex,” he continued.

The comedian, who has four children, added that he “had to literally crawl back” to where he needed to be after dealing with the trials of fame.

“Just because we’re celebrities, doesn’t mean that we don’t go through things. I’ve been broke. I’ve been on television and lost it all,” he concluded. “I had to literally crawl back to where I needed to be, but in those low times, I found a lot in myself.”

The actor shares young kids, Wisdom, and Honor, with wife Asia Lee and has adult children, Allure and Lyric, with his ex-wife Tyisha Hampton.

Jay-Z has divided social media users by calling his wife Beyoncé an “evolution” of Michael Jackson.

During a recent Twitter Spaces chat, Jay made the comparison with his “Empire State of Mind” collaborator Alicia Keys during a conversation with ournalist Rob Markman.

“Bey’s gonna be mad at (me) for saying this, but Michael Jackson never had a Coachella,” he said. “She’s an evolution of him because she watched him at nine (years old). And the kids are the same.”

He went on to praise his wife’s 2018 headlining performance at the California festival, adding, “Find me a concert that’s as culturally relevant and thrilling as Coachella. Beyoncé is gonna be one of the best singers we ever heard because she is such a student.”

The rapper made the comments when asked about the ongoing debate over whether Beyoncé has overtaken Jackson as the most important Black artist of this generation.

Jay-Z’s remarks caused an uproar on Twitter, with both Beyoncé and Michael Jackson fans taking issue with the comparison and arguing that their idol was the most talented.

This is not the first time the “Big Pimpin'” star has made a connection between Beyoncé and the late King of Pop, who died in 2009.

He previously said she was “the second coming” of Jackson during a 2011 interview with Miami’s 99 Jamz.

“What I’ve learned from her is similar to what I learned from Mike (Jackson),” he said. “I know that’s blasphemy to compare the two because Mike was such an innovator – but I think she’s like the second coming.”

Detroit-based Christian rapper Klamps’ faith has played a pivotal role in his upbringing and his development as a man.

Raised in the church and spending time as a minister, Klamps recognized a unique way to communicate with the youth in a manner they are more familiar with, thus kickstarting his career as an emcee.

Back in 2011, he began releasing gospel remixes to secular Hip Hop songs via YouTube. As the music gained momentum, Klamps stayed the course and has been gaining a lot of traction by releasing his own original content.

Sonically, his tracks give the impression of any other melodic trap banger, until the listener focuses on the vocals and realizes that Klamps is singing praises to God.

He was previously an active-duty soldier, entrepreneur, restaurant owner and proud father that was happily living life and seeing the world. During the months behind bars, he was now a slave to suspicions that were changing his life. Everything appeared to be slipping through his fingers.

While incarcerated, Sleeze vowed to use this situation that was meant to break him to build an empire.

Just a few weeks after being released, Sleeze began his career as an artist. Instead of being defeated by these circumstances, Sleeze turned them into fire, and they are lighting his way.

Offset Celebrates 30th Birthday With Star-studded Sneaker Ball

Offset’s annual birthday celebration is always one for the books, and this year he did not disappoint as he celebrated with a sneaker ball in Los Angeles.

Hosted by his wife Cardi B, the celebration was held at Sneakertopia and featured Lobos 1707 Tequila and Dusse cocktails and unlimited Popeyes.

There were sneaker displays all across the venue, a sneaker customization station, and an Elevate and THC Design cannabis bar. 

Celebs certainly give their friends the best gifts, and Offset received unreleased Yeezy boots from Kanye West, a custom pair of signed sneakers from Lebron James, and a custom painting by Amani Lewis.

Nothing could top the the extravagant gift of $2 million dollars that Offset received from his wife Cardi B. 

Celebs in attendance included Quavo, Takeoff,  Kanye West, French Montana, Rich the Kid, G-Eazy, Murdabeatz, The Game, Nav, Von Miller, Odell Beckham, Slick Woods, NLE Choppa, and Desiigner. 

The Mayor of Inglewood, James Butts and President of Popeyes Sami Saddiqui were also in the building. 

The event also featured a huge sneaker made out of flowers, and large photos of Offset at the entrance. 

Yungen Gunnin Convicted of Murder in Fatal Shooting Death

Jordan “Yungen Gunnin” Johnson, has been convicted of second degree murder. Back in 2018, he was arrested for the shooting death of Da’John Mitchell. Truly, these events are heart-breaking. Nevertheless, Mr. Mitchell was murdered because he allegedly “bumped into” someone.

Indeed, this incident would quickly escalate. During, a Jonesville, Louisiana performance Johnson jumps crazy. Of course, the infamous Suga Shak is the scene of the crime. Here, the Mississippi MC reportedly shot Da’John, this reports Magnolia State Live. Accordingly, Gunnin interrupts his set. Following, that momentary misstep, chaos ensues. Mitchell, bumps into a member of his entourage

Quickly, tempers flare. Moreover, there was no time to make up. Immediately, following the commotion, a shootout takes place. Then, Mr. Johnson draws down a .38 and shoots Mr. Mitchell “in the back.” After that, the irate artist ups the ante. Subsequently, he allegedly fires four more times. So, while lying on his back, a dying Da’John sustains multiple gunshots.

Consequently, the emerging entertainer is apprehended. However, this arrest takes place in his home state of Mississippi. Specifically, the law boys get credit for the collar. Namely, they spot Gunnin’s rental and eventually take him into custody.

Moreover, D.A. Brad Burget attests, “It was a senseless crime. Either because Mr. Mitchell bumped Johnson or because Mr. Johnson’s vanity he decided to shoot.” Above all, the District Attorney adds, “There is no justification to take someone’s life over purported or perceived insults.”

Finally, in this case nobody wins. Yes, Mr. Mitchell’s family and friends can celebrate a guilty verdict. However, Da’John is not coming back. Therefore, no prison sentence will ever suffice. Additionally, Yungen Gunnin is facing a life-altering prison stint.

New York Rapper Kay Flock Reportedly Charged In Harlem Shooting Death

Bronx drill rapper Kay Flock was reportedly arrested on Thursday (Dec. 23) after a man was shot and killed outside of a Harlem barbershop.  

Last month, Billboard named Flock their “R&B/Hip-Hop Rookie of the Month” following the release of his debut project “The D.O.A. Tape” which entered the Billboard Heatseekers Albums Chart at No.3.  He recently collaborated with G Herbo on the remix for “Being Honest.”

NY Daily News report 18-year-old Kevin “Kay Flock” Perez is facing murder charges in connection with the killing of 24-year-old Oscar Hernandez. The incident occurred around 10 a.m on December 16 while Hernandez was waiting to get his haircut at the barbershop on Amsterdam Ave. at W. 151st St.  

According to NY Daily News, the cops say Kay Flock and Hernadez began arguing inside the shop. The pair then stepped outside and continued arguing before the 18-year-old shot Hernandez in the back of the neck.  

Police claim Flock is a member of the Bronx-based Thirdside Gang and say the shooting was gang-related. However, the victim’s family believes the killing was a case of mistaken identity.  

DJ Akademiks shared updates on Twitter as the situation developed last night (Dec. 23). He posted a still from surveillance footage and a “WANTED” poster released by the police. 

“NY Rapper ‘Kay Flock’ reportedly arrested tonight for the Dec. 16 Murder of a 24 Year Old in a Barber Shop. Police Claim the killing was gang related. Cops Released This pic.” 

“Previously NYPD had released this Wanted Poster for Kay Flock before they arrested him tonight.” 

Key Flock reportedly awaited arraignment Thursday in Manhattan Criminal Court. This situation is developing.  

Fetty Wap Reveals How Taylor Swift Made Him Question His Entourage

Fetty Wap has been through some ups and downs in his career since he first emerged on the scene with “Trap Queen” in December 2015.

The New Jersey native opened up about a range of topics though he remained silent on his recent arrest. The “My Way” hitmaker spoke on issues with his label 300 Entertainment, lawsuits, and struggling to manage his finances.  

He also discussed receiving advice from an unexpected source regarding managing his entourage – pop superstar Taylor Swift. The two spent time together back in 2015 when Taylor Swift brought Fetty Wap out to perform “Trap Queen” while on tour in Seattle.  

“She’s actually the coolest person I’ve ever met,” he revealed. “She’s the reason I actually started paying attention to my camp. … We had a talk, she put me on this big-ass jet. Her jet is big as s###, it’s some next level s###. I hope she don’t get mad if I say this, but she broke down how she structured her life. She would take off all year to write her music, get in her zone, meditate and go through her books.”   

Fetty Wap added that Swift has a system of checks and balances to ensure everyone is doing their job properly. “She would hire a manager to look at this manager, hire a lawyer to watch this lawyer,” he told Akademiks. The 11-time Grammy Award-winner would take time out to write and then dedicate additional time for everything else that goes along with a new album.  

“I was like, ‘Oh this makes a lot of sense, because I’m tired as f###,’” he said with a laugh. “Since the day I came out, I just been running. No brakes, no watching this…money got f##### up.” 

Fetty Wap Talks Drake

Elsewhere in the interview, Fetty Wap revealed why he left Drake’s feature off the “My Way” remix on his debut album.  

“I was real big-headed, man. One thing about me at that time, nobody could tell me s###,” Fetty Wap said. “I felt like, I had a plan about how this s### was supposed to go. That was supposed to be Monty’s record, Monty’s breakthrough record.” Ultimately, his plan which he called an “alley-oop” failed to work. 

“The first and last time I spoke to Drake, he asked me to get on the song, that was it,” he explained. “Not even seen him in person yet.” Wap took responsibility saying it was “my fault” in the end but remains “mad as hell” about how things were handled. “Then when I didn’t put it on the album, [Drake] was probably like, ‘Who the f### he think he is?'” he said.

Nas has dropped his surprise album, “Magic” , his third collaboration with producer, Hit-Boy. 

While the nine-track project is a smaller offering than their King’s Disease releases, “Magic” more than makes up for it in quality. The only features come from A$AP Rocky and DJ Premier on the song, “Wave Gods.” 

Nas shared the release with his fans on Instagram proclaiming it, “Magic hour.”

Meanwhile, Nas and Jeezy discussed his 2006 album “Hip-Hop Is Dead” during a recent episode of “The Bridge: 50 Years Of Hip-Hop.” Nas received a lot of criticism fr the title, something he admitted he failed to see coming.  

“When he did Hip Hop [Is] Dead, I thought he was talking about us,” Jeezy said. “I wanted to be the front guy and say what I said. At the time, you gotta think, I’m just getting on. I’m just seeing my first legitimate money. I’m just getting my shows going. And then you got the Don in New York saying ‘hip-hop is dead!’”  

“I didn’t think about that part,” Nas replied. “I didn’t think that certain people would think I’m talking about them.” He added, “I’m talking about mainly New York! Mainly New York. I’m talking to everybody, but I didn’t explain it thorough enough.”

Tory Lanez Hands Out $100,000 In Gifts To Single Moms & Kids

Tory Lanez has taken some time out this holiday season giving out a cool $100,000 in gifts to single mothers and their kids in Florida. 

TMZ reports the “Say It” hitmaker played Santa in Broward County, Florida Wednesday (Dec. 23), personally handing out toys and clothing to those in need. The outlet says Tory spent $100,000 gifting families with a variety of toys from legos and barbies to lightsabers and bikes. 

Goodwill was the word of the day as Tory passed out snacks to the moms and the children, chatting with them while he worked.  

“We’re still battling a pandemic that’s left so many people between a rock and a hard place,” Tory Lanez told TMZ. “I’m just happy I can be a blessing to others and help them safely bring some joy back during the holidays.” 

Tory Lanez wished everyone a Merry Christmas declaring the event “a huge success.” He continued, “We’re happy that we could spread love and light to people who don’t have on Christmas day.” Speaking to the spirit of the season, Tory said, “I’m happy that my $100,000 could go towards something that’s more meaningful than a chain.” 

Tory donned a Santa hat and mask for the drive-through event where person-to-person contact was limited as much as possible. The event organizers prioritized safety with volunteers wearing PPE amid COVID-19 spikes.
