(AllHipHop News) M.I.A. has sent fans spiraling after insisting she’d choose death over a vaccine.

The outspoken “Paper Planes” hitmaker made it clear she’s anti-vaccination in a series of tweets during an online chat with followers on Wednesday, explaining she’s not a fan of any medication – even if it offers safety from the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.

“If I have to choose the vaccine or chip I’m gonna choose death,” she wrote.

“Most of science is in bed with business. Business is in bed with banks, banks are in bed with tech, techs in bed with us, we re in bed with corona. Corona is in bed with science. So on… the best is prevention.”

As followers expressed their disappointment with her anti-vaccine stance, M.I.A. continued: “In America they made me vaccinate my child before the school admission. It was the hardest thing. To not have choice over this as a mother. I never wanna feel that again. He was so sick for 3 weeks then Docs had to pump him with antibiotics to reduce the fever from 3 vaxins (sic).

“As an adult you have choice! By then you’ve built your immune system.”

M.I.A. then urged all her fans stressing out over the coronavirus pandemic to calm down and trust the vaccines they were given as a child.

“Don’t panic you are ok,” the Bad Girls star added. “You are not gonna die. You can make it without stressing the medical systems. Just breathe. You are going to be ok. You can make it through without jumping in the frying pan. You are fine. All the vaccines you ve already had is enough to see you through.

Scarface Gets Coronavirus

(AllHipHop News) Scarface had been complaining of a fever over a week ago but had formally announced that he has contracted coronavirus on fellow Geto Boy Willie D’s show, Willie D Live. 

Face told his friend, he said the he thought he was going to die.

“Like it’s the craziest s### I’ve ever done and seen in my life,” Scarface said. “I’ve been to the point where I just felt like I was going to die, bro. I threw up so much until it was just hot sauce. Like your gasses and the s### in your stomach, your acids. I didn’t have any food in my stomach. It was just coming up like bile bro. I couldn’t breath.

He said that he originally tried to get tested, but it was lost. He was re-tested and confirmed he had the virus.

The rapper detailed how coronavirus took over his body.

“It started off with pneumonia in both of my lungs and three or four days later my kidneys failed,” he continued. “Three or four days after that they told me I am quarantined.”I got to wait till it subsides to see what is going on with my kidneys.”

He has been forced to stay away from his family and friends.

“You can’t come visit me now, bruh,” he told Willie D.

The rapper refuted the assertion that celebs were being paid to say they have the virus. “Let me save your life,” he said, “This right there…don’t play no games with it.”

G-Eazy Launches Food Truck To Feed Thousands Of Teens In San Francisco

(AllHipHop News) Rap star G-Eazy is doing his part to help teens in the Bay area, who may be at risk of starving during the coronavirus pandemic. 

The rapper is putting his Endless Summer Fund to use in a partnership with Larkin Street Youth Services to provide a month’s worth of meals to at-risk youth in San Francisco. 

The rapper has set up a food truck for teenagers who cannot access Larkin Street Youth Services dropping sites, due to the shelter in place order in the state of California. 

“The Bay is my home and I want to help and support my community however I can, which is why I am partnering with Larkin Street Youth Services to provide meals to kids during this crisis,” said G-Eazy.

The food truck, Mi Morena, is serving lunch 7 days a week, working jointly with another non-profit, La Cocina.

La Cocina helps solve problems of equity in business ownership for women, immigrants, and people of color.

“We are all in this together and I hope others will join me in supporting our communities however they can,” G-Eazy added.

(AllHipHop News) Alicia Keys has stunned fans by revealing she considered terminating her second pregnancy in a new memoir.

The singer felt she wasn’t ready to become a mom again and thought about having an abortion in 2014, according to an extract from “More Myself,” obtained by the MailOnline.

“This is the worst time ever,” she recalled telling her doctor, explaining she was hard at work on her sixth studio album, Here, at the time.

“I’m working on my next album. My husband just got into Harvard Business School. And I’ve been drinking. A lot,” she said. “I left her office feeling so torn.

“The music I was creating felt more important and urgent than just about everything. I’d have to put off its (album) release for at least a year if I chose to have the baby.”

But her abortion thoughts were fleeting and while she was listening to a song she wrote with her producer husband Swizz Beatz days later she realized she was destined to become a mom again.

“While I was struggling over my choice, I went into the studio one evening and began listening to ‘More Than We Know,’ a song Swizz and I had written,” she wrote. “The lyrics are about how we’re capable of so much more than we can ever imagine. My eyes filled with tears. How could I take away the potential for this beautiful child. This light that could touch others in ways I couldn’t dream of.

“For me, the song was a powerful message that I should go on with the pregnancy.”

Her son, Genesis Ali Dean, was born in December, 2014.

(AllHipHop News) Rapper/actor LL Cool J has offered up his phone number to fans online to encourage the exchange of inspiring ideas and “lift each other’s spirits” while in isolation.

The “NCIS: Los Angeles” star is laying low at his California home during the coronavirus pandemic, and he wants to use the unexpected downtime to really connect with devotees – by inviting them to send over a text message.

In a video posted to Twitter on Wednesday, LL said, “I know times are real hard right now…, a lot of people have heavy hearts, going through a lot, so I’ve come up with this crazy idea for us to stay connected: I’mma give you my phone number.”

“Yeah, I know, it’s crazy…!” he smiled, as he continued, “Shoot me a text. If I have something I think inspires you, I’ll send it to you; if you have something that you think inspires me, send it to me, and let’s stay connected, lift each other’s spirits up.”

LL insisted no topic was off-limits as he provided his number and concluded: “Let’s connect… whatever you wanna talk about: classic hip-hop…, boxing, working out, whatever. Let’s kick it, let’s talk about it… One love, baby!”

British Grime Rapper Bugzy Malone Injured In Four-Wheeler Crash

(AllHipHop News) British grime star Bugzy Maline was reportedly seriously injured in a quad bike crash on Wednesday night.

The rapper was being filmed by friends in a car as he raced his bike down the road in Manchester, England.

However, after crashing into an Audi A4 car, the musician, real name Aaron Davies, was thrown around four meters from his vehicle, landing on the ground in a pool of blood.

Witness Waqas Mahmood was among those who rushed to help Malone, and told Britain’s The Sun newspaper: “He tried getting up and he couldn’t. It was his leg. He was bleeding from his head and his nose.

“He told me his name, he told me he was 29-years-old he told me where he lives. I asked him if he wanted to call anybody and he said yes, his partner. He unlocked his phone and I told her he had had an accident and it was not life-threatening and she could come down.

“She was there within 20 minutes. She was shocked.”

Once ambulances and police arrived, Malone was taken to hospital. His current condition is as yet unknown, but his music pals were quick to take to social media to offer the rapper their well wishes.

The grime star, who appeared in Guy Ritchie movie “The Gentlemen,” proposed to his girlfriend of nine years on a boat during a romantic trip to Paris last December.

(AllHipHop News) Kanye West has compared the backlash he’s experienced since voicing his support for controversial U.S. President Donald Trump to how he felt “as a black guy before I was famous.”

The 42-year-old rapper has been verbally abused on social media for backing the Republican politician and many of his unpopular policies.

And, reflecting on the response in an interview with WSJ Magazine, Kanye admitted it was one he had experienced before.

“I’m a black guy with a red (MAGA, Make America Great Again – Trump’s slogan) hat, can you imagine?” he mused. “It reminded me of how I felt as a black guy before I was famous, when I would walk in a restaurant and people would look at you like you were going to steal something. ‘This is your place, Ye, don’t talk about apparel. This is your place, Ye, you’re black, so you’re a Democrat.'”

Despite the fact he’s spoken of his admiration of President Trump on numerous occasions, Kanye told WSJ Magazine he doesn’t really follow politics and, in fact, isn’t even registered to vote.

As well as his controversial political beliefs, Kanye, married to Kim Kardashian, is famous for his drive in life – and has previously expressed an interest in running for president himself in the future.

But when it comes to what motivates him, the father-of-four doesn’t like to call it ambition.

“I do not like the word ambitious,” he insisted. “I’m Kanye West. The word ambitious is beneath my abilities. I’m just a doer. You can see in my eyes there’s not one bit of fear.”

Quarantined: Trick Daddy Losing It Over Not Going To Strip Club!

(AllHipHop Rumors) We are roughly in week 2 of the Coronavirus Quarantine and it is starting to get testy! I know I am going crazy! I am definitely not jail material, as Ice-T said. But, apparently, neither is Trick Daddy – the mayor of Miami! 

The rapper outlined why he is not cool with the coronavirus! It is very simple: the virus prevents him from getting to the strip club and partying.  I am thinking Trick needs to be grateful for being safe in the house with two phones fully charged, as he says it.

On top of that, and I think Trick is being funny, because he has lupus. Lupus is “is a long-term autoimmune disease in which the body’s immune system becomes hyperactive and attacks normal, healthy tissue.” I am hoping and praying that he will stay quarantined and healthy until this is over. 

Earlier this month, Trick said not only had the cure for coronavirus, he said don’t worry about it. “I got the cure for the coronavirus! All you got to do to avoid [it] is to drink you two Heinekens a day! The coronavirus doesn’t stand a chance!” He makes more sense than some of the stuff I see out there. All of this is CRAZY.

(AllHipHop News) Belcalis “Cardi B” Almánzar is currently practicing social distancing during the COVID-19 pandemic. Over the last several weeks, she has used her quarantine-time to speak to her 61 million followers on Instagram.

One of those IG posts featured the Invasion of Privacy album creator ranting about the spread of coronavirus and being afraid of contracting the disease. Brandon “iMarkkeyz” Davidson then took Cardi’s viral video (26 million views) and remixed it into a song named “Coronavirus.”

After making it into the Top 10 of the U.S. iTunes chart, iMarkkeyz’s “Coronavirus” is now also a Billboard-charting track. The song debuted at #9 on Billboard’s Rap Digital Song Sales chart. Plus, it landed at #13 on the R&B/Hip-Hop Digital Song Sales chart.

Both iMarkkeyz and Cardi B have pledged to donate proceeds from sales of  “Coronavirus” to help families facing financial troubles as a result of the COVID-19 outbreak. The remix sold 3,000 copies in its first week of release and totaled 626,000 U.S. streams in that timeframe.

(AllHipHop News) It did not take long for Joyner Lucas to see his name at the top of YouTube’s trending page. Yesterday, he released the new music video for “Will,” and it collected 3 million views in just 18 hours.

“#1 in the WORLD let’s go!!!!!!!!!!! @willsmith,” wrote Lucas on Instagram. The creative clip drew inspiration from the classic 1990s television show The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air which starred rapper-turned-actor Will Smith.

The “Will’ MV also shows Joyner dressed up as iconic characters from Smith’s motion pictures like Bad Boys, Men In Black, The Pursuit of Happyness, I Am Legend, and Aladdin. He ends the clip with a soundbite from his entertainment idol. 

Will Smith saw the visual tribute and responded to the Massachusetts emcee on his own IG page. Big Willie posted, “WOW!!! That’s Crazy! #Humbled @joynerlucas.”

(AllHipHop News) Boosie Badazz has been living his best x-rated life on social media as the world deals with the coronavirus outbreak. The Baton Rouge-bred rapper turned self-quarantine into a virtual strip club.

Several women went nude during Boosie’s Instagram Live broadcasts as part of his über-viral “Quarantine Day” celebrations. Apparently, Instagram took issue with the explicit content being presented on its platform and halted “Quarantine Booty Day (QTB).”

Run The Jewels Talk Working With DJ Premier & Greg Nice On New Single “Ooh LA LA”

(AllHipHop News) El-P and Killer Mike are back with the new record titled “Oh LA LA” featuring legendary Gang Starr producer DJ Premier and Nice & Smooth member Greg Nice. The critically acclaimed Hip Hop tag team, collectively known as Run The Jewels, discussed the new single with Apple Music’s Zane Lowe.

“Big shout out to Preemo because he made this whole sh*t happen. We hit him up, so we just want to thank him because he was super generous with it,” El-P told Lowe. “We hit him up. We were like, ‘We want you to be a part of this. We want you to do the cuts.’ For people who don’t know, that’s DJ Premier cutting at the end of it… We were so honored. Through [Premier], we hit Greg Nice, and Greg Nice loved the record.”

The NYC-bred producer/rapper continued, “Listen, Run The Jewels, we don’t intentionally do ‘old school music.’ To us, we’re just making dope ass new rap music. But our influences and who we are comes from an era that is very real and that we really agree on and there’s a feeling that comes from that era that we know exists, that if you can grab it and put it out there, then it’s undeniable.”

El-P also talked about how this was the first time the group had a “real budget to clear samples.” That is part of the reason why “Oh LA LA” was able to include elements of Gang Starr’s 1994 single “Dwyck” featuring Nice & Smooth. 

Killer Mike added, “It didn’t take much selling. I’m a Gang Starr diehard. So, when I heard it, it was all on. And Greg Nice, come on man. Nice & Smooth. F*ck out of here, man. It wasn’t hard to convince me. This is the basement party [song] right before everybody leaves or somebody gets beat up.”

“Oh LA LA” arrived after “Yankee and the Brave (ep. 4)” debuted on Instagram Live earlier this week. Both songs will appear on Run The Jewels’ forthcoming RTJ4 album. Killer Mike and El-P recorded most of the LP at Rick Rubin’s Shangri-La Studios in California and the iconic Electric Lady Studios in New York.

Lil Uzi Vert Surpasses Lil Baby For Most Hot 100 Chart Entries In 2020

(AllHipHop News) At this point, there is no doubt that Lil Uzi Vert is a music megastar. His Eternal Atake album has spent two consecutive weeks at #1 on the Billboard 200 chart with 288,000 units and 247,000 units amassed, respectively.

Uzi is also a juggernaut on the Hot 100 chart. All 18 tracks from Eternal Atake charted in its first week of release. Seven days later, he made history when all 14 tracks from Eternal Atake (Deluxe) – LUV Vs. The World 2 charted too. 

The Philadelphia native currently has 22 songs on Billboard’s rankings of the most popular records in America. So far in 2020, Lil Uzi Vert has seen 34 songs make it onto the Hot 100. He took the overall lead for the year, surpassing Lil Baby (19).

(AllHipHop News) Todrick Hall is slamming “self-absorbed” Kanye West after the full audio of his close friend Taylor Swift’s infamous 2016 phone call with the rapper is leaked online.

Kanye and the “ME!” hitmaker were embroiled in a feud after he and wife Kim Kardashian claimed that Taylor agreed to be called a “b##ch” in his 2016 song “Famous,” in which he raps: “I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex / Why? I made that b##ch famous G#######.”

But when the track dropped Taylor released a statement on Instagram, announcing in part: “You cannot ‘approve’ a song you haven’t heard,” and insisting she never approved the derogatory lyric. Kim then leaked a snippet of the phone call, suggesting that Taylor was fully aware of the song words.

However, a new and longer audio file now made public for the first time reveals no mention by Kanye that he was planning to call Taylor a “b##ch” nor claim he made her a star, and fans are racing to social media to slam the rapper and support the singer using the hashtag “#KanyeWestIsOverParty.”

Former “American Idol” contestant and “RuPaul’s Drag Race” star Todrick, who is close pals with the “Red” hitmaker, confesses he is furious after finally hearing the “manipulative” conversation in full.

50 Cent Could Face Lawsuit For Making Fun Of NYPD Cop On Instagram

(AllHipHop News) 50 Cent is getting sued over a domestic violence claim, but it is not what you think, because the rapper did not do anything violent to anyone at all.

It is quite the opposite.

Monday night, 50 made a post on his personal Instagram accusing NYPD Deputy Inspector Emmanuel Gonzalez of beating his wife.

While the post has been deleted, 50 Cent allegedly wrote in the caption: “He caught a DV domestic violence case he punched his wife in the face.”

According to the NYPost it is a claim that Gonzales has unequivocally denied and now Gonzales wants to sue for defamation of character.

Damn Daniel! What is the root of all of this?

50 and Gonzales have not liked each other for a minute, dating back to when the cop worked at the 72nd Precinct in Sunset Park.

During a meeting in June of 2019, instructed his cops to shoot 50 Cent “on sight” during their daily role call, according to sources.

The officer received backlash but did not lose his job. Instead, he was demoted not too long ago. 

Jussie Smollett Jokes About Being “Quarantined” Since “Hate Crime”

(AllHipHop News) Actor Jussie Smollett has returned to social media to share a song with fans in self-isolation amid the coronavirus chaos, joking he’s been in “quarantine” for over a year.

The former “Empire” star shared video footage of himself performing a cover of Stevie Wonder’s “A Place in the Sun” on Instagram on Wednesday, his first upload in over nine months.

In the accompanying caption, Smollett wrote, “Quarantine day 421…,” – marking the number of days he’s been lying low since claiming he had been the victim of a vicious hate crime attack in Chicago, Illinois on January 29th, 2019.

The 37-year-old, who remains accused of staging the incident for publicity, added, “Hope y’all are staying safe. Spread love and kindness… not Rona.”

Smollett initially faced multiple disorderly conduct charges after Chicago Police Department bosses alleged he had paid brothers Abel and Ola Osundairo to pull off the street beating, but the criminal counts were abruptly dropped by Cook County State’s Attorney Kim Foxx in March, 2019, with little explanation.

Special prosecutor Dan Webb was subsequently appointed to re-investigate the case, and six new felony counts of disorderly conduct were filed last month.

Jussie Smollett, who lost his job on hip-hop drama series Empire as a result of the scandal, has pleaded not guilty to the latest charges.

He has always maintained he is telling the truth about the attack.

So, Cardi brought up something that has been mentioned for a minute: that the rich and the celebs are getting tested WITHOUT SYMPTOMS….but we must wait until we are showing signs of coronavirus before we see a doctor. 

Cardi B is calling out this inequity and taking the conversation public. 

 “I wanna let these celebrities know, the confusion that the general public has…if a celebrity is saying I don’t have no symptoms…but I went and got tested and I got positive, that causes confusion. That makes people be like ‘wait a minute, I went out…I might just have it. I’m scared!”

“Let me tell you something. The general public…they’re not getting treated like celebrities. They’re not getting their f**king coronavirus results the next day. They’re telling people to go home and self-quarantine. Where do they think they’re sending people home to? Not everyone has the luxury of going to their f**king bedroom and to go in a big ass house and just stay away from people,” the “Bodak Yellow” rapper said.

Idris Elba, who has been diagnosed with coronavirus, lashed out at the Bronx rapper, calling her claims “bullsh*t.”

“I think the debate about rich and poor and who’s getting it and who’s not, I think, it’s not a healthy debate. I think that the negativity around test-shaming is counterproductive. I don’t see what people get out of that, and also this idea that someone like myself is gonna be paid to say I’ve got [the illness]. That’s absolute bullsh*t. Such stupidness.”

“People wanna spread that as if it’s news. That’s stupid. It’s the quickest way to get people sick because there’s no benefit to me and Sabrina sitting here saying we’ve got it or we ain’t got it. I don’t even understand the logic of that.”

Elba said all of this on his Instagram Live and also lobbied for all human beings, stating he was not an actor in this crisis. 

“I’m not an actor right now. I’m just a human being, and I just happen to be in the public eye. So I want people to understand that this is very real. I don’t feel like I’m privileged because I got a test, because I actually contracted it,” he said.

The almost-Black Bond never mentioned Cardi B’s name, but most consider his remarks to be a response.

(AllHipHop News) Instead of getting gifts for his birthday, Big Sean gave the world a gift.

Well, kinda.

On Wednesday, March 25, 2020, the Motor Town rapper celebrated his born day and dropped a trailer to announce his new record entitled, Detroit 2.

His fifth studio album will be named after his hometown and so it was endearing for the video to open up with the following: “Detroit. It’s home. But I feel like it’s more than just a city. It’s for real a mentality.”

Fans had anticipated a 2020 album for some time. Before it was suspected to drop in alignment with the Coachella Festival during the middle of April, but since that music experience was pushed back due to the coronavirus pandemic… he had to go to plan B.

Big Sean was gearing up for the announcement for some time. Last week on his recently premiered episode of “Hot Ones,” a most curious online show that lets artist pitch their projects if they go through a series of hot sauces on wings, the show’s host mentioned the name of the album.

Evans said of the new album, Detroit 2, that it will be released “very soon.”

In addition to the name of the album, he also talked about being signed to Kanye West’s G.O.O.D Music and some of the jobs that he worked before being the international star that we know.
