Jenn Carter Reveals How 41 Creates Hits By Dancing To Beats First

Jenn Carter’s perspective on the current state of drill music reveals a Brooklyn artist who has evolved far beyond the genre’s confrontational roots.

The 41 collective member recently sat down with AllHipHop to discuss her group’s upcoming debut album and why she’s moved away from the diss-track mentality that once defined the scene.

The Brooklyn rapper explained that her crew understood from day one they possessed capabilities extending well beyond drill’s narrow lane.

“We knew from the beginning we weren’t just drill artists. Drill was just what was popping at the time, but we always knew we could rap,” she stated.

This foundational mindset shaped how 41 approached their craft, allowing them to experiment with sounds that traditional drill purists might have rejected outright. What distinguishes 41’s approach is their willingness to blend Brooklyn drill’s aggressive energy with Jersey club’s infectious bounce.

The group discovered that when they encountered a beat with genuine commercial potential, their instinctive reaction was unmistakable.

“When we hear a beat that’s a hit, we just look at each other. If we dancing for five minutes before we even start rapping, we know it’s one of those,” Carter revealed.

This physical response to production became their internal compass for identifying tracks destined for club rotation and streaming success.

The group’s breakthrough came through records like “Deuce,” “Bent,” and “Presidential,” which demonstrated that drill could function as party music rather than purely as a vehicle for neighborhood conflict narratives.

These tracks proved that the genre’s sonic foundation could support celebration and joy without sacrificing authenticity or street credibility.

Carter’s stance on dissing represents a significant departure from drill’s traditional framework.

She views the practice of naming rivals in verses as creatively limiting and commercially counterproductive.

“For me, I really be saying no to it… that stuff really just so whack to me… especially like throwing people names in songs, that’s something I was just never comfortable with,” she explained.

41’s upcoming project, titled Area 41, arrives in April and promises to showcase the collective’s expanded sonic palette.

The album represents years of collaborative work by Carter, Kyle Richh, TaTa, and other crew members, who bonded during the pandemic as traditional opportunities disappeared.

Their formation story reflects a generation that pivoted toward creative expression when conventional paths seemed blocked.

King Harris Smoking 50 Mom Pack

King Harris escalated his ongoing feud with 50 Cent by promoting cannabis products branded with the late Sabrina Jackson on the packaging.

T.I.’s son posted videos showcasing “Ms. Jack Pack” products and directed followers to purchase them online, marking another escalation in the family’s battle against the Queens rapper.

“Heard Dey Got Da Ms Jackson OG Packs Out Here Fa 50… just hit \@ms.jacksoncandyshop AND THIS MF BLOWINGGG \@50cent you want some On Me.”

The conflict between the Harris family and 50 Cent blew up after the rapper posted controversial content targeting Tiny Harris.

In response, both King and his brother Domani released diss tracks aimed at 50 Cent.

King Harris unveiled “Made Man” in February, while Domani countered with “Ms. Jackson” that same month, both records directly referencing 50’s deceased mother, who died in 1983. King also followed up with another track filled with insults titled “Droptop.”

50 Cent has responded indirectly through social media posts and his “Power Origins” theme song without directly addressing King’s latest move.

T.I. acknowledged that while he felt King was justified in defending his family, he felt uncomfortable with his kids’ targeting of 50’s mother.

Nevertheless, the feud shows no signs of slowing down as both sides continue to exchange jabs through music and merchandise.

Shyne Has Been Quietly Working On Something Big

Shyne is officially ready to step back into the rap arena. Word moving through the Hip-Hop rumor mill says the Brooklyn-born Belize politician has quietly finished a brand new album, and if the whispers are accurate, this one could be serious.

Read up in his headlining show here: Shyne Announces Brooklyn Homecoming Concert

For those who have not been paying attention, Shyne has been steadily rebuilding his musical momentum while balancing his life in politics. The former Bad Boy star has spent the last few years representing Belize while also teasing that he never truly walked away from rap. Now it looks like the music side of his life is finally catching up with the political one.

Sources say the new project is either complete or extremely close. Even more interesting is the reported list of collaborators involved. The production side allegedly includes heavy hitters like Timbaland and Polow Da Don, two producers who know a thing or two about crafting major records. Their presence alone signals that this is not some casual comeback attempt. This is a power house return.

View this post on Instagram

Then there is the unexpected name floating around the rumor circuit. Tru Life. The New York rapper who once made noise in the streets and in the industry has reportedly been working alongside Shyne as well. Details on how involved he is remain unclear, but the possibility alone has fans raising their eyebrows.

This update also connects to a recent moment on AllHipHop. Just weeks ago, we sat down with Shyne for a wide ranging conversation where he opened up about new music and his evolving perspective on life and leadership. That interview hinted that something substantial was in the works. At the time, the details were still under wraps. Now the puzzle pieces seem to be coming together.

And there may be more than just one album in the pipeline. According to chatter moving through industry circles, Shyne has secured a deal that includes major label distribution and potentially spans three albums. If that proves accurate, it means the man is not just testing the waters. He is planning a full return.

Add to that a scheduled tour appearance where he is reportedly set to headline, and suddenly the comeback looks very real.

Shyne’s story has always been one of the more complicated chapters in Hip-Hop history. From rising rap star to incarceration, from exile to political leadership in Belize, his journey has been anything but predictable. Now it appears the next chapter could bring him back to the microphone in a major way.

Rihanna’s Home Shot Up With Her Inside, Suspect Busted

Rihanna had a terrifying afternoon at her Beverly Hills residence when a woman opened fire on the property on Sunday.

Law enforcement sources confirmed that a female suspect in her thirties drove near the home and discharged multiple rounds toward the structure.

The singer was inside the residence at the time but remained unharmed, and no injuries were reported from the incident.

Police arrived quickly and took the suspect into custody without further complications.

According to TMZ, the motive behind the attack has not been determined. This incident adds to a troubling pattern of security breaches at the Bajan artist’s properties over the years.

In 2018, a man named Eduardo Leon broke into her Hollywood Hills mansion and spent approximately twelve hours inside the home while she was away. Leon faced felony charges, including stalking, burglary, and vandalism, for that intrusion.

The same year, her residence was burglarized a second time, raising serious concerns about the property’s security measures.

Beyond the break-ins, Rihanna’s homes have experienced multiple other security incidents.

Strangers have shown up at her gates, prompting security teams to contact law enforcement. A false alarm at one of her Pacific Palisades properties prompted police to respond, though no actual threat materialized.

These repeated incidents demonstrate the ongoing challenges celebrities face protecting their residences and families.

Unlike earlier incidents involving individuals attempting to enter the property, this event involved someone firing a weapon from a vehicle.

The fact that A$AP Rocky and their three children, RZA, Riot Rose, and Rocki, may have been present during the incident adds another layer of concern to the situation.

Rihanna’s representatives have not yet commented on the incident or provided additional details about the family’s safety.

Obama Trashes Trump & Republicans At Jesse Jackson Memorial Service Prompting Right-Wing Meltdowns

Three former presidents gathered in Chicago on Friday to honor the legacy of Rev. Jesse Jackson, but it was Barack Obama’s remarks that carried the weight of the moment.

Speaking at the House of Hope on the Far South Side, Obama delivered a pointed critique of the current political climate without ever mentioning Trump by name, using Jackson’s life as a blueprint for resistance and hope.

The atmosphere inside the 10,000-seat venue was electric. Thousands filled the space to celebrate Jackson’s life, with Jennifer Hudson performing and Biden, Clinton, and Harris all in attendance.

But Obama’s words cut through the reverence with urgency. He painted a picture of a nation under siege.

“We are living in a time when it can be hard to hope,” Obama said. “Each day we wake up to some new assault to our democratic institutions. Another setback to the idea of the rule of law, an offense to common decency. Every day you wake up to things you just didn’t think were possible.”

The former president wasn’t subtle about the source of that despair.

“Each day we are told by folks in high office to fear each other,” he continued, referencing Republican leadership’s divisive rhetoric. The implication was clear: Trump’s administration had weaponized fear as a political tool.

But Obama’s eulogy wasn’t just criticism. It was a call to action rooted in Jackson’s example.

“This man, Reverend Jesse Louis Jackson, inspires us to take a harder path. His voice calls on each of us to be heralds of change, to be messengers of hope, to step forward and say, ‘Send me,’ wherever we have a chance to make an impact,” Obama declared.

He recounted watching Jackson debate during the 1984 presidential campaign as a college student, describing how that moment showed him that outsiders could belong anywhere.

Obama’s personal connection to Jackson ran deep. Jackson’s willingness to challenge power had paved the way for Obama’s own rise.

Now, with democracy under pressure, Obama was invoking that same spirit of defiance.

The message was unmistakable: Jackson’s fight wasn’t finished. It was being passed to the next generation.

Nicki Minaj Tells Women To Be Mean And Selfish On International Women’s Day

Nicki Minaj encouraged women to reject perfection and embrace their authentic selves on International Women’s Day by sharing a message about rejecting societal expectations.

The rapper posted a statement that challenged traditional notions of femininity and strength, telling women to prioritize their own happiness over conforming to others’ standards.

Rather than offering traditional inspiration, Nicki encouraged women to embrace selfishness, humor, and boundary-setting as forms of liberation.

“I’m not going to write something about how strong and resilient you are because most of the time you shouldn’t have to be,” Nicki wrote. “Today, instead of being perfect, I’d rather you laugh at the mean joke, put your foot out and trip someone walking by, order food for yourself and eat it in front of hungry family members, block people mid text, listen to people’s problems then just say ‘oh ok’, play your favorite song all day, admire your beauty inside and out.”

International Women’s Day, observed annually on March 8, originated in 1911 to commemorate the labor movement and women’s rights activism.

The day was established to recognize women’s achievements and advocate for gender equality, drawing inspiration from early 20th-century protests by female garment workers demanding better working conditions and voting rights.

Nicki’s message arrived amid ongoing controversy surrounding her vocal support for War-Happy Donald Trump.

The rapper has faced significant backlash from parts of her fan base after appearing at a Trump administration event and declaring herself the president’s “number one fan.”

At a Washington, D.C. event for the POTUS’ “Trump Accounts,” Nicki stated: “I am probably the president’s number one fan and that’s not going to change. The hate or what people have to say, it does not affect me at all. It actually motivates me to support him more.”

The pressure from detractors has not deterred her commitment.

Nicki has consistently maintained that backlash only strengthens her resolve, refusing to distance herself from Trump despite the controversy surrounding his policies and rhetoric.

Despite being kind of negative, her International Women’s Day message resonated with the Barbz, who appreciated her candid approach to female empowerment.

Nicki’s International Women’s Day post generated thousands of shares and comments from supporters who felt validated by her message about rejecting perfectionism.

Naughty By Nature Star Treach Attacks Son-In-Law After Egypt Criss Ring Disaster

Treach unleashed fury on his daughter, Egypt Criss’s husband, Samuel Wright, after she took a brutal knockout loss to Olympic champion Jade Jones during a Misfits Boxing event in Derby, England, on Saturday (March 7).

The legendary Naughty by Nature member didn’t hold back when addressing the situation on social media, posting a scathing message that revealed his deep concerns about Wright’s influence over his Egypt Criss, her boxing career and personal life.

“To My Darling Daughter Egypt Pt.1, When you Marry a Clout Chasing Clown like this that Brainwashes you to take care of him & to have him to train you & Set you Up what did you expect I LOVE YOU, As far as him& The Team around you Yall Put my Daughter in Harms way THAT B#### CARMA COMES BACK QUICK, You Reap What You Sew!!” Treach wrote in his Instagram post, making his position crystal clear about Wright’s role as her trainer and husband.

https://www.instagram.com/p/DVow8oNEkH\_/?hl=en&img\_index=1

The knockout itself was absolutely devastating.

Jones, a 2-time Olympic gold medalist in taekwondo, transitioned to boxing and made an immediate statement in her debut. The finish was one of the most brutal knockouts in Misfits history.

Jones set up the knockout with a straight left hand, then followed with a looping left hook that caught Egypt Criss directly on the chin, sending her face-first to the canvas in the second round.

Beyond the Instagram caption, Treach also posted an unflattering image of Samuel Wright alongside his written statement, making his disdain for his son-in-law abundantly clear to his followers.

The photo choice added another layer of disrespect to an already scathing critique of Wright’s character and judgment.

Egypt’s boxing debut turned into a cautionary tale about mismatched opponents and questionable training decisions amid the rise of celebrity boxing matches.

Treach Sounds Off After Daughter Egypt Criss Suffers Brutal Knockout In Boxing Debut

Here we go.

Keeping it real with y’all. This is exactly what I was waiting for. I wanted to hear what Treach had to say after his daughter stepped into the ring and suffered a brutal knockout.

If you watched the fight, you already know the moment was tough to see. Egypt Criss, the daughter of Treach of Naughty By Nature and Pepa of Salt-N-Pepa, was knocked out in the second round of her boxing debut. The loss came at the hands of Jade Jones, a two-time Olympic gold medalist in Taekwondo who recently transitioned into professional boxing.

Pepa was in attendance and even got highlighted by the broadcast as a celebrity guest during the event. But once the bell rang, the tone quickly changed. Jones wasted little time asserting her dominance, flooring Egypt with a series of powerful left hooks before the fight was stopped in the second round.

View this post on Instagram

Many observers say the matchup never made sense in the first place.

Egypt was essentially a novice stepping into a combat sport against an elite athlete with decades of high-level experience in martial arts. That is a dangerous gap in preparation and competition.

Before this fight, Egypt had been calling out Chrisean Rock, another celebrity who has flirted with boxing. Instead, she found herself across the ring from a decorated Olympic champion. That jump in competition proved costly.

Treach did not hold back when he addressed the situation publicly. He posted a message directed at his daughter and the people around her:

“To My Darling Daughter Egypt Pt.1, When you Marry a Clout Chasing Clown like this that Brainwashes you to take care of him & to have him train you & set you up what did you expect? I LOVE YOU. As far as him & the team around you, y’all put my daughter in harm’s way. That karma comes back quick. You reap what you sow.”

The image below is not her, but him…the husband.

View this post on Instagram

That is clearly a father speaking from emotion.

The message also suggests Treach believes Egypt’s husband and those advising her played a role in pushing her into a fight she may not have been ready for.

Once 50 Cent began commenting on the situation online, it felt like the moment crossed fully into the social media spectacle that surrounds celebrity boxing these days. What should have been a sporting event quickly became another viral talking point.

To Egypt’s credit, she looked confident before the fight. She stepped on the scale strong, posed proudly, and appeared to be in excellent physical condition. But physique alone does not replace years of combat experience, especially when facing someone who has already dominated at the Olympic level.

That raises a bigger question about how this fight was sanctioned.

Combat sports are supposed to protect fighters, especially inexperienced ones. Putting a beginner in the ring with someone who has spent decades competing at the highest level of martial arts raises legitimate concerns.

In some ways, the second-round knockout may have actually prevented something worse. If the fight had gone longer, Egypt could have taken far more punishment.

So, let us shift the spotlight to the people who helped organize the bout and whether better judgment should have prevailed before the contracts were signed.

Why This Fight Drew So Much Attention

Celebrity boxing and crossover fights have become increasingly common over the past decade. Influencers, musicians, and athletes from other sports have all stepped into the ring, often drawing huge online audiences. However, the sport still relies on commissions and sanctioning bodies to approve matchups and maintain fighter safety.

Lil Jon is preparing to return to the stage this summer after laying his son to rest in February.

The crunk pioneer will perform at Sweetland Amphitheatre in LaGrange, Georgia, on Saturday, June 13, 2026.

This marks a big moment for the Atlanta legend as he moves forward following the tragic loss of his son, Nathan Smith, professionally known as DJ Young Slade.

Nathan went missing on February 3 and authorities discovered his body in a pond near his Milton, Georgia, home on February 6.

The Fulton County Medical Examiner ruled the death an accidental drowning. According to reports, the 27-year-old had ingested psilocybin mushrooms at the time of his death.

Lil Jon laid his son to rest on February 19, 2026, the first day of Ramadan.

After the funeral, he shared a heartfelt tribute on social media, writing “Life Will Never Be the Same Without You” alongside photos of Nathan.

The Sweetland Amphitheatre concert series announcement came on March 6, 2026, featuring a diverse lineup including ZZ Top, Wilco, Scotty McCreery, Tucka, Men at Work, Colt Ford, and Del McCoury Band.

Sweetland General Manager Brent Gibbs told reporters that Lil Jon’s appearance represents the venue’s commitment to bringing major Hip-Hop talent to the region.

“Lil Jon is kind of a phenomenon with some huge songs that have really broad appeal, and we believe that, specifically, the citizens of LaGrange are going to rally around that show. We should see a really amazing night,” Gibbs said, according to LaGrange Daily News.

The crunk legend helped define Hip-Hop in the early 2000s with his production work and collaborations.

His return to performing represents a powerful statement about resilience and moving forward through unimaginable pain.

Seeing Lil Jon step back into his career after such a profound loss shows the strength of the human spirit and his commitment to honoring Nathan’s memory through his art.

Zohran Mamdani Endures Racist Attacks From MAGA Nuts As Chaos Erupts At Gracie Mansion

Zohran Mamdani faced a chaotic scene outside his official residence when far-right extremists and counter-protesters clashed near Gracie Mansion on Saturday.

The racist chaos resulted in six arrests and the discovery of two suspicious devices.

The incident underscores the mounting hostility directed at New York City’s first Muslim mayor since taking office.

The confrontation erupted when members of a far-right anti-Muslim group gathered to demonstrate against Mamdani’s administration. Counter-protesters quickly mobilized to oppose them, and tensions escalated rapidly.

According to CBS News New York, the situation deteriorated when someone from the anti-Islam contingent deployed pepper spray into the opposing crowd, triggering a violent response that drew law enforcement intervention.

Two suspicious devices containing bolts and screws were ignited during the melee, prompting the NYPD Bomb Squad to respond.

The discovery forced evacuations and sent people running through the streets as officers secured the area. Six individuals were taken into custody in connection with the incident, though charges were still being determined as of Saturday evening.

Manadani’s ascent to City Hall represents a historic milestone for New York City, but it has also made him a target for those opposed to his progressive platform and Muslim faith.

Before entering electoral politics, Mamdani built a following through his work as a rapper and activist, blending Hip-Hop culture with social commentary.

His musical background as Young Cardamom and later as a recording artist gave him credibility within communities often overlooked by traditional politicians.

The racism and Islamophobia directed at Mamdani intensified following his election victory.

According to reporting from Al Jazeera, his administration has faced coordinated campaigns of hate speech and discriminatory rhetoric from various extremist factions.

Mamdani has responded by emphasizing his commitment to public safety and community protection, refusing to be deterred by the hostility.

Mamdani’s presence as a Muslim leader in one of the nation’s most prominent municipal positions has become a flashpoint for those seeking to weaponize identity politics.

Dwight Howard Is A Coke Head Says Wife, Who Shows Massive Bag Of Drugs During Sad Video

Dwight Howard is facing a public drama after his wife, Amy Luciani, went live on social media in tears, claiming Child Protective Services removed their daughter from their home.

Luciani said authorities visited their residence three times in less than three months before taking the child away.

She held up a massive bag containing a white powder, claiming it belonged to Howard and represented the substance destroying their marriage.

“I’ve been trying to tell everybody, he needs some help,” Luciani said in the emotional video. “Nobody wanted to listen because he’s got the money. I live with him, and he needs some help.”

Luciani claimed Dwight Howard coached their 12-year-old son to lie to authorities and that she recorded this coaching for protection. She insisted she sought no financial compensation after their brief marriage and reconciliation attempt.

The former NBA All-Star married Luciani in January 2025, but their relationship deteriorated rapidly.

She filed for divorce roughly six months after their wedding, and a mutual restraining order followed shortly after.

Royce Reed, mother of Howard’s oldest son, responded online to Luciani’s allegations, dismissing her claims while recalling her own lengthy custody battles with the eight-time NBA All-Star.

Reed has publicly accused Dwight Howard of sexual and physical abuse over the years.

Their custody disputes have been contentious, with Reed previously claiming Howard abused their son with a belt. The two have battled repeatedly in court over their child’s welfare and support.

The latest drama adds to Howard’s complicated personal history involving allegations about his sexuality that have surfaced publicly over the years.

In 2024, a Georgia man named Stephen Harper dropped a sexual assault lawsuit against Howard after the former player’s attorneys alleged Harper deleted text messages proving an encounter they had was consensual.

The lawsuit stemmed from an alleged incident at Howard’s residence in Georgia in July 2021.

Harper dismissed the case with prejudice, meaning he cannot refile it.

Howard’s legal team argued the missing messages showed Harper consented and planned to “expose” Howard after the athlete stopped responding to his advances.

CPS has not publicly commented on the case or confirmed details about its involvement with the family.

Tasha K Launches GoFundMe Campaign Seeking $3.5 Million From Supporters

Tasha K is turning to her supporters to help cover a massive financial obligation stemming from her legal battle with Cardi B.

The blogger launched a GoFundMe campaign seeking $3.5 million to settle the judgment against her, marking a shift in how she’s handling the debt.

The fundraiser represents a change of heart for Tasha K, who previously believed paying the judgment was her sole responsibility.

“For years many of you have asked me to start a fundraiser to help me pay off the judgment against me. I always refused because I believed it was my responsibility to handle it on my own. But after many conversations with you all, I’m finally listening,” she explained to her supporters.

The underlying legal dispute traces back to 2022, when a federal jury found Tasha K liable for defamation, invasion of privacy, and intentional infliction of emotional distress.

The case centered on allegations that she’d spread false claims about Cardi B’s personal life. Despite appealing the verdict and filing for Chapter 11 bankruptcy, Tasha K remains obligated to pay the full amount.

Currently, Tasha K contributes $20,000 monthly toward the judgment from her own resources. She emphasized that this commitment will continue regardless of how much the GoFundMe raises.

“I don’t have $3.5 million sitting in cash, but with the help of my community we can accelerate paying this off so I can finally move forward and focus on creating, reporting, and entertaining without constant interruption,” she stated.

The legal proceedings haven’t stopped despite her consistent payments.

“Even while making my payments, creditors can still bring me back to court for examinations and filings,” Tasha K noted, highlighting the ongoing financial and legal strain she faces.

In March 2025, Tasha K and Cardi B’s legal teams reached a settlement establishing a structured payment plan.

The agreement required Tasha K to refrain from making further negative statements about Cardi B online and to provide periodic financial disclosures.

Cardi B’s legal team continues monitoring the payments through court filings and has requested detailed financial documentation from the blogger.

Meanwhile, Cardi B has moved forward with her personal life, recently welcoming a child with New England Patriots wide receiver Stefon Diggs and finding massive success with her album Am I The Drama? and her sold-out “Little Miss Drama” tour.

Papoose Disses 50 Cent In “Many Men” Freestyle

Papoose is back.

And 50 Cent is right there with him – again. The Brooklyn lyricist has brought beef with the daylight savings time. And of course, the internet is eating it up.

Pap jumped on the instrumental for 50 Cent’s classic “Many Men,” recording a quick freestyle straight from his car. Papoose took several direct shots at the G-Unit General.

View this post on Instagram

50 Cent’s former partner Daphne Joy caught a not-s-stray shot. Pap also threw shade at 50’s career trajectory after Get Rich Or Die Tryin’, while even clowning the style and legacy of G-Unit. I think this is the time to step back for those that have not been here for a few.

Earlier this year the two had already started the year off with that bizarre wave of AI-generated videos mocking each other. I that was crazy and pretty sad considering the new year had just started.

But if Papoose expected a lyrical response, he he’ll be waiting for a while.

50 Cent seemed to address the situation, but not with raps. On Sunday, March 8, he posted a photo of himself on Instagram with a caption that made it clear where he stands.

View this post on Instagram

“Im sorry no response to r#trded a rappers who can’t write a hit to save their lives, moving right along short bus shorty. LOL.”

At least he’s watching, right? I guess.

50 Cent has his hands full with a bevy of diss records coming from T.I. and his camp. This is the most surprising rap beefs in a long minute…and 2026. Where are the country music beefs? We need some rock beefs! Damn.

‘Haley!’: California woman meets man at University of Arizona event. Then she realizes he’s been texting with ‘her’ nonstop for a week

A University of Arizona student sparked online concern after claiming she met a stranger at a party who had been texting her impersonator for more than a week.

On Feb. 28, Haley Dekreek (@haleydekreek) posted a TikTok explaining a startling interaction with a man who suddenly began calling out her name as if they already knew each other. “I walked into the pregame last night, and immediately when I get there, this guy is yelling my name,” says Decreek.

What Made This Particular Interaction So Alarming?

She states that she assumed the man had mistaken her for someone else. But when he approached her directly, it became clear he believed they had already met.

She recalls asking the man questions to clarify where she might have met him. “And I’m like, ‘I’m so sorry, I don’t know who you are,'” she adds. “’What’s your name again? Did we meet?’ And he’s like, ‘Don’t do that to me.’”

She says the man started referencing conversations they had supposedly had over text. “He pulls out his phone, and it literally says my name,” she says. “And I’m scrolling, and it’s days and days, over a week’s worth of text messages that he was having with ‘Haley,’ and it obviously wasn’t me.”

According to Dekreek, the man said he got the number through TikTok, something that Dekreek states had occurred before. She says someone has been repeatedly impersonating her on TikTok, stealing her videos and messaging people while pretending to be her. In some cases, the impersonator has even shared a phone number and carried on conversations with people who believe they’re talking to the real person.

“I literally had to tell him, ‘That’s not me. I’m so sorry. That’s a person impersonating me,’” she says.

She says that she has reported multiple impersonation accounts and managed to get some taken down, but new ones keep appearing. She additionally adds that many of these fraudulent conversations are explicit in nature.

Is This Form of Identity Impersonation Common?

Cases like this are part of a much larger and increasingly common category of online impersonation. According to the Federal Trade Commission, impersonation scams are now among the most frequently reported types of fraud in the United States.

In 2023 alone, the agency received more than 330,000 reports of business impersonation scams and nearly 160,000 reports of government impersonation scams, together accounting for roughly half of all fraud reports submitted to the FTC. Reported losses from these scams topped $1.1 billion that year.

While many impersonation schemes involve scammers posing as companies or government officials, the same tactics increasingly appear on social media, where fake accounts mimic real people. Researchers note that impersonators often copy profile photos, repost videos, and contact followers or strangers while pretending to be the original user. A 2025 survey from the Pew Research Center found that 73% of U.S. adults reported experiencing at least one type of online scam or cyberattack. Many of these cases involved hacked accounts, fraudulent messages, or identity impersonation.

AllHipHop reached out to Dekreek for comment via TikTok direct message and email. We will update this story if she responds.

Nas Unreleased 1998 Track With D-Dot Resurfaces, Sparkes Talk Of Vault Music

Nas unreleased music rumors have resurfaced after a newly surfaced 1998 track produced by legendary Hitmen producer D-Dot began within the last week.

The track, reportedly titled “High,” was produced by Derrick “D-Dot” Angelettie and dates back to 1998, a pivotal moment in Hip-Hop history. Greats like DMX, Lauryn Hill, Big Pun, Juvenile and more emerged with landmark releases. While the song never officially surfaced during that era, its existence has been known through the years. Many wondered immediately what the Queensbridge lyricist could have waiting in the archives.

Nas is no stranger to revisiting his vault. The rap icon previously delivered two installments of The Lost Tapes, projects that gathered previously unheard recordings from earlier periods of his career. Both releases were praised for giving listeners access to songs that might otherwise have remained buried.

Now the resurfacing of the D-Dot collaboration has renewed talk that there could be even more unreleased work from that era. D-Dot, widely respected as one of the most influential producers associated with Sean “Diddy” Combs’ famed Hitmen production collective, was deeply embedded in the late 1990s Hip-Hop sound.

Nas remained a dominant voice in rap at the time, despite the influx of newer acts. Other artist, like DMX, have additional vaults as well. The idea that more unreleased material from that era exists is hardly far-fetched given the sheer volume of recordings artists.

Parents Appeal $1 Billion Lawsuit Over Kendrick Johnson’s Gym Mat Death

A federal court has terminated a billion-dollar legal action filed by the parents of Kendrick Johnson, the Georgia teenager whose remains were discovered inside a rolled wrestling mat at his high school gymnasium in January 2013.

The dismissal came down on Monday, with the judge citing multiple grounds, including immunity protections and procedural violations.

Johnson’s parents, Kenneth and Jacquelyn Johnson, initiated their federal complaint in 2023 and subsequently amended it multiple times to include various defendants.

The case named the Georgia Bureau of Investigation, Lowndes County, the school district, the Valdosta-Lowndes Regional Crime Lab, newspaper publisher CNHI, and Gray Media as parties to the action.

The circumstances surrounding Johnson’s death have remained contentious for over a decade.

When his body was discovered at Lowndes High School in Valdosta, authorities initially characterized the incident as accidental.

The official investigation concluded that Johnson had climbed atop the wrestling mats, reached into an opening to retrieve a shoe, accidentally fallen inside, become trapped, and suffocated.

However, the family has consistently disputed this narrative.

The medical examination process became a central point of contention.

The initial autopsy performed by the GBI’s medical examiner determined that Johnson died from accidental positional asphyxiation, noting “no significant injuries.”

The family obtained an independent autopsy that revealed evidence of blunt force trauma, contradicting the official findings. A third autopsy later aligned with the original conclusion.

The Johnson family’s legal team argued that the initial GBI autopsy included unnecessary incisions designed to conceal injuries and that Johnson’s body was returned to the family without his brain and internal organs.

Additionally, they contended that law enforcement failed to properly preserve the crime scene and that the coroner reported a “very poor to worse” investigative climate upon arrival.

In 2021, Lowndes County Sheriff Ashley Paulk reopened the investigation following public pressure.

His 2022 synopsis reaffirmed the accidental death conclusion, stating that Johnson had climbed onto the mats, reached for his shoes, and became trapped.

Paulk expressed confidence in the findings, declaring, “I feel 100% sure there was no foul play.”

Kenneth and Jacquelyn Johnson filed an appeal to the dismissal on Wednesday, signaling their determination to continue pursuing the case through the appellate process.

Women find something suspicious after digging in the ground at their VRBO: ‘I looked up finger mushrooms and this looks too real’

An English summer vacation in Cotswold, Gloucester, took a briefly macabre turn for TikTok creator Skye Davis (@arsenicperoxide) when she and her sister discovered what they were convinced was a human finger on the grounds of their VRBO rental property.

In the video, Davis and her sister are poking around at what definitely looks like an old finger. It looks like it was detached from a body recently buried in a shallow grave.

“Guys, we think we found a finger,” she says.

The caption reads, “This summer at our vrbo in Gloucester my sister and I were taking a walk around the property when we found this, you can’t tell me that’s not a whole finger.”

This video got over 22 million views, and people believed what they saw.

“Everyone saying it’s a finger mushrooms, but that 100% looks like a real fingernail,” wrote one person. Another person on the finger mushroom tip wrote, “I looked up finger mushrooms and that is NOT a finger mushroom! That’s an actual finger!!!! I need to know more!”

VRBO Finger Find: Well… Actually

In a subsequent video, she explains the revelation. She says they went into her rental excited, telling their cousin that they believed they had found a finger. Davis’ cousin rains on their macabre parade.

He pokes around and picks up what isn’t flesh at all. Turns out the “finger” is a root.

The funny thing is that a few people in the comments section were fully convinced. One person wrote, “Yeah, but why is there a perfect size, shape, nail?” Another commenter said, “Yea no i dont believe it, it lit looks like a finger and a finger bone … it even has the bone structure at the very end.”

Another commenter mentioned a Japanese anime, “Jujutsu Kaisen,” writing, “That might be Sukuna’s finger.”

Per the show’s wiki page: “Ryomen Sukuna’s Fingers are twenty special grade cursed objects created by Kenjaku from the King of Curses, Ryomen Sukuna‘s fingers. Using these fingers, the Heian Era curse user was able to live on after his death, eventually reincarnating through Yuji Itadori over a thousand years later.”

In the series’ lore, Sukuna turned himself into a cursed object, or many, because his energy and soul were split up into his twenty indestructible fingers.

Where Is This Again?

Davis was near the Cotswolds, near the site of a notable annual event. The Cooper’s Hill Cheese-Rolling and Wake is a dangerous annual tradition in Brockworth, Gloucestershire. Participants chase a seven-pound wheel of Double Gloucester cheese down a steep 1:2 gradient hill. It’s an event for masochists, since many of the competitors even end up with injuries, some severe.

All of that for a wheel of cheese.

AllHipHop reached out to Davis for more information. The article will be updated upon a response.

Dr. Dre Joins Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis For Global Hunger Relief Anthem

Dr. Dre, Jimmy Jam, and Terry Lewis orchestrated a global music movement that proves artificial intelligence can serve humanity when wielded responsibly.

The trio produced “Someday Has Begun Part I,” a humanitarian anthem designed to mobilize resources for the 100 Billion Meals Challenge, which aims to feed 280 million people facing starvation across the next decade.

The production methodology represents a fundamental shift in how charity music gets made.

Jimmy Jam emphasized that the project remains fluid and evolving.

“This is a living, breathing thing that will continue to morph with new musical contributions while being a conduit to encourage financial contributions to feed the world,” he stated.

The production prioritized accessibility for artists, removing friction from the submission process.

Rather than gathering dozens of artists in a single studio, the team leveraged distributed recording technology to collect contributions from Stevie Wonder, Janet Jackson, Jon Bon Jovi, Chris Martin, H.E.R., Teyana Taylor, and more than 40 additional musicians worldwide.

Artists submitted vocals through voice notes, piano parts via video recordings, and guitar solos captured on personal devices.

This decentralized approach eliminated logistical barriers that would have prevented international participation.

The iHeart Theater hosted a live foundational session where Michael McDonald and Aloe Blacc will.i.am, Siedah Garrett, Taylor Dayne, and Giveon recorded the core chorus. Viewers accessed the session simultaneously through Zoom, creating real-time transparency around the creative process.

The entire production became documentary material, capturing how modern technology democratizes artistic collaboration.

AI functioned as a production tool rather than a creative replacement.

The software isolated vocals from background noise in video submissions, extracted guitar solos from voice note recordings, and aligned timing across disparate audio sources.

Jimmy Jam worked in Logic Pro while other contributors used their preferred digital audio workstations.

Everything eventually moved to Pro Tools, where Dre completed the final mix. This workflow respected each artist’s creative autonomy while enabling seamless integration.

Chris Martin submitted a piano part via voice note, which Jam and Lewis time-aligned and positioned after the bridge, layering children’s voices underneath.

Grace Bowers recorded her guitar solo on video, which producers isolated and embedded into the track.

Jon Bon Jovi sang over the piano track that Jam and Lewis sent him, allowing them to remove the instrumental and preserve only his vocal.

The 100 Billion Meals Challenge, co-founded by Tony Robbins and Nobel Peace Prize recipient Governor David Beasley, has already delivered 62 billion meals since its inception.

The organization targets vulnerable populations across the United States and globally, addressing the reality that one child dies from hunger-related causes every ten seconds.

Warner Music’s AI Revolution demonstrates how the industry increasingly embraces technology to expand creative possibilities.

This represents AI’s legitimate value when deployed ethically, respecting intellectual property while amplifying creative reach.

‘I have been gate keeping this for years’: North Carolina woman goes to Planet Fitness. Then she reveals how to use the HydroMassage chairs without a Black Card

A North Carolina influencer goes to Planet Fitness to reveal how to use the hydro chairs without a Black Card membership. Viewers tell her it’s not that secret or that effective a hack. Here’s why.

TikTok creator Brittany (@ohhsoyourbrittany_) posted a video with her “secret” on Jan. 9. “Listen, if you don’t have a black card membership but you still want to use the HydroMassage chairs at Planet Fitness, let me show you a secret,” she says.

The video cuts to Brittany in one of the massage chairs. HydroMassage chairs use water to massage users. It is supposed to stimulate blood circulation, reduce inflammation, and promote relaxation.

“Alright, guys, as you can see, I’m where the HydroMassage chairs are, and this is what you do,” she says. “You go to the login screen, and you type in these numbers … And boom, now you can enjoy a free massage.”

Viewers React to the North Carolina Woman’s Planet Fitness HydroMassage ‘Secret’

In the comments section of the video, viewers reacted to Brittany’s decision to not only use the hack but also share it on a public platform.

“They can see you did that from the front desk,” wrote one viewer. Brittany replied, “Oh really?”

A second person said, “Everything doesn’t need to be posted on the internet. They will change this.”

A third person said, “Just pay the $5 extra a month and be done with it.” Someone else said, “I’m a Planet Fitness employee. Definitely do this at your own risk. It would be chaos, though. People have reservations and are waiting in line.”

Another employee pointed out, “Those codes are different at every club.”

This Isn’t the First HydroMassage Code Leak

Planet Fitness Black Card membership holders can use the HydroMassage chairs at no additional cost. The base membership fee is $15, and the Black membership is generally $25 per month.

The kiosks generally require a token, sign-in credential, or front desk activation. Because Planet Fitness employees have access to a code they can input into the kiosk to get the machines started, occasionally, one of the codes pops up online.

Last year, a member posted to Reddit’s r/PlanetFitnessMembers asking who was giving out the codes and reporting that it could cause an issue for the next person in line. “I often have to ask a PF employee to restart a massage chair because it is sometimes used by someone that has the code and it doesn’t work properly after they leave,” the person wrote.

The person said they asked an employee about another member who was allegedly using an employee code. “So I ask if there are no consequences to using a code and [the employee] tells me she’s made a note because they come in often,” they wrote. “My question. Who’s giving out the code?”

One employee wrote in to say it has consequences for staff. “When I see my codes posted anywhere I change them,” they wrote. “It’s so inconsiderate and makes staff get yelled at when we assign someone to a chair and someone is in it and they shouldn’t be. Just go to the desk and do it like you’re supposed to.”

AllHipHop contacted Brittany via TikTok comment and direct message for comment. We also contacted Planet Fitness via email for comment. We will update this story if either party replies.

Lil Poppa Honored By Fans And Family At Jacksonville Funeral Service

Lil Poppa was laid to rest in Jacksonville on Saturday as hundreds gathered at Shiloh Metropolitan Baptist Church to pay respects to the 25-year-old rapper who took his own life in Georgia last month.

The service marked the end of a brief but impactful career that resonated with listeners nationwide through his emotional storytelling and melodic trap sound.

Friends, family, and supporters filled the church on West Beaver Street for the public funeral, which was also livestreamed on the artist’s YouTube channel so fans unable to attend could participate in the final farewell.

The atmosphere reflected the weight of losing someone so young, with attendees sharing memories of a rapper who connected deeply with his community through music that explored pain, struggle, and resilience.

The rapper’s journey in Hip-Hop began in 2018 when he released his mixtape Under Investigation, establishing himself as a voice for his generation.

His breakthrough came in 2022 when he signed with Collective Music Group, the label founded by Yo Gotti.

That partnership elevated his profile and led to projects like Almost Normal Again, which showcased his ability to blend vulnerability with hard-hitting production.

According to First Coast News, the funeral service drew crowds who wanted to honor the artist’s legacy and support his family during this difficult period. Security was strictly enforced throughout the event to maintain order and respect for those grieving.

Lil Poppa’s music resonated with listeners because it reflected his lived experience.

His collaborations, including work with Polo G on tracks like “Eternal Living,” demonstrated his range and ability to connect with other artists who shared his artistic vision.

Jacksonville’s music scene lost one of its brightest emerging talents, but Lil Poppa’s recorded work ensures his voice will continue reaching listeners for years to come.
