Metro Boomin Blasts 21 Savage For 5th Grade Spelling Bee Story: “Lookin’ For A Lie To Tell”

Metro Boomin isn’t convinced that the grade school claim to fame 21 Savage recently gushed about in an interview actually occurred the way he recounted it.

On Wednesday (January 24), the multi-platinum producer trolled his frequent collaborator by reposting a clip from his conversation with Shannon Sharpe for his Club Shay Shay podcast. In particular, Metro appeared to take issue with 21’s claim that he won both his school-wide spelling bee and math competitions in fifth grade.

“We was just talking about this last night,” 21 Savage said. “We was playing the game, and they was like, ‘Umm spell supercalifragilisticexpialidocious,’ and it was crazy because I won the spelling bee in fifth grade spelling that same word, and I won the math competition that same year too.”

Metro Boomin actually called 21 out about the claim in a video response of his own, which he shared in a tweet he wrote, “Knowledge is power.”

Metro further criticized 21 Savage in the caption: “You probably read 3000 books a year too huh @21savage,” before ripping into him in the video he shared.

”Salute Uncle Shay Shay on the podcast man, but, n###as sit on his couch and just feel like they could say anything,” he said. “Look at this n###a just looking, lookin’ for a lie to tell—look at this,” he said in the clip. This n###a Sid he won the spelling bee in fifth grad spelling supercalifragalisticexpialadoscious.”

Termanology Introduces New ST. Records Artist Nim K. With Jake One-Produced Single

Veteran East Coast MC/producer Termanology has signed Nim K. to his ST. Records label. To commemorate the occasion, Term and the Boston-based artist have dropped her first single off her upcoming untitled album, “Living My Best life.” The The duo expertly trade bars over a silky Jake One-produced beat, lending a certain mood to the ethereal track.

“I knew Nim K. was special when I found out she was doing three shows a night, in different venues with wardrobe changes and all,” Term tells AllHipHop. “That was something that really stuck out to me and made me want to work with her. I love the fact that she has her own style. She raps with a unique cadence and sings beautifully as well. Being versatile like that really has it’s advantages, so I think that could take her far in today’s industry.”

Tory Lanez Quickly Ghosts Fan Group Chat After Sending Prison Thank You Message

Tory Lanez has become a trending topic following a bizarre exchange with his followers in a fan group chat. On Wednesday (January 24), screenshots of a message thread between Lanez and a group of his followers who had previously created an Instagram chat with him began circulating online.

Based on the brief exchange in the thread, the Canadian crooner appeared to address the Instagram users out of the blue, without previously being warranted. In his initial message, Lanez appeared grateful for the continued support of the individuals in the chat despite his incarceration.

”All the Goats in here I see,” Lanez wrote in his initial greeting. “I be seeing y’all post like crazy s### be killin me dawg [crying laughing emojis]. Appreciate y’all for real.”

It appears as though the moderators of the discussion may have gotten carried away and forced Lanez into a premature exit after one of the users asked how he got a phone in jail in the first place.

”That‘s my Que I’m out,” he wrote before vanishing like a thief off in the night.

Lanez was sentenced to 10 years in prison in August 2023 for shooting Megan Thee Stallion and is currently housed in Delano. Check out the hilarious and brief exchange below.

Snoop Dogg’s Daughter Provides Encouraging Update Following Her Stroke

Snoop Dogg’s daughter Cori Broadus is heading home from the hospital after suffering a stroke. Broadus updated fans on her health in an Instagram Stories post on Wednesday (January 24).

“My ct scan of my chest came back normal and I’m going home today,” she wrote. “I can prolly cry omgggg thank you thank you for the continuous prayers, love, etc.”

Broadus revealed she suffered a stroke on January 18. Snoop Dogg’s daughter said she started crying when doctors told her what happened.

“I’m only 24 what did I do in my past to deserve all of this,” she wrote last week.

Snoop briefly spoke about his daughter’s recovery at the premiere of his movie The Underdoggs on Tuesday (January 23).

“She’s doing a little bit better,” he told PEOPLE.

Snoop was asked if his daughter’s stroke put life in perspective for him.

“Yeah, yeah,” he said. “Something like that.”

Snoop attended The Underdoggs premiere a few days before the film’s January 26 release on Amazon Prime Video. The famed rapper portrays Jaycen “Two Js” Jennings, a washed-up football star coaching a Pee Wee team, in the movie.

Drumline and Paid in Full filmmaker Charles Stone III directed The Underdoggs Snoop stars alongside Tika Sumpter and Mike Epps.

Snoop’s movie isn’t the only sports-related project he’s involved in this year. He will also be part of NBCUniversal’s coverage of the 2024 Olympics in Paris.

“I grew up watching the Olympics and am thrilled to see the incredible athletes bring their A-game to Paris,” he said. “It’s a celebration of skill, dedication and the pursuit of greatness. We’re going to have some amazing competitions and, of course, I will be bringing that Snoop style to the mix. It’s going to be the most epic Olympics ever, so stay tuned and keep it locked.”

21 Savage Movie Isn’t Real

Donald Glover and Caleb McLaughlin will not star in the 21 Savage biopic because the film doesn’t exist. 21 Savage revealed his American Dream movie trailer was strictly part of his album promotion in an appearance on Shannon Sharpe’s Club Shay Shay podcast.

“Nah, that was a parody,” he said when Sharpe mentioned the movie.

Sharpe asked if 21 Savage ever wanted to make the film a reality. The Slaughter Gang rhymer liked the idea, but he thought the general public would initially reject it.”

“I feel like it could be one day,” he said. “They’ll hate it on now though. ‘Cause they gonna be like, ‘What the f### 21 Savage deserve a story for, a movie ‘bout him for? What he did?’ You know how they do.”

Later in the conversation, 21 Savage discussed his love of R&B. Sharpe inquired if the rapper would ever make an R&B album.

“With me singing?” 21 Savage responded. “Hell nah, man! I’d have to go get a vocal coach. I love R&B though. I listen to that s### more than anything. I don’t even listen to rap like that.”

But 21 Savage had visions of curating an R&B album. He named Beyoncé, Usher and many more artists as people he’d like to work with on such a project.

“Summer Walker, that girl – she hard as a m########### – Coco Jones, H.E.R.,” he said. “I’ma go get Avant wherever he at. We gonna get the boy Joe. We gonna see where Joe at.”

He continued, “K-Ci and JoJo. I’ma go get Jagged Edge. I’ma bring them back together. I’ma go get SWV, get them to come back out. I love Kut Klose. If they still somewhere singing, I’ll get Kut Klose … I’ll probably make the hardest collaboration R&B album of all time if I could just get all them artists.”

Yung Esckimo is here to inspire and motivate the masses all around the world. Hailing from the Washington Heights neighborhood of Manhattan, the rising star fondly remembers falling in love with music at the age of nine. Thanks to his first album, 50 Cent’s Get Rich or Die Tryin’, Yung Esckimo was empowered to memorize all the lyrics and perform them in front of the mirror before eventually rapping them during lunch at school.

Yung Esckimo claims he’s “the coldest trapper in the city.” He adds, “[I’m] really the most inspirational and motivational artist that the youth or anybody that’s going through tough times and hardship should tap in with.”

A post shared by THEREALYUNGESCO (@yungesckimo)

Through his upbringing in New York, Esckimo always carried a hustler mentality that bled into both his personal and professional life. Priding himself in making music that’s authentic to him, it wasn’t long before his song “Never Broke Again” would light the streets on fire, serving as his first record to reach one million streams.

Fast forward to 2024, Yung Esckimo is excited as ever to be unveiling his newest EP, Blue Magic. The project is spearheaded by lead singles “The Code” and title track “Blue Magic.”

AllHipHop spoke with Yung Esckimo virtually, who was posted up in Atlanta after enjoying the food at Magic City. Read below as we discuss his background, new releases, the meaning behind Blue Magic, studio essentials and more.

AllHipHop: How would you describe your sound?

Esckimo: It’s definitely inspirational. It’s a breath of fresh air, it’s brand new. I don’t sound like anything out on the market right now.

AllHipHop: Being from Washington Heights, what was that like growing up?

Esckimo: It was tough. It was hard. It turned me into what I am today. Washington Heights is a mixture of all blacks, Hispanics. Anything you looking for, you can find in Washington Heights.

AllHipHop: What was the moment you fell in love with music?

Esckimo: I fell in love with music young, when Get Rich or Die Tryin’ came out. As soon as I put that 50 Cent tape in, it was over. I was hooked.

AllHipHop: Favorite 50 Cent song?

Esckimo: Prolly “Many Men.” “Many Men” for sure.

AllHipHop: At what point did you realize you could do music for a living?

Esckimo: When I hit my first million views. I knew alright, maybe I could turn this into a profession. “Never Broke Again” by Yung Esckimo, go stream that now!

AllHipHop: How does it feel to hit those numbers independently?

Esckimo: It felt amazing. The fact that they used it for the NBA Finals was really a special moment.

It definitely kept me wanting to keep going. It felt exquisite.

AllHipHop: How did you get your name?

Esckimo: Growing up in Washington Heights, my friends used to call me Escko. The Eskimo just came from all the ice and all the extra curricular activities that we had going on.

AllHipHop: Were you hustling? How were you getting this paper?

Esckimo: Of course man, we hustling in all ways and forms. I was 12, 13 years old. When they had them summer school job programs, I was hustling. We started from nothing, we started from zero. I’ve been hustling all my whole life to be honest.

AllHipHop: You just dropped “The Code,” what were you on recording this one?

Esckimo: “The Code” is doing immaculate as well. A lot of the culture and a lot of the youth have lost the codes that we came up on, and the value of certain things. I wanted to implement this song called “The Code” to give the youth a certain guidance. We live by a certain code, we move a certain way. It’s really the code to life when you think about it.

AllHipHop: Where’d you shoot the video?

Esckimo: I shot the video in different parts. I shot some of those scenes in the Bronx, I shot some of the scenes in Harlem. I shot some of the scenes in Jersey, all over the city.

AllHipHop: What is the code?

Esckimo: It’s the code of life. It’s living by a certain code, living by a certain standard. You heard the song. They not living by the code anymore, so they gotta get in tune. Never give that money to — you know what I’m saying? Make sure you got that money for that lawyer tuck, that’s part of the code baby.

AllHipHop: What can we expect from Blue Magic dropping?

Esckimo: What you could expect from Blue Magic is the harsh reality of the things that we gotta go through in life to be successful. It’s more of a breakdown of how hard things could get, but it’s also inspiring and motivational for you to keep going and see that there is a light at the end of the tunnel. That’s what Blue Magic is.

AllHipHop: Is that name significant?

Esckimo: It came from American Gangster, the movie. From Frank Lucas, Blue Magic was what he used in order for him to get to the top. But I’m giving you Blue Magic from Yung Esckimo, what Yung Esckimo used to get to the top. It’s in my own way.

AllHipHop: Talk about launching your own label, SCAM.

Esckimo: Success Comes After Manifestation is what it stands for. I’m launching my own label because I felt there’s a lot of artists and there isn’t enough CEOs in the game, that’s able to put young artists and young entrepreneurs in position to win. I wanted to create a platform that one day, it’ll be big enough in order for me to bring out the next artists and the next generation that’s coming up behind me.

AllHipHop: What’s the “Money Talk”?

Esckimo: It’s that money talk! Baby we don’t do drill, we let the dummies talk. The music I make is more of a motivational music for you to want to be successful. For you to want to reach certain limits and certain goals in life. The youth is rapping about drill drill drill. Not that there’s nothing wrong with it. If you’re an artist and you getting paid, you made a name for yourself, God bless. But you gotta understand that as an artist, you’re putting out a message. And the youth takes that in like a sponge, they trying to do what you do because you’re a role model. So “Money Talk” is more we don’t do drill, we let the dummies talk. $200,000 on me, that’s that money talk. I’m trying to guide you in an entrepreneurship way. Get that money. Forget about that drilling and killing, let’s get to the money. Let’s get to the generational wealth.

AllHipHop: 3 things you need in the studio at all times?

Esckimo: I need the temperature to be right so the vocals can be right, I need the coldest beverage on the planet, and I need Alpha and we ready to go.

AllHipHop: Best encounter you had with the fan?

Esckimo: Matter of fact, I was coming home from the airport here in Atlanta, I had a gentleman that was working in the airline that recognized me. He said, “Yo Yung Esckimo, I follow you on the Gram. It’s a pleasure to meet you.” That was a good feeling because I feel I’m spreading out into other other states and all that. Coming from New York.

AllHipHop: Any goals for yourself at this point in your career?

Esckimo: Definitely, I have several goals. We definitely want to make the right impact. We definitely want to start packing out arenas and certainly shows, but we take the right steps in order to get to where we going. But definitely, we got a whole bunch of goals in tact.

AllHipHop: Who’s your dream collab?

Esckimo: My dream collab will probably be Jay-Z, coming from New York City. But being a rapper in the 21st century, I might want to throw Lil Baby in there as well.

AllHipHop: So $500,000 or dinner with Jay-Z?

Esckimo: It’s that “Money Talk!” Let me get that money [laughs]. Listen, Jay-Z told me to pick the money. He said, “Listen. If you want the game, go get all the albums for $10.99 and I’ll give you the game that you need. Take the money.”

AllHipHop: Anything else you want to let the people know?

Esckimo: Blue Magic coming soon. Maybach & Millions out now, go download that. Go stream that. We definitely got a couple surprises for y’all coming in 2024. Stay in tune with the brand, SCAM Inc. Yung Esckimo, and we coming.

Travis Scott Shock Drops Fan-Favorite “I KNOW?” Video Starring Emily Ratajkowski & Amok Yai

Travis Scott has recruited supermodel and podcast host Emily Ratjkowski to star in the striking visual for the UTOPIA track “I KNOW?”

On Tuesday (January 23), Scott jumped on both Instagram and Twitter to announce the release of the video, following an apparent hiccup in the release. Shot at what appears to be the Cactus Jack rapper’s sprawling SoCal mega-mansion, the Dave Meyers and Scott-directed video captures the pair passive aggressively seducing each other while performing everyday tasks around the house. However, things take a turn when model Amok Yai crashes the party.

Meek Mill Dragged On Twitter After $250K Feature Rate Compared To Future & More

Meek Mill can’t seem to catch a break following his recent Africa music streaming blunder, considering now fans are criticizing his feature rate.

On Tuesday (January 23), Meek got lit up by countless Twitter (X) users after he seemingly initiated the conversation about feature rates. Meek actually laid out his rates in a short tweet outlining his preferred workflow when it comes to arranging and taking payment for features.

”Every time I do a verse I charge 250k and up if you got 150k on sight and I like the song we can swap it outtt!!!!” Meek wrote.

Pretty much immediately after Meek dropped the tweet, people began to blow the thread up—making the Philadelphia lyricist a martyr in the process.

“Every time rappers post their feature prices like this publicly I be feeling like they just saying the one price they were able to get a label to pay for one time,” one user remarked while another suggested, “He’s saying his wish list price he’d take 50k right now and that high for him.”

Other users were simply just not convinced that Meek’s verses could cost a quarter of a million dollars.

”What you saying that cost $250K? Lol,” as another user added, “After back 2 back you should be charging 10K THE most.”

At one point, folks really started trolling Meek and bartering with his prices by offering absurd forms of payment.

”I got some wing stop coupons and jewelry that turn your neck green. What can I get?” someone offered, while another proposed, “Can i get a verse and I’ll pay installments for 250,000 years?”

Things got really dicey once rap Twitter got involved and started comparing the data with other rapper’s feature rates.

“Is this why Meek hasn’t done a feature since 2022? Meek charging the same amount as $250k – Lil Durk $250k – Future $250k – Snoop. Future feature a bargain at $250k,” they wrote in a tweet.

Rick Ross’ Ex Claims He Slept With Keyshia Ka’oir While Gucci Mane Was In Prison

Rick Ross and Tia Kemp’s online drama took a turn, dragging Gucci Mane and his wife into the mess. Kemp accused Gucci’s wife Keyshia Ka’oir of sleeping with Ross while Gucci was in prison.

“Gucci Mane, he f##### Keyshia Ka’oir while you was in prison,” Kemp said. “I seen her pulling out from his studio house in that Rolls-Royce she was driving. It was a white one. This the truth though, allegedly, and it’s the truth. I ain’t gotta lie. Lie detectives pay me. It’s going to be in the book. I don’t give a f###. They can’t sue me. I ain’t lying. That girl better go prove to her husband and Rozay that I’m telling the truth. ‘Cause he told me he done f##### all these n#####’ hoes.”

Kemp also targeted Rozay’s ex Lira Galore. Kemp claimed Ross and Meek Mill took turns having sex with Galore.

“Go back to that hoe Lira Galore,” Kemp said. “She was laughing at me with his baby mama and them too when it was her too. I want her too … Meek then y’all ‘choo choo choo’ on that hoe too. Meek Mill, you and Rozay and them, I heard.”

Kemp unleashed the wild accusations after clashing with Ross and his current girlfriend Cristina Mackey on social media. Kemp threatened to slap Mackey and expose Rozay’s alleged medical conditions. Ross fired back on Instagram.

“Tia’s sister Ebony, she told me about that botched surgery,” he said. “But you going to get over it, you gonna heal. I ain’t gonna lie, we laughed about it for a little while.

He added, “Every time you get on TikTok, I know you see a new release from Tia. But listen, we all gotta imagine what she’s going through. She’s going through a lot. Her mother, who’s a 30-year recurring crack addict, she’s back addicted. Tia’s dealing with it … So that’s why you won’t see me cut her IG page off or none of that because you gotta let her express herself.”

T-Pain Reveals Why His Michael Jackson Collab Got Shelved

A leak ruined T-Pain’s opportunity to work with Michael Jackson. The singer/songwriter recalled how one person prevented the world from hearing him collaborate with Jackson in a clip from T-Pain’s Twitch streams.

“We were about to listen to a song that I wrote and produced that was meant for me, Usher and Michael Jackson,” he explained. “And then the person that was in charge of doing the references and the person that sang it got too excited and was like, ‘N####, I’m on a song with Michael Jackson and Usher and T-Pain.’ And then he released it. And then Michael Jackson was like, ‘Nah, never mind. I don’t wanna do it anymore.’”

The leaked version surfaced online more than 15 years ago. Jackson was missing from the track, which featured a portion with no vocals where the King of Pop’s contributions were meant to be.

T-Pain didn’t get to make a song with Jackson, but he received a ringing endorsement from another legend in the music industry. Earlier this month, Ozzy Osbourne praised T-Pain’s cover of Black Sabbath’s classic song “War Pigs.”

“This is the best cover of ‘War Pigs’ ever,” Osbourne wrote on X (formerly known as Twitter). “Why didn’t you guys call me?”

T-Pain responded, “You’re always invited. Top of the list, every time!! Thank you so much. Means a lot coming from the greatness himself.”

The next day, T-Pain reflected on Osbourne’s approval. The hitmaking artist was honored Osbourne liked the cover version so much.

“First thing I said was ‘wow,’” T-Pain wrote. “This is an honor and the greatest form of validation. Thank you brother @OzzyOsbourne.”

T-Pain covered “War Pigs” and more on his latest project On Top of the Covers, which dropped in 2023. He released a live performance of the songs a week before Christmas.

EXCLUSIVE: Kodak Black Won’t Be Released From Jail Anytime Soon

Kodak Black will remain behind bars for at least another four weeks. According to court documents obtained by AllHipHop, the final hearing regarding the revocation of Kodak Black’s supervised release was held before Judge Jose E. Martinez on Monday (January 22). But Martinez needed more time to make a decision and therefore rescheduled the final revocation hearing to February 21, meaning the troubled rapper must stay put.

Kodak Black’s attorney, Bradford Cohen, filed a motion asking a Florida judge to dismiss the charges earlier this week. Cohen claimed prosecutors wrongfully charged Kodak with possession of oxycodone. Cohen said Kodak had a prescription for the powerful painkiller and urged a judge to reconsider.

The Pompano Beach native was originally charged with cocaine possession after his December 2023 arrest. The responding officer allegedly discovered a “white chunky substance” while searching Kodak Black’s vehicle. A field test allegedly indicated the powder was cocaine, but prosecutors didn’t move forward with the cocaine charge. Instead, they charged Kodak with oxycodone possession on January 8. His attorney criticized authorities via social media on January 9.

“As stated when this new case first was filed, this was not cocaine and the officer was lying about his observations,” Cohen wrote on Instagram. “We finally got the lab report…its oxycodone that Kodak had a prescription for and not an illegal substance. Knowing that the officer substantially misrepresented his observations, the Broward State Atty Office still filed the charge. Unbelievable and it will not be tolerated. This level of abuse of power by the arresting officer is disgusting. We will be seeking a new bond hearing and addressing these unethical practices by the police department.”

Kodak, whose legal name is Bill K. Kapri, was placed in federal custody for violating his probation. He remained on probation after former president Donald Trump commuted his sentence in 2021.

Lil Wayne Claims Drake Gets Hate For Being Light-Skinned

Lil Wayne’s musical family tree contains two of the biggest superstars of the 21st century. The Young Money boss helped introduce Drake and Nicki Minaj to the world.

Despite his undeniable success, Drake continues to face criticism in certain Hip-Hop circles. Lil Wayne appeared on The Richard Sherman Podcast. Sherman questioned the Undisputed sportscaster about the negativity directed at his protégé.

“Why they be hating on Drake like this? That’s what I don’t understand,” the five-time NFL Pro Bowler asked Lil Wayne on the show. The five-time Grammy Award winner responded, “He’s red, he’s light-skinned.”

Wayne also said, “That’s just American history. How I know is, because I’m not light-skinned and I hated on all the light-skinned dudes in school. So yeah, that’s American history.” Weezy and Sherman then laughed.

Drake’s skin complexion and biracial identity have played a role in the Canadian’s legacy. His longtime rival, Pusha T, made those topics a central theme in the scathing “The Story of Adidon” diss track.

“Confused, always felt you weren’t Black enough. Afraid to grow it ’cause your fro wouldn’t nap enough,” Pusha T rapped on the 2018 record. Plus, “The Story of Adidon” cover art featured an actual photo of Drake in blackface.

Drake was also in the news over the last several days after Mos Def (aka Yasiin Bey) suggested the OVO Sound founder makes pop music suited for Target stores. The For All the Dogs album creator fired back at Bey for his comments.

Stephen A. Smith Wants To Debate Donald Trump: “I’d Eat Him Alive”

Stephen A. Smith has built a multi-million-dollar brand as a sports television personality known for embracing debate. The star of ESPN’s First Take would like to try his oratory skills against the former President of the United States.

During a recent appearance on The Howard Stern Show, Smith discussed his political affiliation. The conversation also included the broadcaster expressing his desire to go head-to-head with Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump.

“I’m a registered Independent. I’m not enamored with either candidate,” Stephen A. Smith told Howard Stern. When asked if he would ever make a run for the White House, Smith replied, “Hell no… I’m not giving up my quality of life to earn $400,000/year and be stressed every day.”

Former President Donald Trump leads the 2024 Republican primary race with 31 delegates. Former South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley has 16 delegates. Incumbent President Joe Biden is expected to win the 2024 Democratic nomination.

Even though he has no interest in being America’s Commander In Chief, Stephen A. Smith made it clear he wants to be part of a presidential debate. The native New Yorker said, “I’d eat him alive. I wouldn’t run for the presidency but I’d debate Trump any day of the week.”

Donald Trump won the Republican New Hampshire primary on Tuesday (January 23) after also claiming a victory in the Iowa caucuses on January 15. In addition, Joe Biden won New Hampshire’s unsanctioned Democratic primary with a write-in campaign. His name did not appear on the ballot.

Meek Mill Claims To Charge At Least $250K Per Feature Verse

Meek Mill has appeared as a guest on songs by N.O.R.E., DJ Khaled, The Game, Mariah Carey and many more. According to the Philadephia-raised MC, artists have to put up a six-figure sum for his vocals.

This week saw Meek Mill share some behind-the-scenes information with his 11.3 million X (formerly Twitter) followers. The “Ima Boss” hitmaker revealed his feature rate on the social media platform.

“Every time I do a verse I charge 250k and up if you got 150k on sight and I like the song we can swap it outtt!!!!” the 36-year-old rapper tweeted on Tuesday (January 23). That post collected over 230 replies and more than 3,000 likes.

Meek Mill did not make it clear if he charges longtime collaborators like Rick Ross for a feature verse. The two Maybach Music Group representatives have collaborated on numerous songs over the last 15 years.

Ross and Meek joined forces again for 2023’s Too Good to Be True joint studio LP. That project also contained contributions from Fabolous, Wale, French Montana, Future, Shaquille O’Neal, Dame D.O.L.L.A. and others.

Meek Mill has not dropped a full-length solo album since 2021’s Expensive Pain. That same year, he appeared on projects by Young Thug & YSL (Slime Language 2) as well as Lil Durk & Lil Baby (The Voice of the Heroes).

Hours before posting the tweet about his feature rate, Meek teased the release of his “Cold Hearted 3” song. The original “Cold Hearted” featuring Diddy lives on 2015’s Dreams Worth More Than Money album. “Cold Hearted II” is part of the tracklist for 2018’s Championships.

YFN Lucci Apologizes After Taking Plea Deal In RICO Case [VIDEO]

YFN Lucci (born Rayshawn Bennett) learned his fate in a RICO case in Georgia. The Atlanta-born rapper received a 20-year sentence after pleading guilty to one count of violating the Street Gang Terrorism and Prevention Act.

A judge granted YFN Lucci time served and parole eligibility in about three and a half months. The 32-year-old “Everyday We Lit” performer will also remain on probation for 10 years.

Prosecutors accused Bennett of being a member of the Bloods street gang. Additionally, the state charged him with felony murder. The prosecution eventually dropped 12 of 13 counts, including the murder charge.

YFN Lucci addressed the public on Tuesday (January 23). The Ray Ray from Summerhill album creator offered an apology to the victim’s family during the court hearing.

“First off, I wanna say my heart goes out to my friend, James Adams, and his family. Also, I wanna apologize to my family and my friends for putting them through this stressful process,” YFN Lucci said. “I would also like to apologize to the court. That’s it.”

Lucci’s defense attorneys, Drew Findling, Gabe Banks and Marissa Goldberg, issued a statement to ABC News. The lawyers insisted their client would not cooperate in any other case.

“After three years of pretrial litigation, more than two weeks of jury selection and three years of incarceration waiting for his jury trial, today, the prosecution finally relented and dismissed the murder and RICO charges against Rayshawn Bennett,” YFN Lucci’s legal team stated.

Jess Hilarious Blasts DJ Envy & Charlamagne Tha God Over Comments About SZA

Jess Hilarious did not hold back her thoughts about a specific segment on The Breakfast Club. The internet personality called out the Power 105.1 show’s DJ Envy and Charlamagne Tha God.

A recent episode of The Breakfast Club included DJ Envy and Charlamagne Tha God comparing two R&B songstresses. At one point, Envy called SZA this generation’s Mary J. Blige.

That comparison did not sit well with Jess Hilarious. The part-time guest host for The Breakfast Club wrote on her Instagram Story, “These n##### trash. Envy shut up!”

She continued, “I know artists be p##### when old heads do this [because] now everybody negatively comparing SZA and MJB and it ain’t even her fault! She has her own identity already.”

Jess Hilarious temporarily took over the third seat on The Breakfast Club after Angela Yee left the program in 2023. Rumors suggested Hilarious would become the permanent replacement but iHeartMedia has yet to announce a new co-host.

Charlamagne Tha God publicly complained about not having another person for The Breakfast Club. When asked about Jess With The Mess possibly getting the gig, Charlamagne said, “I don’t know, I don’t know, I don’t know. But I’m not happy. We’ll find out soon enough though.”

Jess Hilarious appeared on several editions of The Breakfast Club over the last few months. The Baltimore native helped interview celebrities like Sexxy Red and regularly presented the “Rumor Report” on-air.

Kanye West Directs Paparazzi During Private Photoshoot With Bianca Censori

Kanye West has made headlines for posting very racy photos of his wife Bianca Censori, but he had something very different in mind when he invited paparazzi for a recent impromptu photoshoot.

Over the past few weeks, Ye has shared multiple risqué images of Censori on Instagram. While the former Yeezy architect is fully clothed in some photos, others show her nearly nude, displaying her bare cheeks in multiple images.

However, Kanye West had an alternate vision when he asked photographers to capture Bianca Censori. He stepped outside a Los Angeles studio to invite the waiting paparazzi to take pictures of his wife, who was waiting inside.

Censori, donning a matching oversized furry coat and hat, stood in the center of the studio as Ye directed the impromptu session. He gave them specific instructions, and told them what he wanted in shot.

“Babe, walk towards us,” Kanye West urged Censori before asking if she was willing to have her face photographed.

Paps snapped away for a few moments until the G.O.O.D. Music founder ushered them back outside. “Don’t put the ones I don’t like,” he added.

West shared a photo of his wife in the oversized get-up on Instagram. He captioned it “DRY,” and posted the pic alongside a video of Censori in a wet-look white tee captioned “WET.”

Meanwhile, Kanye West has recently come under fire for his own controversial attire. He was slammed online for wearing the shirt of a Neo-Nazi, church burning, death metal rock act amid rumors he’s set to issue an extended video apology to the Jewish community for his antisemitic remarks.

Blueface Denies He’s In Protective Custody: “I Will Never Ever Go To PC”

Blueface is adamantly denying rumors that he’s currently housed in protective custody amid reports he’s living it up behind bars.

In his latest update call from jail the MILF Music founder addressed the reports but insisted, “You will never catch me,” in protective custody (PC).

Putting it on his set, Blueface declared, “I will never, I repeat I will never ever go to PC.”

Meanwhile, earlier this week, TMZ reported Blueface has his own cell and other benefits at the Los Angeles County Sheriff Men’s Central Jail, where he’s serving time for violating his probation.

According to the outlet, Blueface is staying in the “administrative segregation area,” and is not housed with other inmates in general population.

Elsewhere on the call, Blueface claimed victory after hearing his nemesis Soulja Boy walked back his recent threats.

“I win again,” he said, adding, “I heard Soulja Boy apologizing. That s### was real, real respectful. That’s more like it.”

He also rejected Soulja Boy’s offer to put money on his books and said he still wanted to fight.

“I turned myself in fashionably late with $1000 in my pocket. You can keep that small change, but I still need that fade,” he added. “We gon’ do it like gentlemen and get that out the way. We ain’t getting no money, I done made enough off cuz for the rest of the year.”

Soulja Boy must have caught wind of Blue’s remarks because he retracted his previous apology in a heated Instagram Live. In addition he upped the ante on his sexual assault threat, this time pledging $50,000 to have Blue attacked.

Joe Budden Calls Ari Lennox “Bag Of Mixed Nuts” While Addressing Lawsuit Threat

Joe Budden has responded to Ari Lennox after the R&B singer clapped back at his criticisms of her during a fiery Instagram Live last week.

He addressed her comments in the latest episode of The Joe Budden Podcast. In a clip published Tuesday (January 23), Budden began by saying he wanted to “wrap my good sister Ari Lennox in warmth, love and prayer.

“In a[n] industry that has historically not been great to women, now is not the time for any woman out there to feel like they are under attack, unheard or not seen,” he explained. “And if I’ve ever added to that, then I want to do my best to change the trajectory.”

Budden insisted his “punching down,” days are over and vowed to “try to set a new example in 2024.”

Joe Budden Claims Ari Lennox Attempted To “Defame” Him

However, although the clip was titled “Joe Budden Apologizes to Ari Lennox,” he went on to call her “a bag of mixed nuts,” and claimed she proved him right.

He said he saw Lennox’s response to his criticism and her threats to sue him. According to Budden, Lennox “attempted to demean and defame” him, a Black man. He says she did this “while summoning the powers universally of Black women, while simultaneously bigging up a white man who fetishizes. All on Martin Luther King Day.”

He then made an analogy about the nut selection onboard an airplane.

“This chick is a bag of f#####’ mixed nuts. Mixed nuts come from everywhere,” Budden said as his co-hosts began laughing. “This b#### is all the nuts combined and I think she’s done a great job of proving the exact point that I was trying to make in the last broadcast, and we shower her with love.”

Ari Lennox slammed Joe Budden after he criticized her for airing out her frustrations with Rod Wave’s tour. She said Budden is “psychotic” and claimed the Slaughterhouse rapper was obsessed with her.

Tina Knowles Responds To Accusations She Shaded Janet Jackson’s Ticket Prices

Tina Knowles is hitting back against rumors she shaded Janet Jackson after liking a post complaining about the legendary singer overcharging fans for the second leg of her Together Again tour.

The drama began earlier this week when one of Knowles’ friends criticized ticket prices for Jackson’s upcoming shows, comparing packages to Beyoncé’s Renaissance Tour.

“What a joke,” Knowles’ friend wrote alongside a screenshot of Janet Jackson’s $2,000+ VIP seating options. “They add $1000 for a 15 second meet & greet again. No front row for fans unless you want to bend over so they can continue to rake in the cash. You want Beyoncé prices, have real production. Just disgusted. I’m not the only one… oh the DMs I’m getting. Way to thank your fans for years of support.”

Knowles began trending after social media users noticed she liked the post and theorized that Bey’s mom was being shady.

However, in a video Tuesday, Tina Knowles denied the gossip and said she “would never criticize” Janet Jackson, hailing her as the “Queen of Production.”

“I stay away from negativity,” she added. “I you follow me then you know that I am not involved in the mess. What I am guilty of is liking posts, going through when I’m in a big hurry and I don’t have time to really read and liking things because I trust that these are people that I follow.”

Ultimately, Knowles admitted she made “a big mistake” and vowed to “never do that again.”

She doubled down in the caption, insisting “Janet Jackson is an icon,” and noting that she “opened doors for Beyonce.”
