Why Method Man Thinks This Rapper Has Completely “Transcended” Hip-Hop

Method Man is giving Snoop Dogg his flowers, crediting him with creating a blueprint for his peers to “transcend” the music industry and flourish in avenues outside of rapping.

During a recent interview, Steven A. Smith asked the Wu-Tang Clan rapper who the “baddest” rapper in the game is right now.

“I’m gonna go with legacy on this one and I’m gonna have to say Snoop Dogg,” Method Man said. “With LL COOL J] coming up right behind him.”:

Meth elaborated, explaining that the West Coast icon “doesn’t even have to drop music,” because he has ” transcended” titles like “rapper” or “artist.”

“Snoop is a franchise now,” he added. “He should just be an ambassador for our music, period. Or hold classes on how to broaden your horizons, how to master different trades, how to market yourself because Snoop is doing incredible things and we’re looking at more than 30 years.”

He also recently became a fan favorite with his coverage of the Paris Olympic Games and is involved in multiple philanthropic endeavors, including his youth football league.

Method Man Teases Appearance On Snoop Dogg & Dr. Dre’s Upcoming Album

Method Man recently teased a collab on Snoop Dogg and Dr. Dre’s highly anticipated new album, Missionary.

In a recent live “Drink Champs” episode, Meth revealed he and Dre made a track together in the mid-2000s, but never officially released it.

“Every time I work with Dre I feel like I need a do over,” he said, joking that the “chronic” affected his abilities. “I spit a verse but it wasn’t up to par for me, and Dre was gracious enough not to put it out. It kinda leaked any muthafuckin way. This second shot I got is for the Dre and Snoop joint coming up … He got a lotta fire s### on there.”

Bidding War Erupts Over Alleged Diddy Sex Tape With Male A-Lister

A bidding war has reportedly erupted over a tape of Diddy having sex with a male A-List celebrity.

Attorney Ariel Mitchell-Kidd, who’s representing several of Diddy’s alleged sexual assault victims, believes it’s getting very close to becoming public—unless the unnamed person in the video purchases it and pulls what is called “a catch and kill.”

Mitchell-Kidd appeared on News Nation this week and spoke about the recent New York Post article that claimed the celebrity in the video is “horrified” to learn it’s up for sale.

“I received the New York Post article from the person who contacted me to sell the tape,” Mitchell-Kidd said. “I was not shocked by what I read in the article. The person who has the tape really doesn’t want to shop it around. They really want to help and wanted to directly sell it to that person, but it seems as if they are going elsewhere.”

She continued, “I really do feel bad about the person. Part of the reason I did come and say something […] I wanted to sound the alarm to that person that maybe they should do something about it. If I was them, I would do something about this. The only way to do anything is to do the catch and kill. That’s the only way it won’t come out.”

When asked if the tape was close to being leaked, Mitchell-Kidd replied, “From what I’m hearing, I think so. I’m hearing whispers there is at least one major network, possibly two, in a bidding war for that purchase. Unless that person comes forward and purchases the video themselves, which is really the goal of the people who have the video, at this point, if that person doesn’t want to purchase it, it’s going to go on the open market.”

According to the New York Post article, there is more than one person trying to sell the tape. An “insider” reportedly said, “It’s triggering [for the celebrity]. It feels like a betrayal and a violation, and it’s causing a lot of issues. It brings up some really disturbing and bad memories. It’s a total nightmare. He feels like he was victimized years ago and is now being victimized yet again. If this footage gets out, it will follow him for life. It will be on the internet forever.”

An officer with the Department of Homeland Security who was part of the raid on Diddy’s Miami home told The Post that law enforcement agencies think the Bad Boy Records mogul filmed incriminating videos at the home. The mansion allegedly contained several “sex rooms” that gave Diddy the opportunity to record sex parties and watch them remotely.

Diddy was arrested on September 16 at a Manhattan hotel. He’s been charged with racketeering conspiracy, sex trafficking and transportation to engage in prostitution. He’s currently incarcerated at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn. He pleaded not guilty.

Legendary X-Ecutioner DJ Precision Hospitalized With Mounting Medical Bills

The turntablist community is turning out in droves to support DJ Precision, one of the legendary X-ecutioners. According to a GoFundMe campaign organized by veteran promotor Christie Z, Precision is currently holed up at Methodist Hospital in San Antonio, Texas, facing two serious health issues: pancreatitis and Atrial Fibrillation (AFib).

“He was sick days before and during the 2024 DMC USA DJ Finals, on Sept. 29, which he organized,” the description reads. “He managed to hold it together until after the battle when he sought out urgent treatment for his pain and nausea. Currently he lives in Virginia and will not be able to fly home until his health is stabilized. Like many Americans, Precision is uninsured after recently parting ways with Amazon to put full focus on DMC.”

Tee Grizzley Explains How Youth Detention Center In Chicago Left Mark On Him

Tee Grizzley has revealed how his recent outreach work with at-risk youth has had an impact on him following his visit to a youth detention center in Chicago.

In a recent post shared on Instagram, Grizzley described his experience visiting the Cook County Juvenile Detention Center, where he spent time speaking with the young people detainees at the facility.

View this post on Instagram

A post shared by The Author📝✍🏾 (@teegrizzley)

In Tee Grizzley’s address, the “Blow For Blow” rapper shared that he has been traveling from city to city throughout the Midwest, speaking to young people who are in trouble with the law, facing court cases, or dealing with the fallout of challenging home environments.

“I just want to share a real experience with y’all,” Tee Grizzley began. I’m going to city to city throughout the Midwest and other spots. Just talking to the young n###s that’s in trouble and s### like that. Fighting cases, you know what I’m saying? Being abused. That’s at homes. Kids that got incarcerated, parents, this is what I’m on. I’m just going to kick with them. Ain’t nobody paying me to do this. Ain’t nobody making me do this. I’m just doing this. I wish somebody would’ve did it for me.”

During his visit to the detention center, Grizzley specifically spoke with young men who were being charged as adults but were still too young to be transferred to county jail. He described how, on their 18th birthday, these youths would be moved from the juvenile center to the adult facility to continue fighting their cases.

“These is people who too young to go to the county, but they being charged as an adult and on they 18th birthday, on they birthday is when they get transferred to the county,” he noted.

The stark reality of these circumstances resonated with Grizzley and motivated him to implore the detainees to take full advantage of his presence with them. Grizzley said his approach ended up paying off immensely and paving the way for him to build a genuine connection with those he was visiting with.

“After I said that, they started opening up slowly but surely they started rapping everything,” he said. “We in there kicking it, laughing. I brought ’em all some Harold’s [Chicken] up there, you feel me? We eating like family. So I’m just thinking to myself like ‘damn, these little n###as cool as hell. I hope when they get out,’ you know what I’m saying?”

However, the grim reminder of the choices the detainees made to land themselves in the detention center ultimately proved to be a shocking discovery for Grizzley.

“So I’m just taking a liking to these young n###as and s##t like that, and I ended up asking him like, ‘so what y’all locked up for?'” he said. “It’s 20-30 of ’em. ‘What y’all locked up for? Y’all n###as kids? What y’all in for?’ All them little n###as in that b###h for bodies bro. All of them bodies, all of them. Not one shoplifted, not one fraud, not one fight at school, not one got caught with a gun. All of them bodies, babies 18th birthday going to the county, charges is adult came in there and they was 13, 14, 15, been in there for two years. Bodies, all of them.”

Grizzley went on to explain how the charges the youths were facing that he was visiting led him to reflect on his own experience navigating the legal system.

“And what f##ked me up, I remember when I was in the county fighting my case and I’m around a bunch of cool a## n###as,” he remarked. “I’m around a bunch of n###as I’m taking liking to. When I get out I’ll be able to f##k with you. You know what I’m saying? And the craziest part that f##ked my head up. Some of them n###as going to get found guilty bro. How they mamas feel, how they families feel? They got little brothers and little sisters. These n###as, babies bro.”

He continued, using the journey some make to become professional athletes as a metaphor for the types of odds many of the youth at the detention center face due to their charges.

“It’s like, making it to the NBA, is like beating the case,” he said. “Everybody don’t make it to the NBA bro. So if you are some praying people, put them young n###as in your prayers, man that’s in there fighting for they life bro as kids. S##t was so humbling. S##t was so real. S##t. Touched my heart, man.”

Funk Flex Denies Validity Of 120 New Diddy Accusers Claims While Hotline Attracts 12K Calls

Legendary New York DJ Funk Flex has come forward to express his doubts about the number of sexual assault allegations Diddy is currently facing just as thousands more alleged claims are rolling in.

Flex shared his thoughts on Diddy’s ongoing case following Houston-based attorney Tony Buzbee’s explosive announcement that he’s representing 120 alleged victims of sexual assault by Diddy—60 men and 60 women. Buzbee, who has spearheaded the legal pursuit against the rapper, also revealed that a hotline set up for victims of Diddy’s alleged crimes. Funk Flex took to social media to criticize the scale of the allegations and directly called out the claim that Diddy had sexually assaulted 120 people.

“120 people sexually assaulted by Diddy? For real? 120 people sexually assaulted by Diddy?” Flex questioned, clearly in disbelief.

His blunt response then took a sharp turn as he appeared to dismiss the accusations as ridiculous.

“Just say you’re broke and you need money,” he said.

While he acknowledged that some of the claims are concerning, particularly in reference to the allegations involving Diddy’s ex-girlfriend Cassie, Flex was quick to draw a line.

“We don’t like that video with Cassie and Diddy—it was an awful video to watch, and that shouldn’t happen to any woman,” he stated, referencing a disturbing incident involving the singer.

Yet, when it comes to the 120 allegations, Flex concluded, “But assaulting 120 people sounds stupid.”

Flex’s video comes on the heels of disturbing revelations from attorney Tony Buzbee, who has been gathering evidence and testimony from alleged victims of Diddy’s decades-long abuse. The accusations, which reportedly stretch over 25 years, allegedly involve both underage and adult victims. Buzbee detailed that the hotline his legal team set up to gather claims had been inundated, stating, “The floodgates really opened,” and explaining that they received an overwhelming 12,000 calls within a single day following a press conference.

Meanwhile, the hotline, which Buzbee has been using to gather evidence against Diddy, is manned by over 100 staffers working around the clock to sift through the influx of calls. The team is tasked with identifying legitimate victims and witnesses while collecting crucial evidence for future civil cases.

Of the 120 individuals planning to file lawsuits, at least 25 were minors at the time of the alleged abuse. One particularly alarming case involves a victim who, at just 9 years old, was allegedly sexually abused by Diddy and others at a Bad Boy Records audition in New York.

The child had been promised a record deal, both to him and his parents, before the horrific incident allegedly occurred. Many of the claims, according to Buzbee, involve victims who were lured into Diddy’s orbit with promises of stardom in the music or TV industries.

EXCLUSIVE: Barry White Estate Enters War With Drake & Kendrick Lamar Over Future’s “Like That”

Barry White’s family has indirectly entered the war between Kendrick Lamar and Drake.

White’s surviving family launched a legal offensive against Rodney-O and Joe Cooley over the chart-topping hit “Like That” by Future, Metro Boomin and Kendrick Lamar.

The Barry White Family Trust, represented by Barry’s widow Glodean B. White and Jack W. Perry, alleges that “Like That” unlawfully samples White’s iconic 1973 track, “I’m Gonna Love You Just A Little More, Babe.”

The lawsuit claims that the bassline in “Like That” is a direct lift from White’s original composition.

“Like That” samples Rodney-O and Joe Cooley’s 1988 track “Everlasting Bass,” which they say also infringes on White’s copyright.

Interestingly, Future, Metro Boomin and Kendrick Lamar have not been named defendants in the lawsuit—at least not yet.

The complaint notes that these artists, along with their associated record labels, are believed to be indemnified by Rodney-O and Joe Cooley, thus shielding them from immediate legal action.

However, the plaintiffs have left the door open for future claims should the indemnification prove insufficient.

“Like That” has dominated the charts and ignited one of Hip-Hop’s most intense rivalries.

The track famously sparked a lyrical feud between Kendrick Lamar and Drake, adding another layer of drama to an already contentious release.

The Barry White Trust is seeking damages over $1 million, citing unauthorized reproductions, digital downloads and streaming revenues, among other infringements.

South Park Mexican Up For Parole After Serving Decades In Prison For Assaulting 9-Year-Old Girl

South Park Mexican, also known as SPM, will go up before the parole board on Monday (October 7). The Houston rapper was handed a 45-year prison sentence and a $10,000 fine in 2002 after being convicted of aggravated sexual assault on a little girl.

The incident took place in 2001, when the girl was spending the night at his Houston home over Labor Day weekend. She was 9 and SPM was 31. Harris County records show he was arrested on September 25, 2001 and released on $30,000 bond.

He ultimately surrendered to authorities on March 6, 2002, after the Harris County District Attorney’s office filed assault charges against him for taking two 14-year-old fans to a North Houston motel. One of the girls claimed he had sex with her, although the case was eventually dismissed. SPM also had a sexual relationship with a 13-year-old girl, who birthed his son. In total, he had sexual encounters with at least six underage girls.

Crime Stoppers of Houston Director of Victim Services Andy Kahan spoke to local news outlets and explained if SPM does make parole, it wouldn’t be the first time for a crime such as his.

“It’s extremely rare for a sex offender to be paroled on their initial parole review,” Kahan explained. “However, the Parole Board had previously paroled on his first parole review, another well-known Hispanic Musician Joe (Grupo Mazz) Lopez who was also serving a similar type of sentence involving sexual activity with underage girls, hence it will be interesting to see if [SPM] will be the second musician paroled on his first review.”

SPM, born Carlos Coy, rose to prominence in the late 1990s and early 2000s for his mix of Southern Hip-Hop and Latin rap, which contributed to the Chicano rap scene. He founded the label Dope House Records and released albums like Hillwood (1995) and The Purity Album (2000). Some of his most well known songs include “Mexican Radio,” “Wiggy Wiggy” and “I Need A Sweet,” a nod to Egyptian Lover’s 1994 single “I Need A Freak.”

Donald Glover Scraps Childish Gambino Farewell Tour For “Something I Need To Confront Seriously”

Donald Glover canceled what was promoted as the final Childish Gambino tour on Friday (October 4). Glover announced the tour’s demise a month after postponing the remainder of his North American dates for undisclosed health issues.

“After my show in New Orleans, I went to the hospital in Houston to make sure of an ailment that had become apparent,” he wrote on X (formerly known as Twitter). “After being assessed, it became clear i would not perform that night, and after more tests, i could not perform the rest of the US tour in the time asked.

“As of now I have surgery scheduled and need time out to heal. My path to recovery is something I need to confront seriously. With that said, we have made the difficult decision to cancel the remainder of the North American tour and the UK and European dates. Tickets will be refunded at point of purchase.”

Glover began his New World Tour in August.

The tour unexpectedly ended after he performed in New Orleans in September.

Glover had to postpone his Houston concert on the day of the show due to illness.

The next day, he postponed the rest of the tour to focus on his health.

The tour was held in support of Glover’s Bando Stone & the New World album.

He said the album was his final Childish Gambino release.

Glover claimed his tour was his last musical endeavor using the Childish Gambino moniker.

He didn’t say if its cancellation affected his plans.

“I want nothing more than to bring this show to the fans and perform,” he told fans on social media. “Until then, thanks for love, privacy and support.”

Glover (as Childish Gambino) dropped the Bando Stone & the New World album in July.

He directed a movie with the same title, but the film’s release date hasn’t been announced.

Benzino Wants To Squash Longstanding Beef With Eminem—Again

Benzino is apparently ready to end his feud with Eminem. In a surprising turn of events, Benzino has publicly extended an olive branch to his longtime adversary following the news that Eminem is set to become a grandfather.

After Hailie Jade, Eminem’s daughter, recently announced her pregnancy, Benzino took to social media to congratulate his former foe, marking a potential thaw in their decades-long feud.

“Somebody found out that they’re going to be a grandfather,” Benzino began. “And the irony is that even though he said nobody wants to hear their grandpa rap, I still want to send a congratulations out to Eminem and his daughter Hailie on the news that she’s about to give birth and he’s about to be a granddad.”

For years, the two rappers were at each other’s throats, exchanging diss tracks and harsh words both on and off the mic. The feud originated in the early 2000s, when Benzino, then a co-owner of The Source magazine, criticized Eminem’s success and even accused the rapper of appropriating Black culture. This led to a bitter war of words that played out through scathing diss tracks, including Eminem’s brutal response with “The Sauce” and “Nail in the Coffin.” Benzino fired back with “Pull Your Skirt Up” and “Die Another Day,” but the beef only cemented Eminem’s place in the rap hierarchy, while Benzino’s criticism backfired.

View this post on Instagram

A post shared by AllHipHop (@allhiphopcom)

Despite their tumultuous past, Benzino expressed a desire for peace in order for them to be able to “enjoy” life as they continue to grow older.

“I think this is a good time, man, to put this behind us and let’s try to enjoy life and try to make some type of statement,” he said. “I truly want to congratulate him and his daughter and him on being a grandfather. I’m not one yet. I’m sure that day will come, and I’ll be proud just like he is.”

The timing of Benzino’s gesture is especially noteworthy given the rekindling of their rivalry earlier this year. In a shocking resurgence of their old beef, both rappers took shots at each other through a series of diss tracks, reviving a feud that many thought had long since died down. Eminem, known for his unrelenting lyrical attacks, didn’t hold back, while Benzino also dropped verses aimed at the Detroit rapper via diss tracks such as his “Rap Elvis” single. Though the situation escalated briefly, it seems Benzino is now hoping to finally bury the hatchet.

Whether Eminem will respond to Benzino’s congratulatory message remains to be seen, but it’s clear that the former Source editor is ready to move forward.

2Pac’s Family Hires Star Attorney To Investigate Diddy’s Possible Connection To His Murder

Tupac Shakur’s family has hired high profile attorney Alex Spiro and a team of investigators to probe into any connection to Diddy and Hip-Hop legend’s murder. 2Pac was gunned down at a Las Vegas intersection on September 7, 1996 at the peak of the West Coast-East Coast rap rivalry. The Bad Boy Records founder has long been suspected of having a hand in his demise, although nothing has ever been proven.

A break in the case came in September 2023, when Keefe D was arrested and charged with the killing. He’s previously made claims that Diddy offered $1 million for a hit on the All Eyez on Me rapper. He will go to trial next March. In the meantime, Shakur’s family is evidently trying to determine once and for all if Diddy, Biggie’s close personal friend and collaborator, had anything to do with it.

According to a detective that testified in his case, Keefe D claimed former Death Row CEO Suge Knight, who was driving the car that Shakur was shot in, told people Diddy was ‘responsible “if not directly, indirectly for the murder of his good friend.” Mere months after 2Pac’s murder, Biggie was fatally shot in Los Angeles that was blamed on the West Coast side of the ongoing beef.

It’s important to note Diddy has never been arrested, indicted or charged in connection to these claims. Numerous outlets have reported and independently confirmed directly with law enforcement that there’s no new information or pending or active investigation.

In July, the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department told PEOPLE, “Sean Combs has never been considered a suspect in the Tupac Shakur homicide investigation.” Investigators also told TMZ, “Diddy was never a suspect in the 2Pac murder investigation, and that remains true today.”

Diddy himself claimed to AllHipHop in 2008, “This story is beyond ridiculous and completely false. Neither Biggie nor I had any knowledge of any attack before, during or after it happened. It is a complete lie to suggest that there was any involvement by Biggie or myself.”

Keefe D’s own attorney has argued in his current case that he has lied about his involvement in the shooting simply for clout. Furthermore, his story has changed several times.

The latest development adds to the onslaught of cases piling up on Diddy. The embattled mogul was arrested on September 16 at a Manhattan hotel on three RICO charges: racketeering conspiracy, sex trafficking and transportation to engage in prostitution. He pleaded not guilty. His legal team is attempting a third time at bail, filing a notice of appeal.

Comedian Jay Pharoah Recalls “Cheek Clapper” Diddy Giving Him “Creep Vibes”

Jay Pharoah recently called Diddy a “cheek clapper” while speaking on how the disgraced Bad Boy music mogul gave him “creep vibes” when they first met.

The comedian recently sat down with Adam Carolla on his podcast and dropped major tea, including an eyebrow-raising anecdote about none other than Sean “Diddy” Combs. But first, Pharoah started on the path of recalling his experience with Diddy while praising fellow comedian Katt Williams, who shook Hollywood earlier this year with his explosive interview on Shannon Sharpe’s Club Shay Shay podcast.

Williams, who has long been known for his bold statements and fearless resolve, called out celebrities like Diddy, predicting that “all lies will be exposed” in 2024. Pharoah clearly feels Katt was onto something, remarking on his belief that not only was he telling the truth, but was telling jokes while he was doing it.

“Katt gave us a special with that Shannon Sharp interview,” Jay Pharoah said. “He had been working on them damn jokes, like, ‘this is probably funny. I can’t wait to talk to Shannon about this. Everybody’s going to lose their f###ing mind. All lies will be exposed in 2024.”

When Carolla pressed the subject, suggesting that Williams may have even more information about Diddy’s looming sexual assault allegations, Pharoah then dived into his own unsettling encounter with Diddy. According to Pharoah, the music mogul made him feel uncomfortable from the get-go.

“I met him [Diddy] before,” he said. “He gave me creep vibes. He was a creep. He was trying to get me to sign to his lawyer and I didn’t.”

Pharoah then revealed that Diddy tried to get him to sign with his lawyer while Pharoah was on Saturday Night Live.

“His lawyer was trying to get me as a client and apparently my sister’s my manager,” he said. “But he had already met with her and she said, we’re still going to go and weigh our options. I didn’t know that. So he thought he could jump the gun.”

View this post on Instagram

A post shared by AllHipHop (@allhiphopcom)

Pharoah continued, explaining how Diddy doubled down and attempted to pressure him to sign with his lawyer and approached him at an SNL event in December 2010, seemingly eager to make a business deal happen behind the scenes.

“He talked to P Diddy, he was like, ‘Yo, I need some help. Yo, get Jay Pharoah to see if you can get him to sign with me,” he explained. “And Diddy was like, yeah, I got that. I got that. I got that. And then I didn’t, once I found out what was happening, I was like, yeah, I don’t really rock with this.”

Pharoah, however, wasn’t feeling it—especially considering Diddy’s infamous track record with artists. He didn’t hold back when he shared his skepticism, questioning the longevity of anyone’s career under Diddy’s Bad Boy Records.

“Do you know any Bad Boy artists who had a career after they got signed?” he asked rhetorically, before concluding, “None of them. So why would I sign with you?”

Pharoah added, “And you might try to clap my cheeks. I don’t want that sh** to happen. You know what I’m saying? You’re a cheek clapper. You clap cheeks.”

Lil Durk Calls Out “Fake Ass Tracklist” After Album Announcement

Lil Durk debunked a supposed leaked tracklist for his next album on Friday (October 4). The Alamo Records artist said the tracklist was fake after announcing his Deep Thoughts project, which drops on October 18.

“Fake ass tracklist,” Lil Durk wrote.

The fabricated tracklist listed pop star Sabrina Carpenter and YouTubers Kai Cenat and IShowSpeed as guests. Rod Wave was billed as the executive producer.

Several social media bloggers reposted the tracklist, assuming it was legitimate. The tracklist was attributed to Love Songs 4 the Streets 3, not Deep Thoughts.

Lil Durk switched focus to his new album after making his acting debut in the STARZ series Power Book II: Ghost. Fans joked about his appearance on the show, but actress LaToya Tonodeo praised his performance.

“I thought he killed it,” she told a paparazzo. “And I hope he keeps going with it … He was dope to work with. Super cool, super chill. Yeah, I hope he keeps it going.”

LaToya Tonodeo, who played Diane Tejada in Power Book II: Ghost, wanted to see Lil Durk continue acting.

“I hope so,” she said when asked if he has a future in Hollywood. “You’d have to ask him, but in my opinion, I hope so.”

Power Book II: Ghost’s series finale premiered Friday (October 4). The episode is available to stream now. It airs on the Starz linear channel at 8 p.m. ET.

DaBaby Says He “Dropped The F-ing Ball” After Homophobic Controversy

DaBaby regretted how he handled the backlash to his homophobic comments at the 2021 Rolling Loud Festival in Miami. The Interscope Records artist believed he succumbed to public pressure instead of powering through the controversy, telling the Breakfast Club he “dropped the f###### ball.”

“[I] hold myself accountable for the way that I allowed s### to take place over the last four years,” he said. “I could’ve put out a body of work like How TF Is This a Mixtape? immediately after the controversy and boom—trumped all that s###. That’s light. The s### that I done did while being a mainstream artist, while I was the most talked about artist in the game, the s### that I was doing—I don’t even being trying to bring this s### up. I whoop a n####’s ass on camera then go on the cover of Billboard magazine the next day … This s### is public record.”

Multiple festivals dropped DaBaby due to the outrage over his Rolling Loud rant. The controversy contributed to his decline as a mainstream star.

“If you didn’t show up today with HIV, AIDS, any of them deadly sexually transmitted diseases that’ll make you die in two or three weeks, put your cellphone light in the air,” he told the crowd.

Dua Lipa, who collaborated with DaBaby on the song “Levitating,” said she was “horrified” by his remarks. Elton John and Madonna were among the notable artists who publicly condemned the rapper.

“[I allowed] myself to get tricked into being in a space to where I feel like I’m at the mercy of some m############ who don’t understand me as an artist anyway,” DaBaby said on the Breakfast Club. “Because anybody who is a fan of me, they already know it ain’t nothing I can say that’ll throw them off to the point where they [say], ‘Aw, you’re a bad person. I’m turning my back.’ Ain’t no way. I done said worse!”

DaBaby released How TF Is This a Mixtape? in September.

Rich Homie Quan Fans React With Mixed Emotions To Posthumous Album Announcement Via Twitter

Rich Homie Quan fans were startled, to say the least, after the late rapper’s social media accounts announced his forthcoming posthumous release.

On Thursday (October 3), messages announcing the title of Quan’s Forever Goin In album and the tracklist appeared on both the deceased Atlanta rapper’s Instagram and Twitter (X) accounts. In addition to news about the album a story post announced the 35th birthday celebration for Quan at The Bank Event Center in Atlanta where the first 1,0004 people will get in for free.

Furthermore, a post featuring the touching cover art and the tracklist for the album, which includes features from Skilla Baby, Plies, Sukihana and more, a cryptic caption uncovered the multi-layered meaning of the release.

“34 listed songs ironically that’s the age I…,” the caption reads. “Bonus 1 extra, because tomorrow will forever be a celebration! My GIF to my Fans #richhomiequan #richhomiebaby #forevergoinin.”

Ralo & Kenny Muney Squash Young Dolph Beef: “Grown Man Business”

Ralo reconciled with Kenny Muney after getting called out for comments about Young Dolph. Ralo said he talked to Kenny Muney, one of Young Dolph’s artists, to resolve their issues in an Instagram Stories post.

“My brother @kennymuney told me how he felt and he was right,” he wrote. “What’s understood ain’t gotta be explained we following each other back bih!! #PREFAMGOON BUSINESS.”

Kenny Muney responded, “That’s grown man business when u can admit u wrong,” he wrote. “I know yo love for Dolph pure just remember the part we talked about.”

Earlier this week, Ralo condemned Boosie Badazz for praising Yo Gotti. Ralo believed Boosie was disrespectful considering revelations from the Young Dolph murder trial. The public learned Yo Gotti’s brother Big Jook put a $100,000 hit on Young Dolph, who was shot and killed in 2021.

Kenny Muney didn’t appreciate Ralo’s attempt to defend Young Dolph’s honor. The Paper Route Empire artist said he lost respect for Ralo.

“All that playing click bait or whatever y’all call that s### in the name of my n#### it only last so long!!” Kenny Muney wrote. “It’s real [blood], sweat n tears behind [Young Dolph]. Y’all want whatever it is y’all want but y’all ain’t tryna get no straightening bout my n####. Quit speaking on speaking on situations wit them folks on the other side cause it ain’t a game!! If anybody know @youngdolph he don’t give a damn what nobody else doing or who f##### wit who let my n#### rest!!”

He added, “If you love Dolph, love him, hold his legacy but quit speaking on beef. Quit speaking on street s### unless u on dirt cause we the ones gotta face it later.”

Justin Johnson, one of Young Dolph’s killers, was convicted of murder in September. Johnson was sentenced to life in prison.

Hernandez Govan, the alleged mastermind behind Young Dolph’s murder, is due back in court on October 9. Cornelius Smith, who admitted to killing Young Dolph with Johnson, is scheduled to return to court in November.

Swizz Beatz Accused Of Receiving Millions Of Dollars In Stolen Funds

Swizz Beatz was accused of receiving more than $7 million linked to the 1MDB scandal in a lawsuit filed in New York on Wednesday (October 2). According to court documents obtained by AllHipHop, liquidators sued the producer for intentional fraudulent conveyance, constructive fraudulent conveyance and unjust enrichment.

The 1MDB scandal is one of the biggest corruption scandals in the world. Authorities say billions of dollars were stolen from the Malaysian state fund 1MDB in a scheme involving fugitive businessman Jho Lo, his associate Eric Tan and others.

Fugees member Pras Michel was convicted on multiple charges for orchestrating an unregistered, back-channel campaign to get U.S. officials to stop investigating Low’s crimes. Low and his associates allegedly gave $7.3 million in stolen funds to Swizz Beatz, whose real name is Kasseem Dean.

“As the 1MDB Fraud was underway, Jho Low became a well-known figure in the Hollywood scene and developed a reputation as a businessman with deep pockets and a penchant for hosting lavish, star-studded parties and group vacations,” the lawsuit read. “Throughout the early 2010s, Low befriended many U.S. celebrities including Dean and his wife Alicia Keys.

Liquidators sued Swizz Beatz to recoup funds obtained from Affinity Equity International Partners Limited and Alsen Chance Holdings Limited, which were linked to the 1MDB scandal. Both companies were placed in liquidation proceedings in the British Virgin Islands.

“Between September 21, 2012 and September 4, 2014, Jho Low and/or Eric Tan caused the debtors to transfer $7,300,000 to defendants and, during that same time period, the debtors did not receive any money back from the defendants or any other consideration from the defendants in exchange for the fraudulent transfers,” the lawsuit explained. “Consequently, a net amount of $7,300,000 was conveyed from the debtors to the defendants.”

Alsen Chance gave $1.5 million to Swizz Beatz Productions Inc. in September 2012. Payments of $1 million and $800,000 were sent in October 2012.

Affinity sent $800,000 to Swizz Beatz’s Monza Studios in November 2013 and $1 million in December 2013. Swizz Beatz received $500,000 in June 2014, $300,000 in July 2014 and $1.4 million in September 2014.

Alsen Chance and Affinity were incorporated under the BVI Companies Act. The BVI Court appointed liquidators to both companies “as part of the global asset recovery efforts for the benefit of the debtors’ creditors, being 1MDB and SRC International, and therefore ultimately the people of Malaysia.”

The liquidators sought $3.3 million in damages from Swizz Beatz Productions, $2.2 million from the producer and $1.8 million from Monza Studios. The plaintiffs also requested money for attorneys’ fees and other court costs.

Diddy Secretly Recorded “Freak Offs” To Blackmail Celebrities, Accuser Claims

A woman accusing Sean “Diddy” Combs of grooming her is speaking out in a new interview, naming some of the A-List celebrities at his parties and claiming he would secretly record “Freak off” participants for blackmail purposes.

Shortly before Diddy’s arrest, Adria English filed both a lawsuit and criminal complaint accusing Diddy of grooming her into sex trafficking. She claimed he used her as “a sexual pawn for the pleasure and financial benefit of others” at his White Parties.  English also alleged she was sexually assaulted and plied with alcohol laced with drugs at the parties, among other allegations.

In an interview with the Daily Mail, English opened up about Diddy’s famed “White Parties,” alleging she was trafficked to attendees over a five-year period. English claimed she had sex with some of the celebrities but didn’t name them.

Famous guests at these parties in Diddy homes in the Hamptons and Miami included Donald Trump, Ja Rule, Busta Rhymes and Reverend Al Sharpton. She spotted Diana Ross at one bash with her son, Evan, who was a minor at the time.

According to English, “Freak Offs” were held away from the main bash, and many guests were oblivious to their existence.

“He would send them in a room with me or another sex worker, record it, and then hold that over that celebrity or that influential person’s head and then basically use me,” English told the outlet. “It was like high-class temping, if you will.”

She added, “He orchestrated it, he commanded it, he lined it up, he expected it, he manipulated it. He got money and yachts and planes all around the world based on me doing these favors.”

English claims Diddy secretly recorded sexual encounters to “blackmail everyone that he wanted a favor from or to keep at bay.”

Earlier this week, AllHipHop reported English was dropped by her attorneys, who claimed her “conflicting instructions” make it “unreasonably difficult” to represent her.

Diddy’s legal team denied the allegations.

“As we’ve said from the start, anyone can file a lawsuit without proof — and this case is a clear example of that,” the spokesperson said. “Adria English escalated things by filing false police reports and making baseless claims, using high-profile events as a backdrop to harm innocent people. No matter how many lawsuits are filed, it won’t change the fact that Mr. Combs has never sexually assaulted, or sex trafficked anyone.”

Diddy remains in custody at Brooklyn’s Metropolitan Detention Center following his arrest last month. He pleaded not guilty to three charges: racketeering conspiracy, sex trafficking and transportation to engage in prostitution. His legal team is attempting a third time at bail.

Future Accused Of Dissing Gunna On A$AP Ferg’s “Allure” Single

Future is feeding his fans new music ahead of his upcoming Mixtape Pluto project, and his latest offering appears to include a shot at Gunna.

The tension seemingly arose between the former collaborators earlier this year, after Future took a shot at Gunna amid his album release, leaving fans of the pair perplexed. At the time, multiple rappers publicly dissed Gunna, accusing him of snitching on Young Thug after he accepted an Alford plea in the YSL RICO trial.

Fast forward several months later, and Future appears to be back at it again. However, this time the sub was more sinister. On Friday (October 4), A$AP Ferg released his new single “Allure” featuring Future.

In the verse, Future alludes to the plea deal, referring to Young Thug as “my slime,” before suggesting it could cost the “fukumean’ hitmaker his life.

“You done took a plea on my slime,” Future raps. “Won’t be surprised if you ended up dead.”

Fans React To Future Dissing Gunna

However, the diss wasn’t well received by some fans on social media.

“Future needs to stop dissing gunna and hop back in the studio with him man,” one person shared. “Nobody cares.”

“Future, I love bro but if anything happens to Gunna we gon have a problem,” a second user wrote.

Meanwhile, a third was annoyed that the Atlanta rappers might never collaborate again.

“Gunna and Future beefing means we never getting a song like Street Sweeper ever again,” they said.

In May, they set tongues wagging after Future announced he would drop a mixtape on the same day Gunna was set to drop One of Wun

“F### yo album S### ain’t slappin like my MIXTAPE,” Future wrote. “MAY TENTH. MIXTAPE PLUTO.”

Gunna responded, “Turn this s### bac up Notch……! F## What These boys talkin bout.”

Diddy’s Ex-Bodyguard Claims He’s Being Targeted For Refusing To Testify Against Diddy

A former Bad Boy Records bodyguard Joseph “Big Joe” Sherman accused of sexually assaulting a woman with Diddy at his Bad Boy studios in New York in 2001 claims he’s being made a scapegoat because he refused to be a witness against the Hip-Hop mogul.

Sherman denies knowing Thalia Graves who claims the duo drugged and raped her over two decades ago. She also alleged the assault was filmed and the footage was later shopped as pornography.

In a new interview, Sherman maintained his innocence, insisting he wasn’t in the city at the time of the alleged attack.

“I am not questioning her integrity. I am just questioning her claims against me,” Sherman told News 4 New York. “You got the wrong man. I wasn’t even in the same room with you, I have never seen you. I wasn’t even in New York that I recall at the time.”

Furthermore, Sherman claims he wasn’t employed by Diddy in 2001 but did security for Bad Boy in the 1990s.

“Her and whoever she’s in cahoots with was orchestrating a money grab. And she wanted me to be part of that money grab,” he said. She wanted to get Diddy,” he said.

Sherman Claims He was Asked To Be A Witness Against Diddy

Sherman showed the outlet Instagram DMs reportedly linked to Graves, starting in November 2023.

He was asked to confirm if he was “Big Joe” before being told to call a number.

“If you will be my witness against Diddy, then my attorneys will leave you out of any proceedings,” the text read. “Because we have statements that you physically showed over eight people videos of me and you to people in the studio.”

Sherman replied, “I don’t know what the f### you talking about [or] know who the f### you are.”

He told News 4 New York: “I am nothing but a scapegoat for this BS because I wouldn’t lie on Puffy.”

After filing her lawsuit, Graves spoke at a press conference alongside her attorney Gloria Allred.

“The internal pain after being sexually assaulted has been incredibly deep and hard to put into words,” Graves said. “It goes beyond just the physical harm caused during the assault. It’s a pain that reaches into the very core of who I am leaving emotional scars that may never fully heal.”
