SIGNS: Here’s How Keanu Reeves Got Entangled In $35M South American Tourism Crime Ring

A real-life “John Wick” mirroring story has become a reality for well-known actor Keanu Reeves after the discovery of his stolen jewelry uncovered his unlikely connection to a multi-million dollar criminal operation.

The star of the popular action film franchise has been caught up in an international crime scheme that has rocked Southern California and beyond all the way from the Southern hemisphere. In a nutshell, a $9,000 Rolex stolen from the actor’s Los Angeles home last year has been discovered overseas, promptly shedding light on a sprawling $35 million tourism crime ring originating in South America.

The saga began when Reeves became one of the latest victims in a wave of crimes attributed to South American “crime tourism” rings targeting Southern California celebrities. Lori Perez of KCAL reported that police collaborating with U.S. officials in Chile recently recovered three stolen watches during a raid of four houses. Among the items was Reeves’ Rolex engraved with his name, which taken during a break-in at his L.A. home in December.

Authorities believe this discovery is part of a broader investigation into crime rings targeting the homes of pro-athletes and celebrities. In August, a multi-agency task force in Los Angeles announced the arrest of six individuals running a Van Nuys rental car company. This group is accused of organizing the entry of foreign nationals from South America to commit crimes in the U.S. Investigators have linked the operation to around 120 burglaries in 80 cities nationwide, resulting in losses totaling more than $35 million.

Former federal prosecutor Nima Rahmani explained the phenomenon’s troubling rise.

“Crime tourism certainly isn’t new, but we’re seeing a lot more of it,” Rahmani said. “Some of it has to do with the nature of individuals who are targeted, rich and famous people. But a lot of it has to do with social media as well. People are posting when they’re on vacation. Well, that makes their home a target. People are posting their bags and their jewelry.”

Chilean nationals are reportedly being flown into the U.S. specifically to carry out these crimes. Chile’s unique travel visa policy—allowing tourists to enter the country with minimal vetting—has made it an attractive hub for recruiting individuals into these schemes. The NBA and NFL have even issued warnings to players about the threat posed by these crime rings. Rahmani noted the cooperation from Chilean authorities as a significant factor in tackling the issue.

“I do think that the publicity that these Chilean gangs have received in the media coverage here in Southern California has certainly helped the United States put pressure on their counterparts in Chile to help stop this wave of theft,” he said. “It’s certainly a black eye for the government of Chile to have this reputation.”

JAY-Z has laid out his defense strategy as he moves to dismiss a sexual assault lawsuit filed by Jane Doe, who alleges he and Sean “Diddy” Combs attacked her at an after-party for the 2000 MTV Video Music Awards.

The lawsuit claims the woman, who was 13 at the time, was coerced into signing a nondisclosure agreement, drugged, and then assaulted at a residence allegedly outside the city.

JAY-Z has vehemently denied the claims.

“These allegations are so heinous in nature that I implore you to file a criminal complaint, not a civil one!! Whomever would commit such a crime against a minor should be locked away, would you not agree?” JAY-Z said in a statement.

JAY-Z is currently at war with the unknown woman’s lawyer, Tony Buzbee, who has also filed over two dozen lawsuits against Combs. Through his high-powered attorney, Alex Spiro, the rap icon argues the claims are legally invalid on several fronts.

Spiro presented a multi-tiered defense to Judge Analisa Torres, asserting the lawsuit should be dismissed because the allegations don’t align with the Victims of Gender-Motivated Violence Protection Act (GMV Law).

Signed into law in December 2000, the statute was enacted months after the alleged assault in September 2000.

In a pre-motion letter to Torres, Spiro contended that applying the law retroactively “would violate both state and federal due process protections.”

He cites precedents where similar claims have failed under the same legal argument. Additionally, JAY-Z’s legal team hinges part of its argument on jurisdiction.

The GMV Law applies solely to incidents within New York City limits, but the plaintiff describes a venue outside the city—a residence with a gated, U-shaped driveway approximately 20 minutes from Radio City Music Hall, where the awards show took place.

Spiro highlighted this geographic gap, stating public records confirm the property described would not fall under New York City’s jurisdiction.

The defense further contends the case is barred under the state’s Child Victims Act (CVA), which temporarily allowed expired claims of abuse to be filed but closed its revival window in August 2021.

Jane Doe and her lawyer, Tony Buzbee, have attempted to use the more recent GMV Law to revive her case, but Spiro maintains that federal courts have consistently ruled the CVA overrides other statutes like the GMV Law when timelines overlap.

Despite the technical arguments, tensions over courtroom conduct have added fuel to the proceedings.

Last week, Judge Torres admonished Spiro for what she described as overly combative motions and inflammatory filings.

“Carter’s lawyer’s relentless filing of combative motions containing inflammatory language and ad hominem attacks is inappropriate, a waste of judicial resources, and a tactic unlikely to benefit his client,” Torres fumed, declining Spiro’s push to expedite the dismissal process.

“The Court will not fast-track the judicial process merely because counsel demands it.”

Jane Doe, who has asked to remain anonymous, alleges the attack was witnessed by an unnamed female celebrity at the after-party residence.

Judge Torres upheld her request to keep her identity private amid arguments from JAY-Z’s counsel that her name should be disclosed. With these preliminary motions setting the tone, the stage is now set for what could be a protracted legal fight.

Cordae Reveals Argument Across The Pond Was Final Nail In YBN Crew’s Coffin

Cordae has once again addressed the swift dismantling of his former rap outfit YBN, but this time, he’s seemingly peeled back the curtain to provide a behind-the-scenes look at the events leading to the crew’s demise.

He opened up about YBN’s implosion during a livestream with popular DMV content creator Peaks100. The group, which included YBN Almighty Jay and YBN Nahmir, once seemed poised for greatness, but Cordae revealed the internal tensions and challenges that led to their eventual split. When asked directly about his decision to leave YBN, Cordae didn’t hesitate.

“It was a number of reasons, bro,” Cordae started off. “Like, uh, groups, unfortunately…name one group that stayed together. Not even the Jackson 5 and them n#ggas are brothers.”

As Peaks100 attempted to sway his opinion by using a host of long-standing Hip-Hop collectives, such as the Wu-Tang Clan, as examples of crews who’ve maintained relevance as a unit, Cordae highlighted the reality that most music groups, even legendary ones, rarely endure the test of time.

“They [Wu-Tang Clan] all went and did solo sh#t, though,” he said in part. “This n#ggas going down the list. I’m like, man, ain’t nobody together.”

Cordae ended up diving deeper into the group’s dynamics, revealing some striking details about their lack of cohesion, in addition to the notion that a heated disagreement in Europe may have been the final straw.

“We never recorded a song with all three of us,” he admitted. “The business side of it was kinda like super f#cked up, honestly. N#ggas got into a big argument in f#cking Europe. People say certain things that they can’t take back.”

While he maintained that there’s still love between the members, he acknowledged the lingering tensions. “It’s still love, but it’s still some sh#t you just can’t take [back], you know what I’m saying?” he said. “Namir, that’s still my homie, like, sh#t. Jay, I still f#ck with bruh.”

Despite the fallout, Cordae expressed gratitude for the opportunities and connections YBN provided. More specifically, he commented on how YBN Nahmir provided somewhat of a career jumpstart for him early on.

“Namir, like, threw n#ggas that [alley-oop] you know what I’m saying?,” he said. So I’m very grateful.

He also shared some valuable advice about the financial realities of breaking into the music industry. “When you, like, first startin’, it’s all puttin’ in,” he said. “Might not ever see the money you put back in. All the studio time, all that stuff, you can write it off on your taxes.”

YBN, which stood for “Young Boss N#ggas,” was formed online after the artists bonded over shared interests like gaming and music during their sessions playing Grand Theft Auto online. Cordae previously commented on his decision to drop YBN from his name in 2020 — citing ownership and other details as the grounds for his decision.

“First and foremost, Nahmir and Jay—those always gonna be my brothers in real life,” he said. “Those are my brothers. I think the world of them cats. Sometimes as friends, you grow apart and you have different visions for what you want to do. And that’s OK. It’s no love lost.”

Genius also interviewed Cordae for an episode of the outlet’s “Verified” series, during which he went into detail about why he discarded the YBN from his moniker.

“I remember when I dropped YBN,” he said. “It wasn’t a popular thing at the time. I was getting killed online. And I got tough skin. This is just what comes with the game. I don’t be trippin’ off anything. I can’t be talking to kids about ownership when we’re pushing this brand that we don’t even own.”

He added, “Obviously, it goes without saying, it ain’t nothing against Nahmir and Jay. Before I came to the conclusion that I was gonna drop the three letters, I called Nahmir and I asked for his blessing. That was what was most important to me, I don’t care what anybody else thinks.”

Busted: Diddy Claims Investigator In West Virginia Feeding Jail Communication To Feds

Diddy is ending 2024 with explosive allegations that the Feds have blatantly violated his constitutional rights in an attempt to get the upper hand as his trial for sex trafficking and RICO charges loom.

AllHipHop has learned that a Bureau of Prisons investigator based in West Virginia allegedly copied and shared Diddy’s privileged jailhouse notes with federal prosecutors, potentially jeopardizing his defense strategy.

“It is indisputable that a BOP investigator based in West Virginia has been feeding Mr. Combs’s jail communications to the prosecutors,” his attorney, Alexandra A.E. Shapiro, said. “[The investigator] inspected and copied Mr. Combs’s privileged notes.”

The notes, they argue, included defense strategies and confidential trial preparation plans.

Diddy’s legal team has decried the actions as a flagrant Fourth Amendment violation, pointing out that the government has failed to explain why the notes were targeted during a Bureau of Prisons sweep at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn.

The sweep, allegedly part of a broader effort to uncover corruption and contraband, resulted in the investigator photographing Diddy’s notes—actions the defense asserts were clearly intended to aid the prosecution.

“The government refuses to tell the Court what [the investigator] has to say about his motivations or thinking,” Shapiro snapped.

Shapiro further accused the prosecution of taking advantage of the situation, alleging that the improperly obtained materials had already influenced their case.

“The notes, on their face, reference how to discredit particular allegations and witness testimony; obtaining specific types of experts for trial; and collecting cross-examination material on particular witnesses,” the defense stated.,” Shapiro revealed.

According to the defense, such access could give the government an insurmountable edge in the courtroom. Adding to the controversy, Shapiro highlighted inconsistencies in the government’s explanations.

At one point, prosecutors claimed the search was for “institutional safety,” but they also admitted the notes were shared as part of a covert investigation into alleged obstruction and witness tampering.

“The government’s bald assertion that there was a legitimate penological purpose contradicts its own admissions about [the investigators] role in assisting the prosecutors to develop evidence against Mr. Combs for this case and, notably, is unsupported by any affirmation or declaration by the prosecutors, [the investigator], or any other BOP official,” Shapiro said.

As the May 2025 trial date inches closer, Diddy’s attorneys demand a special master to oversee the handling of privileged materials, arguing that “government attorneys cannot be trusted to protect the [Diddy’s] privileges.”

The memorandum calls for a Kastigar Hearing to determine whether evidence derived from the notes was improperly used.

If the judge sides with Diddy, all of the information could be suppressed, dealing a heavy blow to prosecutors.

Lil Uzi Vert Explains Why Leakers, Not His Music, Are “Trash” & Why Whippets Are Bad

Lil Uzi Vert is both doubling down on his previous sentiments while also clearing up some newfound misconceptions in his latest boisterous interview.

In his new appearance in Pitchfork’s Over/Under series, the Philadelphia-bred rapper’s takes on leakers and the growing trend of whippets, aka Galaxy Gas, have the internet buzzing for all the right reasons. While speaking on the subject of leaks, Uzi didn’t hold back on the culprits responsible for violating his creative privacy. In addition to calling out the “scammers” and “fans” directly, he made it known that his stance on their actions has him viewing them all as trashy peeping Tom’s.

“Leaks be so overrated,” Lil Uzi Vert said in part. “Leaks are not ready to be presented. When y’all get leaks, fans, or the leak police, or the leak scammers, or the people in those rooms and the discords and all that, when y’all sit there and y’all get 82 of my leaked songs, right, that I haven’t put together the right way, y’all sit here and say, ‘Oh, Lil Uzi is trash,’ y’all literally are basically watching me get dressed in my closet. I don’t got my clothes on yet. So y’all basically see me naked.”

Transitioning from metaphors to straight talk, he continued on by slamming those who judge him based on unfinished work.

“So y’all n#ggas is trash,” he said. “All y’all, y’all trash. Y’all not giving me a second to get dressed. So before I could dress the song up, y’all judge it. So leaks are horrible. It’s not even an over or underrated, horrible.”

As he shifted gears to address the rising popularity of whippets, a recreational drug trend that’s taken social media—and apparently Kanye West’s life by storm. His stance was just as animated and rigged as he appeared to once again speak from a place of experience.

“Overrated, don’t do whippets, them jawns, ooh, they is bad,” he said. “Yo. Don’t do them, they is bad. They have you eatin’ food you never ate. They have you hangin’ with people you never hung with. It’s just what I heard. Overrated though.”

Lil Uzi Vert then explained how his disdain for whippets goes beyond their short-lived high.

“Bro, I ain’t gonna lie, it be a lot of people in the world that want you to push a narrative,” he said in part. “But I’m not pushing no narrative unless, you know, it makes sense, you know? And money makes sense. And I’m gonna be real with you. Honestly, with no money and no narrative, whippets is really bad. Like, I’m really saying that. I don’t say nothing is bad. I’m the guy that love everything that’s bad. Whippets are f###### bad, bro. Like, really bad.”

Uzi’s comments on leaks and Whippets follow a number of headlines within the past few months in which his name has been associated with the hot-button topics. Last month he sparked fan concern upon the realase of his album Eternal Atake 2 during which he raps about being “on that NOS,” on the album’s opening track “We Good.”

He also offered a rare glimpse into his philosophy on releasing music, shedding light on why he chooses not to cater entirely to fans’ demands, in addition to hinting that leaks play a role in what music is made available to fans, during his appearance on Kai Cenat’s Mafioso 2 marathon Twitch stream.

“It’s not that I don’t want to give ’em what they want,” he clarified, revealing a more personal reason behind his approach. “When I wanted to give ’em what they want…they invaded my privacy and they let the world hear these sounds.”

Donald Trump Loses Appeal, Ordered To Pay $5M As Court Upholds Sexual Assault Verdict

President-elect Donald Trump has suffered a major legal setback after a federal appeals court upheld the $5m verdict for sexually abusing and defaming the magazine writer E Jean Carroll. 

In 2023, a jury awarded Carroll the sum after determining that Trump was liable for sexually assaulting her in a New York department store dressing room in the 1990s and subsequently defaming her by labeling her allegations a “hoax” after she went public. 

Trump denied the accusations and appealed the verdict, arguing it was “grossly excessive” and should be overturned due to what he described as unfair rulings by the judge during the nine-day trial. 

A three-judge panel at the 2nd U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals disagreed. The panel also dismissed Trump’s arguments for a new trial. 

In their ruling, the judges concluded “that Mr. Trump has not demonstrated that the district court erred in any of the challenged rulings.” 

Two other women who accused Donald Trump of sexual misconduct also testified at the 2023 hearing. The appeals court said their testimony helped establish “a repeated, idiosyncratic pattern of conduct” consistent with Carroll’s allegations.  

The opinion also referenced “Mr Trump’s statements in the [Access Hollywood] tape,” which also aligned with Carrol’s claims. The infamous recording from 2005 features the then-reality show star saying, “Grab them by the p*ssy.”

In addition to the $5m verdict, Carroll was awarded $83.3m in a separate defamation case. Donald Trump has denied Carroll’s allegations and is also appealing that verdict.

Memphis Bleek Vows To Address Dame Dash’s Claims JAY-Z Wrote For Him On New Podcast

Memphis Bleek is setting the record straight on Dame Dash’s recent claims that JAY-Z wrote for the former Roc-A-Fella Records artist.  

Dame Dash made the claims during a recent interview, arguing that Bleek was loyal to Hov because he was his ghostwriter. 

However, Memphis Bleek says Dame Dash is “wilding” and plans to address his remarks when he launches his podcast.  

He caught wind of Dash’s remarks after a fan reached out on social media, asking for clarification.  

“He wilding right now bro,” Bleek wrote alongside a pair of crying with laughter emojis.  

“I wish,” Bleek wrote in response to another fan asking if JAY-Z was his ghostwriter. “maybe I still be lit.” 

He also joked, “And people said I was whack [thinking face emoji] so if Jay wrote for me he whack [too].” 

Despite dismissing Dame Dash’s claims, Memphis Bleek isn’t done with the topic. He plans to address the ghostwriting claims, among other subjects, on his upcoming podcast.  

“These type of conversations Dame sparking is the reason #RocSolidPod gotta Drop!!” he added. “2025 we talking bout all this s### [crying with laughter emojis].” 

Dame Dash claimed JAY-Z was responsible for penning Memphis Bleek’s raps during a recent interview on The Art of Dialogue. 

“I don’t think Bleek wanted to take over [Roc-A-Fella]. I don’t think he had the ability to,” he claimed. “Jay was writing a lot of his rhymes. So if Jay retired, that meant he was out of business as well.”  

He went on to add, “I can understand Bleek’s loyalty to Jay because he had Jay as a ghostwriter.”  

Although he admitted “I probably shouldn’t have said that,” Dash added, “I didn’t think it was a secret. I thought everybody knew.” 

Kendrick Lamar: AllHipHop’s 2024 Rapper Of The Year

What Is There Left to Say About Kendrick Lamar?

Plenty.

At the end of 2023, Kendrick Lamar was living in relative obscurity—likely enjoying family life and basking in his successes. But those who know the Compton native, a sharp-witted Gemini with fierce lyrics, understand that he can be set off at any moment. And when J. Cole declared Drake, himself and Kendrick Lamar as “the big three” on “First Person Shooter” it lit a fuse.

That fuse was a slow, measured burn to a career-defining beef that’s been brewing for about a decade. It seemed like Cole set off, but it’s highly possible—likely even—that those bars just served as justification for getting medieval on Drake.  Nevertheless, after testing the temperature, J. Cole quietly tip-toed out of the room, which proved to be his saving grace. This was deep.

“Think I won’t drop the location/ I still got PTSD, motherf##k the big three, it’s just big me.”

“Yeah, get up with me, f– sneak dissing/ ‘First Person Shooter’/ I hope they came with three switches.”

“…‘Fore all your dogs gettin’ buried/ that’s a K with all these nines, he gon’ see ‘Pet Sematary.’”

K. Dot’s feature appearance on Future and Metro Boomin’s “Like That” set off a subsequent chain of events into an unprecedented cultural moment in Hip-Hop. A proverbial civil war ensued, dividing fans and factions in ways we’ve rarely seen before. It got ugly.

But here’s the truth: it didn’t matter whose side you were on. It didn’t matter if you didn’t believe in the depth of artistry. It didn’t matter what you felt. Kendrick Lamar’s impact became undeniable, a cultural phenomenon that simultaneously served as a rallying cry for some, a wake-up call for others and history in the making for everyone else. You were having that conversation wherever you were, however old you were or social status.

From a lyrical standpoint, Kendrick Lamar reintroduced dense, bar-heavy, nuanced and intricate flows. Each song was layered with Easter eggs, creating a soundscape akin to a sonic murder mystery. The level of detail was staggering. “euphoria” was my most listened to song of 2024 and “6:16 in LA” would have been right there if it was offered on DSPs.

Detractors (also known as haters) might dismiss it as overthinking—seeing things that aren’t there—but in reality, it was a testament to Kendrick’s artistry. It made me, and many others, revisit his catalog with a deeper appreciation for his genius. From the K. Dot era to the breakout with Dr. Dre to TDE and Black Hippy and now pgLang, the man has established himself as a creative G.O.A.T.

But we saw this goat come off the mountain and into the valley.

The lawsuits soon came. The return shots fired. And pleas were copped. But Kendrick did what everyone hoped he would to solidify the year: he dropped an album. GNX hit out of nowhere and cleared the table. It was the final stamp on his dominance.

Like “Not Like Us,” the album charted high, with multiple songs storming the charts and eclipsing nearly every release around that time. GNX delivered a blend of styles—celebratory, gritty and unmistakably West Coast. It reintroduced dancing and vibrant energy while emphatically re-centering the culture in the West.

Some even argued it did so with such authority that the West might hold the crown for years to come. Numerous new names have been introduced. Dody6, Lefty Gunplay, Wallie the Sensei, Siete7x, AzChike, Hitta J3, YoungThreat and PeysohIf all appear on GNX. When the dust settled, the so-called “big three” were no more. Kendrick Lamar had firmly established himself as the one. For those who truly love Hip-Hop, the shift was seismic—a defining moment for a new era. In Hip-Hop’s 51st year, Kendrick Lamar reminded us that hope, passion and greatness still exist within the culture at the highest levels.

This renaissance, of course, doesn’t rely solely on Kendrick Lamar. There are countless rappers, lyricists and MCs getting busy at both the underground and commercial levels. But every movement needs a catalyst to restore order. In 2024, that catalyst was Kendrick Lamar.

Epilogue: Kendrick Lamar’s contributions in 2024 reaffirm the need for heartier conversation in Hip-Hop. Like it or loathe it, he is a defining voice of our generation. He has not only enriched Hip-Hop with his groundbreaking artistry but also used his influence to inspire people. As the world continues to grapple with challenges, Kendrick Lamar’s music, activism and leadership offer a blueprint for how Hip-Hop can be both a mirror and a guide.

Katt Williams Expresses Remorse For Michael Jackson Joke, Thanks Janet Jackson

Although Katt Williams claims he never regrets his jokes, he is expressing his remorse over a past bit about Michael Jackson, revealing his gratitude that the late icon’s sister Janet hasn’t held it against him. 

The outspoken comic discussed the allegations against Michael Jackson in his 2006 comedy special The Pimp Chronicles Pt. 1.

The joke is one of his best-known from his earlier special, but Williams wishes it never made the cut.  

He opened up about the bit during a recent interview at the Vulture Festival.

Katt Williams claims he was “hurt” by Michael Jackson, and he expressed his pain through humor.

Nonetheless, Katt Williams is grateful the King Of Pop’s sister, Janet Jackson, never harbored a grudge. 

“Years later, Janet Jackson says she still loved me despite the jokes that I told about her brother is one of the most magnificent things,” Williams explained. “Just because, I say a lot of hilarious s###, but it costs me every time. I’m never unscathed in these situations.” 

Katt Williams also reflected on his “Everyday I’m Hustlin” opening bit from his 2007 special, American Hustle. The joke incorporates Rick Ross’ hit “Hustlin,’” and features the comedian playing out a range of scenarios appropriate for playing the song.  

He revealed the track cost him a whopping $80,000 but said it “conveys the message.” 

Despite his remarks about Michael and Janet Jackson, when asked what Rick Ross thinks of the joke, Katt Williams replied, “Who cares?”

Pleasure P claims he co-wrote Lil Wayne’s smash hit “Lollipop” and is entitled to a cut of the “$28 million” the song has made over the years. 

The former Pretty Ricky member took to Instagram Live over the weekend, reflecting on the hit. Released in 2008 by Lil Wayne, the track featured the late Static Major, who died weeks before the song dropped.  

However, according to Pleasure P, he co-wrote the Grammy Award-winning song and is entitled to his just dues. 

“I wrote that,” Pleasure P asserted. He also named other co-writers, including Lil Wayne, Rex Zamor, Mack Maine and Jim Jonsin.  

“I need my f###### plaque for this song, bro,” he added. “Y’all can do something about this s### but nobody care about me no more.” 

Pleasure P continued, claiming his former manager Zamor owns his publishing. “He got his name on this record, bro,” the 40-year-old stated. 

“Just give me what I deserve, bro,” he added, stating he was handling it correctly.  

According to Pleasure P, the song made “28 million dollars,” but he didn’t get a dime.  

“I’m a part of [Lil Wayne’s] biggest record,” Pleasure P continued. “1.3 million the first week. And I haven’t been able to celebrate that.”

This isn’t the first time Pleasure P claimed he co-wrote the Lil Wayne hit. During an interview last year, he said, “Me and Static wrote it together.” He claimed they recorded the song, “but I just didn’t feel it fit.” 

Nonetheless, he insisted that “elements” of his songwriting remained on the version released by Lil Wayne and Static Major.

The NYC rappers have been embroiled in a notorious decades-long feud, trading countless jabs at each other over the years. 

On Sunday (December 29) Ja Rule lashed out at 50 Cent on social media after getting trolled over rumors the G-Unit founder once bought hundreds of tickets to one of his concerts leaving the front rows empty.  

It all began when Ja Rule announced “My new year resolution is to be PETTY.” 

When a fan replied urging him to “be petty wit 50 cent,” referencing the empty seats prank, Ja Rule went off.  

“You believe this dumb s###???” he tweeted alongside a trio of cap emojis.  

Ja also repeated a previous offer of $10,000 to prove the rumor before blasting 50 Cent.  

“Like I said before I got 10k for ANYONE who can produce this footage a photo,” he added. “What city/venue did this said show take place??? @50cent is a fat f###### LIAR.”  

He also poked fun at a “crazy” unflattering photo of 50 Cent and revealed he can’t wait for him to respond.  

Back in 2018, 50 Cent taunted Ja Rule on Instagram, claiming he bought 200 tickets to a Ja’s concert in Arlington, Texas, spending $3,000 on Groupon solely to keep the seats vacant.

Meanwhile, 50 Cent doubled down during a recent interview, insisting he bought “the first four rows.” 

“They were cheap tickets. The tickets were very affordable. They were on StubHub,” he said while on Big Boy TV earlier this month.  

Fif said he purchased around 200 hundred seats for one of Ja Rule’s shows. He described the prank as “fun” and “something to do.” 

He added, “I wanted him to feel like he needed to connect with the crowd, and they were four or five rows back.”

The 21-year-old joined the platform just six days after turning 18 and claimed she made $1 million in her first six hours. Earlier this year, it was reported she had earned $57 million since 2021.

Travis Hunter is reportedly signing with Lil Wayne’s agency, Young Money APAA Sports, for his on-field representation in the NFL. 

Hunter concluded his college football career on Saturday night (December 28) in the Alamo Bowl. Now, the Heisman Trophy winner will be headed into the NFL draft with representation from the Young Money Entertainment founder’s sports agency, according to Front Office Sports. 

Hunter joins the high-profile athlete clients represented by Young Money, which operates divisions in the NFL, NBA, soccer, and college sports. Lil Wayne’s agency will handle Hunter’s on-field representation and playing contracts. Young Money reportedly triumphed over several other agencies to sign Hunter, including WME, CAA, Klutch Sports Group, and Athletes First. 

Hunter retained SMAC Entertainment for his off-field representation. The agency also works with Hunter’s former coach at the Colorado Buffaloes Deion Sanders, and his son Shedeuer. 

Travis Hunter shouted out Lil Wayne at the 2024 Heisman Trophy ceremony, sparking speculation about him eventually signing with the agency. Young Money already represents Hunter’s former Jackson State teammate, Isaiah Bolden, who now plays for the New England Patriots.  

Hunter and his teammate, Shedeur Sanders, are considered among the top prospects entering the 2025 NFL draft. 

Meanwhile, Shedeur recently came to Hunter’s defense amid criticism of his fiancée Leanna Lenne.

Cardi B is apparently over living in Atlanta and ready to ditch her massive home she once lived in with her estranged husband, Offset. On Sunday (December 29), the outspoken rapper shared a pair of tweets indicating she was ready to move back to her home state—New York.

“My casa,” she tweeted alongside a photo of the sprawling mansion. “I don’t want it nomore tho.” When a fan was asked why, she replied, “I don’t like living in Atlanta…I actually don’t like living nowhere else but NY.”

Par for the course, fans of Cardi B were entertained by the comments and had a few suggestions for what she should do with the home.

“Start a program for women who’ve been through Domestic Violence and let them stay there(you could charge a small fee like $100-$150/mo for rent once they get a job until they get back on their feet) then they could get back into society and leave your place,” one person wrote, while another said, “Cardi, turn it into a mixed use development with multi-family housing in a walkable neighborhood.”

Cardi B moved to Atlanta in 2017. After marrying rapper Offset from the Migos in September 2017, she relocated to his home city to start their life together. As anyone remotely paying attention knows, their relationship has been plagued by infidelity rumors and, more recently, fighting online.

In September 2020, Cardi B filed for divorce from Offset after nearly three years of marriage, citing irreconcilable differences. At the time, she emphasized her desire for peace and independence, stating she was tired of the ongoing drama and rumors of infidelity surrounding Offset.

Academy Award-winner Gwyneth Paltrow has weighed in on the debate, alleging that her year-end statistics also misrepresented her listening patterns.

Jimmy Carter, the 39th president of the United States and a champion of peace and human rights, died Sunday (December 29) at the age of 100, marking the end of a life that stretched from rural Georgia to global influence.

Carter, the longest-living U.S. president, passed away months after entering hospice care at home earlier this year, according to a statement from his family.

His son, Chip Carter, reflected on his father’s impact, saying, “My father was a hero, not only to me but to everyone who believes in peace, human rights, and unselfish love.”

He continued, “My brothers, sister, and I shared him with the rest of the world through these common beliefs. The world is our family because of the way he brought people together, and we thank you for honoring his memory by continuing to live these shared beliefs.”

Incoming President Donald Trump reacted to the news with a strongly worded statement that noted their differences while showing respect for Carter.

“While I strongly disagreed with him philosophically and politically, I also realized that he truly loved and respected our Country, and all it stands for. He worked hard to make America a better place, and for that I give him my highest respect. He was a truly good man and, of course, will be greatly missed. He was also very consequential, far more than most Presidents, after he left the Oval Office. Warmest condolences from Melania and I to his wonderful family!” Donald Trump said.

Carter, a Democrat, served a single term in the White House from 1977 to 1981, where achievements like the Camp David Accords marked his presidency but also setbacks, such as the Iran hostage crisis.

He was defeated in the 1980 election by Republican Ronald Reagan.

After leaving the presidency, Carter redefined what it meant to be a former president, dedicating decades to advancing diplomacy, championing human rights, and eradicating disease in underserved regions.

His post-presidential work earned him a Nobel Peace Prize in 2002 for his “decades of untiring effort to find peaceful solutions to international conflicts, to advance democracy and human rights, and to promote economic and social development.”

Earlier this year, Carter’s family revealed his decision to spend his final days at home, supported by hospice care. “This decision was made with the full support of his family and his medical team,” the statement noted.

Carter’s death comes just over a year after the passing of his wife, Rosalynn Carter, who died in November 2023 at the age of 96.

The Carters were married in 1946, a union that spanned 77 years and produced four children: Jack, Chip, Jeff, and Amy.

The couple also left behind 11 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

From his humble beginnings in Plains, Georgia, to his tireless humanitarian work that spanned the globe, Carter’s journey was one of service and steadfast values.

Rising professional boxing star Paul Bamba has died at age 35, just days after achieving his latest career milestone in New Jersey.

Grammy-winning R&B artist Ne-Yo, who also served as the WBA Gold titleholder’s manager, confirmed the tragic news in a statement shared on Instagram.

“It is with profound sorrow that we announce the passing of beloved son, brother, friend and boxing champion Paul Bamba, whose light and love touched countless lives,” the statement read.

On December 21, the cruiserweight champion secured the WBA Gold title, triumphing in what would be one of the final fights of his career.

#MAGACultMorons Trends As Republican In-Fighting Heats Up

A MAGA civil war is brewing following the re-election of Donald Trump. On Sunday (December 29), the hashtag #MAGACultMorons became a trending Twitter (X) topic as more and more Republicans are coming to terms with their potentially terrible choice for president.

More specifically, Elon Musk is advocating for the expansion and reform of the H-1B visa program to enable U.S. companies, particularly in the technology sector, to hire highly skilled foreign workers from India more efficiently. He argues that attracting top international talent is essential for maintaining America’s competitive edge in technology and innovation.

Musk, an immigrant himself, believes that the current U.S. immigration system is “super slow & extremely difficult to navigate” and supports increasing and expediting legal immigration for hardworking and honest individuals who love America.

Trump has recently expressed support for the H-1B program, stating, “I’ve always liked the visas, I have always been in favour of the visas. That’s why we have them.”

Musk’s position has sparked debates among Trump’s base, with some critics arguing that the H-1B program undercuts American workers. In response, Musk has proposed reforms to the program, such as raising the minimum salary and adding yearly maintenance costs for H-1B visas, to address concerns about misuse and to ensure it serves its intended purpose of attracting top-tier talent.

But an Indian man named Sidharth sparked a debate after he tweeted, “I’m deeply questioning my decision to support the Republican party after witnessing the persistent and dehumanizing attacks directed at me and my community by individuals who, despite hiding behind a vaneer of respectability, openly harbor and amplify racist ideologies.”

People replied with comments like, “It was cool, when the wrath was at Black folks!!! Now that the scope pointed at them, he has reservations” and “we tried to warn you.” Other people said things like, “Some light-skinned Latinos are going to get that same Wake Up call….soon!” and “When FAFO (f### around and find out) becomes a reality!”

And the memes, of course, were plentiful.

Trump is expected to take office in January 2025. Until then, the in-fighting between Republicans will likely continue. For the uninitiated, the MAGA civil war refers to ideological and political disagreements within the “Make America Great Again” (MAGA) movement.

While MAGA has traditionally been united around Trump’s policies and leadership, splits have emerged on various issues, including immigration, foreign policy and trade.

Some MAGA supporters favor stricter immigration controls, opposing programs like the H-1B visa. Others, including Trump in recent statements, have supported skilled immigration, seeing it as essential for economic growth. Other disagreements about the balance between protectionism and globalization have also divided the movement. Some favor prioritizing American workers over any form of international labor.

YSL Defendant Sues Over Hellish Conditions Inside Fulton County Jail

A former defendant in Atlanta’s high-profile Young Slime Life gang conspiracy trial with Young Thug is accusing jail officials of widespread neglect and unconstitutional treatment.

After a lengthy trial, Shannon Stillwell was found guilty on only one charge: possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. He was sentenced to 10 years, but the judge commuted the sentence to credit for time served, with the balance to be served on probation.

But now Stillwell, alongside former detainee Nkenegen Hambrick, has filed a federal class-action lawsuit against Fulton County Sheriff Pat Labat and Chief Jailer John Jackson.

The pair claim the conditions at the Fulton County Jail are both inhumane and life-threatening. The lawsuit paints a grim picture of life within the jail’s deteriorating walls.

In their filing, the plaintiffs describe overcrowding, decaying infrastructure, unsanitary conditions, and unchecked violence.

Allegations of vermin infestations, insufficient medical care, and security lapses further expose what they call a “blatant disregard” for inmates’ Eighth and 14th Amendment rights.

The allegations are disturbingly detailed.

Stillwell, who was stabbed twice while awaiting trial, claims those attacks stemmed from broken cell doors and an absence of security officers.

Hambrick describes similarly harrowing experiences, alleging that the facility’s unhygienic conditions led to untreated infections after he sustained 20 stab wounds during his time at the jail in 2023.

In fact, there have been 12 stabbings at the Fulton County Jail since June 2024, highlighting ongoing security issues and violence among inmates.

“The Fulton County Jail’s management has not taken adequate steps to prevent violence, leaving detainees at constant risk of harm. We are seeking immediate reforms to ensure no more lives are endangered within these walls,” said attorney Michael Harper, who filed the suit on behalf of Stillwell and Hambrick.

The chaos within the jail, according to the lawsuit, is exacerbated by insufficient separation of inmates based on gang affiliations or threat levels, fostering an environment where violence thrives.

The legal filing arrives on the heels of a U.S. Department of Justice report condemning the Fulton County Jail, citing constitutional failings in its management and facilities.

“The Justice Department’s report concluded that Fulton County and the Fulton County Sheriff’s Office allowed unsafe and unsanitary conditions at the Jail. As a result, people incarcerated in the Fulton County Jail suffered harms from pest infestation and malnourishment and were put at substantial risk of serious harm from violence by other incarcerated people — including homicides, stabbings and sexual abuse,” said Attorney General Merrick B. Garland. “The unconstitutional and unlawful conditions at the Fulton County Jail have persisted for far too long, and we are committed to working with Fulton County and the Fulton County Sherrif’s office to remedy them.”

The lawsuit now places Fulton County’s jail management practices under the scrutiny of the federal court system.
