Kevin Gates Backs Lil Wayne’s “Lightskin Hate” Theory About Drake

Kevin Gates has found some common ground with Lil Wayne regarding his recent comments about Drake. On Monday (January 29), TMZ caught up with Gates, who expressed his opinion at length concerning Wayne’s comments about the plight of lightskin artists. However, instead of generalizing his comments to focus on his interactions in the rap world, Gates opted to expand his remarks to cover a much more broad spectrum of society.

“No, I ain’t going just say just rappers I’ll say like, just bright people,” Gates said in part. “Bright people they have it. They the first ones to get picked. Some people never did nothing ain’t even gangster, they just ugly. So people stay away from them.”

Gates continued, revealing how he has personally shouldered the flak he’s received and utilized it to affirm his identity’s authenticity.

“But like I’ll say, adversity, builds character you know what I’m saying, so I’ve been battle tested,” he added. “I’m stamped, I’m sealed I’m certified and I’m approved.”

Lil Wayne recently appeared on The Richard Sherman Podcast, during which Sherman questioned the Undisputed sportscaster about the negativity directed at his protégé.

“Why they be hating on Drake like this? That’s what I don’t understand,” the five-time NFL Pro Bowler asked Lil Wayne on the show. The 5x-Grammy Award winner responded, “He’s red, he’s light-skinned.”

The “2 Phones” lyricist went on to explain the the significance of the title of his upcoming album in addition to plugging his fledging new coffee bred Rituals.

Jam Master Jay Trial Begins As Prosecutors Say Greed Fueled Killers

A New York jury heard opening statements in the Jam Master Jay murder trial on Monday (January 29). Assistant U.S. Attorney Miranda Gonzalez accused Karl Jordan Jr. and Ronald Washington of killing the Run-DMC for cutting the two men out of a drug deal.

Jordan and Washington are two of the three people charged in the murder of Jam Master Jay, whose real name was Jason Mizell. The third defendant, Jay Bryant, will be tried separately.

“October 30, 2002 was the last day of Jason Mizell’s life,” Gonzalez said, per the New York Daily News. “It was an ambush, an execution, and you’ll learn that it was motivated by greed and by revenge.”

Prosecutors claimed Jam Master Jay acquired 10 kilos of cocaine and planned to distribute it with the help of his alleged killers. The late DJ and Washington drove to Baltimore to see a dealer, who refused to work with Washington. As a result, Jordan and Washington were left out of a deal worth $200,000.

Jordan and Washington allegedly got their revenge by killing Jam Master Jay with the help of Bryant. Prosecutors said Jordan shot the DJ in the head and wounded Uriel “Tony” Rincon. Jam Master Jay’s manager Lydia High and Rincon are expected to testify in the trial.

Washington’s lawyer Ezra Spilke told jurors the prosecution had “no clue” who actually killed Jam Master Jay. The attorney characterized the case as taped together by glue and raised doubts about the validity of the witness testimony.

“We’re not saying they’re all a bunch of liars,” he said. “We’re not saying that. But common sense tells you that memories can fade.”

Jordan and Washington pleaded not guilty to murder charges. They face at least 20 years in prison if convicted. Prosecutors will not seek the death penalty.

Kanye West Takes Woman’s Camera & Berates Paparazzi Over Question About Wife

Kanye West’s beef with the paparazzi continued in Los Angeles on Monday (January 29). The controversial artist grabbed a woman’s camera after she ran up on him and asked if his wife Bianca Censori had free will.

“Don’t come ask me that dumb ass s###,” he told her. “I’m a person. You got kids? Exactly. So, what do you do? Who do you work for? Why do you feel like it’s OK—I’m a human being … Y’all set celebrities up, all this b#######. I don’t give a f### what y’all got to do. What y’all got to do? What y’all got to say? Don’t come at me with that s### … What, you think because you a white woman you can walk up on me like that and ask me some dumb ass s### like that?”

Kanye reprimanded the woman for her approach during their face-to-face confrontation. The masked rapper/producer was outraged by the suggestion of him controlling his wife, calling it “disrespectful.” Ye held the camera and fired off his own questions, telling the woman he was on his way to Charlie Wilson’s Walk of Fame ceremony.

“This is America,” he said. “You got free will or you work for the devil? I’m a legend. You understand that? I’m here to support Charlie Wilson. You come ask me some dumb ass s### about my wife. That’s my wife! You understand? You wasn’t asking s### when I couldn’t see my kids.”

Ye eventually gave the camera back to the woman as their tense interaction settled down. He even offered her a job, promising to pay her more than TMZ.

“Whatchu make a year?” Kanye said. “I’ll pay you double what they paying you. You wanna work for me instead? Now you smiling. Get her contact.”

“@42_dugggg Wasn’t robbed I made sure that didn’t happen,” Wack 100 wrote on Instagram. “He’s only guilty of getting hit in his mouth & not fighting back. Other than that he’s a rappers gangsta. I mean who ever labels 42 as a fighter. Lil guy feet do want eve touch the floor when he takes a Sh!t ‼️”

Wack 100 previously told his version of the story, claiming Offset took money from 42 Dugg’s pockets after the Detroit-bred rapper got upset over the dice game. Earlier this month, 42 Dugg denied anyone swiped his money on Instagram Live.

“Dugg got his pockets ran, a n#### swung, fired on Dugg, hit him in his—and ain’t nobody died behind this s###, bro?” he said. “My money … We don’t even play like that.”

Breakfast Club Reveals Charlamagne Tha God & DJ Envy’s New Co-Host

The Breakfast Club’s search for a new co-host concluded on Monday (January 29). Radio giant iHeartMedia announced the hiring of comedian Jess Hilarious, confirming rumors of her joining the popular morning show.

“I’m very excited to have Jess Hilarious join The Breakfast Club,” iHeartMedia Executive Vice President of Programming Thea Mitchem said. “She is a force in her own right, an actress, comedian, podcaster, and now, the co-host of The Breakfast Club. Jess was the standout choice to join Charlamagne and DJ Envy to build upon The Breakfast Club’s legacy of entertaining, informing and enlightening the community.”

Jess emerged as an obvious candidate to replace former co-host Angela Yee after guest-hosting The Breakfast Club in 2023. The comedian was one of the multiple guest hosts who filled in following Yee’s 2022 departure.

Last December, Jess said she landed the job as the permanent co-host of the show. But Jess was noticeably absent from the show during the first few weeks of 2024. Charlamagne Tha God and DJ Envy provided no answers as they discussed the host search on the air and dodged questions about Jess.

The Breakfast Club and Jess ended the speculation by releasing hype videos on Monday. The videos poked fun at the chatter of her supposedly losing the job opportunity and the doubt surrounding the show’s future.

Jess will debut as Charlamagne and DJ Envy’s permanent co-host on February 5. The comedian joins the Power 105.1 radio team after appearing on the TV series Rel and Nick Cannon’s Wild ‘N Out.

“I’m looking forward to joining forces with one of the largest media platforms,” she said. “I’m confident that taking the third seat at The Breakfast Club will show people that Jess Hilarious is not just comedy, but culture.”

Nicki Minaj Skewered Over “Trash” Megan Thee Stallion Diss Track

Nicki Minaj released a diss track aimed at Megan Thee Stallion on Sunday night (January 28). Titled “Big Foot,” the song was a direct response to Megan’s “Hiss” single that appeared to take a shot at Minaj’s husband, Kenneth Petty.” But most people aren’t feeling the track—even some of the Barbz, her ever-loyal fanbase. Shortly after its release, multiple people deemed the song “trash,” which caught Minaj’s attention.

“Whenever you see the words ‘coke rant” you know they mad,” she tweeted. “If y’all hear how loud I’m laughing. I’ve never done coke in my life. But if I did, I’d do it proudly. Waited up all night for this ‘ass’ song tho right?”

Still, that didn’t stop the criticism from coming. “Just finished listening to Nicki Minaj’s little clap back. Listen twice just to make sure I didn’t miss anything and I have 3 words,” one person said. “Pure Unadulterated Trash. I’m here for the rap beef but that what Nicki gave is not even worthy of a response by Meg. Do better!”

Another said, ” I don’t get it.. I call it trash ‘I’m not a real barb’ if I called it good then I am… Ian kissing nb a##. like I said s### was trash kill ya producer. Dumb a## fan base… Y’all don’t kno how to be honest w ya self n that’s why ya mad.” Other comments included, “The Ki is @NICKIMINAJ only posting Barb accounts reactions to that trash #bigfoot like the GP is not on her side oh it’s bad for #superfreakygrandma” and “That #BIGFOOT song is so fckn trash. So not only did Megan Thee Stallion gag Nicki Minaj, she made her spiral for 3 days straight, and put out a garbage azz diss track. Nicki Minaj just log out for me babes cuz girl wtf was that.”

The beef between the two exploded after the release of “Hiss,” which reference “Megan’s Law,” a law related to publicizing information about registered sex offenders. Many interpreted the line as a direct strike at Petty due to his criminal history. Over the last two days, Minaj retaliated with a series of Instagram Lives and social media rants, hurling numerous insults at Megan Thee Stallion, including jabs at her deceased mother. She also ended “Big Foot” by talking about Megan’s late mother.

Minaj, however, appears to be proud of the song. Her latest tweets boast about the song’s performance and take a shot at TMZ‘s headline: “Nicki Minaj Releases ‘Big Foot’ Diss Track Aimed At Megan Thee Stallion, Fans Reject It.” She replied, “‘Reject’ a song that just broke a record for highest debut in APPLE MUSIC HISTORY. With none of these paid shenanigans. told y’all about TMZ long time ago. That’s another company they’re ‘allegedly’ in bed with.”

Chance The Rapper has released his first song of 2024. “I Will Be Your (Black Star Line Freestyle)” arrived on Sunday (January 28).

“Just some bars and a soul sample for your timeline,” Chance The Rapper tweeted. The Chicago native shared the entire “I Will Be Your (Black Star Line Freestyle)” record on his X account.

21 Savage’s “American Dream” Holds Onto No. 1 Spot For Second Week

21 Savage still has the most popular album in America. The London-born, Atlanta-raised rap star’s American Dream remained in the Billboard 200 chart’s top spot for back-to-back weeks.

American Dream debuted at No. 1 on last week’s Billboard 200 with 133,000 album-equivalent units. 21 Savage added another 78,000 units in the project’s second week of release.

That 78,000 amount was enough for 21 to hold off Morgan Wallen’s One Thing at a Time (63,000 units) from taking the lead. Drake’s For All the Dogs (53,000 units) rose one position to No. 3.

American Dream became 21 Savage’s fourth No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart. Previously, he reached the pinnacle of the rankings with 2019’s I Am > I Was, 2020’s Savage Mode II and 2022’s Her Loss.

Only I Am > I Was also managed to stay at No. 1 for more than one week. The Grammy-nominated studio LP secured a two-week run as the Billboard 200 chart leader.

21 Savage heads into the 66th Annual Grammy Awards on February 4 with six nominations. His collaborative project, Her Loss, with Drake made it into the Best Rap Album category.

In addition, the duo’s “Rich Flex” picked up nods for Best Rap Song and Best Rap Performance. Savage has one Grammy victory in his career. “a lot” featuring J. Cole won Best Rap Song in 2020.

American Dream includes guest appearances by Doja Cat, Young Thug, Metro Boomin, Lil Durk, Travis Scott, Summer Walker and more. 21 Savage got a promotional boost for his album thanks to an interview with Club Shay Shay.

Nicki Minaj Denies Cocaine Abuse Allegations: “I’ve Never Done Coke In My Life”

Nicki Minaj’s behavior over the last few days had many social media users questioning if she has a substance abuse problem. The rap superstar went on an extended tirade on social media about Megan Thee Stallion following the release of Meg’s “Hiss” single.

According to Nicki Minaj, the rumors about her having cocaine-fueled rants are completely false. On Monday (January 29), while promoting her “Big Foot” diss record, the 41-year-old rapper addressed the speculation that she spent more than 72 hours on a drug binge.

“Whenever you see the words ‘coke rant’ you know they mad,” Minaj wrote. “If y’all hear how loud I’m laughing. I’ve never done coke in my life. But if I did, I’d do it proudly. Waited up all night for this ‘a##’ song tho right?”

This wasn’t he first time Nicki Minaj had to address online rumblings about a possible addiction to narcotics, specifically cocaine. While denying coke usage, the “Pills n Potions” performer admitted to using other drugs in May 2021.

“I wouldn’t be embarrassed about any f###ing drugs I did, that’s why I talk about the motherf###ing drugs I do in my motherf###ing music,” Minaj said at the time. “Always have, always f###ing will. If I’m off ’em, I’m off ’em, child.”

Nicki Minaj’s “Big Foot” has been met with mixed reviews so far. The Pink Friday 2 album creator’s loyal fans have been praising the song. Minaj retweeted Barbz’s positive posts about the track.

However, a lot of the reactions to “Big Foot” have been negative as well. Many X users panned Minaj’s audio clapback to Megan Thee Stallion. In addition, commenters on the official YouTube version of “Big Foot” clowned the song. Read some of the YouTube comments below.

Plies Calls On NFL To Stop Forcing Taylor Swift On Football Fans

Plies is not a diehard Swiftie. The Florida-bred rapper wants to see less of Taylor Swift during Kansas City Chiefs games.

Taylor Swift became one of the most talked about topics of the 2023 NFL season. The music megastar’s relationship with Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce has dominated a lot of the news coverage about the team.

“Dear @NFL media: Can [you] please stop forcing Taylor Swift on football fans!” Plies tweeted on Sunday (January 28). The broadcast regularly cuts to Swift in the luxury suite while Kansas City is playing.

Plies continued, “We get it she’s at the game & she’s a phenomenal artist! But damn if we want to see her this much we’ll go to her concert!! Y’all show her more than y’all show the owner of the Chiefs! We love her but DAMN!”

The “Shawty” hitmaker will likely see more of Taylor Swift at Super Bowl LVIII on February 11. The Kansas City Chiefs will face off against the San Francisco 49ers for the NFL championship in Paradise, Nevada.

Plies also shared his early prediction for Super Bowl LVIII. Despite complaining about the NFL constantly putting a spotlight on Taylor Swift, the former college football player has the Chiefs winning.

“I don’t see San Francisco beating the Chiefs the way SF has played the last couple [of] weeks! The Chiefs clicking at the right time. But anything is possible!! Should be a good game!!!” Plies posted.

Nicki Minaj Slammed By Blogger Mentioned In “Big Foot” Diss: “No Family, No Friends, Just Coke”

Nicki Minaj finally fired back at Megan Thee Stallion with the new “Big Foot” track. The song also featured a line trashing celebrity news blogger KenBarbie.

“If you don’t apologize to your mama in 24 hours. S###’s gonna get uglier than KenBarbie, OK? Don’t play,” Nicki Minaj stated. KenBarbie has a close relationship with Minaj’s other longtime rival, Cardi B.

After hearing “Big Foot,” the internet personality took to Twitter (X) to respond to Minaj. KenBarbie’s post included documents that allegedly showed the rapper is in financial trouble.

“Nicki how are you going to buy anyone’s catalog when you got liens on your publishing and your tour deal?” KenBarbie tweeted. “You blew your advance from your last tour and now this tour is collateral, so you’re literally bout to tour for free cause you owe Uncle Sam money.”

Megan Thee Stallion’s “Hiss” kicked off the latest round in this highly-publicized battle involving Nicki Minaj. A bar in “Hiss” appeared to be a subliminal shot at Minaj’s husband, Kenneth Petty, who’s a registered sex offender.

“That man is keeping you all drugged up and mixing your coke wit horse tranquilizers and Ozempic so he can make you more stupid while taking your money and letting you look crazy,” KenBarbie added. “YOU HAVE TO BUY LOVE. You have no room to judge anybody on anything.”

KenBarbie continued, “You have no friends (hence why they got you out here looking like a complete maniac while they ‘yesss queen!’ you to death just to keep their brownie points and your nasty ego under control) your brothers are pedophiles, your real dad is [a] drug addict like you, and your lil sister is living in the projects.”

The gossip commentator concluded, “You might be ‘Nicki Minaj’ on the surface but deep down inside you’re that hurt lil girl that your mom abandoned in Trinidad till you was five and that’s why you hate her, you want to [talk] about apologizing to mothers like you didn’t hit your own mom and as it came out your own mouth you still haven’t forgiven her… Muah no family, no friends [face blowing a kiss] just coke.”

Meanwhile, “Hiss” has found success on streaming platforms. The official music video for Megan Thee Stallion’s latest track is trending at No. 1 in YouTube’s music section. “Hiss” also currently sits at No. 1 on Apple Music’s Top 100: USA chart. The single climbed to No. 5 on Spotify’s Daily Top Songs USA chart.

Eminem Addresses 50 Cent Collab Album Rumors: “Whatever He Needs From Me, I’m There”

Eminem and 50 Cent have a well-documented friendship. They’ve worked and performed with each other multiple times over the years but have never collaborated on a joint album.

However, according to a new interview with the Detroit legend, it’s time for Fiddy to drop a new project, and he’s willing to do whatever the G-Unit founder needs to make it happen.

DJ Whoo Kid shared a phone call with Eminem on Sunday (January 28). During the conversation, Whoo Kid asked him what he’s got coming up this year.

“Absolutely nothing,” Slim Shady joked before revealing he’s “working on a little something.”

DJ Whoo Kid then told Eminem he heard a rumor about the possible joint album with 50 Cent.

“Where’d that come from?” he replied. “I don’t know whose idea that was but that’s crazy. I’m trying to get him to make another album so bad. We need another 50 album, like really bad. Fif is on a roll right now. He’s been on a roll since the tour.”

He addressed a possible Fiddy project and doubled back on a potential collab album adding, “Whatever he needs from me, I’m here. That s### would be crazy though, an album with me and him.”

Nonetheless, it seems fans won’t be getting anything from Eminem, including a 50 Cent collab, at least not until football season ends. Em’s beloved Detroit Lions have his full attention.

“My life is literally on pause right now until this s### iis all said and done,” he explained. “Our team is amazing right now. We can’t change anything. I don’t even wanna change the f###ing hat I wore last week. Like whenever we win, I’m so superstitious bro, I be wearing the same underwear all year. I haven’t changed them one time.”

Chrisean Rock Says “I Don’t Want To Be Saved” But Fans More Concerned For Her Son

Chrisean Rock sparked concern after debuting a new face tattoo of Blueface a month after covering an existing inking of the rapper on her neck, but fans are more concerned over her son’s health.

Many fans believed the tattoo was fake and claimed the reality TV star was clout chasing. However, hours after showing off her new ink, Chrisean took to Instagram to confirm the tattoo was real.

“It’s not fake,” she insisted. “I don’t know why y’all keep saying it’s fake. I got it done professionally at a place where they do some real good s###.”

Chrisean also said she and Blueface plan to give it another try when he gets out of jail. She claimed she and Blue are unhappy with anybody else before implying the MILF Music founder was faking his relationship with Jaidyn Alexis for financial purposes.

She also responded to a commenter who said they couldn’t save her. “B#### I don’t wanna be saved, obviously.”

However, this did little to quash concerns for her or her son Chrisean Rock Jr. The baby cried in the background while Chrisean talked to her fans on the stream, leaving many worried about her parenting skills and her baby’s health.

“chrisean more worried about talkin on blueface when nobody literally cares or asked,” one X user wrote. “Meanwhile her baby struggling to breathe, crying, coughing, colicky, choking and sitting by himself she kept talking, pick him up, put him down, and cont. to talk about blue.”

Others feared for her mental state following her latest tattoo and desire to reunite with Blueface.

“This n#### Blueface said f### her baby, exposed the babies private parts all online and stupid ass Chrisean goes and gets a tattoo of his face on her face. She is NOT ok,” another person added.

Nicki Minaj Teases “4 More” Songs After Dropping Megan Thee Stallion Diss “Big Foot”

Nicki Minaj dropped her Megan Thee Stallion diss track “Big Foot” and says she has four more tracks ready and waiting.

“Big Foot” trended No. 1 in the U.S. on X (formerly Twitter) less than 30 minutes after its release Sunday night (January 28). The song is Minaj’s response to the “Megan’s Law” lyric in Meg’s latest song, “Hiss.”

The NYC icon unleashed on The Houston native, questioning whether she was actually shot by Tory Lanez, “F### you get shot with no scar?” and accusing her of lying about the incident.

Nicki Minaj clearly wanted to ensure her message was clear, sharing the lyrics on social media:

“F###### your best friend man is crazy, you the type though You was lying to the Queen then you went lying to the King GALE, that 30-year-old tea so stale Kylie kicked you out and made you stumble to the car.”

Elsewhere on the track, Nicki Minaj accused Megan Thee Stallion of “lying on your dead momma.”

Hours before Minaj released “Big Foot,” a Nicki Minaj fan account allegedly shared the address where Megan’s mother is buried. “Barbz, you know what to do,” the @officiallyminaj account posted.

However, concerned fans said they contacted the cemetery to warn them. Additionally, the account sharing the address appears to have disabled.

Meanwhile, Megan Thee Stallion seemingly is unbothered, sharing a cheeky photo on Instagram Sunday.

Nonetheless, it appears Nicki Minaj is just heating up and has several other songs in the tuck.

“I have 4 more baby. 4,” she replied to a fan who said she believes another track is coming.

Minaj also addressed allegations she was high on coke when she wrote the song.

“Whenever you see the words “coke rant” you know they mad,” she stated. “If y’all hear how loud I’m laughing. I’ve never done coke in my life. But if I did, I’d do it proudly. Waited up all night for this “ass” song tho right?”

Benzino Delivers Eminem Diss “Vulturius:” Mentions Proof & Past Drug Addictions

Benzino has fired back at Eminem with a new diss track despite previously saying he is “too old for this rap,” and wanted to fight the Detroit legend.

On Sunday night (January 28) the former editor of The Source shared “Vulturius,” targeting his old foe.

“Candy ass Eminem/B#### ass feminine/Mad he lack melanin/Turned on V##### turned up again,” Benzino raps to open the track. “Ah s###, Benzino versus Jim Crow/know a custy when I see one/How many times you overdose?”

Benzino continued: “Cracker on crack who rap/But hate black and it shows/Invade our culture then insult us/Time you get exposed.”

Elsewhere on the track, Benzino says he “don’t f### with 50 [Cent],” and mentions Em’s childhood friend and D12 rapper Proof who was killed in a 2006 shooting:

“Plan my funeral please/You shot who?/Square ain’t even go Circle the block for proof.”

Benzino also addresses his relationship with daughter Coi Leray and says she allowed “the industry” to divide them.

Eminem went off on Benzino on his new track titled “Doomsday Pt. 2.”  The song features on Lyrical Lemonade’s All Is Yellow album, which dropped on Friday (January 26). Check it out at the end of the page.

Benzino initially responded by challenging Eminem to a boxing match.

“Nah bro sorry. That ain’t it. People in Detroit are f##### up,” he wrote. “He got millions. Doing absolutely nothing. Why won’t he fight me? Boxing. I’ll beat the link off him. He can’t even go across the street his entire life without security. I’m too old for this rap … Bro he’s too old and nobody cares. C’mon man grow up.”

Nicki Minaj Drops Seething Diss Track “Big Foot” As Megan Thee Stallion War Wages On

The feud between Nicki Minaj and Megan Thee Stallion has exploded with the release of Minaj’s latest song, “Big Foot,” which dropped on Sunday (January 28). As the title suggests, the track is a direct shot at Megan.

“Your flare’s such a bar,” she begins. “Drinkin’ a bottle of Henny through a straw/B####, you better stop the dialogue ‘fore I hit call and buy your catalogue (Ha-ha-ha, ha-ha-ha-ha)/Sigh/How you f### your mother man when she die?/How you go on Gayle King and can’t cry?/Chile, bye/Big foot but you still a small fry/Swearin’ on your dead mother when you lie.”

It only gets worse from there with, “This little beggin’ w#### talkin’ ’bout Megan’s law (Uh)/For a free beat, you can hit Megan raw (Uh)/If you a ghostwriter, Pardi in Megan jaw (Uh)/Shots thrown but I still ain’t let Megan score/Bad b#### she like six foot, I call her, “Big Foot”/The b#### fell off, I said, ‘Get up on your good foot’/Uh, she ain’t still topped off Red Ruby (Uh-huh)/Tryna steal the sauce, I said ‘Get up out my cook book.'”

The tension between the two escalated with the release of Megan Thee Stallion’s track “Hiss,” which is perceived to be aimed at Nicki Minaj and her husband, Kenneth Petty. The song is currently No. 1 on Apple Music’s Top 100 Chart.

The lyrics of “Hiss” reference “Megan’s Law,” a law related to publicizing information about registered sex offenders, which many interpreted as a direct strike at Petty due to his criminal history. Over the last two days, Minaj retaliated with a series of Instagram Lives and social media rants, hurling numerous insults at Megan Thee Stallion, including jabs at her deceased mother.

“SHE know I got proof of what SHE DID!” she fumed in one of her posts. “And after how she allowed HER BEST GIRL FRIEND TO BE BULLIED, ATTACKED & RIPPED TO SHREDS WHILE KELSEY WAS PREGNANT W/HER FIRST CHILD??? After she had F##### HER BEST FRIEND MAN?!???!! IT WASNT ENOUGH?!? But this is y’all girl’s girl right? Any MOTHER taking this woman’s side may GOD STRIKE YOU DOWN.”

Minaj also claimed Megan advised her to consider abortion when she was trying to get pregnant.

The feud is far from over. Nicki Minaj promised to “empty” the clip and release five more songs if Megan Thee Stallion dares to reply or mention her again.

“After the 1st one drop, if dat p#### a## hoe so much as BREATHE wrong ima empty da clip,” she tweeted. “If that p#### a## hoe deny 1THING I say, I’m posting every fkn receipt known to man. 5. Yes you heard me! Did 5 extra songs. we’ve been waiting on u HO.”

Metro Boomin Rips Blogs Over Lil Durk Collab Project: “I Never Said It Wasn’t Ever Dropping”

Metro Boomin is attempting to clear the air after multiple media outlets reported his and Lil Durk’s collab project isn’t dropping.

On Saturday (January 27), Metro tore apart a Hip-Hop Twitter (X) blog platform in a brief remark addressing a recent story based on a previous tweet he shared in response to a fan questioning the delay of he and Durkio’s joint-effort LP. More specifically, Metro told the fan of the status of the project, “we had it bout ready and it was but the leaks ruined it.” Shortly after Metro’s tweet response to the fan began circulating, media outlets began reporting that the project was “ruined” and essentially scrapped. But according to Metro, that isn’t the case.

“I never said it “wasn’t” ever dropping I just said it “didn’t” drop when it was supposed to due to leaks. amateur media outlets gotta start #reading [book emoji],” Metro wrote.

Durk himself appeared eager to see the tweet as well, considering he replied in the thread with a tweet that simply read “Metroooooooooooooo.” Metro also replied to Durk’s tweet, writing, “Smurkioooooo my brudda [fist bump/100 emojis],” further confirming they’re locked in despite the pesky leaks.

While it’s unclear when exactly Metro and Durk are planning to release the project, it is clear the Heroes & Villians hitmaker has his mind set on releasing a lot of music with major artists this year. Snoop Dogg Roasted For Saying He Has “Nothing But Love & Respect” For Donald Trump

Snoop Dogg pretended to shoot a clown version of Donald Trump in BADBADNOTGOOD’s 2017 video for “Lavender.” But seven years later, he’s changing his tune when it comes to the former president. In a new interview with The Sunday Times, the omnipresent rapper/entrepreneur was asked about Trump. He replied, “Donald Trump?…. He ain’t done nothing wrong to me. He has done only great things for me. He pardoned Michael Harris, so I have nothing but love and respect for Donald Trump.”

Harris, better known in the rap community as Harry-O, was an associate of Death Row Records co-founder Suge Knight and founder of Godfather Entertainment. In the 1980s, Harris was in charge of a nationwide drug trafficking operation that brought in nearly $2 million daily. He said he used the money to invest in local businesses, but he was arrested not only for drug trafficking and attempted murder. Although the victim later recanted and the attempted murder charges were dropped, he remained bars for 33 years.

Trump pardoned Harris in 2021 as he was leaving office. As Snoop told the New York Post at the time, “I love what they did. That’s great work for the president and his team on the way out.”

Snoop Dogg acquired Death Row Records in February 2022 and Harris now serves as the label’s chief operating officer. Twitter, of course, has weighed in on Snoop’s latest comments about Trump. One person wrote, “Who had SnoopDogg supporting Trump on their 2024 bingo card? I sure the f### didn’t,” while another said, “I am so f####g tired of Black people that enable White Supremacists.”

Another person brought up Trump’s sordid past, writing, “This just shows that @SnoopDogg can be bought and paid for through tax cuts. Trump is guilty of raping a woman and is a RACIST. Women(I’m sure he has daughters ) have lost their rights because of Trump but hey never mind about that . I got tax cuts and my black ass don’t pay.”

Paul Wall Wasn’t Feeling Texas Gender Reveal: “Man What The Hell Is Going On”

Paul Wall may have been disturbed by a baby shower in his neighborhood after the soon-to-be parents caused a major spectacle during the celebration.

Over the weekend, The People’s Champ took to TikTok to address an unconventional gender reveal, saying it was so bizarre it actually startled him—at first glance. Wall, who was in the car with his wife, pulled over to record the video because he was in such disbelief at what he just saw.

“Hell nah,” he said. “Me and Cryswall over here riding. We see out the sky a helicopter dropping blue powder out the sky. Man tell me they didn’t just do a gender reveal over here in River Oaks. Hell nahh!”

Wall wasn’t exaggerating either. A Twitter user claiming to be associated with the individuals responsible for the incident remarked about the grandiose reveal in a tweet.

“My rich a## patna in Houston just did a gender reveal with a helicopter Idk what he trying say but I ain’t having no mo kids to top that s###,” the user wrote.

What’s even crazier about the entire incident is the fact that the local Royal Oaks mall Twitter account even utilized the reveal as an advertising opportunity for children’s apparel outfitter Gymboree.

A$AP Rocky & Westside Gunn Unveil Gorillaz Collab

A$AP Rocky may have just premiered his and Westside Gunn’s 2023 collaboration with the Gorillaz during his recent performance across the pond.

On January 27, Rocky presented a new song called “Whiskey” at Le Gala des Pièces Jaunes in France along with a medley performance of his hits. Even though Rihanna, who supported the father of her children from the crowd, stole most of the spotlight at the event, “Whiskey” drew a fair deal of attention due to the featured artists tentatively billed on the record. You can hear both Gorillaz front man Damon Albarn’s backing vocals on the track along with Westside Gunn’s dynamic adlibs over the luxurious production.

Not to mention, last November Gunn remarked on Twitter (X) about his and Rocky’s legendary studio session with the Gorillaz, revealing they had worked on new music at the time but failing to provide a timeline of release.

“In the studio all night with the Brodie @asvpxrocky I still can’t believe he had me in there with the @gorillaz and don’t ask if we cooked something….. OF COURSE WE DID,” Westside Gunn wrote in a tweet featuring photos of the session.

However, much like Gunn’s initial tweet, following Rocky’s performance, there is no official word on when the record will be released.
