Megan Thee Stallion Drags Carl Crawford For Hanging With 18 Yr Old Girls As Feud Continues

Megan Thee Stallion and Carl Crawford continued throwing shots at each other online in the early hours of Wednesday morning (Aug. 24) after J. Prince got involved in the dispute.

The Rap-A-Lot Records founder called out the Houston native, calling her a liar claiming the 1501 founder “discovered, developed and fully financed” Meg before her career took off.

As reported earlier today by AllHopHop.com, Megan Thee Stallion took to Twitter to say it was her who “developed 1501,” and blasted “these grown ass men trying to take credit away from the work me and my mama put into the beginning of my career.”

The Grammy Award winner also claimed, “Carl Crawford “talked so much s###” about J. Prince,” and called him “fake” for linking with him now. She added, “beat me in court not the comment section.”

However, the back and forth continued as Carl Crawford then took to Instagram Live to accuse Megan Thee Stallion of “trying to cause division” between him and J. Prince.

He claimed he never spoke to her about the music industry executive despite what the “Savage” rapper says. According to Carl Crawford, Megan got that from her manager, T. Farris. “Now you wanna say I was talking s### about J. We all know T Farris told you that,” he claimed. Me and you ain’t never talked about J, ever. Not one time.”

Crawford then claimed she hasn’t put on any of the other female artists from Houston and said, “Megan from San Antonio,” adding, “Who saw Megan playing when they was a kid? The H-Town Hottie aint really from H-Town.”

Megan Thee Stallion Claps Back At Carl Crawford

Megan Thee Stallion caught wind of his comments and returned to Twitter to dispute his remarks.

“This 42 year old man said he never heard a story abt me playing as a kid where I’m from,” she penned “Sir I would hope 42 year old men couldn’t tell you where I was playing at as a kid.”

She continued, “When the hate don’t work they just start saying anythingggg 😂 like who is ask anybody? All them 18 year old girls that you hanging with at 42? Cause they damn sure ain’t gone know me either.”

The pair are involved in ongoing lawsuits over Megan’s contract with 1501. Check out their comments below.

Samuel Guzza Discusses New Projects & His Career

Samuel Guzza has a lot going on. However, it wasn’t always like this or even his intended path. If it weren’t for music, he thinks, he would be in marketing; not just a decent career, but also something everyone needs.

With the world opening back up and the internet growing, even more, to be able to reach such an even wider audience each day, it’s almost unbelievable. Guzza thanks god for the fact he can market himself online with ease.

“I have performed in downtown Los Angeles, a few clubs in Chicago and Ohio as well. I don’t have a favorite venue though (currently.) When it comes to performing in and out of date, Samuel Guzza is no stranger. Bringing his own crowd with him or even building pit new pockets of his fan base wherever he goes, his projects, like his work ethic as an artist, speak for themselves.

“Every loss leads to an opportunity, and every adversity leads to new possibilities”. In the end, Guzza had this much to say, on the record: “Another surprise album is in the works and coming very soon. Stay on my Instagram for more information.”

…And one more thing:

“I also do have a few upcoming shows that I haven’t announced yet. One in Washington, one in Florida, and one in Germany. Coming soon!”

Usher Responds To Diddy’s Claim That “R&B Is Dead”: “He Sounds Nuts To Me”

The “Is R&B dead?” discussion initiated by Diddy last week has kept social media alight with artists, fans, and music industry insiders alike, adding their opinions to the conversation.

The Hip-Hop mogul gathered some of the genre’s biggest artists to share their thoughts on the topic, and now Usher has waded into the discussion. According to Mr. Raymond, as a pioneer, Diddy should know better and called the suggestion “blasphemous.”

Usher Says Diddy’s “R&B Is Dead” Discussion “Sounds Crazy”

He shared his view during a recent discussion with Bevy Smith, claiming Diddy “sounds nuts to me.”

“When I hear people say stuff like ‘What happened to R&B?’ or ‘R&B is dead’…it’s not. You just don’t understand the basis of it. Matter fact, maybe I need a reminder, an understanding of what it is. How can something come out 20-some-odd years ago, and then all of a sudden have a resurgence in a way that people just wanna talk about it, sing it, enjoy it? That’s because it’s classic. That’s ‘Superstar.’” He concluded, “That’s R&B.”

During an Instagram Live session with Timbaland last week, Diddy declared that “R&B is m############ dead as of right now.” Usher disagrees.

“That’s what R&B is. R&B is timeless, it ain’t gonna go away,” Usher continued. “So, when I do hear people, even like Puff saying ‘R&B is dead,’ he sounds nuts to me. It sounds crazy, you know, especially knowing he was a pioneer in understanding and beneficiary of it. You know, the source that is R&B created the breath of life that was breathed into Hip Hop.”

Furthermore, Usher says Hip-Hop owes everything to R&B, as such, Hip-Hop artists should hold their tongues on the subject.

“There wouldn’t be—there would be no Hip Hop if there were not R&B,” Usher added. So it’s blasphemous to hear people say anything—especially Hip Hop cats—to say anything about R&B. It’s like, nah, it’s been there. It’s gon’ stay there.”  Check out his comments below.

Meanwhile, Diddy attempted to clarify his comments earlier this week after the backlash.

“It’s been 3 days of the debate… This is the clarity of the message… It’s not disrespect to anybody,” Diddy penned in a Twitter thread. “This conversation was out of love and me purposely wanting to bring attention to R&B! It was something that I saw the effect of the Hip hop and R&B balance. That balance is honesty and realness when it comes together, melodies, vulnerability and most importantly LOVE!”

Megan Thee Stallion Claims “I Developed 1501”: Blasts Carl Crawford, 1501 Ent. & J. Prince

Megan Thee Stallion has had enough of “greedy” men trying to take credit for developing her career and claims she’s the one who actually developed her label, 1501 Entertainment.

The Savage” hitmaker has been embroiled in litigation with her label for over two years over the terms of her contract. As reported by AllHipHop.com on Tuesday (Aug. 23), Megan Thee Stallion filed an amendment to her most recent lawsuit, asking for $ 1 million in damages. She also strongly implied that 1501 was responsible for helping her latest album Traumazine leak before it was due to drop.

J. Prince waded into the dispute late on Tuesday night, challenging many of her claims and accusing her of lying. He shared a lengthy post on Instagram detailing his claims to which Megan responded by way of several tweets blasting him and the label.

Megan Thee Stallion Airs Out Her Label

She is “so over these grown ass men trying to take credit away from the work me and my mama put into the beginning of my career.” Megan claimed she “developed” her career with her mother and was already making a name for herself as a rapper before she got with 1501.

Megan says she knew “a bunch of hood n##### who just started a label for the FIRST time were not gonna be able to manage me PROPERLY.” She claims she was a ” bigger artist” when she signed with Roc Nation and so asked to renegotiate her deal. “That man is GREEDY,” Meg added.

“Was you writing my songs ?” Megan Thee Stallion questioned. “Were you with me in my dorm room recording me rapping ? What abt all that rapping out side my mamma car ? Think cyphers?? I ain’t even know YOU.”

She then claimed, “If you wanna be REALLL I DEVELOPED 1501,” before saying 1501 encounter the same issues with everybody they sign. “ask anybody in Houston how that man is fake ass N####.” She also said Carl Crawford “talked so much s###” about J. Prince, “now that’s your bestie ok 😂🙄”

Megan Thee Stallion concluded by saying she only responded because they said her name. “I don’t need validation from the internet but I’m not weak either … beat me in court not the comment section.” Check out her posts below.

J. Prince Adds His Comments

The Houston native was responding to J. Prince who took to Instagram to clarify the situation as he sees it. According to the Rap-A-Lot records CEO, Megan’s deal with 1501 is more generous than any standard industry deal. He also says she received “significantly” more than Roc Nation – her current management – pay new artists.

J. Prince also accused Megan Thee Stallion and Roc Nation of lying about the label and its founder “for years.” He claims Carl Crawford “discovered, developed and fully financed MTS early in her career.”

The music executive continued, noting any attempt by Megan Thee Stallion of Roc Nation to portray her contract as “unconscionable or unfair is blatantly false and contrary to the customs or norms in the music industry.”

Furthermore, J. Prince says it’s Meg who has “consistently and intentionally breached her 1501 contract with impunity for years.” He also objected to Megan’s implication in the amendment to her lawsuit that 1501 helped leak “Traumazine. He said the project dropped on its scheduled date and the label was hurt by the leak as much as “if not more than” Megan was. This, he believes, renders her claim “specious and nonsensical.” Check out his comments in full below.

FN Meka Gets Dropped!

Grand opening, grand closing!

The “Black community? was about to tear a hole into Capitol Music Group. I saw the writing on the wall. The crazy part is there it look like it was ago. FN Meka was an artificial intelligence rapper, that sparked a ton of controversy in a very short time. The rapper, who looked like a white male, immediately draw the ire of the black community and more because he clearly was a robot that appropriated black culture. This fn thing used racial slurs! So what if it has 10 million followers!

“CMG has severed ties with the FN Meka project, effective immediately,” a Capitol Music Group spokesperson told The Hollywood Reporter. “We offer our deepest apologies to the Black community for our insensitivity in signing this project without asking enough questions about equity and the creative process behind it. We thank those who have reached out to us with constructive feedback in the past couple of days — your input was invaluable as we came to the decision to end our association with the project.”

I know this may sound funny, because dude he’s clearly not a real human. But, after people started to break down and deconstruct what he was, it was clear he was a walking stereotype. He actually looked more like Tekashi69, but it wasn’t a real being.

The crazy thing is they had a song with Gunna (yes, the dude in jail!) all lined up with this guy. This was the first major deal with a virtual character. Obviously, there were two people behind this artificial MC. But, a group of industry professionals called the Industry Blackout stepped up and were about to slam everything about Capitol Music Group!

The said the following on social media:

DEAR CAPITOL RECORDS,

IT HAS COME TO OUR ATTENTION THAT YOUR COMPANY HAS DECIDED TO PARTNER WITH
FACTORY NEW ON SIGNING THE ARTIFICIALLY DESIGNED «RAPPER” FN MEKA. WHILE WE
APPLAUD INNOVATION IN TECH THAT CONNECTS LISTENERS TO MUSIC AND ENHANCES
THE EXPERIENCE, WE FIND FAULT IN THE LACK OF AWARENESS IN HOW OFFENSIVE THIS
CARICATURE IS. IT IS A DIRECT INSULT TO THE BLACK COMMUNITY AND OUR CULTURE.
AN AMALGAMATION OF GROSS STEREOTYPES, APPROPRIATIVE MANNERISMS THAT
DERIVE FROM BLACK ARTISTS, COMPLETE WITH SLURS INFUSED IN LYRICS.

THIS DIGITAL EFFIGY IS A CARELESS ABOMINATION AND DISRESPECTFUL TO REAL
PEOPLE WHO FACE REAL CONSEQUENCES IN REAL LIFE. FOR EXAMPLE, GUNNA, A BLACK
ARTIST WHO IS FEATURED ON A SONG WITH FN MEKA, IS CURRENTLY INCARCERATED
FOR RAPPING THE SAME TYPE OF LYRICS THIS ROBOT MIMICS. THE DIFFERENCE IS, YOUR
ARTIFICIAL RAPPER WILL NOT BE SUBJECT TO FEDERAL CHARGES FOR SUCH.
FOR YOUR COMPANY TO APPROVE THIS SHOWS A SERIOUS LACK OF DIVERSITY AND
RESOUNDING AMOUNT OF TONE DEAF LEADERSHIP. THIS IS SIMPLY UNACCEPTABLE AND
WILL NOT BE TOLERATED.

WE DEMAND THIS PARTNERSHIP BE TERMINATED. A FORMAL PUBLIC APOLOGY BE
ISSUED, FN MEKA REMOVED FROM ALL PLATFORMS. FURTHERMORE, ALL MONIES SPENT
BY CAPITOL RECORDS AND FACTORY NEW FOR THIS PROJECT WILL BE ALLOCATED TO
CHARITABLE ORGANIZATIONS THAT DIRECTLY SUPPORT BLACK YOUTH IN
THE ARTS. AS WELL AS MARKETING BUDGETS FOR BLACK ARTISTS SIGNED
TO CAPITOL RECORDS. WE LOOK FORWARD TO YOUR RESPONSE AND COMPLIANCE.

Capitol Records responded immediately and dropped this “rapper” which is more like a crapper. It has to be the first and fastest drop in the history of artists. I’m glad they did it. They even removed FN Meka from their website and even the original press release was taken down. On top of that, the single that they dropped has been removed from all streaming platforms.

That was wonderful.

Snoop Drops New Animated Series, Tapping Usher Raymond As One Of The Star Voices

Rapper Snoop Dogg is partnering with Claude Brooks, the creator of Hip-Hop Harry, to produce a new children’s animated series, “Doggyland – Kids Songs & Nursery Rhymes.” The collection will appear on YouTube and YouTube Kids.

October London, an acclaimed singer/songwriter, has joined the creative team.

She said, “Working with Snoop, you know our music has to be top notch and make all the kids and families get out of your seat and dance. While the ‘Doggyland – Kids Songs & Nursery Rhymes’ show is created with kids as the priority, the whole family will want to watch it and bump it!”

The series cast includes a lead named Bow Wizzle whom Snoop Dogg voices.

Bow Wizzle serves as the adult mentor to other animated cast members: Wags, voiced by October London; Yap Yap, whom singer Usher voices; Chow Wow; and Barks-A-Locks.

Snoop dropped some knowledge on the project.

“As a father, grandfather and longtime youth football coach, it’s always been important to me to build positive and educational environments for all children. We wanted to bring our show to YouTube and YouTube Kids which provides free access to everyone, so all the kids can enjoy it,” Snoop Dogg said.

“I’ve always wanted to create a kid-friendly series that lets kids be kids and is truly representative of the Culture with everything from the music to the characters,” he stated. “When I started to build my team, it was only right to partner with Claude, who created the iconic series, ‘Hip Hop Harry,’ which built the blueprint to diverse kids programming, and October London, a talented singer and writer.”

Brooks is also excited about working with Snoop, understanding what a powerful impact the artist has on multiple generations.

“Snoop and I are excited to make an animated children’s show that’s musically based and promotes social, emotional, and cognitive learning in an innovative way that both kids and parents alike will be learning together,” said Brooks stated, before saying he is a dad too.

“I’m a father of a 7-year-old daughter,” he said. “And one of the things we are most proud of is having age-appropriate songs about ‘Being Different,’ ‘Not Being A Bully,’ ‘Good Manners,’ and one of my personal favorites, ‘Affirmations.’ These kinds of songs will hopefully lead to meaningful conversations and help everyone be the best they can be.”

Kim Kardashian, Kevin Hart & More Accused Of Violating Drought Restrictions In California

Several celebrities, including Kim Kardashian and Kevin Hart, were warned about their excessive water use amid a drought in California.

According to the Los Angeles Times, more than 2,000 people violated water restrictions imposed due to the drought.

Kim Kardashian, Kourtney Kardashian, Kevin Hart, Sylvester Stallone and Dwyane Wade were among the notable names who received “notices of exceedance” from the Las Virgenes Municipal Water District.

“Customers are expected to adhere to the water use reductions and water conservation measures that are in place due to this emergency,” the notices read.

The celebrities and other customers allegedly used more than 150 percent of their monthly water budgets at least four times since restrictions began. Flow restrictor devices could be installed on their properties in light of the violations.

“We’re asking them to not just minimize their water usage, but we’re also asking them, in a way, to just completely rethink what is aesthetically pleasing to them and how that’ll impact their property values,” Las Virgenes spokesman Mike McNutt told the Los Angeles Times.

Representatives for Kim Kardashian, Kourtney Kardashian and Kevin Hart didn’t respond when the Los Angeles Times asked for comment.

Dwyane Wade and his wife Gabrielle Union claimed their violations stemmed from an issue with their pool. Sylvester Stallone’s lawyer said his client had hundreds of mature trees in need of “adequate watering” on his property.

Wendy Williams’ Son Accused Of Charging $100,000 To Credit Card Before Her Bank Accounts Were Frozen

A new report claimed Wendy Williams’ son spent $100,000 on her credit card before Wells Fargo froze her bank accounts.

According to The Sun, Kevin Hunter Jr. charged thousands of dollars to his mother’s personal American Express card. His activity allegedly factored into Wells Fargo’s decision to freeze Wendy Williams’ accounts.

Kevin Hunter Jr. denied any wrongdoing in a statement to The Sun.

“I vehemently deny any allegations of unauthorized use of my mother’s American Express Card,” he said. “This is a false narrative perpetuated to justify freezing her accounts.”

Wells Fargo froze Wendy Williams’ accounts based on suspicions of “financial exploitation, dementia or undue influence.” A financial guardian took control of her accounts in May.

“Wells Fargo’s priority is the financial well-being of Ms. Williams and the preservation of her privacy,” a Wells Fargo rep told The Sun.

Earlier this year, Wendy Williams blamed her former financial adviser Lori Schiller for the ongoing money issues. The financial adviser allegedly deemed the talk show host to be of “unsound mind.”

“My thing is that I’ve been asking questions about my money and when I begin asking questions about my money, suddenly Lori Schiller has got no response regarding my money,” Wendy Williams said in March. “I want my money. This is not fair.”

Has NBA YoungBoy Signed A $60 Mil Deal With Birdman?

Did NBA YoungBoy sign with Cash Money Records? There’s some heavy rumors going on. As you already know, NBA YoungBoy has been looking for a deal, and it looks like he might be going all the way to the bank with an iconic record label that started in the late 1990s. Cash Money Records! This is the home that Birdman built.

As you already know NBA YoungBoy is a bit of a Teflon Don, when we thought he was going down, he managed to beat a Fed case. And now, he is back to business as an artist. The Word on the street is that he has signed a $60 million deal with Birdman. This almost sounds like an insanely high number, but you start looking at the numbers attached to other artists like a little dirk and then you realize it isn’t as high as previously thought. Durk reportedly made a $40 million label deal, really solidifying his hot streak.

Now, it’s just a question of if this is true. One thing is for certain, NBA YoungBoy said that he wants $100 million, and reportedly turned down a deal for $25 million with Atlantic records. This sounds crazy, but it looks like he knows his worth. Birdman and NBA YoungBoy have worked on music in the past, last year they dropped a mixtape. And recently Birdman had some positive words to say about his young counterpart.

In an interview with the Big Facts podcast, Stunna said, “Ain’t no n*gga gone be bigger than NBA YoungBoy, numbers don’t lie, he’s the biggest YouTube artist and he behind the wall. When that lil’ boy get his mind right and he comes from under this bulls*ht and understands who he is, you know, Thug and all them, they’re up in age, they’re 30, this n*gga 20. And you put a n*gga behind the wall, they become smart.”

If this happens, I am definitely interested in the details of the deal. Deals like this don’t just come and go. Most of the times they have some benchmarks to hit, start options, and even merch looped in.

We shall see.

Kanye West Avoids Charges For Punching Out Fan In Los Angeles

Kanye West won’t face criminal charges for allegedly punching a fan in January.

The Los Angeles City Attorney’s Office announced it won’t file charges against Kanye West on Tuesday (August 23). ‘Ye was under investigation for battery following an altercation in downtown Los Angeles,

“After a thorough and careful review of all the evidence, our office is declining to file based on no reasonable likelihood of conviction,” L.A. City Attorney’s Office spokesperson Rob Wilcox said.

Kanye West was accused of punching a fan who was seeking his autograph. Earlier this year, he discussed the incident in an interview with Hollywood Unlocked’s Jason Lee. ‘Ye claimed the fan was a paparazzo.

“It was 3 a.m. in front of the [Soho] Warehouse,” he explained. “I’m saying, ‘You don’t know what I’m dealing with right now’ … And this dude just, he just had this real attitude, like, ‘Whatchu gonna do?’”

Kanye West added, “I’ma just tell you, that blue COVID mask ain’t stop that knockout, you know what I’m saying.”

The punch wasn’t caught on camera, but a video of the aftermath surfaced online. Kanye West was seen arguing with a woman who was trying to defuse the situation. She was later identified as his cousin.

Crooks Busted For Breaking Into Mariah Carey’s House

Three suspects have been arrested in connection with a burglary at Mariah Carey’s house.

TMZ reported on Monday that Jeremy Caldwell, Terryion Anderson and Jalen Huff were recently arrested in Miami, Florida, in connection with a crime spree in Atlanta, which included the burglary of the star’s home.

Sandy Springs Police Department issued a statement about the spree, saying a number of celebrities’ homes were targeted during it. One incident allegedly involved a man being shot.

Police said the break-in at the singer’s property took place on July 27th. While she wasn’t at home at the time, sources told TMZ that she’s “so grateful for the detectives who arrived on the scene immediately.”

The “We Belong Together” singer was on vacation for most of July. She posted photos on social media showing her on holiday in Capri, Italy, and shortly after, she revealed she had rented out a mansion in the Hamptons, New York.

According to Page Six, the singer bought the $5.65 million property in Atlanta’s elite suburb of Sandy Springs in November last year. The home features nine bedrooms and 13 bathrooms, as well as a swimming pool, screening room, tennis court, and playground.

It has not been revealed what was stolen from the property.

Britney Spears “Cries Herself To Sleep” Every Night

Britney Spears has revealed she “cries herself to sleep” most nights in a candid social media post. The “Toxic” hitmaker took to Instagram on Monday to share a close-up photo of a pink rose.

In the accompanying caption, Britney shared that while her “spirits are better” she will “forever be traumatized” by her past experiences – no doubt referring to the controversial conservatorship she was placed under between February 2008 and November 2021.

“Well the truth is, my spirits are better but I will forever be traumatized by my past experience for life… there is no way to fix me, my emotions and my sensitivity… therapy, all of it !!! I think I will need some sort of miracle for my emotions,” she wrote. “My life is by no means picture perfect… I cry myself to sleep most night… I’m insecure as hell… I don’t know how to have good posture unless I’m on camera… and I need to go to a school just to be taught how to freaking walk… I know you say ‘but you are a performer’… well that’s it !!! It’s an act on stage… in real life I have no clue… and I’m working on that !!!”

https://www.instagram.com/p/Chkemd3uFek/?hl=en

Britney went on to note that she still feels uncomfortable about ordering food for herself.

“I’m learning the word ‘MORE’… I’ve never had seconds at the dinner table and I know ESPECIALLY in LA a lot of people starve themselves but it’s weird… I WANT MORE lately… does that make me a bad person ??? the 40-year-old asked. “It’s weird just the other night someone made me the best mac and cheese… I swear I wanted more so bad!!! But I didn’t do it then I thought about it !!! Have I ever had seconds??? It’s called MORE and maybe MORE isn’t so bad… and opening to MORE and the DOOR !!!”

The message comes after Britney became engaged in a public feud with her ex-husband Kevin Federline earlier this month.

In an interview, Kevin claimed that their teenage sons, Sean and Jayden, hadn’t seen their mother for a few months because they are embarrassed about the provocative photos she posts on Instagram.

In response, Britney accused her sons of acting “hateful” during visits to her home.

The popstar and Kevin, 44, were married from 2004 until their divorce was finalized in 2007.

Fetty Wap Refusing To Cooperate With Feds In Drug Dealing Case

Fetty Wap has pleaded guilty to federal drugs charges.

The “Trap Queen” rapper, real name Willie Junior Maxwell II, was arrested last October after being charged by police officers with conspiracy to distribute and possess controlled substances.

On Monday, Fetty Wap appeared at a courthouse on Long Island and entered the guilty plea.

“I agreed with other people to distribute cocaine,” the 31-year-old told Judge Steven I. Locke.

Meanwhile, Fetty Wap’s lawyer, Elizabeth Macedonio, maintained that her client had not been “cooperating” with police investigators.

“He’s not cooperating. I want that to be very, very clear,” she stated to reporters.
The charge carries a mandatory five-year prison sentence.

A date for sentencing has not yet been set. Fetty Wap was jailed earlier this month after having his bail revoked.

Prosecutors claimed he violated the terms of his pretrial release by allegedly threatening to kill a man during a FaceTime call in December 2021.

Don Pooh Talks Jay-Z/Nas, Foxy Brown, Evolving Into Brooklyn Chop House & Returning To Music

Don Pooh is a member of a special club. He’s more than the man that discovered Foxy Brown and worked extensively within The Notorious B.I.G.’s management team. The Brooklyn native is more than the executive that delivered one of Mary J. Blige’s magnum opuses, No More Drama, or the guy that worked with both Jay-Z and Nas. Robert Cummins, his government name, has defined his second act on his own terms through the early 2000’s when so many professionals waned. This club of music industry survivalists is a special breed that have mastered reinvention through rugged individualism, intensity and ingenuity.

Before he closed that chapter in music, he simultaneously began anew as a restauranteur that specialized in hospitality. His new journey started in the early 2000’s when he began to franchise out Papa John’s pizza spots and IHOP pancake houses in Brooklyn. Instead of sticking to the script, he catered the businesses to the local community. For example, one IHOP had a VIP room with numerous artistic nods to BK. In 2018, Stratis Morfogen, Don Pooh, And David Thomas launched Brooklyn Chop House in downtown Manhattan just over the infamous bridge. The location quickly became a hot spot that paved the way for a second location in Times Square this year. Bella Hadid Lost “Many” Jobs For Supporting Palestine

Bella Hadid has claimed she lost “so many” jobs and friends after she began to voice support for Palestine.

In a recent interview with Noor Tagouri for the podcast Rep, the model discussed the backlash she has received over her decision to campaign for Palestinian rights during the ongoing conflict in the Middle East.

Bella’s father, Mohamed Hadid, was born into a Palestinian Muslim family but moved to the U.S. when he was a teenager.

“I really do believe that if I started speaking about Palestine when I was 20, I wouldn’t have gotten the recognition and the respect that I have now,” she said. “I had so many companies stop working with me. I had friends that completely dropped me, like even friends that I had been having dinner with at their home on Friday nights for seven years like now just won’t let me at their house anymore.”

Bella went on to share that she often felt disconnected from her father’s side of the family when growing up and recalled how she once had a lightbulb moment while speaking to her cousin Lena.

“I was like, ‘Oh my gosh! This is the pain I’ve been feeling. This is the disconnect I’ve been feeling.’ I wasn’t around my Palestinian family. I was barely around Arabs growing up,” the 25-year-old continued.

Elsewhere in the conversation, Bella called out the World Values Network for taking out a full-page advertisement in The New York Times back in May 2021 to brand her support for Palestine as antisemitic.

The ad also referred to Bella’s siblings Gigi and Anwar Hadid.

“It was really disappointing for me because we all really have taken time and money, subscriptions to read something that we really felt was powerful, had integrity and educational. And at this point it was just, they sold their soul,” she continued. “I think that was really, the word is disappointing, but the entire country of Israel, @israel on Twitter tweeted at me. That’s what’s interesting is that when I speak about Palestine, I get labeled as something that I’m not. But I can speak about the same thing that’s happening there, happening somewhere else in the world, and it’s honorable. So, what’s the difference?”

Diddy Denies Dissing R&B After Backlash

Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs has clarified his declaration that “R&B is dead.”

During an Instagram Live session with Timbaland last week, the Last Night rapper declared that “R&B is motherf**king dead as of right now.”

During the session, he explained, “R&B gotta be judged to a certain thing… R&B is not a hustle. This s### is about feeling your vulnerability.”

With the implication that modern R&B doesn’t meet these standards, he continued, “It’s our fault for accepting anything less for anybody getting on a mic. I feel like there was a death of R&B singing, and I’m a part of bringing that s### back!”

Diddy’s comments received criticism from other musicians, with Brent Faiyaz calling the gatekeeping of music genres “primitive” and Chris Brown telling Diddy to “respectfully shut up.”

The rapper clarified his comments on Twitter.

“It’s been 3 days of the debate… This is the clarity of the message… It’s not disrespect to anybody,” Diddy began in a thread. “This conversation was out of love and me purposely wanting to bring attention to R&B! It was something that I saw the effect of the Hip hop and R&B balance. That balance is honesty and realness when it comes together, melodies, vulnerability and most importantly LOVE!”

He summarised, “This message is that R&B game needs more love, vulnerability, (and) support!”

Vanessa Bryant Pays Tribute To Kobe On His Birthday Despite Emotional Trial

The first full week of Vanessa Bryant’s trial against Los Angeles County ended on Friday, August 19th, with the NBA All-Star’s widow and mother of his children taking the stand.

Even while fighting for justice for her love, she celebrated his life.

As reported by AllHipHop.com, Vanessa Bryant is suing the County after LA Sheriff’s deputies and LA County Fire Department captains shared graphic photos of her husband Kobe Bryant and her daughter Gigi of Bryant’s 2020 fatal helicopter accident.

Seven other people also lost their lives on that devastating day.

The crash happened on January 26th, 2020, and by March of that year, at the onset of the global COVID-19 pandemic, Vanessa Bryant’s lawyers filed her complaint.

During the trial, and before Bryant took the stand, a county coroner “described the scene’s utter carnage, offering jurors insight into the horrifying images likely captured by the first responders who snapped improper photos — some including human remains — that would make their way to several people in the aftermath of the crash, ultimately prompting an agency-wide effort to keep them contained,” according to the Insider.

One of those human remains was of the athlete. A bartender who saw the leaked images identified Kobe by his skin tone and the tattoos on his arm and said, “there were just parts.”

During their testimonies, law enforcement, both deputies and captains, said that they took the pictures and shared them with others because their curiosity got the best of them.

Some believed it was a mandate of the job and two deputies confessed that taking the flicks and sharing them was a way to “alleviate stress.”

The County hired outside counsel to assist in this case. Mira Hashmall, who is working with the municipality, said, “… The testimony in this trial has repeatedly shown that County emergency personnel responded heroically to the January 2020 helicopter crash and that since then, the County has successfully prevented any of its site photography of the incident from ever being publicly disseminated.”

She continued, “It is undisputed these images do not exist in the media or on the Internet, and the families have never seen them.”

“A neutral forensic examination confirmed there are no remaining photos containing victims’ remains,” remarked Hashmall. “The County is not responsible for the Plaintiffs’ decision to publicize in this trial the graphic details of the fatal injuries suffered by their loved ones — precisely the information the County has worked tirelessly over the last two and a half years to keep confidential.”

Still, Vanessa Bryant took the stand on Friday and declared what they did was wrong, and this case is about making them pay for exploiting her husband’s death because he was famous.

TMZ reports she learned about the photographs being shared by the Los Angeles Times, saying the news destroyed her, a very different story than what Hashmall said.

“I felt like I wanted to run down the block and scream,” Vanessa Bryant stated. “I can’t escape my body. I can’t escape what I feel.”

She felt “blindsided, devastated, hurt, and betrayed” by the officers and first responders.

“I trusted them,” she said. “I trusted them to not do these things.”

She mentioned how they took pictures of Gigi and moved her body so they could get their photos, saying how this further betrayed the #girldad even in his death.

“They took advantage that Daddy couldn’t protect her,” she said. “He was at the morgue.”

Bereaved, sobbing, and still powerfully strong, she said, “Nobody should ever have to see their family in that way.”

The widow remembers her babies through various tributes on Instagram. The most recent would be a birthday tribute for Kobe, who would have been 44 today (August 23rd) had he survived the crash.

She posted a throwback pic on social media of the two hugging as he wore his 2009 Los Angeles Lakers championship T-shirt and hat.

The caption was simply, “Happy birthday, baby! I love you and miss you so much! #44 ❤️ @kobebryant.”

Long life the Black Mamba.
