The Best Cannabis Store in Canada Right Now

While Cannabis is still making its way to legality across America, Canada has THC and CBD products available nationwide to people 18 and older. It’s so easy to find that you can even order it in the mall. However, cannabis lovers can still experience getting up close and personal with it at Dank dispensary, a knowledgeable cannabis store with many CBD and THC products.

What is Dank Dispensary?

The Dank cannabis stores will likely soon be the new favorite place among users in Canada. With Dank currently having two locations in Dover and Ogden/Lynnwood, it’s quickly gaining a good reputation. They host a robust selection of cannabis products that’ll keep locals and visitors alike coming back for more.

Why Choose Dank Dispensary?

With dispensaries becoming more and more popular, it can be difficult to choose which one is the right fit. There are so many choices, but the Dank cannabis store does something that sets them apart from the others. They paid attention to what customers needed and worked it into a system of convenience and ease.

The Atmosphere

The company popped on the scene with a fresh look and an aim to create a new experience for customers. The in-store atmosphere is a modern and fun environment, with a self-service area for people who would rather keep to themselves. The store also features intuitive menus that have extensive information regarding the types of products available.

Customers can also ask the friendly and helpful staff about products. They are hand-picked to be extremely knowledgeable about the services and items of the Dank dispensary.

The Dank Calgary Cannabis stores also have an easy and detailed online shop. Customers can look through hundreds of items for sale with a handy sort option. Here it’s easy to search for products by price, potency, brand, and popularity. The simple layout of the online shop can display either a listed view or card view, giving customers a wider range of options at a time.

The platform even groups menu items into convenient pairings tailored to what customers are seeking. For instance, the “under $20” and “major sale” lists show highly affordable products, while the “fresh drops” list shows new items and the “Certified Dank” and “High THC” lists show the heavy hitters on the website.

All great companies show love to their customers by including them in the family. The Dank club is a membership that offers perks to participating cannabis fans that love rewards. A Dank Club membership comes with access to exclusive merchandise, along with events, promos, and freebies in town.

Of course, the best part about memberships is the discounts. Members of the Dank Club receive 20% off of every 10th visit and 5% off all accessories. In addition, as a new member customers will get 20% off of their second visit. That’s a deal too good to pass up. Sign-up is easy, and only takes less than a couple of minutes.

Drake Is Living Lavish In $65 Million Mansion

We all know that rapper Drake likes luxury and has expensive taste.

Well, just in time for his birthday battle rap event, “Til Death Do Us Part,” the Certified
Lover Boy
has rented a brand new 18,000-square-foot mansion in Beverly Hills to kick it for a few weeks.

Reports say that the spot is worth a light $65 million and that Drake rented the property for about $215,000 per month.

The place is fire.

When you walk in there is a glass bridge leading you to the foyer. According to its public listing, when you pass over the bridge, you’ll see “an expansive floor plan with jetliner views” and a great room designed with marble inspired by the “rhythmic keys of a piano.”

There is a tree in the middle of the house that is 150 years old with a 20-foot cascading water wall behind it.

The tree is not just any old “old” tree. It is a Mediterranean olive tree especially shipped from Italy.

The main kitchen is something to marvel at as it has a 14-foot leathered marble island with designer Gaggenau appliances and Dada cabinetry. The butler’s kitchen is just as fly with a 16-burner Viking stove.

The “Til Death Do Us Part” card is slated to take place on Saturday, October 30th in Long Beach.

The “God’s Plan” rapper, who is a huge battle rap fan, hand-selected the card that will feature Loaded Lux vs. Geechi Gotti, Tsu Surf vs. Calicoe, Tay Roc vs. Nu Jerzey Twork, Gattas vs. Jaz the Rapper, Pat Stay vs. Real Sikh and T-Rex vs. Rum Nitty.

Drake and some of his friends will be in attendance.

21 Savage Gets Justice As Brother’s Murderer Gets Lengthy Prison Sentence

The man who killed the brother of 21 Savage in the UK is heading to prison for a long time over the brutal stabbing death.

The man that killed 21 Savage’s brother has been sentenced to prison. The murderer was hit with a 10-year sentence for the fatal stabbing.

Terrell Davis-Emmons, the young brother of the “Without Warning” rapper, was killed by stabbing almost a year ago in Brixton, London.

According to the Daily Mail, the dutiful 27-year-old was going shopping for his grandmother when Tyrece Fuller got into a physical conflict with him and plunged a six-inch Rambo blade into his chest.

Witnesses said that Davis-Emmons, aka TM1way, had a machete, but it was not drawn during the assault that took his life.

The anonymous spectator said that Fuller seized the advantage of Davis-Emmons putting his weapon away — lunging with a deathly insertion.

A video obtained by CCTV shows the millennial lifting his shirt to see the injury and immediately passing out. He fell face-first into a bush — lying there until the paramedics and an air ambulance arrived.

Sadly, they were too late. 21 Savage’s brother was declared dead on the scene.

In his trial that ended in July, Fuller, a 22-year-old man from Tavy Close, Kennington, was found guilty of manslaughter.

He reportedly did not attend his sentencing, to which the judge, Mr. Justice Cavanagh, said demonstrated his “lack of courage.”

The father of 21 Savage’s brother attended and did have words to say. Mr. Kevin Emmons shared the grief that Fuller’s actions caused his family.

“I have struggled with an emotional and psychological war within myself, comparable to that of an elevator that only goes down,’ he told the court.”

“His nan, my mother, still sits in her house waiting for Terrell to return with milk and juice.”

The Daily Mail also reported remarks that the judge said about Davis-Emmons, a rising Drill rapper.

“This is yet another tragic example of the curse of knife crime in London. A young man’s life has needlessly been cut short by the willingness of young men to pick up a knife or blade and to use it when there are far easier and far safer and better ways of resolving the situation,’ he told the court,” he surmised.

Continuing, he said in recognition of his character, “Mr. Davis-Emmons was obviously a very well-loved son, grandson, and brother, who cared for his disabled brother, and was a talented musician.”

“He looked after people in his community and had positive plans for the future. The victim’s personal statement graphically described how Terell Davis-Emmons’s death has devastated his family and those who knew and loved him.”

May his soul rest in peace and prayers to the Davis-Emmons family.

Rap Label 300 Entertainment Going On Sale For Almost Half A Billion Dollars

300 Entertainment, a label founded by entertainment Lyor Cohen, Roger Gold, Kevin Liles, and Todd Moscowitz, is up for sale.

Industry insiders have said that it “is expected to sell for at least $400 million.” Megan Thee Stallion, Gunna, Migos, and Young Thug have called this label their recording home.

Kevin Liles has been pushing boundaries since the start of the company, and in June, the label launched an invite-only distribution platform for DIY artists called Sparta.

When talking about the label in 2019, Liles shared 300’s ambitions to stay cutting edge.

“We wanted to build a disruptor, to say, ‘Let’s get rid of all the red tape.’ We didn’t even call ourselves a ‘label’ – we are a platform for entrepreneurs, for entertainers, for executives, for creators to partner and do great things,” he told Music Business Worldwide.

“As I reflect on it now, [the launch] was like a Bat-Signal for freedom,” he continued. “Freedom to do what we wanted when we wanted to do it, with the people we wanted to do it with.”

“We are part of what I call the ‘New Independents’; it’s not the old way of thinking, it means being independent in partnership, independent in capitalization, and independent in collaboration,” he stated.

So why are they selling it?

According to Bloomberg, the label owners want to take advantage of this being the “most frenzied market for music assets in recent memory.”

They hope that they will leverage the music copyrights that have soared because of various streaming services to get a strong deal.

Two of the remaining three major labels, Warner Music Group Corp. and Universal Music Group NV, in existence, have gone public over the last year and a half.

Ironically, Liles and Cohen, the two musical geniuses behind the label, spent a substantial amount of their careers at both music companies.

R. Kelly Hires Bill Cosby’s Old Lawyer In Quest For Freedom

In a last-ditch effort to grab some form of freedom, disgraced R&B singer R. Kelly has hired Bill Cosby’s lawyer to assist.

He and his team hope that the same way Bill got off, the Pied Piper of R&B (that means so much more now) will also be set free.

The problem is their cases are not the same.

According to Radar Online, the “Age Ain’t Nothing But A Number” songwriter is hoping that by hiring attorney Jennifer Bonjean, his recent conviction for sex trafficking will be overturned.

And it seems that she has already started on the job.

Records show that Bonjean, though she was hired on October 28th, has filed a document for her new client asking for a 60-day extension to better familiarize herself with his case before filing for an appeal to his guilty verdict.

The document alleges that “until this week, she was unable to conduct even a cursory review of the trial record on account of other professional obligations.”

One of Cosby’s other lawyers, Andrew Wyatt, spoke on R. Kelly’s case and said, “The guy was railroaded” and believed “an assault on successful Black men.”

“I see R. Kelly having a strong case for appeal. When he gets to the highest court in the land, I think we’ll see a conviction overturned,” he said.

Now his co-counsel will be working on getting that very thing done.

Developing.

The Fugees Postpone Reunion Tour Until 2022

The Fugees reunion tour won’t kick off in November as planned.

Lauryn Hill, Wyclef Jean and Pras have postponed their 25th anniversary tour until 2022. The trio explained the delay in an Instagram post on Friday.

“Dates for our upcoming Fugees 25th Anniversary Tour are moving to early 2022 to ensure the best chance that all cities on the tour are fully open so we can perform for as many fans as possible,” the group announced via social media.

The postponement may be disappointing for fans, but The Fugees intend to expand the reach of their tour. Lauryn Hill, Wyclef Jean and Pras will perform in more cities as part of the rescheduled slate of shows.

“With so much excitement around the reunion tour, we are also happy to announce that we will be adding more cities and dates!” they declared. “Full details coming soon along with some SPECIAL announcements!”

The Fugees 25th anniversary tour was supposed to begin in Chicago on November 2. The three artists were going to spend November touring the United States, performing in cities such as Los Angeles, Miami and Washington, D.C.

Lauryn Hill, Wyclef Jean and Pras were also scheduled to perform overseas in December. The Fugees had shows booked in Paris, London, Nigeria and Ghana.

The Fugees officially reunited in September for a special pop-up show in New York City. The event and upcoming tour are a celebration of the triumvirate’s classic album The Score, which was released in 1996.

Jay-Z’s Testimony Gets Chippy At Perfume Breach Of Contract Trial

Jay-Z wasn’t bashful while testifying at a civil trial on Friday.

The Roc Nation boss showed up to a court to rebut Parlux Fragrances’ breach of contract allegations against him. According to multiple reports, Jay-Z’s testimony got combative at times as Hov verbally clashed with the perfume company’s lawyer Anthony Viola.

Parlux originally sued Jay-Z for $18 million in 2016. The company accused him of failing to promote its Gold Jay Z fragrance, claiming he cost the perfumer millions. Hov countersued, contending Parlux breached their agreement and owed him more than $2.7 million.

A trial for the case finally began in October. Jay-Z testified on Friday and maintained he lived up to his end of the deal with Parlux.

The company’s attorney tried to press Jay-Z, arguing the Hip-Hop superstar wasn’t aware of his contractual requirements. Hov admitted he never read the contract but said his lawyers likely explained the details to him.

Jay-Z generated some laughter from the jury when he chided Parlux’s lawyer. He also had a simple answer for many of Viola’s inquiries.

“I’m not a lawyer,” he quipped on multiple occasions during his testimony.

While on the stand, repeatedly attempted to question Viola. At one point, the judge had to step in and inform the legendary rapper that Viola was the only one allowed to ask the questions.

No judgment has been made in the breach of contract trial. It is scheduled to continue next week.

Cardi B Shouts Out Tamron Hall For Her ‘Pregnant Cardi’ Costume

Cardi B shouted out everyone’s favorite auntie, Tamron Hall, today on social media.

On today’s episode of The Tamron Hall Show, the journalist-turned-daytime host came out in not one, but two, different costumes.

The first costume was a tribute to Cardi B herself, in which she sported a glittery Dolce & Gabbana cut-out bodysuit with a prosthetic baby bump, paying tribute to the rapper’s performance at the 2021 BET Awards — which also served as a de facto pregnancy announcement, too.

Cardi B shouted out Tamron Hall on social media and thanked her for the “tribute.”

Later on in the show, according to The New York Post, Tamron Hall paid tribute to Naomi Campbell by donning her 1993 Vivienne Westwood fashion show, where she fell due to her oversized platform heels.

The “Bodak Yellow” rapper also got a nod & a wink from “The Real,” in which one of the hosts portrayed a pregnant version of her in a skit that also featured “Octomom” and Kim Kardashian. Lil Nas X was also featured in the skit, which was actually quite funny all around.

Cardi B, meanwhile, is promoting a new upcoming episode of Cardi Tries, which will air on Facebook Watch.

Ice Cube Out Of ‘Oh Hell No’ Movie After Declining COVID-19 Vaccine

Ice Cube won’t be starring in the upcoming Sony comedy Oh Hell No.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the Hip-Hop legend has exited the film over his refusal to get the COVID-19 vaccine. Producers asked the movie’s cast to get vaccinated ahead of filming, which was supposed to begin this winter in Hawaii.

Ice Cube hasn’t publicly addressed his exit at the time of publishing. His representatives have declined to comment.

The veteran rapper/actor’s rejection of the vaccination request will turn out to be a costly decision. He was reportedly set to make $9 million for his role in the film.

Ice Cube was supposed to star alongside Jack Black in the comedy, which is being directed by Kitao Sakurai. Oh Hell No is Sakurai’s follow-up to Bad Trip, a hidden-camera prank movie starring Eric Andre that became a hit for Netflix.

Sony is now looking for a replacement for Ice Cube. Oh Hell No was originally scheduled to be released in summer 2022, but production on the film has been pushed back following the casting disruption.

Oh Hell No is the second movie Ice Cube has left in recent months. He was also attached to a Universal boxing film titled Flint Strong but is no longer part of the project.

Fetty Wap Accused Of Selling Hundreds Of Kilos Of Cocaine, Crack And Heroin

Rap star Fetty Wap faces a long stretch in prison after being accused of trafficking large amounts of drugs.

Fetty Wap was arrested in New York at Citi Field yesterday (October 28th) just before his set at Rolling Loud for his role in a drug conspiracy that spanned from New Jersey to Long Island, New York.

According to an indictment out of Central Islip, New York, the rapper and five other men are accused of distributing at least 100 kilos of controlled substances.

Among those charged in the conspiracy is a New Jersey correctional officer named Anthony Leonardi and his brother Robert Leonardi.

Brian Sullivan and KeVaughn Wiggins are the other two men accused of distributing and possessing controlled substances.

Five of the defendants are also charged with using firearms and connection with drug trafficking.

“As alleged, the defendants transported, distributed, and sold more than 100 kilograms of deadly and addictive drugs, including heroin and fentanyl, on Long Island, deliberately contributing to the opioid epidemic that is devastated our communities and taken too many lives,” said United States attorney Breon Peace.

Fetty Wap, who had a #1 hit single on the R&B and Hip-Hop charts in 2015 with the song “Trap Queen,” is accused of being a wholesale drug dealer who pumped massive amounts of the drugs.

The drug ring allegedly peddled cocaine, crack cocaine, heroin, and the deadly drug fentanyl.

During the investigation, investigators uncovered $1.5 million in cash, 16 kilos of cocaine, 2 kilos of heroin, fentanyl pills, handguns, and large amounts of ammunition.

Fetty Wap is scheduled to be arraigned this afternoon.

Fetty Wap Arrested For Alleged Federal Drug Charges In NYC

Fetty Wap can’t seem to catch a break.

A representative for the FBI has confirmed to ABC News that the rapper has been arrested on what the agency is calling “drug charges.”

He was arrested on Thursday, Oct. 28, at Citi Field in Queens, NY. As hip-hop heads are aware, Citi Field is where the Rolling Loud festival is taking place, and you can’t help but wonder if this isn’t just another set-up from the NYPD task force dedicated to the rap community (or, as they’re more colloquially known, the “Hip Hop Cops”).

Just listen to how ABC News describes Fetty Wap in their news report:

“He has had other brushes with the law, including a 2019 arrest in Las Vegas for allegedly assaulting three employees at a hotel-casino. He was previously arrested in November 2017 and charged with DUI after police say he was drag racing on a New York City highway,” they write.

Meanwhile, not an ounce of smoke for all the corrupt politicians, rockers, and other assorted members of the motley crew of people in charge, right?

As of right now, the details surrounding Fetty Wap are hazy, at best. An FBI spokesperson hasn’t released the details of either his arrest or the charges at hand, but he’s expected to be arraigned later today.

There is no question Vado’s talent is respected. From his early aughts(ish) mixtape run with Cam’ron and the U.N. Crew, highlighted by mixtape staples like Slime Flu and Boss Of All Bosses and their collaborative album Gunz n’ Butta, all of which were released under the Diplomat Records umbrella, to eventually signing with Interscope and later Cash Money Records/We The Best Music.

After recently taking center stage at the DJ Kay Slay hosted New World Order III rap event in Atlanta, where he battled Saigon, Vado will return with a new installment of his Long Run series, Long Run Vol. 2, which will be released on December 10, 2021. Vado shared the project’s first single, “Respect The Jux,” featuring Lloyd Banks and Dave East with Complex.

“Respect The Jux” is taken from my forthcoming project, Long Run 2, but it will also be the title track from a movie which I will appear in next year,” Vado commented to Complex. “This is the soundtrack of the gritty NYC streets, so it’s only right I went and got two of the grittiest lyricists to join me in Lloyd Banks & Dave East; AKA Bank Matthews & Dave Hyatt. The track is produced by my fellow Harlemite “6 Figure Digga.”

‘Tiger King’ Star Joe Exotic Calls On Cardi B To Help Him Get Out Of Prison

During the early months of the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, many Netflix users escaped the fear and uncertainty of rising coronavirus cases by binge-watching the captivating Tiger King: Murder, Mayhem, and Madness docuseries.

Joseph “Joe Exotic” Maldonado-Passage was the breakout star of Tiger King. Cardi B even confessed to being a “stan” of Joe Exotic before turning on the incarcerated ex-zookeeper because Exotic once argued he should be able to use the “n-word.”

Apparently, Cardi B’s change of heart did not stop Joe Exotic or his representatives from reaching out to the Invasion of Privacy album creator on social media. On October 21, the unverified @joe_exotic Twitter account pleaded to Cardi for help.

“@iamcardib when you see the truth in Tiger King 2, I need you to rally everyone together to be my voice of #freedom,” posted @joe_exotic. That tweet included a photo of a hand-written note apparently from the real Joe Exotic.

In response, Cardi B quote-tweeted that message. The Bronx-raised rapper added, “Wait, is this the real Tiger King?” Netflix’s official Twitter account replied, “Do they… have Twitter in prison? Genuinely asking 🙃.”

Then someone claiming to be Joe Exotic’s lawyer jumped into the online conversation. John M. Phillips tweeted to Cardi B, “I represent Joe. He heard about your message from prison. I’d love to put you two together on a phone call next week.”

Four hours later, Phillips added, “I can’t even imagine facilitating the call between @iamcardib and @joe_exotic. That collaboration may make the world explode. Here kitty kitty (the WAP remix) is so 2022. Cardi, I can probably get you on a call with Joe next week. He’s grateful for you taking on Carole early.”

Carole Baskin & Cardi B Clashed Over “WAP” & A Missing Husband

Cardi B also got into a back-and-forth with Joe Exotic’s archenemy Carole Baskin. The self-described big cat rights activist called out Cardi’s “WAP” music video for supposedly glamorizing “the idea of rich people having tigers as pets.”

That criticism led to Cardi B clapping back at Carole Baskin in an interview. The Grammy winner brought up the rumors that Baskin allegedly killed her husband, Don Lewis, by feeding him to the animals at her Big Cat Rescue sanctuary.

“I’m not gonna engage with Carole Baskin on that,” said Cardi B at the time. “Like, that’s just ridiculous you know? Oh, Lord. Like, girl, you killed your g###### husband.” Baskin denies any involvement in Don Lewis going missing.

The “Tiger King” Is Locked Up As Netflix Prepares For Season Two Of The Series

Joe Exotic was sentenced to 22 years in prison after a federal jury found him guilty of hiring a hitman to murder Carole Baskin, falsifying wildlife records, and violating the Endangered Species Act. He was accused of personally shooting and killing five tigers in 2017.

Tiger King 2 will stream on Netflix beginning November 17. A synopsis for the upcoming second season episodes reads:

With Joe Exotic behind bars and Carole Baskin closing in on ownership of his disreputable zoo, the Emmy-nominated saga continues its twisted course with Tiger King 2 as newfound revelations emerge on the motivations, backstories, and secrets of America’s most notorious big cat owners. Old enemies and frenemies, including Jeff Lowe, Tim Stark, Allen Glover, and James Garretson return for another season of murder, mayhem, and madness. Thought you knew the whole story? Just you wait.
