Young Thug’s presence commands attention. Recently, an encompassing; yet, unconfirmed rumor began to circulate. In it, allegations were made associating the PUNK MC, with an all-inclusive Wal-Mart shopping spree.
Soon, an Atlanta-area Wal-Mart, situated on Cleveland Avenue, became completely inundated with folks. While awaiting Thugger’s, supposed arrival, anxious individuals continued browsing. ATLUncensored purportedly captured the aftermath of the faux shopping spree.
Eventually, hoards of filled buggies were abandoned. A stark reality, would dash the hope of a carte blanche retail experience. Sex was not in the building. Thus far, he, nor his camp, has responded to these controversial allegations.
Tragic news has hit the entertainment world, as reports declare that the wife of the iconic Black music executive Clarence Avant was murdered during an early morning home invasion.
The wife of 54 years was declared to the public to be dead after arriving at the hospital.
According to TMZ, Jacqueline Avant was 81 years old at the time of her death.
The Beverly Hills police department was called around 2:30 AM in the morning on Wednesday, December 1st.
The person shared that someone had broken into the house and that one of the residents had been shot with the dispatcher. However, by the time that the authorities responded to their Trousdale Estates home, she was already en route to the hospital. It is unclear if she died instantly, in transit, or after she arrived at the hospital.
What is also unknown is if anyone else was hit during the attempted burglary.
The publication also reports that the Godfather of Black Music, Mr. Avant was home during this tragedy. He has not released a statement on the loss of his wife to the press or the concerned public. Neither has their daughter Nicole, who is married to Netflix CEO Ted Sarandos.
Jackie, as she was affectionately called, was a philanthropist and an advocate for social justice. During her life, she served as the President of the Neighbors of Watts, a support group that focused on child care. She was on the Board of Directors of UCLA’s International Student Center.
AllHipHop.com sends our heartfelt condolences to the Avant family during this time of bereavement.

Many fans and fellow celebrities celebrated Britney Spears finally getting autonomy from her 13-year conservatorship. The #FreeBritney social movement helped that conservatorship, once overseen by Britney’s father Jamie Spears, come to an end last month.
During an appearance on Daily Blast LIVE, one of Britney Spears’s most-famous former backup dancers was asked about the Pop culture icon. However, a question directed at Columbus Short focused on his rumored relationship with the “Toxic” hitmaker.
“You guys want some toast with those questions? Praise God that Britney is out of her conservatorship. She is allowed to be free to do her thing,” replied Columbus Short, purposely avoiding answering the question.
The Stomp the Yard actor continued, “She was a dear friend. It was an amazing part of my lifetime. [A] very big part of my life, on the trajectory of being able to operate on my gifts. Big shout out to [Britney] and her newfound freedom. I hope she keeps dancing.”
Previously, Columbus Short detailed his alleged hook up with Britney Spears in his Short Stories autobiography. The former Scandal star also claimed Spears’s parents once referred to him as a n##### after finding out she supposedly slept with the Kansas City-born choreographer. Britney’s mother, Lynne Spears, denied the accusation.
Columbus Short and veteran actress Vivica A. Fox were guests on Tuesday’s edition of Daily Blast LIVE to promote True To The Game 3. The cast of the David Wolfgang-directed movie also features Omar Gooding, Darius McCrary, Jeremy Meeks, Niatia “Lil Mama” Kirkland, and others.
Porsha Williams is currently promoting the Porsha’s Family Matters reality show and The Pursuit of Porsha memoir. One section of the book covers Williams’s past relationship with now-convicted sex trafficker Robert “R.” Kelly.
The Pursuit of Porsha reportedly details how R. Kelly allegedly invited the then-25-year-old Atlanta native to his Chicago mansion in 2007 to record music. Porsha Williams claimed she heard women being abused by Kelly and was traumatized by the experience.
This week, Porsha Williams stopped by The Tamron Hall Show to talk about the revelations detailed in her book. Hall asked The Real Housewives of Atlanta star about her time dealing with R. Kelly and why she spoke out about the ordeal now.
“Putting R. Kelly’s name in the book, because some people I named, some people I didn’t name, and putting his name in the book is just putting a name to another face that I had already encountered before,” stated Porsha Williams. “He had just been one of the men who was a predator in my life, who had taken advantage of me and mentally abused me in my life.”
Williams added, “So I saw him no different than those same men. That same darkness, the same treatment, they faced and met the same Porsha who didn’t know her self-worth. I didn’t love myself. I didn’t see who I was in those situations. I was a grown woman. I had a penthouse in Buckhead. I had my own business. I wasn’t your usual so-called victim. But because as a young woman, I did not value who I was.”
“Stop Shooting Volume 2: Global Love Revolution” is the sequel to their successful first outing Volume 1: Voices of Justice, released last July. While the first in the series addressed the important issues surrounding gun violence and police brutality, the sequel explores “solution-based actions and themes to alleviate these issues.”
The sophomore project was released on Friday, November 26 featuring 23 tracks with contributors from 6 continents. The lead single, “Global Love Warming” features ten artists from across the globe. Aloe Blacc (Panama/USA), Maya Jupiter (Australia/Mexico/Turkey), David D Omni (Cuba), Jason Chu (China/USA), Dumi Right (Zimbabwe/USA), Five Steez (Jamaica), C Boogie (USA), RG56 (Russia), Pretxs (Brasil), and produced by DJ Moar (France).
Hip Hop Loves provide a means and a platform for individuals to come together and make a difference in their communities.
“By creating art as a response to violence and oppression, these emcees are engaging nonviolent principles to fight for justice and change. The emcees are raising their voices and asking the public to listen and come together as one.”
The music project stems from a Harlem workshop for high school students back in 2014. Recorded around the time of the killings of Trayvon Martin and Eric Garner, the contributors worked with Dr. Yusef Salaam of the Central Park Exonerated to record “Times Are Changing: Hands Up Every Day.” That song marked the genesis of the project and the foundation soon recorded songs with students from HHL workshops in Atlanta and Moscow, Russia.
The 23-track project features artists from three different generations including 10-year-old emcee Imoik from Venezuela, homegrown 17-year-old emcee phenom Lil’ Dee, and legendary singer Peabo Bryson.
Other notable artists and living legends on the album include Aloe Blacc (Panama/USA), Michael McDonald (USA), Oleta Adams (USA), El Da Sensei (USA), J Rawls (USA), Maya Jupiter (Australia/Mexico/Turkey), Mirrah (Australia), Kamau (Brazil), Xidus Pain (UK), David D Omni (Cuba) Fatima Rivera (Chile), Mohammed Yahya (Mozambique/UK), Dumi Right (Zimbabwe), Jason Chu (China) Mikko Kapanen (Finland) and many others.
René John-Sandy II, Co-Founder and Executive Director of the Hip Hop Loves Foundation said the album focuses on adopting unity-based solutions.
“For volume 2 of this project we felt it was really paramount to encompass a feeling of oneness and Unity. Love is the key element in obtaining this. Also, we felt we can talk about all of the issues that exist, but if we don’t create some solutions addressing them, we are not serving justice to the cause. Global Love Revolution is the most fitting title to emphasize this.”
“Stop Shooting Volume 2: Global Love Revolution” is available on Bandcamp, iTunes, Spotify, Tidal, Google Play, and other various streaming platforms. Revenue and donations made to support the project on streaming platforms and www.hiphoploves.org will benefit the Hip Hop Loves Foundation to facilitate workshops with youths in Brazil and in the United States.

Three 6 Mafia and Bone Thugs-N-Harmony are set to go head-to-head in the next Verzuz battle. The musical matchup between two of the greatest rap groups of all time will take place on December 2.
Before the Verzuz contest airs live from The Hollywood Palladium in Los Angeles, Three 6 Mafia member Juicy J spoke to Nas and Miss Info for their The Bridge: 50 Years of Hip Hop podcast. The conversation included the Memphis native explaining why Three 6 Mafia split up.
“I would say drugs really broke Three 6 Mafia up,” admitted Juicy J. Then Nas specifically asked which drugs played a role in the separation. Juicy J responded, “The wildest drugs, from heroin to meth to cocaine, all kinds of pills.”
The 46-year-old rapper/producer continued, “A lot of drugs were consumed during the times we were together. When everybody was sober and s###, everybody’s on the same page. But when cocaine’s involved, things change. But I’m not pointing a finger at nobody.”
Three 6 Mafia was made up of Juicy J, DJ Paul, Gangsta Boo, and Crunchy Black as well as deceased rappers Lord Infamous and Koopsta Knicca. The southern collective’s discography contains the Platinum-certified When the Smoke Clears: Sixty 6, Sixty 1 and Most Known Unknown albums.
In 2006, Juicy J and DJ Paul won an Academy Award for “It’s Hard out Here for a Pimp” from the Hustle & Flow movie. As a solo act, Juicy J released several studio LPs including 2013’s Stay Trippy and 2020’s The Hustle Continues.
Bone Thugs-N-Harmony will enter the Verzuz arena with countless songs to use as ammo against Three 6 Mafia. The Cleveland-raised rhymers are responsible for hits such as “Thuggish Ruggish Bone,” “Foe tha Love of $,” “1st of tha Month,” and “Tha Crossroads.”
Teyana Taylor is known for her high energy, passionate onstage performances, and recent showings from her “Last Rose Petal Farewell Tour” have shown exactly why.
Teyana has driven social media into a frenzy after clips of her performing a sexually-charged lap dance emerged online. Jayda Cheaves is the latest beneficiary of one of Teyana Taylor’s sensual dances and can be seen sitting on stage while Teyana writhes and grinds on top of her.
Meanwhile, Jayda was trending on Twitter this weekend after her ex-boyfriend, Lil Baby was linked to Saweetie. Jayda, who shares a toddler son with Lil Baby liked and then unliked a post from Saweetie’s ex, Quavo. The post implied he and the “Drip Too Hard” rapper should switch exes.
Fortunately, it appears Teyana Taylor is back on top form after being rushed to hospital this weekend. She shared an update from her hospital bed reassuring her followers she was okay but in need of a break.
“Thank you for being so understanding. Y’all know Petunia don’t miss no shows & most importantly, know I’ve been leaving it all on tha stage for a month straight 1000%,” Teyana Taylor wrote on Instagram.
“My team & I tried everything down to the very last second to get me out on that stage, but my body simply just gave out, which actually started a few days ago…
“Y’all have seen me with a broken foot and all types of other crazy s### but still got on that stage and bodied it… But honestly you have to listen to your body and know when to sit down; or it will definitely sit you down… in the ER.”
Noted fashion designer Virgil Abloh passed away on November 28 at the age of 41. The Off-White brand founder left an enduring mark on the industry during his life.
Fellow Illinois native Vic Mensa shared a new song as a tribute to the late Virgil Abloh. “What You Taught Us” is a two-minute reflection on Abloh’s impact on Mensa and the wider culture.
“Virgil Abloh is synonymous with visionary,” says Vic Mensa. “To see him go from DJing Superfun parties in Chicago that Hollywood Holt would sneak me in when I was 16 to revolutionizing the way we think about design and its applications is a true inspiration to a generation that was blessed to be raised under his tutelage. Legends never die.”
Prior to his death, Virgil Abloh served as the artistic director for French fashion house Louis Vuitton. Abloh also once worked as the creative director of Kanye West’s Donda agency.
A statement on the verified Virgil Abloh Instagram account read:
We are devastated to announce the passing of our beloved Virgil Abloh, a fiercely devoted father, husband, son, brother, and friend. He is survived by his loving wife Shannon Abloh, his children Lowe Abloh and Grey Abloh, his sister Edwina Abloh, his parents Nee and Eunice Abloh, and numerous dear friends and colleagues.
For over two years, Virgil valiantly battled a rare, aggressive form of cancer, cardiac angiosarcoma. He chose to endure his battle privately since his diagnosis in 2019, undergoing numerous challenging treatments, all while helming several significant institutions that span fashion, art, and culture.
Through it all, his work ethic, infinite curiosity, and optimism never wavered. Virgil was driven by his dedication to his craft and to his mission to open doors for others and create pathways for greater equality in art and design. He often said, “Everything I do is for the 17-year-old version of myself,” believing deeply in the power of art to inspire future generations.
We thank you all for your love and support, and we ask for privacy as we grieve and celebrate Virgil’s life.

“We’re talking about individuals’ bodies,” he said back in September. “We’re not talking about something that’s political, or racism, or police brutality. Things of that nature. We’re talking about people’s bodies and well-being.”

Dave East is helping to keep the legacy of Nipsey Hussle alive more than two years after his tragic death. The rapper-turned-actor is following in his friend’s footsteps and has purchased a storefront in his native Harlem.
East shared the news with his followers via Instagram on Tuesday (Nov. 30). He posted a photo of himself holding up the keys to the property from inside the store. Followers of Dave East were also given a mini-tour of what looks to be an old convenience store.
“Bought My First Store Today,” he wrote in the caption. “I Told Nipsey He Laid The Blueprint For Real Ones Everywhere. Wish Shooter Could See This S###. Coming Soon 2022 Couldn’t Have Made This Happen Without @queenofharlem The Realest!!!”
Notably, Dave East shouted out his real estate agent Michelle Smalls who claims she saved him a cool $70k on the property. She also shared additional footage from East surveying his new purchase, inspecting the contents inside. It is unclear he is planning for the place, but he was informed the fridges work and are included in the deal.
“Thank you @daveeast for trusting me with your real estate needs. You kept it 100 and in return i saved you 70k,” Smalls wrote. “So proud of you . Time to buy the block .”
Dave was a friend and collaborator to Nipsey Hussle and has often spoken about how inspired he was by the visionary rapper. Last year, Dave East recalled the start of his friendship with Nip on an episode of “Drink Champs.”
“When I met Nip, everybody that was with me grew up with him. I met him in L.A., I met him off Crenshaw and Slauson in his parking lot right where that happened…” he said. “I called him. I said, ‘I’m in L.A.’ He said, ‘Go to the store.’ I just had Kairi, he said, ‘I’ma get you and your daughter a package together. Just go over there.’ At this time, Fatts was in the store. Rest in peace Fatts, that was his left-hand man. Fatts got me together, got me all kind of Crenshaw s**t for my moms, my daughter. Nip pulled up and from that day on, we were locked in.”
Megan Thee Stallion won’t be performing in her hometown on Friday as originally planned.
The Houston native has canceled a December 3rd concert, which was meant to celebrate her graduation from Texas Southern University. Megan Thee Stallion decided to call off the event in wake of the Astroworld Festival tragedy.
“Out of respect for the lives lost in Houston earlier this month, I have decided to cancel my show at 713 Music Hall on Dec 3,” she said in a statement. “Houston is still healing and it’s important that our community be given the appropriate time to grieve. My heart goes out to all the families that are suffering during this difficult time.”
Earlier this month, Megan Thee Stallion expressed her desire to help Astroworld Festival victims while speaking to Entertainment Tonight.
“Houston is my hometown,” she told ET. “It has a special place in my heart. I feel terrible. Whatever we can do, I want to help. I want to support. Always. That’s my duty. That’s what I gotta do.”
A total of 10 people died from injuries suffered at the 2021 Astroworld Festival. Travis Scott, Live Nation, NRG Stadium and more have been sued by hundreds of the event’s victims, who are seeking over $3 billion in damages.
Asian Doll knows controversy. In the past, her impassioned stances have been polarizing. So, how could a birthday invite become offensive? Well, it has actually happened. Recently, she announced her, “Escapes to India” themed birthday party. Unbeknownst to Asian Da Brat, this would lead to a tremendous amount of internet trolling.
Perhaps, this intense criticism is what lead the “No Exposing” rapper to delete her Instagram account. Many people have gone on to accuse the Dallas, TX native of cultural appropriation. See, this is an instance of the internet being a whole hypocrite.
The birthday invite does not possess any instances of demeaning jabs at the Asian culture. Nor, does it contain any pejorative undertones. Back in February, Asian Doll, did tweet out her thoughts about Indian food being “nasty.” That, in no way, justifies any leap to landing on cultural appropriation.
Embracing caution, Queen Von has issued a terse apology. “If I offended anyone I’m sorry. I’m still having my party tho [sic] just come as you are”
Along with an array of responses, check out her apology:
Why is it that Black people are often encouraged to turn cheeks and be unyieldingly inclusive; whereas, other ethnic groups are allowed to be exclusionary?
One of the dealers who distributed the drugs involved Mac Miller’s death claimed to not know what was in the pills.
Stephen Andrew Walter, 48, pleaded guilty to one felony count of distributing fentanyl on Tuesday. But at the hearing, Walter told the judge he wasn’t aware of what was inside the pills that were sold to Mac Miller.
“I was charged with selling blue pills, little blue counterfeit oxycontin pills … and I didn’t know what was in them,” Walter said, according to the New York Post. “I didn’t know, like, fentanyl was in it. But I do say, yes, that I aided and abetted the transaction.”
Ryan Michael Reavis, 38, also pleaded guilty to felony distribution of fentanyl on Tuesday. A case is still pending against a third co-defendant named Cameron James Pettit.
Mac Miller died from an accidental drug overdose in 2018. Pettit allegedly sold counterfeit oxycodone pills containing fentanyl to the late rapper.
The U.S. Attorney’s Office insists Walter knew the pills contained fentanyl despite his claims to the contrary. Prosecutors say he directed Reavis to provide the drugs to Pettit.
“I never met [Mac Miller] before,” Walter said at the hearing. “I only talked to Cameron. I didn’t know what his intentions were with the pills. After he saw Ryan Reavis, I didn’t know what he was going to do with them.”
Walter will be sentenced for his role in Mac Miller’s death on March 7, 2022. He and Reavis are both facing a maximum sentence of 20 years in prison.
Pain continues to soak countless faces. On November 17, the late King of Memphis‘ death rocked the genre. Although, Young Dolph has been buried, Hip-Hop continues to celebrate his enduring contributions. As a man, and as an MC, his actions have earned an unyielding respect. When Soulja boy reportedly dissed Dolph’s demise — Crunchy Black — was not having it. “F***, Soulja Boy; he ain’t talkin’ ’bout nothing!”
C.B. is the former hype-man, for the legendary Three 6 Mafia. In a video interview, he eloquently affirms his thoughts on Big Draco’s thoughtless statements. Black goes on to label Soulja Boy as “crazy.” He then alleges that Soulja Boy works his mouthpiece on men.
Crunchy Black’s caustic commentary continues. The “Sneaky Link” rapper is then purportedly praised for his innovative actions. ” “Soulja Boy saying some s**t but Soulja Boy, he crazy. He’s the first to do everything. I think he the first to suck a d**k before,” this according to C.B.
To put things in a better perspective, check out the below posted video. Soulja Boy drops callous comments about Young Dolph; press play.
Birdman and NBA YoungBoy’s From The Bayou project is going to see the light of day.
Four years after the collaboration was first announced, Birdman shared an unexpected update via social media on Monday. The Cash Money Records co-founder revealed the project is now scheduled to arrive on December 3.
“FROM THA BAYOU #STUNNA and TOP this FRIDAY 12/3 NEVA BROKE AGAIN #RICHGANG,” Birdman wrote on Instagram.
Birdman and NBA YoungBoy’s collaborative release was originally supposed to drop in March 2018. The release date came and went with no project as both artists never explained why it didn’t drop.
From The Bayou became an afterthought over the past few years as Birdman and NBA YoungBoy continued dropping music on their own. The former unleashed collaborative albums with Juvenile and Jacquees while the latter delivered a multitude of solo projects.
The upcoming Birdman collab continues a busy second half of 2021 for NBA YoungBoy. In September, he dropped his Sincerely, Kentrell album and reached the top of the Billboard 200 chart for the fourth time in his career.
NBA YoungBoy, who’s currently on house arrest for gun charges, also put out Never Broke Again: The Compilation, Vol. 1 in November. Birdman, on the other hand, hasn’t released a new project since 2019.
Kanye West believes that he has a plan to enhance the lives of the unsheltered in Southern California. The multi-hyphenate is partnering with others to help eradicate homelessness in Los Angeles.
According to TMZ the billionaire has connected with Rev. Troy Vaughn, CEO of L.A. Mission, to share his plan.
The first phase of his plan will target food insecurity for the unsheltered population. During the week of Thanksgiving, he donated 1,000 meals.
Other phases involve him tapping into his resources through his personally owned companies to contribute to establishing opportunities to provide education, jobs and job readiness, and housing.
Yeezy even believes that he can use his platform and inspirational Sunday Service choir to restore humanity into the often objectified and ignored population.
Indeed Ye sees this as God’s work.
As he spoke to the people who are supported and impacted by the work of L.A. Mission, he shared that he believes that God is using the ups and downs of his marriage to Kim Kardashian as an inspirational model for other couples. Despite the two being on course for divorce, the “Jesus Walks” chart-topper believes God will restore their relationship.
“That’s not the narrative that God wants,” he said. “The narrative that God wants is for you to see that everything can be redeemed.”
“In all these relationships, we have made mistakes. I’ve made mistakes,” he confessed.
“I’ve publicly done things that are not acceptable as a husband. But right now today … I’m here to change that narrative. I’m not letting E! or Hulu write the narrative for my family. I’m not letting Disney write the narrative,” he declared. “I am the priest of my home.”
He ended, “When God brings Kim K (and Me) together, it’s gonna be millions of families that are going to be influenced and know that they can overcome separation.”
As reported by AllHipHop.com, this is not the first time that Kanye has expressed that he wanted to work with homelessness and or restore his family. Just last week, during his Thanksgiving prayer on IG, he passionately asked her to forgive him and reconcile so they can be a family again.
On Sunday night, African singer Wizkid almost had a Travis Scott moment after fans recklessly stormed security barriers during the Made in Lagos Tour in London.
Luckily, the authorities at the O2 Arena swiftly handled the melee and prevented any significant injuries or deaths from happening.
However, they could not stop the videos from hitting the internet.
Represent London posted the chaos on its Twitter feed, captioning, “People are literally breaking in to see Wizkid at London o2.”
There could be several reasons. According to the New York Post, it was the first time that singer and tour opener Chris Brown performed in the U.K. since his 2009 Rihanna fight.
Another reason could be COVID-related. After being confined in their homes for almost two years, people just want to get out.
Some believe people just wanted to get in for free as suggested by the NY Post.
According to the O2 Arena’s spokesperson, the breach of the security cordon happened at the entrance of the arena entrance. In a statement, the spokesperson told the BBC, “a number of fans in the queue were able to enter the venue” and that the surge “was quickly contained by staff and the incident resolved.”
The venue is now “reviewing security procedures for the remaining shows this week and advises fans to arrive early for security checks tomorrow night and again on Wednesday.”
Mr. Alize, who attended the concert, said he felt safe.
He posted a video of people moving orderly with the caption, “@wizkidayo United Africans and Caribbean’s in O2 and it was beautiful I felt so safe amongst all my brothers and sisters – JUST PEACE! NO PROBLEM #StarBoy.”
