Open Relationship: Did King Yella Threaten Offset & Cardi B?

By Rico Panacea (@RicoPanacea)

(AllHipHop Rumors) Cardi B and Offset are making their news rounds once again. This relationship is reminiscent to a Othello and Emilia type love.

They love and they love hard. They’ve constantly been making headlines for their topsy-turvy relationship.

Offset has been accused of having sextapes and mistresses.

While Cardi has been constantly questioned as to why she would remain engaged to the fellow rapper.

Cardi recently was asked by a fan on Twitter about why she is the only one faithful in the relationship. To which Cardi responded, “How you figure that?”

Cardi would also offer a reason to why they’re together.

“I don’t date him or I’m not with him for the public. We not together for yaaaa we together cause we want to be.,” said Cardi B.

This relationship is crazy. Offset was also seen over the weekend getting Cardi B’s name tattooed on his neck.

King Yella also continued to offer his opinions about the couple.

“Cardi B the only reason you even said some tough sh*t was because you was recording. Don’t play with me.,” said King Yella. “F*ck you and your boyfriend.,” continued Yella.

This whole situation is vapid. Jejune is everything that’s happening with this at this point, but I don’t know. What do you all think?

Are you surprised that Cardi B and Offset seem to have an open relationship?

“Fake Sh*t”: Lil Uzi Vert Vs. DJ Drama & Rich The Kid

By Rico Panacea (@RicoPanacea)

(AllHipHop Rumors) Lil Uzi Vert made waves in 2017 with the release of “XO Tour Life” and his debut album.

‘Luv Is Rage 2’ features the “Xo Tour Life,” “The Way Life Goes” and the Pharell Williams produced “Neon Guts.”

The album was released via Atlantic Records. That isn’t a surprise seeing that DJ Drama is an A&R for the label.

For those who don’t know, Lil Uzi Vert is signed to a company called Generation Now. Generation Now is an imprint of Atlantic Records founded by DJ Drama and Don Cannon.

The imprint signed Lil Uzi Vert to a deal in 2015 and spoke about their situation to Pigeons and Planes in 2017.

“When we found him, he didn’t have a real situation going,” said Cannon. He continued, “He was doing things on things own, trying to get his music on. I felt like with our supernatural abilities we could take him out of here, and that’s basically all it comes down to. There’s not really a master plan to it. We just know what we can do with people that are passionate enough and have talent.”

Basically they groomed Uzi to become the Hip Hop superstar that we now see. However, Uzi doesn’t seem too thrilled about their business dealings.

Lil Uzi Vert has made headlines in 2017 and 2018 for financial information associated with his massive “XO Tour Life” single. The most recent headline being the single’s producer TM88 still not being paid for the record.

Uzi recently took to Twitter to vent.

“And if y’all do sign … sign 2 a major Dont sign 2 a rapper or a Dj ……..Its Just Easier When The Time Come For That Fake Sh*t,” said Uzi.

“Lets state the facts and see who REALLY on some fake sh*t,” Drama would later reply.

Rapper Rich The Kid would also chime in Saying,

“That’s why you SHOULDA signed Rich forever.”

To which Uzi would reply,

“Boy I’m not signing for 20racks.”

Rich The Kid would later also respond in a video clip.

“Hey man. Your boss ain’t treating you right. Your CEO ain’t treating you right. Come over to Rich Forever Music. You know what I’m saying. Come over to Rich Forever Music. Ya digg.,” said Rich The Kid.

2017 was very successful for Uzi, but he doesn’t seem happy with his current label situation. 2018 was poised to be a bigger year for the Philly native. Hopefully he can get his business dealings together.

Do you think Lil Uzi Vert will remain signed to Atlantic Records?

Tekashi 69 6ix9ine Before The Fame

(AllHipHop Rumors) That dude Tekashi 69 is really out there in the streets and when I say in the streets, I mean deep. What else is deep is the images of 6ix9ine before the fame. I knew he was Latino but the metamorphosis is that of a peppy White dude into a raging savage Blood. I am not sure what to make of this one. All I know is that this sh!t is crazy!

(AllHipHop News) Rapper Kanye West and his wife Kim Kardashian West are celebrating the birth of their third child.

Crackle Releases Official Trailer For 50 Cent’s “The Oath” TV Series

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jxqTCMzBiPY

(AllHipHop News) Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson is executive producing Crackle’s original scripted drama The Oath. A new trailer for the series hit the internet this week.

The show about gang culture stars Ryan Kwanten (True Blood), Cory Hardrict (American Sniper), Katrina Law (Training Day), Arlen Escarpeta (The Magicians), J.J. Soria (Animal Kingdom) and Sean Bean (Game of Thrones). The rest of the cast includes Michael Malarkey, Eve Mauro, Kwame Patterson, Linda Purl, and Elisabeth Röhm.

Crackle is premiering The Oath on March 8. All ten episodes will be available for streaming on the free, ad-supported network on that date.

Is This The Result Of The #MeToo Movement?

(AllHipHop Rumors) A lot of dudes out here ain’t SH!T! We know this as fact! And the blow back on all men is real as well. Some dudes that can’t get a real girl may be experience difficulties due to their inability to use crude and sick ways to do it. Now that society finds (and mostly has unless you are the president) this stuff reprehensible, there may be a solution for you freak-a-zoids!

For a few stacks ($2,850.00 to be exact), you can have your own big booty, lifesize thotty that will never say no to you, never can sue you and has a v##### too.

I have to admit, these bad boys are scary, especially with the artificial intelligence movement coming in like the Red Coats. Nevertheless, you can do whatever to this and let all your weirdo sexual stuff out on this doll that even comes with a retractable, interchangable v#####. Switch that cooch out as you see fit! Now, this will not help you get a wife, a girl, a cut buddy and any other form of real woman, but it may help keep your perverted ass out of jail. My only issue is the selection is really light for Black girls. What if you want a straight up Black woman or a darker person in general? You have no real options here. No afros and no melanin poppin whatsoever. Well, I take that back:

Guess Who Wants To Sign Lil Pump?

(AllHipHop Rumors) Lil Pump is ready to sign and he’s putting it out there that he’s ready to sign to somebody. DJ Akademiks managed to talk about the fact that Gucci Mane wants to sign the Florida rapper to a deal. As you should have heard, Pump was on Interscope but they deaded it, because he was too young to sign. I am not sure if that’s a good fit, but we’ll see. I find it interesting that Lil Pump is already the subject of SNL and things. He’s already a media darling! Why sign to anybody? I am not sure, but I guess the “Gucci Gang” movement makes it a visual fit for OG Gucci Mane.

I know Gucci has money, but I think this dude Lil Pump is looking for lottery money.

T.I. Gives Low Ratings For Lyrics By 2Pac, Iggy Azalea & Young Dro

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xsqLCPcD7FA

(AllHipHop news) T.I. was the latest entertainer to take part in BET’s “Rate The Bars” digital series. Without knowing the author, the Atlanta native had to give his opinion on lyrics by Ludacris, Iggy Azalea, Young Dro, 2Pac, Jeezy, Trae Tha Truth, Boosie Badazz, and B.o.B.

After rating Luda’s “Southern Gangsta” 3/5, T.I. bashed lines from his own one-time protégé. “Switch” by Iggy earned a 2.5/5 because it just “rhymes and it’s talking about things.”

Fellow Hustle Gang affiliate Young Dro also received criticism from his label head. Tip said, “You can’t just throw around threats. There’s no real technique to it. I gotta give it a 2.”

T.I. was also asked to rate bars from one of his musical influences – Tupac Shakur. The “No Mediocre” performer was not impressed with the legend’s “Something Wicked” either.

“I give this a 1. I gave it a 1 because it’s ‘rat, cat, dog, fog, run, fun.’ I’m done,” offered Tip. When it came to his own record “Kingofdasouth,” T.I. gave himself a 3.5/5.

BET Announces Premiere Date For ‘Death Row Chronicles’ Docuseries

All Eyez on Me, the Pac biopic, opened in theaters in June 2017. The documentary Who Killed Tupac? ran on A&E last year as well.

Additionally, the murders of Shakur and The Notorious B.I.G. are the subject of the upcoming scripted series Unsolved on USA. 12 Years A Slave director Steve McQueen has also been attached to an authorized documentary about Pac.

Vic Mensa Discusses His Politically-Charged “We Could Be Free” Video

https://youtu.be/mZhHhmK_GMM?list=PLyPFjzVEMIW8Vjep4pdWhWri0upCfXoqk

(AllHipHop News) “We Could Be Free” is the closing track on Vic Mensa’s 2017 album The Autobiography. A politically-charged music video for the song was released on Martin Luther King Jr. Day 2018.

Mensa spoke about “We Could Be Free” during an interview with Beats 1 Radio’s Zane Lowe. He broke down scenes from the visuals.

“At the beginning, you have this infant in the womb, a safe space you would think. But you’re hearing the turmoil outside and seeing how that affects the infant in the womb,” explained the Chicago-bred wordsmith.

Mensa went on to point out that footage from protests in Charlottesville, Palestine, and Standing Rock are projected behind him in the clip. Religion also played a big part in the imagery presented in the “We Could Be Free” music video.

“You have religion as a main source of division between people. I don’t think at its core that’s what religion was meant to be, but we juxtaposed those things in the video to show it doesn’t have to be that way,” said Vic.

Ava Duvernay Beats Jay-Z & Chance the Rapper At NAACP Image Awards

(AllHipHop News) Director Ava Duvernay was honored with the Entertainer of the Year prize at the NAACP Image Awards on Monday night.

The “Selma” filmmaker, who is set to release her latest project “A Wrinkle in Time” in the spring, won the public vote for the award over the likes of “Black Panther’s” Chadwick Boseman, Bruno Mars, “Insecure” actress Issa Rae, Chance the Rapper, and Jay-Z.

During her acceptance speech, the “Queen Sugar” creator and producer gave a shout out to writers and directors such as Shonda Rhimes and Dee Rees, before adding, “I got four words for you – Ryan Coogler’s ‘Black Panther.’ It’s coming. Three weeks later, another hero takes the stage, a little black girl with glasses, she saves the universe from darkness that seems to be all around us. It’s called ‘A Wrinkle in Time.’ It’s a love letter that I’ve made for family and community and the best in ourselves.

“This is our time. We can say we were here when all this gorgeous art was happening, and that we supported it – that we lifted each other up, that we did as Dr. King said we would do: Live the dream. We’re the dream. Thank you so much.”

The televised ceremony, which honors outstanding representations and achievements of people of color in entertainment, was hosted by Anthony Anderson at the Civic Auditorium in Pasadena, California on Monday, what would have been civil rights activist Martin Luther King Jr.’s 89th birthday.

Other winners included “Girls Trip,” which was named Outstanding Motion Picture, Get Out’s Daniel Kaluuya, for Outstanding Actor in a Motion Picture, while Octavia Spencer won the female version for “Gifted.”

In the television categories, “black-ish” dominated, winning Outstanding Comedy Series and acting prizes for Tracee Ellis Ross and Anthony Anderson.

“Power” was named Outstanding Drama Series and its lead actor Omari Hardwick won Outstanding Actor in a Drama Series, while Taraji P. Henson received the equivalent prize for “Empire.”

Jay-Z Moves To Trademark Jaybo Character From Story Of O.J. Video

(AllHipHop News) Jay-Z has filed documents to trademark animated character Jaybo from his video for the song “The Story Of O.J.”

The hip-hop star, real name Shawn Carter, worked with director Mark Romanek via Anonymous Content, and multimedia agency The Mill, to create the award-winning animated music video.

Jaybo draws on the character of “S####” from the 1899 children’s book “The Story of Little Black S####,” which was an object of accusations of racism in the mid-20th century, as well as other equally problematic minstrel animations, where many racist African-American stereotypes that continue to pervade modern culture originated from.

Jay’s critically acclaimed clip samples Nina Simone singing, “My skin is black,” and also features the 48-year-old rapping as images of cotton fields, burning crosses, slave ships and lynchings appear onscreen.

According to reports, S. Carter Enterprises is now planning to create products including T-shirts, sweaters, hats, blankets, pillows, dinnerware, mugs, cocktail shakers and thermal containers, featuring the controversial character.

Previously, Jay explained that the track was about the nature of success and seeing the bigger picture.

“‘The Story of O.J.’ is really a song about we as a culture, having a plan, how we’re gonna push this forward,” the rapper explained in an interview last year. “We all make money, and then we all lose money, as artists especially. But how, when you have some type of success, to transform that into something bigger.”

Is Eminem Coming For Joe Budden AGAIN?

(AllHipHop Rumors) Eminem apparently sent some jabs at his (former) homie Joe Budden. The whole ordeal manifested itself all the wrong way, in a tweet scuffle between Bizarre of D-12 and Budden. Em never really even said his name. Clearly, some of his Slaughter House brother’s commentary on the new album (which shall no be named) rubbed the Detroit rapper the wrong way. Now, there are rumors than Eminem might circle back and try to get Budden’s “cleaned up.” I am not sure why this is such a “thing,” since Em’s album is just not that good. I get that everybody gets the feels and folks want to protect Em like the president. But, I am thinking that the truth will set us all free. Joe isn’t a slouch on the mic to this day, but I will say I have Eminem winning any battle. Em’s raw intensity generally overpowers cats. Regardless, I think its all silly. Hopefully they work it out.
