Kalan.FrFr Taps Detroit’s Own Tay B For “Don’t Move” Video

Kalan.FrFr creates music with a therapeutic quality that snaps people out of the matrix and reminds them that there is still so much living to do.

“Don’t Move” featuring rising rapper Tay B is the second single off his latest EP Not Hard 2 Understand. The project is a special body of work that relishes in how simple the message should be. Kalan.FrFr doesn’t apologize for the ways street culture shaped his worldview but he celebrates it in sincere detail and delivers it with confidence and pride, showcasing his growth as an artist and young man.

Directed by BenMarc, the music video for “Don’t Move” gives viewers a cinematic glimpse into Kalan.FrFr’s popstar world that begins with the west coast artist backstage at a show before entertaining a packed-out crowd. From there, its quick clips of the duo trading verses in garage parking lots, while cruising the L.A. streets pushing a Maybach truck on hydraulics and generous strip club scenes. They match the energy of the collaboration including the song’s bouncy 808 beat.

Kalan.FrFr doesn’t shy away from highlighting rap’s superficiality or extravagance; he embraces it and turns it into a movie. His big dawg status is emphasized in every frame; from a fleet of exotic cars, models and dancers to icy drip, stacks of cash and celebrity cameos, the boastful lyricist is on a quest to live life beyond limits.

“Don’t Move” was produced by longtime collaborators Diego Ave, Chambers and George Jenkins and continues in Kalan’s tradition of trying to keep West Coast music alive. Meanwhile choosing Tay B for a collab during his ascent was a smart move as we hear the Detroit rapper’s next album is being executive produced by Lil Baby.

About the Cali-Mid, West collab, Kalan says “Working with Tay B was so dope, he’s the homie & bro rap fire; it was written! We didn’t have a choice but to make a banger “

Snoop Dogg Teases Unreleased Michael Jackson Collaboration: “I Think I Can Track It Down”

Snoop Dogg expressed interest in tracking down an unreleased song he recorded with the late Michael Jackson. The D-O-Double-G recalled how the collaboration came to be in a chat with Andy Cohen on SiriusXM.

“I gotta find out [what happened to it],” Snoop said. “It’s a record that was done for some sort of—you know, he did records for the world. It was like some peaceful, a whole lot of artists on it record. He called me one night and it was crazy because the way his voice came through the phone, he was like, ‘Snoop, it’s Mike. I have this song I want you to get on.’ I’m like, ‘Man, anything you want, Mike. It ain’t no problem. Talk to me.’ Then after we got past the song, he was like, ‘My mom always said that you look like someone in my family. I think we’re related.'”

Snoop said he never received any updates about the song as it remained unreleased. But the legendary rapper suggested it wouldn’t be too difficult for him to find the track and possibly share it with fans.

“I think I can find out who got it though,” he told Cohen. “I think I can track it down and figure out who has it.”

Earlier in the conversation, Snoop recounted a funny story in which he annoyed Jackson at an event in Las Vegas. The current Death Row Records owner and Jackson’s dressing rooms were next door to each other, causing a small issue. Snoop blew weed smoke into Jackson’s room, which didn’t sit well with the King of Pop.

“He’s right there looking at me,” Snoop told Cohen. “He said, ‘Snoop, don’t do that.’”

Snoop appeared on SiriusXM to promote his new movie The Underdoggs, which dropped on Friday (January 26). The film is available to stream on Amazon Prime Video.

6ix9ine Granted Release Following Arrest For Assaulting Girlfriend

Tekashi 6ix9ine received a conditional release in a domestic violence case on Thursday (January 25). According to the Associated Press, a Dominican judge released him from custody a week after he was arrested for allegedly assaulting his girlfriend Yailín la Más Viral.

Judge Fátima Veloz ordered 6ix9ine to pay $510 and undergo counseling as part of the terms of his release. He must cooperate with authorities, meeting them every two months until they conclude their investigation.

6ix9ine, whose real name is Daniel Hernandez, was arrested on domestic violence charges in the Dominican Republic on January 17. The charges stemmed from an incident in December 2023.

Waldo Pimentel, 6ix9ine’s attorney, claimed prosecutors fabricated evidence in the case. Prosecutor Ana Andrea Villa Camacho tried to convince the judge to keep the rapper in jail.

“We know perfectly well why victims do not file a complaint, why victims recant,” she said at the hearing.

Judge Veloz granted 6ix9ine’s release but issued protective orders to him and his alleged victim. Yailín was previously arrested for battery in Florida in December 2023. 6ix9ine posted videos of her hitting him on social media.

The domestic violence case emerged a few months after 6ix9ine was accused of assaulting two producers, Cristian Anthony Rojas and Nelson Alfonso Hilario García, in the Dominican Republic. He allegedly attacked them for spending time with Yailín.

6ix9ine secured bail in October 2023. A judge issued a restraining order and required him to participate in anger management.

The controversial rapper’s alleged assaults in the Dominican Republic added to his already extensive list of legal troubles. Before his rise to fame, 6ix9ine pleaded guilty to the use of a child in a sexual performance in 2015. He notoriously pleaded guilty to multiple charges related to the Nine Trey Gangsta Bloods and testified against the gang in 2019.

HoneyKomb Brazy Faces More Than Decade In Prison In Federal Gun Case

A grand jury indicted HoneyKomb Brazy and two other men, Miguel Hall and Mason Fuller, on federal gun charges in Alabama. According to Mobile’s FOX affiliate, the three defendants faced up to 15 years in prison for the charges. They are scheduled to be arraigned on Wednesday (January 31).

HoneyKomb Brazy, whose real name is Nashon Jones, and his bodyguards were arrested on felon in possession of firearms charges in December 2023. Mobile County sheriff’s deputies pulled the trio’s vehicle for alleged traffic violations. Brazy was a passenger.

Authorities discovered two guns in the vehicle during the traffic stop. Hall, the driver, was wearing a bulletproof vest.

All three men were barred from possessing firearms due to past convictions. Brazy was previously convicted of first-degree robbery, first-degree assault, first-degree possession of marijuana and illegal possession of firearms.

Brazy’s lawyer Josh Briskman believed the rapper was unfairly targeted by authorities. Briskman claimed the guns did not belong to his client. Brazy allegedly did not know his bodyguards were felons.

“I think they’re ganging up on him,” he said. “I really do. I think this is a guy that a tried to do everything the right way. His management team hired the security detail.”

Briskman added, “Mr. Jones’ safety was at everybody’s forefront concern. And they tried to do this in a way where this would be outside the bounds of anything questionable. And it hasn’t worked out that way.”

Brazy was busted for felony gun possession less than a week after he avoided prosecution for indecent exposure. Last November, Brazy was arrested for indecent exposure stemming from a 2021 incident in jail.

The rapper was accused of exposing himself to a corrections officer while he was in custody. The alleged victim did not want the case to move forward, so the charge was dropped.

Eminem Flames Benzino On “Doomsday Pt. 2” Diss Track—Gets Response

Eminem dissed his old foe Benzino on Lyrical Lemonade’s All Is Yellow album, which dropped on Friday (January 26). Slim Shady reignited their beef on a track titled “Doomsday Pt. 2.”

“What is the opposite of Benzino? A giraffe/Go at his neck, how the f### is that?/How can I go at something he doesn’t have/Arms so short he can’t even touch his hands/When they’re above his head doing jumping jacks/Sorry, I don’t mean to upset you Ben/When I talk about all the debt you in/I hear that you been creeping on the low/In them cheap hotels that they catch you in,” Eminem rapped.

The verse included a reference to Benzino’s daughter Coi Leray. Eminem hinted at Benzino ruining any chance of Em collaborating with Leray.

“Jesus Christ, dog, when you said 210/Never guessed you meant at the Red Roof Inn/In a room with one single bed, two men/Shady, man, you can’t, yes, you can/Well, I guess then I regret to inform you, hate to spoil the day/But this doesn’t bring me no joy to say/Guess that Coi Leray feat’s in the toilet, ay,” Eminem rapped.

Benzino responded to the diss via Instagram. He sent multiple messages to Southpawer, an Eminem fan page.

“Man c’mon, people are out here starving and this what he on?” Benzino wrote. “That nursery rhyme bs??? He can’t even come out side on his own. Nah bro sorry. That ain’t it. People in Detroit are f##### up. He got millions. Doing absolutely nothing.”

He continued, “Why won’t he fight me? Boxing. I’ll beat the link off him. He can’t even go across the street his entire life without security. I’m too old for this rap … Bro he’s too old and nobody cares. C’mon man grow up.”

Leray reacted to Eminem name-dropping her on X (formerly known as Twitter). She criticized rap beef and brushed off the track.

“Rap beef is so washed and tired,” she wrote. “Exhausting. Embarrassing. Just f###### over all corny as f###. I got no issues with no one. I’m so locked in on my grown and sexy vibes… if anybody don’t like me, that’s something they gotta take on with them selves.”

Listen to Eminem’s diss below.

Benny The Butcher Shouts Out MSNBC’s Ari Melber—Rap’s Favorite Anchor

Benny The Butcher and Jadakiss teamed up for a new single called “Pillow Talk & Slander” featuring Babyface Ray. Taken from Benny’s Def Jam debut Everybody Can’t Go, the track comes with a shoutout for MSNBC anchor Ari Melber, Hip-Hop’s chosen one. While Melber was flattered by the mention, it wasn’t the first time. Dave East also mentioned Melber in November 2022 on the track “Eyes Can See.”

By now, Melber has grown accustom to being embraced by the rap community—and “Pillow Talk & Slander” is no exception. In a clip shared with AllHipHop, MSNBC producers highlight the line: “They know my body/I’m on MSNBC talking politics with Ari.” They also include a clip of Benny’s appearance on The Beat with Ari Melber.

“Benny and Jadakiss are as real, independent and dope as MCs get, so this shoutout means a ton,” Melber tells AllHipHop. “Benny has said it don’t always feel as good as it looks — but this did! Bananas. And real Hip-Hop has always been about truth. Same for real journalism, so there can be a mutual respect there.”

Melber has fully ingrained himself in Hip-Hop culture. In 2022, JAY-Z turned Melber’s 11-minute dissection of the “GOD DID” verse into an official track on TIDAL called “HOV DID.” In the original clip, Melber explored how JAY-Z’s verse encapsulated America’s failed drug war. He highlighted several portions of Hov’s lyrics, exploring everything from the legalization of marijuana to Roc Nation’s Emory Jones serving 10 years for drug dealing.

“Those lines quickly go from prohibition to a war on street drugs associated with minorities … to fentanyl, a huge driver of drug problems and deaths, which politicians do not treat criminally the same way they attack the drugs that Jay or others once sold,” Melber said. “I can tell you corporations have made over $10 billion selling addictive painkillers legally, so that’s a contrast.”

Melber concluded his breakdown with a callback to the Louis Farrakhan interview. He mentioned a straightforward reading of JAY-Z’s bars before pointing out his interpretation regarding the hypocrisy of the war on drugs.

“Decades in, this billionaire entrepreneur with proven success – measurable success – in music, media, sports, business, law and politics still finds he must explain basic facts about American corruption and racism to elite and white society,” he said said. “And many leaders and people still don’t see or refuse to face it. That kind of entitled ignorance, which can cause real damage to real people’s lives, well that might raise your ire. It might get your passion talking.”

Something tells us Benny The Butcher’s mention won’t be the last time we hear about Ari Melber in a song. Check out “Pillow Talk & Slander” below.

Nicki Minaj & Megan Thee Stallion Are Throwing Low Blow After Low Blow

Nicki Minaj and Megan Thee Stallion are back at it, and their fans are tossing gas on the fire. It’s getting intense. It all started last Friday (January 19) when Megan dropped “Hiss,” where she’s clearly clapping back at her critics. Megan went hard at her ex-man Pardison Fontaine but cast some serious shade at Nicki Minaj and her husband, Kenneth Petty.

The verse about “Megan’s Law” is a low blow (unless you are a fan of hers). Honestly, it’s some next-level wordplay, a proverbial bar.  “These h##s don’t be mad at Megan, these hoes mad at Megan’s Law/I don’t really know what the problem is, but I guarantee y’all don’t want me to start/B####, you a p#$$y!!!” Basically she’s referencing the law about publicizing registered sex offenders, and the internet is reading it as a direct strike at Nicki’s man. There’s even a mysterious R. Kelly mention and people that know feel it’s a jab at Ms. Minaj.

Now, we know Nicki wasn’t just gonna sit there and take it. She clapped back hard with a preview of a new diss song. It says, “Bad b#tch she like 6 foot, I call her bigfoot/The b#### fell off, I said get up on your good foot.” Then Nicki struck with a bunch of horse memes and foot mockery. All of a sudden, the internet’s on fire right now with the hashtag #Bigfoot thanks to Nicki’s jabs at Megan’s feet. This won’t end soon, but I’m glad to hear them battling on wax.

It ain’t “The Takeover” or “Ether,” but I appreciate the energy. Let wait and hear what Nicki has for us. Maybe Petty will bust a rap. LOL!

Here’s some of the gas I mentioned in the beginning.

Charlamagne Tha God & DJ Envy Duck Questions About Jess Hilarious Joining “Breakfast Club”

Will Jess Hilarious become the official third host of The Breakfast Club? At one point, online speculation suggested the comedian would join DJ Envy and Charlamagne Tha God on the iHeartMedia-backed show.

However, there could be conflict brewing between Jess Hilarious and The Breakfast Club team. Former NFL players Brandon Marshall and Cam Newton appeared on the program this week, and the topic of Jess With The Mess came up.

“What happened?” Cam Newton asked DJ Envy and Charlamagne Tha God. “Before we get out of here, the people… I want to know… What happened with Jess Hilarious on The Breakfast Club?”

Both DJ Envy and Charlamagne Tha God ignored Cam Newton’s question about Jess Hilarious, and they attempted to end the interview. Earlier this month, Charlamagne expressed being upset that a permanent third host had not been hired.

“We said we were gonna start 2024 off with a new host and that hasn’t happened yet,” Charlamagne Tha God told TMZ. The Radio Hall of Fame inductee also stated, “I don’t know, I don’t know, I don’t know. But I’m not happy. We’ll find out soon enough though.”

Cam Newton’s line of questioning on The Breakfast Club came after Jess Hilarious blasted Charlamagne and Envy on her Instagram Story. On Tuesday (January 23), the Baltimore-bred internet personality called out the Power 105.1 stars for comparing SZA to Mary J. Blige.

Meek Mill Claims He Made $100M In His Life

Meek Mill once again has social media reacting to one of his posts. On Wednesday (January 24), the Philadelphia-bred rapper insisted his career earnings topped nine figures, stirring up a conversation online.

“Play dumb to dumb people… and act smart around smart people!” Meek Mill tweeted. A Twitter (X) user quote-tweeted the rapper and added, “Don’t listen to this n#### [man facepalming emoji]. Be yourself and get a better circle so you won’t be around some dumb n####.”

In response, Meek wrote, “I made over [$100 million] in my life… I feed my community my family and change laws that send black and brown men to prison systematically… and I [have] been on a 10-year success rate of the 1% of black men… why should they listen to you lol.”

Meek Mill first broke out as a recording artist with the Rick Ross-assisted singles “Tupac Back” and “Ima Boss” in 2011. He went on to earn multiple platinum plaques for tracks such as “R.I.C.O.” and “Going Bad” featuring Drake.

The studio albums Dreams Worth More Than Money from 2015 and Championships from 2018 topped the Billboard 200 chart. Meek also made his way into the film industry as an actor in HBO Max’s Charm City Kings drama.

As a founding partner of REFORM Alliance, Meek Mill played a role in passing criminal justice reform laws in several states, including Michigan and California. Last December, the 36-year-old Hip-Hop star got emotional during a probation reform bill signing ceremony in Pennsylvania.

Kevin Hart Talks Giving Dave Chappelle Advice On Touring

Kevin Hart and Dave Chappelle are considered two of the most successful stand-up comics of the last 20 years. Both legendary comedians have mastered the art of entertaining arena-size crowds.

Former The Daily Show host Trevor Noah caught up with Kevin Hart for an episode of Spotify’s What Now? podcast. The program included Hart recalling how he supposedly inspired Dave Chappelle to move to larger venues.

“I sparked the arena bug… I sparked it with Dave and Chris [Rock],” Kevin Hart told Trevor Noah. The Philadelphia native added, “I gotta be honest with you Trev, I do. And here’s why. Let me tell you why. Hear me out. And I bet when I say this, you’ll agree.”

Hart then stated, “Here’s how I got Dave. Here’s how I got Dave bit with the bug. I said, ‘Listen to me, Dave. The beauty of doing the arenas, when you’re a good comic, is turning the arenas into an intimate environment.'”

Over the last decade, Kevin Hart has embarked on live events such as the What Now? Tour and the Reality Check Tour. Those treks produced the comedy specials What Now? in 2016 and Reality Check in 2023.

Hart also maintained a film career. His latest motion picture, Lift, landed on Netflix on January 12. Previously, he starred in movies such as Soul Plane, Think Like a Man, and Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle.

Dave Chappelle has numerous stand-up specials too. The Washington, D.C. representative recently presented The Dreamer on Netflix. Additionally, his filmography includes The Nutty Professor, Half Baked and Chi-Raq.

Chrisean Rock Clarifies Move Back Into Blueface’s Home: “He Already Apologized”

Chrisean Rock is responding to the backlash after announcing she was moving back into the home she shared with Blueface while the MILF Music founder is in jail.

On Thursday (January 25) the” Baby Father Drama” hitmaker shared an image of herself in front of a moving truck captioned, “Moving back with my baby daddy.” She later posted photos of her and Chrisean Rock. Jr inside Blueface’s home.

Instagram/Chrisean Rock

However, fans disapproved of the move, prompting Chrisean Rock to defend herself on Instagram Live.

“Y’all mad I forgave a n####. Okay? He forgave me too, right?” she began. According to Chrisean Rock, everything Blueface did after their split was “out of spite” to get back at her. She also referred to their subsequent relationships as “alternatives.”

She also insisted that Blue apologized to her privately, and she doesn’t need him to do so publicly for acceptance from Instagram followers.

Nonetheless, Chrisean Rock suggested she may have made some sacrifices to live at Blueface’s home. ” So, if I wanna take off bookings, if I wanna be on lockdown…” she stated before trailing off.

Rock claims she and Blueface mended their relationship before he handed himself into jail, so she stopped bashing him in public.

“We was vibing, we was co-parenting,” she said, adding, “that’s why you see me shut up. Out of nowhere I started shutting up.”

The rapper and reality star also denied rumors Blue is housed in protective custody. “This is his city; this is his state. The biggest n#### in L.A., California,” she declared.

“He’s not in general population,” she said before describing his living situation. “You’re still in jail but it’s worse. You don’t get no yard time, you stay in the cell,” she said, adding that conditions are similar to a “dog pound.”

Snoop Dogg & 50 Cent Reveal They Give Back To Hip-Hop OGs: “That’s Who We Are”

Snoop Dogg opened up about him and 50 Cent giving back to Hip-Hop OGs who are down on their luck.

During the latest of All The Smoke podcast, the Death Row Records boss discussed pioneering rappers being cast aside in today’s musical climate.

“There’s many times where me and 50 Cent together have called some of our OGs and put bags on it,” Snoop Dogg told hosts Matt Barnes and Stephen Jackson. “That’s what it gotta be. But that’s who we are, that’s who me and 50 is. I can’t speak for everybody else.”

He continued, “I don’t have to say the person or the people but he feel like I feel. If it’s an OG that need it, that’s down, that don’t know how to ask for it…”

Snoop joked that he dislikes Fiddy “beating me to the donation pile.” He added, “We gone’ have to donate together.”

50 Cent co-signed Snoop Dogg’s remarks, sharing a podcast clip on Instagram.

“All facts @snoopdogg is the real deal no [cap],” he wrote in the caption.

https://www.instagram.com/reel/C2isrclOe7w/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link&igsh=MzRlODBiNWFlZA==

Snoop Dogg explained that while he and 50 Cent “set an example,” and give back behind the scenes, public recognition is also necessary.

“That’s what it’s supposed to be. Because now the young generation respect your elders because you making all this money. Not that you have to but if you love this rapper and respect this rapper you see he’s down on his luck, he may need some money, but he has pride. He can’t even ask you cuz he used to be you. But you have enough man in you to say, ‘Unc, I’ma throw you something.’”

Nicki Minaj Fires Back At Megan Thee Stallion: “You Have 3 Grammys & Can’t Find The Beat”

Nicki Minaj appears to be firing back at Megan Thee Stallion, mocking her rapping skills and accusing her of lying about having liposuction in an upcoming song.

She took to Instagram Live to preview the track shortly after Megan lit up the net with her scathing new song, “Hiss.”

“These hoes don’t be mad at Megan, these hoes mad at Megan’s Law,” Megan rapped on the new track, which many took as a shot at Nicki Minaj and her sex offender husband, Kenneth Petty.

“Megan’s Law” requires law enforcement authorities to make information available to the public regarding registered sex offenders.

Apparently, it’s not just social media users who believe the H-Town Hottie targeted her “Hot Girl Summer” collaborator.

Nicki Minaj shared a snippet of her new diss while taking cryptic shots at someone who fits Megan Thee Stallion’s description.

She opened her track with a line that seemingly referenced Tory Lanez shooting Megan: “Bad b#### she like 6 foot, I call her big foot/the b#### fell off, I said get up on your good foot.”

Minaj instructed her engineer, “I want that last line to be heard perfectly guys.”

Elsewhere on the livestream, Minaj seemingly mocked Megan Thee Stallion, half-heartedly rapping about Bun B and Pimp C in a Southern accent that sounded strikingly similar to Meg.

“First you got to find the beat! You gotta catch the beat!” Minaj said off camera. “And until you catch that beat, you will be running on your good foot for the rest of your sorry days. You gone’ have to skip b####!”

Nicki Minaj Implies Megan Thee Stallion Lied About Lipo

She also teased, “I’m about to post a picture of my feet,” before referencing Pardison Fontaine’s diss to Meg. “Pardi emptied a full clip, so I hope that was gotten back to, Ms Lying Lipo,” Minaj said.

“No, no no! I got to give you your lashes b####,” she added. “Because you have three Grammys, and you have to learn how to rap on the beat and be comfortable in the music.”

Although she admitted, “This is so f###### entertaining to me,” Minaj also claimed, “I didn’t wanna do it.”

Megan Thee Stallion didn’t address Nicki Minaj directly. However, she seemingly responded with a photo of herself laughing hysterically on her Instagram Story.

Megan Thee Stallion Bombs On Exes & Sets Social Media Ablaze With New Single “Hiss”

Megan Thee Stallion did not hold back on her new single “Hiss,” airing out her haters, and her exes in spectacular fashion.

Continuing the serpent theme following the release of “Cobra,” in November, the H-Town Hottie lit up the internet with her new single Friday (January 26).

Clocking in at a little over three minutes, Megan doesn’t waste a second, bombing on her critics from the outset.

“I just want to kick this s### off by saying, ‘f### y’all,’” Megan Thee Stallion declared in the “Hiss” intro. “I ain’t gotta clear my name on a muthafuckin’ thing.”

From there, Megan goes on to address the obsession with her sex life, noting, “My p#### so famous, might get managed by Kris Jenner next,” before calling out exes who need to “let it go.”

Megan Thee Stallion fires off multiple subliminal shots on the track, leaving social media sleuths scouring the net for clues.

“These hoes don’t be mad at Megan, these hoes mad at Megan’s Law,” was one line that many took as a shot at Nicki Minaj and her sex offender husband, Kenneth Petty. “Megan’s Law” requires law enforcement authorities to make information available to the public regarding registered sex offenders.

“I can never be judged by a b#### that was dancin’, makin’ R. Kelly go viral,” Megan raps.

Another line targeted fraudulent rappers who “hate on BBLs and be walkin’ ’round with the same scars.”

Megan also seemingly addressed her ex, Pardison Fontaine’s diss track.

“Hate when a n#### be kissin’ and tellin,’” she raps. “Say he a player, but he in his feelings/Bet I won’t give up the p#### again/S###, should’ve gave it to his friend.”

Elsewhere on the track, she alludes to her courtroom drama with Tory Lanez, as well as her cheating exes.

Listen to the track below and check out some of the reactions at the end of the page.

50 Cent Sued For Bashing Woman’s Face With Microphone

50 Cent is being sued for causing “severe injuries” to a woman after he threw a microphone into the crowd. According to legal documents, concert-goer Bryhana Monegain claims she was hit in the face and wrist by the equipment.

A video had previously surfaced of the incident that happened in September, showing the rapper tossing the mic in the crowd after becoming frustrated with the sound system. At the time, he was investigated for battery, but the DA’s office did not pursue the matter.

Now Bryhana has filed a lawsuit against the “Get Rich or Die Tryin'” rapper.

“Immediately after the incident, she was transported by ambulance to the Los Angeles General Medical Center emergency department for treatment of injuries, including but not limited to, a concussion, laceration over her forehead, and pain in her left wrist,” reads the statement. “She complained of dizziness, headaches, light and sound sensitivity, and nausea.”

It goes on to state that she “continues to suffer from severe injuries and emotional distress.” 50 Cent has not yet responded to the claims.

Like Dad Kanye West, North Takes On Paparazzi In Leaked “Vultures” Video Treatment Clip

Kanye West has seemingly passed on his fiery demeanor and dynamic sense of creativity to his daughter North. On Thursday (January 25), footage began circulating of North breaking down the mood board constructing the visual treatment for the single she debuted at West’s Miami Vultures event last year.

North appears to have no issues adhering to the rapper aesthetic her father helped create, as plans for the visual include include her own entourage and multiple scenes driving a Lamborghini.

However, it appears the scene that proves North is West’s mini-me is the frame capturing her and her squad leaving popular Nobu and getting involved in a confrontation with paparazzi.

“And then it’s all my friends in vultures merch, and then it’s like one vulture flying around,” she explained. “Drive over to Nobu and it’s like, getting night, it’s almost night. So then I go, ‘It’s your bestie,’ just driving. Then they’re waiting, just waiting at Nobu like, ‘Miss miss Westie.’ And then we get out of the car, but there’s so much paparazzi and me and my friends yell out of the car, ‘Don’t try to test me!’”

There’s no denying North has been emulating West’s influence in many different ways over the years. In addition to getting fly in notorious archive pieces from pops’ wardrobe, North recently got a custom iced-out grill just like her famous father.

Kevin Hart Dealt Legal Blow In Tasha K Defamation Case

A Los Angeles County judge denied Kevin Hart’s request for a temporary restraining order in his legal battle with Tasha K on Thursday (January 25). According to Courthouse News and Rolling Stone, Judge Mitchell Beckloff found no reason to make Tasha K remove a tell-all interview with Hart’s former assistant from her website.

“I think the request is overbroad,” the judge said. “The request is vague. I’m not sure what ‘any content relating to Kevin Hart’ is.”

Hart wanted the judge to force Tasha K to take down the interview, which is behind a paywall. The comedian claimed the interview defamed him and violated his ex-assistant’s NDA.

“There’s no questioning them,” Hart’s lawyer Donte Mills said. “There are things said by the speakers that are illegal. It’s defamatory, it’s extortion, and it absolutely shows malice on their part. Not once was there ever any claim stating that my client committed a crime until this video. I think that’s important. Adultery is one thing, but adultery is not illegal.”

Judge Beckloff was unconvinced, noting how Hart’s team did not submit a transcript of the interview. Mills told the judge no transcript was filed because the information would be available via public records, defeating the purpose of the temporary restraining order.

Hart filed his lawsuit over the tell-all interview in December 2023. He sued his ex-assistant Miesha Shakes and Tasha K for defamation, extortion and invasion of privacy.

The lawsuit specifically targeted Shakes for breach of contract. Tasha K was accused of intentional interference with contractual relations.

Hart joined the growing list of celebrities who’ve sued Tasha K. The vlogger famously lost a defamation case to Cardi B with a jury awarding more than $4 million to the rapper. Tasha K filed for bankruptcy after losing her appeal in the Cardi B case.

Pras’ Attorney David Kenner Pleads Guilty To Contempt Of Court In Fugees Rapper’s Case

Pras’ now former attorney, David Kenner, pleaded guilty to contempt of court on Thursday (January 25). Kenner stands accused of leaking confidential federal grand jury files to two reporters in 2023. The leaked files contained information related to an upcoming trial involving the Fugees rapper. Kenner admitted to violating court rules by sharing the sealed documents with members of the media prior to the high-profile trial.

“Unfortunately,” spokesperson Erica Dumas said in a statement to AllHipHop, “former attorney David Kenner failed at every turn to competently represent Pras over the course of this lengthy legal battle.”

Pras was found guilty on 10 criminal counts in a Washington D.C. courtroom last April. Pras is accused of helping Malaysian businessman Jho Low gain political influence in the U.S. in exchange for $100 million. He was facing 11 federal charges, including conspiracy, witness tampering and failing to register as an agent of China.

The dramatic trial included testimony from Leonardo DiCaprio and former Attorney General Jeff Sessions. Tales of alleged corruption, greed and failed conspiracies bounced off the courtroom walls for three weeks. Prosecutors contend the Grammy-winning MC—who also admitted to being a F.B.I. informant— was paid millions by Low to secure access to both the Obama and Trump administrations. They said he also attempted to use those connections to advocate on Low and China’s behalf.

In 2012, Low paid Pras $20 million to help Low get a picture with Barack Obama. Prosecutors said Pras funneled more than $800,000 of that money to the Obama Victory Fund through various straw donors at several events attended by Obama. Pras would allegedly receive the $100 million from Low years later to advocate for Chinese dissident Guo Wengui’s release from the U.S. to China.

After learning of the Justice Department’s investigation, prosecutors said Pras sent letters to the straw donors, telling them the money was a loan they needed to pay back or face legal action.

At the time, Kenner argued there was no evidence Pras had “willfully or deliberately” violated any laws in taking the money. He said Pras was acting primarily on the advice of his financial manager and attorneys.

Low, according to the Justice Department, allegedly misappropriated more than $500 million from the sovereign wealth fund 1Malaysia Development Berhad (1MDB) with wire transfers to shell companies he and others owned. Some of the proceeds were used for the production of DiCaprio’s film The Wolf of Wall Street.
