Did T.I. Try To Use The Bible To Defend His Adultery?

(AllHipHop Rumors) T.I.’s posts about his cheating are getting more and more entertaining and interesting by the minute.

You would think that T.I. wouldn’t even want to comment on his cheating, but as far as public opinion goes, he takes every opportunity to defend of justify his actions instead of taking true responsibility for them.

In a bit of a plot twist, Tip took to Instagram to use the Bible to justify his actions….. well kinda.

He should’ve known this one would surely get a rise out of folks!

“Then they reminded Jesus that adultery was punishable by stoning under Mosaic law and challenged him to judge the woman so that they might then accuse him of disobeying the law. Jesus thought for a moment and then replied, “He that is without sin among you, let him cast the first stone at her.” Gods word……Pick it UP!!!!! If he’s wit me ????????who’s against me!!! I rebuke thee -My Grandmama Willie Bell voice #AllTheWayThatWay,” said Tip.

T.I. seemed to be taking the “we all sin, only God can judge me route”. I’m not here to dispute it either way, but most felt like T.I., with most people two things happen: 1. Folks use the bible or being able to be forgiven for their sins as an excuse to do f-ckery, and 2. People love to find faults in others because they “sin” differently than them.

While Tip may or may not be too far off (you be the judge), most of his fans seemed to wonder if he’s actually sorry for his actions, and does he have any intention on rectifying them, or taking responsibility for them.

Rick Ross Says He Could’ve Gone In On Birdman Even More

(AllHipHop Rumors) Rick Ross has never been shy about revealing how he feels about Birdman.

Ross has expressed on multiple occasions that he felt like he had to defend DJ Khaled and Lil Wayne when it came to their business dealings with Birdman.

Ross previously says that if Birdman could burn good dudes like Khaled and Wayne, then he already knew how he felt about him. He also seemed to believe that Baby had indeed been stealing Cash Money artists’ royalties.

In a recent interview with Hip Hop Uncensored, Rozay says that he could’ve actually gone in on Birdman even more.

“We been letting our actions speak for itself. He did partnerships with Cash Money & Birdman. You know I feel like I somewhat became a part of that. My level of support with my brother, you know my genuine respect I gave you know, Cash Money. Like I say. If it ain’t mine I don’t want it. But if it’s mine, oh yeah. I’ll die for it. That was one of them situations. I spoke on it. I could’ve went much deeper, but I addressed the things I felt need to be addressed…. I watched my homie walk away from something that was owed to him. As I watched everybody else that was affected, I just felt like it’s not right, and I felt like I should say something.”

Surprisingly Birdman didn’t have too much to say in the past in response to Ross. Perhaps because he doesn’t want to put any energy into it, or maybe he knows Ross is speaking the truth. Do you think more people should be standing up for Wayne?

Karrueche Confirms Whether Or Not She’s Dating This Migos Member

(AllHipHop Rumors) Rumors have been swirling for a few weeks now in regards to Karrueche and Migos member Quavo allegedly dating.

The two have been spotted in the same cities together, and at the same celebrations also, so this has certainly fueled even more speculation about them officially being an item.

Quavo doesn’t seem like he’d exactly be Karrueche’s type, but then again, what do I know. Maybe Karrueche is down for another fun ride. One of the times they were spotted together at the same venue, she did look miserable that day though.

At a premiere for TNT’s ‘Claws’ Karrueche was asked by The Shade Room if she was dating Qyavo. She seemed to laugh it off and blush, before stating that she’s single.

We know what that means Kae: y’all are talking or smashing but haven’t put a title on it yet. Y’all are just kicking it and having fun. No judgment here. We get it. Carry on.

By the way, we don’t believe you Kae, but you are a cute liar.

Chance The Rapper’s Social Works NonProfit To Help Offer Kids Summer Audio Courses

(AllHipHop News) Chance The Rapper continues to offer educational assistance to young people.

After donating $1 million to the Chicago school system and setting up a contest for aspiring filmmakers to learn about the art form, Chance is now using his Social Works nonprofit organization to provide youth-centered music courses.

The Grammy winner announced Social Works is teaming with LANDR to present audio mastering classes for 75 kids this summer.

“The pursuit of creating art is a universally honest and necessary expression of our hopes, dreams, and emotions— art is rooted in our innate sense of curiosity, none more so than from the infinite imagination of our youth. However, these journeys of personal expression are never just black and white, and not every voice gets heard,” said Chance in a statement. “That’s why SocialWorks and LANDR are launching a summer program to provide students in Chicago the necessary tools to tell their stories to the world. Together, we’ll shape the musicians of tomorrow, by supporting the kids today.”

The SocialWorks and LANDR alliance will be part of the Kids of the Kingdom Summer Music Academy in Chicago.

LANDR – which is made up of a community of over 1 million music creators – will also donate $1 to SocialWorks for every new user that masters a track with its software between June 6 and June 20.

In addition, 10% of all purchases will go to the SocialWorks Music Academy.

According to its website, Social Works’ mission is to empower Chicago youth through the arts, education, and civic engagement.

 

Nas Owes The State of California Hundreds Of Thousands In Taxes

(AllHipHop News) Rapper Nas has reportedly been hit with a $294,000 tax lien.

Officials at California’s Tax Franchise Board filed the $294,100 lien against the “One Mic” star for income reportedly stemming from 2014 and 2015.

The lien comes months after Nas paid off $3.5 million in back taxes to settle a debt for income he earned in 2006 to 2010.

The 43-year-old settled a tax debt stemming from 2007, 2008, and 2010 in December.

Nas was reportedly hit with his first tax lien in 2009 and by the following year his total tax debt stood at $6.46 million.

According to reports, Nas still owes officials in the state of Georgia $426,000 for income from 2007.

Gucci Mane & Keyshia Ka’oir’s Televised BET Wedding Will Reportedly Cost $1 Million

(AllHipHop News) It looks like Gucci Mane and Keyshia Ka’oir’s upcoming wedding will be a high-priced event.

TMZ reports Black Entertainment Television is putting up $1 million to pay for the nuptials.

Gucci and Keyshia will be part of a BET television docuseries leading up to the day they get married.

According to TMZ, Guwop will make $400,000 for the show and his fiancé will take home $250,000.

The as-of-yet-titled program will reportedly be 8 episodes and include footage of the bachelor/bachelorette parties.

Last November, Gucci Mane gave a highly publicized proposal to Keyshia Ka’oir at an Atlanta Hawks basketball game.

The couple is set to wed on October 17.

Donald Glover Explains Ending His Music Career As Childish Gambino

(AllHipHop News) Donald “Childish Gambino” Glover surprised his fans when he announced his plans to release only one more album.

Glover spoke with The Huffington Post this week, and the Georgia native explained why he is ready to move past his Childish Gambino alter ego.

“There’s nothing worst than like a third sequel, like a third movie and we’re like, ‘again?’” said the actor/rapper. “You know, I like it when something’s good and when it comes back there’s a reason to come back, there’s a reason to do that.”

According to Glover, his work on the award-winning FX series and his tendency to embrace counterculture played a part in his decision as well.

“Being punk just always felt really good to me and we always looked at Atlanta as a punk show and I feel like the direction I would go with Childish Gambino wouldn’t be punk anymore,” Glover stated. “As much as ‘Redbone’ is a punk song because it’s a gospel song that’s on the radio, I’m like there’s only so far you can go before you just are the radio.”

Besides Atlanta, Glover is also set to star in The Lion King remake and the Han Solo Star Wars prequel.

The multitalented entertainer will appear in Marvel’s Spider-Man: Homecoming and produce Marvel’s upcoming animated Deadpool TV series as well.

Childish Gambino currently has the #17 song in the country with “Redbone.”

His latest album “Awaken, My Love!” received positive reviews and became CG’s highest charting project (#5) by debuting with 101,000 first-week sales units.

A limited edition VR vinyl version of the LP was released in May.

Yasiin Bey (FKA Mos Def) Tapped For “Farewell Performance” At ONE Musicfest 2017

(AllHipHop News) Fans of Yasiin Bey (formerly known as Mos Def) may only get to see the Brooklyn emcee hit the stage one more time.

Organizers of the ONE Musicfest announced Bey will give his “farewell performance” at the Atlanta event on September 9.

Previously, Bey performed at The John F. Kennedy Center in Washington, DC as part of his final shows in America.

Every year ONE Musicfest presents both legendary entertainers and rising talent.

The 2016 edition included a Dungeon Family reunion as well as sets by Ice Cube, Erykah Badu, A$AP Ferg, Busta Rhymes, Anderson .Paak, and BJ The Chicago Kid.

Besides Yasiin Bey, the 8th annual extravaganza will also feature Jill Scott, Damian Marley, Too $hort, Jidenna, Sean Paul, Tank, and other acts.

“So many times you turn on the news, and Hip Hop is getting a bad rap. Alternate Ending Of ‘Juice’ Featuring Tupac Shakur Released

(AllHipHop News) The Hip Hop classic Juice is celebrating its 25th anniversary this year.

A special Blu-ray edition of the film starring Tupac Shakur was released this week, and the bonus content features an alternate ending for the motion picture.

The final scene with Pac’s character Roland Bishop was also uploaded online.

In the theatrical version, Bishop falls from a building after a rooftop fight with Quincy “Q” Powell (Omar Epps).

The alternate version includes Bishop choosing to die from the drop instead of facing prison like his father.

“He hears the cops coming and he stops struggling. He looks in Q’s eyes and says, ‘I’m not going to jail,'” recalled Juice director Ernest R. Dickerson. “And he let’s go. He’d rather die than go to jail.”

The filmmaker continued, “It was just an attitude that showed that Bishop wasn’t a punk, that he was a force that really had to be reckoned with in the right way.”

In another exclusive clip, Dickerson and Epps discussed working with Shakur on the movie.

The 25th-anniversary Juice Blu-ray/DVD is now available for purchase.

A Digital HD edition will be released on June 13.

Birdman Wants To Executive Produce 50 Cent’s Next Album (POLL)

(AllHipHop News) Do you want to hear what a 50 Cent album executive produced by Bryan “Birdman” Williams would sound like?

It could happen if Birdman gets his way.

The co-founder of Cash Money Records posted a message on Instagram about overseeing 50’s next LP.

“Told [50 Cent] I wanna executive produce his next album,” wrote Birdman. “It’s guaranteed platinum plus.”

50 Cent’s Get Rich or Die Tryin’ (6x), The Massacre (5x), and Curtis (1x) all each reached platinum status.

However, the G-Unit frontman’s last two albums – Before I Self Destruct and Animal Ambition – were not able to cross the million mark.

Bizzy Bone Accused Of Headbutting Ex-Fiancee

(AllHipHop News) Bone Thugs-N-Harmony star Bizzy Bone has been ordered to stay away from his former fiancee amid allegations of abuse and harassment.

Ranna Royce claims she was attacked by the rapper during a dispute at their New York home last September, when he reportedly “strangled” and “head butted” his bride-to-be, but she decided against calling the police out of fear of retaliation.

They split in October, but Royce alleges her ex began hounding her with threatening text messages over the weekend, and she subsequently reported the incident to police.

She has since obtained a temporary restraining order against the star, real name Bryon Anthony McCane II, banning him from going anywhere near Royce or contacting her by text or email.

However, a representative for the MC has dismissed Royce’s accusations, telling TMZ.com he has never physically abused or harassed her.

The rapper insists Royce is making up the claims because she is upset he has moved on following their failed relationship.

Vic Mensa Announces ‘The Manuscript’ EP (VIDEO)

The Roc Nation rapper announced the coming of The Manuscript on June 8.

A trailer for the EP hit the internet overnight, and social media posts from Mensa suggests a second part of the project will come at a later date.

Tracy Morgan Refuses To Talk About His $90 Million Settlement In Court

(AllHipHop News) Comedian Tracy Morgan is refusing to testify in an insurance dispute challenging the multimillion-dollar payout he received after a serious car accident.

In 2014, the “30 Rock” star was a passenger in a limousine struck by a truck owned by U.S. retailer Walmart.

Morgan’s friend the comedian Jimmy Mack died in the accident and the 48-year-old broke his legs and ribs and suffered a brain injury.

The funnyman and other survivors of the accident sued the company, and bosses agreed a mammoth settlement deal, reported to be worth $90 million to Morgan and fellow funnyman Ardie Fuqua, in May 2015.

Lawyers for Walmart’s insurer Ohio Casualty are suing the retailer to challenge the undisclosed payout, and want Morgan to testify under oath in a seven hour deposition to probe his post-settlement spending and answer their claims he exaggerated his injuries.

The comedian’s lawyer Benedict Morelli has said Morgan will refuse to appear unless ordered, and called the attempt to depose his client, “harassment.”

“Deposing Tracy Morgan will lead to nothing. We are opposing it,” Morelli told The New York Post. “The people I represented were all in comas for more than a week. They were devastatingly injured.”

He added, “It’s all about harassment. They’re making my clients victims again so that they could save their insurance company some money.”

Morgan, Fuqua, Mack and a friend were returning home from a stand-up comedy gig at a Delaware casino when the Walmart truck crashed into their vehicle while they were traveling on the New Jersey Turnpike.

The truck’s driver Kevin Roper had allegedly not slept for more than 24 hours before the accident and pleaded guilty to vehicular homicide and aggravated assault.

Morelli said the severe injuries had harmed Morgan’s career, as he struggled to remember his stand-up routines.

“When he does stand-up comedy now, he has a stool and he keeps sitting down because he can’t stand,” Morelli said. “He now needs notes when he does stand-up because he doesn’t have the same memory.”

He also denied his clients received $90 million in the settlement.

A judge will rule on whether Morgan must be deposed in Ohio Casualty’s New Jersey federal lawsuit on June 19.

Missy Elliott Looks To The Public For Back Up Dancers

(AllHipHop News) Missy Elliott has invited the public to audition to become one of her backing dancers.

The hip-hop star posted an advert on Twitter on Monday night (June 5), informing fans that open auditions for dancers would take place in Atlanta, Georgia on June 9.

The advert requested those who auditioned be skilled as “hip-hop & trickster” dancers, and asked them to “Do your research on Missy!”

Missy, real name Melissa Arnette Elliott has remained largely inactive as an artist for a decade due to a battle with the autoimmune disorder Graves’ disease.

After appearing at American football’s showpiece Super Bowl event with Katy Perry in 2015, she released a comeback single, “WTF (Where They From),” but is yet to put out a new album.

The 45-year-old musician’s next concert is at Los Angeles’ Exposition Park on 22 July (17), but she is yet to announce a full tour.

Young Thug Shows Love To This “Handsome” Cash Money Singer

(AllHipHop Rumors) Well, Young Thug certainly knows how to get folks talking man!

Thugger recently decided to show singer Jacquees some love under one of his photos as he commented referring to the singer as being “handsome.”

Folks lost it once again as they commented under reposts of the photo accusing Young Thug of being gay.

Die-hard Thug fans wanted his “haters” to relax as they defended him in the comments reminding folks that he has a whole girlfriend, and he likes to promote his new music by being controversial.

One person even tweeted,

“You know Thugger album otw , he doing gay sh-t on Insta again ??.”

So what are the rules? Are people tripping out because a man can’t/shouldn’t call another man handsome, or are they just bugging because this falls in line with Thugger’s other suspect antics? What are your thoughts?
