Director Jeymes Samuel’s The Harder They Fall film hit #1 on the U.S. streaming chart. The Netflix movie’s official soundtrack contains tracks by Kid Cudi, Jay-Z, Jadakiss, Conway the Machine, Lauryn Hill, CeeLo Green, and other acts.
Jay-Z’s Roc Nation label and Jeymes Samuel’s Geneva Club have now released the motion picture score for The Harder They Fall. Samuel was also the movie’s composer.

Taking to the witness stand in Atlanta, Georgia, the “Bodak Yellow” rapper told her legal team how the rumors spread byTasha K, impacted her mental health.
“I felt extremely suicidal,” the 29-year-old hitmaker said, reports Billboard.
The Grammy winner added that she felt “helpless” against the claims, as Kebe had nearly one million subscribers to her celebrity news-focused channel.

Letitia Wright has resumed filming “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever” after recovering from an on-set injury.
The actress, who is reprising the role of Shuri in the sequel, was hospitalized in August after an “incident with a stunt rig” while filming a sequence in Boston.
At the time, it was reported that she had “sustained minor injuries” and the accident would not affect the shooting schedule.
Representatives for Wright and Marvel’s parent company Disney confirmed on Friday that the 28-year-old star had recovered from the incident and was back on set.
Her spokesperson told BBC News, “Filming resumed this month as planned and we’re on schedule.”
In November, Marvel Studios executives Kevin Feige, Nate Moore, and Louis D’Esposito sent a note to the cast and crew of the sequel to explain the hiatus and reveal the extent of Wright’s injuries.
“What we had initially thought were minor injuries turned out to be much more serious with Letitia suffering a critical shoulder fracture and a concussion with severe side effects. It has been a painful process and Letitia has been home recovering with her doctors and the support of family,” they wrote in the note, obtained by Deadline.
“We also want to thank Letitia for everything she’s doing to get back to the set – we know how much she loves this role, how tough it’s been for her to be away, and how hard she’s working to recover as quickly as she safely can. We are eagerly awaiting her return and we know we will all come back stronger together.”
Shuri is believed to have a more prominent role in the sequel following the death of lead actor Chadwick Boseman, whose character has not been recast.

“One of the purposes of punishment is to rehabilitate a person,” he said. “You’ve shown, Ms. Robinson, your own rehabilitation — even before your punishment — by choosing a life of helping others and supporting your family and your children. And making yourself clean and strong to do those things is highly commendable.”

The Def Jam rapper announced a new LP called Vinyl Days on social media. Logic unveiled the album title alongside a video of him making a beat.
“I’m working on a new album called Vinyl Days,” he wrote.
In the clip, Logic noted he was making the beat with a microphone once owned by Jay-Z.

Rapper Fat Trel hopes a consortium of celebrity can help him get out of prison.
The rapper, who is presently incarcerated, requested that Donald J. Trump, Meek Mill, Kim Kardashian, and others like Jay Z‘s Reform Organization to help him in his plight.
The rapper wrote an open letter in an effort to highlight the issue he is facing and tagged the various celebs and some media outlets as well. Last month, he was arrested for Revocation of Suspended Sentence and Probation, which was connected to an arrest in 2018. He subsequently was sentenced to a year and a half year in prison. The D.C. rapper wrote about his battle, one that is reminiscenet of Meek Mill’s bout in Pennsylvania.
“It is with heaviness in my heart that I must inform my fans and supporters that the justice system has failed in being objective in my case,” he said in a social media post.
The rapper charges he spent three years in prison after being convicted of DWI and marijuana possession from 2016, and then he got probation. Last month, he had a probation hearing in Arlington County jail and was then sentenced to another year and a half incarceration by a judge.
Trel wrote, “3 years in federal prison was more than enough time for me to conform my mindset and the way I move. I’m being punished a second time around; without regard of the years I’ve already served.”
He also brought up that the laws around recreational marijuana have changed in Virginia since his origin case.

Media outlet OTFMZ posted a clip from a subsequent Twitter Space hosted by Ave Verb centered around Tsu Surf. He mentions a video he describes as “something about Surf getting down with transgenders.” He watched the video and was not surprised by its content, rather he questioned, “why is this not expected?” The implication being Tsu Surf is attracted to transgender women.

Aye Verb continues in the clip, “It’s just Surf following a c### show,” he said. He then said the battle rap community treats him differently to Surf. “If Verb was following this page, it would be TMZ,” he said. Furthermore, Verb says the reason for the disparity is that he doesn’t “get down.”
