DJ Khaled Shuts Down Thick Twerker On His IG Live

(AllHipHop News) Married DJ Khaled was left red-faced when he was ambushed by a scantily-clad fan who twerked on camera during an Instagram Live chat on Sunday.

The 44-year-old star was connecting with his fans via the social media site when a woman appeared on the screen wearing a string white bikini top and pink booty shorts.

“Oh s##t,” he declared, with his eyes widening, as the camera panned to the fan’s derriere.

The woman then said she needed water, as Khaled panicked: “No don’t do that, it’s all love. I got love and everything, you know what I’m saying, it’s all love, but I’ve got a family…”

Clearly unwilling to listen to his protestations, the woman then proceeded to pour water from a bottle onto her rear as she twerked into the camera, with Khaled hilariously covering his eyes as he attempted to shut down the chat.

“No, don’t do that – talk to me normal, talk to me normal,” he shouted, as the fan continued twerking.

“No, I can’t,” Khaled continued, before finally finding the button to eject the woman from the conversation.

The “Wild Thoughts” star, who shares two sons with wife Nicole Tuck, later shared the embarrassing moment on his Instagram page, writing alongside it: “I have love for everyone please take it easy when I’m on fan luv ig luv . Again I have love for everyone please lets be respectful nothing but love BLESS UP !”

50 Cent Talks Roger Stone, Trump, Coronavirus, Music & More On MSNBC

(AllHipHop News) Rapper and mogul, 50 Cent, is no stranger to MSNBC; having made several appearances as a special guest.

Over the weekend, correspondent, Ari Melber, called on 50 during a new interview.

The two jumped right into politics as Melber asked 50 about his thoughts on Trump pardoning Roger Stone.

“If that’s his peoples, he should look out for him. He would expect him to do it,” states 50. Melber also played a few clips of Jared Berstein, Joe Biden’s former chief economist, who cited the rapper in his jokes on economics. “Ari, he probably saw me for the first time on your show,” 50 laughingly responded.

Outside of politics and coronavirus talks, the two discussed 50’s rise to success – delving into the adversities he’s battled, coming out of poverty, and more.

And in his new book, “Hustle Harder, Hustle Smarter,” 50 opens up about learning the secret of silence, and his friendship with Deepak Chopra who he credits to giving him his mantra.

“Deepak gave me my mantra. The competitive side of me, that made me want to compete with someone when we’re not even in the same realm,” 50 Cent explained.

Megan Thee Stallion Talks Collaborating With Beyoncé For “Savage (Remix)”

(AllHipHop News) Megan Thee Stallion’s first entry on the Hot 100 – “Big Ole Freak” – landed on the Billboard chart in April 2019. A year later, the Houston Hot Girl has a record with global megastar Beyoncé.

The “Savage (Remix)” by Megan and Beyoncé touched down on April 29, 2020. The collaboration instantly became a top trending topic on Twitter and quickly rose to #1 on the US iTunes chart.

Apple Music host Ebro Darden spoke to Meg about her milestone moment with Queen Bey. Even though AllHipHop reported on April 16 that the remix was likely coming, The Stallion insisted no one knew about the blockbuster version of her Top 20 hit.

“Nobody knew I was working on the song, nobody knew we were working on the song. I didn’t tell my best friend. I didn’t tell nobody on my team. I didn’t tell anybody,” said Megan.

There was a lot of speculation that Megan Thee Stallion being under Jay-Z’s Roc Nation management played a role in Jay’s wife jumping on the “Savage (Remix).” The 25-year-old rapper went on to talk about how Beyoncé ended up on the new version.

“I got a call one day and they were like, ‘Yeah, Beyoncé’s gonna do a remix of “Savage.”‘ I was like, ‘Shut the f*ck up… Shut up’. I didn’t believe it. I was like, ‘Okay, whatever,'” recalled Megan. “I got the studio in the house. So I went in there and recorded a new verse. Then maybe the next week I heard the song, and I was like, ‘This is not Beyoncé!'”

The Suga EP creator added, “I talked to her after the song came out. She was just super supportive. Every time I see her she’s always like telling me, ‘Keep going, keep going hard, You really got it. Just do you.'”

Megan Thee Stallion was a very vocal supporter of Beyoncé before she ever met her at a New Year’s Eve Party earlier this year. In several interviews, Meg mentioned that the 24-time Grammy winner was her top choice to work with on music.

“She’s somebody that really inspired me too, so just to know that Beyoncé even has heard any of my music or just has watched me as an artist come up doing what I’m doing and that she’s rocking with me enough to even do a song with me, that’s really something that touched my heart because I looked up to Beyoncé since I was young,” said Megan. “It just seemed like a dream but in the back of my head I just always knew that at some point in my life I have to do a song with Beyonce. I never would have that it would be now.”

Drake Discusses Dropping ‘Dark Lane Demo Tapes’ During The COVID-19 Pandemic

(AllHipHop News) Drake’s Dark Lane Demo Tapes (230-255K) is currently in a tight race for #1 with Kenny Chesney’s Here And Now (220-235K). Drizzy dropped his commerical mixtape on May 1, and it quickly took over the streaming charts.

Dark Lane Demo Tapes arrived as many people around the world are still social distancing to prevent the spread of COVID-19. Drake spoke to his musical mentor, Lil Wayne, by phone for the most recent episode of Young Money Radio on Apple Music.

“It was just a lot of joints that sort of were floating around. Songs that people just kept asking me about or for,” said Drake about his new collection of tunes. “With the whole pandemic thing that’s going on, we’ve been playing more music on [Instagram] Live.”

He continued, “So, there were joints that got played on Live and then there were a couple leak situations that happened a little early in the year. For a second, the sh*t felt like ’09 or 2010 or some sh*t. I couldn’t believe how much music was leaking. Not just from me, from every artist.”

Drake released the Dark Lane Demo Tapes track “Toosie Slide” as a single in April. The song debuted at #1 on the Hot 100 chart. He also posted a music video for “When To Say When & Chicago Freestyle” in February. Some of the other records on the project found their way to the internet prior to an official release.

“We pieced a lot of those songs together. I put a few new joints on there, but really it was just instead of dropping a single right now… It’s an interesting time for us all as musicians to figure out how this works and what people need,” said Drake.

The OVO superstar added, “I just felt like people would appreciate maybe a body of something to listen to as opposed to just one isolated song. So yeah, I just tried to float that out there, set the tone for the album, and then, the album is being worked on every day. Like I always say, in every interview I do, I learn from the best, I’m in the gym seven days a week because of the man I’m on the phone with.”

Lil Nas X Promotes Being A Barb, Praises Nicki Minaj & Cardi B

(AllHipHop News) Last year, there were reports that Lil Nas X once ran the Nicki Minaj stan account @NasMaraj before becoming famous. LNX never confirmed whether he really was the teenage Barb behind the Twitter page and seemed to be apprehensive to discuss the topic.

Last night, the recording artist born Montero Lamar Hill may have finally acknowledged that he is a super-fan of Minaj. The “Old Town Road” hitmaker tweeted, “Life is too short to pretend you’re not a barb.”

One Twitter user then asked Lil Nas if he was shading Cardi B by mentioning Nicki’s fanbase. He responded, “They are both dope successful artists who still have so much potential. & I’m so thankful Cardi hopped on rodeo. Also I don’t shade ppl, only positivity here.”

Since LNX is known for trolling his followers, it is possible the Atlanta native’s “barb” tweet was just him joking about his supposed past of being a Nicki Minaj devotee. However, when asked what is a barb, Lil Nas wrote, “It’s hard to explain. It’s like a feeling and a state of being.”

YoungBoy Never Broke Again Scores Second No. 1 Album With ’38 Baby 2′

(AllHipHop News) YoungBoy Never Broke Again now has two #1 albums in his career. After AI YoungBoy 2 hit the top spot six months ago, 38 Baby 2 is the latest leader on the Billboard 200 chart.

The Louisiana rapper’s 38 Baby 2 earned 67,000 first-week units to take the pole position. NBA Youngboy collected 96.9 million on-demand streams for the project’s tracks. His Still Flexin, Still Steppin opened at #2 in March.

Elsewhere on this week’s Billboard 200, DaBaby’s Blame It On Baby (#2), Lil Uzi Vert’s Eternal Atake (#3), The Weeknd’s After Hours (#4), and Lil Baby’s My Turn (#5) round out the Top 5.

Two Texans returned to the Top 10. Travis Scott’s 2018 album, Astroworld, climbed 21 positions to #9. He recently made headlines for his record-breaking “Astronomical” Fortnite concert. Megan Thee Stallion’s Suga jumped from #21 to #10 after the release of the internet-breaking “Savage (Remix)” featuring Beyoncé.

Say Hello to 50 Pence!

(AllHipHop News) 50 Cent has been an inspiration to an Australian artist who has fused the rapper’s likeness with other notable figures.

For his latest masterpiece, he combined the physical attributes of Vice President, Mike Pence, with Fifty’s. The result?

Known as LUSHSUX on his verified Instagram page, the artist from Down Under has been dubbed the “world’s first and best meme artist,” for his unique take on portraying celebrities in, well, a new light.

“Fifty bout to 1776 my a##,” LUSH writes as a comment under his new painting of 50 Pence.

Recently, 50 Cent made comments on Pence’s refusal to wear a mask at Mayo Clinic, despite their required protocols.

The VP went on to say that he was tested so it didn’t make a difference that he didn’t have protective gear on.

“This fki##ng guy won’t stop, SMH. I guess I’m not wearing a mask because I’m tested frequently,” said 50 Cent.

As for LUSHSUX, it wasn’t the first time he’s used 50 as a subject in his creative endeavors.

In the past, he’s turned 50 into Donald Trump, and Taylor Swift – which had the rapper in his bag: “Man, look at this s##t. TF is wrong with this guy. He won’t stop. Swifty cent, I’d like to hit this MF right in the back of his head while he doing this s##t.”

Did Kodak Black Get Beat Up By Jail Guards?

(AllHipHop Rumors) Kodak Black is one of the most confounding characters ever in the Hip-Hop game. Looks like he is having more difficult times in jail. This time, they are alleging that the rapper was beaten down by a gang of six thugs aka prison guards.

According to a report by The Shaderoom, the officer plucked his genitals and said: “You’re not so gangster now, you’re going to need a bigger set.” That is some sadistic mess! They also said that Kodak is unable to reveal what happened, because he has no phone privileges. All of this is heresy and based on the “testimony” of inmates.

I am not the biggest fan of Kodak, but he doesn’t deserve this, that I know of.

Here are some of the screengrabs.

EXCLUSIVE: Lizzo Fights To Keep “Truth Hurts” Royalties From “Healthy” Songwriters

(AllHipHop News) Rapper Lizzo is fighting hard to defend her reputation – and her pockets – from a pair of songwriters who claim she stole portions of her biggest hit.

Lizzo is asking a judge to toss several key claims made by songwriters Justin and Jeremiah Raisen, who think Lizzo owes them a cut of her hit single “Truth Hurts.”

Lizzo and producer Saint John collaborated with the Raisens for a recording session in April of 2017, which resulted in the creation of a demo track called “Healthy.”

Lizzo sued the brothers in October of 2019, after they started complaining that they were due some loot since “Healthy” includes the memorable phrase “I just took a DNA test, turns out I’m 100 percent that b##ch,” which also ended up in “Truth Hurts.”

The brothers claim “Truth Hurts” is a “derivative” of “Healthy” and therefore, they feel they are owed a bag of cash.

On Friday (May 1st) Lizzo’s powerful lawyer Cynthia Arato filed a motion to dismiss the Raisens’ request for a declaration of co-ownership in “Truth Hurts” and their request for a cut of the royalties from the smash hit.

“‘Healthy’ is about how being sexy is what is healthy and that being sexy sets you free, and ‘Truth Hurts’ is about womanhood, self-worth, and female power after a break up with an unworthy man,” Lizzo’s lawyer Cynthia Arato argued. “Given these wholesale thematic and lyrical differences, Defendants cannot plausibly contend that ‘Truth Hurts’ is merely the ‘finished product’ of ‘Healthy.'”

As for the Raisens, they claim Lizzo already admitted “Truth Hurts” came from “a whole otha song we wrote” in a tweet thanking songwriter Jesse Saint John back in September of 2017.

“Defendants also make much of the fact that Lizzo gave Jesse Saint John, another songwriter who participated in the first ‘Healthy’ session, a share of ‘Truth Hurts,'” her lawyer Cynthia Arato wrote. “But Lizzo is free to gratuitously share her ownership of ‘Truth Hurts’ with whomever he wishes and for any reason at all.”

However, the brothers have produced a musicologist, who thinks both songs are very similar in structure, especially when the infamous “DNA test” line in question in included.

“Lizzo does not dispute that she sang the 15 word DNA Test Line in ‘Truth Hurts’ to the same DNA Test Melody (which she created) that she also sang in ‘Healthy,'” Cynthia Arato clarified. “But neither that similarity nor the other purported similarities that Defendants strain to identify come anywhere close to establishing that ‘Truth Hurts’ is merely the “final product” of ‘Healthy.'”

A judge has yet to rule.

Strippers Back To Work In Houston After Club Onyx Wins A Restraining Order Against The City

(AllHipHop News) Club Onyx in Houston won a temporary restraining order against the city after the popular venue was shut down over the weekend, despite Governor Greg Abbott’s “Phase 1” plan, which initially allowed certain businesses to be open.

Included in Governor Abbott’s order were restaurants, and since Onyx operated as both a strip club and a restaurant, club owners assumed the coast was clear.

With unclear guidelines in Governor Abbott’s plan, the mayor of Houston, Mayor Sylvester Turner asked the state for clarification.

On early Friday morning, Club Onyx decided to open its doors at midnight. as a restaurant “with entertainment” with strippers providing entertainment, while socially distancing themselves from patrons.

Later on, the Houston Police Department shut the venue down after scrambling for hours, deciding on what to do with the club, resulting in the owners filing a lawsuit against the city of Houston.

A judge approved a restraining order against the city, and ruled that the cops cannot arrest any strippers, or patrons, or even set foot on the property for more than 30 minutes, unless a crime has been committed.

Karrueche’s Ex-Manager Claps Back With A Federal Lawsuit

(AllHipHop News) Back in February, Karrueche Tran sued her former manager, Yaquwb Muhammad (aka Jacob York) for over $1.4 million in business proceeds that were allegedly owed to her.

Now York has filed a countersuit saying he invested “millions” in Karrueche, from launching, promoting, and marketing her career.

Some of the expenses that are a part of his suit include acting lessons and making sure her “lavish lifestyle” was fully funded.

In his defense, York says Karrueche wouldn’t be where she is today if he didn’t help “build” her career.

When Karrueche initially sued York, she claimed that he was guaranteed a 20% commission.

Additionally, after reviewing her own finances, she discovered that she was not paid the $267,000 owed to her, by York, for booked gigs.

She also accused him of scamming her out of $1.4 million that she earned from her ColourPop Cosmetics collaboration.

Out of that deal, Karrueche was only paid $276,000, despite the line generating well over that amount.

To cover up their tracks, York and his company, Electric Republic, allegedly told her that the collaboration was generating low royalty payments because it wasn’t as successful as they had anticipated.

Which, of course, was false. According to ColourPop, it was one of their “most successful cosmetic lines to date.”

We all know there are two sides of a story. As this case continues to unfold, the true story will eventually come out. Stay tuned in.

With every track surpassing one million streams in the first day, Dark Lane Demo Tapes has also secured the Top 14 positions on Apple Music’s chart, with “Pain 1993” featuring Playboi Carti taking #1 with 3 million streams.

Russian Teen Tats His Face Up To Look Like Tekashi 6ix9ine

(AllHipHop News) In this episode of what crazy wippo do to be like dumb rappers, 17-year-old Russian stan, Vladimir Roslyakov tatted up his face so that he can look like Brooklyn rapper and felon Tekashi 6ix9ine.

While not exactly a picture-perfect replica of the tattle-tale rap star, Roslyakov has easily 85% of his face inked with words, crosses, cobwebs, fake blood, and devil’s horns.

He too has some kind of number on his forehead.

https://www.instagram.com/p/B_ASwWtn9oj

At first glance, you wonder why this kid on the other side of the world would imitate the unicorn-colored media darling.

But then, when you find out that his mother paid for them all, you shift your inquiry to “What is wrong with Mom Dukes?”

https://www.instagram.com/p/B9v0OUmn9-b

Roslyakov, says that his mother paid for the tattoos because she knew he was set on getting them anyway (assuming she simply wanted to offer some quality control with the tattoo artists).

“She pays for them because she knows that I’ll do it anyway so it’s better for me that I have them done in a tattoo salon rather than God knows where,” he told The Sun.

He dedicated a rose to his grandmother.

Like 6ix9ine, Roslyakov is a rapper. His album will drop this summer.

Lil Wayne’s Sports Agency Signs Isaac Okoro

(AllHipHop News) From college basketball to the pros.

That’s what Auburn’s freshman phenom Isaac Okoro is looking to accomplish after declaring his eligibility for the NBA Draft.

And what better way to take his athletic career to the next level than to sign with Lil Wayne’s, Young Money APAA Sports agency (established in 2016) in an official announcement made last night (May 1, 2020).

Okoro, who averaged 12.9 points, 4.4 rebounds, and 2 assists per game in his most recent season, was named to the SEC All-Defense, All-Freshman and second-team All-SEC teams.

It’s no wonder he caught the attention and interest of sports agents.

Even with his signed commitment to the agency, Okoro is still an active NCAA college athlete.

Due to a new rule, he has not been able to forfeit his eligibility.

Having already entered the Draft, the freshman hopeful has until June 3rd to change his mind. In doing so, he would retain his eligibility to continue playing at the college level.

Prior to signing Okoro, Young Money APAA Sports inked a partnership deal with LifeStyle Sports Agency, owned by Omar Cooper.

Interestingly enough, Cooper is the father of Auburn’s point guard, Sharife Cooper, who is no stranger to Okoro.

Prior to college, the two played together at McEachern High School in Powder Springs, GA. They were also teammates in Nike’s EYBL circuit.

Drake Opens Up About His Son On Young Money Radio

(AllHipHop News) Drake recently joined Lil Wayne on a new episode of Young Money Radio.

In addition to discussing his newly released, “Dark Lane Demo Tapes,” things got intimate during the interview, as Drake revealed what fatherhood has been like for him.

Last month, Drake finally posted the first photos of his son, Adonis and the rapper touched on his son during his talk with Lil Wayne.

“I posted those pictures. It was great, for me. It was great to just share with the world,” Drake explained. “This is just something that I want to do. I want to be able to go places with my son and share memories. I don’t want to feel like just because of my celebrity, I got to make everybody live under this blanket. So I just wanted to free myself of that.”

He also added, while directing his attention to Lil Wayne, “I’ve watched you be a functioning rap father for years, an incredible father. And that gave me a lot of confidence too.”

Drake continued to mention other Hip-Hop dads that he admired including 2 Chainz.

“He’s a great father. It’s really inspiring for me just to know that I can still keep pushing forward as a musician and be there for my son,” Drake reasoned.

Jimmy Henchman Loses Third Appeal Of Life Sentence For Murdering 50 Cent’s Friend

(AllHipHop News) Back in 2017, we reported on the overturned conviction of music artist manager and promoter, James “Jimmy Henchman” Rosemond.

He was convicted in the Fall of 2016 for his involvement in the murder of G-Unit associate, Lowell “Lodi Mack” Fletcher, who allegedly smacked Rosemond’s young son at the height of a feud between Game and G-Unit in 2007.

The Feds Rosemond of accused of hiring a group of men to kill Fletcher – who was shot in the Bronx in 2009.

Fast forward a few years later, Rosemond’s conviction was upheld this past Friday, May 1, 2020, by the 2nd US Circuit Court of Appeals.

The decision was finally made, despite his lawyer’s attempts at invalidating the stories of several witnesses.

Rosemond’s case was filled with many twists and turns.

Jimmy’s first trial over Lodi Mack’s murder ended in a hung jury. A second trial took place in 2015, which ended with his conviction and two life sentences.

A third trial last year took place in 2016, when after a judge improperly narrowed Jimmy’s defense team in questioning a key witness.

They say third’s time a charm, but not for Rosemond, who was convicted again and re-sentenced to life in prison.

Rosemond is already serving a life sentence for a drug and gun conviction as well.
