6ix9ine’s Cruel Joke About Demi Lovato’s Overdose Sparks Backlash

6ix9ine stirred intense backlash after mocking Demi Lovato and her battle with addiction during a podcast appearance where he suggested sending her drugs to trigger a relapse.

During an episode of Andie Elle’s podcast, the polarizing rapper veered into controversial territory when the conversation shifted to former child stars and addiction.

After the host mentioned being sober, 6ix9ine responded by invoking Lovato’s near-fatal overdose in 2018.

“She’s gonna relapse,” he said. “Let’s send her a gift. Let’s send her some…” The final word was censored, but context made it clear he was referring to narcotics. He added, “Make her relapse.”

The remarks were met with immediate outrage across social media, with critics calling them cruel and dangerous.

Many pointed to Lovato’s 2018 overdose, which led to three strokes, a heart attack and lasting brain damage.

The singer has since spoken openly about her recovery, including her use of Vivitrol injections and complete abstinence from substances.

Lovato’s transparency has made her a vocal advocate for mental health and substance abuse awareness. Her supporters rallied behind her, condemning 6ix9ine’s comments as reckless and deeply offensive.

When questioned about the uproar, 6ix9ine defended his remarks in a statement to TMZ, saying, “Dark humor is going extinct,” and added, “People in this new generation are just overly sensitive.”

His attempt to brush off the criticism only intensified the backlash. Many argued that joking about addiction—especially involving someone who nearly died—is not comedy but cruelty.

The moment adds to 6ix9ine’s long list of controversies, which include legal issues and inflammatory public behavior.

Questlove Teases Unreleased D’Angelo Music: “You’ll See Soon”

Questlove teased the existence of unreleased music from the late D’Angelo while honoring funk icon Sly Stone at the 2025 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony over the weekend.

The Roots drummer and Oscar-winning filmmaker revealed the news during an interview with entertainment reporter Courtney Tezeno, following his tribute performance for Sly and the Family Stone.

When asked about unreleased tracks from D’Angelo, he responded with a knowing smile and said, “You’ll see soon.”

He added, “It’s always the sound of yesterday, but for the future. This record is no different.”

D’Angelo, who passed away in October 2025 after a battle with pancreatic cancer, left behind a legacy that reshaped modern R&B.

Albums like Voodoo and Black Messiah cemented his influence on neo-soul and Hip-Hop, and his death left a void in the music world.

Questlove featured D’Angelo in his latest documentary, Sly Lives, which explores the rise, fall and influence of Sly Stone.

The film follows Questlove’s acclaimed Summer of Soul and continues his deep dive into the lives of music legends.

The tribute concert brought together a powerhouse lineup including Stevie Wonder, Maxwell, Beck and Flea from Red Hot Chili Peppers. Together, they performed a medley of Sly and the Family Stone classics in celebration of the group’s Hall of Fame induction.

D’Angelo’s last album, Black Messiah, dropped in 2014. With Questlove’s remarks, there’s renewed hope that more of the Virginia-born artist’s work may soon emerge.

Diddy Gets Top Prison Job & Rehab Placement, Faces Discipline For Call Violation

Sean “Diddy” Combs reportedly landed a coveted job and enrolled in an intensive rehab program at Fort Dix federal prison, but still ran into trouble after violating phone rules just days into his sentence.

The embattled Hip-Hop mogul is now working as a chaplain’s assistant at the New Jersey facility, one of the most desirable inmate positions available, according to CBS News.

The role gives him access to a climate-controlled chapel library and a private office, along with the rare privilege of sharing food brought in for religious services.

His publicist, Juda Engelmayer, described the environment as “warm, respectful, and rewarding.”

The position also includes administrative duties like maintaining records, cleaning offices, and managing call-out lists that determine which inmates can leave their units for appointments or programs. That task alone can offer influence within the prison population.

View this post on Instagram

A post shared by AllHipHop (@allhiphopcom)

At the same time, Diddy is participating in the Residential Drug Abuse Program (RDAP), the Bureau of Prisons’ most rigorous substance abuse treatment.

Entry into the program is selective and often delayed, but successful completion can shave up to a year off an inmate’s sentence.

“Mr. Combs is an active participant in the Residential Drug Abuse Program (RDAP) and has taken his rehabilitation process seriously from the start,” Engelmayer said. “He is fully engaged in his work, focused on growth, and committed to positive change.”

Diddy’s legal team previously cited drug use as a major factor in his controversial behavior, including what they referred to as “freak-offs.”

In a letter to Judge Arun Subramanian, he wrote that he was “now sober for the first time in 25 years” and committed to confronting his “drug abuse and anger issues.”

“Prison will change you or kill you — I choose to live,” he wrote in his sentencing memo.

Diddy Allegedly Violated Prison Phone Rules

But the mogul’s transition hasn’t been without missteps. On November 3, just four days after arriving at Fort Dix, Diddy reportedly violated prison rules by participating in a three-way phone call — a breach of federal policy that restricts inmates to single-party calls with approved contacts only.

According to the publication, Diddy called a woman and asked to speak with “the digital person” about blogs. She asked if she should add the person to the call, and he said yes.

The conversation initially focused on visitation plans, including a suggestion to bring “200 singles,” though the reason for the cash remains unclear. Federal prisons prohibit paper money, allowing only coins for vending machines.

The woman then added an unidentified man to the call, bypassing standard security protocols.

Diddy later explained that the third person was part of his legal team and was helping draft a statement for approval by The New York Times. He denied discussing blogs.

Multi-party calls are banned due to concerns they could be used to coordinate illegal activity, including smuggling, gang operations, or witness tampering.

Diddy claimed he was unaware of the rule, saying he never received the orientation handbook upon arrival.

Prison officials recommended a 90-day suspension of his phone and commissary privileges. The disciplinary action was filed on November 4, his 56th birthday.

Engelmayer defended the incident, saying, “It was a procedural call initiated by one of his attorneys and was protected under the attorney-client privilege. There was nothing improper.”

His legal team had previously requested placement that would support his rehabilitation and allow for more family visits — goals that appear partially met through his current assignments.

Rumors that Diddy was drinking inside the prison have circulated, but his representatives denied those claims.

50 Cent Fires Back After Vivica A. Fox Warns Women Not To Date Him

50 Cent responded to Vivica A. Fox with a playful jab after the actress told a crowd she regretted dating him and warned others not to follow in her footsteps.

The G-Unit mogul posted an AI-generated image of himself holding a red and blue pill on Monday night (November 10).

“Either way I’m a have that ass in the matrix,” he captioned the post. ‘You know I love me some you girl, but Damn it’s been 22 years Vivica.”

A post shared by 50 Cent (@50cent)

His post came just days after Fox opened up during a keynote speech at the New Jersey Ultimate Women’s Expo, where she reflected on their brief but headline-grabbing relationship from 2003.

When asked what advice she would give her 17-year-old self, the 61-year-old actress didn’t hesitate.

“Don’t date 50 Cent,” she said, drawing laughter from the audience. “Don’t date no damn rappers.”

But the moment turned serious as she revealed the emotional toll the relationship took on her. “Just so you know, it took me years to be able to laugh about it,” Fox said. “I had to learn to laugh not to cry no more. But I did it.”

Their romance began after 50 Cent publicly flirted with her at the 2003 BET Awards. The relationship lasted about eight months but has managed to stay in the public conversation for over two decades, often reigniting through interviews, social media posts or throwback clips.

In a 2024 interview, Fox described the “In Da Club” rapper as “the love of my life” and said he would “always have a very special place in my heart.” Her latest remarks, however, suggest a more complicated view of their history.

Their public exchanges have ranged from playful to petty, including disputes over TV ratings and Instagram posts.

Earlier this year, 50 Cent shared a clip from their 2003 BET Awards moment.

“I look back at some of the s### that I did,’ he wrote. “I gotta learn to shut the f### up. Look at that look at end that’s trouble. WTF.”

‘They just didn’t want to’: South Carolina Publix deli runs out of banana peppers for customer’s sub. Is the policy to take some from the aisle?

After learning her local Publix deli was out of banana peppers for her sub, a South Carolina woman questions why the staff couldn’t simply walk over to the aisle and grab a replacement. Apparently, she’s not the only one with this question.

TikTok user Galina Mamontova (@galinamamontova) posted the video with her Publix deli question on Sep. 24. She starts the video with a simple question. “Can someone at Publix please tell me how y’all run out of things at the deli?” she asks.

Mamontova explained that she just went to Publix for a sub and asked the deli worker to add banana peppers to it. “She was like, ‘We’re out of banana peppers.’ I was like, ‘OK, no problem, I’ll just get jalapenos,’” she says. “But I thought about it and I was like, ‘I really want banana peppers.’”

She decided that she could just go to the banana pepper aisle on her way out of the store and add them to her sub at home. But then it occurred to her that the deli workers at Publix could easily do the same thing. “How am I willing to just go to the aisle, get banana peppers, and call it a day, but how are they not able to?” she asks.

Viewers React to South Carolina Woman’s Publix Sub Question

In the comments, former and current Publix employees weighed in on the question. One segment of the commenters said that the deli worker or the manager can actually pull product off of the shelves to serve customers.

“I guarantee if you ask the store manager, they will grab a bottle of them off the shelf and take it to the deli,” wrote one person. “Signed, a former store manager.”

A second viewer agreed. “The deli manager should have already done that.”

However, another segment of the commenters said it’s not as easy as it might sound. “The deli has to order the toppings from the supplier,” one viewer wrote. “Once we run out of those, we’re out. If a customer wants them and we’re out, we can pull them from the shelf to meet your needs. The banana peppers that are on the shelf are not the same ones the deli gets in for subs. It’s just a different process and not as cut and dry as you would think.”

Can the Publix Deli Take Toppings from the Grocery Section?

While it’s not common or particularly cost effective, sometimes restaurateurs use grocery store ingredients to supplement their inventories. So it doesn’t appear government regulation would bar this activity.

Furthermore, according to the Publix deli page, customers can choose from the selection of meats and cheeses at the deli counter, and they can also even look around the store and pick other brands that they’d like to try. The deli worker will slice those up to create a customized sandwich.

Although the page doesn’t specifically mention banana peppers, it seems reasonable to assume that the policy extends to toppings. Either way, as Mamontova proved with her video, it never hurts to at least ask.

All Hip Hop contacted Mamontova via TikTok comment and direct message for comment.

Michael Jackson Biopic Trailer Surpasses Every Music Film In History

The first glimpse of Michael, the upcoming Michael Jackson biopic, has already rewritten the record books.

The trailer, which debuted last week, pulled in more than 116.2 million views worldwide in its first 24 hours, according to data from WaveMetrix. That figure not only makes it the most-watched music biopic trailer ever but also the most-viewed trailer in Lionsgate history.

The film stars Jaafar Jackson, the late pop icon’s nephew, in the lead role. Colman Domingo, fresh off an Oscar nomination, portrays the Jackson family patriarch, Joe Jackson.

Set to premiere on April 24, 2025, Michael aims to chronicle the highs and lows of the King of Pop’s life and career. The cast also includes Miles Teller as attorney John Branca, Kat Graham as Diana Ross, Nia Long as Katherine Jackson, Laura Harrier as Suzanne de Passe, Kendrick Sampson as Quincy Jones and Juliano Krue Valdi playing a young Michael.

Speculation about the film being split into two parts resurfaced this week, though no official confirmation has been made. During a quarterly earnings call, Lionsgate Motion Picture Group chair Adam Fogelson addressed the chatter.

“While we’re not yet ready to confirm plans for a second film, I can tell you that the creative team is hard at work making sure that we’re in a position to deliver more Michael soon after we release the first film,” Fogelson said.

The record-breaking trailer was released on November 8.

Tim Westwood Gets Bail On Serious Criminal Charges

Tim Westwood walked out of Westminster Magistrates’ Court a free man on Monday after securing bail on serious criminal charges that could derail the veteran DJ’s legacy forever.

The 68-year-old Hip-Hop pioneer faced his first court hearing since prosecutors hit him with a devastating 15-count indictment last month. The charges paint a disturbing picture spanning over three decades of alleged misconduct.

Authorities accuse the former BBC Radio 1 host of four rape counts, nine indecent assault charges, and two sexual assault allegations. The timeline stretches from 1983 to 2016, with victims reportedly as young as 17 years old when the alleged incidents occurred.

Magistrates released him on conditional bail with one strict requirement: zero contact with prosecution witnesses.

Particularly damaging are three indecent assault charges allegedly happening inside BBC studios during the 1990s – right when Westwood was building his reputation as Britain’s Hip-Hop ambassador.

Seven women have come forward with allegations against the longtime radio personality. The charges detail a pattern of alleged abuse across London locations, including Fulham, Vauxhall, central London, Stroud, and Finchley.

Westwood’s legal troubles represent a dramatic fall for someone who championed Hip-Hop culture in the UK since the early 1990s. He joined Radio 1 in 1994, hosting his influential rap show until departing in 2013. Capital Xtra then became his broadcasting home until 2022.

The case now moves to Southwark Crown Court for a hearing on December 8, where Westwood is expected to enter formal pleas to all charges. He has consistently denied any wrongdoing since the allegations first surfaced.

EXCLUSIVE: Big U Fights To Get Out Of Jail To Attend Son’s Funeral

Big U is seeking a temporary release from federal custody to attend the funeral of his son Jabari “Baby Uiie” Henley, who was fatally shot in South Los Angeles on Halloween night.

Prosecutors must respond to the motion by November 14 if they have any objections to Big U attending the services, while a judge will make the final decision on November 17, 2025.

His 34-year-old son Jabari was gunned down around 11 P.M. on October 31 at the corner of 69th and Figueroa streets, just outside a smoke shop.

According to police, Jabari approached a vehicle when someone inside opened fire. He died at the scene. Authorities have not identified a suspect and no arrests have been made.

The Los Angeles County medical examiner ruled the death a homicide. Investigators have not confirmed whether the killing was gang-related.

Jabari was the older brother of Los Angeles Chargers linebacker Daiyan Henley.

“2025 has brought me more pain than joy and this one has been by far the biggest hit… my family gone stand through the storm because thats who we are I’m gone make sure we straight big bro!!!,” Daiyan Henley said. “I got nephew don’t even worry bout it Love you ALLAH BLESSED me with one more night with my big brother didn’t know you’d be gone the next day.”

View this post on Instagram

Big U is currently jailed on a sweeping federal indictment that accuses him of running a criminal organization dubbed the “Big U Enterprise.” The 43-count case includes charges of racketeering, murder, extortion, fraud and obstruction of justice.

Big U, who once ran a nonprofit called Developing Options aimed at steering youth away from gangs, is accused of misusing the organization’s funds for personal gain.

Federal prosecutors allege he and his associates used their influence in the music and entertainment industry to extort artists, athletes and celebrities who did business in Los Angeles.

The indictment also claims Big U killed aspiring rapper Rayshawn Williams in 20201, after Williams released a song that criticized him.

Authorities say the group submitted fraudulent applications for government grants and pandemic relief loans, including false claims about the profitability of Big U’s music company.

The case is part of a broader federal campaign to dismantle organized crime networks in Los Angeles. Big U has remained in custody since his arrest in March 2025.

Cancer Survivor Accuses B.o.B. Of Sexual Assault In San Diego Hotel Suite

Bobby Ray Simmons Jr., aka B.o.B., finds himself at the center of serious legal allegations after a Texas woman filed a lawsuit claiming the rapper sexually assaulted her following his April 2025 performance in San Diego.

The plaintiff, identified only as “Jane” in court documents due to her status as an alleged sexual assault victim, attended the Hip-Hop artist’s show at the California Beer Festival held at Del Mar Fairgrounds on April 26, 2025.

The married mother of two had traveled from Texas specifically to see the performer whose music she credits with helping her survive a cancer diagnosis.

According to legal filings obtained by CBS 8, the woman developed an emotional connection to the rapper’s lyrics during her 2016 cancer treatment. After being declared cancer-free, she planned a trip to visit her cousin in San Diego, timing it to coincide with the artist’s concert appearance.

The performance featured songs from the rapper’s acclaimed 2010 release The Adventures of Bobby Ray, tracks that held special significance for the plaintiff during her medical struggles. During the show, the artist unexpectedly brought her onstage to participate in a dance segment.

Following the performance, the lawsuit states that the rapper’s manager approached the woman with an invitation to an after-party at the performer’s downtown hotel suite.

Court documents reveal her thoughts at the time: “[Jane] viewed the unexpected invitation as a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to hang out with one of the biggest stars in Hip-Hop, whose music played a major role in keeping her emotionally healthy to continue her arduous struggle against cancer.”

The woman and her cousin arrived at the Westin Hotel in the Gaslamp District around 3 A.M., where they were escorted to the penthouse suite by the rapper’s manager. The lawsuit alleges that problems began when her cousin left the room to retrieve a jacket from their vehicle.

According to the complaint, once alone with the plaintiff, the performer began inappropriate physical contact.

The legal filing describes the alleged assault: “[Jane] was shocked as she didn’t think this could happen and didn’t know what to do. This was coming from the man whose music helped her through her most desperate time; the Hip-Hop artist whom she traveled from Texas to see; and now she is being sexually assaulted by the very same man.”

The lawsuit claims the rapper’s wife entered the room during the incident, prompting him to order her to leave.

Court documents state: “Mr. Simmons got up and walked to the doorway to ensure his wife had left the room and would no longer bother him or interrupt what he was planning to do. He quickly returned to his kneeling position before a seated [Jane], where he resumed rubbing her inner thighs and waist with the intent to sexually assault her.”

The alleged assault continued until the performer’s manager knocked on the door, providing the woman an opportunity to escape. She found her cousin in the hotel lobby, who informed her that security would not permit her return to the penthouse.

50 Cent Admits He Missed Signing Young Chris Brown Due To Inexperience Marketing Kids

50 Cent admitted he missed a major opportunity when a young Chris Brown auditioned for a G-Unit campaign, revealing he didn’t know how to market a teenage talent at the time.

On Monday morning (November 10), the rapper-turned-mogul shared a throwback clip from the “R&B Money” podcast, where Brown recounted his early brush with 50 Cent during what would become a pivotal moment in his career.

“It was for a G-Unit campaign,” Brown said, recalling a major booking that gave him his first real shot. “So I was like you know what, ’50 Cent he gone be able to see us. He’s going to be at the shoot, we can give him our demo, we can sing.’ You know, the typical like I want to get signed s###.”

That led to a backstage hangout with 50 Cent during the shoot, where the then-teenage performer tried to make an impression.

“We were bad little kids,” Brown said. “We already had weed and s###, so we was trying to smoke our weed on the side. They like, ‘Man what y’all doing?’ So we like ‘Nah, we rap and we sing. So we started performing and then they was like, ‘You know what man y’all n##### is dope.’”

Despite being impressed, one person on 50’s team made it clear they weren’t ready to handle young talent.

“But we don’t know how to f###### market no damn kids, we some gangsters,” Brown recalled being told. “So I was like, ‘Damn.’ Like I understood it.”

Reflecting on that moment, 50 Cent posted the clip to Instagram with a caption that hinted at a tinge of regret:

“I knew CB had it back then, I just didn’t know how to market kids,” he explained. “I went to award shows to see him get busy now he is the best we got. Like it or not !”

Cardi B’s Reportedly Building Girls School In Chicago-Here’s The Truth

Cardi B and Chicago?

A wild rumor has slowly, but surely spread across social media claiming the Bronx superstar was dropping a whopping $175 million to open a school for girls in Chicago. $175 million! For a second there, folks had Cardi looking like Mother Teresa, but…

…Hold your horses. It didn’t take long before reality came knocking – for me at least. While Cardi B is known for her generosity, from paying fans’ rent to speaking up for working-class women, this struck me as odd. This particular “philanthropic” move just didn’t feel right. Spoiler alert: the internet is at it again.

The rumor appears to have been born on Instagram and Facebook, those usual suspects where “fake news” becomes gospel in minutes. Zuck and Meta need to put up those disinformation safeguards again. Screenshots of imaginary press releases and AI-generated posts looked official, but there is not a shred of proof. Not even Cardi herself has said a single word about this supposed school. The only “official, unofficial” evidence is digital trash people keep reposting. Not once did they ask any questions!

Let’s keep it real: even Cardi’s millions can’t just manifest $175 million out of thin air. That’s billionaire-level money! I believe she is worth about $80 million…maybe $100 million. Cardi would need Oprah, Jay-Z and Jeff Bezos…oops, he does not do this sort of stuff. MacKenzie Scott, his ex-wife, does all that good stuff. By the way, Dr. Umar has been trying to build his own school for over a decade and still hasn’t hit that mark.

So here we are again — another case study in how fast social media can make nonsense sound like news. Too many people see a flashy headline, skip the fact-check and start reposting like they’re CNN. SMH!

This might actually light a fire under Cardi’s backside. She’s always been about uplifting women but let’s hope it’s in the Bronx, where it all began.

Until then, let’s stop making stuff up!

Here is the trash! Don’t share!

EXCLUSIVE: Cassie Accused Of Ducking Male Prostitute Suing Over Wild Freak Offs With Diddy

Cassie is being accused of avoiding a lawsuit from a man who claims she and Diddy hired him for sex parties during their relationship, according to a new court filing in Los Angeles.

Clayton Howard alleges Cassie Ventura has gone to “great lengths” to stay hidden and dodge service of legal documents tied to his civil suit. Howard says he has spent months trying to locate her, but claims she’s using her resources to remain out of reach.

Howard, who also identifies as a victim in the federal criminal case against Diddy, says Cassie’s legal team has blocked his efforts.

He accuses her attorney, Douglas Wigdor, of refusing to accept service despite speaking publicly on her behalf.

“Cassie Ventura has used substantial resources to conceal her whereabouts,” the filing states, adding that Wigdor “is not authorized” to receive legal papers for this case.

Howard says he hired a private investigator and multiple process servers who searched DMV records, property databases and visited several addresses in Connecticut. He also emailed Wigdor’s office three times but received no cooperation.

Now, Howard is asking the court to approve an alternative method of service. He argues that Cassie is playing a “cat-and-mouse game” to avoid being pulled into court proceedings.

As part of his motion, Howard submitted a list of media appearances and public statements made by Wigdor and his co-counsel Meredith Firetog since June 2025.

The exhibits show that the attorneys gave at least seven public statements or interviews on Cassie’s behalf, including to outlets such as ABC News, NBC, and E! News, following Diddy’s July 2 conviction and October 3 sentencing.

Howard argues that Wigdor’s continued media involvement proves he is Cassie’s representative and should be authorized to accept service.

The lawsuit, filed June 29, 2025, names both Diddy and Cassie and accuses them of orchestrating sex parties involving male prostitutes and other participants.

Howard claims he was coerced into these encounters and subjected to degrading acts, including being filmed while masturbating for hours at Cassie’s direction.

He also alleges that Cassie knowingly gave him a sexually transmitted disease and became pregnant by him before having an abortion without his knowledge.

Howard says Diddy was often present but acted more as an overseer than a direct participant. He describes Diddy as “jealous” and “controlling,” but says the music mogul typically stayed in the background during the encounters.

Despite being subpoenaed, Howard was not called to testify during Diddy’s criminal trial earlier this year.

Diddy was convicted on two counts of transporting individuals for prostitution and sentenced to 50 months in federal prison on October 3. He is currently serving time at the Federal Correctional Institution in Fort Dix, New Jersey.

Cassie previously settled a separate civil lawsuit against Diddy in 2023 for $20 million, as revealed during her testimony in May 2025.

Cassie also received a $10 million settlement from the InterContinental Hotel related to their cover-up of the infamous incident at the resort, where Diddy was caught on camera beating her up.

Howard explained how he was victimized during an interview with The Art of Dialogue.

“I was there for days. They would lie to me and tell me I was coming for 24 hours and they would basically keep me by keeping my phone in my clothes for days, not allowing me to leave. And then finding out that she slept with all of these men after having contracted chlamydia all of those years ago, I totally feel like I’m a victim.

“Because I would have never had unprotected sex with this girl if I realized that she was sleeping with half of the Lakers unprotected. I wouldn’t have did that. I’m not that type of guy. I had a girlfriend who will definitely testify to the fact that she never contracted an STD from me. I was always clean,” Howard said.

EXCLUSIVE: Milagro Gramz Fights Back, Says Megan Thee Stallion Has To Show Proof Of Damages

Milagro Gramz is pushing back against Megan Thee Stallion in their ongoing legal clash over defamation, telling a Miami federal judge that the rapper must prove both “actual malice” and quantifiable damage before any payout can be considered.

In a court filing submitted November 10, 2025, Gramz — legally known as Milagro Elizabeth Cooper — argued that Megan’s lawsuit doesn’t meet the legal threshold required under the First Amendment. The response counters Megan’s November 6 brief, which claimed she didn’t need to show financial loss to pursue a defamation per se claim.

Gramz’s attorney, Ronda Dixon, leaned on a landmark U.S. Supreme Court ruling to argue that public figures like Megan must meet a higher bar.

“A public figure may not recover for defamation unless she proves, by clear and convincing evidence, that the defendant published the challenged statement with knowledge that it was false or with reckless disregard for whether it was false or not,” the filing stated.

The defense also pointed to Florida law to argue that presumed damages don’t apply to “media defendants” when public interest is involved. According to Dixon, the legal protection extends to bloggers and digital commentators.

“Florida no longer recognizes presumed damages in defamation per se claims against media defendants, unless the plaintiff first proves actual malice,” she wrote.

Gramz’s legal team is positioning her as a member of the press, arguing that her commentary about Megan’s public behavior, particularly during the Tory Lanez trial, is part of protected speech. The defense claims Megan is trying to sidestep constitutional standards by labeling the statements as “defamation per se” to avoid proving harm.

Milagro Gramz’s team also asked the court to block any jury instructions that imply damages can be assumed. Instead, they argue Megan must show concrete evidence that her reputation suffered as a result of the statements.

The legal fight began in 2024 when Megan sued Gramz, accusing her of spreading false information about her character and the events surrounding the Tory Lanez shooting case.

Megan alleges that Gramz used her platform to circulate lies, while Gramz insists she was commenting on a high-profile trial involving a major Hip-Hop figure.

EXCLUSIVE: Katt Williams Beats $20M Case Over Wild Club Brawl With Women

Katt Williams scored a major courtroom victory after a federal judge dismissed a long-running $20 million civil lawsuit accusing him of attacking four women outside an Atlanta nightclub nearly a decade ago.

The decision closes a legal battle that began when the women accused the comedian of a violent confrontation outside the Midtown nightclub.

According to court records, the women, Selena Boston, Jalisa Rhodes, Lutisha Martinez, and Lanette Washington, sued Williams for assault, battery, false imprisonment, slander, and emotional distress stemming from a February 28, 2016, altercation outside Lounge 360 in Midtown Atlanta.

They claimed Williams became aggressive after posing for photos, tackling Boston, punching and kicking her while his associates assaulted the others, throwing their belongings into the street, and pointing a gun while flashing gang signs.

Last week, Judge William M. Ray II granted summary judgment in Williams’ favor, finding that the women failed to serve him before Georgia’s statute of limitations expired. The ruling ends the lawsuit before it could reach trial.

The case was dismissed after they failed to properly serve Williams but was refiled in February 2023.

The judge noted that the women only made one attempt to serve Williams, during a performance in Greenville, South Carolina and then waited months before requesting U.S. Marshals to intervene.

Even after the court granted that request, the plaintiffs didn’t send the Marshals until two days before the filing deadline expired. Williams wasn’t actually served until December 29, 2023, 22 days too late.

The court rejected their argument that Williams’ celebrity status and security detail made him difficult to reach.

While this week’s ruling clears Williams of civil liability, he already faced criminal consequences for the same incident.

According to WSB-TV, Williams accepted a plea agreement in 2018 that spared him from prison time. The deal required him to undergo mental health evaluations and participate in a pretrial intervention program instead of serving a sentence.

The women later told WSB-TV they felt ignored by the plea arrangement, saying they weren’t properly informed of the deal before it was finalized.

“We felt very ignored throughout this entire wait,” said Selena Boston. Lutisha Martinez added, “We cannot ignore that this man has traumatized not only us, several other people.”

50 Cent Exposes Airport Nightmare As Holiday Travelers Face Massive Delays

50 Cent found himself caught in the middle of America’s travel nightmare as the ongoing government shutdown continues to wreak havoc on airports nationwide.

The Hip-Hop mogul took to Instagram to document his frustrating experience and issue a stark warning to fellow travelers. The “In Da Club” rapper was aboard his private aircraft when he learned that even luxury travel couldn’t escape the chaos.

In one Instagram video, Jackson stated, “They just said that they not even letting the jets go.” The entrepreneur described the situation as a “bad travel day” while capturing the reality of grounded flights across the country.

In another post, he wrote, “Man the airport is f##### up, forget about traveling right now! Unless you driving…”

The footage showed masses of stranded passengers waiting in airport terminals as delays and cancellations mounted throughout the weekend.

The travel disruption stems from the record-breaking government shutdown, now in its 40th day, which has left approximately 13,000 air traffic controllers working without pay.

The Federal Aviation Administration announced flight capacity reductions of up to 10% at 40 of the nation’s busiest airports, with cancellations potentially escalating to 20% if the shutdown continues. Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy warned that the situation could severely impact Thanksgiving travel plans.

“Many of them are not going to be able to get on an airplane, because there are not going to be that many flights that fly if this thing doesn’t open back up,” Duffy cautioned during a CNN appearance.

The travel industry has already suffered massive financial losses, with the U.S. Travel Association reporting over $5.4 billion in damages as of November 8. The organization warned that continued shutdown effects during the holiday season would be “economically devastating to communities in every state.”

Air traffic controller absences have reached alarming levels, with FAA Administrator Bryan Bedford reporting that 20% to 40% of controllers are absent from work on any given day.

This has resulted in additional flight delays at major hubs, including Atlanta, San Francisco, Houston, Phoenix, Washington, D.C., and Newark.

Major airlines have implemented significant flight reductions in response to the crisis. American Airlines canceled approximately 220 flights daily, while United Airlines cut 168 flights and Southwest reduced nearly 100 flights.

More than 1,000 flights within, into, or out of the United States were canceled by Saturday afternoon, according to FlightAware tracking data.

The timing couldn’t be worse for holiday travelers, as Thanksgiving traditionally represents the busiest travel period of the year.

Airlines have begun offering fee waivers for passengers wanting to change their travel dates, while federal regulations entitle travelers to full refunds for canceled or significantly delayed flights.

Donald Trump Booed Loudly During Historic NFL Appearance At Commanders Game

Donald Trump drew loud boos and jeers Sunday night (November 9) at FedEx Field as he became the first sitting president in 47 years to attend a regular-season NFL game, only to be met with a wave of disapproval from the Washington Commanders crowd.

The backlash erupted during the second quarter of the Commanders’ matchup against the Detroit Lions when Trump’s image flashed across the stadium’s jumbo screen.

Standing in a private suite alongside House Speaker Mike Johnson and Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth, Trump was met with a chorus of boos that only grew louder when the stadium announcer formally introduced him at halftime.

Even a military enlistment ceremony didn’t soften the crowd’s reaction. As Trump administered the oath to new service members, sections of the 67,000-person audience continued to voice their discontent.

Trump’s appearance marked a rare moment in presidential sports history. The last time a sitting president attended a regular-season NFL game was Jimmy Carter in 1978. Before that, it was Richard Nixon in 1969.

During the third quarter, Trump joined Fox Sports broadcasters Kenny Albert and Jonathan Vilma for an eight-minute segment.

He reminisced about his high school football days at New York Military Academy. “I played tight end, but it was not quite football like this. It was a little bit easier. It wasn’t so tough,” he said.

Trump’s relationship with the NFL has been tense since his first term, when he repeatedly criticized players kneeling during the national anthem to protest racial and social injustice.

The movement, started by former 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick in 2016, drew sharp rebukes from Trump, who called on team owners to fire those who protested.

The timing of Trump’s visit came as lawmakers in Washington scrambled to resolve a government shutdown. The Senate later advanced legislation to end the shutdown.

He left the game before the final whistle, with the Lions defeating the Commanders 44-22.

Meanwhile, Trump has shown interest in having the Commanders’ proposed $4 billion stadium project named after him.

The new venue is expected to be built at the former RFK Stadium site in Washington, D.C. During the broadcast, Trump said, “They’re going to build a beautiful stadium. That’s what I’m involved in, we’re getting all the approvals and everything else. And you have a wonderful owner, Josh (Harris) and his group. And you’re going to see some very good things.”
