Young Thug’s “UY Scuti” Project Reportedly Pushed Back After Features Leave

Young Thug might be finding himself on an island right now as whispers in the industry say his upcoming project UY Scuti is hitting some turbulence. Word is several artists who once called themselves friends are now backing away from jumping on the album.

Sources tell us the hesitation isn’t about the music but about the messy cloud hanging over Thug’s name. With leaked jail calls and endless chatter about whether he did or didn’t talk to authorities, the speculation alone is a lot for the “culture.”

While nobody has gone on record about refusing to collaborate, the silence is deafening. When a rapper as big as Thug is putting together a body of work and names start quietly disappearing, it raises eyebrows. Nobody has said outright why they don’t want to be part of the rollout, but you don’t need a magnifying glass to connect the dots. I certainly will not name names.

As for UY Scuti, sources describe it as being in a “weird place” of Thuggers career. What was supposed to be another big swing is now stalled in limbo, with uncertainty over how many high-profile voices will actually make the final cut. It is supposedly going to come out on September 26.

This situation highlights the cold reality of the Hip-Hop game. Loyalty tends to evaporate when street controversy looms. Whether Thug manages to rally support or ends up dropping a stripped-down project will say a lot about how much his industry ties can withstand the current storm.

What do you think? Who will stand by their man?

Cam’ron Roasts Damon Dash After REVOLT CEO Confirms He’s Lying About Chairman Role

Cam’ron wasted no time roasting Hip-Hop mogul Damon Dash after REVOLT CEO Detavio Samuels denied he was acting chairman as Dash had previously claimed.

In a statement written to the REVOLT team, obtained by The Shade Room, Samuels wrote, “Team, I know some of you might’ve caught Dame Dash’s interview on The Breakfast Club. To set the record straight: Dame Dash is a hip-hop pioneer with a proven track record as a creator.

“Yes, we’ve been in conversations about potential partnerships—things like licensing his shows and films to REVOLT. But there is no signed deal.”

He added, “He is not the chairman of our company. There is no acquisition path on the table. The quote from me in VIBE is completely fabricated. I never said any of that.”

The quote Samuels is referring to reads, “As the CEO of a media company dedicated to Hip Hop culture and the diverse creators and consumers who drive it, it made sense to do business with Dame.”

Cam’ron took the opportunity to hit below the belt with a joke about Dash’s teeth—or rather lack of.

“You can’t say he’s lying through his teeth, he ain’t got none,” he wrote in the Instagram comment section. “Lying thur ya gums his treacherous lol.”

Dash quickly refuted Samuels’ account and posted an Instagram post with his “receipts.” As he noted in the caption, “I hate to bring out receipts but @detavio give me a call, I never would’ve took the deal if there wasn’t a pathway to ownership.”

Dash included a text to Samuels in which he asks, “Also is there still a pathway to ownership,” and Samuels appeared to say “yes.”

Dash claimed he would serve as the network chairman of REVOLT TV for one month during an interview with The Breakfast Club on Tuesday (September 16). The 54-year-old Roc-A-Fella Records co-founder said. he was planning to hold the position for one month, during which REVOLT will simulcast 25 episodes of his podcast, Bosses Take Losses, and stream a large portion of his media catalog.

Dash co-founded Roc-A-Fella Records in 1994 alongside JAY-Z and Kareem “Biggs” Burke, helping to launch the careers of artists such as Freeway, Beanie Sigel, Memphis Bleek, Kanye West and Cam’ron.

REVOLT, meanwhile, was launched in 2013 by Diddy, who stepped down as chairman in November 2023 amid ongoing legal issues related to his RICO scandal. The network has since shifted to an employee-owned model.

Lyor Cohen Champions AI As Artists’ “Ally” As Google, Music Giants Battle Over Copyright Chaos

Lyor Cohen believes artificial intelligence could be the creative lifeline artists never knew they needed—even as the music industry sues AI companies for allegedly stealing copyrighted work.

The longtime music executive and current head of YouTube Music and Google Music shared his optimistic stance in a Billboard guest column, arguing that AI won’t erase artistry but instead elevate it.

“This thing isn’t here to replace artists. It’s here to help them soar to even higher levels of artistry,” Cohen wrote.

Cohen, who began his career at Rush Management and Def Jam in the 1980s, compared generative AI to earlier innovations like drum machines and samplers that once rattled the industry but eventually became essential to Hip-Hop.

“Think of gen AI as the ultimate creative partner,” he said. “An artist can now create a dozen versions of a record, find the perfect hook, or get the lyrics just right, all while keeping their hands on the wheel of their creative work.”

He pointed to artists already embracing AI tools. The Wu-Tang Clan utilized Google’s Veo to produce the video for “Mandingo,” while Teyana Taylor employed AI filmmaking software for her short film, “Escape Room.”

But Cohen’s enthusiasm arrives as major record labels take a sharply different stance.

In 2024, Universal Music Group, Sony Music and Warner Music Group filed lawsuits against AI startups Suno and Udio, accusing them of training their models on copyrighted songs without permission.

The suits, led by the Recording Industry Association of America, seek up to $150,000 per infringing work.

The labels claim these platforms copied decades of music to generate new tracks that mimic protected recordings. Suno reportedly has over 10 million users, and Udio’s AI-generated songs have gone viral on social media and streaming platforms.

Independent artists also joined the legal fight, filing class-action suits alleging that their work was used without their consent. One complaint stated that Suno and Udio “elected to simply steal the songs.”

Despite these legal battles, Cohen insists authenticity remains irreplaceable.

“While new technology has always brought about disruption, fans have a knack for connecting with authenticity,” he wrote. “AI isn’t going to be a replacement for that — artists must continue to bring their true selves to their work, otherwise, fans will see right through it.”

Still, the rise of AI-generated music is undeniable.

According to Deezer, as of September 2025, 28% of all daily uploads to its platform were fully AI-created. Yet these tracks account for just 0.5% of streams, with most plays flagged as bots.

His message comes as the courts weigh the future of copyright law and the role AI will play in shaping the next generation of music.

LimeWire Acquires Fyre Festival Minus Cheese Sandwiches

LimeWire has scooped up the infamous Fyre Festival brand in an eyebrow-raising deal that merges two of the internet’s most notorious names under one roof.

The acquisition, announced by LimeWire CEO Julian Zehetmayr, follows a heated eBay auction hosted by convicted fraudster and original Fyre Festival organizer Billy McFarland.

The sale included everything from trademarks and social media accounts to a Caribbean event site.

McFarland, who still owes $26 million in restitution, described the Fyre brand as an “attention engine” and said it could fuel everything from pop-ups to media ventures.

The auction, held on July 15, 2025, became eBay’s most-watched non-charity listing during its run.

Despite 174 bids from 42 participants, McFarland sold the brand at a final price of $245,300.

Zehetmayr said the company isn’t reviving the failed festival but plans to reinvent the brand with “real experiences, and without the cheese sandwiches.”

While the buyer’s identity remained secret at first, LimeWire revealed it had edged out competitors, including Maximum Effort, the creative agency co-founded by actor Ryan Reynolds.

Reynolds reacted to the loss with humor, saying he still plans to attend the first event but “will be bringing my own palette of water.”

The 2017 Fyre Festival collapsed dramatically, leaving ticket holders stranded in the Bahamas with inadequate infrastructure, poor food, and no performances.

The debacle inspired multiple documentaries and became a symbol of influencer excess and marketing gone wrong.

LimeWire, once a file-sharing giant that was shut down in 2010 after a legal fight with the Recording Industry Association of America, has been staging a comeback.

It relaunched in 2022 with a focus on decentralized content sharing and has attracted a new wave of users.

COO Marcus Feistl said LimeWire intends to flip the Fyre narrative. “We’re not here to repeat the mistakes — we’re here to own the meme and do it right,” he said.

“Fyre became a symbol of everything that can go wrong. Now it’s our chance to show what happens when you pair cultural relevance with real execution.”

A waitlist for updates on the reimagined Fyre brand is now open. The auction officially transferred ownership of the Fyre Festival brand on July 15, 2025.

Coroner Releases Shocking Update In Trey Reed Hanging Death

De’Martravion “Trey” Reed was found dead hanging from a tree near the pickleball courts at Delta State University early Monday morning (September 15), prompting immediate concern and online outcry.

Still, a preliminary ruling from the Bolivar County coroner says there’s no sign of physical assault.

The 21-year-old student from Grenada, Mississippi, was discovered around 7:30 A.M., and by 8 A.M., the coroner’s office had arrived and declared him dead at the scene.

In a statement released Tuesday, the office said, “Based on the preliminary examination, we can confirm that the deceased did not suffer any lacerations, contusions, compound fractures, broken bones, or injuries consistent with an assault. At this time, there is no evidence to suggest the individual was physically attacked before his death.”

The coroner’s findings come as the hashtag “Justice for Trey Reed” continues to trend on social media, with many calling for transparency and answers about how Reed died.

His body has been sent to the Mississippi State Crime Lab for a complete autopsy.

Delta State University President Daniel Ennis addressed the coroner’s statement and the ongoing investigation.

“Delta State University is aware of the statement released overnight by the Bolivar County Coroner’s Office,” Ennis said. “We continue to cooperate with law enforcement in their investigation. Our focus remains on supporting Trey’s family, friends, and the Delta State community as we continue to grieve this loss together.”

Reed’s mother told local media she last spoke with her son on Friday and said he was looking forward to his time at the university. She added that she still has many unanswered questions about what happened.

Classes were canceled on Monday across the Delta State campus, located in Cleveland, Mississippi, and counseling services were made available to students and staff.

University officials reiterated that there is no indication of foul play and no threat to campus safety.

Bolivar County Coroner Randolph “Rudy” Seals Jr. extended condolences to Reed’s family and urged the public to allow investigators time to determine the facts.

As of Tuesday, the investigation remains active while authorities await the autopsy results.

Man Who Ripped Off Beyoncé In Atlanta Busted By Cops

Beyoncé had her unreleased tracks and tour secrets swiped from a car in Atlanta and now a dude named Kelvin Evans is sitting in jail for it.

This all went down back in July, just two days before Queen Bey kicked off her “Cowboy Carter” tour stop in Atlanta.

Someone broke into a black Jeep Wagoneer parked at the Krog Street deck and stole two suitcases full of sensitive items—such as flash drives with unreleased music, laptops, show blueprints, setlists, designer shades, clothes, and a pair of AirPods Max.

Cops say Evans is the guy behind it all.

According to 11Alive, the break-in triggered a thorough investigation that ended with Evans getting busted and booked into Fulton County Jail.

Here’s how it played out: Investigators followed GPS pings from the stolen gear, which led them to two spots—Hank Aaron Drive and North Avenue in Hapeville.

Surveillance footage helped them ID the ride used in the heist. When cops pulled that car over, they popped the driver for a weed charge.

That driver told police that her uncle, Kelvin Evans, had borrowed the car. She also told them she saw four black suitcases in the back but “did not question it,” according to the warrant.

Surveillance footage from Hank Aaron Drive on the day of the theft showed someone wearing the same outfit as the guy caught on camera at Krog Street. Police say that guy was Evans.

Now, he’s facing charges for breaking into the car with the intention of stealing. The stolen material was a huge deal, especially since this was Bey’s significant return to touring and the “Cowboy Carter” era was still in full swing.

No word yet on whether the police have recovered everything or if more people are being picked up, but this was a serious breach for someone at Beyoncé’s level.

Nick Cannon Blames Emotional Wounds & Divorce For Having 12 Kids

Nick Cannon says unresolved pain—not impulse—was behind his decision to father 12 children across multiple relationships, opening up about his past choices during a revealing conversation on The Breakfast Club.

The 44-year-old media mogul and Wild ‘N Out creator reflected on how trauma and unchecked emotions shaped his approach to parenthood, admitting he once moved through life with little pause for reflection.

“It wasn’t like I was acting out,” Cannon said. “It was more of being careless, being frivolous with my process because I could do it, because I had the money (and) because I had the access to whoever and however I wanted to move.”

Cannon, who was previously married to pop icon Mariah Carey, said he didn’t set out to build a sprawling family.

“Then, obviously, life happens as well, so it wasn’t like, ‘Oh, I’m gonna go have 12 kids.’ It was more like, ‘Yo, I’m gonna just live life and have fun and whatever happens happens. I can handle it.'”

He shares twins Moroccan and Monroe with Carey; Golden, Rise and Powerful with Brittany Bell; twins Zion and Zillion and daughter Beautiful with Abby De La Rosa; son Legendary with Bre Tiesi; daughter Onyx with LaNisha Cole; and daughter Halo with Alyssa Scott.

Nick Cannon and Scott also had a son, Zen, who died from brain cancer at five months old in December 2021.

Looking back, Nick Cannon acknowledged that failing to process the emotional fallout from his divorce contributed to his choices.

“If I would have did the work and the healing after getting divorced, I probably would have took my time in a lot of other scenarios,” he said. “And for whatever reason, I thought that was the answer a lot of times, like, ‘Oh, I’m gonna figure it out over here.'”

He added, “Now, you’re leaving trauma every step of the way instead of fixing it from its origin.”

Cannon also admitted that the end of his marriage left him feeling defeated.

“I felt like a complete failure,” he said, though he maintained that separating from Carey was ultimately “the right decision.”

Cardi B Says Dropping “Am I The Drama?” Album Is Like Pushing Out New Baby

Cardi B is bringing the heat to the charts and the streets with her upcoming album Am I the Drama?, which features a stacked list of collaborators including Janet Jackson and Megan Thee Stallion, set to arrive this Friday.

The Bronx-born rapper announced the news on Monday, in partnership with Spotify, teasing the full lineup on social media.

“Who else is the drama?” she asked, posting the names of the featured artists, which also include Selena Gomez, Lizzo, Kehlani, Summer Walker, Cash Cobain, and Tyla.

The 23-track project includes previously released songs such as “Up,” “Outside,” and “Imaginary Playerz.” The inclusion of Megan Thee Stallion may hint at a reprise or nod to their viral hit “WAP,” which closes out the album.

Cardi has been actively promoting the album across New York City, popping up on subway trains and even hosting a bodega-style merch shop.

On Monday’s episode of The Jennifer Hudson Show, she opened up about the emotional weight of the project.

“I am so overwhelmed. It’s like I’m pushing another baby,” Cardi told Hudson. “It was completely completed and this is what’s missing out there. I touch on everything I wanted to touch.”

She also confirmed that a tour is in the works, saying she’ll be hitting the road “soon.”

Am I the Drama? drops Friday, adding another chapter to Cardi’s ever-evolving Hip-Hop legacy.

Diddy’s Twin Girls Take Fashion Week By Storm Ahead Of Mogul’s Sentencing

Jessie and D’Lila Combs made their official New York Fashion Week debut Tuesday (September 10) while their father, Sean “Diddy” Combs, remains in federal custody awaiting sentencing.

The 18-year-old twins appeared energized and focused as they prepared for their first professional runway show, telling TMZ they were “super excited” to be part of the Fashion Week scene.

“It’s been great,” they said, adding that the thrill of the experience outweighed any nerves.

The sisters are also building their own fashion line, 12TWINTY1, which they launched in July.

The brand name nods to their shared birthday—December 21—and their twin bond. “This isn’t just a brand. It’s our story. Our bond. Our roots,” they wrote in a launch statement. “@12twinty1 was created with purpose, built from who we are, not just what we wear.”

They continued, “The name reflects our birthday, December 21, but it means so much more: 1 is bold, fearless, and marks the beginning of something powerful. 2 speaks to love, connection, and harmony, the essence of our twin hood.”

The Combs twins have been receiving steady guidance from longtime family friend and fashion icon Kimora Lee Simmons, who has walked for top-tier designers and helped shape early-2000s fashion.

“We talk to her every day,” the twins said, adding that Simmons regularly advises them on style and the business of fashion.

Their debut comes as their father faces serious legal consequences. In July, Diddy was convicted on two federal counts of violating the Mann Act.

Despite the legal turmoil, the twins say their father is staying positive.

Donald Trump Gives Major Concession To China In TikTok Battle

President Trump confirmed progress on a high-stakes TikTok deal as Beijing made it clear the app’s U.S. version will still run on Chinese-developed algorithm technology, despite long-standing national security concerns.

The Chinese government’s public stance arrives just as U.S. and Chinese officials finalize a framework to avoid banning the popular video platform, which boasts 172 million American users.

The agreement would create a new U.S.-based company valued at up to $50 billion, giving American investors a majority stake, while ByteDance, TikTok’s parent company based in China, retains a 19.9% stake.

Security officials in Washington have long raised alarms about the app’s recommendation engine, warning it could be used to spread propaganda or collect sensitive data.

Despite those concerns, the deal is moving forward.

Former President Donald Trump, who delayed TikTok’s ban through executive orders, is set to speak with Chinese President Xi Jinping on Friday to finalize the arrangement.

“The big Trade Meeting in Europe between The United States of America, and China has gone VERY WELL!” Trump wrote on Truth Social. “A deal was also reached on a ‘certain’ company that young people in our Country very much wanted to save.”

The proposed structure would enable U.S. investors, such as billionaire Jeff Yass of Susquehanna International and Bill Ford of General Atlantic Partners, to take control of TikTok’s American operations.

Oracle co-founder Larry Ellison is expected to provide cloud infrastructure, while his son David Ellison—who recently acquired Paramount—may also take an ownership stake.

A key compromise in the deal would let the new U.S. company replicate TikTok’s algorithm rather than own it outright. Officials say this would create “essentially a US-created app,” distancing it from Chinese control while maintaining the platform’s core functionality.

TikTok has been under intense scrutiny for years.

Although the app is not available in mainland China, U.S. lawmakers have repeatedly raised concerns about data privacy and influence operations.

The Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States has investigated the company multiple times, and Congress passed bipartisan legislation mandating Chinese divestment.

The Supreme Court later upheld that law, paving the way for the current negotiations.

The extension that kept TikTok active in the U.S. was set to expire on Wednesday. Trump had reportedly considered letting the app shut down to gain leverage in broader trade talks, but the breakthrough deal appears to have prevented that outcome.

Cardi B’s Little Miss Drama Tour Set For 30 Cities In North America

Grammy-winning rapper Cardi B announced her first headlining arena tour in six years on Tuesday (September 16), coinciding with the release of her highly anticipated second studio album, Am I the Drama? set to drop Friday.

The “Little Miss Drama Tour” will kick off February 11, 2026, in Palm Desert, California, and conclude April 17 in Atlanta, spanning 30 cities across the United States and Canada.

The tour marks a significant milestone for the Bronx-born artist, representing her first major arena run since achieving mainstream success.

The _”_Little Miss Drama Tour” will be the Grammy winner’s first headlining arena run,” according to Live Nation, the tour’s promoter.

The announcement comes as Cardi B prepares to release her sophomore album, Am I the Drama?, her first since 2018’s Invasion of Privacy.

That debut album controversially won the Grammy for Best Rap Album in 2019, making Cardi B only the second female rapper to receive the honor, following Lauryn Hill with the Fugees in 1997.

The tour will feature stops at major venues including Madison Square Garden in New York, the United Center in Chicago and the Chase Center in San Francisco.

Notable dates include a March 25 performance at Madison Square Garden and shows in Toronto, Vancouver, and other major metropolitan areas.

Presale tickets will become available at 10 A.M. local time on Tuesday, September 23, for fans who register by 10 P.M. PT on Sunday through Ticketmaster.

General public sales begin at 10 A.M. Thursday, September 25, on Cardi B’s official website.

The tour announcement marks a return to major touring for Cardi B, who has primarily focused on single releases and collaborations since the success of her debut album.

Invasion of Privacy achieved both commercial and critical acclaim, becoming the most-streamed female rap album on Apple Music and Spotify.

The Grammy win for Invasion of Privacy sparked debate within the Hip-Hop community, with some critics questioning whether the album deserved the recognition over other nominees.

Cardi B defended her victory, stating she “cries when she listens to her album because of all the hard work” that went into its creation. Recent interviews reveal Cardi B’s strategic approach to her career, including her decision to turn down lucrative opportunities to focus on her artistry.

The rapper has been selective about her projects, prioritizing quality over quantity in her musical output.

The “Little Miss Drama Tour” will feature performances across diverse markets, from major metropolitan areas to mid-sized cities.

The tour includes stops in Portland, Sacramento, Austin, Minneapolis, Indianapolis, Detroit, Kansas City, Cincinnati, Hartford, Baltimore, Raleigh, Charlotte, and Sunrise, Florida.

Cardi B Says Divorce From Offset Left Her Too Depressed To Record Music

Cardi B broke down the emotional cost of her divorce from Offset during a raw conversation with Kelly Rowland, revealing how the pain left her unable to record music or even look at her children without crying.

The Grammy-winning rapper opened up during Spotify’s “Countdown To” series while promoting her upcoming album Am I the Drama?, due out Friday (September 19).

The 32-year-old said her mental health took a serious hit after her split from Offset, and it derailed her ability to work.

Cardi explained that she flew to Los Angeles to finish her album after dropping the single “Enough,” but the sessions were scrapped.

“I came to LA and I was supposed to finish my album after Enough,” she said. “I had two months, and we had to cancel everything because I was so depressed that I couldn’t record. We was out here for like two weeks, and I just couldn’t record. I barely recorded anything because I couldn’t even stop crying.”

The “WAP” rapper described how the grief consumed her every time she stepped into the studio.

“Every time I see a mic, I start crying. My feelings and my heart really cripple me.”

Cardi B Says Divorce Felt Like “Withdrawing From Love”

She also spoke about the emotional toll the breakup took on her sense of love and trust.

“I have been hurt and I’ve been disappointed and I’ve been disrespected,” she said. “I felt like I was withdrawing from love.”

The Bronx native said the depression seeped into her day-to-day life, especially when it came to her children — Kulture, Wave and Blossom.

“I can’t even look at my kids’ faces because I just want to cry when I see them,” she added.

Cardi and Offset married in 2017, but their relationship was riddled with cheating scandals, public fallouts and reconciliations.

She filed for divorce in July 2024, the second time she’s taken legal steps to end the marriage.

After the split, Cardi dropped “Outside” in 2025, a track that celebrated her independence and hinted at her new romance with Stefon Diggs.

The rapper and the NFL star were first seen together in October 2024 at a New York City nightclub. They later made their relationship public at a Knicks game in May, and Cardi confirmed it on Instagram the following month.

Damon Dash Threatens Legal Action After Heated Interview On “The Breakfast Club”

Damon Dash fired back at Charlamagne Tha God on Tuesday (September 16) after a tense appearance on “The Breakfast Club,” warning of legal consequences over what he called false claims made on air.

“Charlemagne, I would advise you not to make up phony sources without real names saying that anything I said was not true, or we will have a legal problem,” Dash wrote in an Instagram post following the interview. “Don’t try to compromise my reputation. I have proof to support everything I say that will stand up in any court.”

The sit-down spiraled quickly, with Dash confronting the hosts over past comments and demanding accountability.

“Let’s do some boundaries, right? Cuz everyone says I yell,” he said early in the conversation, setting the tone for what would become a combative exchange.

Tension escalated when Charlamagne brought up 50 Cent’s recent claim that he had secured the rights to the 2002 cult film Paid in Full.

Dash, who was a producer on the original movie, dismissed the claim outright.

“I talk a different language than most people. I’m a boss. So, number one, there is no rights to be bought. So, I knew he was trolling,” Dash said, before clarifying that no one currently holds the rights. “I told you he doesn’t have the rights. No one has the rights. Who you going to buy the rights from? I wasn’t planning on making Paid in Full about those people again. I was making my Paid in Full. And you don’t have to buy the rights. I was actually there. So, you know, 50 trolls.”

The conversation veered into personal territory when Dash questioned Cam’ron reaching out to his son amid their public feud, asking if that was appropriate behavior.

Things got even more tense when Dash accused Charlamagne of lacking a strong male identity.

“You’re not a proper representation of the masculine Black man,” Dash said, prompting more verbal sparring.

The interview drew heavy criticism online, with social media users calling Dash’s behavior erratic. Comments included, “Dame needs therapy,” and “All he does is talk in circles.”

Earlier this month, 50 Cent announced he had acquired the rights to Paid in Full and is developing a television series based on the film. Cam’ron, who played “Rico” in the original, is attached as an executive producer.

Cam’ron Boots Adrien Broner Off Podcast After Disrespecting Female Co-Hosts: “You Can’t Violate”

Cam’ron didn’t hesitate to pull the plug on Adrien Broner during Tuesday’s (September 16) episode of It Is What It Is after the boxer made a string of uncomfortable remarks toward co-hosts Treasure “Stat Baby” Wilson and Arabia Tillery.

The episode started off light, but things quickly went left when Broner turned his attention away from boxing and toward Stat Baby.

“You look so good in person,” he told her, adding that he was “mesmerised” by her.

While the hosts tried to laugh it off and steer the conversation back to the welterweight division, Broner doubled down, asking Stat Baby how much she weighed and blurting out, “I love you.”

Broner offered a quick apology, but the behavior didn’t stop.

He then shifted his focus to Tillery, joking, “If that’s Arabia, I’m Saudi.” The room chuckled, but the vibe was clearly off.

Moments later, Broner circled back to Stat Baby again, asking, “Can you stop smiling?”

That’s when Cam’ron stepped in. “On some G s###,” he said, “her boyfriend her.”

Broner apologized again, but when Cam’ron tried to bring the conversation back to sports, Broner interrupted.

“I can’t talk,” he said. “You told me to stop. My bad, bro. You’re amazing,” he added, once again addressing Stat Baby.

That was the final straw.

“All right. Hey, we going to have to ask you to go, my n####,” Cam’ron said, calmly but firmly. “I asked you the first time. I don’t have no problems with you, but I’mma pay you for your time. But you can’t violate, bro. I told you that. I told you n##### boyfriends is here.”

Cam’ron escorted Broner out of the studio, and later posted a clip of the exchange on Instagram, making it clear he wasn’t here for the nonsense. “SEE THIS JUST WHY WE DON’t JUST LET ANYBODY COME ON OUR SHOW,” he wrote. “THIS [ninja] #AB WAS OUTTA POCKET, SO #KILLA POLITELY TOLD THIS [ninja] TO EXIT THE BUILDING.”

Kanye West & Elon Musk Discuss Breakups With Kim Kardashian & Grimes In New Doc

Kanye West and Elon Musk traded personal war stories about their high-profile breakups in a tense scene from West’s upcoming documentary In Whose Name?, where the two men lounged on a bed and unpacked their messy pasts with Kim Kardashian and Grimes.

The clip, obtained by The Hollywood Reporter, captures an awkward exchange between the Kanye West artist and the Tesla CEO, as they reflect on their failed relationships and ongoing parenting struggles.

“So are you and Kim off and on or something?” Musk asked West. “Or, I don’t know. It’s hard to tell.”

West, 48, let out a nervous laugh, prompting Musk, 54, to open up about his own volatile situation with Grimes, born Claire Elise Boucher.

“Clare and I, Grimes, we’re sort of in the same text stream, she’s like, ‘I love you.’ And then like, a day later, like, ‘I hate you,’” Musk said.

When West asked how he handles it, Musk replied, “You probably know exactly. I’m like, ‘Whoa, OK.’”

The conversation stalled into silence until West admitted, “I don’t have the answers. Answers to everything except for that.”

Both men have had their personal lives play out in the public eye. Musk and Grimes, who were together from 2018 to 2022, share three children and have been locked in legal disputes over custody and parenting.

West and Kardashian finalized their divorce in 2021 after seven years of marriage.

They co-parent four children — North, 12, Saint, 9, Chicago, 7, and Psalm, 6 — and have publicly clashed over education and lifestyle choices.

The timing of the scene remains unclear, but it surfaces as both men continue to face backlash.

West lost major brand deals, including with Adidas, after making antisemitic remarks. Musk has been criticized for his management of hate speech on X, the platform formerly known as Twitter.

Musk suspended West from X in 2022 for posting antisemitic content. In February 2025, West deleted his account after another round of controversial posts.

In Whose Name? opens in select theaters Friday and includes an emotional appearance from Kardashian, who tells West in the trailer, “Your personality was not like this a few years ago.”

Donald Trump Files $15 Billion Defamation Suit Against “The New York Times”

Donald Trump launched a $15 billion defamation lawsuit against The New York Times in a Florida federal court on Monday (September 15), accusing the newspaper and four of its journalists of intentionally publishing false and damaging content ahead of the 2024 election.

The lawsuit zeroes in on several articles and a book authored by two Times reporters, claiming the coverage was part of a “decades-long pattern by the New York Times of intentional and malicious defamation against President Trump.”

The legal filing alleges the journalists “published such statements negligently, with knowledge of the falsity of the statements, and/or with reckless disregard of their truth or falsity,” ABC News reports.

Trump announced the legal action on his Truth Social account, writing that The New York Times had become “a virtual ‘mouthpiece’ for the Radical Left Democrat Party.”

The paper has not issued a public response as of early Tuesday (September 16).

This isn’t Trump’s first legal clash with the media. In July, he filed a $10 billion defamation suit against The Wall Street Journal and Rupert Murdoch following a story linking him to financier Jeffrey Epstein. According to a USA Today analysis, Trump has been involved in at least 14 media-related or defamation lawsuits over the years, often targeting outlets that publish critical coverage.

The $15 billion claim marks one of the largest defamation demands Trump has ever filed against a news organization.

Legal scholars note that such cases involving public figures face steep hurdles, as plaintiffs must prove “actual malice”—that is, the publisher either knew the content was false or acted with reckless disregard for the truth.

The lawsuit adds to Trump’s ongoing campaign against what he frequently labels “fake news” media, a theme that has been central to his political messaging since his first presidential run.

Lauryn Hill Stuns At NYFW With Daughter Selah Marley In Rare Appearance

Lauryn Hill made a rare appearance alongside her daughter, Selah Marley, on Sunday (September 8) at New York Fashion Week, turning heads at COS’s Autumn/Winter 2025 runway show in Brooklyn.

The Grammy-winning artist and her 26-year-old daughter arrived at the Greenpoint Terminal Warehouse dressed in sleek looks from the brand’s latest collection.

Hill, 50, wore a black wool coat layered over a leather top, cinched at the waist with a belt and paired with tailored trousers. She added a pop of color with crimson gloves and a matching red hat.

Marley, a model and creative, contrasted her mother’s dark palette with a navy blazer, bright yellow heels and a feathery clutch in the same bold hue.

The event marked a rare public outing for the famously private Hill, who shares Selah with Rohan Marley, son of reggae icon Bob Marley.

The appearance comes after a busy stretch for Hill, who performed at the 2025 Essence Festival in New Orleans in July.

That performance drew attention after starting significantly late, prompting Essence organizers to clarify that “production delays caused the late start time, not the artist.”

Hill also surprised audiences at Beardfest 2025, where she joined her son Zion Marley on stage.

Hill recently showed support for Zion’s music career on Instagram, sharing a clip from his video “Premature Paradise” and writing, “Salute to my beloved son Zion Marley — grass-roots and self-funded, pushing his music out there!! Beautiful song!”

Zion was famously the subject of Hill’s song “To Zion” from her acclaimed 1998 album The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill.

EXCLUSIVE: Judge Rips Milagro Gramz For Trying To Depose Roc Nation & Kelsey Harris

Milagro Gramz drew sharp criticism from a federal judge in Miami after trying to subpoena Roc Nation CEO Desiree Perez and Kelsey Harris just days before a key deadline in a defamation lawsuit filed by Megan Thee Stallion.

U.S. Magistrate Judge Lisette M. Reid denied the motion, accusing Gramz of dragging her feet and ignoring the court’s schedule.

Gramz attempted to serve subpoenas to both Harris and Perez after the discovery window had already closed. In response, Judge Reid rejected the request for substitute service and emphasized the importance of timely litigation.

“Defendant’s request is even more troubling in light of trial fast approaching in November and the undersigned’s previous warning to the parties on the importance of adhering to case deadlines,” Reid added.

Attorneys for Milagro Gramz argued that the depositions were critical due to Harris and Perez’s involvement in the 2022 criminal case involving Megan and rapper Daystar “Tory Lanez” Peterson.

However, the court dismissed the reasoning, noting that Gramz had ample time to act earlier.

“Defendant has known of these witnesses since 2020, and, at the very least, has known of their purported importance to this case since its inception in October 2024. This begs the question of why Defendant was seeking discovery from them just days before the already extended discovery deadline,” Reid wrote in her order.

The lawsuit, filed by Megan Thee Stallion, accuses Gramz of launching a targeted online smear campaign.

According to the complaint, Gramz allegedly spread false claims about the 2020 incident and promoted explicit deepfake content of the rapper to support Tory Lanez, who was sentenced to 10 years in prison for shooting Megan Thee Stallion in her feet.

The suit includes allegations of defamation, emotional distress and cyberstalking. A gag order issued earlier this year prevents both parties from discussing the case publicly.

The trial is set for November, and discovery has already involved a review of Gramz’s communications and financial records. Megan’s legal team claims Gramz received thousands of dollars to post harmful content about her, allegedly directed by Tory Lanez’s father.

With the trial date looming, Judge Reid made it clear there would be no tolerance for further delays.

Martin Luther King & Malcolm X’s Daughters Walk Runway Together

Dr. Bernice King and Dr. Ilyasah Shabazz turned the runway into a living tribute to civil rights history during New York Fashion Week, walking side by side in sweatshirts honoring their fathers — Martin Luther King Jr. and Malcolm X — for the Black-owned athleisure label Actively Black.

The emotional moment unfolded as the two daughters of civil rights giants held hands while walking the catwalk, surrounded by archival footage and living legends of the movement.

“I’ve cried 3 times since last night,” wrote Actively Black founder Lanny Smith on Instagram. “Thank you for trusting me with this vision.”

The show, held during one of fashion’s biggest weeks, blended style with substance. It featured Civil Rights-era visuals and honored those who lived through segregation and fought against it.

Photographer Cecil Williams, known for capturing pivotal moments of the Civil Rights Movement, walked the runway wearing a sweatshirt printed with a colorized version of his own image — a teenage Williams drinking from a “whites-only” water fountain. Behind him, the same photo played on a screen.

“People think the heinous and evil of Jim Crow was ancient times. Nah, people are STILL here who grew up in it,” Smith wrote. “Thank you Cecil Williams for trusting my vision on this.”

Ruby Bridges, who at six years old became the first Black child to integrate a Louisiana elementary school in 1960, also walked the runway. Now 71, she wore a black sweatshirt dress.

Before her appearance, a video montage showed the racist backlash she endured, followed by a young actress escorted by two white men portraying the federal marshals who protected Bridges during her historic walk to school.

After the show, King posted a message to Shabazz: “Let’s ‘walk together…and not get weary,'” quoting her father while calling Shabazz her “sister.”

The presentation also honored the women behind the men — Coretta Scott King and Betty Shabazz — with visuals and tributes woven into the show.

The event comes amid renewed debate over how civil rights history is taught in American schools.

The National Center for Civil and Human Rights in Atlanta recently expanded its exhibits to reflect the continued relevance of the movement.

Smith’s brand has previously collaborated with Williams on apparel featuring his historic images, aiming to keep civil rights stories visible in modern culture.

Bob Vylan Show In The Netherlands Scrapped Over Charlie Kirk Comments

Bob Vylan lost a major gig in the Netherlands after remarks made about Charlie Kirk during a performance in Amsterdam led venue 013 in Tilburg to cancel their upcoming show.

The British rap-punk duo was scheduled to perform at Poppodium 013 on September 16, but the venue pulled the plug following statements frontman Bobby Vylan made at Club Paradiso the night before.

During the set, he addressed the crowd with a pointed dedication: “I want to dedicate this next one to an absolute p############ of a human being. The pronouns was/were. Cause if you chat s###, you will get banged. Rest in peace Charlie Kirk, you p############.”

Kirk, 31, a conservative political figure and founder of Turning Point USA, was shot and killed on Wednesday (September 10) during a speaking event at Utah Valley University.

Authorities have labeled the killing a politically motivated assassination.

The comments quickly ignited backlash, with critics accusing Bobby Vylan of celebrating Kirk’s death.

In response, he released a video denying that interpretation. “At no point during yesterday’s show was Charlie Kirk’s death celebrated. At no point whatsoever did we celebrate Charlie Kirk’s death,” he said.

Despite previously supporting Bob Vylan’s right to express outrage over the situation in Gaza, 013 said the Paradiso comments crossed a line.

“We absolutely reject the trivialization of political murder and the call to ‘go look for people in the streets,'” the venue said in a statement.

The venue added that while they acknowledged the punk and activist context of the performance, the new remarks “no longer fall within the boundaries of what we can provide a stage for.”

013 had previously defended the group’s controversial Glastonbury appearance, where Bobby Vylan said “death to the IDF” during a live BBC broadcast.

He later clarified that the statement was aimed at the Israeli military, not Jewish people, and insisted it was political speech. The BBC later apologized, calling the moment “deeply disturbing.”

Club Paradiso stood by the band, citing artistic freedom.

“Paradiso believes in the power of artistic freedom. Music, and punk in particular, has traditionally been a form of art that amplifies anger, discontent, and injustice without filter,” the venue said.

Bob Vylan, formed in 2017 in Suffolk, England, is known for blending punk, Hip-Hop, grime and hardcore while addressing topics like racism, police violence and class inequality.

Ticket holders for the canceled Tilburg show will receive refund instructions via email. The group’s other scheduled performances in the Netherlands remain unchanged, as of press time.
