Ariana Grande released her seventh studio album, Eternal Sunshine, on Friday (March 8). The global pop singer included a track titled “The Boy Is Mine” on the project, which was inspired by Brandy and Monica’s 1998 single of the same name. Grande spoke to Apple Music 1’s Zane Lowe about her Max Martin-produced record.
“I love that song,” Grande told Zane Lowe about Brandy and Monica’s collaboration. “I’ve always wanted to reimagine that song in some kind of way. I was kind of like, ‘This is a very bad idea.’ But there is a large group of my fans that really do love a bad girl anthem, and this is kind of an elevated version of that.”
Brandy and Monica’s “The Boy Is Mine” spent 13 weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart following its release. The R&B legends’ classic won a Grammy Award for Best R&B Performance By A Duo Or Group With Vocal as well.
Grande’s discography currently boasts five No. 1 albums. The 30-year-old Grammy Award winner dropped the “yes, and?” single in January, which peaked at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100.
D.L. Hughley is calling out DJ Khaled for his refusal to speak out about the deadly conflict in Gaza.
Khaled was born in America after his parents immigrated from areas in the occupied West Bank territory. He has faced staunch criticism for remaining silent on the Israel-Hamas war.
D.L. Hughley condemned DJ Khaled for not speaking out about the crisis in Gaza. During a recent interview with Hollywood Unlocked’s Jason Lee, the comedian said that while he can’t know how Khaled feels about the war, he can see what’s on his timeline.
“So, I’ll see you exalting God when you make a shot, but I’ll watch a seven-year-old Palestinian boy who is praying to God for the strength to bear that his family had been killed,” he stated. “I’ll watch you pray to not hit a bunker and then I will watch a Palestinian family pray that they can find one.”
He continued referencing a recent viral incident where DJ Khaled was carried over a puddle to avoid scuffing his Jordans.
“We’re used to Palestinians being carried,” he added. “They’re just not alive. They’re dead and they don’t have shoes, they don’t even have feet.”
D.L. Hughley Brands DJ Khaled “DJ Callous”
Israel’s attacks on Gaza have reportedly killed at least 30,717 Palestinians. Another another 72,156 people have been wounded, according to Gaza’s Ministry of Health. One-quarter of the population of Gaza, some 576,000 people, are “one step away from famine,” Ramesh Rajasingham, director of the U.N. Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs, said during a briefing dated February 27.
“To me you have gone from DJ Khaled to DJ Callous,” Hughley declared. “You cannot be so oblivious that you forget that the images that you are portraying have an equal and opposite effect. And what it tells people is that if somebody that looks like them doesn’t care why should you.”
Chrisean Rock revealed Blueface’s father was held at gunpoint as intruders attempted to break into the rapper’s L.A. home.
The reality TV star and rapper took to Instagram Live Thursday (March 7) to explain what went down. According to Rock, she was sleeping on the couch at around 5 A.M. when she heard a commotion outside. Blue’s father was leaving for work but realized somebody slashed his tires before being accosted by a group of men who emerged from a car “with guns pointed”.
“Blueface father come in like, “I just was held at gunpoint just now,’” Rock explained, recalling the harrowing incident. The rapper’s dad told her, “They peeled off once they found out I ain’t have nothing on me.”
Chrisean Rock Says It’s Not The First Attempted Break-In
While the men didn’t manage to enter the home, they got as far as the driveway. Chrisean Rock says it isn’t the first attempted break-in.
“It got to be the same people. How many times they got away?” she questioned. Describing the incident as a “life or death” situation, Rock claimed she went into “survival mode” and only thought of her baby.
“I didn’t feel no fear in my heart,” the “Pain” hitmaker said. “I was scared for them. My son. That’s all I’m thinking about. But I ain’t scared for his safety either. Because I know I’m gonna do what I’ve got to do for my little baby.”
Chrisean Rock upped security measures following the attempt. “Now they got cops on standby at the gate, all types of s###. We got security,” she revealed, adding that the entire neighborhood is looking for the suspects’ vehicle.
“Be careful going into somebody house unannounced thinking you finna take something and the only thing you finna do is take yourself out of the situation,” Rock continued.
While Rock wants to avoid a “self-defense type of situation” amid ongoing legal issues, she’s not afraid to protect herself.
“I can’t be scared, my babyfather not here,” she said. “Only thing I can act like is, be ready when they come back.”
Halle Bailey is opening up about why she chose to keep her pregnancy a secret despite the rampant social media rumors surrounding her throughout.
The Little Mermaid actress was honored at the 2024 ESSENCE Black Women in Hollywood Awards on Thursday (March 7).
today i felt like a princess 💘it was an honor to receive the essence black woman in hollywood award 🥹💘to be lifted up by so many women who have paved the way for me to be here today is an incredibly special feeling. thank you to my sister @ChloeBailey for presenting me with… pic.twitter.com/mCk13sRdGL
She became emotional during her acceptance speech while speaking about her son, Halo. The little boy quietly arrived shortly before Christmas last year.
After reflecting on her role in the Disney movie, Halle continued, “it cannot compare to the biggest joy of my life. And that was becoming a mom to my perfect little angel Halo.”
She explained, “There was no way in hell I was going to share the biggest joy of my world with anyone. Halo was my gift. He is the greatest blessing, and I had no obligation to expose him, me, or my family to that.
“With the state of the world and the place it is in with men trying to force their will on our bodies, no one on social media, and for damn sure, no one on the planet, was going to tell me what to do with my body or what to share with the world,” she said.
Halle referenced Lauryn Hill and Beyoncé, who both shied away from the public eye during pregnancy. “We have that right,” she said. “Every woman in the world has that right to choose what to do with their bodies and what to share with anyone or everyone.”
Back in January, Halle Bailey’s partner and Halo’s father, DDG, also explained their choice to keep the pregnancy private.
“I think it was more so like people were already giving us negative vibes,” he said. “So it’s like, why let them know and then let them make her pregnancy stressful?”
4batz just got a major co-sign from Drake, who hopped on the remix of his viral hit “act ii: date @ 8,” virtually guaranteeing further chart success.
The Dallas native has been making waves with the single on social media which was further boosted by his “From the Block Performance.” The song has racked up over 80 million streams on Spotify and has been climbing up the Billboard Hot 100. It debuted eight weeks ago at No. 77 on the chart, peaking at No. 59.
The so-called “Drake Effect” could see the track and 4batz catapulted into the mainstream. The phenomenon occurs when Drizzy joins forces with a newcomer and exposes them to his massive fanbase, causing the artist to blow up overnight. It’s happened countless times before, with Migos before the group became a household name, Yeat, Future and even fellow Toronto native, The Weeknd, and many others.
Super producer Timbaland heard the song for the first time in January and instantly recommended a Drake remix.
“Think y’all got one with this one. Yo, his tone is crazy,” he said on Instagram. “I’m telling you now, The Boy get on this, it’s outta here. It’s already outta here. This thing right here. And y’all know who The Boy is.”
4batz fans have anticipated a Drake feature after the OVO honcho hinted at a collab. He posted the track on his Instagram Story last week, tagging the budding R&B singer and his longtime producer, Noah “40” Shebib.
Then a day before release, 4batz shared a video of him and his crew listening to the remix alongside Drake. “this friday,” he teased in the caption. Listen to the track below.
In a flurry of incendiary comments following President Joe Biden’s State of the Union address, former President Donald Trump utilized his Truth Social platform to launch a vehement attack on Biden and Facebook’s CEO, Mark Zuckerberg.
Trump’s remarks underscore the heightened political tensions as he gears up for a potential rematch against Biden in the 2024 Presidential elections.
Biden’s address to the nation, which focused on issues ranging from economic recovery to education reform, apparently did little to quell Trump’s fervor.
Biden took on Trump and his role in the January 6th, 2021 riots at the Capitol Building, claiming the former President “failed” at his duty to care, warned Russian President Putin, a promise to restore Roe Vs. Wade, the Israel/Gaza conflict and of course, his age.
Trump criticized the speech as “angry, polarizing, and hate-filled,” accusing Biden of neglecting critical issues such as immigration and security along the U.S.-Mexico border.
”That may be the Angriest, Least Compassionate, and Worst State of the Union Speech ever made. It was an Embarrassment to our Country!
“He wants our Country to be flooded with Migrants,” Trump charged, predicting a surge in crime rates as a consequence of Biden’s policies.
However, Trump didn’t stop at denouncing Biden’s policies and leadership style. He extended his critique to Mark Zuckerberg, lambasting the tech mogul for his role in the purported manipulation of the previous election.
In a series of posts, Trump bitterly complained about the potential for Facebook to gain if TikTok were banned, labeling Zuckerberg a “Zuckerschmuck” and Facebook “a true Enemy of the People!”
”If you get rid of TikTok, Facebook and Zuckerschmuck will double their business. I don’t want Facebook, who cheated in the last Election, doing better. They are a true Enemy of the People!” Donald Trump raged.
Trump’s attack on Joe Biden underlines the rift between him and major technology companies, which he accuses of bias and interference in political processes.
His allegation of election manipulation reflects lingering grievances from the 2020 election, resurfacing as he positions himself as the likely Republican nominee for the upcoming presidential race.
As Trump ramps up his campaign, these latest remarks emphasize his strategy of stoking division and rallying his base through contentious rhetoric.
Meanwhile, Biden’s administration continues to navigate a polarized political landscape, seeking to fulfill campaign promises amidst relentless critique from opponents.
Comedian and actor Mike Epps has vowed to forever step away from podcast interviews and the internet, following a controversial appearance where his comments about his wife sparked widespread backlash.
During a recent appearance on the “All The Smoke” podcast, Mike Epps made remarks that were perceived as disrespectful towards his wife Kyra, igniting a firestorm of criticism across social media platforms.
“I used to cry all the time and ask God, what did I do that I can’t have a son?,” Mike Epps said during the interview on the “All The Smoke”. “But I know what it was. I lied to all these women, got them pregnant and sold them dreams. One thing I’m going to get right before I leave this Earth, I’m going to learn how to treat a woman 100% right.”
Epps also reflected on his struggle with treating women right, signaling a moment of introspection and personal accountability that apparently backfired.
“That’s something that I want to do. For my mother, for my children for my daughters. And now that I’m getting older, I’m realizing that you’ve got to treat a woman right,” he said during the interview.
Mike Epps, known for his stand-up comedy and roles in films like “Next Friday” and “The Hangover,” quickly realized the gravity of his words and took to social media not only to issue an apology but also to announce a significant change in how he engages with the public and the media.
In a heartfelt post, Epps expressed remorse for his comments, emphasizing the importance of respecting his partner and acknowledging the hurt his words caused.
“I wanna apologize to my wife for what I said on this dumb ass podcast s### this s### is a trick bag I am always misunderstood on what I say on the internet smh never again will I interview with anyone never I am off this s### for good f### off less,” Epps wrote.
Further, following the controversy, Epps shared a follow-up post with a flattering image of his wife, accompanied by a message underlining his love and respect for her. This gesture seemed aimed at mending the damage done by his earlier comments and reinforcing his commitment to his relationship.
In his statement and subsequent actions, Mike Epps committed to a quieter, more private life, away from the potential pitfalls of off-the-cuff remarks in the digital age, hoping to focus on personal growth and the sanctity of his marriage to Kyra, who is an accomplished TV producer in her own right.
Some have seen this public acknowledgment of his faults and his commitment to doing better by his wife and by women in general as a positive step forward for the comedian.
“Please allow Mr.Epps to continue podcasting and interviews. He says some silly unnecessary things at times however thats why we Love him. He on the internet apologizing for saying what he did on the podcast but the joy he spreads being himself has always been a beacon our life,” one user begged of Kyra.
“Allow the man to sleep on the couch at least,” another fan chimed in.
Travis Scott and his former partner Kylie Jenner are set to face off in the world of hard seltzers.
According to The Daily Mail, Scott will release his Cacti 2.0 seltzer on March 15, just days before Jenner is set to launch her own spiked carbonated beverage on March 21. Dubbed Sprinter, the seltzer is reportedly fairly new and early in the developmental stages, considering the patent wasn’t filed until February 2023.
Kylie (and Kendall?)’s new vodka soda brand Sprinter will be available nationwide starting March 21st 💫

Kylie Jenner and Travis Scott split in January 2023–and that’s precisely why a source close to LA Flame believes Jenner’s new seltzer is a petty attempt to hijack Travis Scott’s buzz.
“Kylie ripped his idea plain and simple,” the source told The Daily Mail.
Despite the possible incoming competition from the mother of his children, Scott has remained steadfast in promoting Cacti 2.0. Check out the footage of Scott court side drinking Cacti’s while Clark set the NCAA scoring record below.
Tyla has canceled her upcoming tour. On Thursday (March 7), the “Water” vocalist shared a lengthy message on her Instagram account, explaining how she arrived at the tough decision to cancel all upcoming dates, including Coachella.
In her address to her fans, who she affectionately calls her “Tigers,” Tyla revealed an injury has become too gruesome to overcome in pursuit of fulfilling her dream.
“As much as this is something I would rather have dealt with privately,” Tyla began. “For the past year, I’ve been silently suffering with an injury that has tragically worsened. I’ve seen doctors and specialists with high hopes, but the pain has only become more agonizing as has the severity of the situation. In consulting with medical professionals, it’s become increasingly clear that continuing any festival or tour dates would jeopardize my long-term health and safety.”
She added, “I am absolutely heartbroken. Words cannot describe my frustration at this pivotal point in my career. So please know that my team and I are working diligently on a spectacular show for you as soon as I am recovered and ready to return safely onstage this summer.”
The Grammy Award winner didn’t provide a specific timeframe, however, she did assure fans she would remain in high visibility amid her physical rehab in the caption of the post.
Tyla was planning to hit the United Kingdom and Europe later this month, but the dates have been labeled as rescheduled, while the North American leg of the tour has been canceled. The South African native’s self-titled album is still scheduled to be released on March 22.
One of Queen Latifah‘s most well-known and beloved characters was resurrected, following the release of a female rapper’s viral mugshot.
According to multiple reports, Chicago rapper Blasian Doll was recently arrested on gun and theft charges and, at one point, was reportedly being held without bond. While she’s been in and out of the headlines throughout the past month due to the alleged sex tape leak and rumors swirling about Tay Savage being involved in the murder of her mother, Blasian has gone viral again for bearing a resemblance to Latifah in her latest booking photo. More specifically, users on Instagram couldn’t seem to get over how closely Blasian resembled Queen Latifah’s Cleo character from the film Set It Off.
”Soon as she release she should drop a song called Cleo flow,” a user remarked in the comments section of the mug shot post.
Another user commented “Free Cleo,” stamped with a crying laughing emoji, which was followed by a user who remarked, “She doesn’t even look like Queen Latifah.”
It appears the dead giveaway here was Blasian’s neat cornrows, which appear almost identical to the braids Cleo rocked in the movie. Not to mention, the mugshot is almost the spitting image of the notorious mugshot scene from Set It Off in which Cleo infamously mugs the camera.
Multiple social media users shared their theories about Blasian’s appearance, with one YouTube creator even suggesting she may have been on her way to get a wig or took it off before taking the photo.
Check out the vide for more details on Blasian’s arrest.
Ja Rule was not happy with Piers Morgan questioning him about his ongoing feud with 50 Cent during their recent interview.
On Tuesday (March 5), Ja appeared on Piers Morgan Uncensored for an exclusive conversation with the wold renowned pundit to discuss multiple topics, such as his Sunrise Tour with Keri Hilston, Diddy’s mounting sexual assault lawsuits and Beyoncé’s recent Album of The Year Grammy’s snub.
In particular, Morgan appeared to fan the flames of Ja Rule and 50 Cent’s incendiary feud after inquiring about the incident on February 27, when Ja Rule revealed he was refused entry to the U.K at the last minute, prompting his arch nemesis to take a dig at him on Twitter. Ja Rule fired back in a tweet aimed at 50 Cent in which he wrote, “N#### you p#### shut up…”
However, when Morgan called on the “What’s Love” lyricist to remark on the cyber encounter, Ja appeared to be much more reserved than he was on social media—at first.
”I think I responded, I’m cool,” Ja Rule said in part. “I don’t get into the back and forth, you know. When pressured to open up about his tumultuous 25-year relationship with 50, Ja continued, ”I’m cool, Piers.”
He added, “I really don’t do social media like that at all. I post, of course, to promote some of my things–but I’m really not the social media guy like that. I really don’t get into the back and forth with him.”
After Morgan essentially asked him why he thinks he can take the high road when it comes to crossing paths with 50, Ja explained that neither the concept, nor the semantics of their beef is something for him to understand because he’s incapable of seeing things from his unique perspective.
“I mean, you gotta kinda be from where we’re from to understand the terminology of that,” he said. It’s some of the things I spoke about earlier. Those are real man things; taking care of your family, taking care of your kids, putting your kids through college, being a real father to your family and your children. … Those are stand-up things. In that aspect, I’m very, very stand-up.”
As Ja concluded, he told Morgan, “Next time you interview him, Piers, ask him these questions about me.”
Check out the full interview below, and or tune in to the 12-minute mark to catch the awkward exchange.
The first episode of BMF’s third season scored the highest viewership in the show’s history, much to the delight of 50 Cent. The rapper-turned-television hitmaker reacted to the spike in viewership by teasing two BMF spin-offs on Thursday (March 7).
“MF Up 25% in 3 day, progress is not a slow process over here,” he wrote on Instagram. “Wait till you see my two new spin off shows. GLG GreenLightGang you know the vibes. BOOM.”
BMF’s third season premiered on March 1. According to The Hollywood Reporter, 5.1 million viewers watched the episode over three days. The numbers marked a dramatic increase in views for BMF. The second season’s premiere had 4.1 million viewers.
Most of BMF’s audience watched the third season’s premiere via the STARZ app. Only 250,000 viewers saw the episode in its debut on the STARZ channel. But the on-air viewership was up too from last season. BMF’s second season had 170,000 viewers for its on-air premiere.
STARZ renewed BMF for a fourth season ahead of the third season’s premiere. Production on the fourth season is scheduled to begin this spring.
“Fans can’t get enough of the history in the making that is BMF,” STARZ president of original programming Kathryn Busby said. “We’re thrilled to start working on a new season that will continue bold storytelling of the legend of the Flenory brothers that has proven to resonate so deeply with our viewers.”
The renewal made sense for STARZ, which started to rely on 50 Cent producing multiple hits for the network. The G-Unit boss also produced the Power franchise.
50 Cent previously announced plans for three BMF spin-offs in January 2023. Months later, he claimed he would not produce any spin-offs due to his frustrations with STARZ. He changed his mind again, teasing spin-offs following the arrests of more than a dozen Black Mafia Family members in October 2023.
The Supreme Court of Georgia’s decision to overturn Morgan Baker’s murder conviction could help Young Thug in the rapper’s ongoing RICO trial. Defense attorney Brian Steel filed a supplemental motion referencing the court’s March 5 ruling in hopes of removing rap lyrics and music videos as evidence in Young Thug’s trial on Wednesday (March 6).
“Baker v. State … has a wonderful analysis of O.C.G.A. § 24-4-403 evidence pertaining to a video of rap music,” Steel wrote. “In Baker v. State, supra, lyrics were not at issue because the words on the rap video were mostly indiscernible. Regardless, our Highest Court, in a 7-2 Opinion, reversed murder convictions from Houston County, Georgia based upon the fact that the Trial Court abused its discretion, not in hindsight but at the time of trial on the admission of evidence by introducing the evidence as ‘intrinsic evidence’ as same did not complete the story as well as under other act evidence because this evidence added little, if any, probative value to the case even if this musical video passed O.C.G.A. § 24-4-401 as well as O.C.G.A. § 24-4-402.”
Georgia’s highest court overturned Baker’s conviction due to the improper use of a NoCap music video in his trial. Young Thug’s legal team believed the ruling bolstered their arguments for striking lyrics and music videos as evidence in his RICO trial.
“Without the prosecution knowing who wrote the lyrics at issue, when the lyrics were written, when the lyrics were produced, who potentially changed any lyrics, what was the intention of the lyrics, what was the mindset of the person speaking the lyrics, who authorized and promoted and orchestrated the musical videos, whether they were real guns or not, whether the musical videos were done for promotional purposes or the like, [Young Thug] again asks this Honorable Court to exclude any and all of the State’s requested evidence pursuant to the Constitutional provisions previously argued … as this evidence is merely an attack on character/propensity,” Steel wrote.
Young Thug is one of six defendants on trial in the YSL RICO case. The trial began in November 2023.
The 300 Entertainment artist pleaded not guilty to multiple charges. He has remained in jail since his 2022 arrest.
MC Shan refused to accept any suggestion that Eminem is a culture vulture. The Hip-Hop pioneer co-signed Eminem and attacked polarizing internet celebrity Dr. Umar Johnson in an interview with Panda Chop News.
“Eminem was in trenches,” MC Shan said when asked about the culture vulture label. “F### that! Ain’t nothing else to say about this question. That m########### was in the trenches.”
MC Shan previously defended Eminem after Dr. Umar claimed it was “white supremacy” to include Slim Shady in Hip-Hop GOAT discussions. Last December, Eminem showed his appreciation by posting a photo of three MC Shan cassettes he owned.
Eminem’s gesture resonated with MC Shan, who reiterated his issues with Dr. Umar’s opinions. MC Shan highlighted Eminem’s support and scoffed at Dr. Umar, who said he grew up listening to the Juice Crew member.
“That n#### had three of my s####,” MC Shan said. “Eminem has three of my m############ [cassettes]. He ain’t just have one. How many people of my m############ culture came back and said, ‘I’ve got this to match Eminem?’ F### y’all n##### talking about? There is no separation or divide, period. And now if you wanna look at it like that, now I could start questioning all the folks that say they f### with me. How come y’all dogging Eminem as a white boy, but he could show me three of my cassettes and not—I can’t put three of you m############ together that could show me you got one. So, f### y’all n#####. F### y’all n#####!”
He continued, “And that’s that Dr. Umar m############ message that you don’t deal with reality. You just look at the color. If I looked at the color, I’d say, ‘F### Eminem. He’s got three tapes, so the f### what? He’s white.’ But no, that’s a Dr. Umar thing … Dr. Umar, I don’t deal on psychological f###### aspect 101. You gotta come up here somewhere. Although I don’t have a doctorate, so what? You tried to make me feel bad. F### you!”
The 2024 Dreamville Festival unveiled its lineup with a surprising omission on Thursday (March 7). Fans questioned why Dreamville Records artist Ari Lennox was not part of this year’s event, which is scheduled to take place in North Carolina on April 6-7.
“Some of the biggest names in music will travel to Raleigh in only a few short weeks, bringing about one of the most highly anticipated festivals of the year,” the festival’s president Adam Roy said. “Our team looks forward to welcoming all of our Day One fans from around the world back to Dreamville Festival.”
Lennox’s absence stood out since she was the only member of the Dreamville Records roster missing from the lineup. J. Cole, J.I.D, Bas, Cozz, EarthGang, Lute and Omen were all booked for the two-day festival.
The 2024 Dreamville Festival featured J. Cole, Nicki Minaj, SZA and Chris Brown as headliners. Other performers included ScHoolboy Q, Sexyy Red, Lil Yachty, Jeezy, Monica, Teezo Touchdown, Muni Long and Rae Sremmurd.
Lennox will miss this year’s Dreamville Festival after a rough experience as the opener on Rod Wave’s tour. The R&B singer faced disrespect at the shows, including a fan throwing a water bottle at her. She reflected on her tough times as an opening act on Instagram Live in January.
“It’s one thing to hate me, that’s fine,” Lennox said. “Like you hate me. But it’s another thing to be like ‘Get this b#### off stage,” or like have your little signs or like assault me. It’s just like what is this aggression? Like you’re that p#####?”
She added, “It was just a very hard two and a half f###### months. Very, very, very hard. And very lonely too. But I thought it would be a good idea.”
View some of the reactions to Lennox’s absence from the 2024 Dreamville Festival below.
Kid Cudi gifted his fans the new album Insano on January 12. The Cleveland-bred rap star will support his latest body of work with a tour of North America and Europe.
The Insano World Tour kicks off June 28 in Austin, Texas. Kid Cudi will also hit other cities such as Toronto, Montreal, New York, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Paris, Dublin and London.
In addition, Cudi recruited fellow G.O.O.D. Music alumnus Pusha T for the Insano World Tour lineup. The 40-year-old “Day ‘n’ Nite” hitmaker tapped Jaden Smith and EarthGang as well.
Pusha T dropped the It’s Almost Dry album in April 2022. That studio LP scored a Best Rap Album nomination at the 65th Annual Grammy Awards, losing to Mr. Morale & the Big Steppers by Kendrick Lamar.
EarthGang’s discography includes 2015’s Strays with Rabies, 2019’s Mirrorland and 2022’s Ghetto Gods. Jaden Smith has released three albums. The Hollywood scion also collaborated with Kid Cudi for the “On My Own” single.
Kid Cudi’s Insano opened at No. 13 on the Billboard 200 chart. On February 23, the Grammy-winning rapper followed up Insano with a sequel to the album titled Insano (Nitro Mega). Pusha T appears on “Everybody Like” off Cudi’s latest release.
Has Cardi B embraced being a social media food critic à la Keith Lee? The “Bodak Yellow” rapper took to TikTok to share her first experience eating balut, a cooked bird egg embryo.
“I’ve been seeing this for a long time—it’s called Balut,” Cardi B explained to her 24 million TikTok followers. She even referenced Keith Lee by saying, “I got it, let’s try it and rate it from one to ten.”
The Grammy Award winner consumed Nexium and Pepto Bismol before beginning her on-camera taste test. Cardi B also added lemon and salt to the common street food from Asian countries like the Philippines and Vietnam.
“No, I don’t like it,” Cardi B exclaimed after tasting the Balut. She added, “It literally tastes, to me, like an uncooked chicken. I don’t know. It was too gamey for me.”
The 31-year-old Bronx native also said, “Yeah, I’m a ghetto-a## b####. I still eat my s### well done. I don’t even like rare steak. But the liquid it has inside, it was good.”
Jake “El Gallo” Paul (9-1, 6 KOs) and “Iron” Mike Tyson (50-6, 44 KOs) will officially face off in a boxing match on Saturday, July 20, 2024, in Arlington, Texas. The upcoming fight will stream live from AT&T Stadium on Netflix.
“I’m very much looking forward to stepping into the ring with Jake Paul at the AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas,” Mike Tyson said in a statement. “He’s grown significantly as a boxer over the years, so it will be a lot of fun to see what the will and ambition of a ‘kid’ can do with the experience and aptitude of a GOAT.”
In addition, Tyson stated, “It’s a full circle moment that will be beyond thrilling to watch; as I started him off on his boxing journey on the undercard of my fight with Roy Jones and now I plan to finish him.”

“It’s crazy to think that in my second pro fight, I went viral for knocking out Nate Robinson on Mike Tyson’s undercard,” said Jake Paul. “Now, less than four years later, I’m stepping up to face Tyson myself to see if I have what it takes to beat one of boxing’s most notorious fighters and biggest icons.”
Paul also added, “Within just two and a half years of founding MVP, we’re about to produce the biggest fight in history, a fight in the biggest NFL stadium in the US, broadcast live, on the biggest streaming platform in the world – a testament to all we’ve accomplished in such a short amount of time.”

The sports media landscape continues to evolve as popular personalities move to different networks and platforms. For example, Shannon Sharpe parting ways with Skip Bayless in 2023 marked a major transitional moment.
Marketing executive/former record executive Steve Stoute sat down with Shannon Sharpe for the Pro Football Hall of Famer’s Club Shay Shay podcast. Stoute brought up Sharpe’s formerUndisputed co-host.
“I watched your ex-host, Skip. I don’t even understand why all these other Black athletes even go on the show now,” Steve Stoute told Shannon Sharpe. He continued, “I don’t even understand what they’re doing.”
Stoute also said, “To me, it’s so clear that he needs Black talent, athletes, rappers. He’s doing everything to prop himself up. And I know he’s getting paid over there and everybody else is getting pennies on the dollar. And I’m like, ‘Why would you do that!?'”
After Shannon Sharpe departed Undisputed, the Fox Sports 1 program hired former NFL stars Richard Sherman, Keyshawn Johnson and Michael Irvin as replacements in 2023. Hip-Hop superstar Lil Wayne also joined the talk show that same year.
“He clearly isn’t the guy,” Steve Stoute claimed about FS1’s Skip Bayless. “He needs you. Why don’t everybody leave the show and let’s watch him do it for a minute. That show would be dead, immediately.”
Professional boxer Ryan Garcia is scheduled to fight WBC Super Lightweight Champion Devin Haney on April 20. Garcia’s recent online behavior led to responses from public figures, including sports pundit Cam’ron.
Earlier this week, Ryan Garcia participated in a Twitter Spaces with social media personality/former kickboxer Andrew Tate. That conversation included Garcia claiming powerful people forced him to watch children get sexually abused at the secretive gentlemen’s club known as Bohemian Grove.
Cam’ron and Ma$e spoke about Ryan Garcia on the latest episode of their It Is What It Is show. The former recording artists had differing takes on Garcia’s apparent mental and emotional struggles.
“I thought this was very, very alarming and that something was really wrong,” Ma$e said. “So I’m trying to stay serious about it because I got a lot of jokes coming into my mind. But I don’t wanna joke on this situation.”
Additionally, Cam’ron accused Garcia of using cocaine. He offered, “This got yola written all over it. Yola, b##### sugar, nose candy. That [sniffs]… Yeah, Snow White, Becky. This got this written all over it.”
