Will Smith Praises Pregnant “Bad Boys” Co-Star Vanessa Hudgens

Will Smith detailed how Vanessa Hudgens’s pregnancy influenced the filming of “Bad Boys: Ride or Die” after an actors’ strike disrupted production.

Filming for the action-comedy, which had already been paused due to an actors’ strike, faced additional complications when production resumed, as Hudgens returned with a baby bump.

Will Smith revealed in an interview with Entertainment Tonight that the crew had to adapt their shooting schedule to accommodate Hudgens..

“So the strike happened and when she came back and we had to finish the movie, it was really about trying to figure out how to shoot around the bump,” Smith explained.

Despite the logistical hurdles, Smith admired Hudgens, describing her as “a hard worker” who was determined to complete her scenes.

“I told her, ‘No, don’t worry. You’ll always be able to tell your child that they were in this scene with you,'” he added.

Hudgens, who joined the “Bad Boys” franchise in 2020 as weapons expert Kelly, revealed her pregnancy when she showed off her baby bump at the Oscars in March.

Married to baseball player Cole Tucker, the 35-year-old actress has since shared what fans can expect from the new installment.

“We really leaned into the fact that Will and Martin Lawrence are a bit older and things are changing. They’re not necessarily operating at the speed they once knew,” Hudgens told ET. “It’s fun to be around and I think there are a lot of belly laughs and it’s action-packed. It’s going to be a great movie.”

“Bad Boys: Ride or Die,” in which Smith and Lawrence are reprising their iconic roles, will hit theaters on June 7.

Willow Smith Embraces Her Hairy Armpits & Legs

Willow Smith discussed how her parents’ encouragement led her to experiment with her hair, ultimately aiding her self-discovery.

The daughter of Will and Jada Pinkett Smith spoke to Allure about how changing her hairstyle from unique colors to shaving her head became a form of personal growth.

“My mother allowed me to do that because she strongly believed that being able to express myself in that way was very important,” Willow Smith shared. “And I completely agree with her because it helped me figure out who I am.”

At 23, Willow Smith openly flouts certain traditional norms while embracing natural elements that resonate more with her identity.

“My legs are never shaved. I always have hairy-ass armpits like, I’m brown, my hair is nappy. That’s why I think I straddle a very interesting position in the beauty standard world,” she explained, demonstrating how she both conforms to and rebels against conventional beauty ideals.

In the interview, Willow also reflected on her debut single, “Whip My Hair,” and its aftermath. While she admitted it left her “scarred,” she acknowledges that it was impactful.

“When I look at women from all different walks of life, all different skin tones who are authentic to themselves and they see their beauty, that inspires me,” she said. “And I’m inspiring them because I’m paying attention to them,” the singer explained as she noted the mutual exchange of inspiration between herself and her fans.

Shaving her head in 2012 was a pivotal moment for Willow, marking a significant personal transformation.

“All of your sadness and your happiness and your confusion, your hair is on you forever. And when you shave it off, you’re kind of naked. You’re kind of like, you need to be new now,” she further added, illuminating how this drastic change allowed her to start anew.

Diddy’s Assault On Cassie Stirs Up Conspiracies About Kim Porter’s 2018 Death

Al B. Sure said it before—he doesn’t think Kim Porter’s death was caused by an illness. The model and mother of several of Diddy’s children died in November 2018.

Two months later, the Los Angeles County Coroner’s Office determined her death was the result of lobar pneumonia. But Al B. Sure strongly implicated at the time that Diddy was somehow responsible for her passing—not pneumonia.

Now, in light of the disturbing video of the Bad Boy Records mogul assaulting ex Cassie Ventura, a self-proclaimed friend of Porter is making some serious allegations. In a series of Twitter (X) posts, Kola Boof suggested Diddy is also connected to Porter’s sudden death.

“Pneumonia can be faked so easily by a Doctor or by The Morgue,” Boof wrote. “Please read up on this. She was about to turn in a book she wrote about her life & she suddenly DIES at just 47.”

Boof also noted what Diddy did to Ventura in the now-viral clip as mild compared to what he did to Porter. She claimed Diddy tried to pit the two women against each other, as well.

Elsewhere, she tweeted, “What ya’ll saw in that video of Diddy beating Cassie was NOTHING. Will never forget the time he tried to make Kim Porter lick Cassie’s tampon. Always using Kim’s race as a put down. You guys don’t know the HALF of what women go through with famous & powerful men. Be they rappers, be they Bin Laden, be they actors — ya’ll have NO IDEA. And you always demonized the women. Always!”

She added, “Rich Black Women don’t suddenly die from pneumonia at age 47. Locked away from the world instead of receiving medical care at a hospital. No family around to protect her… So yes. I believe we’re not being told what truly happened that led to her death.”

Boof continued, scoffing at people’s assumption the hospital was honest about Kim Porter’s cause of death and comparing the Cassie Ventura incident at the InterContinental Hotel in Los Angeles.

As she wrote, “THE HOTEL …. withheld the footage of DIDDY beating up Cassie for years due to his wealth and influence. But you think the hospital told you the truth about KIM PORTER’s death. I don’t believe it!”

“THE PROBLEM …. is that Kim Porter (and Cassie & all of his women) would ‘DENY IT’ while they were actually with him. It was classic abuse. Crying, bleeding, ‘he beat me’ — but then the NEXT DAY. Oh we’re fine now. Nothing happened. We’re in love. You can’t FORCE them to get help. You can’t fight their battle if they gonna deny it when COPS show up!”

But the evidence is mounting. There are photos of Diddy and Ventura at an event just two days after the beating, and she appears to be covering her injuries with makeup. Eagle-eyed fans zeroed in on the faint bruises that seem to be on her arm and leg. Whatever the case, it’s not looking good for Diddy.

Although he can’t be charged in the 2016 assault due its the statute of limitations, Kodak Black’s attorney Bradford Cohen indicated there are more hurdles for Diddy right around the corner—and it’s likely going to get worse.

Legendary Hip-Hop Production Team Da Beatminerz Prepping First Album In 20 Years

Hip-Hop legends De La Soul and Pharoahe Monch have teamed up with Da Beatminerz and an ensemble cast for the new single “My Year,” which was released in conjunction with an animated music video.

The track features verses from Rasheed Chappell and Corey Glover of Living Colour and marks the second single from Da Beatminerz’s upcoming album Stifled Creativity set to drop on June 21, 2024.

Da Beatminerz, composed by Walter “Mr. Walt” and Ewart “DJ Evil Dee” Dewgarde alongside early crew member Baby Paul, have a legacy anchored in revolutionizing the ’90s streetwise Hip-Hop sound.

This collaboration serves as a reminder of the heavyweights’ contribution to the genre, reflecting on a partnership steeped in decades of shared history and mutual respect.

Anthony Edwards animated the video for “My Year.” It leverages the artists’ personas and lyrical energy, splitting the scenes to match the rhythm, pace, and message of the song.

Edwards stated, “The music and lyrics help prompt some great results as well as help with breaking the scenes apart based on the rapper’s cadence and patterns.”

Adding layers to the narrative, Edwards has created visually compelling loops that mirror the vocal performance resonantly.

Da Beatminerz’s Mr. Walt remarked on the collaboration, emphasizing lifelong connections with the artists involved.

“Been friends with De La since ’88 and Monch since ’87, so the relationship was already there. I met them all at the record store I worked at (Music Factory in Jamaica, Queens) and ‘My Year’ was one of the first songs we worked on when we started the album,” he said, reminiscing how difficult health issues delayed the project but made the final product even more treasured.

Despite challenges, unique voices like Rasheed Chappell and Corey Glover rounded out the project perfectly, making it a tribute to old and new friendships.

The forthcoming album Stifled Creativity, which breaks their two-decade hiatus after releasing full-length projects, holds significant meaning for Da Beatminerz fans.

Preceded by the previous single “Seckle… Once Again” featuring Hip-Hop royalty KRS-One and Smif-N-Wessun, anticipation is thoroughly amplified amongst the fan base.

Da Beatminerz’s production credits read like a history lesson in Hip-Hop, stretching over projects by heavyweights including Smif-N-Wessun (Dah Shinin), Black Moon (Enta Da Stage), and contemporary features for artists like Eminem and Ghostface Killah.

Kodak Black’s Lawyer Says Cassie Assault Video Is Only Beginning Of Diddy’s Legal Troubles

Kodak Black‘s longtime attorney, Bradford Cohen, weighed in on the shocking surveillance footage of Diddy violently attacking ex Cassie Ventura in 2016.

The video clip, released by CNN on Friday (May 17), has understandably caused an uproar online. Cohen shared a screenshot of the video to his Instagram account on Saturday (May 18) and strongly suggested this is only the beginning for Diddy’s legal troubles.

“Anyone who thinks CNN ‘obtained’ the video is a sucker,” Cohen wrote. “This was a leak, and to me, it telegraph s the fact he’s about to be charged in a bigger case. This way, if Cassie is the star witness, they can rely on the fact she was essentially under his control. By the way, that is why this case should have been settled way before the lawsuit was filed.”

He added, “One other observation is there is a reason he hasn’t left the country or flew anywhere the past month. My belief is they would arrest in a criminal complaint if he flew anywhere.”

The video of the incident, which took place at the InterContinental Hotel in Los Angeles, corroborates some of the allegations in Cassie Ventura’s 2023 lawsuit against the Bad Boy Records mogul. The video showed Diddy chasing Ventura down a hotel hallway wearing nothing but a white towel. He caught up to Ventura at the elevator doors and dragged her back toward their hotel room—but not before viciously throwing her to the ground and kicking her twice.

Ventura  escaped his grasp at some point and tried to call for help on a hotel phone. But Diddy returned and shoved her in a corner, then threw a vase at her.

“The gut-wrenching video has only further confirmed the disturbing and predatory behavior of Mr. Combs,” Cassie’s lawyer Douglas Wigdor said. “Words cannot express the courage and fortitude that Ms. Ventura has shown in coming forward to bring this to light.”

Hotel Chain Distances Themselves From Diddy After He Paid To Obtain Violent Cassie Video

Sean “Diddy” Combs allegedly shelled out $50,000 to secure hotel footage catching him assaulting Cassie Ventura in 2016 at Los Angeles’ InterContinental Hotel.

The alarming video came to light, showing Diddy punching, kicking, shoving and dragging Ventura in a hotel hallway after she attempted to leave their room.

CNN confirmed the authenticity of the surveillance tape depicting the violent confrontation.

In November 2023, a lawsuit filed by Ventura accused Combs of rape, sexual harassment, and physical abuse throughout their tumultuous decade-long relationship.

The lawsuit stated, “Upon information and belief, Mr. Combs paid the InterContinental Century City $50,000 for the hallway security footage from that evening.”

“This hotel is no longer under IHG management, and we do not have any access to prior incident records or footage,” an IHG rep told People in response to the violent altercation.

Cassie’s attorney, Douglas Wigdor, denounced the footage as evidence of Combs’ “disturbing and predatory behavior,” applauding Ventura’s bravery in exposing the alleged abuse.

Although the lawsuit was settled just a day after being filed, the video’s release has reignited public attention and scrutiny towards Combs.

The mogul is still in the cross-hairs of Homeland Security as well, after his New York, Miami, and Los Angeles homes were raided by dozens of armed officers in what has widely been reported as a probe into his alleged involvement in a sex trafficking ring.

Young Dolph’s Fiancée Mia Jaye Slams Justice System After Murder Trial Delayed

Young Dolph’s fiance, Mia Jaye, is adamant in her pursuit of justice following a delay in the rapper’s murder case.

The trial for Justin Johnson, one of the accused, was recently rescheduled to accommodate additional expert testimonies and hearings.

Mia Jaye’s frustration is palpable as she calls for accountability in the wake of Young Dolph’s untimely death.

The delay has reignited her concerns about suspects committing more crimes while out on bond.

Shelby County District Attorney Steve Mulroy outlined various factors contributing to the postponement, stressing the need to preserve the integrity of the case.

But Mia Jaye lambasted the process, saying justice for Young Dolph is long overdue.

“It is truly hurtful that my family was robbed of a future… My love’s life was taken… and to be left behind to see NO ONE be held accountable in the court of law for the act… is INSANE,” Mia Jaye passionately stated.

“Our family has witnessed lenient bonds being granted, absurd requests approved for the defendants to receive a change of venue, freedom, more time to build a stronger defense… we’ve seen defendants release songs, enjoy life while on house arrest… all while our loved one is six feet deep, waiting for JUSTICE to be served… it is disheartening, unfair, triggering, and hurtful.”

The trial for Justin Johnson and Cornelius Smith Jr., both accused of murdering the Memphis rapper, has been pushed back to September.

Initially slated for June 3, 2024, the defense’s request for more expert reviews led to another postponement, with the prosecution yielding.

For the second time, the trial date has shifted; it was first scheduled for March 11, 2024.

“For everyone who says ‘trust the process,’ our family has for three years, but the process and system is BROKEN (as evident across ALL of Black America, let’s be honest… check the stats) and continuing to sit back allowing people to PLAY in your face isn’t trusting the process. It is ignoring the process and giving room for everything wrong to happen, overlooking ACCOUNTABILITY,” declared Mia Jaye.

Johnson and Smith, indicted in January 2022 on charges including first-degree murder, remain jailed in Shelby County without bail.

Hernandez Govan, another suspect accused of orchestrating the murder, faces multiple charges and is currently on house arrest with a $90,000 bond. Jermarcus Johnson, who pleaded guilty to accessory charges and provided information about other suspects, received a sentence of six to twelve years.

Young Dolph, born Adolph Thornton Jr., was murdered at Makeda’s Cookies on November 17, 2021.

If found guilty of first-degree murder, the suspects could face life imprisonment without parole.

Since Young Dolph’s assassination in 2021, Mia Jaye has relentlessly advocated for justice for the rap star and she is determined to see justice served.

“This case is not a part of ENTERTAINMENT which it can be easily mistaken for given Dolph’s nature of business… Dolph was just as human as anyone else, his life meant so much to so many, he was and still is so SPECIAL and he DESERVES to rest in peace receiving the JUSTICE he rightfully DESERVES,” Mia Jaye emphasized.

Diddy Accused Of Trying To Make Grammy Award-Winning Male Producer Perform Oral Sex On Him

Various celebrities continue to react to a shocking video of Sean “Diddy” Combs violently attacking his ex-girlfriend Cassie Ventura and more sordid allegations are being leveled at the embattled mogul.

Grammy Award-winning Producer Prince, who has worked with artists like Gucci Mane, Chris Brown, Game, claimed Diddy blackballed him for refusing to give the Bad Boy founder oral sex.

“13 years I’ve been exposing this man #diddy no one believed me till now. At that time when you were my age looking as good as I did s### he wanted my ass, but homeboy didn’t know I don’t get down wit none of that s###,” Prince said.

The mogul had previously vehemently denied assaulting the singer. However, a newly public surveillance video from a Los Angeles hotel appears to show him beating her.

CNN obtained the footage in 2016, which appears to verify claims made by Cassie in a lawsuit from November 2023.

The security footage displays Diddy chasing Ventura down the corridor before grabbing and throwing her to the floor.

As Ventura lay motionless, Diddy kicked her, later returning to hurl objects in her direction.

Slim Thug, who initially dismissed Cassie’s claims after the lawsuit was settled, was forced to rethink his position upon seeing the video.

“Damn Diddy. I tried to ride with the Blk man who had no charges yet but I can’t stand behind this 🤐 I’ll take this But I still will ride with my ppl until I see some sort of proof I don’t believe in blogs or civil suit. Apologies to Cassie and whoever else was on the right side this time,” Slim Thug posted.

Sports commenter Steven A Smith proclaimed that Diddy was career was over after seeing the video.

“The career of Sean ‘P. Diddy’ Combs as we know it is over. This s### is over…it’s over in the worst possible way one of the worst possible ways you can imagine,” Smith said. “Diddy got money…I hope he saved a lot of it…this is bad y’all.”

Emily Ratajkowski, 32, echoed the sentiment with a terse yet powerful comment, simply labeling Combs a “monster.”

“Diddy if this is how you treated someone you “loved” I can only imagine the horrors your enemies/ opposition suffered,’ Claudia Jordan said in a lengthy Instagram post.

The visceral reaction from the public was further fueled by a statement from Cassie’s attorney, terming the footage as “gut-wrenching.”

The lawyer emphasized, “The gut-wrenching video has only further confirmed the disturbing and predatory behavior of Mr. Combs. Words cannot express the courage and fortitude that Ms. Ventura has shown in coming forward to bring this to light.”

Los Angeles D.A. Says Diddy Can’t Be Charged For Cassie Assault

Los Angeles County District Attorney Gil Gascón has responded to a 2016 video of Diddy assaulting Cassie after the emergence of surveillance footage purportedly showing him attacking her in a Los Angeles hotel in 2016.

In the footage obtained by CNN, Diddy is seen in a towel, aggressively grabbing Ventura, throwing her to the ground, and kicking her.

Eventually, he drags her along the floor and hurls objects at her.

Gascón addressed the video’s circulation with evident concern but highlighted significant legal constraints.

“We are aware of the video that has been circulating online allegedly depicting Sean Combs assaulting a young woman in Los Angeles. We find the images extremely disturbing and difficult to watch.”

However, Gascón explained that the timing of the incident prevents prosecution.

“If the conduct depicted occurred in 2016, unfortunately, we would be unable to charge as the conduct would have occurred beyond the timeline where a crime of assault can be prosecuted.”

No case concerning this attack has been presented to law enforcement, but Gascón encouraged victims to report crimes regardless of when they occurred.

“As of today, law enforcement has not presented a case related to the attack depicted in the video against Mr. Combs, but we encourage anyone who has been a victim or witness to a crime to report it to law enforcement or reach out to our office for support from our Bureau of Victim Services,” Gascón said.

Ventura’s November 2023 lawsuit against Combs aligns closely with what the video depicts.

According to her lawsuit, Combs became “extremely intoxicated” and assaulted her, leaving her with a black eye.

Combs has consistently denied any involvement in such acts, but he has yet to issue a statement on the damning video released by CNN.

Slim Thug Apologizes To Cassie For Not Believing Diddy Assaulted Her

In November 2023, Sean “Diddy’” Combs and Cassie Ventura reached an undisclosed settlement after Ventura filed a lawsuit against her ex-boyfriend for sexual and physical abuse. Other alleged victims also sued The Love Album: Off the Grid creator.

Some celebrities and fans still supported Diddy, 54, following the multiple allegations of sexual misconduct. For instance, Houston-bred rapper Slim Thug publicly questioned whether Cassie Ventura lied about Combs raping and assaulting her.

On Friday (May 17), CNN released a surveillance video from March 2016 which apparently showed Diddy attacking Cassie Ventura inside the InterContinental Hotel in Los Angeles. Slim Thug reacted to the footage becoming public in an Instagram post.

“Damn Diddy [man facepalming emoji]. I tried to ride with the [Black] man who had no charges yet but I can’t stand behind this [zipper-mouth face emoji]. I’ll take this L,” Slim Thug wrote.

The 43-year-old “Still Tippin'” performer continued, “But I still will ride with my [people] until I see some sort of proof. I don’t believe in blogs or civil suits. Apologies to Cassie and whoever else was on the right side this time [folded hands emojis].”

In November 2023, Slim Thug apologized for implying Cassie Ventura only sued Diddy to get “the bag” and the Bad Boy mogul did not mistreat her during their relationship. Four months later, Thug called out the Hip-Hop community for not backing the “billionaire” against what he suggested could be a smear campaign.

Unlock the Ultimate Smoking Experience: Infuse Your Own Pre-Rolls

If you’re a cannabis enthusiast looking to take your smoking sessions to new heights, infusing your own pre-rolls is the way to go. They’re the fastest growing pre-roll segment in dispensaries, however the increased potency always comes at an increased price.

But by incorporating potent concentrates like distillate, live resin, hash, and kief into your flower, you can create customized infused pre-rolls at home that deliver an unparalleled punch of flavor and potency.

What are Concentrates?

Concentrates are potent cannabis products created by extracting the best parts of the plant into a concentrated form. Unlike regular cannabis, which typically ranges from 15-30% THC, concentrates can boast mind-blowing THC levels, often reaching up to 90% and beyond.

Popular concentrates for infusing pre-rolls include:

Kief: A simple yet incredibly potent concentrate (that isn’t technically a concentrate) made from loose trichomes knocked off during the sifting of buds.

Hash: One of the oldest concentrates, made by pressing kief into cakes or crumbles.

Rosin: A solventless concentrate made by applying heat and pressure to fresh buds.

Live Resin: Made from fresh-frozen flower for a flavorful, terpene-rich concentrate.

Distillate: A highly potent cannabis oil created using solvents and mechanical equipment to distill cannabinoids to pure THC.

Why Infuse Your Own?

While pre-packaged infused pre-rolls are readily available, making your own offers several advantages:

Cost Savings: Minor concentrate costs versus dispensary upcharges.

Customization: Choose your preferred flower and concentrate combo, as well as your favorite pre-rolled cone.

Extra Potency: Added concentrates deliver a serious punch.

Quality Control: Ensure top-notch flower and perfect packing.

Infusion Methods

There are two main methods for infusing pre-rolls with concentrates like kief, distillate, and other extracts:

External Application

This involves applying the concentrate to the outside of the pre-roll. Usually this means using a food safe brush to paint distillate onto the outside of a completed pre-roll, which will add potency without altering the flavor. Then, the pre-roll is rolled in kief.

While giving the pre-roll a striking and stylish look and certainly delivering an elevated potency, external infusion can result in an excess of side smoke that can sneak cannabinoids away from the user.

Internal Infusion

This means incorporating the concentrate directly inside the pre-roll. The methods include:

Mixing: Blending the concentrate with the ground flower before rolling

Lining: Applying a line of concentrate along the rolling paper before adding flower

Injecting: Using a syringe or tool to inject concentrate into the center after rolling.

Some brands, such as California’s popular Jeeter, use both internal and external infusion methods, so feel free to try that as well. Jeeter uses liquid diamonds, made from concentrated THCa crystallized into semi-transparent structures, melted into oil and then infused with terpenes, to infuse the inside of their pre-rolls before dusting the exterior with kief to add an extra layer of intensity.

However, at home, you can use whatever concentrate you like best to build a bespoke infused pre-roll all your own.

Pre-Roll Expert Pro Tips:

Use a dab mat or parchment paper for easy cleanup of concentrates and oils.

Adjust concentrate viscosity with terpenes or warm with a candle warmer for seamless application.

Use a packing tool, like a wooden tamping stick or even a chopstick, to help ensure an even distribution of concentrate and flower in your pre-roll.

Try the “hash hole” technique by rolling a concentrate snake into the center that will vaporize as the cherry passes, leaving a hole in the center of your pre-roll.

Get Creative

From kief-dusted joints to distillate-lined pre-rolls and everything in between, the options for infusing are virtually endless. Popular brands like Jeeter even use potent liquid diamonds and kief coatings for their signature infused offerings.

Channel your inner cannabis scientist and experiment with different combinations of flower and concentrate to craft the ultimate custom-infused pre-roll experience. With a bit of creativity and the right tools, you’ll soon be enjoying smoky perfection tailored to your exact preferences.

So, what are you waiting for? Gather your pre-roll supplies, master the infusion methods, and unlock a new level of elevated smoking by making your very own infused pre-rolls at home.

Your taste buds (and your high) will thank you.

Mitri Lamar: Miami-Dade’s Enigmatic R&B and Hip-Hop Phenomenon

Few tales in the dynamic world of music, where fresh artists are discovered on a daily basis, have the same profound resonance as Mitri Lamar’s. Even though he admits he was the underdog, Lamar’s story of overcoming adversity and rising to fame in the music industry is an inspiration to tenacity, drive, and self-belief.

A Humble Beginning

Many people could relate to Mitri Lamar’s story, but not everyone has the tenacity to see it through. Lamar was raised in a difficult neighborhood by a loving family, thus his early years were characterized by a lot of opposites. The harsh reality of his living situation created immense challenges despite his family’s support. But these very challenges functioned as the foundation for his creative development, giving his music a genuine, pure emotional tone.

“I’ve really been through struggle and hard times,” Lamar recalls. “I know what it’s like to fail over and over, but I also succeeded because I learned from my mistakes.” This philosophy of learning from failures and turning them into stepping stones is a recurring theme in Lamar’s story. It’s a narrative of overcoming obstacles, one that is deeply embedded in his music, speech, and presence.

How a Musician Begins

Lamar fell in love with music while he was just ten years old. His debut R&B song was recorded when he was fifteen years old, a significant event that established his bright career. For Lamar, music serves as an escape as much as a career. “When I make music, I get to let my thoughts and emotions run through me,” he says. “It gives me a sense of peace, relaxation, and oneness with everything around me.”

This innate devotion to his work is evident in every note he writes and every note he sing’s delivers. He has a strong emotional bond towards what he produces, which can be seen through the goosebumps he gets when listening to tracks. His song is relatable to everyone who listens to it since it is a representation of his journey, his struggles, and his achievements.

Rising to Prominence

Lamar’s dedication to his craft did not go unnoticed. In 2021, he was awarded the “Miami Entertainment Award for Best Male Singer,” a recognition that solidified his place in the industry. This accolade, along with several articles and press features, and the coveted social media blue check verification, are milestones that mark his rise to prominence.

These achievements, however, did not come easy. The biggest challenge Lamar faced was balancing his dual roles as a musician and an ordinary citizen. “The music life is different compared to being a regular person, and it takes money to make money,” he notes. The constant juggling act between funding his music projects and managing everyday expenses taught him invaluable lessons in planning, hard work, and focus.

Words of Wisdom

Through his journey, Lamar has garnered wisdom that he is eager to share with others. “Keep going, love what you do, and achieve despite anyone’s opinion or input on your goals in life,” he advises. This mantra of perseverance and passion is not only reflected in his music but in the way he lives his life.

Lamar’s story is a beacon of hope for many aspiring artists who face similar struggles. His ability to turn setbacks into comebacks is an inspiration, demonstrating that success is not defined by the absence of failures but by the courage to rise above them.

Future Aspirations

Looking ahead, Lamar envisions his brand becoming a staple in the music industry. His dreams and aspirations are driven by both a love for music and a desire to leave a lasting impact. “I see my brand becoming a staple,” he says confidently. “I believe that with hard work and focus, I can gain great notoriety. I do music because I love it, but I’m also trying my best to achieve music accolades and I want to make a mark on the industry.”

This vision is not just about personal success but about contributing to the music landscape in a meaningful way. Lamar’s determination to make his mark is evident in his consistent efforts to produce quality music and his engagement with his audience.

Mitri Lamar’s journey is far from over. From his early beginnings to his current status as a recognized singer/songwriter, his story is one of continuous growth and evolution. As he continues to make music and share his story, one thing remains clear: Lamar’s journey is a testament to the power of resilience, passion, and unwavering self-belief.

His music, infused with the lessons learned from his struggles and triumphs, continues to resonate with a growing audience. Each song is a chapter of his life, a story that inspires and uplifts. As Lamar himself puts it, “Most importantly, I had fun.” This joy and passion for his craft are what make his music so compelling and his story so inspirational.

In a world where the music industry is often dominated by fleeting trends and ephemeral fame, Mitri Lamar stands out as a beacon of authenticity and perseverance. His journey from a rough neighborhood to the limelight is a powerful reminder that true success is earned through hard work, dedication, and an unyielding belief in oneself.

As we look forward to more music and milestones from Mitri Lamar, his story serves as a source of inspiration for all those who dare to dream and are willing to work hard to make those dreams a reality. Lamar’s message is clear: no matter where you come from or what obstacles you face, with passion and perseverance, anything is possible.

Sir Lucian Grainge Pounces On Lil Rod’s Attorney As Diddy Saga Continues

Universal Music Group (UMG) has escalated the legal clash with Rodney “Lil Rod” Jones’s attorney, Tyrone Blackburn, requesting sanctions that could measurably alter the course of the ongoing case involving Diddy.

UMG, in collaboration with Motown Records and UMG CEO Sir Lucian Grainge, seeks judiciary penalties over a series of complaints and motions initiated by Blackburn on behalf of Lil Rod, accusing the music giant and its partners of serious criminal conduct.

In a shocking lawsuit initiated by Lil Rod against Diddy, Blackburn claimed Grainge was complicit in purported sexual misconduct by Diddy.

The lawsuit claimed Grainge frequented Diddy’s home, attended questionable parties and financially supported activities linked to sex trafficking, accusations vehemently denied by Grainge and UMG.

Lawyers for Grainge deem the allegations “blatantly false” and “unsupported by facts,” filing for dismissal on the grounds that there’s no legal basis holding them liable for Diddy’s actions.

Blackburn caved earlier this week and asked the judge to dismiss UMG and Lucian Grainge from the lawsuit entirely, but if a judge sides with the music industry boss, that move could cost the lawyer hundreds of thousands of dollars.

The company asserts that Blackburn’s persistent legal maneuvers have resulted in substantial financial strain.

Donald S. Zakarin, representing UMG from Pryor Cashman, LLP, declared that Lil Rod and Blackburn’s allegations were patently false from the start.

UMG contends that Blackburn’s behavior has wasted considerable time and resources and inflicted significant reputational damage on Grainge.

Zakarin claims that these false accusations necessitated enhanced security for Grainge and his family due to the personal and professional harm caused.

UMG is pursuing sanctions against Blackburn and reimbursement for more than $450,000 in legal fees and related expenses. Zakarin stated these costs could’ve been averted had Blackburn retracted the claims.

“Mr. Blackburn has not only vexatiously multiplied the proceedings in this matter, contrary to his protestations, he has actively self-promoted on social media,” Zakarin said. “Through three complaints, without any basis whatsoever, not legal and not factual, our clients, especially Sir Lucian Grainge, have had their names and reputations dragged through the mud.”

UMG insists that Blackburn’s conduct warrants sanctions to deter future misuse of federal courts.

Cassie’s Husband Warns Abusers In Response To Disturbing Diddy Video

Cassie Ventura’s husband, Alex Fine, shared a letter he wrote about men abusing women on Friday (May 17). Fine published the letter via Instagram after CNN released surveillance footage of Diddy assaulting Cassie at a hotel.

“Wrote this awhile back but the words ring true not just today but every day,” he explained on Instagram. “I want my kids and every kid to live in a world that’s safe for women and girls, protects them and treats them as equals. To the women and children, you’re not alone, and you are heard. if you need help call the domestic violence hotline at (800) 799-7233.”

Fine addressed his letter to “women and children.” He told them, “Men who hit women aren’t men. Men who enable it and protect those people aren’t men.”

Fine offered words of support to survivors of abuse before turning his attention to the abusers.

“To the abusers, you’re done, you’re not safe anymore, you’re not protected anymore,” he wrote. “The men by your side are just as weak, you’re so miserable with yourself that death would be considered a kindness.”

Cassie Ventura sued Diddy for rape, sex trafficking and years of abuse in November 2023. CNN obtained a video corroborating some of Ventura’s allegations. Her lawsuit detailed an incident in which Diddy physically assaulted her at a Los Angeles hotel in 2016. Video of the brutal attack surfaced on Friday.

Footage showed Diddy throwing Cassie to the ground, kicking twice her while she was motionless on floor and attempting to drag her back to his hotel room. Later in the video, Diddy shoved Ventura into a corner and threw what appeared to be a vase at her.

Ventura settled her lawsuit against Diddy out of court. Several other women and producer Lil Rod sued the Bad Boy Records founder after Ventura’s settlement.

Diddy is the subject of a federal investigation into sex trafficking allegations. So far, he hasn’t been charged with any crimes. Read Fine’s letter in its entirety below.

Kendrick Lamar Takes Victory Lap In Drake Beef With $40M Purchase

Kendrick Lamar agreed to pay more than $40 million for a home in the Brentwood neighborhood of Los Angeles. According to the Wall Street Journal, Kendrick is purchasing the 16,000-square-foot house from a trust linked to the Fox Corporation’s former chief legal and policy officer Viet Dinh.

The previous owners paid $19.5 million for the home in 2019. Kendrick will pay more than twice that amount if the deal gets finalized.

Kendrick was prepared to splurge on the Brentwood home months after paying $8.6 million for a Brooklyn duplex. Drake claimed Kendrick lived alone in Brooklyn without Whitney Alford, the mother of K. Dot’s children, on the diss track “Family Matters.”

“Why did you move to New York? Is it ’cause you living that bachelor life?/Proposed in 2015 but don’t wanna make her your actual wife/I’m guessing this wedding ain’t happening, right?/’Cause we know the girls that you actually like,” Drake rapped.

Kendrick one-upped Drake by releasing the diss track “Meet the Grahams” roughly an hour after “Family Matters” dropped. K. Dot added insult to injury by unleashing his song “Not Like Us” the next day.

“Say, Drake, I hear you like ’em young/You better not ever go to cell block one/To any b#### that talk to him and they in love/Just make sure you hide your lil’ sister from him/They tell me Chubbs the only one that get your hand-me-downs/And Party at the party playing with his nose now/And Baka got a weird case, why is he around?/Certified Lover Boy? Certified pedophiles/Wop, wop, wop, wop, wop, Dot, f### ’em up/Wop, wop, wop, wop, wop, I’ma do my stuff/Why you trolling like a b####? Ain’t you tired?/Tryna strike a chord and it’s probably A minor,” Kendrick rapped on “Not Like Us.”

“Not Like Us” debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100. It was Kendrick’s second No. 1 hit of the year and the fourth overall in his career. He previously reached the top of the chart via his guest appearance on Future and Metro Boomin’s “Like That,” which kicked off the battle with Drake.

Yung Miami Under Fire For Diddy Ties After Cassie Abuse Video Surfaces

Yung Miami faced more backlash for her past relationship with Diddy on Friday (May 17). Disturbing footage of Diddy assaulting his ex-girlfriend Cassie Ventura led to social media scrutiny of Yung Miami’s history with the Bad Boy Records founder.

Cassie sued Diddy for rape, sex trafficking and years of abuse in November 2023. The two settled the case out of court, but it was just the beginning of Diddy’s legal problems.

Three more women and producer Lil Rod filed lawsuits against Diddy. The Hip-Hop mogul was accused of sexual assault and trafficking, among other allegations.

Yung Miami was named in Lil Rod’s lawsuit. Lil Rod claimed she was a sex worker for Diddy, whose real name is Sean Combs.

“According to [Lil Rod], Defendant Sean Combs bragged about having several women on a monthly stipend,” the lawsuit alleged. “According to Plaintiff Jones, the women who received these payments are Caresha Romeka Brownlee, aka ‘Yung Miami,’ Jade Ramey, aka ‘Jade,’ and Daphne Joy Cervantes Narvaez, aka, ‘Daphne Joy’ who were paid a monthly fee to work as Mr. Combs’ sex workers.”

Yung Miami previously denied the allegations.

“I’m not a prostitute,” she wrote. “I never sold [cat emoji] a day in my life & I hate how this is getting spun.”

Chatter about Yung Miami’s Diddy ties seemed to die down until the shocking video of him abusing Cassie surfaced on Friday. The footage showed Diddy throwing Cassie to the ground and kicking her at a hotel in 2016.

Yung Miami’s real name Caresha became a trending topic on X (formerly known as Twitter) after the video went public.

Drake Labeled A Fraud While The Weeknd Is ID’ed As Real Toronto “Roadman”

Drake is seemingly being disowned by the city of Toronto, while The Weeknd is being embraced, according to one of the city’s top steppers.

During a recent livestream conversation, the host of the platform invited a man who’s allegedly a respected Toronto Roadman to discuss the rap beef between Drake and Kendrick Lamar. The man, who appears to be an up-and-coming YouTuber who goes by the name Lord Cardiak (@CardiakMax), didn’t hold back at all and started by using Kendrick Lamar’s “Not Like Us” diss as a point-for-point explanation for why Drake is a fraud.

“He’s not like us either,” Lord Cardiak said in part. “This man this is not a real Roadman like we’re talking about Aubrey right now get me. This is not a real Roadman him like them. We we all have an intimidating presence he’s not like us either bro I got to be on record for The Six for The City saying that.”

He continued, likening Drizzy and his situation to deceased Los Angeles Lakers’ legend Kobe Bryant and the rape accusations he stood trial for.

“We accepted him we accepted him because we drafted Kobe Bryant luckily you understand. We we had to push Kobe Bryant even when he had the allegation, he was all we had. We were the Lakers you understand? But not now we believe in trading people as well,” he said.

In another portion of his statement, the man broke down why The Weeknd is considered the more respected artist in Toronto.

“And the real Roadman them Abel, The Weeknd, he’s a real he’s a real rider a real stepper like he’s got really like guys behind him you understand,” he said. “I’m telling you what I know, you feel me? My word is bond. Drake’s not wanted in the city straight up man like that from the road man from the was the biggest we don’t want him here.”

The clip continues and reaches nearly seven minutes in total as the man goes in on Drake, citing him as a fraud and self-snitching appropriators by using his song “Jungle” as evidence.

Like the rest of the world, 50 Cent just saw the surveillance footage of Diddy brutally assaulting his ex-girlfriend Cassie Ventura.

The surveillance footage of Diddy physically assaulting Cassie Ventura was recorded at a hotel in 2016, corroborating some of the allegations in Ventura’s 2023 lawsuit against the embattled entrepreneur.

The video showed Ventura running down the hallway and Diddy following closely behind. Wearing nothing but a towel, Diddy caught up to her by the elevator and dragged her down the hall, viciously throwing her to the ground. He then kicked her twice—hard–and kept trying to pull her back down the hall. Ventura momentarily escaped and picked up a hotel phone only for Diddy to shove her in a corner. At some point, he threw what appeared to be vase while sitting in a chair.

“The gut-wrenching video has only further confirmed the disturbing and predatory behavior of [Diddy],” Ventura’s lawyer Douglas Wigdor said. “Words cannot express the courage and fortitude that Ms. Ventura has shown in coming forward to bring this to light.”

Ventura sued Diddy in a bombshell lawsuit filed last November and settled just one day later. Her attorneys released a statement at the time, explaining, “This evening, Ms. Ventura and Mr. Combs resolved the claims that she filed against him yesterday in the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York to their mutual satisfaction. The parties will have no further statements beyond what is provided in this email.”

Ventura provided her own statement as via email, writing,  “I have decided to resolve this matter amicably on terms that I have some level of control. I want to thank my family, fans and lawyers for their unwavering support.” Diddy also commented, saying, “We have decided to resolve this matter amicably. I wish Cassie and her family all the best. Love.”

People have already started flooding Diddy’s Instagram comments, with remarks like “The irony of you having daughters and beating on Cassie the way you did is crazy. Imagine someone treating your daughter that way. What goes around comes around” and “Seen the assault video. They put the nail in the coffin on you my boy.” Find them below.

Diddy Brutally Assaults Cassie & Kicks Her Motionless Body In Damning Surveillance Video

Surveillance footage of Diddy physically assaulting his ex-girlfriend Cassie Ventura at a hotel in 2016 surfaced on Friday (May 17). CNN obtained video of the incident, which corroborates some of the allegations in Cassie’s 2023 lawsuit against the Hip-Hop mogul.

The video showed Diddy, whose real name is Sean Combs, chasing down Cassie in a hotel hallway. Diddy, wearing nothing but a towel, caught up to Cassie at the elevator doors.

Diddy grabbed Cassie and viciously threw her to the ground. He kicked her twice and attempted to drag her back to his room. Cassie escaped his grasp at some point and picked up a hotel phone. Diddy returned and shoved her in a corner. He hurled what appeared to be a vase at her while sitting in a chair.

Cassie described Diddy’s hotel assault in her bombshell lawsuit, which was quickly settled out of court. According to Cassie, Diddy punched her before the abusive scene captured on video.

“In or around March 2016, during an FO at the InterContinental Hotel in Century City, Los Angeles, Mr. Combs became extremely intoxicated and punched Ms. Ventura in the face, giving her a black eye,” her lawsuit read. “After he fell asleep, Ms. Ventura tried to leave the hotel room, but as she exited, Mr. Combs awoke and began screaming at Ms. Ventura. He followed her into the hallway of the hotel while yelling at her. He grabbed at her, and then took glass vases in the hallway and threw them at her, causing glass to crash around them as she ran into the elevator to escape.”

Cassie accused Diddy of rape, sex trafficking and years of abuse in her lawsuit. The two agreed to a settlement, but Cassie inspired more women to sue the Bad Boy Records founder for sexual assault.

Diddy faced pending lawsuits from three women and producer Lil Rod. Homeland Security raided the embattled executive’s homes as part of a sex trafficking investigation in March.

The devastating storm occurred weeks before hurricane season begins on June 1. Trae and Accuweather’s chief meteorologist Jon Porter, among others, feared the storm was just a preview of the impending hurricane season.

“The bottom line is that this was an extremely dangerous thunder and wind storm that traversed through the most populated parts of the Houston metro area,” Porter told the Houston Chronicle. “It was a truly historic storm that I think is going to be remembered for decades to come.”

He added, “It’s a reminder that we all need to be prepared.”

Damage assessments are ongoing in the Houston area. Houston’s mayor said two people were killed by falling trees. Winds knocked a crane onto a cement truck, resulting in a third death. No details were released about the fourth fatality.
