Kanye West and Bianca Censori are reportedly heading straight toward Splitsville, but are they? They were recently spotted together. But Kim Kardashian has reportedly started talking and she’s getting into the mix.
Kanye is out there reeling from his antisemitic remarks, but Kim is reportedly telling people she and Bianca have linked up? She lawyered up in Los Angeles and has synced her playbook with Kim K’s plans, these people say.
RadarOnline’s got a source that said: “Kim has been waiting for this day.” I wonder what she said to herself after finding out she ran back to Ye? The unnamed source continued, “She knew Bianca would eventually have enough of Kanye’s garbage and want to ditch him, and she’s pouncing on the chance to team up.”
I think this whole thing might be bogus, unless they are playing with Kanye West’s mind. By the way, he’s purported to be mentally challenged…so is that cruel? Anyway, the insider claims Kim is ready to support Bianca if she turns on Ye.
Well, it looks like it could go either way. Kim has her selfish own motives for this, according to the source. She wants sole custody of the four children she shares with Kanye. The source added, “She’s offered to help Bianca escape Kanye’s clutches in exchange for Bianca’s help in getting her sole custody of the kids. Proving that Kanye is unfit is going to be much easier if Bianca spills on his deplorable behavior.”
Wait, all of his antics are not enough information?
I need you all to tell me what you think about this in the comments.
Bianca, when she’s not being displayed mostly naked, has kept a relatively low profile. If a shred of this is true, we could get some real info. I suspect she has an NDA, but we’ll soon see.
Shannon Sharpe is pushing back against a $50 million civil lawsuit filed in Nevada accusing him of rape and sexual misconduct following an accidental Instagram Live broadcast that allegedly led his accuser to cut ties with him.
The complaint also alleges battery, emotional abuse, and unauthorized recording of intimate moments.
Sharpe issued a lengthy statement through his legal team denying all claims and outed his previously unknown accuser as Gabriella Zuniga.
He called the lawsuit a “blackmail scheme” and asserted the relationship was consensual.
“The evidence paints a clear picture: this was a consensual, adult relationship that included role-playing, sexual language, and fantasy scenarios explicitly requested by Ms. Zuniga,” Sharpe’s lawyer, Lanny J. Davis, said in the statement. “Mr. Sharpe categorically denies all allegations of coercion or misconduct — especially the gross lie of ‘rape’ — and will not submit to what he sees as an egregious attempt at blackmail.”
The lawsuit portrays a controlling relationship that began in 2023 after the two met at a Los Angeles gym.
Zuniga, who was 20 at the time, alleges Sharpe offered to “buy her fake t###” if she won a weight-loss challenge. She claims he demanded “complete control over her time and body” and became violent when she tried to leave.
One alleged incident involved Sharpe grabbing her by the neck and threatening her after she shared her location with friends.
“If you ever do that again, I will f###### kill you,” he allegedly said, according to the complaint.
Zuniga says she began distancing herself from Sharpe after a widely circulated Instagram Live incident in September 2024, when Sharpe inadvertently broadcast audio of a sexual encounter with another woman.
At the time, Sharpe claimed his account had been hacked but later admitted throwing his phone on the bed during a private moment, unintentionally activating the livestream.
“It was me being a healthy, active male,” Sharpe said on his podcast Nightcap, calling the incident “embarrassing” and apologizing to his family, employer and audience.
The lawsuit argues that the Instagram Live incident was a turning point. Zuniga claims she tried to end the relationship shortly afterward, which allegedly led to the first of two sexual assaults.
Sharpe’s legal team maintains that Zuniga secretly recorded their encounters and edited the footage to misrepresent the nature of their relationship.
“The edited tape that Ms. Zuniga secretly taped and showed to Mr. Sharpe during her blackmail attempt tries to falsely portray, as a result of this editing and out of context from prior text messages, that the sexual activity was not consensual,” Sharpe’s lawyer Lanny J. Davis added.
The lawsuit was filed by attorney Tony Buzbee, who is best known for representing multiple women accusing Sean “Diddy” Combs of sexual assault, as well as taking a massive loss to JAY-Z.
Sharpe, a three-time Super Bowl champion and Hall of Fame tight end, has continued his broadcasting duties with ESPN and his podcasts Club Shay Shay and Nightcap amid the legal battle.
This is not the first time Sharpe has faced allegations of misconduct. In 2010, a woman named Michele Bundy filed a restraining order accusing him of sexual assault and stalking.
No charges were filed in that case.
Below are some of the wild text messages Shannon Sharpe released to prove his innocence:
“Only if you put that baby gravy in me, then I can do whatever I want to me.” — Text from Gabriella Zuniga to Shannon Sharpe, November 23, 2023
“I wanna put my tongue in your a###### and then marry u.”
— Text from Gabriella Zuniga to Shannon Sharpe, January 12, 2024
“That’s my daddy f### I want u to put a b######## baby in me.”
— Text from Gabriella Zuniga to Shannon Sharpe, August 6, 2024
“You better crave it cuz ur gonna be stuck with it 4 life after you put a b######## baby in me.” — Text from Gabriella Zuniga to Shannon Sharpe, August 11, 2024
Kevin Gates has responded to LeBron and Savannah James after the couple seemingly pushed back on his recent remarks about their relationship.
The Baton Rouge rapper didn’t hold back during an Instagram Live session last week when he criticized Savannah’s demeanor toward her husband.
“I don’t like the way Savannah look at LeBron,” Gates said. “I like the way them white women look at LeBron. Like when soon as he walk out there they just be like ‘Oh, they be dicked out.'”
Gates continued, comparing Savannah to a prison guard, saying, “You act like the warden of the jail, like you came here to police me. You not dicked out like these white women. I just couldn’t do it. It hurt me to see that.”
Despite calling LeBron “one of the greatest players to ever play the game,” Gates said he wouldn’t switch lives with the NBA star because of Savannah’s facial expressions.
“I wouldn’t want to trade places with him,” he insisted. “Because I don’t like the way Savannah look at LeBron.”
LeBron & Savannah James Brush Off Kevin Gates’ Critique
Savannah appeared to respond to Gates on her Instagram Stories. She posted a meme of Nicki Minaj saying, “Um, chile anyways so.”
LeBron followed up with a subtle jab of his own, posting a photo alongside Savannah with the caption, “‘Kings don’t concern themselves with the opinions of peasants.’ Where to next Queen?!?! Let’s get it!”
Gates saw both responses and addressed the situation during an Instagram Live session on Sunday (April 20).
“Sometimes the truth hurts, but it heals,” he said. He then added, “Bron, I love you cuz you my n####,” and implied LeBron’s post was prompted by Savannah’s reaction. Gates claimed LeBron probably agreed with him deep down.
“But anyway, look, long as you being celebrated, I don’t care who don’t like me,” Gates declared. “Long as you being celebrated, that’s all I care about cuz you my n#### and I love you.”
Before signing off, Gates offered some unsolicited advice: “If anybody need, I’m a life coach and a guru y’all 24 hours… You smile at that black man; you smile at him.”
Travis Scott and the WWE are facing intense criticism after the rapper’s title match appearance.
Scott stormed the spotlight at WrestleMania 41 in Las Vegas Sunday night (April 20) by yanking the referee out of the ring during a critical pinfall between Cody Rhodes and John Cena, triggering a wave of backlash from the wrestling community.
The Hip-Hop artist’s interference handed Cena a controversial advantage in the Undisputed WWE Championship match, but the moment didn’t land the way WWE likely hoped.
Instead, it ignited a flood of criticism online, with longtime viewers slamming the cameo as forced and unnecessary.
“Making Travis Scott the ‘big moment’ is what turned a lot of people off,” one user posted bluntly.
Honestly I think if Travis just had came out with Cena at the beginning it would have been way better
But making Travis Scott the “big moment” is what turned a lot of people off
I absolutely hated how they ended the main event. This is a guy that ended the historic title reign of Roman Reigns and the best you had for his title reign ending was a Travis Scott interference ONLY. I mean sure get those mainstream clicks and views but a horrible way to do…
Rhodes didn’t let the interruption slide. In the middle of the chaos, he delivered his signature Cross Rhodes finisher to Scott, briefly neutralizing the rapper before the match continued.
Scott’s appearance wasn’t a one-off. He previously ambushed Rhodes at the 2025 Elimination Chamber and showed up at the Netflix premiere of WWE Raw earlier this year.
But this latest stunt—on the year’s biggest stage—sparked the most intense backlash yet.
Triple H Backs Travis Scott Amid Criticism
At the post-show press conference, WWE’s Chief Content Officer Paul “Triple H” Levesque defended the collaboration and praised Travis Scott’s attitude behind the scenes.
“To me, working with somebody like Travis Scott, who has every reason in the world to walk in with an ego and be the biggest star in music and all that stuff and for him to come in here, and put all that to the side and be a little kid,” Triple H said.
He also hinted that Scott’s involvement with WWE is far from over.
“Could we see him step in the ring? Just gotta tune in,” he teased.
Triple H shared that Scott took the moment seriously and was thrilled to be part of the action.
“The most crushing thing for Travis in the world would be if he went out there and screwed it up. He comes back and he’s like a kid at Christmas, giddy and laughing,” he said. “I don’t think he’ll get upset at this, but he walked to the back, and he said, ‘Dude, I’m serious. This is my full-time job now, I’m telling you,’ and two seconds later, I said, ‘See you at work tomorrow.’ He loves it and to me, that is what this is all about.”
Kanye West has ignited a wave of disbelief after posting a graphic tweet about sexual experiences with a male cousin in his youth and sharing lyrics from a new track titled “Cousins.” The post, shared Monday morning (April 21), included deeply personal details alongside a snippet of the song.
“This song is called COUSINS about my cousin that’s locked in jail for life for killing a pregnant lady a few years after I told him we wouldn’t ‘look at dirty magazines together’ anymore,” West wrote. “Perhaps in my self centered mess I felt it was my fault that I showed him those dirty magazines when he was 6 and then we acted out what we saw.’
“My dad had playboy magazines but the magazines I found in the top of my moms closet were different. My name is Ye and I sucked my cousins dick till I was 14. Tweet sent.”
The tweet quickly went viral, with many users expressing confusion, concern and disbelief. Some interpreted the post as West confronting childhood trauma, while others questioned the motive behind the revelation.
The song “Cousins,” which West previewed in the same tweet, includes explicit lyrics that mirror the content of his post:
“Hanging with my cousin reading dirty magazines/We seen some n##### kiss and we ain’t know what that s### mean/Then we start reenacting everything that we had seen/That’s when I gave my cousin head.”
West shared his concern that “these n##### ’bout to judge me now,” adding, “Told my cousin not to tell nobody (Please, no, don’t tell nobody).”
West also confirmed, “I’m not attracted to a man.”
Kanye West – Cousins
The cousin referenced in the song remains unnamed but is serving a double life sentence for the murder of a pregnant woman at age 17.
The case was featured in Kim Kardashian’s 2020 documentary, The Justice Project.
Shannon Sharpe is facing a $50 million civil lawsuit in Nevada accusing him of rape and emotional abuse during a relationship that allegedly turned violent and coercive.
According to a complaint filed in April 2025, the woman, identified as “Jane Doe,” claims the former NFL star and current media personality assaulted her during two separate incidents in October 2024 and January 2025, per NBC Sports.
In the lawsuit, Doe alleges Shannon Sharpe “raped” her despite her “sobbing and repeated screams of ‘no.’”
“A woman can say ‘yes’ to consensual sexual relations with a man ninety-nine times, but when she says ‘no’ even once, that ‘no’ means no,” the complaint states in part. “Defendant Shannon Sharpe, a man who is accustomed to getting what he wants, completely fails to understand this basic concept. After many months of manipulating and controlling Plaintiff—a woman more than thirty years younger than he—and repeatedly threatening to brutally choke and violently slap her, Sharpe refused to accept the answer no and raped Plaintiff, despite her sobbing and repeated screams of ‘no.’”
The lawsuit also accuses Sharpe of recording their sexual encounters without her permission and sharing those videos with others.
Doe claims she attempted to end their nearly two-year relationship, but Sharpe allegedly “relentlessly pursued” her afterward.
Representing the plaintiff is attorney Tony Buzbee, widely known for his work in the Sean “Diddy” Combs and Deshaun Watson cases, alongside co-counsel Micah Nash.
Sharpe, 55, has not publicly responded to the allegations. The case remains civil, with no criminal charges filed as of now.
Doe accuses Sharpe of assault, sexual assault, battery, and sexual battery, and the intentional infliction of emotional distress. The lawsuit seeks a minimum of $50 million in damages.
Kanye West reignited long-standing tensions with JAY-Z on Sunday by accusing the Hip-Hop mogul of undermining him over a lyric referencing West’s support for Donald Trump on their 2021 track “Jail” and revealed the two nearly scrapped the collaboration over it.
The lyric in question comes from JAY-Z’s verse on “Jail,” where he raps: “Hol’ up, Donda, I’m with your baby when I touch back road/Told him, ‘Stop all of that red cap, we goin’ home.'”
West, who famously wore a red “Make America Great Again” hat during his Trump-era political phase, took offense to the line and claimed it led to a heated dispute between the two longtime collaborators.
According to West, he gave JAY-Z an ultimatum — remove the lyric or be removed from the song entirely.
“Why did Jay Z have to say ‘no red hat’ on Jail,” West posted on April 20. “That s### tore me to my soul. We fought about it and he told me either leave that line on there or take my verse off.”
He added, “Me wearing the red hat was the most stand out example of me going against ‘the program.'”
West also suggested there might have been more to JAY-Z’s criticism, adding, “Do you guys think he was instructed to say that?”
Kanye West Publicly Targets JAY-Z & Beyoncé’s Children
Their relationship, once a cornerstone of 2000s Hip-Hop, has been fractured for years.
Earlier this year, West posted a series of offensive tweets targeting JAY-Z and Beyoncé’s 7-year-old twins.
“Has anyone ever seen Jay-Z and Beyoncé’s younger kids?,” he wrote. “They’re retarded.” In another tweet, he added, “having retarded children is a choice.”
After deleting the tweets, West clarified he didn’t remove them out of remorse. “NOT BECAUSE IM A GOOD PERSON,” he wrote. He followed up with another offensive post: “I TOOK IT DOWN LIKE DOWN SYNDROME GET IT.”
He then escalated the attack further, tweeting, “F### JAY Z AND HIS WHOLE FAMILY ESPECIALLY HIS SHOOTERS.”
West later issued a public apology to JAY-Z, writing, “I’m sorry Jay Z…I be feeling bad about my tweet but I still feel I gave my life to this industry and thought so many people were my family but when I needed family on some real s### none of these rap n##### had my back.”
But just hours later, he reversed course again, posting a vulgar tweet about Beyoncé: “Do Beyoncé ever let Jay get p####? I mean like at least a couple times.”
Blueface has ordered Chrisean Rock out of his Los Angeles home after she revealed her new relationship with college basketball player Tytan Newton, marking the latest chapter in their chaotic breakup saga.
A video posted by the incarcerated rapper’s father, Johnathan Porter Sr., showed Rock’s belongings stuffed into black trash bags scattered across the floor, with Blueface’s father seen removing framed photos of the former couple from the walls.
Porter confirmed the eviction: “Blueface made that call, said ‘Hey, it’s time to go.’ He ain’t playing this time; he is dead serious. Got to pack it up; it’s time to go.”
The eviction comes just weeks after Rock confirmed she had ended things with Blueface in early April, right before releasing her gospel single “Yahweh.”
She said the decision was tied to her personal growth and spiritual journey. “Right before I dropped the single, I broke up with my baby father,” she said. “Then he went buck wild.”
Rock described Blueface’s reaction to the breakup as intense. “He reacted so crazy,’ she recalled earlier this month. “It’s getting to him. So he’s back to unfollowing me.”
Their split has played out publicly, including a tense livestream where Rock put Blueface on speakerphone while he questioned her about spending time with Twitch streamer Deshae Frost.
“I’m not doing nothing; I’m on stream,” she told him, adding, “I’m about to get a tattoo. Deshae Frost first, I’m going next.”
Blueface, who is currently behind bars for a probation violation, has reportedly been monitoring Rock’s social media activity using a burner phone. He accused her of acting like a “pop star” for following people back online.
According to Rock, his controlling behavior and jealousy were dealbreakers. “We talked about this; why are you trying to be messy?” she said.
Chrisean Rock Still Open To Blueface Reconciliation
Despite the drama, Rock said she still has feelings for Blueface but is prioritizing her career and faith.
“I’ve decided to disassociate,” she explained. “To leave that man alone and focus on my career and the purpose Jesus called me for in the first place.”
Still, she left the door cracked open for reconciliation, saying it would only happen if Blueface could “be serious and do it right.”
Their relationship has long been turbulent, marred by public fights, social media feuds and legal run-ins, including Chrisean Rock’s past arrests and clashes with Blueface’s family.
His mother, Karlissa Saffold, has publicly blamed her son for the split, saying he ignored her warnings about Rock.
The former couple shares a son, born in September 2023.
Now, Rock has moved on with Newton, a Morgan State University basketball player.
She made their relationship public earlier this month, posting affectionate photos and videos of them kissing and hugging. One Instagram Story featured the caption: “My babbyyy.”
Megan Thee Stallion shut down Slim Thug’s flirtatious claims after the Houston rap veteran suggested she had a crush on him following her dance-heavy tribute to his music.
During her Coachella set Sunday night (April 20), while performing “Still Tippin‘” — a Houston Hip-Hop classic by Slim Thug, Mike Jones and Paul Wall — Megan paused mid-set to clear the air.
“And no Slim Thug, this don’t mean I want you,” she said playfully. “I just like your music.”
The comment came days after Slim Thug went live on Instagram and interpreted Megan Thee Stallion’s Coachella weekend one performance as the H-town Hottie shooting her shot.
“If that ain’t a ‘I want you, daddy’ call, I don’t know what is,” he said during the April 15 IG Live. “I know she got a crush on me by this point. She danced to two of my songs!”
He also pointed to a past onstage appearance during Megan’s Houston tour stop in June 2024 as further proof.
“She brought me out in Houston. I know she had a crush on me by this point.”
Slim Thug kept the tone light throughout the stream, joking about their hypothetical chemistry and poking fun at his own limitations.
“She a lot of energy. You could tell from the twerking! I can’t pop a Viagra every day! Got damn! But we could have a good time,” he said. “I’ll catch you in the city.”
After some viewers labeled his remarks “cringe,” Slim Thug pushed back, saying he was just giving props to a fellow Houston artist.
“Y’all is cringe. I’m just showing love to a rapper from the city,” Slim Thug insisted, adding “I’m big upping Megan Thee Stallion.”
The rapper has been sentenced to 80 years in prison for the 2017 murder of photographer Mark Anthony Saldivar in San Antonio.
This conviction stems from an incident that happened while Tay-K was already on the run. The “The Race” rapper shot Saldivar in a Chick-fil-A parking lot after the victim refused to give up his backpack. Tay-K was already dodging the law foranother murder and a robbery.
“The sentencing delivered by the jury proves that accountability knows no social status; whether a person is a celebrity or an everyday individual, their actions have consequences,” District Attorney Joe Gonzales said.
“The results of this case reflect our office’s commitment to upholding the law and ensuring that those who repeatedly violate it are held accountable, for the greater good of the community.”
As we previously reported, the 24-year old dodged a capital murder conviction largely because he was 16 at the time of the shooting. This 80-year sentence runs concurrently with the prior 55-year bid he was already serving for his role in the 2016 robbery and killing of Ethan Walker in Fort Worth.
Tay-K became infamous from his song “The Race”, which was recorded while he was fleeing the law. The song peaked at No. 44 on the Billboard Hot 100 and made Tay-K a tragic legend. He even posed with his own wanted poster in the video.
Whether or not he intends to rap behind bars like Tory Lanez has not be revealed.
Kevin Gates and Brittany Renner have gone from internet rumor mill to full-blown relationship! They are publicly flaunting their love and clapping back at critics. Last month, they made a surprise appearance on DDG’s livestream and it has been all gas ever since.
Brittany put this on Instagram: “When Allah places something in your heart, nothing can stand in its way 🦅♥️🤲.” While some fans cheered, but plenty others warned that the rapper might break her lil, ol heart!
Kevin Gates jumped right in, because some said she might hurt him. One person said she may have a hidden motive and he responded, “Motive accomplished 😂.” What does that even mean? Anyway, some said he’s making money off of the situation, but he said that was not the case. By the way, I thought Gates was married.
Weeks back, an apparent ex named Persia claims she was in a relationship with Gates when he went public with Brittany! She even shared a recorded phone call confronting him! This is messy! Kevin has ignored has Persia’s accusations.
The new couple seem to be just fine in all the chaos!
Is this a PR stunt, love story or something else? Brittany and Kevin have everybody talking!
Did I mention, bro is doing some really dope music?
A$AP Rocky addressed a viral moment and offered a direct apology after footage resurfaced of him using a woman’s shoulder to leap over a barricade outside The Carlyle Hotel ahead of the 2023 Met Gala in New York City.
The Hip-Hop artist revisited the incident during Vogue’sLife in Looks video series. In the clip, Rocky explained he was rushing to avoid being late for fashion’s biggest night.
“I was gonna be late for the Met Gala,” he said. “I was trying to get in my room, and this poor young little lady, man, I didn’t even know that I messed up her glasses.”
The moment, captured on video, showed A$AP Rocky pushing through a crowd and stepping on a fan’s shoulder to scale the barricade. The move knocked the woman’s glasses out of place and quickly made the rounds online.
“Again, I apologize. I’m so sorry. I ain’t mean to do that, sweetheart. My fault,” the 36-year-old said in the video.
The woman involved later posted a selfie on X, writing, “A$AP Rocky just literally jumped over me.”
Rocky replied directly to her post, saying, “LOL MY FAULT $WEETHEART.”
She later joked about the interaction, saying, “I’m printing this on a T-shirt,” and added, “Why is A$AP now oomf (one of my friends)?” after discovering the rapper had followed her account.
Rocky attended the 2023 Met Gala with longtime partner Rihanna. He’s set to co-chair the 2025 Met Gala alongside Colman Domingo, Lewis Hamilton, Pharrell Williams and Anna Wintour.
The event, tied to The Costume Institute’s upcoming exhibition Superfine: Tailoring Black Style, is scheduled for May 5.
Serena Williams is stepping behind the camera once again as she signs on to executive produce Carrie Soto Is Back, a Netflix drama based on Taylor Jenkins Reid’s bestselling novel about a driven tennis icon chasing one final comeback.
The streaming giant has picked up the adaptation for development, Deadline reported, with Williams helping steer the project’s creative direction.
The story centers on Carrie Soto, a tennis champion whose ruthless pursuit of victory earned her titles but few allies.
After retiring as the sport’s most decorated player, Soto returns to the court at 37 to protect her legacy when her record is threatened—this time with her father back as her coach.
Though the character isn’t modeled on Williams, Reid has openly credited the Williams sisters as a major inspiration behind the novel.
“My incredible respect for the Williams sisters is part of what makes me interested in tennis,” Reid said in a 2022 interview. “I wouldn’t write a book about tennis without the influence of just the absolute glory that has been their journey, but also specifically Serena’s quest to get as many Grand Slam titles as she has managed to do.”
Williams is no stranger to producing.
She recently led the 2024 docuseries In the Arena: Serena Williams and previously teamed up with her sister Venus to executive produce King Richard, the 2021 Oscar-winning film chronicling their early years under the guidance of their father and coach, Richard Williams.
Netflix has not yet announced a release date for Carrie Soto Is Back.
Ryan Coogler was pulled into a behind-the-scenes meeting on the set of Sinners after Michael B. Jordan made it clear he couldn’t stand the fake blood used in the vampire thriller, which hit theaters Friday (April 18).
Jordan, who plays the film’s twin brothers, Smoke and Stack, didn’t hold back when asked about the gory special effects during a joint interview with Coogler for People.
“I liked the fangs. Fangs were dope,” Jordan said. “The blood was a bit messy and uncomfortable at times. The blood was a lot.”
Coogler, who directed the film and has worked with Jordan on Fruitvale Station, Creed and Black Panther, said the actor’s reaction was so strong it triggered a sit-down with producers.
“I got called into a meeting a few weeks in by my producer and my wife Zinzi Coogler, and she was like, ‘Hey, we gotta talk about Mike,'” Coogler recalled. “I’m like, ‘What? What’s going on?’ And she’s like, ‘The blood — he doesn’t like it.’ I’m like, ‘Wait, what?'”
Jordan clarified he wasn’t trying to stir up drama; he was just venting about the sticky situation.
“First of all, there’s a difference between complaining and venting,” he said with a laugh. “I was just more venting, you know what I’m saying? But they care about me, so they had a meeting. I appreciate the meeting.”
Coogler added that Jordan’s discomfort was obvious during filming.
“I remember some times where I’m like, ‘Okay, action,’ and you’re like, ‘This is disgusting…,'” Coogler said. “Disgusting,” Jordan replied, doubling down.
Sinners marks the fourth collaboration between Coogler and Jordan.
Spike Lee cast Harlem rapper A$AP Rocky as the lead in his upcoming film High 2 Lowest after spotting memes online that compared the Hip-Hop star to Denzel Washington’s son.
During an appearance on the7PM in Brooklyn podcast, Lee explained the moment that sealed Rocky’s casting in the crime drama remake.
“What’s funny is that I was looking at Instagram, four or five years ago, and people were saying that A$AP looked like he’s Denzel’s son,” Lee said. “I seen those memes, and then in the film we used that. A$AP, man, he fire.”
The film, a modern reimagining of Akira Kurosawa’s High and Low, follows a music executive played by Washington who becomes the target of a ransom scheme and is forced into a high-stakes ethical decision.
Rocky stars as Yung Felon, a central figure in the plot, who is seen in the teaser trailer wearing a prison jumpsuit.
High 2 Lowest also features performances from Jeffrey Wright, Ilfenesh Hadera and Ice Spice. The film marks the first time Lee and Washington have worked together in nearly two decades.
Their previous collaborations include Mo’ Better Blues (1990), Malcolm X (1992), He Got Game (1998) and Inside Man (2006).
Baby Tate dropped a bombshell about owing Warner Records $1.5 million while defending her decision to crowdsource $10,000 after her boyfriend’s car was stolen from her parking lot.
The vehicle, affectionately named “Grace,” was taken around 2 a.m. over the weekend.
Security footage confirmed someone drove off with the car, which held sentimental value and hundreds of dollars in clothing.
“This is concerning for SO many reasons but luckily everyone is safe so right now the main focus is getting him back on the road. Please SHARE his gofundme & donate IF YOU CAN! Link is in my story,” the Atlanta-born rapper and singer told her 600,000 Instagram followers.
But when followers questioned why she didn’t just foot the bill herself, Baby Tate clapped back with a financial revelation.
“I literally owe Warner 1.5 million dollars but God forbid I try and help my boyfriend replace his car through community donations Instead of just buying him a new one off the lot!” she replied.
Critics continued to pile on in the comments, prompting the “Pedi” artist to disable replies and respond through her Instagram Stories.
“All I actually asked is for y’all to share. It’s sad that all some of you wanted to share was negativity! Keywords are clearly lost on the community because of poor reading comprehension skills otherwise the ‘donate if you can’ wouldn’t have ruffled your feathers so much. The entire world is experiencing a recession. The greatest power we have as people is coming together as community,” she said.
Baby Tate began producing music at 13 and released her debut project ROYGBIV, in 2015.
She signed with Warner Records in 2021. Since then, Baby Tate has released multiple projects, including her 2023 EP Baby Tate Presents: Sexploration the Musical.
So far, the GoFundMe has raised just over $1,000 of its $10,000 goal.
Offset’s strip club tab is running high and not because of tips or bottle service.
The rapper is trying to wipe out a $232,000 court judgment tied to a 2020 altercation inside a Miami gentlemen’s club.
The Hip-Hop star is asking a Florida court to throw out a default judgment after two men accused him of launching an unprovoked attack in the VIP section of B#### Trap On The River.
The lawsuit, filed in October 2021 by Leamsy Izquierdo and Humberto Crespo, claims Offset “unprovoked, jumped from the elevated area in the VIP section to assault, attack and battery” them.
The incident reportedly began when someone sprayed Cardi B—Offset’s wife at the time—with champagne during a night out in January 2020.
Offset allegedly responded by throwing punches into the crowd, with video footage showing him delivering a “flying punch.”
Izquierdo and Crespo say they suffered serious injuries and emotional trauma from the encounter.
The court awarded them $123,000 and $109,000, respectively, after Offset failed to respond to the lawsuit, resulting in a default judgment.
Offset is now pushing back, arguing he was never properly served with legal documents and has no legal ties to Florida.
His legal team claims the papers were never delivered to him or anyone authorized to accept them. Offset’s motion to vacate the judgment and dismiss the case is pending.
President Donald Trump erupted on Easter Sunday with a string of angry posts on Truth Social, railing against Democrats, President Joe Biden and the judiciary.
The meltdown happened after the Supreme Court temporarily blocked his administration from deporting a group of Venezuelan migrants under the Alien Enemies Act.
The court’s unsigned order, issued late Saturday, paused the removals while legal challenges play out.
It arrives as Trump faces mounting scrutiny over the wrongful deportation of Kilmar Abrego Garcia, a Maryland man now imprisoned in El Salvador despite a court order shielding him from removal.
“Happy Easter to all, including the Radical Left Lunatics who are fighting and scheming so hard to bring Murderers, Drug Lords, Dangerous Prisoners, the Mentally Insane, and well known MS-13 Gang Members and Wife Beaters, back into our Country,” Trump wrote in his opening salvo.
The Supreme Court’s decision drew dissent from Justices Clarence Thomas and Samuel Alito.
It follows a 5-4 ruling earlier this year that allowed the Trump administration to use the Alien Enemies Act for expedited deportations, but only if detainees receive notice and a chance to challenge their removal.
Trump continued his tirade by targeting the judiciary and law enforcement officials involved in the case.
“Happy Easter also to the WEAK and INEFFECTIVE Judges and Law Enforcement Officials who are allowing this sinister attack on our Nation to continue, an attack so violent that it will never be forgotten!”
The legal battle has gained national attention in part due to the case of Abrego Garcia, who was deported in March despite a 2019 court order protecting him.
The Justice Department later admitted the removal was an “administrative error.”
Abrego Garcia, who lived in Maryland for over a decade with his U.S. citizen wife and children, is now being held in El Salvador’s CECOT prison — a facility known for detaining alleged gang members.
The Trump administration has claimed he was affiliated with MS-13, though he has never been charged with a crime in the U.S. His wife and attorney deny any gang ties.
Trump also took aim at President Biden, accusing him of intentionally allowing criminals into the country.
“Sleepy Joe Biden purposefully allowed Millions of CRIMINALS to enter our Country, totally unvetted and unchecked, through an Open Borders Policy that will go down in history as the single most calamitous act ever perpetrated upon America.”
On April 17, Sen. Chris Van Hollen, a Maryland Democrat, visited Abrego Garcia in prison and later relayed a message of support to his wife.
It was the first outside contact Abrego Garcia had since his deportation.
Despite a federal judge ordering the administration to help return him to the U.S., the government has argued it lacks authority to retrieve him from Salvadoran custody.
El Salvador’s President Nayib Bukele has said he won’t release Abrego Garcia, even with U.S. court orders in place.
The federal appeals court rejected a Trump administration request to block the order for Abrego Garcia’s return within the past 72 hours. The standoff with Salvadoran authorities remains unresolved.
Trump closed his Easter rant by again blaming Biden and repeating false claims about the 2020 election.
“He was, by far, our WORST and most Incompetent President, a man who had absolutely no idea what he was doing — But to him, and to the person that ran and manipulated the Auto Pen (perhaps our REAL President!), and to all of the people who CHEATED in the 2020 Presidential Election in order to get this highly destructive M#### Elected, I wish you, with great love, sincerity, and affection, a very Happy Easter!!!”
Tory Lanez has been given a court-imposed deadline to explain his erratic and combative behavior during a deposition tied to Megan Thee Stallion’s $10 million defamation lawsuit. A federal judge is now seeking to determine whether the rapper violated a court order.
Tory Lanez has until April 30 to respond to an order to show cause as to why he shouldn’t be held in contempt for disrupting the April 9 deposition.
The session, conducted via Zoom from the California prison where Lanez is serving a 10-year sentence for shooting Megan in 2020, quickly devolved into a spectacle of sarcasm, personal jabs and evasive answers.
The deposition was part of Megan’s civil suit against YouTuber Milagro Gramz, who she claims spread false and damaging claims about her mental health, sobriety and courtroom testimony.
Megan Thee Stallion’s attorneys allege Tory Lanez and his father helped fund and coordinate the smear campaign from behind bars.
Rather than cooperate, Lanez repeatedly interrupted questioning, mocked the process and fixated on the appearance of Megan’s lawyer, Mari Henderson.
He also challenged the meaning of basic words, including the term “meet,” which he twisted into a bizarre tangent.
“Meat could be a hot dog; meat could be a steak; meat could be red meat… You could watch p###. Meat — meat is a whole thing different over there,” he said.
Henderson and her team eventually ended the session early, calling it “a mockery of the proceedings” and filed a motion to compel Tory Lanez to participate in a second deposition under proper conduct.
The court has now stepped in, demanding Lanez explain why he shouldn’t face sanctions for allegedly violating the prior order that authorized his deposition.
Megan’s legal team must file proof of service by Monday (April 21).
Billy McFarland postponed the much-hyped Fyre Festival 2 after questions about its legitimacy and location stirred confusion among officials in Mexico.
Ticket holders received a notice stating, “The event has been postponed and a new date will be announced. We have issued you a refund. Once the new date is announced, at that time, you can repurchase if it works for your schedule,” according to ABC News.
The reboot of the infamous 2017 disaster was initially scheduled for May 30 to June 2 on Isla Mujeres, a small island off Mexico’s Caribbean coast.
Ticket prices ranged from $1,400 to a staggering $1 million for premium packages.
But the event hit turbulence just days after tickets went live in February. Edgar Gasca, a Isla Mujeres’ tourism office representative, told The Guardian the “event does not exist,” contradicting McFarland’s claims that he had coordinated with local and state authorities.
McFarland, who served time for wire fraud tied to the original Fyre Festival, responded on Instagram, insisting he and his team had “remained in communication with local and state government to ensure full compliance and a successful event that benefits the local economy.”
The original Fyre Festival, promoted as a luxury music getaway in the Bahamas, collapsed into chaos in 2017, leaving attendees stranded and McFarland facing federal charges.
He pleaded guilty and served over four years in prison. No new date has been announced for Fyre Festival 2.
