Keke Palmer Defends Tyler Perry Following Backlash Over Mogul’s Reaction To Criticism Of New Movie

Keke Palmer is going to bat for Tyler Perry after the billionaire movie mogul faced backlash over his reaction to critiques of his latest film Divorce in The Black

Earlier this week, Tyler Perry went viral following his appearance on the “Baby, This Is Keke Palmer” podcast.

“A large portion of my fans are disenfranchised, who cannot get in the Volvo and go to therapy on the weekend,” Perry said on the podcast. “You’ve got this highbrow negro who is all up in the air with his nose up looking at everything.”

Perry urged, “Don’t discount these people and say their stories don’t matter. Who are you to be able to say which Black story is important, or should be told? Get out of here with that b#######.”

However, after Perry faced backlash over his remarks, Keke Palmer took to X (Twitter) to defend him.

“The enemy isn’t Tyler it’s the system that makes it hard for multiple black artist to shine at one time,” Palmer responded to one critic. “Tyler is not the gatekeeper of all black stories he’s just one creative who broke through the system. Advocating for others to do the same is the fight, not hating Tyler for his work that many do love.”

Another user said that Perry refuses to hire writers and releases “the same misogynoiristic b####### movies,” which makes him part of the system.

Palmer pushed back, claiming that Perry “found a way to work in the system.” She also noted the filmmaker “employed a lot of black people, including writers.”

She added, “Not just in front of the camera but behind. His set was the first set I ever saw a black crew, so that gets my respect. You don’t have to love his movies though, I just don’t blame his movies for oppression.”

When her interlocutor claimed Perry has an “audience that’ll always watch, regardless of quality,” Palmer continued her defense. She insisted the prolific creator has switched things up.  Check out her posts below.

Cardi B Checks Candace Owens Over Remarks On Sonya Massey Shooting: “This Could Be You One Day”

Cardi B has called out Candace Owens over her “disturbing” take on the police killing of Sonya Massey, rejecting her claims that the shooting was not racially motivated and insisting that America needs to “wake up” to the reality that the killing of Black citizens at the hands of the police often goes unpunished.

She aired her thoughts on the controversial conservative commentator in an X (Twitter) Spaces chat on Wednesday night (July 24).

“Today she said something so disturbing about the Sonya Massey case,” Cardi B said of Candace Owens. “For you to sit here and say that ‘Oh not everything is racial. I know that this is sad, but this is not something racial. There’s more white people that get killed by the cops.’”

Cardi B was responding to Candace Owens reacting to the shooting on a recent episode of her YouTube show.

“Police officers are human beings, there are mistakes that happen,” she stated. “The idea that now you’re going to use this situation … to then try to make Black Americans believe that this happened simply because she was Black, is pointedly ridiculous.”

Owens went on to urge Black Americans “do not take this bait,” before later claiming “(Unarmed) white Americans are more likely to be shot and killed by police officers … than Black Americans.”

Cardi B Challenges Candace Owen’s Claims That The Shooting Was Not Racially Motivated

However, Cardi B thoroughly rejected Candace Owens’ claims.

“Girl shut up,” she continued. “You don’t feel one little bit of empathy, a little bit of sympathy of how this woman died? There was no argument, there was no conflict, there was no raised voice, and she got shot.”

The “Wanna Be” hitmaker said that the killing could be racially motivated even though Sangamon County Sheriff’s Deputy Sean Graysons never used a racial slur.

“He knew in the back of his head because she was a Black woman that he was going to get away with it. Not only did he think that, but the department thought that because they didn’t tell her son or her father that a cop shot her,” she added.

“It had everything to do with the fact it was because she was Black,” Cardi asserted. “So nobody has to say a racial slur for you to know that it was racially motivated.”

Cardi B then addressed Candace Owens directly, stating, “This could be you one day. And it could be actually worse because you the type of person that if a cop stop you, you would get sassy at the mouth. As soon as you get sassy at the mouth, the muthafucka would shoot your ass.”

Cardi B also dismissed Owen’s claims that President Biden’s decision to issue a statement on the killing was politically motivated.

“What happened to her has nothing to do with this f###### election. It has everything to do with the s### that’s been happening for years in this country,” Cardi said. “There is no justification,” she added. “It was just straight kill. And America has to see that so people can understand why [there is] outrage with cops.”

“Luckily this guy didn’t get away with it but he could have very easily if there wasn’t no bodycam. That’s why America has to see it.”

Earlier in her Spaces chat, Cardi B called out the disrespect and misogyny towards Vice President Kamala Harris.

Cardi B’s response to Candace Owens begins around the 13:00 minute mark in the video below.

Philly Rapper Trizzy215 Emerges With Debut Track “Nevermind”

Hailing from Philadelphia, emerging recording artist Trizzy215 formally introduces himself to a mass audience with the flashy new track “Nevermind.”

Written and produced by Trizzy, his record describes how his hard work and dedication allowed him to live a lavish lifestyle. In the song, he explains that his confidence was his only weapon to overcome adversity since he had no one to turn to.

Being an eligible bachelor, he relishes having beautiful women at his beckoning call, rapping, “You think you’re a bad b*tch / Girl, your type ain’t that hard to find / Curry with the 30, shoot my shot and then a dime/ You be in the DM, playing games and wasting time / I be in the stu, I got per diem on my mind.”

The emerging artist exhibits a nonchalant attitude blended with playboy rhymes that are heavily trendy in today’s hip-hop. A casanova, Trizzy concludes the track with carefree bars about his plethora of women, perfect for the summertime fling.

He raps: “I’m feeling her energy / I think she feeling mine / She said: ‘She not new to this, she do this all the time’ / And she only wants one night, I think this girl is my type / I’m hit little shorty then rewind / Reminsciening about little shorty I hit last night / I call her up / ‘Girl I got that pu**y on my mind / And she, ‘Trizzy, I love you’ / So I told her, nevermind.”

As a musician, Trizzy215 has faced many challenges along the way. The hardest lesson he’s learned is patience—understanding that not every song will be a hit and that creative ideas don’t always come easily. He has never wavered in his dedication to his craft.

Live performances in front of an audience are among his most impressive achievements. Knowing that strangers appreciate his work fuels his drive to keep performing and reaching new heights in his career.

“Nevermind” is a great starting point for new fans of the Philly artist as he gears up a forthcoming album in early 2025. More fresh music is expected in 2024.

“Nevermind,” available everywhere, is released on an independent imprint.

Feel free to stream the latest track below and follow the recording artist on social media afterward.

NLE Choppa Evolved: From LGBTQ+ Love To Acting Ambitions To Close Family Ties

NLE Choppa has re-risen. He’s morphed from a gun-toting trapper to a spiritual woke, s###-loving savant. AllHipHop first interviewed the Memphis, Tennessee rapper as a teenager shortly after releasing “Shotta Flow.” But now, much has changed. He’s a father and almost 22 years old.

AllHipHop‘s Chuck “Jigsaw” Creekmur recently caught up with NLE Choppa, who talked about his burning desire to delve into acting and fashion. He also expresses gratitude for his success and credits his faith in God for his achievements. With much in the tank, he and his team are pushing it to the limit.

AllHipHop: Yo man, I just want to congratulate you on all your success. We were with you very early in your career.

NLE Choppa: Caught me at 16, 17.

AllHipHop: Crazy. That was a fun ride though. So I wanted to ask you, how is it being now a superstar coming from then? How do you feel about that? Because it was a vision at one point and now it’s manifested.

NLE Choppa: It is going crazy right now. I think controversy always seals, but the most important thing that I kept in the back of my mind, in front of my mind, middle of my mind was God is always willing, put all my trust in my faith within him. And we made it happen.

AllHipHop: Now you did an interview with us with your mom a couple years ago and it gave us our biggest numbers ever. And everybody loves it even to this day, but it’s really dope seeing you with your parents on stage, active and that’s something that everyone is seeing. How does that work for you and what made y’all make that so important?

NLE Choppa: It was nothing but just doing what we always did. Just always staying family oriented and just keeping it and holding it and valuing it in today’s life with what we got going today.

AllHipHop: And your father is up there dancing with you. How is it breaking into these new things that you’re into? You’re acting now, you have some films in the works. Can you talk about that?

NLE Choppa: Man, that s### feel good by the time they let a real n#### on that camera. You feel me?

AllHipHop: What’s your ideal role?

NLE Choppa: I want to do an autobiography. I want to play somebody. I want to be able to have that person look at something and feel really honored with my work. For real.

AllHipHop: Do you have someone in mind?

NLE Choppa: Nah.

AllHipHop: Let me think about that. What about Will Smith maybe?

NLE Choppa: That’d be hard. That’d be hard (great). I’d have to tuck these tattoos. That’d be hard.

AllHipHop: Yeah, they could airbrush that out. Easy work. What about your shoe line? You have a line of shoes.

NLE Choppa: Duck boot on. Duck boot out, sold out all that. I’m ust trying to be a big stepper in the fashion world. Just trying to show that off. Yeah, man. Just trying to show my my range, show my versatility. You feel me?

AllHipHop: So “S### Me Out” is out now. The thing is, I appreciate that you didn’t reject the LGBTQ+ community.

NLE Choppa: I love them. They show me love. I’m going to show love back.

AllHipHop: Well, now what makes you do that? When oftentimes in rap, especially, that can be rejected. You know what I mean?

NLE Choppa: I don’t give a f#ck who give a f#ck. You know what I’m saying? Just because they walk a different light, walk a different life, don’t mean that I am supposed to hate it. Let them do what they do, bro. Shout out to (LGBTQ+), you feel me?

AllHipHop: Tell us about what you’re going to bring to the stage.

NLE Choppa: Hey man, I’m going to bring a whole lot of energy, a whole lot of sexy s###. Whole lot of s####. The b######, they popping out. We having fun and we going to do it like that and yeah, that what we doing. I’m bringing a whole different type of energy to the stage. I’m going to grasp it. I’m going to kill it. And when you see it, it’s going to be something magnificent.

AllHipHop: What advice would you give somebody else who’s struggling to get through to that level of consciousness that you have?

NLE Choppa: Pray for him. Pray prayer. Stay deeply rooted in prayer. Just move how God would you think? You think God will just be on earth, “I don’t like gay people” Yeah. What? God is love.

AllHipHop: Alright man. Well, I want to ask you one more question about your evolution. When I first interviewed you, you had guns in the camera. Can you talk about that evolution and not getting stuck in that style of rap?

NLE Choppa: I don’t know. I’m always ready for room for growth just to have growth. You feel me? That’s about it.

Chris Brown Threw First Punch In Backstage Brawl, Security Guard Claims In Second Lawsuit

Chris Brown and Yella Beezy are reportedly facing a second lawsuit relating to an alleged altercation backstage at a Fort Worth concert after a security guard sued for $15 million over injuries he claims to have sustained while stopping the brawl.

Rolling Stone reports legal documents reveal that 58-year-old security guard Frederick R. Overpeck was working at the Dickies Arena in Ft. Worth on July 20. He was tasked with providing security for the backstage meet-and-greet, the scene of the alleged fight, which Overpeck described as a “prison yard beat down.”

According to court documents, Chris Brown ordered Yella Beezy and other members of his crew to attack the four men suing the pair, leading the attack by throwing the first punch. The suit alleges Overpeck tried intervening, but he was thrown to the side.

Overpeck’s attorney, Tony Buzbee, also represents the plaintiffs in the original complaint.

Lawsuit States Chris Brown & Others Continued Attack After Security Guard Intervened

“This was an unprovoked attack and Chris Brown not only directed it, he threw the first punch,” Buzbee told the publication. “We will use the full force and weight of the court system to obtain justice here.”

In his lawsuit, Overpeck recalled one of the plaintiffs, Larry Parker, tried to escape but was blocked by a locked door.

“Plaintiff, attempting to do all he could to prevent the violence, got himself in between the victim Parker and most of the attackers,” the suit reads.

However, the alleged attackers, including Brown, did not stop the beating. The suit states the group continued to kick and stomp Parker, severely injuring Overpeck in the process before he was able to help Parker escape.

According to the complaint, Overpeck sustained multiple injuries and was signed off work for  “a severely injured hip, but also a diagnosed cracked vertebrae in his neck.”

The new lawsuit names Brown, Yella Beezy and other members of his entourage alongside Live Nation as defendants. Overpeck reportedly seeks $15 million in damages, citing assault and battery, negligence/gross negligence, and intentional infliction of emotional distress.

Overpeck’s complaint follows the original $50 million suit, filed by Parker and three other plaintiffs.

Throughout July, Lanez has been dropping previously unreleased music recorded in the years before he went to prison.

However, on Wednesday (July 24), Tory Lanez announced he’s figured out how to make recording studio-quality music from behind bars. His Instagram account posted a jail call from Lanez detailing the plan.

Cardi B Enraged By “Disgusting” Disrespect Toward Kamala Harris, Slams “Hawk Tuah” Girl Comparison

Cardi B is incensed by the disrespect directed at Vice President Kamala Harris on social media and on the news.

The NYC rapper went on a passionate tirade during a Twitter Spaces chat on Wednesday night (July 24), blasting the blatant misogyny towards Harris and vehemently rejecting the narrative that the Vice President “slept her way to the top.”

“I always knew how people are when it comes to women but the disrespect?” Cardi exclaimed. “Let me tell you something, if you don’t like her as a politician, that’s you. But the disrespect that she’s getting, all because she’s a woman, it’s very disgusting.”

Cardi even questioned her recent declaration that she’s not a feminist after seeing the misogyny Harris is being subjected to.

According to Cardi B, whether a woman wears “Three-inch heels with a suit like Kamala Harris,” or “always showing her ass off,” like a stripper, “men are always gonna blame your success on your p####.”

She continued, “What, she f##### Joe Biden? She f##### whole democratic party? That the whole democratic party decided that this woman was good enough to be a vice president and eventually a good president.”

Cardi B then turned her ire to conservative author Alec Lace, who sparked outrage after referring to Kamala Harris as the “original Hawk Tuah” girl during an appearance on Fox News.

“I feel like muthafuckas feel so comfortable in disrespecting women,” she said. “That s### makes me like her. Like the way that y’all disrespect her as a woman, it makes me like her.”

Cardi added, “If you can disrespect a woman like that, I can only imagine what you think about a woman like me.”

Cardi B’s defence of Kamala Harris begins around the 3:00 minute mark in the video below.

50 Cent Calls For Removal Of NY Judge Who Threatened To Shoot Black Teens At Party

50 Cent is calling for action after a New York state judge threatened to shoot Black teenagers at a high school graduation party.

Earlier this week, police bodycam footage of the incident was released following an investigation. Videos show State Supreme Court Justice Erin Gall telling the Black teens to leave the party following a scuffle over uninvited guests.

She tells them, “You’re not going to find your keys. You got to call an Uber and get off the property.” Gall added, “You’re going to get a cop escort home.”

Gall also tried to get cops to arrest the Black teenagers for trespassing. “I’ve done this for a million years,” she said in the video. “I’m a lawyer. I’m a judge. I know this.”

She also says if the teens returned for their keys, “you can shoot them on the property. I’ll shoot them on the property.”

50 Cent Calls For Action

50 Cent was outraged by the judge’s behavior. On Wednesday (July 24) he took to Instagram with a new report featuring body-cam footage of the incident.

“SMH she should be removed,” he captioned the post. “This is bad. Repost this video.”

A judicial watchdog panel ruled Gall should be removed from office. The panel said Gall “repeatedly invoked her judicial office,” while attempting to get the Black teens arrested.

The State Commission on Judicial Conduct issued its report on Monday (July 22). The report recommended the judge’s dismissal and found Gall “created at least the appearance that she harbored racial bias,” during the incident on July 1, 2022.

“Her wide array of misconduct severely undermined public confidence in the judiciary and in her ability to serve as a fair and impartial judge,” the commission said.

Gall’s attorney, Robert Julian, reportedly vowed to challenge the decision in the Court of Appeals, per CBS News. Meanwhile, Gall is suspended with pay on an annual salary of $232,600.

Iggy Azalea Claims She’s “Only Parent” To Her Son With Playboi Carti

Iggy Azalea is opening up about her relationship with her son’s father Playboi Carti, claiming she’s the only parent in their son’s life.

The Australian artist previously described her relationship with the rapper as “volatile.” According to Azalea, she left when their son Onyx was just three weeks old because she wanted to break the “toxic cycle.”

During the latest episode of the Dinner’s On Me podcast Iggy Azalea referred to herself as a “single mother,” and said there’s no co-parenting arrangement.

“I’m very much the only parent, no disrespect, but yes, I am not co-parenting really, and that’s just the reality of it,” she explained.

Later in the podcast, Azalea said her priorities have shifted to center around her four-year-old son.  “I no longer want to be traveling around everywhere. I want to take my son to school,” she said, adding, “I want him to have memories with me and give him that time. It’s really important to me.”

Iggy Azalea Didn’t Want Their Son To Be Exposed To Volatile Relationship With Playboi Carti

Last February, Iggy Azalea shed light on what led to her split from Playboi Carti. According to the “Fancy” hitmaker, she upped and left one day following a dispute and never looked back.

“I had something happen one day with my son’s father and me and it was just like one of those moments where you’re just like, I didn’t wake up thinking this is what my day would be,” Azalea recalled. “But by the end of the day, I was on a plane to Los Angeles and I never went back. And that was the end of it.”

She added, “In that moment that I had on that day, I was like, ‘I will never let my son see this because I don’t want him to see someone talk to me this way, ’cause I don’t want him to ever learn this, I don’t want him to be exposed to this.’”

Wiz Khalifa Reacts To Uncensored Amber Rose & Joseline Hernandez Fight Footage

Wiz Khalifa was unaware his ex-wife and son’s mother, Amber Rose has hands!

On Wednesday (July 24) uncensored footage of the fight between Amber Rose and Joseline Hernandez on BET College Hill: Celebrity Edition surfaced online. While the episode featuring the clip aired last year, the actual fight was never broadcast.

Clips of the moments leading up to the fight have been going viral recently following Rose’s support of Donald Trump. In the episode, Hernandez accused Rose of wanting to be a white girl and refusing to embrace her Blackness.

In the uncensored footage, Amber Rose swings on Joseline Hernandez and lands several more blows before they’re pulled apart.

“Damn,” Wiz Khalifa wrote, reacting to the clip on Instagram. “My BM got squabbles.”

Both women spoke about the fight before the video surfaced online. Hernandez refused to name names when she discussed the altercation on Drink Champs last year. The reality TV star claimed a woman tried to “attack her” but she put her “head through that glass.”

During an Interview with Jason Lee, Amber Rose said she had to hit Hernadez “with a eight-piece” after she called her “white girl.”

Amber Rose faced intense criticism after her speech at the 2024 Republican National Convention earlier this month. Her support for Donald Trump raised eyebrows following her women’s rights activism and work championing the s### walk. She also previously branded Trump a “sexual predator.”

Travis Scott Could Be Working With Lamborghini After Besting Taylor Swift’s Ticket Sales In Italy

Travis Scott and his Cactus Jack imprint could be joining forces with Lamborghini for a collaboration, according to multiple sources.

Rumors of the potential collab began swirling after Scott’s massive show in Milan, where at least 80,000 fans attended his Circus Maximus Tour. Additionally, video emerged of what appears to be a group of Lamborghini factory workers swarming the “Meltdown” rapper and snapping selfies with him inside of a what looks like a factory facility.

Scott also posted a photo of what can only be described as the section of an assembly line where door panels are assembled to his Instagram Story with the caption, “Momma I made it.”

While there are no details on what the collaboration could exactly entail, it seems like the timing is perfect considering Scott has also now reportedly sold more tickets in Italy than Taylor Swift. Multiple reports confirm he’s sold as many as 200,000 tickets to date, which makes him the first American rap artist to sell 200,000 tickets in a year across three shows in Italy.

Scott is currently in the midst of the 2024 Europe/UK leg of his record-breaking Circus Maximus Tour, which also blazed through 44 sold-out dates across North America in 2023 and early 2024. It also became the highest-grossing rap tour in the process. The tour has since gone on to gross nearly $27 million, with more than 270,000 attendees across the first 11 dates of the Europe/U.K. leg.

Travis Scott announced even more dates for his record-breaking Circus Maximus Tour following his insane show in Milan. Of the dates he announced, a special one-night-only show in New Jersey at MetLife stadium appears to be one of the final dates of the tour in the U.S.

Check out the post above for a closer look at what sparked the rumors of the Cactus Jack and Lamborghini collaboration.

EXCLUSIVE: Inside Source Refutes Claim Diddy Hired Tupac Shakur’s Assassin

Sean “Diddy” Combs continues to confront old allegations about conspiracy in Tupac Shakur’s 1996 murder, claims which sources close to the investigation dismiss as baseless.

Those close to the ongoing trial of Duane “Keefe D” Davis have blasted a new report from the U.S. Sun claiming that Diddy ordered the assassination of Tupac Shakur.

According to the story, Diddy was implicated in new court documents for allegedly paying $1 million to Davis, who was arrested last year in connection to the killing. However, a source closely involved in the investigation disputes these new allegations, maintaining that no new evidence has been presented and that there’s no ongoing inquiry implicating Diddy.

The anonymous source claims “any suggestion of an indictment for Mr. Combs is irresponsible and unfounded.”

Diddy has never been a suspect and the recent claims are seen as inconsistent and lacking in credibility. The source added, “The notion that prosecutors have evidence that Diddy paid Davis is categorically false and defamatory.”

However, claims against Diddy have resurfaced periodically over the years. After a 2008 Los Angeles Times article implicating him—which was later retracted due to unreliable sources and fake FBI documents—Diddy emphatically denied he had anything to do with the murder.

“This story is beyond ridiculous and completely false,” Diddy previously told AllHipHop‘s Founder, Grouchy Greg Watkins. “Neither Biggie nor I had any knowledge of any attack before, during or after it happened. It is a complete lie to suggest that there was any involvement by Biggie or myself.”

The persistent rumors are seen as attempts to tarnish Diddy’s reputation rather than bring new facts to light.

“There is no new or active investigation involving Mr. Combs, and these allegations have been thoroughly debunked over the past three decades,” the source emphasized.

The accusations against Diddy stem largely from the statements of Davis, who has a long history of discussing his criminal activities, including in a 2009 police interview. His reliability as a witness has often been called into question.

Boosie Badazz Calls Federal Prosecutor “Racist” After He’s Indicted On Same Felony

Boosie Badazz’s legal troubles appear to have resurfaced, despite a federal judge’s dismissal of his felony gun case just weeks ago.

The Baton Rouge rap veteran has found himself in legal turmoil once again, except this time while on vacation with his family, Boosie received unexpected news from his lawyer about a new indictment. According to Boosie, the indictment comes from federal prosecutor “M. Wheat” who had previously charged him with the same felony gun possession that was dismissed by a federal judge. In a lengthy tweet, Boosie expressed his disbelief and frustration with the new indictment.

“I’M ON VACATION WITH MY FAMILY MY LAWYER CALL ME N SAY THIS FEDERAL PROSECUTOR M. WHEAT HAS INDICTED ME AGAIN ON THE SAME CHARGE N ADDED A CHARGE THAT I WAS A DRUG ATTACK AROUND,” Boosie Badazz stated. “A ATTACK AROUND A FIREARM SMH.”

Boosie then questioned the timing and motivation behind the new charges. He also went a step further and accused the prosecutor of being racist and having a personal vendetta against him, describing it as an attempt to hinder a successful Black man with a voice.

“WHY YOU DIDNT CHARGE ME WITH THAT THE FIRST TIME?” he wrote. “THE JUDGE HAS RULED. AT THIS POINT YOU MAKING THIS A CIRCUS. THIS HAS TO BE UNCONSTITUTIONAL. THIS SHOWS HOW FAR THESE DEVILS WILL GO TO TRY N STOP A SUCCESSFUL BLACK MAN WITH A VOICE. THIS MAN HAS A SERIOUS VENDETTA OF HATE AGAINST ME.

“HE WANTS TO BE A CHARACTER N A FILM. HE JUST DOESNT RESPECT THE COURTS. HE RACIST N HAS NO RESPECT FOR THE COURTS‼️IF I WASNT BOOSIE THIS WOULD NOT BE HAPPENING TO ME.”

Boosie also shared a startling anecdote about his first court appearance, remarking, “THIS SAME MAN LOOKED AT ME SAID ‘WIPE ME DOWN’ ON MY FIRST COURT APPEARANCE lol HES OBSESSED. IVE NEVER SEEN NOTHING LIKE THIS N MY DAM LIFE.”

A post shared by AllHipHop (@allhiphopcom)

Boosie Badazz concluded by reflecting on the recent turn of events, which he believes he will persevere through the strength of God.

“30 of us ON VACATION N I GET THIS NEWS ‼️” he wrote. “HE PUT HIS HARDEST BATTLES ON HIS STRONGEST SOUJAS ‘GOD GOT ME’. THIS MAN DOSENT RESPECT THE LAW. TELL A PRESIDENT PARDON THIS B####### #justiceforboosie.”

The origins of Boosie Badazz’s legal troubles trace back to earlier this year when he was arrested for possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. The case was dismissed by a federal judge, which Boosie believed had put an end to the matter. However, the new indictment suggests otherwise, adding a charge related to drugs in proximity to a firearm.

The rapper’s legal battles are not new. Boosie Badazz, whose real name is Torrence Hatch, went to prison in 2009 on drug charges, including third-offense possession of marijuana. In 2011, he was additionally charged with first-degree murder, but he was acquitted in 2012.

He remained incarcerated for his drug charges until his release in March 2014. During his time in prison, he faced various other charges related to drug smuggling, which were eventually dropped.

Tink Addresses Working On “Winter’s Diary 5” Album With Hitmaka Amid Tumultuous Break Up

Tink has opened up about the process of crafting her latest album with Hitmaka following their public breakup last year.

During her recent interview with The Breakfast Club on Power 105.1 FM, the “Playa” lyricist spoke in depth about her relationship with Hitmaka. For context, Tink was accused of physically abusing Hitmaka last year after alleging he had abused her, as well.

The pair were also allegedly involved in an altercation in Mexico after they reportedly showed up to the same restaurant in Cancun, unbeknownst to each other. Tink started off by explaining how there was much more at stake than just their shared personal lives at the time of the breakup, revealing they were actually legally binded at the point they decided to separate.

“Yeah, I had to take the emotion out of it, and we were already in a contract, so there were obligations, and that’s what I think the world doesn’t know,” Tink said. “We already had ties and things were already in motion. So like I say, it took a lot of maturity to say, ‘Hey, I’m going to go in this booth. I’m going to do my best today.’

“You know what I’m saying? Whatever I can give. If it’s 10 percent, 20 percent, that’s the best I can give. And that’s also why it did take some time. I needed time away to get my mind together. I can’t look at you today. I can’t be around you listening to what you want to say right now.”

Tink then debunked the idea that the album itself was solely about Hitmaka, explaining that while some of the subject matter may relate to their relationship, it’s meant to be widely accessible to people at large who may be dealing with similar relationships.

“I feel like the entire album is, could relate to him or to any man,” she said. “You know what I mean? I purposely waited to drop this album so that it wasn’t 14 songs about one person.

“But in this situation, if you know our history, we went through a lot of turmoil. So there’s a bit of him in a lot of these records, and he knows that we worked on the album together,” she added.

Tink went on to reveal that the process of refining the album itself was difficult at times, remarking it “took a lot of maturity for me to get in that booth and for us to come to agreement on these songs.” She added, “We had hard days where he had to walk out. That’s just what it is.”

Overall, Tink went on to conclude that she is trying to move on at this point, but wholeheartedly wishes the best for Hitmaka and said that she really does “wish him the best” but truly needs to move forward.

On the other hand, Tink is had a lot to talk about between discussing Winter’s Diary 5 features, which include collaborations with artists like Summer Walker, Jeremih, Skilla Baby and NoCap and notable singles “Songs About U” and “Charged Up.” Tink is also currently supporting Jhené Aiko on her Magic Hour Tour, which began in June and concludes in August, and features Coi Leray, Kiana Ledé and UMI.

Wiz Khalifa’s girlfriend Aimee Aguilar gave birth to a baby girl named Kaydence. Aguilar disclosed their daughter’s birth in a TikTok video posted on Tuesday (July 23).

“I gave birth exactly a week ago today, so I am a week postpartum,” she said.

Aguilar revealed her daughter’s arrival in a “postpartum stomach update.” Wiz Khalifa’s girlfriend told TikTok viewers she was still taking it easy after going through labor.

“I ended up tearing,” she said. “So during my pregnancy, or during the labor, and I pushed her out, I tore. So, I have stitches down there, so I think I’m going to wait another week or two before I start doing anything strenuous on my body.”

Wiz Khalifa and Aguilar welcomed their baby girl within days of his arrest for smoking weed on stage at a music festival in Romania. Recreational use of cannabis is illegal in the country. He apologized via social media on July 14.

“Last night’s show was amazing,” he wrote on X (formerly known as Twitter). “I didn’t mean any disrespect to the country of Romania by lighting up on stage. They were very respectful and let me go. I’ll be back soon. But without a big ass joint next time.”

Wiz Khalifa’s baby girl is his second child. He shares a son with his ex-girlfriend Amber Rose.

Rose recently stoked controversy by publicly supporting Donald Trump. She spoke at the Republican National Convention in Milwaukee on July 15.

PnB Rock Murder Trial: Defense Attempts To Put Full Blame On Teen Shooter

Los Angeles County jurors heard opening statements in the PnB Rock murder trial on Tuesday (July 24). The jury will decide whether Freddie Trone and Tremont Jones were responsible for the late rapper’s 2022 shooting death.

Trone’s son, the alleged shooter, will be tried separately due to his age. He was 17 years old at the time of the deadly incident. According to Rolling Stone, he is scheduled for a competency hearing in juvenile court on Friday (July 26).

Prosecutors claim Jones tipped off Trone to PnB Rock dining at Roscoe’s Chicken ‘N Waffles in South Los Angeles on the day of the shooting. Trone allegedly drove his son to the restaurant and sent the teen inside with a gun to rob the rapper. The gunman fatally shot PnB Rock before fleeing the scene. Trone attempted to torch and ditch the getaway car.

Trone pleaded not guilty to murder, robbery and conspiracy to commit a felony. His attorney conceded he was guilty of accessory after the fact but placed the rest of the blame on Trone’s son.

“You will hear no evidence that he planned this with his son,” Trone’s lawyer Winston McKesson told the jury. “That he instructed his son to do this or he egged him on. They will have evidence that my client did help his son cover this up. We’re not disputing that. What we’re saying is the gunman acted alone.”

Jones pleaded not guilty to robbery, conspiracy and being a felon in possession of a firearm. His lawyer raised questions about the prosecution’s evidence against Jones.

“All of this is guesswork,” Jones’ attorney Davis Haas argued. “All guesswork, and when you can’t put your finger on specific words or specific actions, we call that a finding of not guilty.”

Trone’s wife Shauntel avoided trial by accepting a plea deal. She was charged with accessory after the fact for her role in PnB Rock’s death.

Donald Trump Had Ridiculous Plan To Unify America With Kanye West’s Help

Alyssa Farah Griffin, former White House communications director during Donald Trump’s administration, recalled one of his more foolish ideas as president on Bravo’s Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen. Farah Griffin said Trump once pitched a Kanye West-led church service on the White House lawn to unite America.

“This is gonna be dark,” Farah Griffin explained. “To be honest, one day, he wanted to have Kanye West come and do a church service on the White House lawn to unify the country. And I can think of few things less unifying than that. We were like, ‘Not the time or place, sir.’”

Trump is running for president once again. If he wins, he will be the first convicted felon to be elected president. The Republican candidate was found guilty of 34 counts of falsifying business records in May. His sentencing was delayed until at least September.

President Joe Biden was seeking re-election before dropping out of the race on Sunday (July 21). He endorsed Vice President Kamala Harris for the Democratic nomination.

“My fellow Democrats, I have decided not to accept the nomination and to focus all my energies on my duties as President for the remainder of my term,” Biden said. “My very first decision as the party nominee in 2020 was to pick Kamala Harris as my Vice President. And it’s been the best decision I’ve made. Today I want to offer my full support and endorsement for Kamala to be the nominee of our party this year. Democrats — it’s time to come together and beat Trump. Let’s do this.”

Trump attacked Biden and Harris on Truth Social.

“Joe Biden will go down as the Worst President in the history of the United States,” Trump wrote. “KAMALA, OUR HORRIBLE & INCOMPETENT BORDER CZAR, WILL BE WORSE!”

He added, “Does Lyin’ Kamala Harris think Joe Biden is fit to run the U.S.A. for the next six months? She must answer the question. Now it appears Joe is delegating his Presidential Authority to unelected Washington Bureaucrats! He doesn’t even trust his Vice President. WHO IS RUNNING THE COUNTRY?”

Harris has not been officially nominated as the Democratic candidate for president. The nomination process will conclude at the Democratic National Convention in August.

Fivio Foreign Denies Unfollowing Pop Smoke & Charging His Older Brother $10K For Interview

Fivio Foreign is clearing the air regarding allegations that he attempted to charge Pop Smoke’s brother thousands of dollars to do an interview for his podcast.

During a recent Instagram Live, Fivio responded to fans commenting with questions regarding his late rap associate Pop Smoke while previewing several unreleased records. Among the topics he addressed, one in particular stood out, considering it involved disparaging allegations about Fivio from a man claiming to be Pop’s brother.

More specifically, Pop’s older brother Obasi Jackson recently shared a video on TikTok in which he claimed the “City Of God” rapper attempted to charge him $10,000 to do an interview with his podcast Free Mind TV. Though Fivio did not address Jackson by name, he did briefly speak on the allegation against him by aggressively deading off the conversation before it even started.

“Don’t come over here asking me about no goofy Pop Smoke brother that muthaf##king Pop Smoke ain’t never even follow,” Fivio said. “Don’t ask me about none of them goofy muthaf##kas. A lot of these n###as gone have to come outside one day. When y’all come outside I’ll be right there like chicken and beer.”

In another portion of the clip from the live, Fivio addresses fan concern that he unfollowed Pop Smoke’s official profile on Instagram. However, instead of responding with the energy of his previous comments, he explained that there is likely a much more understandable and plausible explanation for the situation.

“Y’all talking about a follow, look at this,” Fivio said while pointing to a tattoo on his chest dedicated to Pop. “Look at this. The smoke would never clear off my chest. Y’all talking about a follow. I don’t know. I don’t know how it unfollowed. I know I went through a season of following zero people. I don’t even care. I don’t care. Like, you n###as is talking to me about Instagram.”

Fivio Foreign and the late Pop Smoke were significant figures in the Brooklyn drill music scene, specifically representing the neighborhood of Canarsie. They first connected through their neighborhood ties and quickly recognized each other’s talent, leading to their first collaboration on the track “Sweetheart” from Fivio’s 2019 EP, Pain and Love.

The track garnered millions of streams across various platforms, contributing to both artists’ rising fame. Tragically, Pop Smoke’s burgeoning career was cut short when he was murdered during a home invasion in Los Angeles in February 2020. Fivio appeared on “Demon,” a posthumous collaboration included on Pop Smoke’s album Shoot for the Stars, Aim for the Moon.
