Nobody Can Believe What Drake & His Fans Did!

Drake fans are out here doing the absolute most. Over the weekend, a bunch of super fans decided to throw a Drake look-alike party. No, this wasn’t for Hanukkah or any special occasion—this was just a random day, where all the various Drizzy doppelgängers gathered in one spot to party the night away.

I have to admit, this is taking fandom to uncharted heights. Over the years, we’ve seen megastars like Michael Jackson, Prince and Madonna inspire this kind of devotion. But now? Drake is officially stepping into that rarefied air. Please don’t kill me for saying it. I have to give credit where it’s due.

Even more impressive? Drake actually love the party! He rewarded the winner of the look-alike contest with $10,000. That’s right, folks—10 stacks! Membership in the Drake fan club clearly has its privileges.

From a cultural standpoint, what do y’all think of this? Honestly, I can’t see this happening for any other rapper. Certainly not JAY-Z or Kendrick Lamar. Maybe MF DOOM could inspire this level of weird fandom, but even that’s a stretch. Either way, Drake throwing money at his fans is cool. I would consider dressing like him for 10k! I’m sure whoever won needed it, just like me.

One thing that had me dying laughing, though, was the dude who came dressed as Adonis. That cracked me up. It was diabolical in the best way, and it honestly made me wonder if a Kendrick Lamar or Pusha T fan snuck into the party trolling. There’s no way that didn’t get noticed but apparently, it was all love. For a second, when I saw the costume, I thought it was Ice Spice, not Drake’s son! Ha!

Anyway, what do y’all think? We are about to replace Stans with Drakes.

Outlawz’s Young Noble Insists 2Pac Could’ve Survived Shooting: “[Afeni] Let Her Son Go”

Outlawz rapper Young Noble recently sat down with the Art of Dialogue for his first interview in more than seven years. Naturally, his Outlawz brethren/Hip-Hop icon 2Pac was a heavy topic of discussion.

At one point during the conversation, Young Noble looked back on the 1997 shooting of The Notorious B.I.G., which took place mere months after 2Pac was gunned down in Las Vegas.

“It was crazy,” he said. “Biggie dying affected us, too […] I was almost questioning like, ‘Damn man, maybe I should have stayed in school and figured something else out.’ Like, ‘I don’t know if I made the right decision getting in the car with [Hussein] Fatal and Yaki [Kadafi] that day. This doesn’t feel good.’

“I left the hood to come to California. I was tired of death and all this b#######. Two of my friends just died back to back. It was horrible. Horrible for Hip-Hop.”

Young Noble then questioned if anyone learned anything from the deaths of 2Pac and Biggie considering the shocking number of murders in the rap community still happening.

“That’s why I haven’t done an interview in seven years,” he admitted. “2Pac said it best, I’m gonna save my f#####’ breath, spend time with my family, go on vacation.” He concluded, “It was horrible when Biggie died just all around the board.”

From there, Young Noble started reflecting on seeing 2Pac at the University Medical Center of Southern Nevada, where he ultimately died, and the numerous conspiracy theories that suggest he’s still alive.

“No, he really died,” he said. “He was really in the hospital. I saw him with tubes in his body. I saw his body full of fluid. He was real big. He wasn’t skinny with the six-pack. Body was full. He really f###### died on us.”

Despite 2Pac’s grim condition, Young Noble believes he could’ve survived, but his mother Afeni Shakur decided to take a more compassionate route for her son.

“He probably could have lived,” he added. “His mama said, ‘Nah.’ F### all that.’ I think he lost his finger. I think he was gonna lose a lung, trying to do all these surgeries. You know how strong your mama gotta be to say, ‘Damn, he probably could make it. I don’t want my son to endure no more pain in this world. Y’all tear him down.’

“That s### is devastating. She let her son go. ‘Pac ain’t die. Afeni said, ‘Let my son fly.’ That’s it. Bruh, can you imagine that? A guy as amazing as him. The world in his f###### palms. His mama like, ‘F### that. Let him go. Let him fly. Y’all don’t even f#####’ deserve him. He been gone since I was 18. I’m 46. All muthafuckas want to do is get on camera and dissect his f###### life. N#### was amazing.”

He ended with, “That n#### was everything. Died at 25” before walking off the set with tears in his eyes.

The Outlawz (also known as Outlaw Immortalz) were founded by 2Pac in 1995 and became widely known for their collaborations with him, especially on his later works. ‘Pac wanted the group to embody rebellion and resistance.
Members were chosen from his close friends and associates, many of whom he knew from his youth or through the music scene.

The group contributed significantly to 2Pac’s albums, including All Eyez on Me and The Don Killuminati: The 7 Day Theory. Their most famous feature was on the song “Hit ‘Em Up,” a vicious diss track targeting Biggie Smalls and Bad Boy Records. After 2Pac’s death, the group continued to release music but never achieved the same level of success as they had under their mentor’s guidance.

Master P Addresses Grambling State Graduates In Powerful Keynote Speech

Master P urged graduates at Grambling State University on Saturday (December 14) to embrace change and pursue their dreams with courage and determination as he delivered the keynote address during the fall 2024 commencement ceremony.

Master P stood before 365 graduates at the Fredrick C. Hobdy Assembly Center, emphasizing education as a powerful tool for transformation.

“Education is so important, and I love that we can change, we can grow,” Master P said. “Today is about change. Today is about being all you can be. I’ve been through everything you could think of. I’ve seen it. I’ve been there. And when I look into your eyes, I realize why we’re about to be on time.”

Celebrating the graduates’ dedication, Master P drew a stark contrast between their accomplishments and life’s alternative paths.

“A lot of people have given four or five years to incarceration; y’all gave it to education,” he said. “A lot of people ask why people celebrate when they get out of being incarcerated. We’re going to celebrate the ones that graduate college. This is what I love to see.”

As a Hip-Hop icon whose career evolved into a multifaceted business empire, Master P used reflective wisdom to connect with the graduates, acknowledging the hardships they overcame to reach this milestone while commending their tenacity.

“There have been trials and tribulations, ups and downs, early mornings and late nights studying to take a test or complete an assignment, and it all led up to this moment. So y’all give yourselves a round of applause. I want y’all to know today is a blessing, and now it’s time to go out and show the world that all of your hard work was worth it.”

Master P encouraged the graduates to lead with purpose and integrity as they chart their futures. Invoking Proverbs 4:6-7, he reminded them to treasure wisdom as a protective and guiding force.

“Do not forsake wisdom, and she will protect you; love her, and she will watch over you,” Master P read, adding, “Wisdom is supreme. When you look into the mirror, just know you are your only competition. Whatever you can dream of, you can make it come true—just have a plan and a purpose. Do what you love, operate with integrity, and hold yourself accountable. Never abandon your dream, and always be brave.”

Master P closed his remarks with, “The future is yours. It’s in your hands. Now go show the world what Grambling State greatness looks like.”

Lil’ Rod’s Controversial Lawyer Scores Big Win Against Universal Music Group

Lil’ Rod’s controversial attorney, Tyrone Blackburn, scored a huge win after a judge refused Universal Music Group’s (UMG) request for sanctions in a high-profile case marked by explosive allegations and intense corporate fallout.

The decision was handed down by U.S. District Judge J. Paul Oetken in Manhattan, clearing Blackburn of accusations that he pursued groundless claims to harm the reputations of UMG executives. The case originated with a lawsuit filed by Rodney “Lil’ Rod” Jones against Sean “Diddy” Combs, alleging a litany of misconduct, including sexual assault, trafficking and racketeering.

UMG and its senior leadership, including CEO Sir Lucian Grainge and Motown Records’ former president Ethiopia Habtemariam, were drawn into the lawsuit due to purported business links.

However, these claims were dismissed after Blackburn voluntarily retracted them during a procedural grace period, citing a lack of sufficient evidence.

UMG sought sanctions against Blackburn, accusing him of weaponizing outrageous allegations to gain leverage, but the judge rejected the motion, ruling there was no basis to conclude the lawyer acted in bad faith.

Instead, Oetken acknowledged Blackburn’s timely withdrawal of the claims reflected an effort to correct—not exploit—the situation.

“The lack of legal merit in the withdrawn claims does not establish malice or an intent to misuse the judicial process,” Judge Oetken wrote. “To impose sanctions in this context would risk discouraging attorneys from taking on sensitive cases involving serious allegations.”

The outcome represents a critical win for Blackburn and refocuses the legal battle on Lil’ Rod’s allegations against Diddy, which remain unresolved.

Barry Jenkins Denies Favoritism In Casting Blue Ivy For “Lion King”

Blue Ivy, the 12-year-old daughter of JAY-Z and Beyoncé, debuted as the voice of lioness cub Kiara in Disney’s Mufasa: The Lion King, with director Barry Jenkins firmly stating her casting came down to talent, not family connections.

In an interview with People magazine, Jenkins, known for directing the Oscar-winning drama “Moonlight,” addressed speculation about favoritism.

“Her parents weren’t involved in her booking this film,” Jenkins said unequivocally. Instead, he said it was Blue Ivy’s audiobook narration in 2020 that first caught his attention.

“You know, she had read this book, this audiobook Hair Love with my friend Matthew Cherry,” he said. “And I just really loved her voice.”

Jenkins described Blue Ivy’s voice as embodying “a wonderful innocence” paired with “the knowingness of a highly evolved child.” He credited her ability to deliver the emotional complexity required for the role.

“The children in the audience, they’re going to see themselves in the character she plays, Kiara. She just brought all the complexity that it demanded.”

He also commended her preparation and professionalism.

“It was great working with her. She came extremely prepared.”

Jenkins emphasized that her performance stood entirely on its own, separate from her status as the child of a music-industry power couple.

The young talent walked the red carpet at the film’s Monday premiere alongside her superstar parents.

The family’s public appearance occurred amid controversy surrounding JAY-Z, who a day earlier faced allegations involving a 2000 incident in which he was accused of sexual misconduct with a minor alongside music mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs.

JAY-Z, 55, has vehemently denied the claims, labeling them “heinous” and “idiotic.”

Creative Ways to Use AI Posters for Your Social Media Campaigns

Catching your audience’s attention has become increasingly difficult with the rise of social media. Studies show that people now have shorter attention spans, often scrolling through their feeds in just a few seconds. This means standing out visually has never been more important. One of the best ways to grab attention and get your message across is by using AI-powered posters. These posters not only look visually appealing but also help you engage your audience and communicate your brand effectively.

Let’s explore some creative ways to use AI posters for your social media campaigns, and how AI tools like Dreamina can make it easy to create eye-catching visuals in just minutes.

  1. The power of visual storytelling

One of the most effective ways to capture your audience’s attention on social media is through storytelling. Visual content tends to perform better than text-only posts, and with best free AI image generator, you can bring your story to life in a more engaging manner. A well-designed poster can evoke emotions, spark curiosity, and encourage users to interact with your content.

  1. Promoting your brand identity

When creating social media campaigns, maintaining a strong brand identity is essential. AI-powered posters allow you to build consistent and professional designs that reflect your brand’s style and messaging. By using consistent colors, fonts, and themes across your posters, you reinforce your brand identity and create a memorable visual presence. This helps ensure that your audience recognizes and associates your content with your brand.

  1. Boost engagement with interactive posters

Gone are the days when static content was the norm. Interactive elements such as animations, clickable buttons, or QR codes can make your posters more dynamic and engaging. AI poster makers like Dreamina offer features that allow you to enhance your designs with interactive components.

For example, if you’re promoting a product, you can add a QR code that links to a landing page or a discount offer. This transforms your static poster into an interactive gateway, encouraging users to take action.

  1. Highlighting special offers and promotions

Creating urgency and promoting limited-time offers is key to driving sales through social media campaigns. AI posters allow you to highlight these promotions visually, making them stand out in crowded feeds.

For instance, if you’re running a time-sensitive sale or discount, you can generate a poster using Dreamina featuring bold typography, striking color contrasts, and concise messaging to convey your offer. The tool’s ability to adjust text sizes, colors, and layouts ensures your poster effectively communicates the urgency of your offer.

  1. Showcasing product features and benefits

If you’re promoting a new product or service, AI posters are an excellent way to highlight key features and benefits. Whether you’re advertising a tech gadget, a skincare product, or a new app, Dreamina’s Image-to-Image feature allows you to refine visuals, customize designs, and make adjustments to ensure your product is showcased in the best possible light.

  1. Social media growth and brand awareness

Using AI-generated posters consistently can also boost your overall brand awareness on social media. With tools like Dreamina, you can maintain a steady flow of high-quality content that keeps your brand top-of-mind for your audience. Whether you’re promoting a product launch, an event, or simply aiming to increase your online presence, Dreamina provides a seamless way to produce a variety of posters tailored to different needs.

Dreamina offer tools that simplify the process of creating logos of various styles. 1. Tracking performance and optimizing posters

One of the lesser-known benefits of AI poster makers is the ability to track the performance of your social media campaigns. You can track metrics like click-through rates, engagement rates, and impressions to understand what works and optimize your future posters accordingly. By analyzing which types of posters resonate most with your audience, you can refine your design strategies and create more targeted and effective campaigns.

Jamie Foxx Says He Always Left Diddy Parties Early

Jamie Foxx tackled online conspiracy theories and shed light on his near-death experience in his new Netflix comedy special, Jamie Foxx: What Had Happened Was….

The actor, known for his roles in Django Unchained and Ray, addressed baseless rumors claiming Sean “Diddy” Combs was behind his medical emergency earlier this year, which he confirmed was a brain bleed and stroke.

“The internet said Puffy tried to kill me. That’s what the internet was saying,” Jamie Foxx remarked during his routine, referencing Combs by his well-known nickname.

He humorously added, “I know what you’re thinking, ‘Did he?’ Hell no, I left them parties early. I was out by 9. Something don’t look right. It’s slippery in here!”

Foxx’s jab alluded to Combs’ lavish—and now infamous—parties, which have come under scrutiny following his arrest in September.

Combs is currently awaiting trial on multiple felony charges, including sex trafficking, after police raided his home earlier this year and reportedly confiscated items ranging from AR-15 rifles to drugs and “more than 1,000 bottles of baby oil and lubricant.”

More than 120 individuals, including 25 minors, have reportedly come forward accusing Combs of sexual assault and other offenses. The rapper and entrepreneur, who has denied all allegations, faces a federal trial beginning May 5.

If convicted, he could serve a sentence of 15 years to life in prison. This isn’t the first time Foxx has openly commented on Combs’ behavior.

In a 2018 interview on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, Foxx described Combs as having a “dangerous” edge.

“Puff was always sort of dangerous,” he said at the time, recounting an incident where Combs showed up to one of Foxx’s parties flanked by FBI agents.

BossMan Dlow Reveals Who Influenced Him To Sign With Alamo After Gucci Mane Deal Failed

BossMan Dlow recently opened up about his journey to signing with Alamo Records, revealing the pivotal role Rod Wave played in influencing his decision.

During his recent interview with The Breakfast Club, the “SportsCenter” hitmaker plugged his new album, Dlow Curry, and spoke on his dream to play basketball, recent dust-up with DJ Vlad and patented flow. Among the juiciest bits of information he shared was how he nearly signed with Gucci Mane before ultimately choosing Alamo Records.

“Gucci had tried to sign me, and it was like a little misunderstanding,” Dlow explained.

He attributed the missed opportunity to communication issues, particularly involving the lawyers handling the deal. He added, “I guess I wasn’t really communicating with him.”

A post shared by The Breakfast Club (@breakfastclubam)

BossMan Dlow also revealed that he was in talks with Think It’s A Game, the label behind YFN Lucci.

“They was trying to sign me, but you know, that didn’t work out,” he said. Though the details of why the deal didn’t materialize remain unclear, it was soon after these failed negotiations that Dlow found himself inking a deal with Alamo Records. When asked why he chose Alamo, Dlow pointed to Rod Wave’s success as a significant factor.

“At the time, I was looking up to Rod Wave because he over there,” Dlow said. “I’m saying, ‘OK, he’s doing good, he ain’t complaining.'”

BossMan Dlow’s move to Alamo comes at a particularly exciting time, as well, following Rod Wave’s latest album, Last Lap, debuting at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart after selling roughly 137,000 units in its first week. He went on to emphasize that Alamo’s approach aligned with what he was looking for in a label.

“They was coming correct too,” he added.

All things considered, Dlow may have dodged a bullet given the fact that Gucci recently gutted his 1017 Records artist roster. Nonetheless, reflecting on the missed opportunity with Gucci Mane, Dlow admitted he was at a different stage in life during those talks.

“At the time, bro, I was so deep in the streets it was like it didn’t even matter about the money,” he shared. “I know me being with Gucci gone… I know I’m gonna snap, but it just the conversation wasn’t right for it.”

Brooklyn JAY-Z Pops Out; Illseed Talks Lies Vs. “Inconsistencies”

JAY-Z is NOT Having It! The Mogul Goes HAM on Lies!

Listen, JAY-Z is out here torching the nonsense and taking names! The man is not playing around when it comes to folks dragging his name through the mud. I’m over here trying to figure out how this even became a “thing,” but y’all know how social media works—everything becomes new drama in the blink of an eye.

Here’s the rundown: NBC just dropped a new report, and guess what? The person accusing Hov of some wild, illicit behavior with a minor has been caught up in serious inconsistencies. Hold up—when did we start calling lies “inconsistencies”? Nah, let’s call a s#### a s####: LIES.

READ ALSO: NBC Admits To Inconsistencies In JAY-Z Reporting

Benji Madden got dragged into the accusations, and they came out saying, “Yo, we weren’t even in the REGION!” She said she TALKED to him at the party. On top of that, receipts are floating around showing JAY-Z was at official MTV VMA parties while the accuser and Diddy were somewhere else entirely – supposedly. The math is not mathing.

And don’t even get me started on this new NBC interview. Let’s just say sis is giving… “special energy.” Folks online are even saying she might be getting played by her lawyer, Attorney Buzbee, who’s looking real shady right now. When billionaires are in the mix, an accusation can cost someone their reputation. A fat payout can make it go away.

Hov is not built like that. He’s definitely a fighter. Unlike his boy Diddy, who cut the check to Cassie faster than DoorDash, JAY-Z is pushing back on everything. And honestly? It’s looking like these accusations are crumbling quicker than a Kardashian marriage.

The wild part is, if this was a Black man making accusations this messy, the case would’ve been laughed out of court yesterday. Let’s be real: when you’re Black, “inconsistencies” are just called what they are—lies. Maybe it’s time we apply that same energy across the board, because this whole situation is a circus, and the clowns are out.

I’m here for all of it.

However, some people I recently talked to have accused the mogul of bullying the accuser. What do you think about that? Let it play out in court of finish her in the court of public opinion?

Rest In Peace: Former “Rap City” Host Hans “Prime” Dobson Has Died

Hans Dobson, known professionally as “Prime,” was an early host of BET’s “Rap City,” serving from 1989 to 1993. Sadly, the beloved host passed away recently due to an unknown health ailment.

A relative explained on Facebook, “He was 55 years old and suffered from liver issues that had him waiting on the transplant list.”

During his tenure at BET, Prime conducted notable interviews, including Big Daddy Kane and a young JAY-Z. At the time, he was BET’s youngest employee, chosen for his deep understanding of Hip-Hop culture. Prime played a pivotal role in shaping the show’s direction during its formative years.

After leaving “Rap City,” Dobson maintained a low profile but continued to work in media and radio. He has participated in numerous interviews and “Rap City” reunions over the years. In 2023, he appeared in the documentary series “Welcome to Rap City,” which explores the show’s history and cultural impact.

Sam Walker II, former BET VP of music productions, said he was a fan and a colleague of Prime. He also served as the executive producer of the “Welcome To Rap City” documentary.

“I had the opportunity to be a fan of Prime’s as a teenager watching ‘Rap City’ and its many hosts, to later working with him in my role as a producer on the documentary, ‘Welcome To Rap City,'” he tells AllHipHop. “He was a true fan of Hip-Hop music who, unbeknownst to most, was the driving force that led to the creation of a vehicle that launched so many careers, ‘Rap City.’

“As a person, he was filled with life and energy, and his passion for urban culture was second to none. So, I am happy we were able to give him his flowers while he was still with us. He truly personifies how one individual, with the right idea, at the right time, can help spark an entire movement.”

Prime’s contributions to “Rap City” and the broader hHip-Hop community are remembered and appreciated.

Jamie Foxx Hit With Flying Glass In Birthday Brawl At Beverly Hills Restaurant

Jamie Foxx was reportedly involved in an altercation at Mr. Chow’s in Los Angeles on Friday night (December 13) that resulted in stitches for the Hollywood star.

TMZ reports law enforcement was called to the highly frequented Beverly Hills restaurant around 10 p.m. local time. A witness told police Foxx was possibly injured in the fight, but the Ray actor was gone by the time they arrived on the scene.

Foxx was photographed earlier that evening heading into the establishment with his daughters Corinne and Anelise Foxx and his ex Kristin Grannis, so he could at least be placed at the scene. His name was also included in the police report.

A spokesperson later explained, “Jamie Foxx was at his birthday dinner when someone from another table threw a glass that hit him in the mouth. He had to get stitches and is recovering. The police were called and the matter is now in law enforcement’s hands.”

TMZ

Foxx faced a significant health scare in April 2023. While working on a Netflix film titled Back in Action, he was hospitalized for a “medical complication.” His family was initially extremely private about the details, but it was later revealed that the issue required an extended recovery period. Speculation circulated about the nature of the complication, but Foxx and his family chose not to divulge the details

Foxx spent weeks in the hospital and later moved to a rehabilitation center. He gradually recovered as concern for Foxx’s well-being flooded social media. Many celebrities, including LeBron James and Kerry Washington, expressed their support and well wishes.

In July 2023, he posted an Instagram video addressing fans for the first time since his hospitalization. He thanked everyone for their prayers, debunked rumors that he had been “paralyzed or blind” and assured fans he was on the mend. Foxx has resumed some professional activities. In August 2023, he was spotted filming a commercial and later announced new projects, including upcoming music and movie roles.

His new comedy special, What Had Happened Was, is currently streaming on Netflix.

50 Cent Explains Challenges With Upcoming Diddy Documentary

50 Cent is shedding light on the making of his upcoming Netflix documentary of the accusations against Sean “Diddy” Combs and his alleged history of sexual assault and abuse.

The G-Unit founder discussed the project during a recent appearance on GMA3: What You Need to Know Friday (December 13).

According to 50 Cent, the documentary has become a challenge due to the constant emergence of new accusations, comparing it to an octopus with many moving parts.

“It’s a difficult project,” 50 Cent explained. “Because every day there’s new accusations coming out, it’s new things that happened. It’s become an octopus, with so many powers and so many things going on there.”

50 Cent first teased the Diddy documentary in November last year. At the time, Diddy and Cassie Ventura had just settled the first bombshell lawsuit. Within days, two more women had accused Diddy of sexual abuse in lawsuits.

Dozens of civil lawsuits swiftly followed, with three new complaints filed this week alone.

In September Diddy was indicted on racketeering conspiracy, sex trafficking, and transportation to engage in prostitution. Feds accuse him of using his business empire “to sexually abuse and exploit women, as well as to commit other acts of violence and obstruction of justice.”

When asked if he predicted the slew of accusations, given his history with Diddy, 50 Cent replied, “No, not this bad. Not this much stuff. I don’t think anyone could have anticipated this many accusations and things that have taken place.”

Busta Rhymes Employs AI With Incredible Results In “Unleash Me”

Busta Rhymes has always been one of the most animated rappers in the game. But now, the dungeon dragon takes his art to new heights in “Unleash Me.” The New York native employs a liberal use of AI with spectacular results. The Benny Boom-directed experience creates the perfect match for the Nottz-produced banger.

Fat Joe Still Feels Like Chance The Rapper Robbed Him Of Grammy Win For “All The Way Up”

Hip-hop veteran Fat Joe isn’t one to hold back, and his recent comments about losing to Chance The Rapper at the Grammy Awards nearly a decade ago is evidence of both his outspoken nature and continued frustration with the music industry’s most prestigious awards show.

In a viral video circulating on social media, the Bronx rapper revealed just how deeply he feels about what he describes as being “robbed.” Fat Joe made the claim during a brief aside amidst the playback session for his upcoming album, The World Changed On Me. In his initial remarks, he appears to credit Killer Mike’s recent success at the award’s show for inspiring him to start working on music again.

“I’m busy trying to get these businesses going and get real money,” Fat Joe said, referring to his most recent ventures outside of Hip-Hop.

“Killer Mike wins three Grammys, right, and I called Jay up, I was like, ‘Man, f##k that’,” he said. “I said, ‘Let’s go back in, let’s lock in.’ If it wasn’t for him, I was done.”

The turning point in the conversation came when he began recalling how he felt when his hit track “All The Way Up” featuring Remy Ma and French Montana lost to Chance The Rapper at the 2017 iteration of the Grammy’s. In doing so, he confessed his belief that losing to the Chicago MC was more disrespectful than when he last to the Black Eyed Peas.

“We got robbed,” he said. “‘Lean Back’, I don’t know if you know, but we lost to the Black Eyed Peas without Fergie. And then we lost ‘All The Way Up’ to Chance The Rapper. Like, that’s the biggest disrespect.”

Transitioning from recounting the loss, Fat Joe admitted it’s a regret he can’t let go of.

“You know how JAY-Z used to say, you know, gotta learn to live with regrets? I can’t live with that one,” he confessed. “Man, losing to Chance The Rapper. ‘All The Way Up’—whatever his s##t was, it was just not that, right?”

Fat Joe’s frustration wasn’t limited to the single moment. He expressed anger at the Grammys’ history of snubbing him and his collaborators, particularly given the circumstances behind their 2016 hit.

“Remy comes out of jail, I come out of jail,” he said in part. “We throwing a f###ing miracle frisbee out there. S##t No. 1 in America and you’re gonna give it to the, you know….it’s crazy. The Grammys been playing with us a long time.”

Fat Joe’s grievance over the 2017 loss isn’t his first experience with Grammy disappointments. The rapper has been nominated multiple times, including for hits such as “What’s Luv?” Despite the accolades and chart-topping success, a Grammy win has remained elusive for the Terror Squad legend, fueling his disillusionment with the institution.

Ice Cube’s Has PSA For Andrew Schulz Over Son’s Reaction To Kendrick Lamar Jokes

Ice Cube is addressing his son, O’Shea Jackson Jr., trading words with Andrew Schulz following the comic’s wild remarks about Kendrick Lamar.

The iconic rapper’s son checked Schulz for his reaction to K. Dot calling out white comedians on GNX for making jokes about Black women. Ice Cube was asked about his thoughts on how O’Shea Jr. dealt with the exchange during a recent TMZ interview.

“He can handle that all day, any day,” Cube replied. “That’s light work.”

Ice Cube also shared a message to Andrew Schulz, telling him to “Come with some better jokes, homie.”

Schulz went viral following his unhinged reaction to K. Dot’s “Wacced Out Murals”  line about not letting “no white comedian talk about no Black woman.”

“He’s talking a lot of s###, but if it came down to it, I could put him on my lap, feed him a bottle, and make love to him if I wanted to,” Schulz said, sparking a social media frenzy.

“Weird ass n####,” Ice Cube’s son replied to a clip of Schulz. He followed up with a second tweet, adding, “Man how people change on some weird s###. I was a fan.”

O’Shea Jr. doubled down after Schulz fired back, referencing Ice Cube’s “No Vaseline.”

“A metaphor about getting f##### business wise by your manager Is not the same homie,” he replied. “He ain’t call you a b####. He ain’t say f### you. Didn’t even say your name. And your response was buck breaking. S### was just crazy.”

Schulz later defended his remarks, denying he was a racist and claimed Lamar fans had sent him death threats.

Diddy Gives Up Bail Bid To Stay In Hellish Prison

Sean “Diddy” Combs has formally ended his bid for release on bail, marking another pivotal step in the legal saga surrounding the rapper-turned-business mogul.

In a document filed with the Second U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals, Diddy’s legal team withdrew his appeal of multiple rulings that had previously denied him pretrial release.

“Mr. Combs does not seek to appeal the district court’s denial of his renewed motion and hereby moves to voluntarily dismiss the appeal,” the filing stated. It further included a sworn statement from the artist—known for his influential role in Hip-Hop culture—confirming his understanding of the legal outcome.

“Mr. Combs hereby states that (a) counsel has explained the effect of voluntary dismissal of the appeal; (b) he understands counsel’s explanation, and (c) he desires to withdraw and voluntarily dismiss the appeal,” the filing read.

Diddy, who has pleaded not guilty to serious federal charges including sex trafficking, racketeering, and transportation for prostitution, remains held at Brooklyn’s Metropolitan Detention Center.

While awaiting trial, he has been granted access to a laptop to prepare his defense and review evidence related to his case.

According to a court order signed by Judge Arun Subramanian, the detention center is required to provide Combs with access to the computer seven days a week from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

“The MDC is ordered to give Defendant access to the Discovery Laptop seven days per week from 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM,” the order stated, noting access will be made available in designated areas such as the facility’s visiting room or video conferencing room.

While the artist, famously known for hits that shaped the fabric of modern Hip-Hop, battles these allegations, his choice to drop the bail appeal solidifies his focus on the forthcoming legal fight.

Diddy denies all charges, with his next challenge being the mounting preparation needed to face the prosecution’s claims head-on. His trial is set for May 2025.

EXCLUSIVE: The Game’s Fight To Save L.A. Mansion From Assault Accuser Wages On

The Game‘s fight to save his Calabasas home from sexual assault accuser Priscilla Rainey continues.

According to court documents obtained by AllHipHop, the veteran rapper has been ordered back to court on January 27, 2025. He also must file and serve a brief addressing his position and defenses to the OSC on or before January 6, while Rainey is required to do the same by January 13. The Game will not be allowed to seek further rehearing after that.

The docs were filed on Friday (December 13) by United States District Judge Mark C. Scarsi.

Rainey, a former contestant on VH1’s She Got Game, has been trying to seize The Game’s home for months in an effort to collect a $7.1 million judgement. Last month, Game asked the court dismiss the Order for Sale of Dwelling and order the Marshal to release the levy. In August, Rainey served The Game and Wack 100 in hopes of getting her hands on the Calabasas property.

A process server sent a notice of levy, writ of execution and more to The Game and Wack 100 on Rainey’s behalf in June. Both men were listed at the same address. Rainey accused The Game of transferring his home’s deed to Wack 100 in an effort to thwart her efforts. The Game, however, denied being personally served at all.

“No individual delivered any court papers to me on August 22, 2024 at any location,” The Game said in the court docs. “No individual approached me on August 22, 2024 at any location and stated anything that would suggest to me they were attempting to serve me with court papers. I ultimately became aware of the Order to Show Cause Why Order for Sale of Dwelling Should Not Be Made from media reports about it.”

Rainey sued The Game for sexual battery in 2015, accusing him of reaching his hand inside her dress and rubbing her private parts during an off-camera date. When The Game pulled a no-show in court, the judge sided with Rainey and gave her the massive default judgement.

The Game maintains his innocence and has vowed not give Rainey a single penny.

Stop The Cap: OG Maco Still Fighting For His Life After Apparent Suicide Attempt

OG Maco was a trending Twitter (X) topic on Saturday (December 14), with many mourning his death.

The problem?  The Atlanta rapper is still in the intensive care unit at Cedars Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles fighting for his life. His day-to-day manager, Poppa Perc, has been tirelessly shooting down the false news reports that began on Friday (December 13) following an Instagram post from DJ Tony Neal claiming he was dead.

“He’s still on life support, still fighting,” Poppa Perc tells AllHipHop. “They are doing multiple tests on his brain and trying to let the swelling go down a bit, let his head heal a little bit, so they can do a procedure. Only immediate family is allowed at the hospital, but we’ve been getting updates.”

First responders were called to OG Maco’s home on Thursday morning (December 12) after a neighbor heard a gunshot. Poppa Perc soon revealed he shot himself in the head in an apparent suicide attempt.

“I thought he was dead when I first saw him,” he told us at the time. “We were about rebrand and drop [new music] under a whole new alias. We need everyone’s prayers.”

Despite the OG Maco team doing its best to shut down the death rumors, people are coming out in droves to express their condolences. One person wrote, “This breaks my heart so much. May u rest in heaven. Thank you for being my first ever friend in Atlanta. For believing in my music before anyone else and for the friendship we shared through out the years. you will never be forgotten,” while another said, “Rest in peace bro, you’re a real legend and pioneer in the game, paved the way for a lot of the industry.”

DJ Paul of Three 6 Mafia, who initially believed Maco was dead, removed his tribute post once he was told he was still alive and later commented, “Praying for you however you’re doing.”

While OG Maco’s current condition paints a grim picture, his team is asking that people don’t give up hope. AllHipHop continues to pull for him.
