Mysonne Disses Troy Ave On New Song

Freedom fighter Mysonne stepped back into the booth to remind folk that he really is an emcee who understands how to rap and the streets.

In his new track “Rolland,” he responds to the recent back and forth with Brooklyn rapper Troy Ave.

The “Until Freedom” founder took to Instagram and announced the video. He said, “This ain’t No beef, this is a opportunity to Teach.”

“Hopefully Rolland will heed this msg and understand that the perpetuation of this false image has been nothing but detrimental to him and everyone around him! Either way this will be my last response,” he continued. “My goal is to dispel the myth that Money somehow makes you better than other! It’s the content of one’s character that is important!”

Adding, “Young kings live and move honorably and Money will be the reward ! Some are so poor all the have is money!! #RaisingKingz Respectfully #BoycottBlackMurder ohh I still #RapmyAssOff

One of the things he said in the rap is, “The streets not a myth, the Internet is.”

The song’s video dropped over the weekend and did more than just address their beef but put into perspective why the “Never Switch” rapper may have switched up on the game.

He zeroed in on how Troy Ave’s bad karma resulted in one of his friends being killed and how he took the stand against Hip-Hop podcaster Taxstone because he didn’t want to face two-gun charges.

AllHipHop.com reported on the rapper’s recent appearance in court during the Taxstone’s trial for the 2016 killing of Ronald McPhatter.

Interestingly enough, Troy Ave immediately released a diss track “Dear Hater (I Won)” to everyone who had words about his decision to cooperate with law enforcement.

Troy Ave recorded the video for “Dear Hater” on the steps of the courthouse.

Mysonne thinly addressed this song and other times when Troy Ave used the incident of his friend’s death and the shooting to propel his career.

Omerettà The Great Mocks BBL Enhancements

Love them or hate them, Brazilian butt lifts have been a major topic of conversation in Hip Hop culture for years. Rising Atlanta rapper Omerettà The Great recently inserted herself into the BBL discussion.

Several notable female rappers, such as Nicki Minaj and Cardi B, have gotten cosmetic procedures done on their bodies. Other performers, such as Megan Thee Stallion and Coi Leray, chose to present a more natural look.

It appears Omerettà The Great belongs in the non-surgery camp but has no problem mocking Brazilian butt lifts. Over the weekend, she posted an Instagram video of herself dancing. Omerettà filled her pants to make it look as if she had botched butt augmentation surgery. Her caption read, “New BBL y’all like it.”

Omerettà The Great is not the only celebrity talking about BBLs. Both Cardi B and Angela “Blac Chyna” White have publicly admitted to getting silicon shots removed from their buttocks. White also got facial fillers in her jaw, lips, and cheeks dissolved.

“I just want all the ladies out there to know, do not get silicone shots because you can get sick, you can die, have complications and all this other crazy stuff,” stated Angela White in an Instagram video uploaded last month.

In December 2022, Cardi B said, “I actually removed my ass shots out of my butt. I removed 95 percent of it. And young girls – not young girls because it’s young and older – whatever you do, don’t get ass shots. I’m really against them.”

Sacramento Kings Announce Investigation Into E-40’s Claims Of Racial Bias

Bay Area rap legend E-40 called out the Sacramento Kings after being removed from a game on April 15. The Kings were playing The Click member’s favorite team, the Golden State Warriors.

According to E-40, a Caucasian woman heckled him throughout the course of the April 15th sporting event. He claimed Golden 1 Center security guards only removed him from the arena during the fourth quarter.

“Unfortunately, it was yet another reminder that — despite my success and accolades as a musician and entrepreneur — racial bias remains prevalent,” wrote E-40. “Security saw a disagreement between a Black man and a white woman and immediately assumed that I was at fault.”

The Associated Press reports the Kings have begun an inquiry into the ejection involving E-40. A statement from the team reads, “The Sacramento Kings take these claims seriously and are investigating the facts and circumstances regarding the situation, as we do anytime an accusation like this is made.”

A source told the AP that E-40 supposedly kept blocking other fans’ view and received warnings from security officials. However, another source said no one warned Tha Hall of Game album creator about excessive standing.

E-40 did receive public support from retired NBA player Jalen Rose. The ESPN sports analyst/talk show host argued that the Hip Hop star born Earl Stevens deserves an apology from the Kings. E-40 thanked Rose for backing him.

Did Latto Throw Shots At Nicki Minaj At The 2023 Coachella Festival?

The war of words between Latto and Nicki Minaj does not seem to be over. Both rap stars took part in a public spat that played out on social media over numerous months.

Behind-the-scenes drama came to the forefront. Last year, Nicki Minaj had a problem with Latto’s “Big Energy” possibly receiving a Grammy nomination in a rap category. Minaj was also upset that the Grammy committee categorized her “Super Freaky Girl” single as Pop.

“Big Energy (Live)” did earn Latto a Grammy Award nomination for Best Melodic Rap Performance at the 65th Annual ceremony. Nicki Minaj did not score any Grammy nominations from The Recording Academy.

The back-and-forth insults went to another level in October. Latto tweeted, “Super Freaky Grandma is married AND related to f###### rapists.” In a since-deleted tweet, Minaj claimed she was “dat b####” because other people constantly bring up that a jury convicted her brother, Jelani Maraj, of raping his pre-teen stepdaughter.

Fans Think Nicki Minaj Dissed Latto On “Red Ruby Da Sleeze”

It appears the feud between Latto and Nicki Minaj could be heating up once again. Some listeners believed Minaj fired subliminal shots at Latto in the “Red Ruby Da Sleeze” single which dropped in March.

“We don’t be Karen like Donna-na-na-na-na-na,” rapped Nicki Minaj on “Red Ruby da Sleeze.” The Queens, New York native previously called Latto a “Karen” (a term to describe entitled, racist white women) during their Twitter clash last October.

Latto may have fired back at her adversary at the 2023 Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival in California. During the Sunday afternoon set, the Atlanta-bred rhymer performed an unreleased song that features the lyrics, “She thought I would kiss her ass, she must ain’t took her meds.”

A Heated Phone Call Between The Two Rappers Made Its Way To The Internet

Additionally, Nicki Minaj allegedly had issues with Latto because the 777 album creator expressed that more female rappers are currently thriving as compared to the era when Minaj had very little female rap competition.

Latto made those comments while sitting down with Hollywood Unlocked founder Jason Lee. Nicki Minaj and Jason Lee have a tumultuous history that includes Lee accusing marketing strategist Karen Civil of hiring someone to hack his blog in defense of Minaj.

Later, Latto released audio of a private phone conversation between herself and Nicki Minaj. In the clip, Minaj said, “I’m acting crazy because you said something that is clearly delusional?” Latto responded, “It’s delusional to say that other girls are flourishing?”

O.J. Simpson Responds To Jay-Z’s “The Story of O.J.”

“The Story of O.J.” was one of the standout tracks on Jay-Z’s 2017 studio LP 4:44. The song’s opening verse begins, “O.J. like, ‘I’m not black, I’m O.J.’… Okay. House n####, don’t f### with me. I’m a field n####, with shined cutlery.”

Jay-Z’s Grammy-nominated record referenced the time retired NFL player/accused murderer O.J. Simpson reportedly denounced his blackness and his connection to the Black community. Simpson has now responded to the Brooklyn emcee’s bars.

“Well, first of all, [Jay-Z] didn’t say it right,” stated O.J. Simpson in a clip posted on April 7 to the Rare Cloth Apparel Instagram page. “When [legendary attorney Johnnie Cochran] was talking to me about it, and all that was going on was ‘Black, Black, Black.’ I said, ‘Man, f### being Black, this is me. This is about O.J.'”

Johnnie Cochran and the so-called “Dream Team” of lawyers secured O.J. Simpson an acquittal in an infamous 1994 murder case in Los Angeles. Race played a huge factor in that trial. Especially after the defense presented audio of LAPD detective Mark Fuhrman using racist slurs about African-Americans.

Simpson also told Rare Cloth Apparel, “It wasn’t about Black or White. It was about, ‘These guys were after me.’ So that’s how that was expressed. It wasn’t about, ‘I’m not Black.’ It was about, ‘This ain’t about being Black, this is about me.'”

Jay-Z’s “The Story of O.J.” garnered nominations at the 60th Annual Grammy Awards for Record Of The Year, Best Rap Song, and Best Music Video. The Recording Academy shut out “The Story of O.J.” and the entire 4:44 album that night in January 2018.

Chloe Bailey’s Team Manages Her Twitter Account After Trolls Called Her Too Sexy For The Platform

Chloe Bailey deleted Twitter after becoming targeted by online trolls on the platform.

While speaking to ET Canada for a new interview, the “Praise This” star revealed that she has delegated management of her account on the social media site to her team.

Chloe explained that while she used to oversee her own account and uses other social media platforms herself, she deleted Twitter from her phone after receiving backlash from fans for being “too sexy” and being negatively compared to her sister, Halle Bailey.

“When you see me ‘tweeting,’ it’s because I’ll say (to my team), ‘Oh, tweet this for me.’ Or I’ll be like, ‘Send me any viral tweets or anything you think I should respond to or you know I’d want to. Send it my way because you know I won’t see it,'” she said. “I love all social media, and I love Twitter as well, but that’s where you can see all the negative things about you directly in your face.”

The singer/actress continued, “If I see my name trending, I’d click it and see a whole plethora of negative tweets about myself. I don’t need to do that to myself.”

Social media commentators recently criticized Chloe’s sex scene with Damson Idris in the Prime Video series Swarm, to which she responded in her interview that she was “laughing about it” and “proud of her performance”.

However, she maintained that criticism on social media can take a toll.

“I feel that when you continue to be fed the same thing, you’ll start to believe it. And I started changing myself based off what I thought people’s opinions were of me,” the 24-year-old added. “That’s not O.K.”

James Mtume’s Timeless Legacy & Impact On Hip-Hop Recognized With Street Dedication In Philly

The impact of James Mtume’s music on the hip-hop community is undeniable.

As a Grammy-winning musician and producer, he crafted unforgettable melodies that continue to inspire generations of artists.

His influence can be heard in the works of several hip-hop legends, such as The Notorious B.I.G., who famously sampled Mtume’s “Juicy Fruit” in his iconic track “Juicy.”

Other artists like Mary J. Blige, Nas, and Keyshia Cole have also drawn from his rich musical catalog, further cementing his status as a pillar of the industry.

In recognition of his extraordinary contributions to the world of music, the City of Philadelphia is set to honor Mtume with a street-naming ceremony on May 12th, 2023.

The event will take place from 11 am to 2 pm ET on the 1500 block of Wharton Street, a location that holds deep significance for the late artist, as it marks the beginning of his journey into music, social activism, and politics.

The street-naming ceremony is organized by Philadelphia’s Second District, which is represented by Councilperson Kenyatta Johnson. Johnson, who has been serving the area since 2012, expressed his pride in honoring the musical legend and Philly native.

Faulu Mtume, son of the late James Mtume, expressed gratitude for the honor bestowed upon his father’s estate.

He shared his appreciation for the city’s acknowledgment of his father’s impact, stating, “It’s beyond words just how great this is, the City of Brotherly Love showing a mighty love for my father, a Philly native.”

James Mtume’s storied career began in jazz, playing alongside legends like Miles Davis and his father, saxophonist Jimmy Heath.

He later formed a fruitful partnership with songwriter and producer Reggie Lucas, creating hits for renowned artists such as Roberta Flack & Donny Hathaway, Phyllis Hyman, and Stephanie Mills. His work extended to film and television soundtracks, including the movie “Native Son” and the TV series “New York Undercover.”

Mtume also co-hosted the New York City-based talk radio series, Open Line.

Sadly, James Mtume passed away on January 9th, 2022, after a battle with cancer.

He was 75 years old. The street-naming ceremony serves as a fitting tribute to a man whose musical genius and influence continue to reverberate through the industry.

Hoodcelebrityy Discusses Her Change Into “Tina” And Where She Goes From Here

HoodCelebrityy is now Tina.

Under her old moniker, Tina Pinnock – her government name – amassed millions and millions of views/streams/plays on a myriad of platforms. She garnered a granite-like fanbase that has grown with her through the years. Since exploding on the scene, the Jamaican-born singer/rapper has gradually matured and evolved. “What inspired the name change is growth,” Tina said recently. “I feel like I’ve grown so much as an artist, as a human – my sound has grown so much. I’m evolving.”

Admittedly, there have been some issues with the name HoodCelebrityy and she said she had do what she had to do to allow for that creative expansion.

Continuing, She said, “(I’m)about to go to the next level with me in my career and the next level where I won’t be able to be put in a box, cause I kept it real with y’all. They were trying to keep HoodCelebrityy in a box and for my fans, for people who love and support me and want to see me be at my full potential, HoodCelebrityy did her time. Now it’s Tina to take it to the next level.”

To prove her intent, she’s dropped a bevy of songs spewing hardcore bars and also riding the riddim. Furthering her effort, she’s talking to AllHipHop’s Jonny Fastlane. She explains the death of her old self and the rebirth of her new future.

The Weeknd Sought To Challenge Himself By Making HBO Show ‘The Idol’

The Weeknd explained why he ventured into the world of television.

Playwright Jeremy O. Harris talked to The Weeknd about the singer’s upcoming HBO series The Idol in Interview Magazine. The Canadian artist discussed his desire to see what he could do as a filmmaker.

“I want to challenge myself,” he said. “That alone ends up challenging my audience because they’ve been on this ride with me for 13, 14 years. They know that I never do anything the same as I did before. I let them know that at the beginning. Right after House of Balloons, I was like, “I’m going to give you Thursday,” which sounds nothing like House of Balloons and polarized a lot of my fans. It works a lot of times and sometimes it doesn’t, but what I know is that I do challenge myself, and this was a challenge.”

The Weeknd mentioned he approached his albums like a filmmaker. He was excited to finally put that mindset to work for his own TV show.

“This was something that I’ve always wanted to do,” he said. “Film and TV, mainly film, has always been kind of the heartbeat of everything I do artistically. If you see my music videos, even sonically, everything is so cinematic and referential to films that I obsess over.”

The Idol will be shown at the 2023 Cannes Festival in May. HBO hasn’t announced a premiere date for the series.

Pete Rock Echoes Drake’s Sentiments On AI: “It’s Mad Disrespectful”

Pete Rock has made his opinion on artificial intelligence perfectly clear.

On Sunday (April 16), the lauded Hip-Hop producer took his thoughts to Twitter, writing, “AI is mad disrespectful and if y’all dont see that but think this AI stuff is dope then you are a part of the problem. They cant beat Black culture, so what do they do when they cant measure natural talent? Silly s### like AI! AI is such a cowardly act that bears no real soul or feeling.”

Drake feels similarly. Last week, the OVO boss took to his Instagram Stories to react to an AI-generated song using his voice to cover Ice Spice’s “Munch” single.

Drake commented on the AI-generated music following a Financial Times report, which detailed Universal Music Group’s efforts to block AI companies from accessing its copyrighted work.

“This is the final straw AI,” Drake wrote.

UMG urged Apple Music, Spotify and other streaming platforms to act in response to the proliferation of AI-generated music. AI companies used copyrighted songs to train bots, allowing users to create faux tracks.

UMG told the Financial Times, “We have become aware that certain AI systems might have been trained on copyrighted content without obtaining the required consents from, or paying compensation to, the rightsholders who own or produce the content.”

Teyana Taylor Shuns “Nepo Baby” Label; Says Her Career Was Hard Earned

Teyana Taylor is adamant she isn’t a “nepo baby.”

During a chat with Jeremy O. Harris for the latest issue of https://www.interviewmagazine.com/film/teyana-taylor-is-mother Interview magazine, the actress/singer was asked to weigh in on the debate over the term, which typically refers to the children of celebrities who have succeeded in pursuing Hollywood careers.

“I’ve seen all these tweets like, ‘That’s crazy. I never knew Teyana was a nepo baby,’ and I’m like, ‘Tell me who my celebrity parents are?'” she replied, referring to her mother Nikki Taylor, who works in the fashion industry. “Let’s be clear. My mom was literally a workaholic, she worked her ass off to make sure I had everything that I needed.”

And as for how she landed an appearance on the MTV reality show “My Super Sweet 16” in 2007, Teyana explained that the gig was orchestrated by Pharrell Williams and her team at the time.

“By the time we got to my sweet 16, I had just signed my first contract with Star Trak, Pharrell Williams’s label, and me, my mom and Pharrell, and the label, we came together,” the 32-year-old continued. “That was from her hard-earned money and my hard-earned money from getting my record deal. I was just this little Harlem girl, and we sat down and watched ‘Sweet 16,’ and I knew I wanted to set the tone. I’m from New York. I don’t want no car. I want a bike. You feel me?”

Halsey hasn’t addressed the departure on social media and it’s unclear where she’s headed. Stay tuned for updates.

NDO Champ Hungry To Fight Roy Jones Jr. In Celebrity Boxing Match

Bodybuilder NDO Champ discussed his upcoming bout with boxer Roy Jones Jr. in an interview with AllHipHop’s Chuck Creekmur.

NDO Champ expressed his excitement for the celebrity boxing match, mentioning how “hungry” he is to face a former world champion. He praised his 54-year-old opponent ahead of their press conference, which is scheduled to take place in Newark, New Jersey on April 22.

“[Jones is] a very intelligent fighter,” he told AllHipHop. “He’s very smart. He’s one of the best pound-for-pound fighters alive. As a professional athlete, I already know it takes hard work and dedication to go into that fight.”

Earlier this month, former UFC Lightweight champion Anthony Pettis defeated Jones via majority decision in a boxing match. NDO Champ hopes to hand Jones another loss when they step into the ring on May 13.

“I gotta bring the fight to him,” the bodybuilder said. “I gotta come in, jab, move around, pivot, do all of that … Make it work, tire him down. But at the same time, I gotta work on myself – breaking down my muscle, building my endurance and staying away from that uppercut he always throws and that sneaky jab.”

Tiwa Savage Almost Kidnapped By Low Down Dirty Thugs But Cops Bust The Suspects

The Nigeria Police Force Criminal Investigation Department in Lagos has reportedly arrested multiple suspects in the alleged attempted kidnapping of Tiwa Savage. According to The Guardian, the department’s spokesperson, CSP Oluniyi Ogundeyi, confirmed the arrests to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN).

”Yes, we have some suspects,” Ogundeyi said. “They are in our custody. They are about four.”

News of the attempted kidnapping broke on Friday (April 14). The failed plot was allegedly planned by the Nigerian artist’s new domestic staff, who’d been entrusted with her private information. The staff reportedly trailed Savage and shared the information with the would-be kidnappers.

Savage’s private security and the Nigeria Police stepped in and thwarted the crime. The singer’s team addressed the incident on Instagram with a statement. It read: “We can confirm that on Thursday 13th April 2023 there was a major security breach at the residence of Tiwa Savage. A number of suspects were caught and are currently being held under investigation at Alagbon Police Station, Ikoyi. Ms Savage and her family are safe and well.”

EXCLUSIVE: Nipsey Hussle & Estate Beat $5M Lawsuit Filed By Singer

A $5 million lawsuit against the estate of late rapper Nipsey Hussle has been dismissed by a judge, according to court documents obtained by AllHipHop.com.

The suit was filed by Los Angeles-based singer Tasleema Yasin, who claimed to be an uncredited co-author on Hussle’s single “Hussle & Motivate.”

Yasin previously worked with Nipsey Hussle on several tracks before his tragic death in 2019.

In her lawsuit, Yasin claimed that she wrote a “prominent vocal phrase” in the “Victory Lap” song and contributed to the song’s chorus and countermelody.

She initially sought an unspecified amount of money, pending accounting details from the rapper’s label.

According to court documents, an initial settlement offer of $100,000 was made to Yasin, along with a 10% share of the masters’ royalties from the song and three other tracks.

However, Yasin alleged that the terms of the agreement were not honored, prompting her to seek damages of at least $7.5 million. She later offered to settle for $5 million.

The judge issued an order requiring Yasin to serve the summons and complaint within 90 days after filing the complaint.

However, the court found that Yasin had not diligently prosecuted the action and failed to respond to the order to show cause in writing by a specified deadline of April 4, 2023.

As a result, the judge dismissed the case on the grounds of lack of prosecution earlier this week.

This outcome brings a close to the legal battle surrounding Nipsey Hussle’s estate and provides some closure for the late rapper’s family and fans.

EXCLUSIVE: Ice T’s Says Giving Game on New Podcast Is “Retribution” For Life of Crime

Recently Ice-T spoke with AllHipHop Senior Correspondent Jake Crates about his new iHeartRadio podcast “Ice-T’s Daily Game.”

Speaking with the GRAMMY Award-winning artist and acclaimed actor, AllHipHop learned about the motivations behind Ice-T’s new podcast and the lasting impact that the cultural icon looks to have on this world.

“I always tell people I’ve been on both sides of the gun. I’ve been a bad person. When I was coming up, I’m a light-skinned dude named Tracy growing up in gang-infested South Central Los Angeles. So I said, ‘I have to be predator vs prey.’ I was on some negative sh*t for a lot of my life,” Ice-T said.

“I was like, damn man, I was an orphan, I’m dealt this bad hand. I ain’t got that, f### everybody. By taking that energy, I was able to attract cats like myself and survive, so to speak. But that never was me. That was what I had (to do) and the armor I had to put on to survive LA by myself.”

Packaged in short five-minute episodes, Ice-T is giving back with quick advice that’s easily relatable no matter who is listening.

Undoubtedly achieving OG status in the game of rap and life, Ice-T’s perspective is distinctively fresh as he recounts his personal experiences and gives game in episodes each weekday.

“As you evolve and you make it to another side of life, where now you’re legit, you ain’t carrying guns, you not in that world no more, you realize how beautiful it is not to have that dark cloud over you. When you’re doing negative stuff, you are living under a dark cloud,” Ice-T recalled.

“You don’t know, you don’t know if they coming to see you. You got people saying, ‘On-site, we finna take off on you.’ You’re living, you’re sleeping – you’re in a weird warp. You hustling, you don’t know if the feds is in the rearview, you don’t know what the f###. Once that’s over, and you ain’t got no beef, and you not really trippin’ about that, it’s like a whole new world. It’s like, damn, the underworld is dark and sinister. Now I’m over here in this legit world.”

In each episode of his show, Daily Game, Ice unveils one carefully chosen quote or words of wisdom which has been carefully researched by his team. Describing the episodes as “maybe retribution” these days, Ice-T has no tolerance for “negative s###.”

“Giving game is like giving back, it’s like I’m gonna give you back some game so that maybe I can help you. It’s a way of… maybe its retribution, it’s like I done been bad, but now I’m trying to be good, you know?  So I got no bad intentions for nobody. I don’t talk about negative s###. If you bring up some negative s###, I shut it down. I don’t hang around n##### that’s like, ‘We should do this or that.’ Because I grew up around those kinds of do-low m############ and it’s like, ‘Yo that’s not a part of me anymore, ever.’”

E-40 Cites “Racial Bias” After He’s Kicked Out Of Kings Vs. Warriors Game

E-40 is not just a Bay Area rap legend, he’s also a dedicated basketball fan. On Saturday (April 15), Forty Water attended the Golden State Warriors vs. Sacramento Kings game at Golden 1 Center in Sac Town. In a video making the rounds online, E-40 appears to engage in some kind of argument with several other people in the crowd. He’s ultimately ejected from the game midway through the fourth quarter.

E-40 later addressed the incident on social media and blamed racial bias for his removal.

“On Saturday night, I was subjected to disrespectful heckling over the course of the Warriors-King game in Sacramento. During the fourth quarter, I finally turned around and addressed one heckler in an assertive but polite manner. Yet, shortly thereafter, Kings’ security approached me, assumed that I instigated the encounter and proceeded to kick me out of the arena. Unfortunately, it was yet another reminder that—despite my success and accolades as a musician and entrepreneur—racial bias remains prevalent.

“Security saw a disagreement between a Black man and a white woman and immediately assumed that I was at fault. I’ve attended countless NBA games throughout my lifetime and have always prided myself in my professionalism, so this experience has been jarring. I was absolutely humiliated by the Kings’ security team and I’m calling on the franchise to investigate the appalling conduct that transpired.”

E-40 has courtside seats at Golden State’s Chase Center next to the Warriors bench. He’s even joined the Warriors’ contingent when it visited the White House earlier this year to celebrate 2022’s NBA championship. Watch the clip above.

Saweetie Is Looking To Play A Villain In A Blockbuster Movie

Saweetie hopes to appear in more film and TV projects in the future.

After bursting onto the music scene in 2017, the Best Friend hitmaker wasted no time booking roles on TV shows, with appearances on “Grown-ish,” “Bel-Air,” and “Cooking with Paris” already under her belt.

Yet, she has a much bigger goal for her acting career – she wants to play a villain in the DC superhero movies.

“I can see myself doing more TV and film projects. I definitely want to be a supervillain in the DC movies,” she told Metro.co.uk. “I dressed up as Harley Quinn, I believe Mystique is Marvel, but I also dressed up as Mystique – I love getting into character and dressing up. I love ‘Fast and Furious.'”

Saweetie, real name Diamonté Harper, would also like to return to the “Fresh Prince of Bel-Air” reimagining after playing a version of herself in the second season.

“It was so cool, the cast were so inviting and welcoming. I would love to come back and shoot another episode with them,” she added.

Despite being on the music scene for over five years, Saweetie has yet to release her debut album.

However, she assured the outlet that it would drop before the end of the year, noting that she was “working” on the record and “really focused on (her) craft” right now.
