Rihanna Exposes Truth About Her Motherhood Challenges

Rihanna revealed deep “resentment” as she navigates the tricky crossroads between motherhood and her powerhouse career.

The Grammy-winning superstar and beauty mogul, who welcomed two sons, RZA and Riot, in 2022 and 2023, respectively, with rapper boyfriend A$AP Rocky, confessed openly to Harper’s Bazaar that balancing her demanding schedule with the responsibilities of motherhood has been anything but easy.

“Every decision I make is about them, but everything I do that I love takes away from them,” Rihanna explained frankly. “So I have a weird resentment towards the things I love. You almost feel like something is always suffering for you to show up somewhere.”

Known for her chart-topping hits and billion-dollar beauty empire, the 37-year-old Barbadian icon shed light on the complexities she faces behind her public persona, describing how her busy lifestyle often splits her attention, leaving her struggling to fully engage in any given task.

“When you show up, it’s not 100 percent because there’s something else on the wheel. It’s actually given me a lot more self-guilt,” she continued. “I don’t like letting people down, but I also know that most of the time, it’s me letting myself down, which means something has to change, but everything is on the wheel all the time.”

The “Diamonds” singer candidly acknowledged to Harper’s Bazaar the constant inner tug-of-war between motherhood and her dedication to her career.

Rihanna admitted she frequently has to remind herself that juggling both worlds was her conscious choice.

“I’m trying to find a balance so that I feel fulfilled when I show up for something, so I don’t feel guilty,” she stated.

Flau’jae Johnson Scores Big For Families Struggling With Debt Across Louisiana

Flau’jae Johnson just scored big for Louisiana families by teaming up with Experian to help eliminate $5 million worth of consumer debt.

The junior guard from LSU women’s basketball isn’t just dribbling up the court—she’s dribbling toward financial literacy and tackling debt head-on.

“It’s hard to create a winning financial game plan when you are blocked by debt,” said Flau’jae Johnson, LSU guard. “I am excited to partner with Experian to empower families in the state and across the country so they can become financial champions of their future.”

Experian, the financial services giant, announced it will clear the consumer debt of 5,000 Louisiana households, totaling a hefty $5 million.

And the stakes are getting higher: for every win LSU clinches in the upcoming college basketball tournament, Experian will add another $100,000 to the debt relief pot, maxing out at an additional half-million dollars.

To execute this ambitious plan, Experian enlisted the expertise of ForgiveCo, a Public Benefit Corporation specializing in managing and canceling consumer debts.

The initiative targets Louisiana specifically, a state identified by the U.S. Census Bureau as having one of the nation’s highest poverty rates, making the program incredibly impactful.

Alongside the debt cancellation, Experian offers the beneficiaries a complimentary one-year premium membership.

The membership includes full access to their Experian credit reports, FICO Scores, and credit monitoring across three bureaus. Beneficiaries will also gain access to CreditLock and assistance with subscription cancellations and bill negotiations to save money.

Dacy Yee, president of Experian Consumer Services, emphasized the importance of addressing overwhelming debt, noting that Experian’s resources are designed to help consumers navigate harsh economic conditions.

Yee expressed optimism for the initiative’s potential impact, stating, “We hope this debt relief and access to Experian tools will help beneficiaries in Louisiana move towards a healthier financial future.”

With March Madness approaching, Louisiana’s basketball enthusiasts have more reason than ever to root passionately for LSU.

Every basket Johnson sinks could translate into tangible financial relief for thousands of families across the state, linking the excitement on the court directly to economic hope in Louisiana communities.

Kim Kardashian Admits Ignoring Kanye West’s Jewelry Advice Ended Badly

Kim Kardashian experienced the glamor of Paris Fashion Week transform into a nightmare robbery after ignoring Kanye West’s prophetic jewelry advice.

In a chat with sister Khloé Kardashian, Kim revisited the chilling incident in October 2016, recalling a crucial warning from her now ex-husband Kanye.

After she had flaunted two extravagant diamond rings online, Kanye strongly advised against wearing both simultaneously, fearing unwanted attention from thieves.

“Kanye saw it and he goes, ‘Don’t you ever wear both of your rings at the same time. Are you looking to get robbed?'” Kim recounted on the latest episode of “The Kardashians.”

The luxurious pair of rings in question were no ordinary accessories.

Kanye first popped the question to Kim in 2013 with a cushion-cut diamond engagement ring weighing an impressive 15 carats.

He later upgraded the bling factor in 2016 with a dazzling 20-carat rock reportedly valued at around $4 million.

Ironically, the only piece of jewelry Kim chose not to pack for her Paris trip was the original 15-carat engagement ring.

“My first one that I got engaged to Kanye (with) was a cushion cut and that was the only piece of jewellery I owned that I didn’t take to Paris,” Kim shared.

Unfortunately, Kim’s decision to bring the larger ring to Paris Fashion Week became a costly mistake.

In a terrifying encounter that made global headlines, masked thieves stormed her Parisian hotel suite, stealing approximately $10 million worth of jewelry, including the upgraded diamond.

The traumatic robbery prompted Kim to stop wearing jewelry publicly altogether. Years later, Kim hinted she may finally be ready to embrace jewelry again.

She also revealed a heartfelt plan for the original ring Kanye proposed with, involving their eldest daughter, North, now 11 years old.

“That one, I’m gonna give to Northy, because she was with me when I got engaged and she held it after and I took a photo and she was just, like, a few months old,” she smiled.

Kim and Kanye officially parted ways in 2021, finalizing their divorce the following year. They share four children together, with North being their firstborn.

Ne-Yo Explains How He “Schedules” Time With Four Girlfriends

Ne-Yo recently exposed his quirky romance involving four girlfriends on Instagram, sparking curiosity and online debate.

The Grammy-winning R&B star, known for hits like “Miss Independent,” went viral in February when he openly shared details about living in a polyamorous relationship with four women.

Now, Ne-Yo, 45, is giving the public an inside look at how he manages the complexity of his unique romantic arrangement.

Taking to Instagram, the singer playfully addressed public curiosity surrounding his love life, posting a multi-image slideshow and writing, “Since the world is so intrigued, I guess I should introduce my loves properly. Ladies and gents, I present my pyramid: Cristina aka PB (Pretty Baby), Arielle aka TF (Twin Flame), Moneii PF (Phoenix Feather), and Bri (Sexy Lil’ Somethin’).”

Ne-Yo didn’t stop there—he went on Big Boy’s Neighborhood podcast, giving fans further insight into how he juggles the logistics of his unconventional arrangement.

With his busy touring schedule and career commitments, the star explained he coordinates his time with each partner.

“I do the schedule because I’m the busiest,” Ne-Yo said candidly. “I’m the one that always got something to do. For example, on this tour, I’ll let this one come out for seven days then she goes home, then this one comes out for seven days, and this one comes out for seven days, and then we do something all together. It’s a beautiful thing.”

The artist emphasized the harmony among his partners, describing their mutual respect and friendship as essential to the relationship’s success.

“Mind you, again, they all get along with each other, so they have no problem hanging out with each other,” he shared.

While the singer’s romantic choices may not align with traditional norms, his willingness to publicly explore and share his experience highlights evolving conversations about love, relationships and personal boundaries in today’s entertainment culture.

“I think one of the most important things about this is understanding that these are four individual women that need their individual time,” he said.

Kanye West Declares “War” On Ex-Wife Kim Kardashian

Kanye West and his ex-wife, Kim Kardashian, are gearing up for battle—or at least that’s how it seems. On Saturday (March 15), the polarizing rapper/producer posted a screenshot of a recent text exchange the former couple had involving their eldest daughter, North West.

Evidently, Kardashian is adamant she holds the trademark to the young girl’s name and doesn’t want her appearing on a song featuring Diddy. It appears Kardashian served West with some kind of legal document barring North from being on the track.

“I’m never speaking with you again,” West begins, to which Kardashian responds, “I asked u at the time if I can trademark her name. You said yes. When she’s 18 it goes to her. So stop. I sent paper work over so she wouldn’t be in the Diddy song to protect her. One person has to trademark! We agreed when they were born I would get all of our kids names and trademarks so no one else would take them.”

West replies, “Amend it or I’m going to war. And neither of us will recover from the public fallout. You’re going to have to kill me.” He later tweeted part of the letter he received from his ex-wife, which reads, “Kim is the sole and exclusive owner of all trademarks relating to North West’s name, including North West Mark.

“Ye’s use of North’s name, likeness and trademark in connection with this recording is not only a violation of the parties’ 2022 Stipulated Judgment as the parties share joint legal custody, but also an infringement under state and federal laws. Kim does not believe that participation in this project is in North’s best interest and asked…”

It ends there. Despite Kim Kardashian’s wishes, West posted a clip of the song with Diddy, Christian Combs and North West anyway.

Kim Kardashian and Kanye West’s divorce was a highly publicized event that marked the end of their eight-year relationship. The couple, who married in 2014, began experiencing marital issues that culminated in Kardashian filing in February 2021.

The reasons behind their split were attributed to “irreconcilable differences,” with sources suggesting that Kardashian’s decision was influenced by her desire to prioritize her children’s well-being and her own sanity. West’s public mental health struggles and bid for the U.S. presidency were also cited as contributing factors to the breakdown of their marriage.

The divorce was finalized on November 29, 2022, with both parties agreeing to joint physical and legal custody of their four children: North, Saint, Chicago and Psalm. As part of the settlement, West was required to pay $200,000 per month in child support and share half of the children’s medical, educational and security expenses.

The couple also divided their properties, with Kardashian receiving several homes in California and Idaho. Despite the challenges they faced during the divorce process, they remained committed to their co-parenting relationship.

West is currently on another Twitter tirade, referring to himself as “the prophet.” More to come.

Donald Trump Goes Viral After He’s#### In Face With Reporter’s Microphone

Donald Trump experienced an unexpected incident during a press conference at Joint Base Andrews in Maryland on Friday (March 14). While addressing reporters on topics, including the situation in Gaza, a boom microphone accidentally struck Trump in the face.

Equipped with a fuzzy windscreen known as a “dead cat,” the mic made contact with Trump’s lips and left cheek, causing him to recoil slightly. The incident caught both Trump and the assembled press off guard, leading to a brief moment of silence.

Trump’s initial reaction to the mishap was a mix of surprise and humor. After initially glaring at the reporter responsible for the microphone, he quipped, “She just made television tonight. She just became a big story tonight.”

The microphone operator, whose identity hasn’t been revealed, was heard apologizing for the accident. The moment quickly went viral on social media, eliciting various reactions from supporters and critics alike.

While some viewed it as a potential security concern, others saw it as an embarrassing accident for the press. Despite the unexpected interruption, Trump continued the press conference, tackling issues such as the ongoing conflict in Ukraine and discussions regarding the release of Israeli hostages held by Hamas.

Trump spent Saturday (March 25) learning about a coordinated protest action called “Postcards to Trump,” where opponents are sending postcards to the White House expressing their opposition.

He also reportedly launched large-scale strikes against Yemen’s Houthi faction in response to their attacks on shipping in the Red Sea. He warned that “hell will rain down upon you” if they don’t cease their offensive and also issued a stern warning to Iran to stop supporting the Houthis.

Additionally, he signed a stopgap spending bill that averts a partial government shutdown. This bill was passed by Congress earlier this week.

Snoop Dogg Eyes Death Row Global? Are International Artists Key To Label’s Next Chapter?

Snoop Dogg and global expansion are one and the same. But as it relates to Death Row Records, not so much. Snoop acquired the iconic label in 2022 and we’ve been in love with the throwback vibes. I heard a bit of a rumor that there’s going to be a push into international territory.

Since the Doggfather took the reins, we’ve had some motion in the new era. But honestly, nothing has rocked the culture like Death Row did in the ’90s. The Row defined West Coast gangsta rap. But it’s been more about legacy than new legends.

Snoop Dogg: News, Rumors & More

Word on the boulevard is that Death Row Records is looking to go global, possibly scouting for international talent. Now that is interesting indeed. Recently we have seen that some international acts have displayed their own “gangsta,” but none have truly caught on.

There might be something poetic about all this. Do you think others can redefine what it all means? America is really about the Death Row life, but others are far more revolutionary. We’ve already seen Latin America, Africa and Europe bring strong Hip-Hop movements of their own. You never know. And Snoop is a real boss.

Dr. Dre and Snoop recently got together for Missionary. But what if that project was with new artists? Dre gave up his stake in Death Row long ago, but his blueprint still looms. Maybe there’s a new way to bring Dre in? The West Coast may be the foundation, but the world is the future.

This is just something I heard. I heard some other stuff, but it’s not fit to print! Shout out to Snoop!

Kim Kardashian Heartbroken By O.J. Simpson Estate Over Bible Battle

Kim Kardashian’s sentimental $15,000 offer to reclaim her late father’s personalized Bible was turned down by O.J. Simpson’s estate executors, leaving the reality star facing an uncertain online auction battle instead.

The Bible, a customized edition of The Living Bible, was originally a gift from Kim’s father, famed attorney Robert Kardashian, to Simpson shortly after the former NFL superstar’s arrest in connection with the brutal 1994 murders of Nicole Brown Simpson and Ron Goldman.

Kim Kardashian, who passed away in 2003 at age 59, had penned a deeply personal message of encouragement within its pages, intended to offer comfort and spiritual guidance during Simpson’s darkest hours.

“O.J. This book will help. God loves and he will speak to you with his words. Read this book everyday. God has a definite plan for your life. You are his child and he will use you again. I love you and God loves you,” the heartfelt inscription reads.

O.J. Simpson estate executor Malcolm LaVergne confirmed that Kim Kardashian recently submitted a $15,000 bid to secure the sentimental keepsake privately.

However, LaVergne explained that the estate was already committed to selling the Bible through Goldin Auctions, making Kim’s offer impossible to accept.

“The amount is why I had no choice, because why would I spend $15,000 of estate money – why would I spend $15,000 in attorney’s fees – to sell it to Kim for $15,000?” LaVergne remarked candidly to People. “That’s a zero-sum game. That’s a bad business model. If Kim had offered $150,000 for it, we would’ve been in court getting this approved outside of the auction.”

With the online auction still underway until March 30, Kim, 44, can bid alongside other potential buyers. Currently, the Bible’s bidding price is $9,800, even lower than Kardashian’s private offer.

LaVergne quipped, “She may even get it cheaper than the $15,000, so who knows.”

Robert Kardashian famously remained by O.J. Simpson’s side throughout the dramatic eight-month criminal trial in 1995, ultimately witnessing Simpson’s acquittal of murder charges related to the stabbing deaths of Nicole Brown Simpson and Ron Goldman.

Yet, two years later, Simpson was held liable in a civil trial and ordered to pay $34 million to the Goldman family, a judgment he largely left unpaid.

Simpson himself died in 2024 at age 76 following a battle with prostate cancer.

Lil Gotit Reveals How He Uses Connection To Late Brother Lil Keed To Access His Music Vault

Lil Gotit has shared how he managed to crack his late brother Lil Keed’s hard drive in order to unlock the vault of music he left behind.

During an exclusive interview with Atlanta’s 96.1 The Beat, Lil Gotit spoke about he and Keed’s upcoming album Fraternal, revealing the heartbreaking yet inspiring moment that led to the creation of the project. After the tragic passing of Lil Keed in 2022, Gotit set out to finish what his brother had started, diving deep into Keed’s vault of unreleased music.

“I told my momma, ‘Hey, momma come drop that boy’s [Lil Keed’s] hard drive to me’,” he said in part. “Boi it took me two hours to figure out that boy’s password,” he added while laughing.

The password was a mystery, written nowhere and only known to Keed himself. But Gotit knew his brother well, which is why he says he was able to hack it in a matter of hours.

“I just thought to myself, ‘Keed, he used to be simple with it’, but he’d make things hard at the same time,” Gotit explained. After a moment of intuition, Gotit cracked the code, unlocking a treasure trove of tracks from his brother’s vault.

“I tried something, and boom! It opened right up. A million songs popped up. I said, ‘Wait, I got the vault. I got the real vault!’” he said.

What followed was a musical journey through the heart of Lil Keed’s unreleased material, which Gotit believes was guided by his brother’s spirit. Gotit immediately began adding his own verses to tracks, including collaborations with stars like Tee Grizzley and Ty Dolla $ign.

“I grabbed some of the hard stuff from there,” he said. “It’s like Keed’s spirit is still right here with me.”

The album is set to feature 20 tracks, including the duo’s new single “CASH BROTHERS” and is a collection of music that spans the brothers’ collaborations from 2019 to 2022. Gotit described how much of the album came together organically, in the studio with Keed in LA, working tirelessly on their sound.

“We were recording every day,” he remarked. “We really just vibed out. A lot of the music came from just chilling in the studio, bouncing off each other.”

Yet, the personal stakes of Fraternal are undeniably deep. The project represents more than just music—it’s a testament to the bond the brothers shared and Gotit’s commitment to honoring Keed’s legacy.

“This album, it’s like a brotherly love wave,” he said. “When I play it for people, even other rappers, everyone has their favorite song. It’s something real. Something Keed would’ve wanted.”

Lil Keed’s tragic passing left a void in the Hip-Hop world—one that Gotit has tried to fill with the music they once created together. Keed’s sudden death, attributed to natural causes in May 2022, sent shockwaves through the industry and devastated those who were closest to him, particularly Gotit.

“Keed was all about working hard, pushing yourself in the studio,” he said. “He always said, ‘Keep going, keep recording.'”

Lizzo Confesses To Suicidal Thoughts Amid Troubling Legal Issues

Lizzo revealed heartbreaking struggles with depression and suicidal thoughts during an emotional performance at LA’s The Wiltern.

The “Good As Hell” superstar stunned the audience with her confession, describing the turmoil she endured amid recent legal controversies, including lawsuits accusing her of workplace misconduct.

Lizzo explained openly to the crowd how the pressure had spiraled into overwhelming despair.

“About a year and a half ago – it’s so hard for me to talk about – I was in such a dark, deep depression,” Lizzo told the hushed crowd. “I was so heartbroken by the world and so deeply hurt that I didn’t want to live anymore, and I was so deeply afraid of people that I didn’t want to be seen. Eventually I got over that fear.”

The Grammy-winning songstress, known for her empowering anthems and contagious positivity, described how a profound interaction with a stranger helped her regain strength.

She recalled the moment poignantly during the performance, saying, “Something miraculous happened. Somebody, who I didn’t know, looked at me and said, ‘Lizzo, I love you.’ And they reached out, and I reached back, and we hugged, and it felt so damn good.”

Lizzo didn’t hold back when emphasizing the significance of that encounter, calling it “f**king life-saving.”

The emotional revelation comes in the wake of legal troubles that began earlier in 2023, when three former backup dancers and an ex-stylist sued the star, alleging inappropriate conduct, sexual harassment and the fostering of a damaging workplace environment.

Lizzo has steadfastly denied all accusations, and recently, she was dismissed as a defendant from the stylist’s lawsuit.

However, other legal matters remain unresolved.

Outkast Posts Rare ’90s Footage Of The Dungeon In “Homage” To Atlanta

Outkast—the duo of legendary MCs André 3000 and Big Boi—helped put Atlanta Hip-Hop on the map. Beginning in the early ’90s, albums such as Southernplayalisticadillacmuzik and ATLiens proved indefinitely “the South has something to say.”

It all started in the basement of Rico Wade’s mother’s house, which Wade had nicknamed The Dungeon. There, along with his Organized Noize brethren Sleepy Brown and Ray Murray, Wade crafted enduring masterpieces for not just Outkast but also Goodie Mob, TLC and more.

On Friday (March 14), Outkast uploaded their “homage” to their relationship with Atlanta, which included some rare footage of Three Stacks and Big Boi being interviewed by Fab Five Freddy for Yo! MTV Raps.

Just 19 at the time, Dre, rocking a white Kangol, spoke about “vibing” in the studio while Daddy Fat Sax talked about some of his influences, including Eric B. & Rakim and Kurtis Blow as well as their peers, Goodie Mob and Society of Soul.

Formed in 1992 after André 3000 and Big Boi met as high school students, Outkast quickly rose to prominence two years later, when they unleashed the Organized Noize-produced Southernplayalisticadillacmuzik.

Blending Southern Hip-Hop, funk, psychedelia and jazz, their music was an innovative gumbo of sounds seasoned with intricate lyricism. Outkast released six studio albums during their time together, garnering both critical acclaim and commercial success along the way.

Their 1998 album, Aquemini, liberated Hip-Hop from any perceived constraints with its exploration of more diverse and experimental sounds. Outkast’s impact was further evident on 2003’s double album, Speakerboxxx/The Love Below, which won Album of the Year at the 46th Grammy Awards and achieved diamond certification.

Much has changed since Outkast’s last album, 2006’s Idlewild. André and Big Boi went on their last Outkast tour in 2014, and there’s little chance of them ever getting back together (although they remain close friends).

Three Stacks released an experimental jazz album, New Blue Sun, in 2023 and was nominated for a Grammy in the Album of the Year and Best Alternative Jazz Album categories at the 67th Annual Grammy Awards. The opening track, “I Swear, I Really Wanted to Make a ‘Rap’ Album but This Is Literally the Way the Wind Blew Me This Time,” was nominated for Best Instrumental Composition.

Big Boi continues to tour with Sleepy Brown and other members of the Dungeon Family, although they’ve had to do a lot of mourning in recent months. Rico Wade died suddenly in April 2024 of heart problems and his mother, Beatrice Wade, followed six months later.

King Harris Drops New EP “Be Ready” To Show His Versatility & Business Skills

King Harris flexed his entrepreneurial ambition by releasing his new seven-track EP “Be Ready” on his own label, Wild Beast Incorporated.

Raised amid Hip-Hop royalty as the son of rap legend T.I., Harris is now blazing his own path, simultaneously proving his lyrical chops and business acumen like his dad.

The EP “Be Ready” is a teaser for a forthcoming full-length album, with Harris carefully curating each track to highlight other sides of his artistry.

King Harris said he deliberately created a straightforward but mixed collection of songs to preview a more extensive project he’s planning.

“I made it short and simple, like a teaser for the album,” Harris told AllHipHop.com. “The album is going to consist of all the vibes that was produced out into the EP, you know. So I wanted the people to see every click on the EP is a different vibe and a different kind of swag to show my versatility.”

Beyond the music itself, Harris has ambitious plans for how he’ll market each track.

Aware of the shifting landscape in entertainment promotion, he recognizes that traditional music videos don’t always generate the same engagement as shorter, creative content.

“Nowadays content does better than videos,” Harris said. He plans to create distinctive content pieces for each track on the EP, testing audience reaction and engagement.

The strategy is clear: whichever song resonates most with listeners will get a full-scale, high-quality video treatment comparable to the visuals fans saw with his previous release, “Locked In.”

However, Harris stressed that his main focus is on delivering daily creative content that aligns with the energy and themes of each song.

He wants to consistently provide fresh visuals, keeping his audience engaged and immersed in his music.

“I’m more so trying to get more into doing content, being creative, giving my viewers and my fans something to see every day, with the song in the background, me fitting the energy of the song in the content,” Harris explained.

50 Cent Mocks Keefe D’s Jailhouse Tears Over Tupac Shakur Murder Allegations

50 Cent savagely mocked Keefe D on Instagram Friday (March 14) over a jailhouse interview depicting the Tupac Shakur murder suspect breaking down in tears.

The G-Unit mogul posted a clip of the interview on Instagram. 50 Cent didn’t hold back, captioning the video: “LOL KEEFIE NAH, THIS S### IS FUNNY. To me, he just ran his mouth until they came and got him. LOL.”

Duane Keith Davis, better known as Keefe D, remains adamant about his innocence in the 1996 killing of Hip-Hop icon Tupac Shakur.

During the ABC News interview, Keefe D broke down while discussing being separated from his grandchildren, insisting he’s been wrongfully accused.

“They got no evidence,” Keefe D claimed. “They know they don’t have nothing. Came and placed me out here, and they don’t have no gun, no car, no Keefe D, no nothing. Everybody on video but Keefe D. This is wrong.”

He further maintained he was in Los Angeles at home when the rapper was fatally wounded, claiming “20-30” individuals could vouch for his alibi.

Despite his claims, Keefe D previously admitted in interviews and his memoir Compton Street Legend that he was involved in the shooting.

Meanwhile, Keefe was recently involved in a physical altercation with another inmate at Clark County Detention Center in Las Vegas.

Footage showed the men grappling and striking each other, with Keefe D seemingly putting Hamilton in a headlock.

Corrections officers reportedly used pepper spray to separate the two, and they were later physically restrained.

Keefe D has been charged with battery by a prisoner, claiming he was “just standing his ground.”

Angie Stone Remembered By Tyler Perry, Anthony Hamilton & Keke Wyatt In Tearful Farewell

The late Angie Stone drew a star-studded crowd as music royalty, including Tyler Perry, Kirk Franklin, Musiq Soulchild, Anthony Hamilton and Keke Wyatt, gathered at Word of Faith Cathedral in Austell, Georgia, on Friday (March 14) to honor the late soul legend at her public memorial service.

The emotional tribute saw the cathedral filled to maximum capacity as mourners celebrated the soul singer’s extraordinary musical legacy.

Perry, Franklin, Hamilton, Wyatt and Musiq Soulchild each spoke movingly about Stone’s profound impact on music, praising her relentless creativity and heartfelt passion.

“Thank you for allowing us to do this, to put her to rest in the fashion of the queen that she was. To the family, I want you to know something, esepcially her children. My mother died at 64. Angie was a year younger than my mother when she passed. In her song, she said ‘time gets a little better.’ So my prayer for you is that time is kind to you,” Tyler Perry said.

The celebration of Stone’s life came less than a week after the tragic accident that claimed her life.

Angie Stone, 63, was killed on March 1 when the Sprinter van she was traveling in overturned along Interstate 65, approximately five miles south of Montgomery, Alabama.

According to authorities, the van was subsequently struck by an oncoming tractor-trailer.

While emergency responders arrived quickly, Angie Stone was pronounced dead at the scene. Everyone else traveling with her survived the collision.

Just hours before the tragedy, Stone had performed in Mobile, Alabama. A statement from Stone’s family emphasized her lasting influence.

“Angie was an example for black women and girls everywhere…Diamond and Michael along with the rest of Angie’s family want to thank you for reaching out, but also asked that you respect their privacy as they grieve the loss of their beloved mother.”

Another intimate ceremony for close family members and friends was scheduled for today (March 15) at First Nazareth Baptist Church in Columbia, South Carolina, followed by a second celebration of Stone’s remarkable life at the same location.

Tupac Shakur Murder Suspect Keefe D Breaks Down In Jail: “They Got No Evidence”

Tupac Shakur murder suspect Keefe D shed tears behind bars, expressing frustration at his separation from his grandchildren while continuing to deny any involvement in the 1996 murder of the Hip-Hop icon.

“They got no evidence,” Keefe D insisted during an interview with ABC News. “They know they don’t have nothing. Came and placed me out here, and they don’t have no gun, no car, no Keefe D, no nothing. Everybody on video but Keefe D. This is wrong.”

The 60-year-old, whose real name is Duane Keith Davis, was indicted and arrested on September 3, charged with orchestrating the infamous drive-by shooting of legendary rapper Tupac Shakur in Las Vegas nearly three decades ago.

Prosecutors contend Keefe D, an alleged former leader of a Compton Crips faction, masterminded the attack—a claim he vigorously denies.

Keefe D became emotional when discussing his family, particularly the grandchildren he’s now separated from indefinitely.

“I thought I was gonna do college with my grandkids,” he added. “They’re pretty good athletes. Eighteen years later, I did everything they asked me to do: get new friends, stop selling drugs; I stopped all that.”

Keefe D continued, ” I shouldn’t have said nothing. Shouldn’t have said nothing, and I’m innocent man, and God got my back; God will see me through this.”

Keefe D Claims Witnesses Will Clear Him In Tupac Shakur Death

Despite previously admitting in interviews and his memoir Compton Street Legend that he was in the Cadillac involved in the shooting, Keefe D argues that authorities have no physical evidence placing him at the crime scene or linking him to the murder weapon or getaway vehicle.

He insists he was at his Los Angeles home at the time of Shakur’s murder, boasting “20-30” witnesses ready to back up his alibi.

Keefe D also asserts he never authored or even read his memoir, alleging that his co-author penned the book independently, embellishing details for profit.

He contends his past confessions to detectives in 2008 and 2009, acknowledging involvement in Shakur’s killing, were fabrications designed to protect associates in unrelated drug investigations.

Keefe D argues these statements were shielded from prosecution under a “proffer agreement” and should not be used against him now.

Further complicating the case, Keefe D pointed fingers at former Death Row Records security head Reggie Wright Jr. He accuses Wright of orchestrating the crime. Wright, who was present at the club Shakur planned to attend that evening, adamantly denies all accusations.

In addition to the murder charge, Keefe D faces a separate battery accusation stemming from a jailhouse brawl with another inmate. He has pleaded not guilty, arguing self-defense.

Cardi B Flexes Culinary Skills, Shuts Down “I Don’t Cook” Claims

Cardi B has flipped from her famous “I don’t cook” lyric to proudly flaunting homemade mac and cheese.

During an Instagram Live cooking showcase on Thursday night (March 13), Cardi set the record straight about her skills in the kitchen.

Showing off a freshly made dish, she boasted, “My mac and cheese over here, good as a m###########. Let me tell you something. When I say I don’t cook, I don’t clean, it’s because I don’t want to. Because I feel like I got ADHD. I don’t give a f### what anybody say. I know I got ADHD.

“When I don’t cook and clean, it’s because I don’t want to, and, you know, I don’t really have the time for it. That’s why I hired a m############ chef, and I got a lot of kids, but I can cook.”

However, Cardi B says she expects certain favors if cooking for a partner.

“I have expectations,” she explained. “If a n#### want me to be cooking for him, I expect head every single time I cook for his m############ ass.”

On her hit collaboration with Megan Thee Stallion, “WAP,” Cardi B famously declared: “I don’t cook, I don’t clean/But let me tell you how I got this ring.”

Flavor Flav Eliminated From “The Masked Singer”—But He Still Made History

Flavor Flav is once again making headlines after appearing as the Space Ranger on Season 13 of the FOX show The Masked Singer. His appearance was marked by a historic performance in which he became the first contestant to sing a Taylor Swift song, specifically “Bad Blood.”

As the self-proclaimed “King Swiftie,” Flavor Flav expressed his admiration for Swift, praising her as one of the most important singer-songwriters of our time.

During his time on the show, Flavor Flav’s distinctive voice and signature style, including his iconic clock accessory, made it challenging for him to remain incognito. Despite the panelists’ initial confusion—with guesses ranging from Tracy Morgan to DJ Jazzy Jeff—they eventually figured out his identity before his unmasking on “Ghostbusters Night.”

Flavor Flav noted that the clues were “easy ass” and that his voice, combined with the clock belt, gave him away. Although he was eliminated early, he expressed gratitude for the experience, stating that it was on his bucket list.

Flavor Flav’s experience on The Masked Singer was marked by a sense of being cheated out of more time on the show. He felt he was eliminated too early and missed the chance to perform a third song, which he’d prepared for the Group B finals. Nonetheless, he cherished the positive feedback from the panel and audience.

During a recent Zoom interview with AllHipHop, Flav talked about his iconic career with Public Enemy and his admiration for Chuck. He also spilled on what’s next for the trailblazing group, which includes a tour with Guns N’ Roses.

“We’re scheduled to go out on tour with Guns N’ Roses this summer and we’re working on some new songs right now to bring out on the road,” Flav said. “We got some fresh brand new songs right now that we’re putting together, and we’re almost done with them. We’re just putting the finishing touches on them, a couple of little knick-knacks, tweaks, this and that. Boom. Then y’all will have a fresh brand new EP from me and Chuck.”

TDE President Punch Trolls Kanye West Over Criticism Of Playboi Carti’s Kendrick Lamar Collab

Top Dog Entertainment President Punch has responded to Kanye West, slight of Kendrick Lamar over his appearance on Playboi Carti’s new album.

On Friday (March 14), Ye jumped on Twitter and began reacting to Carti’s MUSIC album bright and early in the morning around 8AM PST. Though he previously tweeted positive remarks praising the album and “This chorus” on songs such as “CRANK” he also shared some criticism about one of the three tracks Kendrick appears on. In particular, Ye appeared to use the sandwhich method, offering the good and the bad on top of each other in the critical tweet.

“I DONT LIKE KENDRICK LAMARS MUSIC,” Kanye wrote in the judgmental remark before concluding, “HE RAPS VERY GOOD BUT I DIDNT NEED TO HEAR HIM ON CARTI ALBUM.”

It didn’t take Punch long to catch wind of Kanye’s shady comment about Kendrick, to which he responded by trolling the Chicago-bred lyricist.

“Aye…What’s up with this Kanye West n####,” Punch tweeted.

Freddie Gibbs also chimed in, appearing to catch a good laugh over the situation at Ye’s expense.

“Freddie what’s wrong with this n#### man! 😂😂😂,” Punch wrote, prompting Gibbs to respond, “If I speak they gon say I’m hatin lol.”

A number of users also immediately pushed back on Ye’s criticism, including one who pointed out that he even had a hand in bringing to life one of the records Kendrick is featured on.

“YE he is on the song you produced,” the user replied in the thread of the tweet.

Another user dug up tweets from almost 10-years ago to the day, in which Kanye appears to be praising Kendrick’s music.

“Finally back in the studio starting my day by listening to Kendrick’s new album,” he wrote in part. “Thank you for the music and messaging!!!”

In another follow-up tweet, Ye added, “Kendrick is an inspiration thank you for the vibrations and the spirit, your meaning message and execution our gifts to the world.”

Kanye’s latest dig at Kendrick follows remarks he made last month, when he claimed he’s the only man capable of defeating Kendrick Lamar in a battle and claiming he is “the greatest that ever existed.”

“If you rap against Kendrick Lamar, it’s really a difficult task,” he said. “But I’m a psycho genius, so…”

Offset Faces Assault Allegations Stemming From Altercation With Dispensary Security Guard

Offset may have a legal battle on his hands after he was allegedly involved in an altercation with a security guard at a cannabis dispensary.

According to TMZ, the former Migos rapper’s visit to a popular dispensary near LAX airport took a violent turn when the Offset and his entourage became embroiled in a confrontation with security staff. The incident unfolded at MedMen LAX around 9:30 PM PST. Apparently, a dispute allegedly broke out over the rapper’s identification. Offset and his group apparently clashed with a security guard who questioned whether or not the “Ric Flair Drip” MC had proper ID to purchase marijuana—a legal requirement in California.

Representatives for Offset have called the claims “ridiculous,” asserting that he had just landed at the nearby airport and would, of course, have ID in hand. Offset himself claims he was in the process of showing his ID when the situation escalated. According to his side of the story, the security guard grew aggressive, spitting in his face, which led to a physical altercation.

As more security personnel from MedMen became involved, the situation reportedly intensified. Offset allegedly struck the guard and things further escalated when the guard retaliated by spraying mace at Offset and his entourage.

The police were called to the scene shortly thereafter, but Offset and his group had already fled by the time officers arrived. Paramedics were dispatched and the security guard was taken to a local hospital. It’s unclear at this time what the extent of the guard’s injuries may be, but he is believed to have pressed charges against Offset, who continues to assert his innocence.

News of the scuffle follow an altercation Offset was involved in last November in Paris with French rapper Gazo.

This isn’t the first time Offset has found himself within legal crosshairs over a physical confrontation. In 2023, the rapper was involved in another high-profile altercation, this time at ComplexCon. A man named Daveon Clark filed a lawsuit against Offset and fellow associate YRN Murk, accusing them of assault, battery and emotional distress. Clark, a private security guard at the convention, claimed that YRN Murk spat on him after being denied entry to the event. As other security guards attempted to intervene, things turned physical, with Clark alleging that Offset also struck him in the chaos.

At the time, Offset denied any wrongdoing, insisting he was only trying to break up the fight.

“I wasn’t fighting at ComplexCon,” Offset said. “I stepped in to break up a fight caused by a booth’s security. The story is false and overshadows why I’m a regular at ComplexCon. I was there to support the culture and emerging brands and designers. I’m focused on that. I’m in a positive space. Appreciate the concern.”

Wendy Williams Outlines Future Plans Amid Guardianship Struggles

Wendy Williams is opening up about her descent into a legal guardianship while outlining her rigorous plans to escape her current restrictive circumstances.

On Friday (March 14), Williams, alongside healthcare advocate Ginalisa Monterroso, provided an eye-opening look into the origins of her guardianship and her hopes for the future during a candid interview with The View.

For the past few years, Williams has been under the supervision of a legal guardian after an incident involving suspicious activity in her bank account—later identified to have been caused by her son. Monterroso explained that the guardianship was initiated by Wells Fargo after they froze Williams’ bank account due to the unusual transactions.

“Wells Fargo froze the account and initiated a guardianship,” Moterroso explained. Initially, Williams didn’t mind the arrangement, believing it would provide protection for her finances.

“It was about my money and keeping my money safe,” Williams said. But as time passed, Williams began to feel the constraints of the guardianship.

“But at this point in my life, I want to terminate guardianship and move on with my life, if that’s possible at all,” Williams said.

However, the road to reclaiming her independence remains fraught with legal battles as a judge’s harsh words add to the growing tension.

“I didn’t realize that this person was going to take my whole entire life,” Williams shared, noting that the situation spiraled beyond her control.

What she had hoped would be temporary financial oversight turned into a life-altering experience. She described being moved from her New York home to a facility in Connecticut, where she was placed in a memory unit.

“It was horrible,” Williams said. “Nothing but grass and trees and a memory unit.” The situation worsened when her phone was taken, leaving her unable to contact family or friends.

“They took my phone, so I can’t call them,” Williams said. “I have to call them, they can’t call me.”

After a year in Connecticut, Williams was moved to another facility in New York, but she maintains that the experience remained the same.

“It’s the same thing,” Williams lamented, hinting at the emotional toll the guardianship had taken on her.

“I don’t want a guardian,” Williams said. “I want to get out of this. It’s been over three years, and it’s time for my money and my life to get back to status quo.”

When asked where she would go if her guardianship ended, Williams stated unequivocally that she plans to remain in New York.

“First of all, I’m staying in New York,” Williams said.

Williams also made it very clear that she does not want to continue living under the restrictions of a guardian, especially not her current one, Sabrina Morrisey.

“I don’t want Sabrina [Morrisey], period,” Williams said. “But I also, I don’t want guardians.”

However, Williams’s push for freedom faces a significant challenge, as Judge Lisa Sokoloff, who presides over her case, has made her frustrations clear. In a recent email to Williams’ attorney, the judge questioned how well Williams had handled the independence she was given, referencing a prior hearing where she ordered that Williams be moved to a different facility.

“I have always contended that [Wendy] will be given the independence she can handle,” Sokoloff wrote. “I question how well she has handled the independence she has been given.”

Sokoloff’s contempt for Williams’ media appearances only adds fuel to the fire. In the same email, the judge suggested even tighter restrictions if Williams continues to speak publicly.

“Tell your client that if she wants a jury, she should refrain from trying to poison the jury pool,” Sokoloff advised. The judge also made it clear that she was prepared to keep Williams in a facility against her will.

“The hospital wants to discharge her,” Sokoloff wrote. “Ms. Morrissey has facilities who, despite her behavior, are willing to assess her. She needs to go back to the Coterie until a new facility can be found.”
