DL Hughley And Mo’Nique Pull Receipts!

Mo’Nique.

Darryl Lynn Hughley.

The situation with DL Hughley and Mo’Nique is tragic. Here we have two veteran comedians and entertainers that have transcended the highest highs of comedy. And yet, we see them fighting like to average roosters in a farm.

But that’s from afar. Remember the old adage, “be careful about arguing with fools because people from a distance can’t tell who is who. “Now this is not to levy the word fool at either one of these geniuses, however as the smoke begins to clear, the truth is becoming more and more apparent.

First of all, DL Hughley presented his ultimate receipt. And that receipt basically is the contract that was in dispute. However, we knew that wasn’t going to last for long. It seem like DL gave her an out, but she didn’t take it. He showed ticket receipts and other things to show that he was the actual headliner.

She asked for it and she got it. DL Hughley presented the actual contract with certain financial data blacked out. It showed that he was indeed the headliner. It showed very clearly the run of show and other matters that simply stated that he was the one that would perform last.

But, wait a sec! Mo’ had her own deal and contract as well and dismissed his as “smoke and mirrors.” She also called his version a “deal memo.”

I cannot say who, but I will say that a person close to Mo’ in a business sense, has said that they will never work with her ever again. This is simply where things may be again. This is not to suggest that Mo’Nique’s rise will be stunted, but it does seem to suggest that there’s a tremendous amount of difficulty when working with her. Is this a male and female thing? I am not so sure that it is. She has evoked that especially with DL Hughley, but I don’t know.

The person who is our source, happens to be a woman. And she just found it extremely difficult to work with the comedian. I do think that Mo’Nique has had some completely valid grievances with the industry, but it may be how she takes on these battles that is the real deeper issue.

Now, we are seeing that Mo’Nique may be her own worst enemy. MAY. We like her. And we have been rooting for her for a very long time. We want her to win! When she got on BMF, I was ecstatic personally. I was like “Yes, this is what we have all been waiting for. Mo’Nique’s come back!“ That come back may be in jeopardy with this last dust up.

That said, I wish everybody all the best and I hope that Mo’Nique and DL Hughley can become cool again. Somehow, I don’t see that happening because of what was said on stage in front of the entire world.

And yet, Buffalo.

How GoGo Morrow Transitioned From Singing Background to Releasing Her Debut Single “In The Way”

GoGo Morrow is ready to step into the limelight as her own recording artist.

A true music lover at heart, the Philly-bred, Los Angeles-based singer-songwriter has been enthralled with music since she can remember, with a crazy track record including touring as a backup singer for Lady Gaga and Wiz Khalifa, and even having the pleasure of singing at Kanye West’s Sunday Service Choir.

But if there’s one thing you learn from being in the music industry, it’s that everyone’s path is different. GoGo’s journey in itself is a story to tell, but thanks to superproducer Harmony “H Money” Samuels, she would finally land a record deal and release her highly-anticipated debut single titled “In The Way.”

Released via B.O.E., Universal Music Canada and Interscope Records in partnership with Kenya Barris’ label venture (Khalabo), “In The Way” is paired with a vibrant music video showcasing her signature blue hair, undeniable beauty, and breathtaking vocals.

GoGo got her name from her favorite character in the film Kill Bill, directly inspired by GoGo Yubari who was a 15-year-old assassin. While the differences are apparent, it’s GoGo’s distinct, buttery voice that serves as her lethal weapon, here to swoon the hearts of all music industry and beyond. And with the release of her highly-anticipated debut single, “In The Way,” she does just that.

AllHipHop: How was it growing up in Philly?

GoGo Morrow: Growing up in Philly was really fun. I had a really fun childhood. I have 4 sisters, so I grew up in a full house of people with my mom and dad. I come from a really musical family, so there’s always music playing. Always somebody singing, always performing, dancing. It was a good time. I went to middle school in downtown Philly. Going to school, I was always around interesting people.

My middle school teacher told me about this theater program at this place called Prince Music Theater that was downtown, it was a couple of blocks from my school. I grew up singing in church, but that’s the first professional thing I started auditioning for. I joined this theater company when I was 12. From there, I fell in love with singing, performing, and dancing. Because we traveled the whole city, it was really fun.

AllHipHop: Wow, so you’ve been doing this forever?

GoGo Morrow: Literally forever. [laughs]

AllHipHop: Any specific artists that made you want to do music too?

GoGo Morrow: Absolutely, I remember I was obsessed with Brandy. I used to literally play Brandy’s album over and over again. I remember I got hooked on Never Say Never, I played it over and over again. I had a notebook, literally wrote all the lyrics to each song in this notebook. I used to rewind her riffs and learn how to riff like her. Sometimes, people say I sound like her. I think it’s because of who I studied. I studied several people, but Brandy was my main girl.

AllHipHop: Who else did you study?

GoGo Morrow: I studied Whitney Houston, Deborah Cox, Monica, Destiny’s Child, Beyonce, so many. Actually, a lot of my influence comes from the 70’s. My father loves Motown, so he played Motown in the house all day long. I learned a lot of Temptation songs, a lot of Four Tops, Stylistics, The O’Jays. I’m an old soul because of him. When I went to High School For Creative & Performing Arts,I studied classical music. I have so many different influences: gospel, R&B, classical music. I’m a conglomerate of all those things.

AllHipHop: How would you describe your sound if you could?

GoGo Morrow: If you really listen to my tone, my vibrato is very quick. That comes from my classical training. The heaviness in my voice probably comes from the gospel of me growing up in church. My technique of how I riff or do my harmonies, a lot of that comes from all the R&B I listen to. You put that together, you get GoGo. I don’t know how to identify my sound per se, I don’t think I sound like a lot of people. I have my own thing going on to be honest.

AllHipHop: Talk about coming to Los Angeles, was that for the music?

GoGo Morrow: Yeah, that was for music. My real professional career really started when I toured with Lady Gaga. I was a background singer and dancer. Before I got that gig, I’ve always wanted to do music. I was in a singing group with my sisters, but I didn’t think I could really do it. I doubted myself. When I got the Lady Gaga tour job, it fueled this fire. My passion increased now, I gotta do this! I cannot be behind the camera, I have to be on stage and feeling this energy for myself.

After the tour ended, I had a choice. I could go back out on tour with her when she started again, or I can start my own solo career. I opted to start my own solo career. I really started from scratch. I had no manager, nothing. I’d go around in Philly to clubs and ask “hey, can I perform here?” This one guy said “yeah, you can perform here.” So I put a show together. I didn’t know what I was doing, but I was basing it on what I’d been doing with Gaga. I had friends who were dancers, two of my sisters are dancers. Let me call my friends, call my sisters. Let’s put this show together, figure it out. I started doing shows around the city. Eventually, every show I started making more of a name for myself.

My former manager discovered me, he saw me at a party then found me on YouTube. He worked for Live Nation, him and I teamed up together. He linked me with a producer he knew, I started creating music. Slowly but surely, he started getting me on these Live Nation shows. I literally opened up for any and everybody that came through to Philly.

AllHipHop: That’s so tight!

GoGo Morrow: It was really really cool. I did everything. I did Powerhouse in Philly. I performed at the Wells Fargo Center, Theatre of The Living Arts. Literally everything in Philly, this went on for a few years. I reached the point where okay, I’ve done everything. What else can I do? There’s nothing else we did. I even headlined my own show, sold it out twice. I reached the plateau, I didn’t know what else to do. I said “I gotta leave Philly.” I made enough of a name for myself there where everybody’s supporting me, I had a solid fanbase. But every time I did a show, I’d start seeing the same people come over and over again. I had to find a way to reach more people. I went into this depressed phase, I didn’t know what else to do.

AllHipHop: Were you releasing music at that time?

GoGo Morrow: That’s the thing. I had songs out, but there was no momentum. Nothing was really happening, so it was no incentive for my producer to keep putting out music. We weren’t really growing. I went to a dark place, praying like “I don’t know what to do.” One day, I got a message on Twitter from this producer. I rarely ever check Twitter.

AllHipHop: Harmony?

GoGo Morrow: Yes, Harmony Samuels! We mutually know two people. Unbeknownst to me, those two people were telling him about me. I’m in Philly being depressed, like “what am I going to do?” Those two people went to him and said “I know this girl back in Philly, she’s really dope. You should link up with her.” After he talked to those people, he said he saw me on the timeline on Twitter and decided to DM me.

He said “hey, hit me up. This is my number.” Harmony Samuels? Why’s he telling me to call him?” So I called them, we had a long conversation. I told him my story. One guy’s name is Ryan Toby from the group City High and Sister Act. The other one’s an actor, his name’s Vladimir Versailles. Ryan’s from New Jersey, Vlad is from Philly. Harmony said “yeah, both Ryan and Vladimir told me about you. If you’re ever in LA, come to the studio.”

I said “Alright cool, I’ll let you know. I should be there soon.” I hung up, I had to figure out how to go to LA. I went and talked to my mom, she said “well, if you feel you have to go, you better go. You better figure it out.” I called my aunt, she worked at the airport. I said “Aunt Jackie, I need a buddy pass. I have no money.” She’s like “I got you niece, just pay me back in 3 weeks.” My aunt got me a one-way buddy pass to LA. I didn’t know what was going to happen. She said “When you’re ready to come back, just let me know the day before and I’ll get you a flight.” I’m on my way there, now I need to find somewhere to stay. Mind you, I don’t have no money for Airbnb.

AllHipHop: Were you working at all?

GoGo Morrow: No, I wasn’t working at the time because I was doing shows. That was my bread. I don’t have anywhere to stay, who can I call? I remembered last time I was here, I met this girl. Her name’s Megan Green, I’ll never forget. We became Instagram friends. I DMed her: “hey Megan, I don’t know if you remember me. I met you last year when I was in LA. I really need somewhere to stay for a week, I have this important meeting.”

Didn’t even have a meeting set up! She said “sure, you can come stay with me. I live by myself in Koreatown.” I said “omg, thank you so much.” I take my flight, I land in LA. I go to Megan’s house, she left a key for me because she’s at work. I’m in this girl’s house that I don’t know, by myself. What am I doing here? Alright, time to text Harmony. I text him “hey, I’m in LA.” I didn’t hear from him for a full 24 to 48 hours. I took a plane to meet this man, he hasn’t even responded. So he finally responds the next day.

AllHipHop: Did you follow up at all or no?

GoGo Morrow: I didn’t, I just left it. I didn’t want to sound too thirsty. I’m going to wait, hopefully he responds. He finally did, hours into the next day. He said “oh hey, I just got to New York. How long are you going to be in LA?” Mind you, it was a Wednesday. He said “I’ll be back Monday, we’ll link up when I get back.” I only asked this girl to stay there a few days. I had to go to her and say “Yo, the guy that I came here to see is not here.” She said, “nah, that’s cool. You can stay another full week. I said “omg, thank you.”

AllHipHop: Wow, that’s awesome.

GoGo Morrow: Yeah, she’s such a blessing. Such a vital part of my story. If it wasn’t for her, none of this would have happened. So I waited for him to get back. In the meantime, I found out a couple of people from Philly were here. I met up with some old guy friends from back home, they’re my brothers in music. They looked out for me, asked if I needed anything. I’m mentioning that because later on, I end up moving in with them.

I linked up with Harmony, this was the session to determine whether or not he’s really going to work with me. The song was just released, “In The Way.” That was the very first song we did.

AllHipHop: You guys held onto it this whole time?

GoGo Morrow: Yeah, literally almost 4 years old. It’s crazy. We shot another video and everything, it just wasn’t the right time. I’m so happy that we waited. After that, he said “let’s work.” We got into a groove, we started working every day. That’s when I thought, “I cannot go home! I gotta figure something out. If I leave, I’m going to lose this momentum.” I know how LA is: if you’re here, you’re here. If not, I’m moving on to the next thing. I knew I couldn’t leave, it’s my time to be here. I felt it.

Long story short, I ended up with the guys I mentioned: my friend Scott, Ali, Ant Clemons and Dre. They’re all in music, they’re producers and songwriters. They took me in. I was like Cinderella living in their house, cleaning up after them. Cooking, but it was really fun. It was a fun time. I lived with them for, two months then, I found my apartment and then I got a job, and figured it out. I started off the studio every day, until I got the job with Kanye.

AllHipHop: Kanye’s Sunday Service was a moment in time, how was it doing that choir?

GoGo Morrow: That was really cool. One of my friends from back home, his name’s Darius Coleman, was in the choir. He said “Yo, they’re looking for new people. You should come audition.” Also my friend Ant Clemons, he had started working on Kanye. He wrote “All Mine.” Those two friends were engrossed into the circle, I thought that’d be dope to be part of the Kanye family.

I went to audition, and I got it. We started rehearsals that very same evening. I went to the audition in the morning, we had rehearsal that evening. From there, all my time went to being in Sunday Service. I had to quit my job.

AllHipHop: What was your job?

GoGo Morrow: I was a nanny. [laughs] But it was fun. We travel. We were away every weekend, doing Sunday Service somewhere. That went on for almost two years, but the schedule became so hectic that I couldn’t really work on my own stuff. Harmony said “Yo Go, what are you doing? You haven’t been to a studio in weeks. Wsup?” I gotta pay my bills, I moved here. I don’t know what else you want from me.

It was a very hard trying to find balance until the pandemic hit, then everything shut down. Me and Harmony went back in the studio and hit the ground running. We recorded a whole new album. My next single that’s coming, came from that pandemic bunch of songs. After that, I had the opportunity to go back to Sunday Service. I felt I had to focus on myself and really put all my time into it. It was a blessing because I ended up signing my deal.

AllHipHop: Congrats!

GoGo Morrow: It was great that that happened, but then alright. I signed my deal, but now I can’t do anything because the world shut down. That was also the delay for me, but everything in God’s timing. Here we are. [laughs]

AllHipHop: How does it feel to have your debut single, “In The Way,” out now? I’m sure it was a long time coming.

GoGo Morrow: Honestly, it feels really good. I’ve been stressing because when are we going to release music?

Then when I saw it about to happen, oh no! Wait, we’re really about to release? [laughs] I got scared. These songs become your babies, you become so attached to them. They’re my stories. Alright, it’s not up to me how anybody feels about them. It’s up to you guys how you feel, I had no control over that so that gave me a little bit of anxiety.

But the response so far has been amazing. I’ve been getting a lot of DMs from girls, they’re like “this is my story. Thank you for writing this song.” Man, you’re welcome. It was my story, I was simply expressing myself. It’s such a blessing when you can express yourself. That’s the beauty of music, it’s a universal language. It’s always something that somebody can connect to, that’s the most rewarding part.

Lucasfilm President: Donald Glover Holds All The Cards For Lando Calrissian ‘Star Wars’ Series

Back in 2018, Walt Disney Studios and Lucasfilm released Solo: A Star Wars Story. The cast of the motion picture included Donald Glover playing Lando Calrissian.

There have been reports that a Lando Calrissian series is in the works for the Disney+ platform. CinemaBlend spoke to Lucasfilm president Kathleen Kennedy about the possible Star Wars show.

“You need to ask Donald. He’s the one that holds all the cards here. But there’s no movement,” said Kathleen Kennedy. “I will say that honestly. But it’s not for lack of trying. It’s just that he’s a very busy guy.”

Kennedy continued, “[Glover’s] got another series, and I think one other thing, and then he’ll come our way. So patiently waiting.” The rapper/actor is the creator of the Atlanta dramedy on FX.

Atlanta went on hiatus for four years mostly due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Season 3 of the Donald Glover-led program premiered on March 24, 2022. The fourth season is expected to begin airing in fall 2022.

Donald Glover also performs as Hip Hop recording artist Childish Gambino. The five-time Grammy winner’s album discography includes 2011’s Camp, 2013’s Because the Internet, 2016’s “Awaken, My Love!”, and 2020’s 3.15.20.

Disney+ is already home to other shows based in the Star Wars universe. The Mandalorian debuted in 2019. The Book of Boba Fett arrived in 2021. Obi-Wan Kenobi just hit the service on May 27 of this year.

“I have a lot of things. I like to blossom and then go away,” stated Donald Glover on Jimmy Kimmel Live in March. “Right now is definitely the start of another one of those. I have like a ton of stuff I’ve been working on, but I just want it all to come out at the same time, so I feel like that’s what’s important.”

Jack Harlow has been in the news a lot over the last few weeks. Harlow dropped Come Home the Kids Miss You earlier this month, and he got into a friendly rivalry with R&B legend Brandy.

In addition, Jack Harlow faced accusations that his commercial success as a rapper is based on him being a white man. TMZ asked fellow Generation Now recording artist Lil Uzi Vert if he feels Harlow benefits from his race.

“He’s really good,” stated Lil Uzi Vert about Jack Harlow. The “XO Tour Llif3” hitmaker also added, “Nah, he doesn’t have white privilege. He’s signed to Black people.”

DJ Drama and Don Cannon founded the Generation Now record label in 2015. Both Jack Harlow and Lil Vert released multiple, respective albums via the Atlantic Records-distributed imprint.

Compton Residents Complain Of Shootings During Illegal Street Takeover

Residents of a Compton neighbourhood hit back after an illegal street takeover in the hours of Monday morning (May 30).

According to a CBS News report, law enforcement responded to calls from the local community. Cops received reports of a crowd of over 200 people taking over the intersection of Wilmington Avenue and Caldwell Street in Compton.

Compton Illegal Street Takeover

Residents reported vehicles tearing up the streets with drivers doing donuts while the crowd let off fireworks and shined lasers into the cars. At least one person was reportedly seen sitting on top of the Caldwell Street sign.

The Compton Sheriff’s Station says no one was injured and they made no arrests. However, a watch commander at the stations noted the difficulties in preventing such illegal street takeover events. As the planning is conducted on social media it’s difficult for cops to stay one step ahead.

Meanwhile residents complained and shared their frustration at the frequency of the street takeovers which they claim is almost constant.

“I do get angry. I do get mad,” said Alex Ramos, a Compton resident told CBS News. Ramos claimed the illegal street takeovers occur multiple times a week at the same location.

One local apparently suffered damage to their home during one such event after a car crashed into the building leaving a gaping hole.

“It could happen today, in the afternoon, late evening, early in the morning. It’s just whenever they choose,” an anonymous resident reported. He also complained of shootings during illegal street takeovers and residents inconvenienced by cars blocking their driveways. “They’re very aggressive and confrontational about it,” he added.

Though cops eventually dispersed the crowd, the local community says not enough is being done.

“When [the police] do arrive, the only thing they do is just scare them off,” said Ramos. “I don’t see no arrests. I don’t see nothing.”

A$AP Rocky Reveals How The Teletubbies Have Impacted His Views On Fatherhood

A$AP Rocky and Rihanna welcomed their baby boy earlier this month after announcing the impending bundle of joy back in January.

A post shared by badgalriri (@badgalriri)

The Harlem native shed light on fatherhood during a new interview and laid out exactly the type of parent he is. Curiously, he lists some surprising influences that shaped his viewpoint.

“I will always remind my children to never lose their imagination,” he told Dazed. “Even as adults, no matter what. I actually love to watch cartoons,” he added. “I’ve watched like, Teletubbies, Blue’s Clues, Yo Gabba Gabba, Peppa Pig and Baby Shark,” he said.

Furthermore, the “Purple Swag” hitmaker isn’t trying to achieve perfection – A$AP Rocky simply wants his family to be “cool.”

“I hope to raise open-minded children,” he added. “Not people who discriminate. And I’m not trying to describe a saint, but realistically, I just want a cool child with cool parents.”

When the interviewer pointed out the famous couple already influenced a generation of creative young people, A$AP agreed. “It’s beautiful that we can even do that. Things like diversity and versatility are important, and they’ll be embedded in the household.”

While A$AP Rocky discussed the values he wants to instill in his family, Rihanna revealed that she is “psycho” about her children. “You talk about my kids, it’s over,” she declared during an interview before the birth of their son.

Anita Baker Thanks Chance The Rapper For Helping Her Acquire Her Masters

Anita Baker owns her masters, and according to the legendary soul singer, it’s all thanks to Chance The Rapper, who helped her acquire them.

Chance The Rapper was in the audience at a recent show when Anita Baker called him up onstage to thank him.

“You should say hello to a friend of mine by way of the music industry and by way of helping me, helping me to get a hold and ownership of my master recordings,” Anita Baker said in footage circulating online. Chance then stood up and thanked the cheering audience for their praise.

He later retweeted the video of Anita Baker thanking him and celebrated the singer and her incredible show.

“I saw one of THE greatest performances of my LIFETIME last night,” Chance wrote. “Thank you so much @IAMANITABAKER for being an inspiration and an icon to so many of US.”

Then, in response, Anita revealed her surprise that Chance was at her show. “Had no idea you would be in our Midst. Such a nice Surprise. Brought Tears, to my eyes,” she admitted. “Hope Ms. Essence enjoyed her Birthday ABXO.”

However, their exchange continued with Chance thanking Anita Baker for her personal touch in remembering his friend. “WOW the fact that you remembered my friends name AND that it was her birthday just echoes what an INCREDIBLE PERSON you are on top of all that you’ve given artistically. Honored and blessed to call you friend miss @IAMANITABAKER.”

Anita Baker Says “Impossible Things Happen”

“All My Children Are Coming Home,” the icon tweeted. “Impossible Things Happen… Every. Single. Day.”

She shared an image of her first five albums, 1983’s The Songstress, 1986’s Rapture, 1988’s Giving You The Best That I Got, 1990’s Compositions, and 1994’s Rhythm of Love.

Alezo Valentino Is Ready To Take On The World

Alezo Valentino released his song last year 2021. The morning after Alezo Valentino released the song he checked the stats and noticed the song had thousands of views on YouTube. He was reeling from the excitement. “There are so many people that drop songs on YouTube every second and for my song to go viral was really big for me, I’ve just been really happy celebrating,” he says, calling from his vacation hotel. “I’m still a little out of it because we went out and celebrated now, I’m back at the hotel.

The whole past year 2021 was somewhat of a whirlwind for Alezo Valentino. He began doing live shows 2020 and when he was starting to get more comfortable on stage his manager booked a bigger venue but it was cancelled because of the pandemic, so he ended up recording the single Cae La Noche instead. The record has no feature on it and has done well on the YouTube charts. It is now at over 106k views on the social media platform.

Now, Alezo Valentino is ready to make more moves. Growing up, he had dreams of being a Hockey or Football player; he even made a bid to play on a college team in the U.S. because he was offered scholarships at several Universities before an injury cut his career short and he pivoted to music. Some of his early work made it seem as though he would be at the forefront of a PoP/R&B wave in Spanish-language music, with lighter, melody-driven songs drawing on his love of performers like Michael Jackson.

But he also played with trap, an early indicator of the eclecticism he wanted to indulge in, and his recent songs have continued to spotlight Pop and reggaeton.“I couldn’t do reggaeton,” he says. “I’ve always been listening to Pop and Reggaeton music, and when I released my latest reggaeton track, people went crazy.”

Alezo Valentino prefers home studios where he can hole up for days and come up with ideas. That’s mostly how he spent the last few months of 2021, apart from hanging out with his friends and occasionally jet-skiing with his friends. The better part of his hours are spent on music, and he already has some track ideas lined up for 2022. “I have Electro mixed with Pop and R&B even music that’s a bit more classic because I’m a huge fan of that kind of music, thanks to my parents,” he says. Both of his parents were really into all kind of music genres, and would always play loud music in their home. Music such as Michael Jackson, Rock music, electro music. Alezo Valentino says he love to explore different genres of music. “Fusing modern styles with past roots is something that to me is really beautiful and innovative,” he adds.

He’d also like to collaborate with other artists, But the most important thing is to keep the momentum he has going. He can feel the gears shifting now: His music is resonating with people and he gets a lot of messages on social media about how much people loves his music. “We’re in a different position, where people know my music more, I have a lot of songs stored on a hard drive on the list that will be released very soon’’ he says.

Mo’Nique & D.L. Hughley Continue Calling Each Other Out Over Headline Dispute

Mo’nique and D.L. Hughley have continued their contract disagreement online after a dispute over who was the headliner for a comedy show the weekend.

AllHipHop reported the initial back and forth after Mo’Nique blasted the comedian onstage at The Comedy Explosion in Detroit, Michigan, on Saturday night (May 28). She claimed she was due to headline the event, although D.L. Hughley said he was always the headliner.

Mo’Nique Says “Show Your Contract Or Be Quiet”

However, Mo’Nique claims he used ticket stubs as evidence he was the headliner because he doesn’t have a contract, “like I do.”

“Either show your contract or be quiet,” she said on Instagram, sharing D.L. Hughley’s post, adding he is “the reason why I fight for my people like I do.” She also claimed him thinking he should close the show over her “is a prime example of the bias that black women have to deal with in this business.”

D.L. Hughley Posts His Deal Memo

In response, D.L. Hughley posted some receipts of his own, declaring, “After this… I don’t want hear no mo’ about this✌🏾here it is in black & white!!” he penned, posting his deal memo.

He called attention to a few details of the agreement which support his claims. According to the comedian, the deal stipulates he is the “headliner,” and the “highest paid artist on show.” Additionally, the document grants him “approval of lineup” and lists him as the closing act.

“Receipts > opinions,” he continued. “I got everything that was stated in my contract… everything. But let’s say I didn’t, my beef wouldn’t be with anyone but the promoter and/or my team and I damn sure wouldn’t make it personal. If you have a problem, take it up with management and by that I mean yours✌🏾”

Mo’Nique Asks Where’s The Signed Agreement?

Nonetheless, Mo’Nique fired back, calling him out for posting his “’Deal Memo,’ versus his ‘Performance Agreement,‘“ before posting her own. She also shared “emails and texts confirming that as per usual I’m going to always keep it real and honest with my people.” Mo’Nique then questioned the absence of signatures on his agreement, saying it is further proof it’s not a genuine agreement.

Furthermore, she said she checked with management as he instructed her, “and this is what I came up with,” before accusing him of “trying to pass a deal memo off as a contract.”

She continued, “the promoter already told my team before the show that you didn’t have a signed agreement.” she also challenged him to post his “signed agreement,” before listing the evidence to support her claims before asking, “Can you say receipts? LOL”

Stop the Cap

Still, D.L. Hughley came back with another response questioning Mo’Nique’s“Hick’s Media Inc” contract. “Hold up!! That’s you!!! You reallly showing everyone a contract you submitted from your own company🤣🤣🤣🤣” he asked. “I smell b####### and I wouldn’t pick it up with the old ass birth certificate paper it was written on!! “

He added, “Stop the 🧢!!” before relisting his own deal stipulations. “Now explain to me how my s### was delivered on and yours wasn’t?? Sounds to me like your problem is with “hicks media inc”. Can we please implement the 3 knockdown rule?? 💥🥊 “ he concluded.

Joe Budden Finds Himself In Another Rap “Beef”

Joe Budden might have more beefs than any other rapper. But, since he no longer raps, we may not want to call this a squabble. But let us rap fans are always tured in when bars are used. And that is exactly what Cy-Hi did! He levied some bars straight to Joe Budden today.

Check this out.

This was not Cy-Hi’s best, but that does not mean he is not a worthy opponent to Joe, if Joe still rapped.

Never too far from social media, Joe decided to tweet a response.

Now, this is the origin of the diss.

So, there is no looming rap battle, but I have to say Joe won this round. He posted the following image of him on vaca.

As you know the internets took the time to find a clip where Joe was willing to come out of retirement for Cy! Lets gooooo! He’s already on break, just keep it going!

Tai Dinero: Announces New EP  “Motion”

Tai Dinero is a 19-year-old hip-hop music artist from Philadelphia, PA whose songs are making an impact in the rap underground. Ever since the age of 8, Tai has aspired to fulfill his musical dreams by following in his older brother’s footsteps and entering the music industry. Since he was young he was taught to write poetry and turn it into song. Watching his brother become a local hip-hop sensation in the Philadelphia area is what made Tai want to pursue the career and take it seriously.

His whole life he faced obstacles in he needed to overcome and music being his passion was his escape from the harsh reality he found himself in. At age 17 after watching many of his friends head off to college, Tai found himself lonely but at the same time more focused than ever. “The moments I’ve been by myself I just continued to be in my bag more than ever and focused on my music,” Tai says when speaking about his writing style.

In 2018 when Tai released his debut single “In my Bag” he was just a young teen, however, he caught the attention of peers around the Philadelphia area. The Kid LAROI Says Scammers Are Targeting His Fortune

The past two years have been groundbreaking for the career of rap star, The Kid LAROI.

The Australian rapper’s release F**k Love hit the top of the charts in August of 2021, while the song “Stay” with Justin Bieber also shot to the top.

The rapper, who recently partnered with McDonald’s, is back In his home country of Australia on his “End Of The World Tour.”

Like many artists, The Kid LAROI is dealing with the fallout of his newfound fame and wealth.

During an interview on “The Fitzy and Wippa Show,” The Kid LAROI revealed being famous has brought all kinds of people out of the woodwork.

“I’ve had all types of f**kers come out the woodwork,l. You don’t speak to these people for years and all of sudden it’s like, “I’ve always believed in you,” and it’s like, “No, you didn’t,”‘ he told local radio Fitzy and Wippa during an interview The Daily Mail reports.

The Kid LAROI, who was mentored by late rapper Juice Wrld, revealed people have also been begging him for money.

Thankfully, the 18-year-old seems to have his head on straight and appears to be handling his money wisely.

“I’ve had people come out who I have known for three weeks [saying], “Bro, you just gonna leave me?” And I’m like, “I don’t have to give you anything. I don’t even know you like that.'”

Last week, the rapper was hit with a multi-million dollar lawsuit by his ex-managers, who claim they were cheated out of their portion of the prophets from The Kid LAROI’s uber-successful career.

The rapper recently struck a deal with power manager Scooter Braun, who has handled the careers of artists like Kanye West, Ariana Grande, Justin Bieber, Demi Lovato, and others.

The Kid LAROI is currently on the Australian leg of his “End Of The World Tour,” which has already sold-out.

Lil Durk’s New Tats Give People The Shivers

Remember that rumor I told you about? That Lil Durk was now Muslim? Yea, click here to read that.

I am going somewhere with this.

Lil Durk recently paid her to his fall and homeboys, King Von and D Thang. It’s very sad to see that these young guys are dying so fast. But Durk spared no expense or paying his respects.

First of all he got his legs tatted up in homage of both of his men. And then on top of that, he put language underneath some of which was in Arabic. Both sang rest in peace to those gentlemen.

And then, on the back he did some thing that looks extremely painful. He tattooed a huge skull on the back of his body. The skull reportedly took a full work day – eight hours!

This is a skull of the heavy-metal variety, not something pretty. It is a tellin condemnation of the music in which makes these guys so rich and famous and yet also result in so much pain and death. Nevertheless it got everybody talking last night in our video didn’t go up until this morning because my Wi-Fi was down. Anyway, check out the link below and tell me what you think of it and is he being contradictory to his Muslim teaching with these images.

Some say he’s still a “k#### (unbeliever)” by Orthodox Muslim standards, because of the life he leads. Any Muslim brothers or sisters out there?
