David Bars: Staying Official In A Fake Time

In an era where viral dances, AI videos, and fake internet beef seem to run Hip-Hop, Bronx spitter David Bars is stubbornly committed to something way less trendy: being real. A certified “MC’s MC” who came up as the young gun around legends like DJ Premier and D.I.T.C., Bars has already lived the kind of stories a lot of rappers pretend to have. He has been in packed studios with giants since his teens, studied the craft from the inside, and now finds himself navigating a landscape where algorithms, content farms and podcasts compete with the music he loves.

In this candid conversation with AllHipHop at WonWorld Studios, David talks about why he is dropping singles instead of albums, how he feels about the Kendrick vs Drake battle, why fake beef is corny, what Cardi B being the “top rapper” really means, and how he is adapting with TikTok tempos while still trying to stay “official in a fake time.”

AllHipHop: You have been dropping a lot of singles lately. Why focus on singles instead of a full album right now?

David Bars: I already did albums before, so it is not like I am scared of an album. I just tried a different formula. Right now it feels like the better route for what I am trying to do. If enough people start asking for an album, I will give them an album. I got enough music in the tuck. It is just a matter of structuring it the right way.

AllHipHop: Do streaming and short attention spans play into that decision?

David Bars: It got a lot to do with everything. The way people listen is different now. One minute songs, two minute songs. If you drop an album and it hits later, people will go back and dig through your whole catalog. But until that moment comes, singles make more sense. If somebody asks you to name five David Bars songs, it is more likely you know them because I drop singles.

AllHipHop: You are known as a lyricist. Do you ever get frustrated that a lot of Hip-Hop today does not seem to care as much about bars?

David Bars: I would not say frustrated. You just got to learn to adapt. I enjoy a lot of new music. I listen to old school too, but I am not sitting around like, “I wish lyrics would come back.” Times change. I can adapt to the times. I just miss how it was. Back then it felt like lyrics were appreciated more. That is why people get excited for a Clipse album or a Mobb Deep type of album. It is a different time.

AllHipHop: Did the Drake vs Kendrick situation make you feel like the culture remembered bars again for a second?

David Bars: It is a sport. Hip-Hop is a competitive sport. That whole situation excited me. I love seeing Kendrick on that type of time. And the crazy part is how fast it was. They were going back and forth in real time. If Nas had taken as long as he did with “Ether” in this era, he would have been cooked. The media part of it would have finished him. Today you have to have your sword ready.

AllHipHop: A lot of so called “beefs” now feel planned for clicks. Where do you stand on that?

David Bars: I am not with the fake beef. Unless somebody comes at me directly, I am not jumping out the window to start something for views. I like walking around and doing what I want. We from the street. I am not doing all that corny [__] for attention. If somebody throws a shot, I am with it, you will see another side of Bars. But I am not staging no fake drama.

AllHipHop: You said something real honest about the game. You are just trying to stay official in a fake time. What did you mean by that?

David Bars: All this [] is corny to me, bro. Me being me is probably my worst curse. I am not that type of dude. Certain [] I am not going to stand for. So it might be an issue in this lane I chose. But I would rather keep it official for myself. When the chips fall, they fall. I am not here to be a character.

AllHipHop: Hip-Hop is so mainstream now that the top charting rapper is Cardi B. How do you feel about that dynamic?

David Bars: She from the Bronx, so shout out to her. But if we talking about rapper vs MC, that is different. If you do not write, you more of an entertainer. And I am not even mad at that. She is honest about it. There is no fake story around it. The issue is how people place it. You cannot call somebody the top lyricist if they are not writing. But being an entertainer is still work. It is just a different category.

AllHipHop: Speaking of the game changing, it feels like every OG has a podcast now. What do you think when you see that wave?

David Bars: Everybody is in podcasting. It is crazy. But that is what is working right now. Time changes. You got to adapt. I cannot knock the hustle. They getting money. For me, I am still too in love with the music to jump there full time. Maybe later. Right now I still want to rap.

AllHipHop: You also talked about AI visuals. A lot of rappers are experimenting. What is your take?

David Bars: I kind of hate AI. It can be cool if you use the right person and go all the way with it, like some Star Wars level crazy. But the way most rappers are using AI right now looks corny. If it is not super authentic or super ill, it just looks cheap.

AllHipHop: What about collaborations. Are there artists you want to work with, or are you focused more on producers?

David Bars: I am more focused on producers right now, but I am down to collab. It just has to make sense. If we got mutual respect and it is organic, cool. I am not paying an artist just to chase a feature. You could have Kendrick on a whole album and that does not guarantee people will listen to you. That said, when you spar with certain people, it is motivating. It is fun competition.

AllHipHop: Part of this era is the machines and algorithms. You talked about “tricking the machine.”

David Bars: That is really what it is. It is not just labels and marketing anymore. It is machines pushing you or burying you. Sometimes collabs help because the algorithm connects similar artists and sends people down that rabbit hole. You got to be strategic and figure out how to use that to your advantage.

AllHipHop: There is a huge overseas market for lyricism. Have you tapped into that yet?

David Bars: Not enough. I need to travel more. But I look at my Spotify numbers and see crazy places – Africa, Japan, Switzerland and all kinds of countries. People overseas love the culture, not just the rap. That is one of the dopest things about these apps. We can actually see where the listeners are.

AllHipHop: You mentioned adapting your sound for TikTok with uptempo records. What does that look like for you?

David Bars: I started doing 110, 120 BPM joints. Tempo music people can dance to. I got mad dance videos on TikTok to my records. I dropped more than ten songs that fit that lane and they were going crazy over there. I am not closed off to everything. I am just trying to adapt without losing myself.

AllHipHop: What is next for David Bars?

David Bars: I got a single called “No Time.” I am going to keep putting out music, keep it official and figure out the code like everybody else. You can find me at @DavidBars_ on Instagram and TikTok. Tap in.

Iggy Azalea Crushed N3on Romance Dreams With Brutal Age Gap Reality Check

Iggy Azalea addressed persistent romance rumors with streamer N3on, firmly stating she maintains zero romantic interest in men significantly younger than herself.

The Australian rapper responded to fan speculation on Instagram, declaring: “We are friends and business partners on an online casino it’s sorta annoying seeing the clickbait everytime I stream with him tbh cause I’m very single (n wouldn’t never take sexual interest in men that are a decade+ younger than me lmfao).”

Azalea’s direct statement comes after months of fan theories about her relationship with the 19-year-old content creator, whose real name is Ragnesh Mutama.

View this post on Instagram

The speculation intensified in October when Azalea posted a cryptic tweet reading “That didn’t last long,” which fans interpreted as a reference to N3on’s bedroom performance.

The “Fancy” hitmaker previously confirmed she friend-zoned N3on during a September livestream, while announcing their multi-million-dollar business partnership.

She signed him as co-owner of her MOTHERLAND digital gaming venture, a $25 million online casino combining cryptocurrency, slots, sports betting and celebrity entertainment.

The MOTHERLAND casino partnership represents Azalea’s latest business expansion beyond music.

The platform launched in September 2025, featuring N3on as a key promotional figure through his streaming content. Industry reports indicate the venture targets the intersection of gaming culture and Hip-Hop entertainment.

N3on previously dated fellow content creator Sam Frank before their August 2025 breakup.

Azalea’s business-focused approach with N3on demonstrates her commitment to expanding her entertainment empire while maintaining clear personal boundaries.

Iggy Azalea’s firm stance against age-gap relationships stands in contrast to other female Hip-Hop personalities like Hazel E and Masika Kalysha, who have faced public criticism for dating Blueface and Hood Trophy Bino, respectively.

Father Watched Son Die, Police Investigate Rap Beef In Birthday Party Massacre In Stockton

Patrick Peterson watched his 14-year-old son, Amari, crawl across the floor, blood streaming from his face, as gunfire erupted at what should have been a joyful birthday celebration in Stockton.

The father desperately attempted CPR on his dying child after multiple gunmen opened fire at Monkey Space banquet hall Saturday evening, targeting local rappers MBNel and FlyBoy Doughy in an attack that killed four people and wounded 11 others.

“All I can see is my son crawling on the ground and me trying to resuscitate him,” Peterson told ABC10. “I just heard gunshots and then the shooter came in. I turned my back, and I looked at him and I just start seeing him shoot, shoot, shoot, shoot.”

Amari Peterson died from a gunshot wound just above his heart during the 6 P.M. assault at the 2-year-old’s birthday party. His sister was grazed by bullets in the chaos that claimed victims ranging from 8 to 30 years old.

“Everybody running off and my son is just sitting there crawling, just trying to get up,” Peterson said. “I’m trying to give him CPR… and he just has blood coming out of his face. It’s just something that a father should never have to go through.”

The grieving father described Amari as a sports-loving teenager with a gentle spirit. “He loved sports, he loved football. He loved basketball,” Peterson said. “He ran a little bit of track but overall, he was a gentle soul.”

Peterson said the traumatic scene replays constantly in his mind. “I’m like laying over my son while he’s sitting there breathing… trying to breathe…” he said. “Every day he would tell me, ‘Dad, I love you. Dad, I appreciate you.’ Every night, every morning that boy would tell me he loved me.”

Law enforcement officials confirmed the shooting was a calculated attack targeting Filipino-American rapper MBNel, who is an admitted member of the Muddy Boy Crips and his associate, FlyBoy Doughy, who is an admitted member of the FlyBoy Crips.

Both rappers were among the 15 people shot during the celebration.

“This was a targeted act,” San Joaquin County Sheriff’s Office spokesperson Heather Brent told reporters during a late-night press conference.

MBNel, known for his 2020 album Born To Win, had revealed his location on social media shortly before the ambush. The 28-year-old rapper previously survived a similar assassination attempt in September 2020 and was later arrested during a gang-related investigation.

MBNel’s father, Junior Dongon, told The New York Post his son is now in hiding and fearing for his life.

“He just came to drop off a present at his friend’s party, whose daughter was the celebrant,” Dongon said. “He was shot, but he is OK. … He called me and said, ‘Don’t say anything to anybody.”

Some are claiming the attack appears connected to an ongoing feud between MBNel’s crew and the EBK gang, whose members include popular rapper EBK Jaaybo.

The Stockton-based EBK Jaaybo, who is allegedly affiliated with the 2100 Nightengale Bloods, was removed from NBA YoungBoy’s “MASA” tour earlier this year after his arrest in Arkansas.

Stockton Mayor Christina Fugazi confirmed the shooting was gang-related violence, calling it “domestic terrorism.” She said President Trump’s advisers contacted her on Sunday, offering federal assistance in the manhunt.

“Let’s call it what it is. This is domestic terrorism. This is gang violence, and it has to stop in our city,” Fugazi told Fox40.

The other victims killed were ages 8, 9 and 21. An 8-year-old victim was identified as Maya Lupian, according to local reports. The wounded included children ages 9, 12 and 15, with injuries ranging from age 22.

Sheriff Patrick Withrow made an emotional plea for public assistance Sunday.

“I am confident in our team and with the work that we have done so far that we will find these animals that did this and bring them justice, but we still need the public’s help,” Withrow said.

Investigators believe multiple gunmen participated in the coordinated assault. Witnesses reported gunfire coming from several locations during the attack.

The FBI has offered a $50,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of those responsible for the case. District Attorney Ron Freitas urged the shooters to “turn yourself in immediately.”

As of Wednesday morning (December 3) no arrests had been made and the gunmen remain at large.

The San Joaquin County Sheriff’s Office continues investigating the massacre as authorities work to prevent further retaliation in the ongoing gang conflict.

Nas Might Be Planning Something Big For 2026 Legends Series

Nas is moving like a man on a mission right now and it’s wild to watch in real time. The evolution over the last year has been something serious. He’s leveling up as a businessman and an artist at the same time, and the non-rap side of his world is starting to look like a whole empire. It’s dope seeing these legends stacking real money while still pushing culture.

And you already know Nas was the unofficial ringleader of this year’s “OG Renaissance” in Rap. Not old. We’re talking elder statesmen who stepped forward culturally and reminded everybody what mastery looks like. I love it. The kids still run the sales charts, but this year the OGs made their presence felt.

READ ALSO: Nas-Backed $7.5B Resorts World NYC Expansion Officially Approved …

Which brings us to this little whisper floating around.

Sources—not the strongest ones, let me stress—say Nas and the crew are quietly scouting who might join the next round of the “Legends” series. A couple names are being thrown around. The only one that feels even halfway solid is Kool G Rap, and honestly, that makes sense. They go way back and G is still sharp as a tack. One source tried to say KRS-One was also in the mix, but everything I’ve heard says that’s not true at all. In fact, I’ve been told “flat out false.” And look, I’m not about to go too deep on KRS-One…because the last time it was a mess.

All I’ll say is this: KRS-One dropping music in 2026 looks possible from what’s circulating online. That doesn’t mean he’s part of this Nas-helmed situation. He’s active though!

Meanwhile, there’s definitely movement behind the scenes for next year’s plans, but the focus right now is Nas’ incoming album this month. That’s the real story. Everybody’s watching to see if he can shake up the end-of-year convo and maybe step into the same ring as Freddie Gibbs, The Clipse, De La Soul, Gunna (yeah, I said it!) and the others who dropped heavy projects.

We’ll see how it plays out soon enough.

Netflix Lashes Out At Diddy, Says No Laws Were Broken To Get Footage For Controversial Documentary

Diddy slammed the Netflix docuseries Sean Combs: The Reckoning as a “shameful hit piece” just days before its release, accusing the platform of using stolen footage and granting influence to longtime rival 50 Cent, while Netflix fired back, denying all claims.

The four-part series, which debuted Tuesday (December 2), dives into the sexual misconduct accusations leveled against Diddy since late 2023 and includes previously unseen footage of the Hip-Hop mogul and his entourage.

Diddy, currently serving a four-year sentence for prostitution-related charges, has not been convicted of sex trafficking or racketeering conspiracy, both of which he was acquitted of.

Diddy’s camp issued a scathing statement ahead of the docuseries’ premiere, alleging that Netflix “relied on stolen footage that was never authorised for release” and that it was “fundamentally unfair, and illegal, for Netflix to misappropriate” video he had collected since age 19.

His team also criticized the involvement of Jackson, calling him “a longtime adversary with a personal vendetta.”

Netflix responded swiftly to the accusations, telling Variety that the allegations were baseless.

“The project has no ties to any past conversations between Sean Combs and Netflix,” the spokesperson said. “The footage of Combs leading up to his indictment and arrest were legally obtained. This is not a hit piece or an act of retribution. Curtis Jackson is an executive producer but does not have creative control. No one was paid to participate.”

Director Alexandria Stapleton, who helmed the project, also defended the production’s integrity.

“We moved heaven and earth to keep the filmmaker’s identity confidential,” she told Netflix’s Tudum. “One thing about Sean Combs is that he’s always filming himself and it’s been an obsession throughout the decades.”

Kanye West’s Gutted Malibu Mansion Becomes Exclusive Timeshare

Kanye West just can’t catch a break when it comes to that infamous Malibu beach house he completely destroyed.

The concrete shell that used to be a $57 million architectural masterpiece is now being pitched as a members-only timeshare – if the guy who bought it from Ye might lose it to foreclosure. Steven “Bo” Belmont, the developer who scooped up West’s gutted disaster for $21 million back in September 2024, has been scrambling to make something work with this property ever since.

First, he tried flipping it for $39 million, then dropped it to $34.9 million when nobody bit.

According to Realtor.com, Belmont is going full Silicon Valley startup mode with something called “Populis” – basically turning the place into a luxury real estate timeshare where rich folks can buy “memberships” to get a piece of the action.

You can drop anywhere from $1,000 for a basic “gold” membership to $300,000 for the “Founders Circle” package. That top-tier membership gets you chef dinners, concierge service, and four private estate sessions a year where you can bring up to 12 guests.

But Belmont’s got bigger problems than figuring out his membership tiers.

Quality Loan Service Corp just hit him with a notice of default, claiming he owes $814,623.54 on his $18.5 million mortgage as of November 4. He’s got 90 days to catch up or risk losing the whole thing to foreclosure.

Kanye West originally bought this place in 2021 for $57.3 million, right after his split from Kim Kardashian. The Tadao Ando-designed masterpiece was supposed to be his creative sanctuary, but Ye turned it into his personal demolition project.

The rap star ripped out everything – plumbing, electrical, windows, interior finishes – basically turning a work of art into a concrete bunker. When West finally gave up on his apocalypse-shelter dreams and listed it in January 2024, he had to settle for the $21 million from Belmont. That’s a $36 million loss.

In 2025, West started liquidating properties left. He sold his Wyoming ranch back to the original owners for $14 million after letting it fall apart, and he’s behind on property taxes for his childhood home in Chicago.

Reports say he’s “desperate for money” and others claim he will be bankrupt by the end of 2026.

Rapper 23 Brazy Heading To Prison For 58 Over Shooting Of 10-Year-Old

Rapper 23 Brazy was sentenced to 58 years in prison on Tuesday after pleading guilty to second-degree murder in the 2023 shooting that killed 10-year-old La’Marj Holden during a violent dispute in Franklin, Virginia.

The 24-year-old rapper avoided a potential 93-year sentence through a plea deal that included suspended time on several charges.

According to court documents, 23 Brazy received 40 years for second-degree murder, 20 years for aggravated malicious wounding with 15 suspended, and two 10-year terms for attempted first-degree murder and firing into an occupied building, both of which were fully suspended.

The shooting unfolded on August 9, 2023, when 23 Brazy and three others showed up at a home on Artis Street. Franklin police said an argument broke out between the rapper and a man at the residence. Gunfire erupted. Both the man and La’Marj were hit. The man survived. La’Marj did not.

The case triggered a nationwide manhunt that stretched more than 10 months.

The U.S. Marshals Service took over the search at the request of Franklin police. Investigators tracked leads across multiple states before locating 23 Brazy on June 18 at the Brookside Square Apartments in Boykins, Virginia, just 20 miles from the shooting scene.

She was found living with a relative who, according to federal authorities, was knowingly harboring her. When agents arrived, the relative opened the door and exited. She surrendered without resistance.

“This complex investigation is another example of the tenacity and never-give-up attitude of Deputy U.S. Marshals and our state and local law enforcement partners,” said U.S. Marshals Senior Inspector Robert Bowers. “It is my hope the efforts of the investigators in this case will provide a small amount of comfort to the family of the victim in this case.”

Franklin Police Chief Steve Patterson also acknowledged the federal team’s role in closing the case.

A$AP Rocky Calls Rihanna His “Spouse” At Gotham Awards

A$AP Rocky credited Rihanna’s unwavering encouragement and presence during his Gotham Awards nomination, calling her his “spouse” while labeling her support a driving force behind his latest career leap from Hip-Hop to Hollywood.

The Harlem-born rapper was nominated for Breakthrough Performer at the 2025 Gotham Awards for his role in Spike Lee’s film Highest 2 Lowest. Speaking to People at Cipriani Wall Street on December 1, Rocky didn’t hold back when asked about the importance of Rihanna’s backing.

“Family support is just… spousal support, everything,” he said. “It just means a lot. It goes a long way.”

The 37-year-old artist’s recognition marks a pivotal shift in his career, signaling his emergence as a serious actor.

His collaboration with Spike Lee has earned praise from industry insiders, many of whom have pointed to Rocky’s natural charisma and dedication on set.

The couple, who have three children, RZA Athelston, Riot Rose and infant daughter Rocki Irish, have remained relatively quiet about the specifics of their relationship.

However, Rocky recently referred to himself as a “loving husband” in an interview with The Perfect Magazine. While the public continues to speculate about their marital status, the couple’s united front at major events like the Gotham Awards speaks volumes.

Iggy Azalea Burns Up Instagram In Gray Bodysuit & Causes 100K People To React

Iggy Azalea returned to Instagram Monday with a head-turning photo series that has her followers begging for mercy – and more.

The 35-year-old rapper and businesswoman posted a carousel of polished images wearing a slate-gray bodycon dress that clung to her toned, curvy frame.

The long-sleeved, high-neck outfit featured structured diagonal seams and was paired with a brown saddle bag and gold hoops. Her straight, honey-blonde hair was parted down the middle. The post marked a rare appearance for the Australian-born Hip-Hop artist, who has kept a low profile on social media this year.

But the glam wasn’t the only thing that caught attention; Iggy Azalea used the comment section to set the record straight about her future in music.

When asked by a user if she had anything dropping in 2026, she replied plainly: “No I’m retired.” Another comment prompted her to explain her absence from the platform, to which she responded, “I don’t dress up much these days so I don’t post. I’ll be ghost again after this till Christmas.”

The post quickly gained traction, racking up over 100,000 likes and thousands of comments from followers who welcomed her brief return.

Kim Kardashian Loves Salmon Sperm Facials

Kim Kardashian revealed she underwent salmon sperm injections following the birth of her youngest child, adding her name to a growing list of celebrities experimenting with the eyebrow-raising skincare trend rooted in South Korean beauty science.

The reality mogul shared that she opted for the marine-based treatment as part of her post-pregnancy recovery routine. The procedure, known as polynucleotide therapy, involves injecting DNA fragments extracted from salmon t##### into the skin to encourage regeneration and improve texture.

Kim Kardashian isn’t alone in embracing the sea-sourced solution. Miley Cyrus confirmed she’s tried it too, mentioning it during a June concert.

Jennifer Aniston reportedly incorporates salmon-based serums into her daily skincare lineup and Denise Richards has also credited the fishy formula as part of her beauty upkeep.

The procedure uses a technique called micro-papules, which involves shallow injections of purified salmon DNA into facial tissue.

Each treatment consists of three sessions spaced one month apart. After each round, patients leave with a temporary bumpy texture that fades within 48 hours.

The treatment isn’t for everyone. People with seafood allergies, active acne, or autoimmune disorders are advised to skip it.

Kardashian’s latest endorsement follows her history of diving into unconventional beauty treatments, from vampire facials to cryotherapy and her influence has often helped push niche procedures into the mainstream.

Nick Cannon Takes Christmas Photos With Massive Family After Sibling Controversy

Nick Cannon brought together several of his children for a cheerful Christmas photo shoot this week, just weeks after his daughter, Monroe, made headlines for comments about her siblings.

The TV host and father of 12 shared a carousel of holiday snaps on Monday on Instagram, posing with 14-year-old twins Monroe and Moroccan, his children with Mariah Carey, alongside some of his younger kids.

The group stood in front of large, decorated Christmas trees, flashing smiles and silly faces in a series of lighthearted images.

“Cannon Family Vibes,” he captioned the post.

The twins chimed in with playful remarks in the comments. Moroccan wrote, “Finna be white this winter man,” while Monroe dropped a gif from Elf showing Will Ferrell’s character shouting, “Santa’s Coming!”

The post comes on the heels of Monroe’s November statement about her family dynamic.

In a social media post, she clarified her relationship with her father’s other children, saying, “I only have ONE brother who is \@moroccan.cannon. i do have other half siblings from my dad but they are all many many years younger than me!”

Nick Cannon’s sprawling family includes children with multiple women.

In addition to Monroe and Moroccan, he shares Golden Sagon, Powerful Queen and Rise Messiah with Brittany Bell; twins Zion Mixolydian and Zillion Heir and daughter Beautiful Zeppelin with Abby De La Rosa; son Legendary Love with Bre Tiesi; daughter Onyx Ice Cole with LaNisha Cole; and two children with Alyssa Scott—Zen, who passed away from brain cancer in December 2021 at five months old, and daughter Halo Marie.

The Christmas photos mark another public moment of togetherness for Cannon, who frequently shares snapshots of his family life on social media.

YSL Woody Breaks Silence On Death of Newborn: “Feeling Empty Now”

YSL Woody shared devastating news: he revealed his newborn son died just weeks after birth, prompting an outpouring of sympathy from across the Hip-Hop world.

The Atlanta rapper held a funeral for the newborn, and he has not publicly disclosed the cause of death or the exact date his son passed. However, his posts suggest the baby was just over one month old.

He continues to share photos and videos of his son, capturing moments with his son and his son’s mother. Woody reflected on how the child’s brief life changed him, saying that the moment the child was born gave him a new sense of purpose and strength.

He described feeling transformed, overwhelmed by how lucky he felt to become a father, even as the loss left a wound he said would never fully close.

“You came into this world with your hands balled into a fist, which symbolize strength,” Lil Woody wrote, saying that moment made him feel “as I was the luckiest person alive.”

View this post on Instagram

He admitted that his “heart will never heal from this” but promised, “I won’t be weak bc of you.” Woody said the child touched far more people than anyone could have imagined.

“You will never be forgotten,” he wrote, noting how “in 2months your presence touched the world. Millions of ppl watched you.” He described the love surrounding the child’s life as a spiritual gift, adding, “God is a God of love he sent you with so much of it!!!”

His final words carried the weight of a father grieving in real time: “I love you and imma miss you!! I’m feeling empty now.”

The loss comes shortly after Woody had publicly celebrated the upcoming arrival of his son. During a recent livestream with his longtime girlfriend, he beamed with pride as he announced, “It’s a boy!” while she showed off her baby bump.

Though YSL Woody has mentioned having daughters from previous relationships, this appeared to be his first son.

YSL Woody gained national attention for his involvement in the high-profile YSL RICO case, where he served as a key witness in the prosecution of Young Thug and others.

Drake Dominates Apple Music 2025, Kendrick Lamar’s ‘Not Like Us’ Rules Rap

Drake secured Apple Music’s most-streamed artist position for 2025, while Kendrick Lamar‘s Grammy-winning diss track “Not Like Us” claimed the platform’s top rap song for the second consecutive year.

Apple Music announced Tuesday that the Toronto rapper earned the streaming service’s highest artist ranking, driven by momentum from his February collaboration Some Sexy Songs 4 U with PartyNextDoor and tracks from his upcoming “Iceman” album rollout.

The platform’s “’25 Replay” data revealed Lamar’s Drake-targeted track maintained its dominance in Hip-Hop categories, marking the first time any rap song held the genre’s top position across back-to-back years on Apple Music.

“Not Like Us” finished as 2025’s most-streamed rap song worldwide despite Rosé and Bruno Mars‘ “APT.” claiming the overall number one position across all genres.

The competing chart positions highlight the complex aftermath of Hip-Hop’s most publicized feud in recent memory.

The conflict erupted in 2024 with multiple diss tracks exchanged between the artists, culminating in “Not Like Us” becoming a cultural phenomenon that extended beyond music. Kendrick Lamar’s track earned five Grammy Awards in February 2025, including Record of the Year and Song of the Year, the ceremony’s most prestigious honors.

The Compton rapper dedicated his Record of the Year victory to “the culture” during his acceptance speech. Drake ultimately filed a legal response to the track over claims he was unfairly labeled a pedophile, which ruined his reputation and put his life in danger.

A federal judge dismissed his defamation lawsuit against Universal Music Group in October 2025, rejecting claims that the label intentionally promoted false statements about him in “Not Like Us.”

The Apple Music nod caps off a banner year in which both artists achieved significant milestones. Drake reached RIAA Diamond certification status for multiple tracks, while Kendrick Lamar’s surprise album GNX generated over 2 million sales within weeks of its November release.

Drake’s streaming dominance comes as he prepares to release Iceman, his first full-length studio album since the feud’s peak.

Megan Thee Stallion, Milagro Gramz Trade Shots Through Statements After Verdict

Megan Thee Stallion fired back at critics questioning her defamation victory against blogger Milagro Gramz after a Miami jury awarded the Houston rapper $75,000 in damages on December 1.

The legal dispute reached its conclusion when nine jurors found Milagro Cooper, known professionally as Milagro Gramz, liable for defamation and intentional infliction of emotional distress.

The verdict included $15,000 in compensatory damages for defamation, $8,000 for emotional distress and $50,000 for promotion of deepfake pornography featuring the rapper.

Hours after the ruling, tensions escalated when both women issued competing statements about the case’s outcome and its implications.

Milagro Gramz went live on Instagram within hours of the verdict to address supporters and frame the ruling as motivation for future projects. The blogger, whose real name is Milagro Cooper, appeared defiant during the livestream.

“I’m start working on my mixtape because apparently the only place where you can bully people and talk crazy and pop s### is in the studio,” Milagro Gramz told viewers during the broadcast. “So I’m gonna go get on my mixtape s###, and make sure I channel all my energy into my raps and put that out. Let that be artistic expression.”

Gramz also released an official statement through Asilia Law Firm, P.A., while her Instagram Live featured more personal commentary on the case’s impact.

During the livestream, Gramz thanked her audience for their support throughout the legal proceedings.

“I love you guys so much. Hope that y’all can see the bigger picture and that you understand what new media is,” she said. “I hope that you understand that the things that we do, in the work that we put in, is valuable.”

The blogger maintained her stance despite the jury’s decision.

“Solid b######, they ain’t built, they born,” she continued. “I’m happy that I stood up for something that I believed in, followed it all the way through, and I don’t need validation from anybody else about those things.”

Megan Thee Stallion responded directly to media coverage on X, writing: “Here they go lying again AS USUAL If you want REAL MEDIA/NEWS know how to be Patient and know how to read.”

The rapper’s legal team disputed claims from Gramz’s attorneys about the verdict’s scope, stating: “Contrary to public statements issued by Milagro’s attorneys, the court has not issued a final judgment regarding the defamation count. The judge will make a final ruling and determine the entire financial amount that Milagro will be required to pay Megan, inclusive of legal bills and the defamation count, at a later date.”

The case centered on allegations that Milagro Gramz spread false information about Megan Thee Stallion and promoted deepfake pornographic content featuring the rapper.

Megan’s legal team argued during trial that Gramz served as a “mouthpiece” and “puppet” for coordinated harassment campaigns.

The final judgment amount remains pending, as the judge will determine additional costs, including legal fees, at a later hearing.

50 Cent Takes Aim At Jane Doe & Her Morals: “Hoes Are Different”

50 Cent didn’t hold back when asked about his new docuseries Sean Combs: The Reckoning on Diddy, revealing he regrets not including one person in particular: “Jane Doe,” a woman many believe is his ex and the mother of his son, Daphne Joy.

In a wide-ranging interview with GQ, 50 Cent said her presence would’ve added a different kind of clarity to the series.

“The one person that I wish was in the doc that would create clarity for people in a different way is Jane Doe. So you could see someone who was willing to do it for money. Do you understand?” 50 Cent said.

The rapper and television executive contrasted Jane Doe’s alleged motivations with those of Cassie Ventura, who filed a lawsuit against Diddy that is now settled.

“Cassie came in so early, she’s a baby at 19. Look, the innocent energy that you feel when his kids are walking into the courtroom and you’re sympathetic to them, that’s who Cassie was when she met him,” Fif said.

He continued, “It is a really interesting balance of things because people think of how a woman who has a moral compass, a traditional woman would feel under those circumstances. They don’t think about hoes. Now, hoes are a bit different. They’re not so emotionally connected to the sexual experience. So they can have that sexual experience with those other people as long as you’re going to pay.”

The woman referred to as Jane Doe delivered harrowing testimony in the federal sex trafficking case against Diddy. She described being coerced into group sex acts, referred to as “freak-offs,” at luxury hotels in cities like Los Angeles, Miami and New York.

Jane said Diddy insisted no condoms be used, claiming he didn’t want to “see a rubber” and liked to “play around with it.”

She also said the men would “finish on me,” after which Diddy would have sex with her. She added she was told not to clean up because Diddy “liked to play with it.”

She testified that she was often high during these encounters and feared Diddy’s reaction if she refused.

Jane said she once tried to negotiate condom use, even recording it, but Diddy guilt-tripped her. “It was not something he wanted to see,” she said.

50 Cent made it clear he sees a distinction between women like Cassie and Jane Doe.

“If the person’s a frequent OnlyFans person and already solicited and looking for somebody to pay and you meet them and you tell them, ‘Just be who you are and meet other people and do it in front of me,’ you don’t think they’ll do it?” 50 Cent said.

Sean Combs: The Reckoning, which dives into years of allegations against Diddy, does not include Jane Doe’s testimony.

EXCLUSIVE: Milagro Gramz Gets Big Win Over Megan Thee Stallion As Judge Slashes Damages

Milagro Gramz scored a pivotal courtroom win in Florida when a federal judge tossed the defamation payout awarded to Megan Thee Stallion.

The judge slashed the total damages to $59,000 and shifted the outcome of a lawsuit that had gripped the Hip-Hop world for weeks. The decision, issued on Tuesday (December 2), wiped out all damages tied to defamation per se after the court found Megan failed to meet a crucial legal requirement under Florida law.

The judge ruled that Megan Thee Stallion didn’t comply with Florida Statute 770.01, which requires plaintiffs to give media defendants written notice at least 5 days before filing a defamation suit. The court noted it was “uncontested” that Megan never sent such notice.

Since the jury had already determined that Gramz operated as a media figure due to her consistent commentary and reporting on public legal matters, the defamation award was legally unenforceable.

That ruling eliminated a $15,000 compensatory award and a $1,000 punitive award tied to the defamation claim. What remains is $59,000 in damages linked to two other claims the jury upheld: intentional infliction of emotional distress and the promotion of an altered sexual depiction.

The trial, which ran from November 17 through December 1, pulled back the curtain on the digital fallout Megan endured after the Tory Lanez shooting case.

Jurors heard about Milagro Gramz’s repeated online accusations that Megan lied under oath, calling her a “non-credible witness” and suggesting she misled the court. These statements were at the heart of the now-vacated defamation claim.

Megan’s legal team also introduced evidence that Gramz promoted a manipulated, explicit video of the rapper without her consent. The jury found that Gramz acted “willfully and maliciously” in sharing the altered content, awarding $50,000 in damages for that claim alone.

Another $9,000 was awarded for emotional distress, stemming from Megan’s testimony about the emotional toll of relentless online harassment, misinformation and public ridicule.

Megan Thee Stallion described the financial and psychological cost of therapy and recovery in the wake of the viral attacks. While the judge closed the case, the court retains jurisdiction over Megan’s request for injunctive relief, which could lead to future restrictions on Milagro Gramz’s conduct.

For now, both sides are barred from seeking legal costs or attorney fees until any post-trial motions or appeals are resolved.

El Chapo’s Son Pleads Guilty & Admits To Kidnapping Plot

Joaquin Guzman Lopez just dropped the biggest bombshell in cartel history, admitting in a Chicago courtroom that he kidnapped one of Mexico’s most legendary drug lords to save his own skin.

The 38-year-old son of notorious kingpin Joaquin “El Chapo” Guzman pleaded guilty Monday to drug trafficking and continuing criminal enterprise charges, but the real shocker came when he confessed to orchestrating the kidnapping of Ismael “El Mayo” Zambada.

This wasn’t just any snatch-and-grab – this was the move that brought down the 76-year-old co-founder of the Sinaloa cartel.

Prosecutor Lynn Erskine laid out the details in court, explaining how Guzman Lopez lured Zambada onto a plane in July under false pretenses, then flew straight to Texas, where federal agents were waiting.

The operation was designed to show cooperation with U.S. authorities – basically trading the biggest fish in the ocean for a lighter sentence.

“The defendant admitted to kidnapping an unnamed individual purported to be Zambada,” Erskine told the packed courtroom, according to Reuters. The prosecutor made it clear this wasn’t some rogue operation – it was a calculated move by someone desperate to cut a deal.

The plea agreement could slash Guzman Lopez’s potential life sentence down to something much more manageable.

He’s looking at a minimum of 10 years, but with cooperation credit, he might walk out way even earlier. That’s a hell of a trade-off for someone who admitted to moving tens of thousands of kilograms of cocaine, heroin and fentanyl into the United States.

This whole saga reads like a movie, which is probably why Hip-Hop has been obsessed with El Chapo’s story for years.

50 Cent turned the cartel world into must-listen content with his “Surviving El Chapo” podcast, diving deep into the story of the Flores twins – Pedro and Margarito – who helped bring down the original El Chapo.

His podcast explored how the Chicago-born twins went from dealing $2 billion worth of drugs to becoming government informants who secretly recorded conversations with El Chapo himself.

50 Cent even revealed he once met the Flores twins at Chicago’s Cabrini-Green housing project when he was an up-and-coming star, long before they got involved with international drug trafficking.

But Guzman Lopez’s story is different. While the Flores twins flipped to avoid massive sentences, this kidnapping plot represents something unprecedented – a cartel heir literally delivering his father’s former partner to federal authorities.

Zambada had been a fugitive for decades, co-founding the Sinaloa cartel alongside El Chapo and building one of the most powerful drug empires in history.

Guzman Lopez has been in custody since that dramatic July arrest in Texas and his cooperation could provide federal authorities with inside information about current cartel operations.

His brother Ovidio was also arrested and extradited to the U.S., meaning the new generation of “Chapitos” is either behind bars or cutting deals.

Diddy Stared Him Down & Sharay “Punisher” Hayes Fearfully Told His Truth

Sharay “Punisher” Hayes is not a celebrity, a politician, or a power broker. He was, however, a sex worker who had lived in the margins of Sean “Diddy” Combs’ private world.

This existence was a world most people only speculated about. A light exposed – in court – what was once in the dark. The United States vs. Sean Combs was one of the biggest courtroom dramas the music industry has ever seen. Hayes stepped into the spotlight largely unexpectedly and unwillingly. As one of the figures who spent intimate time with Diddy’s ex-girlfriend Cassie, he was a cornerstone in the case against the mogul. But what he revealed was not what the prosecution expected.

In one of the most candid and emotionally charged conversations to emerge from the Sean “Diddy” Combs saga, Chuck Jigsaw Creekmur and DJ Thoro sit down with  “The Punisher,” who reshaped public perception of the case. Known publicly as an escort, Hayes opens up about the scrutiny he faced, the mental toll of testifying before Diddy, and the complicated reality he found himself in. What follows is an unfiltered conversation about fear, survival, pressure, and the justice system. Moreover, how Hayes turned his unexpected lemons into lemonade is almost a miracle.

Chuck Jigsaw Creekmur: Your new book, In Search of Freezer Meat, is out now. What’s the website?

Sharay “Punisher” Hayes: FreezerMeatEd.com.

THE EXPERIENCE OF BEING EXPOSED

Chuck Jigsaw Creekmur: People know you as one of the prosecution’s witnesses in the Sean “Diddy” Combs case in New York. We first met outside the courthouse, where you were being interviewed by everyone. Now that the dust has settled a bit — how are you feeling?

Sharay “Punisher” Hayes: I’m good, man. Everything was a whirlwind. It put me in a depression I didn’t even realize at first. It’s heavy being introduced to the world as a male prostitute. Even if things went on behind closed doors, that’s private.

When it becomes public, your mind goes straight to damage control. Now I’m just trying to figure out: if you Google my name and that’s what comes up, how do you salvage that? How do people see you now? What limits does it put on your life? What benefits? I’m still figuring it out.

Chuck Jigsaw Creekmur: I saw people advocating for you…advocating for sex workers. And trying to de-stigmatize it. Did that feel real?

Sharay “Punisher” Hayes: Some of it. There’s always going to be advocates, but we live in a negative world. Negative voices are louder.

This is uncharted territory for me. Even before the trial, I was trying to pivot into men’s health and positive content. I’m still kicking the tires on that.

WHY HE TESTIFIED

DJ Thoro:

For people who might be naive to the situation, why did you take the stand? Were you subpoenaed? Forced? Was it voluntary?

Sharay “Punisher” Hayes:

I didn’t let it get to the subpoena point. They kept it quiet that they were going to use me.
People talk tough like the mob movies — “If the Feds call, I’m not saying anything.”
My man… when they knock? It’s different.

They told me, “Don’t give us a hard time. You didn’t do anything wrong. You’re not at risk of jail. Just be honest.” So I cooperated. I didn’t want to p### them off.

FACING DIDDY IN COURT

Chuck Jigsaw Creekmur: How did it feel being in front of Diddy in that courtroom? Being looked at by him and everyone else?

Sharay “Punisher” Hayes: Terrifying. I didn’t expect that at all. When I walked in, I was shook — trembling.

Courtrooms are built to intimidate on purpose. This ain’t Judge Judy. It’s big, overbearing, full of tension.
And walking in past his family… You feel those eyeballs. It was intimidating.

DJ Thoro: Did you feel like your life was at risk for cooperating?

Sharay “Punisher” Hayes: That’s why I wanted to testify — to get it over with.
What I had to say might’ve been embarrassing, but it wasn’t throwing him under the bus because I didn’t see what they were alleging.

I asked a retired FBI agent friend, “Could testifying put me in danger?” He said, “Absolutely.” I felt safer after testifying. But leading up to it? I was shook. The way the Feds picked me up…two agents in a car… felt like a sniper could take me out.

HOW WITNESSES ARE TREATED

Chuck Jigsaw Creekmur: Did they give you any amenities? Hotel, car, anything?

Sharay “Punisher” Hayes: No. They treat you like trash. Everything’s on their time. They take your phone, put you in a room with no TV, no nothing. You sit for hours with an agent at the door.

It felt like testifying against a mafia boss. I thought I was going into witness protection.

DJ Thoro: Were they disappointed with the result?

Sharay “Punisher” Hayes: I assume so. They didn’t say a single word to me afterward. It was like I was never involved.

LEANING TOWARD DIDDY OR CASSIE?

Chuck Jigsaw Creekmur: Did you feel compelled to lean toward Diddy? Toward Cassie? Did anything you learned influence you?

Sharay “Punisher” Hayes: Not really. I’ve been telling these details for a decade. Facts are facts. I wasn’t going to change what I saw. The only thing that threw me off was the first guy who testified. I knew of him. His story changed based on emotion and outside stuff. People who knew him said his private stories didn’t match what he said on the stand. That felt off.

THE BOOK + SUBPOENA

Chuck Jigsaw Creekmur: Your book chronicles some of your experiences. Did they read it?

Sharay “Punisher” Hayes: It came out days before I testified.

Prosecutors kept telling me not to publish it because 200 pages gives the defense 200 pages to dissect.
But once the defense subpoenaed it, I rushed to publish so it had copyright protection. Otherwise it would be public record.

CASSIE, COERCION, AND SENTENCING

Chuck Jigsaw Creekmur: You seemed to feel Cassie might’ve been more involved than testified. True?

Sharay “Punisher” Hayes: I look at everything intellectually. At sentencing, the judge gave [Diddy] time based on coercion, but he was acquitted of anything involving force, fraud, or coercion. So how do you beat the charge but get sentenced for it? That’s not about Diddy. That’s a system issue. What’s the point of a jury if the judge can override them?

DJ Thoro: Is that what the appeal is based on?

Sharay “Punisher” Hayes: Yes. Exactly. The judge gave a sentence that wasn’t too high or low so the appeals court might let it stand.

WHAT IF HE SAW DIDDY TODAY?

Chuck Jigsaw Creekmur: If you ran into Diddy five years from now, how would that go?

Sharay “Punisher” Hayes: Honestly, I’d say, “My bad for the embarrassment — some of it was out of my control.” I repeated the story on talk shows, so I feel some guilt. But I’d expect a handshake and a hug.

My testimony is said to be the reason he was acquitted of the sex trafficking and RICO charges, charges with a minimum 15 years and asset forfeiture. If my testimony made the difference? I’d expect a pound.

DJ Thoro: So basically he owes you a check?

Sharay “Punisher” Hayes: I didn’t say that. But his own attorney said on Piers Morgan that my testimony helped him. All I did was tell the truth.

WHAT ABOUT CASSIE?

DJ Thoro: If you saw Cassie right now, what would you say?

Sharay “Punisher” Hayes: Everything I said was the truth. I would never say what she claims she experienced wasn’t real. But she hid it extremely well. No signs. After I testified, almost all the other sex workers hit me up — like forming some “escort Avengers.”

None of them saw anything that suggested she was forced. If she was going through something, she had a poker face.

DISCOVERING DIDDY IN THE ROOM

Chuck Jigsaw Creekmur: You didn’t even know for a long time that it was Diddy in the corner naked with a burka on.

Sharay “Punisher” Hayes: For half the time…yeah. This went on two and a half years, and I didn’t realize it was him until 15 months in.

THE PRESSURE OF SEX WORK IN THAT SITUATION

Chuck Jigsaw Creekmur: Just having someone else in the room – and then discovering it was Diddy – must’ve been daunting.

Sharay “Punisher” Hayes: Yeah. Sex is supposed to be enjoyable, your vibe. Doing it under pressure is different.

It’s like a buzzer-beater free throw.

But the money was good.

Three days in a row, $2,000 a pop — $5,000 to $6,000 a weekend for three hours total.

I wanted to keep the gig.
