Method Man Raps Verse In ‘SNL’ Musical Sketch “Walking In Staten”

When a lot of Hip Hop fans think of Staten Island, the iconic Wu-Tang Clan comes to mind. One of the Wu members made an appearance on the latest episode of Saturday Night Live for the late-night show’s “Walking in Staten” skit.

SNL cast member and Staten Island native Pete Davidson recruited Marc Cohn and Big Wet for the song about taking a stroll through the New York City borough. Method Man later shows up to spit a verse in the sketch.

“Walking in Staten” is a spoof of Marc Cohn’s 1991 single “Walking in Memphis.” At one point in the SNL video, Cohn said, “No, I don’t want to be in a parody of my own song. What do you mean I’m already in it?”

For his part, Method Man shows up to praise his hometown and take a shot at NYC’s main city rival. The 50-year-old rapper/actor raps, “My Yankee hat’s a statement and middle finger to Boston.”

Method Man can also be seen on television as part of the Power Book II: Ghost cast. Season two of the Starz crime drama premiered on November 21.

In addition, Method Man serves as an executive producer for Wu-Tang: An American Saga on Hulu. The biographical series about the rise of the Wu-Tang Clan closed out its second season on October 27.

Bruno Mars & Anderson .Paak’s ‘An Evening With Silk Sonic’ Album Debuts In The Top 5

An Evening With Silk Sonic, the collaborative effort by Bruno Mars and Anderson .Paak, came out on November 12. Both artists now have another Top 5 project.

Silk Sonic’s debut studio LP opened at #2 on the latest Billboard 200 chart. An Evening With Silk Sonic collected 104,000 first-week units.

Bruno Mars now has four Top 10 albums in his catalog. Previously, the Grammy winner reached that region with 2010’s Doo-Wops & Hooligans, 2012’s Unorthodox Jukebox, and 2016’s 24K Magic.

Anderson .Paak scored his second Top Tenner with An Evening With Silk Sonic. The California native also made it onto the Billboard 200 with 2019’s Ventura which peaked at #4.

Taylor Swift’s Red (Taylor’s Version) blocked Bruno Mars and Anderson .Paak from debuting at #1 on this week’s Billboard 200 rankings. The re-recorded 2012 album earned 605,000 equivalent album units, the second-highest opening of 2021.

Drake’s Certified Lover Boy collected 613,000 units in September. Red (Taylor’s Version) currently holds the 2021 record for the most traditional album sales with 369,000 units.

An Evening with Silk Sonic hosts the Hot 100 chart #1 single “Leave the Door Open.” Additional singles “Skate” and “Smokin Out the Window” live on the 9-track project as well.

Key Glock Issues Statement Following The Death Of Young Dolph

Adolph “Young Dolph” Thornton Jr. was fatally shot on November 17. Many fans and fellow rappers offered condolences over the last five days.

Young Dolph’s most-prominent protégé, Key Glock, issued his first statement about his mentor’s death. On Sunday, Yellow Tape 2 album creator posted a message on social media.

“STOP asking me if I’m ok. Knowing damn well I ain’t… 💔,” wrote 24-year-old Key Glock on his Instagram Story.

Young Dolph and Key Glock released two joint projects – 2019’s Dum and Dummer and 2021’s Dum and Dummer 2. Glock (born Markeyvius Cathey) is signed to Dolph’s Paper Route label.

Prior to his passing, Young Dolph dropped projects such as 2016’s King of Memphis, 2017’s Bulletproof, 2017’s Thinking Out Loud, and 2020’s Rich Slave. The latter effort became Dolph’s highest-charting album when it peaked at #4 on the Billboard 200 chart.

Earlier this year, Young Dolph presented Paper Route Illuminati. The 23-track compilation includes songs with Dolph, Key Glock, other Paper Route associates, and Gucci Mane.

Future Celebrates “Life Is Good” Earning Diamond Certification

Future spent the weekend celebrating. Not only was it his 38th birthday, but his hit with Drake, “Life Is Good,” has officially been certified diamond by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA).

The “Mask Off” rapper commemorated another year around the sun with a private party at Dave & Busters with Drake.

The celebrations didn’t end there as Future celebrated the success of “Life Is Good.” The single taken from his “High Off Life” album has sold 10,000,000 units since its release in January 2020.

The Atlanta rapper’s manager, Dwight Elder took to Instagram to share a video of Future marking the special achievement.

Although the pair have collaborated many times in the past, this is their first offering to go Diamond. Most recently, the Atlanta native made an appearance on “Way 2 Sexy” from the Canadian superstar’s “Certified Lover Boy” album. Moreover, back in September 2015, Drake and Future dropped the “What a Time To Be Alive” mixtape. Rumors of a follow-up have swirled for years but a project is yet to materialize.

Cardi B Hosts AMA Awards & Wins Favorite Hip-Hop Song With “Up”

Cardi B wowed audiences worldwide as she presented the American Music Awards in Los Angeles last night (Nov 21.)

The “WOP” hitmaker wore an array of stunning outfits throughout the night but kicked off the proceedings in an elegant black floor-length gown. She accessorized the look in dramatic Cardi B fashion with a striking gold Schiaparelli mask and fingerless black gloves.

Meanwhile, other Cardi B looks included a Vegas showgirl style dramatic black headdress, a vibrant yellow number, and a Denim jacket heavily embellished with ornate gold swirls. The fashion icon also wore an array of interesting headpieces throughout the night, where she donned at least eight different outfits.

However, Cardi B was on hand for more than just hosting duties. The New York native was nominated for three awards, including Favorite Female Hip-Hop Artist and Favorite Music Video. Her hit song “Up” nabbed her the award for Favorite Hip-Hop Song. This latest trophy takes her total AMA wins total to six.

Finally, after entertaining all night long, the busy momma ended the show saying she had to get home to her babies and her hubby-hub.

Elsewhere, Cardi B features on the all-woman soundtrack to Halle Berry flick “Bruised” released last week. Listen to “Bet It” Below.

Method Man Says “Power Book II: Ghost” Was “Written Exclusively’ For Mary J Blige

Method Man stars alongside Mary J Blige in “Power Book II: Ghost” and heaped praise on her performance. Mary appears as drug dealing Queen pin Monet Tejada in the show – a role she’s more than equipped to take on. Meth said not only is the role perfectly suited for the soulstress but the show “was written exclusively for her.”

A post shared by Mary J Blige (@therealmaryjblige)

Meth, lawyer Davis McLean in the show, revealed in a recent interview that Mary’s star-power was a draw for audiences.

“Mary brought a big audience with her; they knew what they was doing,” he said in an interview with Metro. “Plus, Mary was a fan of this show and I think this show was written exclusively for her, especially with the Monet character which I think she is brilliant at.”

He continued: “I love seeing Mary outside of her comfort zone as far as being on-stage and singing and all that. She’s been getting her feet wet in this acting game and there’s only room for improvement and she has all my support.”

Method Man Says “Mary Is Our Royalty”

Furthermore, the Wu-Tang Clan member paid tribute to his fellow New Yorker, recognizing her cherished position in the music industry. “Mary’s not regular at all, she’s more real. This is our royalty regardless of how anyone else feels about her,” he said. “Mary is our royalty and we’re not going to let anyone tarnish this brand”

Additionally, Method Man dropped a few hints as to what viewers can expect from Monet Tejada in the show. “She’s bringing it this season – I just wish she’d hug her kids,” he announced with a laugh. “But in the business she’s in, she can’t be soft at all, it’s got to be tough love all around the board and she’s killing it.”

“Power Book II: Ghost” Cast Talk Crooked Cops, Fast Women And Vendettas On New Season

50 Cent has done it again with the next installation of his Power universe, “Power Book II: Ghost.” The hit show returns to Starz on Sunday, November 21st.

Like the previous shows, with “Ghost II,” the Queens native pulls together a web of characters to engage his audience with street tales dusted with icky New York politics, crooked cops, and a whole lot of hanky panky.

AllHipHop.com sat with members of the cast to get the low down on the upcoming season. Writer Nikki Duncan-Smith was able to get up close and personal with the cast, asking them questions about how their characters have grown, why is this story still so intriguing and find out if Tariq will stop getting caught up with girls — so he can get the bread to get his mom out of jail.

Check out the cast as they laugh and hint about the upcoming season, filmed at the tail end of the coronavirus pandemic.

Centralized around James St. Patrick’s son and the unscrupulous life is creating for himself on his college campus, it is abundantly clear is that this upcoming season is about legacy. It is also about the complicated nature of street wisdom, loyalty, and above all, influence.

Viewers will get to see how the trio of Tariq, Effie, and Brayden are essentially the new Ghost, Tommy, and Tasha.

When interviewing these three, they sheepishly grin while complimenting each other. They concur that Brayden is maturing dynamically.

Like most girls in the hood, Effie is brilliant and will showcase how she defies the troupes of the “homegirl in the crew.” They also agree that Tariq is his father’s son.

As he says in his interview, the crooked agent Cooper Saxe is still (as he says in his interview) intensely “creepy,” chasing the St. Patrick family down to fulfill a vendetta that he has deep in his bones.

And to the contrary, Councilman Tate, played by Larenz Tate, is still in angst because the family “keeps getting in his way.”

The Tejada Drug Organization, headed up by Mary J. Blige’s Monet, is strained this season. Generational mistrust, dysfunction, and the presence of an outsider have rocked their unit’s consistency.

There are numerous twists and turns that the audience will enjoy. Moreover, the plot this season is cliff-hanger-ishly complicated.

Exactly how we like your shows, Fif.

Exactly how we like them.

Tyler, The Creator Performs “M####” At 2021 AMAs: Watch

Tyler, The Creator delivered an epic rendition of his song “M####” at the American Music Awards on Sunday, (Nov. 21), at Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles. Christmas was in the air as the eclectic rapper wore a puffer jacket and shorts while performing the track from his sixth studio album “Call Me If You Get Lost.”

The set was a full-on winter wonderland as the camera panned out to reveal Tyler performing on the porch of a snow-covered cottage in the woods. Viewers were treated to a visual spectacle with white-tipped trees swaying in the background and snow flurries blowing into the frame.

Then, the California native turned up the energy as the strobe lights kicked in and day changed to night, the camera honing back in on him. Then, for the finale, Tyler hopped onto the back on a Vespa and rode off stage.

Other performers on the night alongside Tyler the Creator included Silk Sonic, Oliva Rodrigo, Chloe, Diplo, and more. Megan Thee Stallion was set to perform with BTS, however, she withdrew citing “an unexpected personal matter.”

Tyler, The Creator Also Picked Up A Special BET Award

Last month, Tyler was recognized for his impact on the Hip-Hop community. He was awarded the first-ever BET Hip-Hop “Rock The Bells Cultural Influence Award.”

As he collected the award, Tyler paid homage to those who came before him and paved the way.

“I wouldn’t be here or upon the stage or have this silly hat or anything without the Q-Tips, the André 3000s, the Chad Hugos, the Pharrells, the Kanye Wests, the Missy Elliotts, who no one ever brings up. Busta Rhymes, the Hype Williams who just took it to this different world. I preach those names and others that I didn’t name ’cause I’m limited on time.

Boosie Pursuing Higher Education: Enrolling At Jackson State University

Rap star Boosie has been a lightning rod for controversy over the years.

The rapper, who was once accused of murder, frequently ends up in the headlines – mainly for the wrong reasons.

However, his antics on social media often overshadow his critically acclaimed discography, which stretches back 21 years.

Lately, Boosie is strong headlines for his insane feud with openly gay rapper Lil Nas X, which has led many people to brand Boosie as homophobic.

Well, over the weekend, the rapper shared some extremely positive news. He is heading back to school. In the spring, Boosie is planning on enrolling at Jackson State University.

The announcement was made with the help of Jackson State’s football coach, the legendary Deion Sanders.

“Coach Prime” was on hand with Boosie, who announced after Jackson State tigers defeated Alcorn State University.

“I’ve been coming to Jackson since I was 14, and I love y’all. Y’all love my stanky drawers, and I love y’all back. And I just wanna tell y’all that y’all always been supportive of me. And it’s a big secret I wanna let it out. I’m enrolling in Jackson State next semester.”

The Baton Rouge, Louisiana bred rap star earned his GED while he was incarcerated in Angola Prison in 2013. Boosie appears to be serious about pursuing his higher education.

Boosie said he could not wait to be on campus with the rest of the students so he could “talk to girls with a book sack on.”

“I wanna feel normal. I miss that part of my life. I wanna enroll and be able to walk down the thing and go to class and try my brain cause I still have matter up there that needs to be explored,” Boosie said.

Boosie has yet to reveal what he plans to study.

The rapper, who turned 39 on November 14th, is currently preparing to release two albums: Back 2 BR and Mississippi.

The albums were supposed to drop on November 19th, but Boosie delayed the release out of respect for slain rapper Young Dolph.

Man Killed Near Residence Where Car Suspected In Young Dolph’s Murder Was Found

A person was shot and killed in the Orange Mound section of Memphis earlier today (November 21st), and the cops fear it could be connected to the murder of Young Dolph.

The rapper was gunned down as he bought cookies inside a local bakery, Makeda’s Homemade Cookies.

The police released surveillance photos of the two suspects who committed the murder, who fled in a white Mercedes-Benz.

Yesterday (November 20rh), the police located a white Mercedes-Benz at a residence they claim could have been involved in Young Dolph’s murder on November 5th, as well as another homicide on November 12th.

Now the Memphis Police Department is dealing with another homicide. Police are investigating a shooting earlier this afternoon, just hours after the vehicle was towed away.

According to witnesses, a dark sedan drove up and fired off at least six shots.

A young man who was just a few feet away from the house where the Mercedes-Benz was recovered was struck by the gunfire.

By the time the police arrived, the unnamed individual was dead.

Police are still investigating the shooting on Sunday. They have yet to release the victim’s identity.

Mercedes-Benz Used To Kill Young Dolph Connected To Another Homicide

Police believe the white Mercedes-Benz implicated in the murder of rap star Young Dolph was involved in another shooting earlier this week.

On November 5th, two suspects pulled up to Makeda’s Homemade Cookies in a white Mercedes-Benz and opened fire on Young Dolph as he purchased cookies inside the bakery.

Two suspects, one armed with a handgun and another with an assault rifle, shot the rapper multiple times, mortally wounding him.

The two gunmen fled in a waiting white Mercedes-Benz.

Yesterday (November 20th), police in Memphis recovered a white Mercedes-Benz in a driveway of a local residence in the Orange Mound section of the city.

Although police are being tight-lipped, sources said they suspect the Mercedes-Benz in question is the getaway vehicle.

Now, police and Covington say the Mercedes-Benz was involved in a deadly double shooting on November 12th.

On that day, two women were shot near South College Street. The cops say men in the Mercedes-Benz fired at the women and struck them multiple times.

The police identified one of the victims, Anita Wilson, who died from her injuries.

So far, police have yet to name suspects in the killing.

However, social media has been abuzz as internet sleuths claim to have identified Young Dolph’s killers.

According to unconfirmed reports, two local rappers who stole a Paper Route Empire chain from Young Dolph’s artist Big Moochie Grape, are behind Young Dolph’s death.

Although the reports are unsubstantiated, people commenting on both men’s’ posts are trolling them and calling for their arrests while tagging the Memphis, Memphis Police Department.

The two men in question denied involvement in the shooting during an Instagram live session.

But they gleefully showed off a PRE chain, although they could have been just seeking attention since many users claimed the jewelry was fake.

However, one of the men posted an ominous picture of him pointing a handgun on his Instagram story feed. During another Instagram live session, one of the men claimed there was “money on Young Dolph’s head.”

Police Locate Mercedes-Benz Used To Kill Young Dolph

Police in Memphis caught a significant break in the killing of rap star Young Dolph.

Young Dolph, Born Adolph Thornton Jr, was shot and killed on November 5th inside a local bakery named Makeda’s Homemade Butter Cookies.

Two gunmen shot the rapper at point-blank range. One of the suspects shot Young Dolph with a handgun, while another wielded an assault-style rifle.

Young Dolph Suspects

The 36-year-old rapper was killed immediately, while the gunman fled in a light gray Mercedes-Benz.

According to reports, the luxury vehicle used in the shooting was recovered at a residence in the Orange Mound section of the city.

It is unclear if the people who live at the house have been questioned or are considered suspects. However, investigators may be close to cracking the case.

“I understand social media is buzzing, however, nothing additional is available at this time. Once additional info is available to share, trust and believe that we will get that information to you,” Sgt. Louis Brownlee told The Commercial Appeal.

Investigators expect to recover forensic evidence from the vehicle in hopes of catching the two suspects wanted for Young Dolph’s murder.

The car was towed away from the house.

The cops have been scouring social media and investigating hundreds of tips related to the rap star’s death, but so far, they have been unable to figure out a motive for Young Dolph’s murder.

Meanwhile, Dolph’s artist, cousin, and frequent collaborator Key Glock has finally broken his silence regarding the murder.

The rapper, who wiped his IG clean on the day of the murder, posted a somber message to his stories feed.

“STOP asking me if I’m ok Knowing damn well I ain’t…,” Key Glock said.

Game Accused Hiding Earnings From Cameo App, Marijuana Business As Priscilla Rainey Pursues $7 Million Judgment

The woman who won a $7.1 million judgment against rap star Game claims he continues to create shell companies to avoid paying her.

Priscilla Rainey is attempting to seize earnings Game has made through the popular Cameo app.

According to Rainey and her lawyer, Game uses F12 & Associates to collect payments from Cameo, his company Trees By Game, and his performances.

Rainey insists Game, born Jayceon Taylor, made almost $20,000 between October 29, 2020, through January 28, 2021, which Cameo transferred to F12 & Associates.

Rainey is attempting to seize the company’s bank account to help satisfy the enormous judgment the rap star owes.

“In addition to [Game’s] repeated evasive tactics before, during, and after trial, Taylor has repeatedly flouted his obligation to pay Rainey,” her lawyer, Francis Curiel, told the court.

The issues between Priscilla Rainey and Game started when she was a contestant on his short-lived reality show, “She Got Game.”

Rainey claimed Game sexually assaulted her during a taping of an episode, when he put his hand up her skirt, rubbed her bare v#####, and “juggled her breasts.”

Game vehemently denied the accusations, and criminal charges were never filed against the rap star. Nevertheless, Priscilla Rainey sued the rap star in 2015 for $1.3 million over the ordeal.

Instead of defending himself, Game skipped out on all court dates, infuriating the judge presiding over the case.

In November of 2016, Priscilla Rainey was awarded $1.13 million in compensatory damages and awarded an extra $6 million in punitive damages.

Game was sanctioned for millions for disrespecting the court and insulting Rainey by calling her a “thirsty Gatorade mascot of a transvestite” who was involved in “Tranny Panty” activity.

The rapper contested the judgment. However, the United States Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit shot down his appeal in October of 2019, clearing the way for Rainey to enforce the massive judgment.

So far, Game is sticking to his promise never to pay Priscilla Rainey after being hit with the massive default judgment.

“People out here dying from the rona . . . n blogs out here creating false narratives for this Waffle House roach who doing anything her thirsty ass can try n take money from me,” Game said in a since-deleted post.

“He’s broke, she got all his money, what he gone do now, better go record another album, etc.”…… Y’all been saying she got 7 million for 7 years & yet here I am, laid up tipsy off my 5th quarantini watching Tiger King lol …. they’ll find Carol Baskin’s husband before she ever get a penny from under my car seat….coming up next, a stop by the bank to dump this s### in….,” the rapper said.

His refusal to pay Priscilla Rainey is costing him dearly.

In April of 2020, Priscilla Rainey was granted the right to all earnings from his independent record label, L.A. Prolific Records.

In June of 2020, a judge granted Priscilla Rainey all of the money earned from his album Born 2 Rap, in addition to royalties Game had accrued on 360 of the registered works created under his name as a songwriter and/or composer through Performing Rights Organization BMI.

Rainey also accused Game of transferring valuable assets like the deed to his mansion and the trademarks for his name to his manager Wack 100.

More recently, Priscilla Rainey seized all of the money in Game’s Cash App account to satisfy the judgment, which has swelled to $7,375,551.25 as of October of 2021.

According to Rainey, Game has only paid $293,902.29 as of press time.

Men Involved In Kim Kardashian Robbery In Paris Heading To Trial

The French government has identified twelve individuals in the October 2016 robbery of Kim Kardashian.

During her marriage to Kanye West, the reality star was targeted in a $10 million jewelry heist. According to Page Six, the investigation, which lasted five years, will finally be sent to trial.

While no trial date has been set, the authorities have a “range of charges” connected to the robbery that terrorized the billionaire.

Kim Kardashian shared that the people who robbed her of her jewels, including a large diamond ring given to her by Ye, burst into her Parisian apartment.

The robbers, who gained access to Kim’s hotel by posing as police officers, tied her up at gunpoint, gagged her, and placed her in a bathtub.

The suspects were eventually rounded up, arrested, and jailed. However, some were released (pending trial) for health concerns.

One of those men was Yunice Abbas, the man so bold about his part in this heist that he wrote and published a book about it in 2020.

Abbas allegedly worked with five other men to plan the robbery of Kim Kardashian during Fashion Week.

Aomar Ait Khedache, the man some say was the principal strategist who devised the get-rich-quick plan, sent Kardashian an apology letter from behind bars.

In French, he wrote, “After observing your emotion and realizing the psychological damages I inflicted … I decided to write to you, not to obtain from you some sort of indulgence.”

He continued, “Know that I fully sympathize with the pain you are enduring, your children, your husband, and your close ones. I hope that this letter will allow you to forget little by little the trauma that you suffered by my fault.”

Owners of Makeda’s Cookies Grieve Over Loss Of Young Dolph

Young Dolph, the rapper who was murdered outside a bakery on Wednesday, November 17th, was beloved by the community.

One family in particular, while not connected by blood, is grieving the loss particularly hard.

But who are they?

According to WREG, the family that owns the Makeda’s Cookies (the establishment where Dolph was shopping before his death), has finally spoken out publicly about how his death impacted them personally.

Raven Winton, the daughters of the Pamela and Maurice Hill, the founding owners, said, “It has been a challenge. We’ve had a couple of sleepless nights since this happened. We just want the city to know that we are so, so sorry you guys had to endure this and see this.”

“Please pray for his family,” she shared. “That’s just unreal to me. I can’t even imagine what they’re going through.”

Young Dolph was not simply just a celebrity. To them, he was family.

And like real family, Winton’s deepest concerns are for his real family, saying, “Young Dolph’s wife, she’s supported us. We appreciate that. She’s backing us saying he enjoyed the cookies and was there to pick up cookies for us all the time. So Please back them up, support them.”

Kanye West And Drake To Host Massive Benefit Concert For Larry Hoover

Kanye West and Drake did the unthinkable last week when they reconciled and ended their long-standing beef.

And now, in an amazing plot twist, the pair are about to share the stage during a concert next month in Los Angeles.

Kanye West just posted a flyer to his Instagram account announcing the “Free Larry Hoover Benefit Concert.”

In a nod to Drake, Kanye posted a flyer for the concert with the caption “God’s Plan,” one of the Toronto rappers’ biggest hits.

The Feds claim Larry Hoover still leads the Gangster Disciple gang from prison.

Over the years, Kanye West has advocated for Larry Hoover in many ways. In October of 2018, he asked President Trump to grant Larry Hoover clemency during a luncheon.

And on his latest album DONDA a message by Larry Hoover Jr. is featured at the end of the song “Jesus Lord.” Larry Hoover Jr. also appeared alongside Kanye West during his high-profile Drink Champs interview with N.O.R.E. AND DJ EFN.

“He’s [Larry Hoover] been away for my whole life. My kids are grown. My daughter has never touched her grandfather, she’s 22. My son never touched his grandfather, he’s 14.” Larry Hoover Jr. explained. “It’s all because of Kanye. And you see how he’s open and not scared to address situations. Also coming from Chicago, to bring up the fact and give me the platform to speak on my father and keep putting information out there with the narrative that needs to be put out there. You may have heard of Larry Hoover’s leader of the Gangster Disciples. You never heard of Larry Hoover as the leader in the community that was an organizer that brought people together.”

The “Free Larry Hoover” benefit concert is going down on December 9th, 2021 at the Los Angeles Coliseum.

Young Dolph’s Artists Press On With Charitable Thanksgiving Event After Rapper’s Death

As the United States prepares to celebrate the nation’s annual Thanksgiving holiday, one might think that friends of the late rapper Young Dolph would be too sad to celebrate.

However, that is not the case. Those closest to the “Preach” rapper have decided to express their love for him by giving back … something he enjoyed.

According to WFMZ, the bereaved collective gave out Thanksgiving turkeys in his honor at the St. James Missionary Baptist Church in Memphis, Tennessee on Friday, November 19.

Originally, Dolph, who was murdered on Wednesday, November 17th outside of a local bakery, had planned to give the birds out himself. The news outlet informs that after his unfortunate demise, his friends and associates stepped up.

They gave out more than just turkeys. His signees, Undaunted, Paper Route Empire, church volunteers, and community activists gave out a whole dinner menu to the needy. In addition to the turkeys, people were given stuffing mix and cranberry sauce in a COVID-19 contact-less drive-by pick-up.

Bee Bee Jones, one of his label’s employees, helped to organize the effort. Still grieving, he said, “When I hear his music, I just break down. The truth in all of it, and where he came from, that’s what really gets to me sometimes.”

But Jones is still pushing on, sharing that by making sure that marginal people of the community were taken care of during this holiday season would align with who Dolph was as a man.

“This is what he would want us to do right here, still keep on giving,” the 38-year-old revealed. “He came from nothing, but he wanted to make sure everybody got some.”
