Over the past few days, we’ve heard “those” rumors about Lil Durk.
But rather than truck in the muck (really, people — we need to do a lot better about how we address some things), we decided to get to the bottom of it all.
Reportedly, Lil Durk was caught cheating on his longtime girlfriend and baby mama, India Royale, with a trans woman. The birth or chosen gender of the person he was allegedly cheating with, however, remains irrelevant. What is relevant is the stepping out on his longtime girlfriend and baby mama, especially since he’s been all but overcompensating for their relationship in songs.
Cheating is wrong, no matter who does it, no matter who it’s done with, and no matter what the reason for the cheating is. PERIOD.
What we also know for certain is that Lil Durk deactivated his Instagram (at least, as of this writing), that India Royale has deleted all of her photos with Lil Durk from her Instagram, and the pair went quiet.
Then, the pair went live on her Instagram a few hours ago to let everyone know that yes, as a matter of fact, they’re still together and they’re still solid.
Lil Durk and India Royale went live together to make sure y’all know they solid! 👏🏾 pic.twitter.com/ZUFVO6sINZ
In short, what really happened with Lil Durk? The same old sh*t that happens with every dude and chick in the industry: they got messy, they got caught, and they got with someone to tolerate all that sh*t in the name of fame. Stay winning, I guess.

“If it’s over an original beat it will be there,” she tweeted.
Something For Thee Hotties will be Megan Thee Stallion’s first project since 2020’s Good News, which was billed as her debut studio album.

Outside of music, Hot Girl Meg recently became a Popeyes franchise owner and partnered with the fast-food chain for her own sauce. The new “Hottie Sauce” is available now for chicken sandwiches and nuggets.
As part of an ongoing relationship with the Los Angeles, California-based GRAMMY Museum, AllHipHop was invited to attend a recent discussion with Nas and Hit-Boy.
Located at LA Live in the heart of downtown Los Angeles, The GRAMMY Museum and Culture Impact Agency gave fans an unprecedented look at how Nas and Hit-Boy have a one-of-a-kind synergy.
The conversation also revealed how the pair broke barriers as the premier rapper/producer duo in Hip-Hop.
While discussing their chemistry and the process of creating music together, Nas and Hit-Boy revealed how it was the lauded and elusive Frank Ocean who brought them together nearly seven years ago.
While Nas recalled the Hit-Boy produced song “Royalty” (featuring RaVaughn) off his Lost Tapes 2 album, Hit-Boy revealed they were introduced via a Frank Ocean collaboration.
“We linked up years ago, probably like seven years ago,” Nas explained. “So we was already kind of like talking about working, I would see him, and we was going through stuff. And so we was already trying to work, and years just went by. And I was just like, man, I had this song on Lost Tapes 2, and he [Hitboy] produced it. But I hadn’t seen him. Somebody from his team sent me the beat. I can’t remember how I got it. It was on Lost Tapes 2.”
At that point, Hit-Boy interjected and said, “We got it from Frank Ocean. I did the song with Frank and sent it to you.”
As Nas continued after the fans cheered for Frank Ocean, he explained how the song with Frank Ocean was for his controversial Untitled album, which was initially titled N#####.
“He did the song with Frank, and I got it from him. I still don’t know how I got it from him – we was in the same studio or something,” Nas continued. “So I had the song, and then it was supposed to be on the Untitled album. So the lyrics are kind of racy that Frank was singing. And I think he didn’t want to go that route anymore because it was a little bit, you know, I’m saying strong lyrics, like, politically strong. So we didn’t do it; we didn’t go that far with it. But we did move on and take the singing on it. And so I just know if I get with him [Hit-Boy], it’s gonna be on.
“Turns out we in LA same time. I’m working in a studio, Hit like sends word to Double, everybody around like yo….Double sends me word, ‘Yo Hit-Boy says, ‘when you coming to the studio?'” I said, ‘Hit-Boy said that? I’ll be there tomorrow,'” Nas said.
Hit-Boy Says Nas Initially Wanted To Do A Valentines Day Project
The two continued to explain how Nas initially wanted to do a Valentine’s Day album with Hit-Boy, but the energy was more than that and yielded “Replace Me” featuring hook extraordinaire Don Toliver and “All Bad” featuring funk master Anderson Pak.
“He wanted to do like a Valentine’s Day album, just like, like four or five love songs to put out. So look, I don’t know if y’all are familiar with KD1, but the song ‘Replace Me’ with Don Toliver and ‘All Bad’ with Anderson .Paak. That was the first song that we did, ‘All Bad’ with Anderson .Paak, and so that was the original energy. We wasn’t even trying to take his off how we did, essentially, but it just happened.”
Check back for more on this GRAMMY Museum discussion with Nas and Hit-Boy in the coming weeks.
Snoop Dogg is preparing “one of the greatest Super Bowl halftime shows” of all time.
The chart-topping rapper will be among a star-studded list of performers – including Dr. Dre, Eminem, Mary J. Blige and Kendrick Lamar – at the sporting showpiece in February, and Snoop has given fans an insight into his preparations.
Snoop Dogg said: “Me, Dr. Dre, Eminem, had a light discussion about what we trying to do. It’s about to go full speed ahead.”
The 50-year-old star is determined to give fans a show to remember, telling Entertainment Tonight: “I tell you, this it’s gonna be one of the greatest Super Bowl halftime shows that you ever witnessed. Dr. Dre is on it. He’s putting his time together with the specifics and the dynamics of what we’re doing.”
Earlier this year, Snoop Dogg promised fans that they won’t be disappointed by the halftime show.
The rapper explained that he was still waiting for his “instructions”, but he also pledged to be “on point” on February 13.
Asked about his preparations for the event, Snoop said: “I gotta wait for their orders and instructions, so we’ll be on point … whenever we get the information.”
Despite this, Snoop admitted at the time that he hadn’t yet had a conversation about the set list for the event at the SoFi Stadium in California.
Discussing his pre-show planning, Snoop explained: “We just talked about creative input and what we want it to look like and feel like, and then we’ll get to the music because we’ve got a lot of music to choose from, so we just want to make sure we got the creative side – the look of it, the feel of it and then we get to the music.”
Have you ever wished you could enjoy the thrills of a party without leaving your house? Samaha Studio’s new song “Aspire” sets the mood for dancing and partying wherever it is played. As the name implies, the song is groovy and funky, and it has received a lot of attention from fans.
“Aspire” is a fresh take on house music. While preserving its melodic distinctiveness, it makes you want to dance. It’s unlike any other EDM song you’ve ever heard. Though it is influenced by David Guerra’s music, it is distinctive in its own right. It’s not like the vast majority of songs. It’s also one of the things that sets Samaha apart from the competition.
Samaha collaborated with Rumor Records to create this track. With “Aspire,” they performed a fantastic job. They also contributed to the production of Samaha’s debut EP and two extra tracks. This collaboration was a perfect match because it presented us with so many intriguing tunes to listen to.

Yung Miami is trying to enjoy the success of “Strub the Ground” with Quavo — but Diddy is still thirst-trapping in the comments.
This summer, the City Girls rapper and the music industry mogul sparked rumors that they were dating when a video of Yung Miami sitting on Sean Combs’ lap emerged.
No less of an authority than Complex noted that Diddy and Yung Miami were enjoying the increased attention on their dating life. “Yung Miami kicked off speculation about her dating life when she shared a series of photos ending with a snap of her holding hands with Diddy. The pair were both in attendance at Quality Control CEO Pierre “Pee” Thomas’ 40th birthday in Atlanta. Diddy later shared the same photo, although neither of them has confirmed or denied the speculation so far,” they reported.
So…are Diddy and Yung Miami dating, or is this all for publicity? We think it’s the latter. But you be the judge.

“Mud Baby” is a raw song straight from the streets to the recording booth.
Both HBK Banz and Lil Chris go all in when speaking on what it’s taken to come up from where they started. The deep and heavy beats of the song match the gravity of the stories that are spoken by HBK Banz and Lil Chris.
Both artists reflect on the struggles of life, where they came from and what they have gone through to reach the life they have today.
Chicago’s Lil Chris sings on the catchy chorus: “I’m having dreams about success, I’m having nightmares about failing…” — summing up the pressures of maintaining the lavish lifestyle they now have, all while not getting too lost in the fortune and forgetting where they came from.
Produced by producer Danny Hajj (2KBABY & Fase Yoda), “Mud Baby” hits all streaming platforms on October 22nd.
Christopher Ward known artistically as Lil Chris is a multi-talented rapper, producer, and writer, hailed as “The New Anthem of Chicago.”

Lil Chris has worked with, and performed alongside Cardi B., Twista, Lupe Fiasco, Future, Rick Ross, Kodak Black, and Yo Gotti.

Rapper Pooh Shiesty is to plead guilty in his Florida shooting case.
The hitmaker, real name Lontrell Williams, was charged with discharging a firearm during a violent crime, conspiracy and robbery back in June and has been in jail since early July.
While he previously pleaded not guilty to a four-count federal indictment – which carries a potential maximum sentence of life in prison – Pooh Shiesty told U.S. District Judge K. Michael Moore on Thursday that he’s planning to accept a plea deal from prosecutors.
His’ co-defendant, road manager Bobby Brown, is also changing his plea from not guilty to guilty.
“We’ve entered into plea negotiations because there have been developments in the case that I think changed the dynamics of the case,” defense lawyer Bradford Cohen told Rolling Stone, before declining to elaborate further on these developments.
Pooh Shiesty’s decision to change his plea means that the jury trial into the case, due to begin Monday, will now be delayed.
The rapper, Brown and third co-defendant Jayden Darosa allegedly shot two men at the Landon Hotel in Bay Harbor Islands, Florida, during a deal to purchase marijuana and “high-end athletic sneakers” in October 2020.
The incident was captured on a video surveillance system.
Domani has grown up right before our eyes. As cliche as it is, it is absolute facts. As a member of the Harris Family, he has literally been on the television since he was a young lad. However, that is a lifetime ago. Now, at the age of 19, he’s matured tremendously and much of that growth is now manifested in his music.
Domani has released SKYDIVE and it has hit the industry hard after a brief free fall. “It’s all about taking a leap of faith, but you don’t know if the parachute is going to open or where you’ll land,” he says. The opus features a gang of incredible artists to support the project. Anthony Hamilton, Rapsody (“Fallin”) South African rapper Nasty C (“Friends”), blood cousin Shad Da God (“Burnout”), producer Mike Will, Natalie Orfilia (“Domino”), Davionne, and D Smoke represent well on of the lead single/visual on the focus track “I Know It’s Real.” One listen and it is apparent this young Atlanta label head has a long journey ahead of him.
Inside WonWorld Studios, with his publicist and videographer in tow, Domani strolls in to discuss anything on the table. What happens? He responds like the seasoned pro that he is. In this conversation with Chuck “Jigsaw” Creekmur, Domani discusses his ascension to maturity, his musical development, his family hustle, and even the drama associated with his parents. Remarkably, the names T.I. and Tiny Harris do not appear in this exclusive, insightful interview (LOL!), but Domani is still an integral part of a family that closely resembles a super-human group.
And yet, Domani manages to jump from the nest, apart from his famous parents, to build a pair of sturdy wings all his own.
A Swedish rapper has been shot and killed just one year after getting kidnapped by a rival gang — and his death has sparked a larger conversation in the country about its burgeoning gang problem.
CNN is reporting that the Swedish rapper Einar — whose real name is Nils Gronberg — was found shot to death in an upscale district in Stockholm called Hammarby Sjostad. Einar’s death came just one year after he was kidnapped and assaulted by a rival rap gang.
“A young life has been extinguished, and I understand that he meant a lot to many young people. It is tragic,” Prime Minister Stefan Lofven told TT, Sweden’s national news agency.
Though relatively unknown on American shores, the Swedish rapper was one of the most popular in Scandinavia. Einar had tens of millions of streams on music platforms and won several Swedish Grammys and other awards.
“The limits of what can be accepted in a civilized country have been passed a very long time ago,” wrote Johan Forsell, a member of Sweden’s Moderates Party, on Twitter. “We need action not words to turn the tide and get Sweden in order.”
Thus far, no arrests have been made in Einar’s death.
Olubowale “Wale” Akintimehin routinely refers to himself as one of the greatest rappers of all time. While there are certainly Hip Hop fans who agree and disagree with that declaration, the DMV-bred performer stands by his belief that he is one of the GOATs.
This week saw the arrival of Wale’s seventh studio LP. Folarin II dropped on October 22 with high-profile contributions by J. Cole, Rick Ross, Chris Brown, and other artists.
As part of the rollout for Folarin II, Wale spoke with Nadeska for Apple Music 1’s Rap Life Radio. The conversation included Wale discussing musicians receiving their metaphoric flowers while they can still smell them.
“It’s a lot of ways to look at it. I give flowers to my inspirations, my OGs, my contemporaries, my peers, and myself. When I say I’m one of the greatest rappers of all time, I strongly believe that. It might not be a popular take but I strongly believe that,” said Wale.
He continued, “This industry’s built on a lot of fake flowers and a lot of silent flowers. I think Westside Gunn said something like, ‘Shout out to Tyler because he gave me my flowers in public.’ That type of stuff goes a long way. Public perception and narratives and stuff like that.”
Throughout his career, Wale has secured four Top 10 albums on the Billboard 200 chart, six Top 10 songs on the Hot Rap Songs chart, and one Grammy nomination. He also collaborated with chart-topping acts like Rick Ross, Meek Mill, Lady Gaga, Usher, Lil Wayne, Drake, Nicki Minaj, Chris Brown, Miguel, and many others.
“Sometimes I feel like I lead the league in quiet pats on the back – sneaky praises. So it’s like, you got to give yourself them flowers and be man enough and confident enough to give your peers them too when they do well. That’s pretty much what this is about,” Wale told Nadeska.
Two-time NBA champion Kawhi Leonard curated a 7-track music release titled Culture Jam Vol. 1. The Hip Hop-focused compilation landed on streaming platforms today (October 22).
Kawhi Leonard recruited YoungBoy Never Broke Again, Rod Wave, Gunna, Polo G, Lil Uzi Vert, A Boogie wit da Hoodie, Capella Grey, Wale, Stefflon Don, Ty Dolla $ign, Yung Bleu, NLE Choppa, and BlueBucksClan for the project.
Talk of a Kawhi Leonard-backed album began earlier this year. The Los Angeles Clippers player spoke about working on Culture Jam during post-game press conferences.
“It merges basketball and music together. It’s always been something on my mind I wanted to do. It’s something that can uplift our community,” said Kawhi Leonard in May.
He later added, “It’s a lot of the hottest artists on there. It’s just pretty much just putting songs together, collaborating, making sure we’re giving back to the community.”
Proceeds from Culture Jam Vol. 1 will go to The Mamba & Mambacita Sports Foundation. The second edition of Culture Jam will drop at a later date.
Big Sean is back in the news this week. The Detroit-raised rap star gained a lot of attention for his nearly 9-minute freestyle performance on the L.A. Leakers show.
Plus, Big Sean let loose the new Hit-Boy-produced song “What A Life” on Friday. He also took to Twitter to share his thoughts on various topics, including his association with Kanye West’s G.O.O.D. Music collective.
“I also really miss the brotherhood I [used] to have with G.O.O.D. Music, I don’t know what happened. Guess those [were] the GOOD ol’ days. It’s all love, but we use to really be clique’d up,” tweeted Big Sean.
I also really miss the brotherhood I use to have with GOOD music, I don’t know what happened. Guess those the GOOD ol days. It’s all love, but we use to really be clique’d up
Big Sean was routinely viewed as one of the key artists on the G.O.O.D. Music label. The Midwesterner contributed to numerous G.O.O.D. records, including the Cruel Summer compilation track “Clique” with Kanye West and Jay-Z.
In addition, West allegedly owed the Dark Sky Paradise album creator $3 million. Big Sean recently tweeted, “I’m really embarrassed at some of these people I thought [were] really my friends, I know better… it’s called the music BUSINESS, duh lol.”
The 33-year-old Roc Nation affiliate also addressed not getting properly paid during his viral L.A. Leakers freestyle. Big Sean rapped, “A lot of songs I wrote for icons that I still ain’t even get publishing on. And some of them up more than me. I don’t know how they sleep at night knowing they’re wrong.”

The discussion around Dave Chappelle’s Netflix Special, “The Closer” continues. On Wednesday (October 20,) a group of Netflix employees staged a protest at Netflix HQ over the company’s decision to stand by the comedian.
At precisely the same time, Chappelle was on stage in London performing to a sold-out crowd.
Chappelle has not spoken publicly about the backlash surrounding his set although his representative has now spoken to “TMZ” on his behalf.
Dave Chappelle Is Open To Dialogue
“Dave stands by his art: No more jokes about transgenders until we can all laugh together. The streets are talking and Dave is listening. At some point, when everyone is open, I’m sure the communities will come together.”
The spokesperson further confirmed Dave Chappelle is willing and open to a discussion if Netflix actually reaches out to him. The rep claims Netflix is yet to get in touch and nobody from the streaming platform has contacted Chapelle or his team to arrange a meeting or conversation.
These claims directly contradict what the organizer of Wednesdays’ protest has said about the situation. Ashlee Marie Preston claims to have invited Chappelle to a meeting so that they could discuss the damage she and her supporters believe Dave has caused the LGTBQ+ community. However, she said no such meeting happened as “Dave chose not to show up.”
The comedian’s team denies this and has no answer as to why she would make those claims. They point out Chapelle is not against open discussions with any group, as he said in the Netflix special.
It is reported that Chapelle has some concerns about Netflix removing “The Closer” from the platform and is planning a 10-city U.S. tour in the event it happens. “Variety” spoke to fans who attended the penultimate night of the outspoken comedian’s week-long U.K tour. Multiple attendees confirmed that he would take the show on the road if Netflix pulled the show.
Fans of Pusha T have had a long wait for a new project from the Virginia rapper; Daytona was released way back in 2018. However, it looks as though the wait may soon be over…
Speaking to Billboard, Pusha T revealed that a new album is on the way and says it’s better than his last offering.“I think I’ve topped Daytona for sure” he said. “One-thousand percent.”
Push is currently working on the project which is in the mixing stage. He is yet to finalize features on the project but has plans for new music before the year is out.
He also wants to deliver more than just music for his fans to stream, “I want to give fans an offering of not only great music but something merch-wise, hard copy, vinyl, everything,” he said.
Pusha T also revealed that his upcoming album is produced by his long-time collaborators, The Neptunes. GOOD music boss, Kanye West also gets a production credit. Despite having worked together extensively in the past, Pharrell listened to Pusha’s new music with a critical ear.
“I was playing some raps for [Pharrell] in Miami and he was like ‘It’s cool, it’s good, but I think you’re gonna get mixed up with other people, and people thinking you’re all rapping over the same instrumental,’ and I was like ‘You disrespectful jerk, you serious?’ and he said ‘Nah man, you’re always gonna say the greatest things but you want to be different? We’ve got to make compositions.'”
Big Sean is having a great week and it just got better with the release of his new song “What a Life,” produced by Hit-Boy.
In the track, he shares his thoughts on his journey and the highs and lows of fame. “Only get one life, swear I almost died twice,” go the lyrics. “I went triple platinum more than three times, what a life, man/Feel like god when they bless me with the trick dice/And I left her ass on read, even though it was enticin’.”
Yesterday (October 21,) Big Sean teased the project on his socials just hours before it dropped and told his fans that something titled “WHAT A LIFE” is coming “@ MIDNIGHT!”
A few hours later, the Detroit native revealed that a video for the project is on the way, arriving today (October 22) at noon. He shared images of himself covered in bees, presumably filming the visuals for “What a Life”
“WHAT A LIFE OUT NOW! Video @ Noon!!!” Big Sean wrote in the caption. “In the song I said 100 B’s, but it was really 65,000 🐝’s on me. this not photoshopped neither. I HAD 65,000 Bee’s on me… love to the 🐝 hive. I just ain’t want y’all to think it was some damn effects or some s###. WHAT A LIFE VIDEO TOMORROW @ noon! Song out now!!!”
Sean also gave his fans some bars earlier this week as he made a stop at Power 106’s “LA Leakers” show to deliver a 9-minute freestyle. With so many quotables, expect to see some of Big Sean’s bars in an Instagram caption or two!
Listen to “What a Life” and watch Big Seans “LA Leakers” freestyle below.
Elton John has just released his new project. One of the most anticipated guest appearances is the feature from Young Thug and Nicki Minaj! It was the collaboration nobody expected or saw coming, but when you think about it..it makes perfect sense! All three are flamboyant, incredible artists at the top of their game.
Elton John has previously spoken about working with both rappers.
“This was one of two songs I wrote the first day I spent in the studio with Andrew Watt, but it began its life as very much an Elton John song and I didn’t really like it, it needed something. And that’s what Andrew did, he chopped up the song and moved the chorus to the beginning, and put on a track that a rapper would use – it was brilliant! That’s when we got Young Thug involved. I’ve admired Young Thug for a while and he sampled one of my songs on his track, High, back in 2018 so it was great to collaborate again,” said Elton.
Speaking about Nicki’s inclusion in the song he said, “I was so pleased when Nicki agreed to do it. I’m very grateful to have such talented artists from a totally different genre to me on this album and that they’ve included me.”
“I mean, I’ve seen Marshall [Mathers] do it in Detroit, but I’ve never seen someone like Thug come in and do that,” Elton explained. “In the end, I had to leave because I think he felt a bit intimidated that I was there and I just wanted him to relax. But it’s just an amazing moment in my musical life… I have no understanding of how rap records are put together and it’s fascinating to watch.”
