Hollywood Hulk Hogan Booed Out the Building at Netflix’s “Monday Night Raw”

Dear, Hulkster,

We don’t love you no mo’, OK?

Hollywood Hulk Hogan did NOT get the hero’s welcome he was probably expecting last night. The 71-year-old WWE legend made a surprise appearance this week at Netflix’s “Monday Night Raw” in Los Angeles. The old cow got hit with a tsunami of boos. My boy eventually just left the building.

The Hulkster came out to a song called Real American,” rocking a shirt that did not discourage the rumors that he’s a raging racist. Pulling up with old manger Jimmy Hart, you’d think the crowd would’ve loved the vibe. Nope.

The moment Hogan stepped to the mic, 18,000 boos rained on him. He tried to gas up the fans by saying they were his “greatest tag team partner.”

“You, the fans, have been my greatest tag team partner because you guys have stuck with me through thick and thin, dudes,” Hogan said.

NAH! They know you, brother! We remember everything you did, punk. Nobody’s forgiving or forgetting.

It was not even his night. It was Netflix’s evening anyway. The Netflix era of WWE is off to a wild start. So, we’ll mark this one down in the history books. It’s a brand-new day for sports entertainment, and the digital streets are talking.

The premiere was nothing short of legendary.

John Cena, The Rock, “The American Nightmare” Cody Rhodes, Bianca Belair, Logan Paul and others showed up. The action was crazy and this will be a weekly thing for Netflix now. Netflix and WWE are officially in the ring together. For the first time in 31 years, WWE Raw is now streaming live—every week—exclusively on Netflix.

U.S., Canada, U.K. and Latin America are on the list of nations able to see it. Other regions are coming soon. Stay tuned. I heard the NFL is next, but you didn’t hear that from us!

Oh, wait…yes. you did!

Beat it, Hulk! There are no more Hulkamaniacs!

Boldy James & RichGains Drop Ominous “Murder During Drug Traffic (MDDT)” Album

Detroit rapper Boldy James has unveiled his latest mixtape, Murder During Drug Traffic (MDDT). The project continues his prolific output of music. The project offers a diverse range of sounds and narratives across its runtime. Early reactions from fans and listeners have been divided. Give it a listen and tell us what you think in the comments.

The mixtape opens with a strong start. Tracks like “Mixed Drinks” delve into personal themes that highlight Boldy’s introspective lyricism. “Janky” has the Detroit native comparing himself to Slick Rick “without the eyepatch.” Some of the critiques hinge on the production and mixes. Is this a stylistic choice or what? Either way, the noticeable sound difference has proven distracting to average listeners.

Despite the divided response, Boldy’s lyrical talent shines throughout the mixtape. As MDDT continues to be heard by more, we’ll see if the reception pans out. For now, enjoy the music.

Trey Songz Pleads With Judge, Claims $11M Judgment “Will Ruin His Life”

Trey Songz is pleading with a judge not to enforce a “devastating” $11 Million default judgment awarded in a battery lawsuit.

Last November, a judge ruled Songz must pay more than $11 million in damages to Maryland Capitol police officer Tyrelle Dunn, who claims he was injured while trying to rescue his wife from Songz’s Las Vegas hotel room in November 2021.

However, according to a motion filed by the embattled singer’s legal team, both the lawsuit and the multi-million-dollar judgment came as a surprise to Trey Songz, per In Touch

The filing asserts that Dunn did not properly serve the summons and complaint, and Songz only learned of the lawsuit on November 27, 2024, “after news broke about Dunn’s default judgment.”

Songz’s attorney says the singer “deserves to have his day in court to defend himself,” adding that enforcing the judgment “will be devastating to [Trey Songz] and will ruin his life.”

Trey Songz staunchly denies the allegations. His attorney referenced the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department’s months-long criminal investigation.

“They separated witnesses and took their statements, confiscated mobile phones, and obtained a search warrant of [Songz’s] DNA and other evidence, the filing reads in part. “Over the next several months, the police conducted a thorough criminal investigation and found no wrongdoing by [Songz]. The District Attorney’s office did not file any charges.”

Meanwhile, Dunn reportedly urged the court to reject the singer’s request to overturn the default judgment. His lawyers argued the process server had properly served Songz.

A judge has yet to rule on the matter.

Will Smith Causes Online Chaos With “Matrix” Post

Will Smith ignited a frenzy online Monday (January 6) with a cryptic Instagram video suggesting links to The Matrix franchise, only for sources to later quash speculation that the actor will be joining the fifth installment of the sci-fi series.

The brief video, styled in the signature green-on-black lettering of The Matrix, featured a series of loaded messages typed across a screen.

One read, “In 1997, the Wachowskis offered Will Smith the role of Neo in The Matrix. Smith turned it down. He chose Wild Wild West, believing it was a better fit for him at the time. But the question remains: What would The Matrix have been like with Will Smith as Neo?”

As that message faded, another appeared: “Wake up, Will… The Matrix has you…”

The uncaptioned post quickly sent fans into a speculative spiral, with some theorizing the Men in Black star would appear as an alternate Neo in the upcoming film. Others wondered if Smith was teasing a related project like an ad campaign or musical endeavor.

Despite the excitement, both Variety and The Hollywood Reporter confirmed through their sources that Smith is not involved in the fifth Matrix movie.

Warner Bros. had announced plans for the next chapter of The Matrix in 2022, with Drew Goddard, known for Bad Times at the El Royale, set to write and direct.

As the first entry not helmed by Lana and Lilly Wachowski, the project will see Lana Wachowski taking on an executive producer role.

The Matrix originally premiered in 1999, with Keanu Reeves cast as Neo, a part the Wachowskis had first offered to Smith.

Reeves led the franchise to massive cultural and cinematic acclaim, returning for three sequels: The Matrix Reloaded, The Matrix Revolutions in 2003, and The Matrix Resurrections in 2021.

Smith, meanwhile, pivoted to the 1999 Western-themed sci-fi film Wild Wild West. Despite its star-studded cast and hefty budget, the movie underperformed at the box office and was panned by critics.

Will Smith has yet to clarify the intent behind his enigmatic post, leaving fans debating what’s next for the Oscar-winning actor.

Ice Spice Offers Interesting Excuse For Disastrous New Year’s Eve Show

Rapper Ice Spice faced backlash at Australia’s Wildlands Festival on New Year’s Eve after showing up nearly 30 minutes behind schedule and delivering a truncated set, leaving fans frustrated and underwhelmed.

The Bronx native hit the stage in Brisbane at 10:55 p.m., missing most of her allotted 10:30–11:00 p.m. slot.

With time running out due to the festival’s tight curfews, she managed to perform just two tracks, “Deli” and “Princess Diana,” before her microphone was reportedly cut mid-performance of “In Ha Mood” at 11:01 p.m., making for an abrupt and unceremonious exit.

Witnesses described the atmosphere as tense, with fans visibly disappointed by the short-lived set.

Podcaster Brenton Larney alleged that Ice Spice appeared unfazed by the debacle, noting her laughter as she stepped off the stage and seemingly dismissing a fan’s gesture of presenting her with a bouquet of flowers.

The rapper turned 25 on January 1 and later addressed the controversy during her next stop at the festival’s leg in Perth.

Acknowledging the issue, she spoke directly to her fans.

“I’m sorry guys. Surely y’all can forgive me,” she was quoted as saying. She added, “It was my birthday, and it takes a long time to look like a Barbie.”

The audience’s mood reportedly lightened as she kicked off her performance with “Barbie World,” her track with Nicki Minaj.

Organizers of Wildlands Festival eventually broke their silence, explaining the difficult decision to cut Ice Spice’s performance short.

In an Instagram statement, they cited the event’s rigid schedule as a necessity to ensure the midnight New Year’s countdown act started on time.

“We understand that Ice Spice’s delayed arrival caused some disappointment,” their statement read. “Managing a stacked festival means that we have to be extremely firm with set times.”

Foolio Murder: Fifth Suspect Arrested After Six-Month Manhunt

The fifth person suspected in connection with the murder of Foolio has been apprehended after over six months on the run.

27-year-old Davion Murphy is now in custody following his arrest in Jacksonville, bringing a six-month-long manhunt to an end, per Fox 13.

The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office reported that Murphy was apprehended at a Jacksonville apartment complex with assistance from its gang unit and the U.S. Marshals Service. He was subsequently booked into the Duval County Pre-Trial Detention Facility.

Authorities have been pursuing Davion Murphy since June 23, 2024, in connection with the fatal shooting of rapper Foolio, which they describe as a meticulously planned ambush rooted in long-standing gang rivalries.

Prosecutors claim Davion Murphy and four other suspects, Rashad Murphy, 30, Isaiah Chance, 21, Alicia Andrews, 21, and Sean Gathright, 18, stalked Foolio through Tampa before ambushing him at a Holiday Inn.

Suspected shooters, the Murphys and Gathright, allegedly gunned down Foolio using two AR-style rifles and a Glock pistol. Surveillance video captured the gunmen firing at the rapper in the hotel parking lot.

Foolio was pronounced dead at the scene, while three others sustained injuries in the barrage of gunfire.

Authorities accuse Chance and Andrews of being “lookouts,” claiming they trailed the rapper to two strip clubs where Foolio was celebrating his 26th birthday on June 22.

The first four suspects arrested face first-degree murder charges and are being held without bond. Davion Murphy is scheduled to appear in court on January 7.

T.I. Pushes To Keep $53M In Punitive Damages Originally Awarded In O.M.G. Girlz Lawsuit

Clifford “T.I.” Harris is pushing a California federal judge to reconsider his decision to axe the $53.4 million originally awarded to the Harrises in their long-standing legal battle between toy giant MGA Entertainment and O.M.G. Girlz, the pop group co-owned/founded by the Harris family.

On Monday (January 6), AllHipHop obtained a legal document which revealed the initial $71.4 million in compensatory damages awarded to the Harris family and the O.M.G Girlz in 2024 would be reduced to $17.8 million. However, the court has yet to finalize its decision regarding punitive damages, which could potentially restore a significant portion of the original award.

“There’s a lot to contemplate. I want to put this down for a couple days, and I want to come back to it fresh from the top,” the judge said.

As previously reported, Judge James V. Selna tenatively revised ruling grants the O.M.G. Girlz $17,872,252 under common law misappropriation, but it declines to award punitive damages or enhance the award under the Lanham Act. T.I. and Tiny Harris originally filed the lawsuit in 2020, alleging that MGA’s line of L.O.L. Surprise! O.M.G. Dolls unlawfully profited from the OMG Girlz’s name, likeness and unique trade dress.

According to a Law360 report, the Harris families legal team team contended MGA’s failure to investigate allegations of infringement following a cease-and-desist letter in 2020 demonstrated willfulness and fraud. John R. Keville, an attorney for the Harris family, highlighted evidence presented to the jury, including testimony that one of MGA’s doll designers was a fan of the O.M.G. Girlz and had the group featured on her Pinterest board. Keville argued this evidence supported the jury’s finding of malice, fraud, or oppression, making the $53 million punitive damages award justified.

“Jurors heard evidence of MGA’s misrepresentations about when it first became aware of the OMG Girlz, as well as its failure to investigate infringement accusations,” Keville stated a court hearing.

MGA’s counsel, Mark Finkelstein, defended the tentative ruling, arguing the court has discretion over whether to adopt or reject advisory verdicts. Finkelstein maintained that while MGA may not have adequately responded to the cease-and-desist letter, negligence does not amount to intentional deception. He also contended that attributing profits from the O.M.G. Dolls line to the OMG Girlz lacked sufficient evidence.

“The Harrises have only produced consumer testimony to demonstrate attributability, but MGA has presented substantial evidence showing not every customer purchased the dolls due to perceived resemblance to the OMG Girlz,” Finkelstein argued.

The ongoing case marks a third trial in the dispute between the Harris family, the O.M.G Girlz and MGA, following the reversal of earlier rulings. Last September, a federal jury awarded $17.8 million in compensatory damages and $53.6 million in punitive damages, determining that MGA’s infringement was willful. The OMG Girlz, founded by Tiny, gained fame for their colorful and distinctive aesthetic, which the group alleges MGA mimicked in its doll designs.

Post Malone Changes Single Mother’s Life With Huge Christmas Tip

A Houston bartender received an unexpected blessing on Christmas Eve when Grammy-nominated artist Post Malone left a $20,000 tip, a gesture she says has transformed her life.

Renee Brown, a 29-year-old single mother to a nine-year-old daughter, was serving drinks at The Railyard when the Hip-Hop/Rock star, whose real name is Austin Post, walked into the bar.

While the visit alone was memorable, it became life-altering when the musician handed her a massive tip.

“Going into work Christmas Eve, I was so sad I had to leave my baby girl to go to work,” Brown told Music Mayhem. “Oblivious that God would send me a Christmas miracle. This is hands down the most humble, personable celebrity I’ve had the pleasure of meeting. He changed my life on Christmas f**king Eve, and will forever be grateful. Thank you so much, Austin.”

Brown explained that the money would help her catch up on rent, buy a reliable way to get to work, and even start saving for a future business venture.

“This put me in a position to at least be able to get a way back and forth to work and pay up on rent and save a bit,” she shared. “I’m trying to save up to start a business, so I don’t have to continue working two jobs and be able to spend more time with my daughter.”

Though overwhelmed by the heartwarming gift, Brown says it has inspired her to push forward after years of challenges.

“Things have been extremely difficult, and this was truly a blessing that I can’t fully put into words. The visit alone was absolutely amazing and something I could talk about and remember for the rest of my life,” she said.

Just a day later, Post Malone delighted fans in another surprise appearance during Beyoncé’s halftime show at the Texans-Ravens Christmas Day game, where they performed their chart-topper “Levii’s Jeans.”

Mad Skillz Talks Grammy-Nominated Album, Hip-Hop Origins & Collaborations

Mad Skillz, often just called Skillz, is up for a 2025 Grammy. His new spoken word, The Seven Number Ones, chronicles the special moments in his life, from his parents’ meeting to his introduction to Hip-Hop. The album features collaborations with celebrated artists Raheem DeVaughn, Lalah Hathaway, and James Poyser.

In the DJ Thoro-led interview, Skillz highlights the grind of bringing Virginia Hip-Hop to the front, battling in New York to working with legends like Clark Kent and Timberland. Skillz also reveals his ghostwriting journey, which began by accident. In the video, he recalls being washed by Nas on a track. He also talks about “ghostwriting” for Jay-Z, but you have to watch the video to get the full context. (Wink, wink!)

When it is all said and done, Skillz is full of gratitude. His career has allowed him to live on his terms, in a most authentic way – with passion.

AllHipHop: Let’s talk about your new album, The Seven Number Ones. What inspired the title?

Skillz: It’s a spoken-word poetry album about seven pivotal moments in my life that changed its direction. Each song represents a “first,” like my parents meeting, the first time I heard hip-hop, the first time I fell in love, and more.

AllHipHop: That’s unique. And it’s Grammy-nominated! How does that feel?

Skillz: It feels amazing. This is my first Grammy nomination, and it’s extra special because I created it with my friends and collaborators from Virginia. If I win, we’re all winning together.

AllHipHop: The album feels more like a storybook than a typical album. Was that intentional?

Skillz: Absolutely. I wanted to create something personal and timeless. It’s about my journey, even down to how I got my name, “Mad Skillz.”

AllHipHop: Speaking of your name, how did you get it?

Skillz: Funny story. I was rapping over a Mobb Deep instrumental at an open mic, and someone in the crowd said, “He got mad skills!” I never met that person, but they gave me my name. If you’re out there, reveal yourself—I owe you!

AllHipHop: You’ve been vocal about how hip-hop changed your life. What does the culture mean to you?

Skillz: Everything. Hip-hop gave me identity, purpose, and a way to provide for my family. It’s more than music—it’s a lifestyle that shaped who I am.

AllHipHop: Breaking into hip-hop from Virginia must’ve been challenging. What was that like?

Skillz: It was tough. VA wasn’t known for Hip-Hop back then, so I had to travel to New York constantly—battles, open mics, and pitching tapes to labels. Winning the 1993 Superman World Supremacy Battle changed everything. That’s when the labels started calling.

AllHipHop: Who were some key figures that helped you early on?

Skillz: Clark Kent was instrumental. Even though I came in second at the battle, Clark saw my potential. He let me crash on his couch, helped me structure my bars, and taught me how to refine my craft.

AllHipHop: You’ve worn many hats in hip-hop: rapper, DJ, producer, and ghostwriter. How did you get into ghostwriting?

Skillz: By accident! A DJ overheard a track I was working on and wanted to use my hook. I didn’t even know what publishing splits were back then, but when the check came, I realized there was a whole business side to it. Word spread, and that’s how I became a ghostwriter.

AllHipHop: You even made a track about ghostwriting. What inspired that?

Skillz: It was a bit of fun but also a message. Ghostwriting is about discretion, and I made more money staying quiet than I ever would’ve by talking. It’s about respect and professionalism.

AllHipHop: How do you feel about the current state of Hip-Hop?

Skillz: I think we’ve lost some originality and balance. Today, it feels like many artists chase trends instead of being true to themselves. Back in the day, Hip-Hop was about individuality. We had choices and diversity in music that I feel is missing now.

AllHipHop: What’s your advice to younger artists?

Skillz: Be yourself. If you’re into anime and Jordans, make music about that. Don’t feel pressured to follow trends or portray something you’re not.

AllHipHop: Who are your favorite lyricists?

Skillz: Rakim, Black Thought, Nas, Ice Cube—those guys have incredible pen games. Cube especially, because he can transition from writing songs to scripts seamlessly.

AllHipHop: You’ve done so much in your career. What’s next?

Skillz: I’m focused on continuing to evolve. Winning this Grammy would be a huge milestone, but more than that, I want to keep creating art that resonates and inspires.

AllHipHop: Last question—if you could collaborate with any artist, dead or alive, who would it be?

Skillz: Michael Jackson, without a doubt. No one has ever matched his impact. We’ll never see another artist like him.

AllHipHop: Thanks for your time, Skillz. Any final words for the fans?

Skillz: Follow me @SkillzVA on all platforms. Check out The Seven Number Ones, and if you’re part of the Grammy voting community, give it a listen. Thank you for the love and support!

Judge Tentatively Axes $53.6M From T.I. & Tiny Harris’ Original O.M.G. Girlz Doll Settlement

T.I. and Tiny Harris may be headed to court again on behalf of their daughter after a judge revised the verdict handed down last year.

In a significant update to the long-running legal battle between MGA Entertainment and Clifford “T.I.” Harris, Tameka “Tiny” Harris and the O.M.G. Girlz LLC, a judge has amended the ruling to award the OMG Girlz $17.8 million versus the $71.4 million they were originally awarded.

View this post on Instagram

A post shared by AllHipHop (@allhiphopcom)

According to Law360, the jury determined seven of the company’s O.M.G. Dolls infringed the trade dress and misappropriated the name, likeness or identity of the OMG Girlz pop group T.I. co-owns. To be specific, the court had npw granted the Harris family and the O.M.G. Girlz $17,872,252. In a court doucment obtained by AllHipHop, the revision was reportedly based on profits and common law misappropriation.

“Upon consideration of the evidence the Court grants disgorgement of profits of $17, 872,252 under common law misappropriations, but doesn not award punitive damages. Further, the Court declines to disgorge profits or enhance the award under the Laham act,” the document read.

T.I. and Tiny Harris, who filed the lawsuit against MGA Entertainment in 2020, claimed the dollmaker unlawfully profited from designs and concepts tied to their girl group, the O.M.G. Girlz. The group, founded by Tiny Harris, had a unique and colorful aesthetic, which they alleged was directly reflected in MGA’s line of dolls.

Earlier this year after the original verdict in the case was ruled, Tiny spoke about how the lawsuit represented much more than a legal win for the group during an Instagram Livestream outside the courthouse.

“We did this for the city, we did this for the culture,” a jubilant Tiny began. “It was a hell of a fight. This fight been started in 2020 and it’s now ‘24; we couldn’t be more happy.”

She also expressed her gratitude to the jury for believing their story. “I honestly wanted to come on here to say we wanted to thank the jurors for just seeing us through this man and just believing in what we said,” she added. “They heard our story and they knew we wasn’t lying.”

Azealia Banks Drags Doechii, Accuses Her Of Taking Cocaine In Another Online Rant

Azealia Banks, notorious for her unfiltered and unsolicited opinions about fellow artists, has once again taken aim at Doechii in her latest rant.

After recently slamming her as a “DEI hire,” the controversial rapper accused the Tampa native of snorting cocaine. Banks’ remarks stemmed from Doechii ‘s new freestyle over Beyoncé’s “AMERICA HAS A PROBLEM” instrumental. In the video, Doechii briefly rubs her nose before rapping.

“Wait, What was said about meds frying my brain?” she wrote. “Lmao who the f### still snorts coke post 2017?? Booooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo.”

Doechii Blasts Azealia Banks: “One Post Away From The Psych Ward”

Azealia Banks made the “meds” remark in reference to a previous spat in which she called Doechii’s fans “wannabes.”

In a series of Instagram posts last April, Doechii accused Banks of colorism and claimed she shades Black artists to stay relevant.

“I use my platform to make money and inspire people,” Doechii wrote. “Everyone around me is inspired by me. I’m positive influence. Your brain is fried from meds, you’re damn near immobile from the shots. Don’t hurt yourself. You gossip about BLACK artists to stay relevant and it’s sad. You definitely are an issue just not the icons… you’re one post away from the psych ward. STOP IT!”

Meanwhile, over the weekend, Banks went in on Doechii after a fan suggested the “DENIAL IS A RIVER” hitmaker “is one of the hardest rappers” in the game right now.

“Absolutely not lol,” Banks began. “She got def jam poetry newyorican cafe music/TDE writing camp s###.”

She went on to say Doechii gives “DEI hire.” Banks claimed Doechii is “boring” but said fans have “convinced themselves she’s good because she’s dark skinned,” and anyone suggesting otherwise is accused of colorism.

“But she looks horrible in them outfits,” she stated. “The hyperpigmentation around her c**chie and butt is SO CRUNCHY but she loooove showing it lmao.”

Azealia Banks continued, claiming Asian Doll and Flo Milli are better rappers than Doechii but don’t get the credit they deserve.

She added, “Plenty of fabulous dark skinned girls getting over looked for not being ugly enough to give sympathy support.”

Jemele Hill Snaps On Antonio Brown Over Crude Remarks Amid Fox Sports Lawsuit Controversy

Jemele Hill fired back at Antonio Brown after he shaded the sports journalist amid the recent sexual harassment lawsuit against Skip Bayless, Joy Taylor and others at Fox Sports.

On Monday (January 6), the outspoken former NBA star weighed in on the topic with multiple posts about the suit, with one in particular sparking controversy. In the controversial tweet, Brown makes a vulgar insinuation about Hill’s appearance, referencing the sexual harassment lawsuit suit allegations that Taylor slept with her Fox Sports superiors in exchange for promotions.

“Nobody wanted to f### Jamele huh?” he wrote.

Before firing back at Antonio Brown, Jemele Hill responded to a troll claiming he agreed with the former athlete after seeing her in person.

“And yo lame ass went running to the Internet,” she replied. “Because you weren’t crazy enough to say that s### to my face.

Hill then addressed Brown with a classy comeback.

“Well I wouldn’t know anything about being community,” she stated. “But you do. Please share with the class what it’s like to be passed around, since you have so much experience.”

Others soon came to Hill’s defense, slamming Brown for his crude remarks, including Terrell Owens.

“Bro you outta pocket!!!” the Hall of Famer wrote before correcting Brown’s spelling. “And it’s Jemele btw.”

Author and activist Marc Lamont Hill also chimed in. “Why would you come for our sister, bro?” he asked. “That s### is corny.”

However, Brown doubled down with several more tweets. He insisted, “It’s called comedy & entertainment,” while advising critics to “lighten up.”

Antonio Brown’s remarks to Jemele Hill follow a lawsuit filed by former Fox Sports hairstylist Noushin Faraji alleging sexual harassment and a toxic workplace environment.

Tupac Shakur Murder Suspect Keefe D Wants Charges Dismissed Over Long Delay

Duane “Keefe D” Davis’ legal team is attempting to have all charges related to the fatal shooting of Tupac Shakur thrown out.

On Monday (January 6), Carl E.G. Arnold filed a motion to dismiss, arguing that the nearly 30-year delay in prosecution violated Keefe D’s constitutional rights, per ABC News. Arnold claims the “unjustified” hold-up has led to the “dimming of memories, the death or disappearance of witnesses, and the loss or destruction of material physical evidence.”

He argues authorities are relying on the “same set of facts” that the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department possessed “as far back as 2009.”

Arnold alleges Keefe D’s case has been “irreversibly” compromised, and his rights violated.

Additionally, the motion notes prosecutors lack corroborating evidence other than Keefe D’s own statements. Arnold argues, “Too many witnesses have died” or are incarcerated.

Furthermore, Arnold highlights an alleged “proffer agreement,” between Davis and a joint federal-Los Angeles task force in 2008, promising immunity for information regarding the shooting of Tupac Shakur.

“The State of Nevada was in possession in 2009 of the facts that led to [Davis’] arrest in 2023,” Arnold stated. “Specifically, his alleged statement that he was in the white Cadillac and handed the gun to the back seat passengers, which was utilized to shoot Tupac Shakur.”

The attorney said prosecutors “must now honor the initial proffer agreement of 2008 and the LVMPD’s promise not to prosecute Mr. Davis.”

Authorities arrested Keefe D in September 2023 for his suspected involvement in Tupac Shakur’s 1996 murder. The ex-gang leader had previously incriminated himself through statements made in interviews and his memoir. He remains detained, with his trial set to begin on March 17.

The court will discuss Keefe D’s motion to dismiss at a hearing on January 21.

Shaq & Dwight Howard’s Feud Escalates With Heated Online Exchange

Shaq and Dwight Howard are clashing online after the latter called out the former over decades of shade during a recent interview, leading to fighting talk.

The Inside the NBA host fired back on X (Twitter) after Howard challenged him to “throw hands,” over perceived disrespect.

“@DwightHoward the fact u think I care about u is funny,” Shaq began. “But I won’t ever bring your name up again sensitive big man, a jokester that can’t take a joke. Won’t ever say your name again ever again. Have a great day and now u have been deleted. Have a great day.”

He followed up with a series of hashtags to drive his point home, ensuring there was no room for misinterpretation. “#inevercared #trustme #dontneedvalidationyoudo #stayoffpodcasts #thefactyouthinkicareisfunny #yougottashowrespecttogetrespect #nowyouredeadtome.”

Dwight Howard fired back with a scathing reply, branding Shaq “insecure” and claiming he’s “jealous” of other NBA legends.

“I know you care,” he replied. “Cuz yo insecure ass been hating and talking s### for 20 years. You [too] big to be this insecure.  I hope you don’t bring my name up again.  52 years old tweeting me.  And still hating. Now all this time you was joking.  You always been jealous.  Jealous of Kobe, penny, dwayde.  You jealous of Charles too.”

Howard continued, “Go move around big lazy insecure ass.  I still have that long 5 Paragraph direct message you sent me a couple years ago telling me that I’m not that great to hate. And you still doing it. It’s 2025 grow the hell up. and move on.”

Dwight Howard Expresses His Frustrations With Shaq

During a recent appearance on Ray Daniels’ “The Gaud Show” podcast, Dwight Howard claimed he had previously tried to contact Shaq to squash their long-running dispute, but to no avail.

“Every time I hear about you, you’re disrespecting me in some way,” he said. “At this point, I’m like, do we need to throw hands? What are we doing?”

Nicki Minaj Avoids Arrest Following Ex-Manager’s Assault Allegations

Nicki Minaj has reportedly escaped arrest after prosecutors in Wayne County, Michigan, declined the Detroit Police Department’s request for an arrest warrant related to accusations she assaulted her alleged former manager, Brandon Garrett, last April.

The NYC rapper was accused of assault, battery, and intentional infliction of emotional distress in a civil lawsuit filed by Garrett last week.

Garrett claims he managed Minaj during her Pink Friday 2 World Tour last year. In his filing, the ex-manager alleges Minaj sent him on an errand following her Detroit concert, but became enraged he had someone else collect her prescriptions.

“Are you f###### crazy having him pick up my prescription?” she allegedly screamed at him. “You have lost your f###### mind and if my husband were here, he would knock out your f###### teeth. You’re a dead man walking. You just f##### up your whole life and you will never be anyone, I’ll make sure of it.”

Garrett claims Minaj then struck him on the side of his head and told him to “get the f### out.” He then locked lock himself inside a restroom “for hours” at Little Caesars Arena out of fear.

After reviewing the warrant, the Wayne County Prosecutor’s Office determined there was “insufficient evidence” that a crime had been committed, per TMZ and declined to arrest Nicki Minaj.

Nonetheless, Nicki Minaj is not off the hook yet. According to the outlet, prosecutors requested that Detroit Police investigate the matter further.

Nicki Minaj Responds To Assault Lawsuit

Minaj denied the allegations via a statement from her attorney Judd Burstein who claimed they’ve never seen the lawsuit.

“At this time, no complaint has been served upon [Nicki Minaj] and therefore, we are unaware of the specific allegations,” Burstein said. “However, if the lawsuit is as reported by TMZ, it is completely false and frivolous. We are confident that the matter brought by this ex assistant will be resolved swiftly in [Nicki Minaj’s] favor.”

SIGNS: Is NYC Going To Hell Because Of New, Controversial Congestion Pricing?

Here we go.

New York City just got a little more chaotic. The sprawling metropolis has been slumping quite a bit and I’m not talking about music. A Bronx subway station turned into the scene of yet another violent incident early Sunday morning (January 5), just as the controversial congestion pricing plan went live. Are you familiar with it? If not, be aware. It could come to places like Atlanta and Los Angeles, too.

Let me tell you about the new policy that impacts the whole East Coast in a few. Bare with me. For New Yorkers and New Jersey people, the new policy is pushing more commuters toward the increasingly dangerous subway system.

Let us have a word about “congestion pricing,” because it does have a significant role overall.

A 38-year-old man was stabbed in the arm uptown about 4 a.m. on Sunday (January 5). That sounds like a very dangerous time. The attacker managed to get away. He’s on the run like Kool G Rap. The victim is in stable condition, but this has people worried even more.

There have been five similar attacks in just a few days, causing people to feel that congestion pricing is forcing people back on the trains. The thought is, the cops are not able to handle the demand for safety. Keeping it real, New York has been on this slippery slope since we all came out of the COVID-19 pandemic. But, what about tourism?

Congestion Pricing

New York is already DUMB expensive for people coming from out of town. Congestion pricing will make it more expensive. The policy is a plan to reduce traffic and emissions by charging drivers a toll for entering Manhattan below 60th Street during peak hours.

RIGHT.

They hope to push more people onto public transportation—FURTHER TAXING THE PEOPLE. But here’s the catch: NYC’s subway system is already delayed, overcrowded and clearly crime is an issue. Again, nothing totally new.

But tourists are the lifeblood of New York’s economy. They use the subways to feel like New Yorkers. Some probably see it as a safari, a public a way to explore the big city. The risks seem to be rising and the sheer chaos of the subway system will become a pressing issue. Now, that 38-year old wasn’t named Becky or Logan. When that happens, I think this will turn into an emergency.

Check this out.

Things are so crazy, The Guardian Angels are back. You have to be a real OG to remember them. They are a legendary vigilante group that started patrolling subway platforms in the late ‘70s. It corresponds with Dirty Harry and “Death Wish” Charles Bronson. I digress. They’re back at it. I’m not a fan because I think their leader, Curtis Sliwa, is a possible racist and a scammer. I will say this, most of the early Guardian Angels were Black or Hispanic/Latin.

How does this all play into congestion pricing? I’m not sure. I think it sucks. I hope they turn it off as less people GAF about New York City. In the meantime, if you’re heading to NYC, keep your eyes peeled and your head on a swivel!

Stay safe!

Kodak Black Sparks Fan Concern Again: “I Know A Victim Of Fentanyl When I See One”

Kodak Black is attempting to articulate his artistry and intent within his music.

In a recent livestream that left fans buzzing, Kodak shared a candid explanation of the unique “substance” he pours into his music. The controversial rapper opened up about his approach to crafting lyrics, offering insight into the world behind his chart-topping and polarizing hits such as “Super Gremlin” and more.

“When I’m in the studio, it’s all about energy,” Kodak said. “I don’t just rap, I let everything that’s going on around me get inside my music.”

Kodak Black emphasized that his music isn’t just a career, it’s a reflection of his life experiences and raw emotions.

“I put my soul in it,” he explained. “I don’t just make songs for the radio. I make songs for the people who need to hear it.”

He then detailed his mantra that music isn’t just about making hits it’s about connecting with his audience on a deep level. In the same breath, he also seemingly admitted to his vices and rumored addictions fueling the mindfulness within his creative process and how he presents the final product.

“Life ain’t always pretty,” he said. “But that’s what I talk about. I’m real about what I go through. I don’t glorify it, but I can’t fake it. People need to know the truth.”

Several users reacted to the clip, suggested that drugs may have not only influenced his past lyrics, but also his current narrative about his pen game.

“I know a victim of fentanyl when I see one,” a Twitter user added before concluding, “Hate to see my son like this,” while another said, “Whoever sold him that fake perc I hope they burn in hell.”

“I can tell whatever this n#### going thru, he alone,” another user wrote in a short remark.

Another user compared Kodak to one of Hip-Hop’s most legendary and troubled rappers, who also tragically passed away at an early age.

“Kodak this generation’s DMX,” the user wrote.

Other fans appeared to simply lose all hope at the sight of the viral video.

“Been defending bruh but nahh dog bro really a crackhead,” the user wrote in a sentence emphatically stamped with a face-palm emoji “Smh obviously around the wrong crowd.”

No matter how troubling the video may be to some fans, it doesn’t change the fact that this type of thing has pretty much become par for the course when it comes to Kodak’s social media footprint in recent months. Last June, Kodak spoke about Percocet addiction and his regrets over the infamous “Super Gremlin” lyric at a show in Los Angeles.

“When I was at my stage, chewing on them Percs, I ain’t gonna say I popped them b######,” he told the crowd. “But when I was at my stage, I was chewing like – bruh, I swear to God and my n#### will vouch – I was chewing 100 Percs a day, man. Average like 40. Average! If I was f###### with them fake s####, bruh, I’d have been dead. Bruh, I say that, I’m explaining myself now. I don’t want y’all to hear that and take that and feel like it’s okay to do that s###, ya feel me?”

He continued, “It’s sad though, bruh, because it’s like that s###—the bar came to mind so quick,” he said. “I’m like, ‘Damn, I don’t wanna say this s###, but I know this b#### gon’ go in.’ But we ain’t gon’ play like that, bruh.”

Dwight Howard Accuses Shaq Of Blocking His Opportunities—Challenges Him To Fight

Dwight Howard didn’t hold anything back while airing out his grievances with Shaq in his recent interview.

In a fiery new interview with Ray Daniels’ for his podcast The Gaud Show, Dwight Howard unleashed a barrage of accusations against Shaquille O’Neal, claiming that the basketball legend has been actively blocking his opportunities.

But that wasn’t all, the former NBA star also dared Shaq to a physical confrontation to finally settle their long-standing tension. Howard opened up about his frustration with Shaq, revealing that the two have clashed more than once.

“He always thought I was trying to be him or be like him,” Howard said, venting his frustration. “But if I wanted to be you or be like you, shouldn’t you take that as a compliment? Shouldn’t you show how great you are as a player and a person?”

Despite the notion, Dwight Howard made it clear that he never aimed to copy Shaq, though he may have used him as inspiration just like he did with those who came before him as he continued.

“I never wanted to be Shaq on any level,” he said. “But I’ve taken things from his life and implemented them into mine, just like I do with Michael Jordan, Magic Johnson and LeBron James.”

However as Shaq continued to make disparaging comments about Howard, his level of resentment toward him only grew. Especially considering he’s claimed he has tried to smooth things over on his own accord.

“I’ve tried to reach out,” he shared. “I literally tried during ‘Dancing with the Stars’. I had someone send Shaq a message, asking if we could sit down and have a conversation.”

Despite his efforts, Howard felt Shaq wasn’t interested in resolving their issues and instead instigates drama. “Every time I hear about you, you’re disrespecting me in some way,” he said.

That disrespect reached a boiling point for Dwight, who candidly admitted, “At this point, I’m like, do we need to throw hands? What are we doing?”

He added, “If we gotta fight it out, let’s do what men do. I feel like Shaq is one of the real male leaders out here, so if you’re that real leader, let’s sit down and have a conversation.”

Howard also suggested their personal issues could have had serious ramifications for his career. “Behind closed doors, he [Shaq] made sure I’m not on it,” Dwight alleged, implying that Shaq had been actively working against him behind the scenes. “You think there aren’t gatekeepers? I know there are.” Dwight’s frustration grew as he detailed his struggles to land roles or opportunities, pointing fingers directly at Shaq as a potential roadblock.

While playing overseas in Taiwan three years ago, Howard had words for Shaq in response to several critical remarks the Diesel made on his podcast about the league he was playing in.

“Stop hating basketball in Taiwan,” Howard said. “And I’m playing at the Lifetime Fitness League. Do not disrespect my teammates and this league and these people in Taiwan like that.”

He continued, “That is highly disrespectful and that is hating and you’re too old to be hating. You’re too big to be hating. You’re supposed to be Superman, the original Superman, Shaquille O’Neal. The original Superman is hating? The OG Superman is hating?”

DaBaby’s Defensive Interrogation Over 2021 Miami Shooting Leaks As Crying Rumors Trend

A lengthy video containing footage of DaBaby being questioned by the police following a shooting incident in Miami has become a lightening rod topic on social media.

On Monday (January 6), popular legal news platform Law&Crime Network released an hour-plus long video covering the interrogation DaBaby participated in after being detained as apart of the investigation of the shooting at hotspot restaurant Prime 112 on Memorial Day in 2021, which left one of the victims paralyzed and resulted in multiple arrests.

Though the shooting occurred several years after the fatal altercation DaBaby was involved in at a Walmart in 2018, Law&Crime Network appeared to suggest the interrogation closely followed and even claims the North Carolina rapper cries during the interview. However, a deep dive into the video shows DaBaby was far more combative with Police than he was emotional, during the interrogation.

“This isn’t even the Walmart interrogation,” a user wrote in the comments section of the YouTube video before adding, “This is the incident in Miami. Get your channel together dude.”

“Him crying “what more do you want from meee” is the funniest thing I’ve seen today,” another user remarked. “Such a narcissist, he’s the victim…ok. Violent self-obsessed loser. How tf is he not in jail?!”

Another user chimed in, “So not only does DaBaby not cry, this video has nothing to do with the Walmart shooting. Some kind of miscommunication between Law&Crime and Stranger Stories maybe? IDK, you would think they would verify what the content is about before posting it.”

According to reports, Authorities were called to the scene of the shooting after it occurred around 11:30 PM. Wisdom Awute and Christopher Urena both were charged with attempted first-degree murder with a deadly weapon and aggravated assault over the incident. Urena also faced a charge of grand theft and possessing a firearm as a convicted felon and reportedly chased after the shooting victim in a stolen vehicle.
