Adidas Granted Secret Court Order Freezing $75M Of Kanye West’s Yeezy Funds

Adidas was quietly granted a legal action last year that froze $75 million in bank accounts held by Kanye West’s Yeezy brand.  

According to unsealed court documents shared by Law360, Adidas filed the case on Nov. 11 in the wake of Ye’s antisemitism scandal and weeks after the sportswear giant publicly announced they severed ties with the rapper. Kanye West was denied the opportunity to respond to the filing as the order was made on an ex-parte basis. 

Whilst the case was withheld from the public, Ye confirmed the news in an interview last year.  

“The reason why I’m announcing that I’m running for president is I want the FCC to look at my money,” Kaye West stated on Nov. 22. “If they actually see, I was looking at my money, and there might have been a possibility that Adidas wouldn’t have went into JP Morgan and froze my account and put a $75 million hold on four different accounts.”  

Ye continued, “I went from being a multi-billionaire to not even being able to use my Apple Pay four nights ago. I couldn’t use my Apple Pay because somehow Adidas was able to legally go in and freeze my money, and when I see this, I think, well, if this could happen to me, this could happen to other Americans, and for what? You know this can happen to an American that didn’t even steal anything, that didn’t even hurt anyone. This could just happen to you for saying the wrong idea out loud.”  

Adidas took legal action to prevent Kanye West from moving funds while they attempted to come to an agreement in private arbitration.  

“Petitioner has demonstrated that it has satisfied the grounds for an ex parte attachment because the court is satisfied that there is risk that Yeezy will remove or dissipate assets if notice of this request for attachment is given to Yeezy,” Judge Valerie E. Caproni writes in the November 11th order. 

Judge Caproni unsealed the documents earlier this month stating the records no longer need to be sealed as Kanye West publicly discussed the ruling. Ye is currently fighting to have the ruling overturned.

Raz B Placed On 72-Hour Hold After Threatening To Jump Off Hotel Roof

Fans of B2K are worried about group member Raz B after he smashed a hotel window and climbed onto a roof, prompting a response from first responders fearing he was going to jump.

The incident occurred on Thursday (May 25) in Kansas City, following an unsettling video Raz B posted on Instagram the previous night, in which he expressed feelings of insecurity and fear for his life.

Raz B had claimed to be at a Hilton hotel in Kansas City on Wednesday night (May 24). In a post that left his followers worried, the singer noted that he was “fighting to stay alive” and expressed reluctance to undergo surgery in the city.

He also posted an address of a Kansas City hospital, hinting at possible health issues.

Concerns about Raz B’s well-being escalated when a video surfaced showing the singer on the roof of the hospital. The video, obtained by TMZ, shows shocked onlookers watching the scene unfold from across the way.

Law enforcement arrived at the scene at Saint Luke’s Hospital around 10:20 AM on Thursday, responding to calls from off-duty officers and hospital security. They found that a window had been broken, apparently to facilitate Raz B’s climb to the roof.

Given the precarious situation, there were fears that Raz B might jump off the ledge. In response, the fire department placed mats below, preparing for the worst-case scenario.

A police negotiator successfully persuaded Raz B to come back inside through the window, where he was immediately treated by medical staff. The unsettling incident has left fans deeply concerned about Raz B’s condition, with many expressing their worries on social media.

Raz B has been placed on a 72-hour hold by Kansas City police, according to his brother Ricky Romance.

At present, the singer’s condition remains unclear. Representatives for Raz B have been contacted for comment but have not yet provided any update.

During a recent interview, Lilah Gibney, a transgender woman, shared her ALLEGED experience involving Gates. Lilah stated that she engages in direct messages with famous rappers for the sole aim of getting money from the. According to her account, she went on a dinner date with the Louisiana rapper and even ordered caviar for the first time. This human being says Gates took her back to his home and introduced her to his wife, Dreka Gates. That’s interesting. That would mean his wife would be able to corroborate or deny this. Anyway, she says they retreated to his room for “doing the do” and revealed her transgender status with him. She said that the rapper noticed her “differences,” but that did not stop them from doing it. He blocked her afterwards. Westside Gunn Donates $10,000 To ‘WWCD’ Cover Star Claire’s Funeral

Westside Gunn helped pay the funeral expenses for Clara Gomez a.k.a. Claire, who appeared on Griselda’s WWCD album cover.

Gomez’s nephew set up a GoFundMe to raise money for her funeral. Westside Gunn donated $10,000 to the fundraiser.

“BURY MY BABY IN STYLE,” he wrote on Twitter. “#RIPCLAIRE the LEGEND.”

Gomez’s family wanted $12,000 for her funeral. Westside Gunn’s donation helped them raise $13,896 as of Thursday night (May 25).

“I want to thank everyone for their condolences and for aiding my Aunt over the years,” Gomez’s nephew wrote. “I know she was a thorn in everyone’s side at times but the love for her from everyone really means a lot to our family.”

Gomez was a well-known panhandler in Westside Gunn’s hometown of Buffalo. She was killed in a car crash on Tuesday (May 23).

Westside Gunn mourned the death of Gomez on Wednesday (May 24). He called her his favorite “Buffalo Kid.”

Gomez was struck by a vehicle at the Buffalo Metro Rail station. Police said the vehicle was involved in a car chase.

A 22-year-old man named Marlon D. Servance Jr. allegedly caused the crash when he chased and shot at the vehicle. He was charged with one count of second-degree criminal possession of a weapon and one count of first-degree reckless endangerment.

Lil Nas X Trolls Target After It Removes Some Pride Merch Due To Right-Wing Backlash

The audacious artist joked he would never shop at Target again. Lil Nas X poked fun at the company after it removed some LGBTQIA+ merchandise from its Pride collection due to right-wing attacks.

Target announced changes to its Pride Month collection on Wednesday (May 24). The company said it removed certain merch to protect its employees, who faced threats at stores.

“Since introducing this year’s collection, we’ve experienced threats impacting our team members’ sense of safety and well-being while at work,” Target said in a press release. “Given these volatile circumstances, we are making adjustments to our plans, including removing items that have been at the center of the most significant confrontational behavior. Our focus now is on moving forward with our continuing commitment to the LGBTQIA+ community and standing with them as we celebrate Pride Month and throughout the year.”

Ghostface Killah’s son Infinite Coles pleaded for his father’s attention on Wednesday (May 24).

Coles called out his dad in an Instagram post. Ghostface Killah’s son detailed his heartbreak, accusing the Wu-Tang Clan member of neglect.

“A man who doesn’t take care of his family will NEVER be blessed,” Coles wrote. “@realghostfacekillah ghosted us for too long !!!”

Coles claimed he never liked to discuss his personal life online, but he felt like it was the only way to reach his father. Ghostface Killah’s son said he was feeling lost and hopeless.

“@ghostfacekillah I didn’t really want to do this; but at this point, I’m tired of keeping quiet to save your reputation,” Coles wrote. “I’m tired of the PAIN. My heart has been aching and longing to be loved by you, MY FATHER, for way too long. So since you are unreachable, perhaps this will get your attention:”

He continued “I haven’t had a full conversation with you or seen you in over 15 years! You haven’t once tried to reach out to me to see how I’m feeling or how I’m doing. I have messages that literally show me reaching out to you and receiving no response for over a DECADE!”

Ghostface Killah hasn’t publicly responded to his son’s message.

Takeoff Murder Case: Rapper’s Alleged Killer Indicted By Grand Jury

A grand jury indicted Patrick Xavier Clark, the man accused of killing Takeoff, for murder on Thursday (May 25).

Takeoff was shot and killed at a Houston bowling alley in November 2022. Authorities arrested Clark and charged him with murder in December 2022.

Clark spent roughly a month in jail before he was released on a $1 million bond in January. He was placed on house arrest and ordered to wear a GPS monitoring device.

Police said Takeoff was an innocent bystander when gunfire erupted at a private party in Houston. Multiple people fired shots after his uncle Quavo got involved in an argument over a dice game.

Clark allegedly shot Takeoff during the confrontation. Two other people were injured but survived the shooting.

Fellow Migos member Offset struggled to cope with Takeoff’s death. Offset revealed his emotional distress in a recently published interview with Variety.

“It’s hard for me to talk about s### right now,” Offset said. “I’ve never talked about this stuff. Seriously. Talking about Take is hard, man. Talking about all this s### is hard. That’s why I don’t, to be honest. That s### hurts. Like, it’s gonna put me in a mood, and I don’t want to get in that mood. Some things I don’t never tell nobody. He’s not here. That s### feels fake, bro. I get through my day thinking it’s fake. And I don’t say nothing to nobody about it.”

Clark is scheduled to be arraigned on August 23. He maintains his innocence in the Takeoff murder case.

California Rapper Lul G Sentenced To 21 Years In Prison For Fatal Shooting

A California rapper is about to spend the next two decades in prison for a deadly shooting that happened in 2019 when he was 20 years old.

The artist had a promising future signing with Def Jam and even performed on the “Black Panther” film soundtrack in 2018, a project curated by Pulitzer Prize-winning rapper Kendrick Lamar.

According to The Reporter, Vallejo rapper Lul G, whose real name is George Harris, pleaded no contest to shooting Rashied Flowers, 26, to death on Mar. 2.

On May 24, he received his sentence while standing before a judge in Department 9 in the Justice Center in Fairfield.

Solano County Superior Court Judge Carlos R. Gutierrez sentenced the rapper to 21 years in prison after receiving a pre-sentencing report.

Originally Lul G faced a first-degree murder charge, with the personal use of a firearm during the shooting enhancement. But he took a plea deal in an effort to swerve a 25 to life sentence, plus additional time for the felonious firearm charge.

The sentence was already predetermined during the plea deal and he received the appropriate amount of time for a voluntary manslaughter conviction.

Currently, the chart-topper is in custody at the  Stanton Correctional Facility in Fairfield but will be transferred soon to the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation. No word on if this is where he will spend the rest of his time in custody.

Kim K Launches New Season Of Reality Show Blasting Kanye West For Spreading Lies On Her Mother

Kim Kardashian is gearing up to premiere her new episode of her family’s#### HULU reality show, “The Kardashians.” Like seasons before, she is launching the first episode with a storyline centering on Kanye West.

Page Six reported, on the new season’s first episode, she spazzed out about Yeezy for spreading false information about her momager Kris Jenner and the infamous sex tape she made with R&B singer, Ray J.

She is tired of having to “stay silent.”

In a conversation with her mother, the billionaire explained, “There’s been a lot going on with Kanye right now and things are going on in the media, radio shows, and interviews.”

“Even through all of the craziness of everything Kanye says about us like I never comment,” she said. “I never post, like he has made up the most insane narrative about you and the [sex] tape.

“We stay silent,” she continued. “We stay silent through all the lies, all the stuff.”

As AllHipHop.com has reported, Ye has been on a rampage against the Skims owner and her family since the two have broken up.

He has said the family has worked to keep him from his children and that Jenner in particular has pimped out her daughters.

In 2022, he shared apparent text messages between him and Kim, including one said to be from Kris, asking him to quit.  

“Don’t let Kris make you do playboys like she made Kyle [sic] and Kim do,” Kanye penned. “Hollywood is a giant brothel pornography destroyed my family. I deal with the addiction Instagram promises it.” 

He added, “Not gonna let it happen to Northy and Chicago.” 

Kanye West also shared a message said to be from Kris Jenner. “Tell him to please stop mentioning my name. I’m almost 67 years old and I don’t always feel great and this stresses me to no end,” it read.

On Season 3, Episode 1 of the reality show, Kardashian continued to say as she sobbed, “All of his shenanigans, I don’t know what the f–k to call them, is gonna be far more damaging to the kids one day than my tape will ever be and I have to sit here and not say anything ever because I know one day my kids will appreciate that.”

The two share four children: North, 9, Saint, 7, Chicago, 5, and Psalm, 4.

Then she brought up the Drake rumors that her husband started to spread,

“I can’t wrap my head around how he thinks he is a protector,” she questioned, before saying Ye, who is allegedly remarried to Bianca Censori, has been pushing the Champagne Papi narrative the “whole marriage.”

“I am f–king exhausted,” she continued. “I just want to lose it once. I want to have a bad day, and I can’t. I can’t even be overwhelmed and have a bad day because no one else has their s–t together.

“I don’t want to be part of this narrative,” she said right before she finally resolved, “I’m stuck with this for the rest of my life.”

The show is not filmed in real-time. These comments were made during the time, West was spiraling out of control, losing billions of dollars after making outlandish remarks about George Floyd and Jewish people.

Willow Smith Receives RIAA’s First-Ever NFT Plaque

Willow Smith, professionally known by the mononymous name Willow, scored a hit record as a preteen with “Whip My Hair” in 2010. Thirteen years later, the 22-year-old singer makes RIAA history.

The Recording Industry Association of America announced Willow as the first recipient of an NFT accolade from the trade organization. The plaque features artwork commissioned by the LA-raised performer, Roc Nation, and Infinite Objects.

“I am beyond grateful to have the opportunity to engage in the sacred process that is music. BIG LOVE to RIAA and Infinite Objects! I am so honored to be able to celebrate these milestones in such an innovative way,” says Willow.

The Recording Industry Association of America’s NFT plaque recognizes Willow’s “Whip My Hair” (3x-Platinum), “Wait A Minute!” (2x-Platinum), “Meet Me At Our Spot” (2x-Platinum), and “Transparent Soul” featuring Travis Barker (Platinum).

The authenticated Infinite Objects Video Print display will also automatically change the song’s artwork when the RIAA updates Willow’s certifications. Plus, Roc Nation presented the NFT on the OpenSea marketplace.

DaBaby Takes Inspiration From ‘New Jack City’ For “Sellin Crack” Video With Offset

Jonathan “DaBaby” Kirk returned this week with new visuals. The music video for “Sellin Crack” featuring Offset arrived on May 23.

At the moment, “Sellin Crack” is trending at No. 10 in YouTube’s music section. The DaBaby and Reel Goats-directed clip already amassed more than 900,000 views on YouTube since its premiere.

New Jack City served as inspiration for the “Sellin Crack” music video. DaBaby and Offset play versions of Wesley Snipes’s drug lord character, Nino Brown, from the classic 1991 crime drama.

D’Aydrian Harding, Kane Kongg, and Samaria Stewart appear as special guests in “Sellin Crack.” The Charlie Heat-produced single lives on the three-track Call Da Fireman bundle which dropped on May 5.

Call Da Fireman also hosts the “Ghetto Girls>>>>” and “Shake Sumn” records. “Shake Sumn” peaked at No. 74 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart and No. 14 on the Billboard Hot Rap Songs chart.

Previously, DaBaby made it to the No. 1 position on the Billboard Hot 100 with 2020’s “Rockstar” featuring Roddy Ricch. The North Carolina native scored a solo Top 10 hit with “Suge” in 2019.

DaBaby also led the Billboard 200 chart on two occasions. 2019’s Kirk topped the weekly album rankings for one week. 2020’s Blame It on Baby commanded the Billboard 200 for a single week as well.

Texas-bred recording artist Travis Scott has become one of the most successful Hip Hop acts of the last decade. The rapper/producer topped the Billboard Hot 100 chart four times and built a reported net worth north of $60 million.

Pin-Up, the architecture and design magazine based in New York, caught up with Travis Scott for a rare public interaction. The article featured Scott laying out his design principles from A to Z. The letter “I” focused on impact.

“Making an impact is fun. But sometimes people also flip the question on you in weird ways. There are people who don’t understand why you’re influential, and it can become an issue,” stated Travis Scott.

Travis Scott Has Two Kids With One Of The World’s Most Famous Social Media Influencers

While he has over 16 million subscribers on YouTube and over 49 million followers on Instagram, Travis Scott is not the most active social media user. However, he is likely fully aware of the power of the internet, thanks, in part, to his long-term romantic relationship with über-influencer Kylie Jenner.

Reality show star Kylie Jenner gave birth to their first child, Stormi Webster, in February 2018. The baby arrived six months before Scott dropped his Astroworld album. That project easily sold six times the units of 2016’s Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight in first week totals.

The 2024 U.S. presidential race is already taking center stage as Republican candidates line up to make a run for the White House. Will rapper/actor O’Shea “Ice Cube” Jackson jump into the political fight like he did in 2020?

Three years ago, Ice Cube found himself in the middle of a media firestorm after the Barbershop star aligned himself with the Donald Trump administration. He also introduced his so-called Contract With Black America.

Cube claimed that Democrats turned down the chance to speak with him about his CWBA proposal before the 2020 election. However, Cedric Richmond, the then-national Co-Chair of the Biden-Harris campaign, reportedly did have a Zoom call with the Hip Hop mogul before election day.

In addition, Ice Cube reportedly passed on the chance to have a pre-election Zoom meeting with then-Democratic Vice Presidential candidate Kamala Harris. As a result, some people accused Cube of being a pawn for the Republican Party and Donald Trump.

On May 22, a social media user, going by the Twitter handle @LilHulkQ, called out Ice Cube for supposedly harming the Black community by promoting African-American voters to abandon the Democratic Party in order to support Republicans.

“Ice Cube only shows up every four years to tell Black people to vote for Republicans who are openly suppressing the Black vote, whitewashing/banning Black History, and killing Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion programs that support Black folks. Hard pass!” read @LilHulkQ’s tweet.

Ice Cube fired back at his online critic on Wednesday. The 53-year-old AmeriKKKa’s Most Wanted album creator responded, “I never told yo’ Black ass who to vote for, so stop lying and get that ‘clickbait’ out’cha mouth.”

Chicago creative visionary Ness Heads has teamed up with TDE affiliate Kembe X on the new single “No Love In Chicago.”  

The emerging star artist who fuses a blend of Electronic, Pop, and Hip Hop over a mix of Trap and Latin beats has been making waves in her hometown and beyond.  

“This song’s a reminder that sometimes you gotta sit in pain, understand it, then pour it out before getting to the celebration. It’s been over 2 years since my last release so I’ve had a lot of time to sit in my pain and reflect. I’m excited to just now be getting to my celebration. I hope other people use this song to find theirs,” the L.A.-based artist shared in a press statement. 

“The universe has a funny way of making things come full circle,” Ness Head said, announcing the single. “I’m beyond honored to have @kembe_x on my new single, No Love In Chicago dropping May 12.” 

Ness Heads explained, “This song was the first part of my healing journey. When I wrote it, I was in a place of feeling forgotten/abandoned by a place I called home my entire life. (I don’t feel that way now, I feel the love!!) I sat on this song for awhile trying to find the right person for it, when Kembe laid his verse I was 🤯 and then to find out he’s from Chicago too was the icing on the cake.” 

She concluded, “This songs a reminder that sometimes you gotta sit in the pain, understand it, then pour it out before getting to the celebration.”

Ludacris Reveals The Billion-Dollar Reason For Continuing Fast & Furious Franchise

Ludacris wants people to stop asking why they haven’t ended the Fast & Furious franchise, stating it’s the “dumbest” question you could ask him. 

Fast X, the latest movie in the franchise debuted in the U.S. on May 19, and while it only made $67.5 million over the opening weekend, the Fast & Furious franchise is a major hit overseas. The blockbuster movie raked in a massive $319 million opening worldwide. The first ten installments  grossed over $6.6 billion. 

The three-time Grammy Award winner recently discussed the success of the films during a recent appearance on the All The Smoke podcast. 

Ludacris Says The Fast & Furious Movies Get Better Each Film

According to Ludacris, the Fast Family defies the stereotype that movie franchises become progressively worse with every sequel.  

“Arguably these have gotten better and better,” the rapper and actor declared. “To the point where it’s like people just trying to understand how the hell we keep doing this s###. I also hear people say all the time ‘Why do y’all keep doing these movies?’ That’s the dumbest f###### question in the world.”  

Ludacris continued: “I’m gonna tell you why, because no matter what industry we’re in; podcast, music, movies, it’s all about a bottom line. It’s all about how much you spend compared to how much you make. We’re making billions of f###### dollars.”  

However, Luda was quick to point out, ”I’m not trying to brag or nothing,” adding he fails to understand the questions about the franchise continuing.  

“Because if you spend 200 million and you make a billion who the f### is you gonna tell to stop shooting movies when you’re making 800 muthafuckin million dollars every time,” Ludacris added. “I need people to stop asking that question. Even if you don’t like it, even if you don’t want to watch it, it’s okay. Stop asking that g###### question that is the answer.”

Beyoncé Shares Touching Tribute To Tina Turner: “I Love You Endlessly”

Beyoncé is among those who have paid tribute to Tina Turner, who has died aged 83. 

According to her spokesperson, the Queen of Rock & Roll died at her home in Switzerland on Wednesday (May 24) following a long illness.  

“My beloved queen. I love you endlessly,” Beyoncé penned in a message shared on her website. “I’m so grateful for your inspiration, and all the ways you have paved the way. You are strength and resilience. You are the epitome of power and passion. We are all so fortunate to have witnessed your kindness and beautiful spirit that will forever remain. Thank you for all you have done.” 

In 2005, Beyoncé paid homage to the legendary singer at the Kennedy Center Honors tribute to Tina Turner. She performed “Proud Mary,” and three years later would go on to join Tina Turner for an iconic duet of the hit song at the 50th annual Grammy Awards in 2008. Watch their electrifying performance below.

When Tina Turner turned 80, Beyoncé gave her flowers for “paving the way,” in a handwritten letter.  

“I have loved you for a lifetime,” she wrote. “You have paved the way and made it possible for another country girl to go after her dreams. I’m so grateful for you. I am blessed to have two Tina’s showing me the way. With every ounce of my love and admiration.”

Kim Kardashian Accuses Kanye West Of Starting Drake Affair Rumor: “He Is The One That Is Hurting Me The Most”

Kim Kardashian broke down in tears in the season 3 premiere of The Kardashians while opening up about her divorce from Kanye West. She discussed the “anxiety” she experienced following Ye’s post-split social media outbursts. 

During the Thursday (May 25) episode, the SKIMS creators accused him of starting the rumor that she hooked up with Drake during their marriage. While talking to her mother, Kris Jenner, she reflected on Ye’s declaration to be his ex-wife’s “forever protector,” in one interview while disparaging her in other comments.

“He is the one that is hurting me the most. He was the one that started a rumor that said I was hooking up with Drake, having an affair. Our full marriage, he accused me of that publicly,” Kim stated. “So the person that’s supposed to protect me the most — publicly — would accuse me of having an affair throughout our whole marriage. I really can’t wrap my head around how he thinks he is a protector.” 

Kim also said she was “having an anxiety attack” and explained she was “on the verge of tears” all morning as Kanye was splashed across the headlines. 

“Even through all of the craziness — of everything that Kanye says about us — I never comment. I never post. He has made up the most insane narrative about you and [my sex tape] and we stay silent. We stay silent through all the lies and all the stuff,” she said.  

Elsewhere during the episode, Kim Kardashian claimed Kanye West requested “approval” over anything she said about him on the show.  

“And I’ll say, ‘Well, you just talked about me in this song, this song, this interview, this interview and you didn’t ask my permission.’ And I never say anything bad,” the reality TV mogul added. “I never say anything negative. If I say I’m exhausted, I feel guilty about that. I am f###### exhausted!” 

Meanwhile, earlier this week, Kim appeared on the On Purpose with Jay Shetty podcast. During the episode, the mother of four admitted she sometimes “cries herself to sleep” over her co-parenting struggles.
