SIGNS: Canva Bans Slavery? Creative Freedom Under Attack?

Well, what do we have here?

Canva and slavery are two words you never thought would collide, but here we are in the Twilight Zone, people. Canva, the once-scrappy, lovable sidekick to Adobe Photoshop, has somehow become the Big Bad Wolf of Creative Censorship – allegedly!

It started off innocent enough: a Black woman, just minding her business, trying to design a cover for her book. She is using Canva, like millions of us do every single day. But when she tried to print the book cover, she got stopped dead in her tracks. The crime? She used the word slavery. Yep, the actual historical term that defines a massive part of world and American history.

A post shared by Vanessa Riley (@vanessarileyauthor)

Canva reportedly flagged the word and flat-out told her to pick another one. Another one?! Like enslavement light or involuntary free trial of life? Come on now.

The woman didn’t let it slide. She reached out to Canva support, and in their own words, they confirmed that slavery is on a banned list. Straight up. NO. The actual words they apparently suggested where “imprisonment” and “captivity.” Are you serious, Canva?

Now, we expect this kind of madness from politicians who want to erase uncomfortable truths from libraries. Donald Trump’s camp has already tried to normalize book bans and whitewashing history. But a $40 billion tech company built on the backs of creators? Y’all are supposed to know better. We’re not having it!

This is the worst type of gaslighting.

People are ready to boycott if Canva doesn’t fix this fast. Without Black creators, teachers, students, and everyday users grinding and designing on Canva, that billion buck valuation would shrink faster than Donald Trump in an older woman.

Vanessa, the woman who raised the issue, might need to call Rev. Al Sharpton like Wendy Williams! This looks like it’s about to get real civil rights, real quick.

Canva, we love you. We don’t want to cancel you. But we will if we have to. Protect history. Protect creative freedom. And, most importantly, do better.

PS: We have not tested this out. That’s phase 2.

EXCLUSIVE: Big U Buried Under 20,000 Wiretaps As Prosecutors Introduce New Evidence

Eugene “Big U” Henley is facing a staggering 20,000 intercepted phone calls and covert recordings that federal prosecutors say expose him as the mastermind of a violent criminal network that gripped Los Angeles for over a decade.

The mountain of audio evidence, described by prosecutors as “surreptitious audio and video recordings,” could severely damage Big U’s defense as he awaits trial on a sweeping list of federal charges.

Prosecutors have already submitted a stipulation for a protective order to defense attorneys, signaling the sensitive and potentially explosive nature of the material.

The government alleges Big U led what they call the “Big U Enterprise” from at least 2010 until his arrest, using the Rollin’ 60s gang and other associates to carry out acts of violence, extortion and fraud.

The indictment accuses him of using threats, assaults and even murder to maintain control and profit from criminal activity.

The charges against Big U include conspiracy to violate the RICO Act, robbery, extortion, wire fraud, bank fraud, tax evasion, human trafficking and the murder of an aspiring musician in 2021.

He is also accused of misusing federal funds, including COVID-19 relief money, and embezzling donations from public and celebrity sources.

Big U, a Hip-Hop label executive turned self-proclaimed community activist, was caught on tape making threats that prosecutors say contradict his public image.

“In the shadows, [Big U] was secretly operating as kingpin of a criminal enterprise that has ruled Los Angeles through violence, fear, and intimidation,” prosecutors wrote.

In one intercepted call, Henley said, “I’m retired, n####? Activist? I’ll pull up on your block right now, n####, and show up and show out, n####. That’s what happened to the last n##### that thought I was retired.”

Before surrendering to authorities, Big U denied the charges and claimed he was being targeted for his efforts in the community.

“I ain’t been nothing but a help to our community,” he said. “This the price of being Black and trying to help somebody, trying to help your community and do what you can. You just guilty because somebody else don’t like you.”

Big U is currently being held in custody without bond.

Michael B. Jordan & Lori Harvey Rumors Are Back Like “Sinners” In IMAX

OK, here we go. I try to keep the rumors closer to reality than fiction, but this one right here is something I can’t skip.

Word on the street is that Michael B. Jordan might be reconnecting with his former boo Lori Harvey. Yep, she’s the daughter of Steve Harvey and a major influencer in her own right.

They broke up a while ago and went their separate ways. Michael B. Jordan continued leveling up—he’s now a megastar leading multiple movie franchises. And let’s just go ahead and forget Fantastic Four ever happened and skip straight to Sinners, the hit movie everyone’s locked into right now!

READ ALSO: Sinners: The Many Multiverses Of Michael B. Jordan & Jonathan Majors

Now, this might just be gossip with no real roots—but Lori Harvey’s name has popped back up right alongside Michael’s in the rumor mill. And people are whispering about a possible reconciliation between the two. I’ve got to admit… the public isn’t exactly cheering this on. A lot of folks are saying Michael B. Jordan deserves better, and that Lori is only circling back because his star is burning even brighter these days. Even some of Lori’s own followers don’t seem excited about this reunion becoming reality.

Lori Harvey is definitely among Hollywood’s elite right now, although why exactly is up for debate. No doubt she’s stunning, but she’s also incredibly calculated and savvy. Case in point: if you want to date her, you’ve got to sign an NDA just to be in her orbit. Now, I get protecting your privacy, but that level of secrecy is wild—even by celebrity standards.

Anyway, these two were giving “couple goals” for about a year and a half before they split. They both seemed heartbroken afterward, which made it even weirder. It’s been said they couldn’t agree on what their future looked like—probably meaning marriage, even though no one has outright confirmed that.

Recently, Michael B. Jordan spoke to GQ about his dating life, and he kept it vague but classy. “I’m trying to do my best,” he said. He also mentioned how timing in relationships can make all the difference—how the right person at the wrong time still leads to a loss.

So, this might just be one of those stories we’ve got to watch unfold in real time. But just for the record—Lori Harvey was the last public relationship Michael B. Jordan had.

By the way, Sinners is still going strong and being re-added in 70MM IMAX across the nation! So exciting!

Anderson .Paak’s Crush On Mariah Carey Produces New Music

Anderson .Paak confirmed he’s recording new music with Mariah Carey during an appearance on the Track Star Instagram show while fueling speculation about their relationship.

The “Silk Sonic” performer casually dropped the news while playing a music trivia game, correctly naming Carey’s 1995 hit “Always Be My Baby” before flashing a Mariah Carey T-shirt hidden under his jacket.

“This would be Mariah Carey. The Mariah Carey,” he said. “I remember in like fifth grade or something, watching the music videos and having a huge crush.”

When asked if they had ever collaborated, .Paak didn’t hesitate. “We’re working on some music on her new album,” he said.

The collaboration confirmation comes as the two artists continue to draw attention for their off-stage connection. Dating rumors first surfaced in December after they were photographed holding hands in Aspen, Colorado.

They’ve since been spotted together at the iHeartRadio Music Awards and leaving a West Hollywood restaurant in March.

Neither .Paak nor Carey has publicly addressed the nature of their relationship. Both artists have been previously married.

.Paak, 39, filed for divorce from his second wife Jaylyn Chang in January after more than 13 years of marriage.

The former couple shares two children.

Carey, 56, shares 14-year-old twins Monroe and Moroccan with ex-husband Nick Cannon and ended a long-term relationship with dancer Bryan Tanaka in 2023.

Queen Latifah Breaks Silence After “The Equalizer” Is Canceled

Queen Latifah closed out her five-season run on CBS’s The Equalizer with gratitude and promised to return to screens soon after the network pulled the plug on the crime drama.

The Hip-Hop icon and actress, who played vigilante Robyn McCall and served as an executive producer, addressed the cancellation in a heartfelt Instagram post, the same day CBS confirmed the series would end with Sunday’s finale.

“Stepping into a kick-ass role like Robyn was everything I hoped it would be,” she wrote. “Shakim (Compere) and I at (production company) Flavor Unit are always excited to bring these kinds of roles and projects to life – and then we just hope you love them as much as we do. The Equalizer blew past every dream we had for it, and having the opportunity to do this for five seasons honestly feels surreal.”

Latifah also gave a nod to the people behind the scenes and those who tuned in each week.

“Y’all have been so loyal, so loud, and so ride-or-die – and that’s exactly why we keep doing this. We can’t thank you enough. It means the world to us.”

She wrapped the message with a tease for what’s next. “Don’t worry – I’ll be back kicking a*s in something new real soon. Can’t wait to share it with you.”

The Equalizer was a modern reimagining of the 1980s series of the same name. It followed McCall, a former CIA operative, who used her skills to help those with nowhere else to turn.

The franchise also inspired a trio of films starring Denzel Washington, released in 2014, 2018 and 2023. The final episode of The Equalizer airs Sunday on CBS.

DJ Khaled Makes Power Move With Nine-Figure Catalog Deal

DJ Khaled is cashing in on his chart-topping catalog, kicking off a fresh chapter in entertainment by partnering with Influence Media Partners in a deal reportedly worth nine figures.

According to Variety, the agreement spans Khaled’s 14-album discography and includes two new joint ventures aimed at producing original content for film, television and commercial campaigns.

Influence Media will also handle the Hip-Hop mogul’s name, image and likeness rights in select categories. The outlet reports the deal is in the low nine-figure range.

“I’m proud that my legacy will continue to resonate and connect with audiences around the world with this partnership through Influence Media,” Khaled said in a statement. “These iconic recordings I’ve created will continue to be curated in the most optimum manner to impact culture with nearly two decades of music”

The Miami-based producer and DJ, known for his signature catchphrases and all-star collaborations, is also expanding into scripted and unscripted projects through his We The Best imprint. Several film ventures are already underway.

“I’m excited for the world to see and experience the film and television projects Influence and We The Best are developing and producing together,” Khaled added. “This next phase of my career will be filled with ground-breaking cultural impact, and I look forward to being at the forefront in all categories.”

Influence Media, launched in 2019, has built its brand by investing in what it calls “modern evergreens”—songs and artists with long-lasting cultural relevance.

The company has made over 30 music rights acquisitions and recently secured $360 million in debt financing to fuel its expansion.

The deal marks a major move for Khaled as he looks to cement his influence not just in music but across entertainment platforms.

Beyoncé Gets Threat From Madison Square Garden Boss Over “COWBOY CARTER” Tour

Beyoncé has been hit with a cease-and-desist letter from Sphere Entertainment Group after her “Cowboy Carter” tour visuals showed her towering over the Las Vegas skyline and lifting the Sphere venue like a toy.

The imagery, which debuted during the opening night of her tour at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California, portrays the singer as a colossal figure interacting with the high-tech concert hall.

According to attorney Kathleen McCarthy, who represents Sphere Entertainment Group, the footage was used without permission and violates the company’s intellectual property rights.

“Beyoncé – many orders of magnitude larger than the Sphere venue – leans over, picks up the venue, and looms over it,” McCarthy wrote in the cease-and-desist letter.

“SEG was never asked and the prominent appearance and manipulation of SEG’s Sphere venue in the video is unauthorized.”

McCarthy further claimed the unauthorized use has stirred “significant speculation” that Beyoncé may be planning a residency at the Sphere, a rumor that has circulated since last year when talks reportedly fell through.

The letter demands that Beyoncé’s production company, Parkwood Entertainment, “cease and desist from using the Sphere venue in the video immediately – in addition to refraining from using this imagery on any merchandise, promotional or marketing materials, or in tour movies.”

If Parkwood fails to comply, SEG’s legal team has warned it may pursue further action.

Beyoncé launched her “Cowboy Carter” tour on Monday, with dates scheduled across the U.S., London and Paris.

The tour supports her country-inspired album of the same name, which is set to wrap in July.

G Herbo Celebrates Peace Between Ari Fletcher & Taina Williams

G Herbo is opening up about the once-rocky relationship between the mothers of his children and how they’ve turned a corner toward peace and partnership.

The Chicago rapper, father to three kids with Ari Fletcher and Taina Williams, said the two women are now texting, coordinating birthday parties and sharing parenting duties with ease.

“Now they texting each other and planning birthdays,” Herbo said, describing a new dynamic that seemed unlikely just a few years ago.

During a recent appearance on BET’s “For The Fellas” podcast, Herbo credited his own approach to co-parenting for helping shift the energy.

“The way I carry the situation, I kinda forced them to carry it the same way,” he said before clarifying, “I didn’t force it on them.”

Once the women had a real conversation, he said, things naturally settled. “They were cool.”

The rapper emphasized his focus on “building a healthy blended family — all love, no games.”

He added, “It’s about seeing it through,” and clarified that he holds no grudges toward either woman.

G Herbo’s Baby Mamas Hash Things Out

Fletcher shares son Yosohn with Herbo, and Williams, mother to Essex and Emmy, have had their share of public tension.

In 2022, Fletcher accused Williams of mistreating her son — an allegation Williams firmly denied.

“Why would I harm my man’s son?” she asked during a January 2024 appearance on Fletcher’s YouTube series “Dinner With The Don.”

During that same sit-down, Williams suggested Yosohn may have exaggerated things to spend more time with his dad.

Herbo also admitted in the past that he cheated on Fletcher with Williams, adding another layer to the drama.

But in recent months, the two women have been spotted together — first in Miami in December 2024, then again in the Bahamas in April for Yosohn’s birthday celebration.

One viral moment from that trip showed Williams joking on Instagram, “She stole my babyyyy,” after Essex was seen cuddling with Fletcher on a yacht.

The collaboration is part of incoming artistic director Indhu Rubasingham’s first season and was initially pitched in her application for the top job.

Rubasingham jokingly revealed she spent “six to eight months doggedly pursuing Stormzy and his team” before he agreed to take part.

The rapper, known for his chart-topping albums and outspoken activism, said the partnership came naturally after their first meeting.

Stormzy explained he’s “always been drawn to theatre,” adding, “We properly hit it off” after seeing Indhu at the National Theatre. “I’m excited to go on this creative journey with her.”

While few details have been released, Rubasingham confirmed the production will feature Stormzy’s music and described it as “very exciting,” adding, “I’m not saying more than that.”

The project aligns with the National Theatre’s broader efforts to modernize its programming and reach new audiences.

Stormzy, who has long championed access and representation, said his love for the stage made the collaboration a meaningful one.

“It’s such a unique space where storytelling, music and performance all come together in the most powerful way,” he explained. “There’s something about experiencing theatre that’s always stayed with me.”

The rapper’s involvement also reinforces his growing cultural footprint beyond music.

His “Stormzy Effect” has already been credited with boosting Black student enrollment at Cambridge University through his scholarship program.

Fat Joe Reveals His Mother Died In Powerful Tribute

Fat Joe revealed the death of his mother in a heartfelt message posted to social media on Saturday (May 3), honoring her selflessness and the deep impact she had on his life and career.

The Bronx-born rapper shared the news in a lengthy Instagram post, writing, “This a real one, rest in peace to the woman who brought me in this world. She didnt have much but she gave us everything.” He did not disclose the cause of death.

He described his mother, Marie Delcarmen Cartagena, as a woman with “a heart of gold” who remained in the same housing projects for years, despite his financial success.

“She refused to move out the projects many years even though i had money. She loved her community she loved her people,” he wrote.

Known affectionately as “Ms. Ruby” and “the Terror Squad Queen,” she was a maternal figure to her family and the entire Hip-Hop crew.

“She was sooooooo proud of us meaning everyone in the crew. She asked about Remy, khaled, rich, Terrell everyday,” Fat Joe added.

Her generosity was well-known in the neighborhood. She worked three jobs to support her family and kept the door to their apartment open so anyone needing a meal could come in and eat.

Fat Joe has often credited his upbringing—and his mother’s example of compassion and grit—as key to his success. In his tribute, he also expressed gratitude for his time with her.

“I have to give thank’s to the father my God for letting me have her in my life this long,” he wrote.

He suggested her passing was tied to heartbreak, saying, “truth is she died of a broken heart 60 years with a man and he recently just died my dad wanted her with him.”

That man was Ernesto Delgado, Fat Joe’s father, who died on February 12, 2025, at age 89.

Delgado was remembered by his son as a guiding force who taught him the value of family and how to be a present father. Fat Joe paid tribute to him earlier this year, calling him a legend and a major influence on his life.

Fat Joe ended his message with a promise: “Mommy till i see you again you were my world, my heart my everything I’ll continue to make you proud.”

His post was met with a wave of support as condolences poured into his social media from across the Hip-Hop community and beyond.

Cardi B Snaps Over Missing Guest Verses Causing Album Delays

Cardi B vented her frustration over missing guest verses and a stalled album release during a no-holds-barred Instagram Live session.

The Bronx-born rapper didn’t hold back as she explained why her long-awaited sophomore album still isn’t out, placing the blame squarely on her collaborators.

“I really need these f###### features,” Cardi B said during the livestream. “And it’s like I’m not really trying to press or go crazy on these artists because I love them down. But it’s like come on now! I need that! I need that right now! Helloooo!”

Cardi B, who exploded onto the scene with her 2018 debut Invasion of Privacy, said she’s ready to drop the follow-up but is still waiting on featured artists to turn in their verses.

“Y’all don’t want to miss this opportunity. I’ll sing this s### myself!” she added. “But I really need y’all and I need y’all to hurry up and I love y’all. I feel like nobody want to miss being on this album.”

Though the album remains untitled and without a release date, Cardi assured her audience the music is worth the wait.

“It’s iconic! This album is so good!” she said. “I put my whole p#### on it! I rapped with the bottom of my p####! So hurry up!”

She also shared that her team had an emotional reaction after hearing the completed tracks.

“This album is for the books!… Like, the production, the production, the feelings, the words, the rap… it’s just, it’s really there,” she said. “Y’all not even understanding.”

Cardi first hinted at the project’s release back in October 2020. After multiple delays, she now says it’s expected to drop later this year.

Does Trump Want To Pay White People $5,000 To Have Babies?

The Donald is Wildin’!

Donald Trump wants babies. He wants babies for Americans. How is this even possible? Well, word on the street is that he’s prepared to start paying families $5,000 to have babies. As you know, fewer and fewer people are getting married — and even fewer are having children. What a conundrum when you’re trying to grow the economy with people. But I digress.

Let’s break this down a little bit.

As Americans are hit harder with economic hardships, this idea pops up. I’m not sure how it makes sense — but I think I know what’s going on. First of all, let’s get the elephant front and center: statistically speaking, America is on track to become browner than ever before. In fact, Latino folks are now the largest minority group, reproducing even more than Black people. On top of that, white people are reproducing less than ever. For a white supremacist, this is a nightmare. They might as well start wearing hats that say “Make America White Again.” The only problem is, America was never a white-only country.

As I see it, some people will be dumb enough to have babies based on a $5,000 incentive. Why? Because they think they can get that money and run — not even thinking about how much babies and kids really cost! Sure, some may see it as a helpful incentive to get their family started. But if you’re like me, thinking about college, sports fees, and all the books and supplies kids need, you’re gonna pause and reflect.

Now there’s even more to this than I’m saying. Have you seen the movie Idiocracy? It’s a dystopian comedy that paints a bleak vision of the future. In one scene, an educated couple debates having kids and ultimately decides it’s never the right time because the world isn’t perfect. Meanwhile, a very dumb couple just keeps popping out babies with no thought at all. Eventually, they outnumber the intelligent folks. Why? Because they just do it without thinking.

I think that’s what Donald Trump is trying to do. He wants to encourage the less educated to have more kids. They’re easier to influence, easier to control, and they fuel the economy without challenging the system. A nation of idiots? That’s what he wants, in my opinion.

To be fair, other countries have launched similar programs. In fact, I think he stole it from Muammar Gaddafi, who gave Libyan women $5,000 (US dollars equivalent) for herself and the newborn. But this Trump thing just feels… different. Do you really think Donald Trump wants more Black babies and Latino babies? I don’t. He runs on a platform of nationalism and it sure doesn’t feel like this energy is directed toward anyone with melanin in their skin.

Check this out, because, race aside, the math isn’t mathing.

Diddy Loses Lawyer But Gains “Super Lawyer” Who Represented Rick Ross

Diddy swapped one attorney for another as he brought in a high-powered legal heavyweight known for defending rapper Rick Ross from 50 Cent.

Diddy has officially brought on Xavier Donaldson, a veteran trial lawyer with a long résumé of high-stakes criminal and civil cases.

Donaldson joins Diddy’s legal lineup after attorney Anna Estevao formally withdrew from the case on May 1, citing her departure from Sher Tremonte LLP, the firm repping the disgraced mogul in his criminal and civil cases.

Donaldson, a founding partner at Donaldson & Chilliest LLP in Manhattan, has spent decades defending clients in major federal and state cases ranging from narcotics conspiracies to financial fraud.

His client list includes elected officials, entertainers and athletes, and he’s also served as a legal advisor in grand jury investigations.

He’s no stranger to the Hip-Hop world either.

Donaldson previously represented Rick Ross in a lawsuit brought by 50 Cent over an explicit video leaked in 2015 as part of the rappers’ long-running feud.

He also defended Ross in a separate case involving DJ Vlad, who was beaten up by the rapper and his entourage. The assault ended in a $300,000 settlement—far less than the $4 million originally sought.

Donaldson’s legal credentials stretch far beyond the courtroom.

His reputation in the legal community earned him the title of “Super Lawyer,” a distinction awarded to only about 5% of attorneys in each state.

The recognition is based on peer nominations, professional achievement and evaluations by a panel of seasoned attorneys.

The title is reserved for lawyers who consistently demonstrate excellence in trial work, ethics and legal expertise. Diddy’s trial is scheduled to begin Monday, May 5.

Former Stylist Says She Kept Shannon Sharpe’s Personal Life Private—Mess Came After She Left

I wrote this, I got hit with déjà vu. Have I been here before? Have we? Feels familiar. The topic of the day is Shannon Sharpe.

Shannon Sharpe isn’t saying much publicly, but the streets are still talking loudly. The former NFL Hall of Famer turned media juggernaut has found himself at the center of increasing scrutiny after pulling back from his ESPN duties. While he continues recording his Club Shay Shay podcast and other digital content, speculation is heating up about what’s really going on behind the scenes. Yes, we are aware he’s been accused of gross misconduct with a 20-year-old.

But people are watching him like a hawk watches a mouse. One tipping point came after Sharpe casually told someone to “S###” on-camera. Ordinarily, that might have blown over. But in this climate, the moment sparked more commentary than a first take segment. Whether he likes it or not, Shannon Sharpe is a man being closely watched.

FOLLOW US ON INSTAGRAM.

Some are questioning whether his growing mainstream visibility has become a double-edged sword. Even Stephen A. Smith offered, “After the Katt Williams interview, I knew trouble would be on the horizon for my brother.”

Fueling the fire, a former stylist recently stepped up with a cryptic defense, saying, “None of this drama happened when they were around.” The vague support did little to clear the air and raised even more questions. Was this an attempt to suggest they kept things under control—or kept things hidden? Man, this is serious. And there’s another allegation that’s not making any of this easier.

All of this comes amid rumors of a major deal, reportedly worth up to $100 million. They even said Shaq was digging for dirt on him. That was his deal, rumor mongers said. Now, all of it may be in jeopardy. That alleged deal has gone radio silent. No updates—just these rumors.

By the way, bro. Sharpe may not be Dr. Umar’s favorite person, but he hasn’t been officially charged or named in any non-civil lawsuit. Nevertheless, the ripple effects are a tragedy in the making.

Guilty until proven innocent? What do you think?

Uhmmmmm, by the way, there’s another male stylist. He’s saying some OTHER STUFF. Later for that.

Boosie Badazz Shares Health Update—Promises Lifestyle Changes After Heart Scare

Boosie Badazz is breathing a sigh of relief after heart test results came back clean following a scary car crash and weeks of chest pain that left him rattled and rethinking his lifestyle.

The Baton Rouge rapper, 41, shared the update in an Instagram video Thursday (May 1).

He told supporters, “My testing came back negative with my heart. God good man.” He added, “I got to chill, bro,” explaining that he’s been pushing himself too hard and needs to slow down.

“I can’t let my heart keep getting excited,” Boosie shared. “I got to rest, man. That’s what I got to do. You know, change my diet.”

Boosie had been dealing with lingering chest pain since an April 7 multi-car wreck in Union City, Georgia.

He was a passenger in a BMW that suffered significant damage. Police confirmed Boosie wasn’t behind the wheel.

After the crash, he told followers, “I barely can breathe… I’m f##### up.” He later revealed doctors diagnosed him with a left atrial enlargement, a condition involving an expanded heart chamber.

“They told me I had a left atrial enlargement,” he said. “I’m focused on getting my body right.”

Despite the health scare, Boosie kept performing, hitting the stage in Charlotte just days after the accident as part of his “Millennium” tour.

But behind the scenes, he was dealing with mounting frustration over his care. “ATLANTA GOT THE WORST HOSPITALS N THE USA RATCHET, TRIFLING, ETC,” he tweeted in April.

Now, with his heart tests showing no damage, Boosie says he’s ready to make some changes.

“So all my Boosie fans, I ain’t got no I ain’t got no heart damage,” he declared. “I just got to do better.”

Here’s Why Diddy Likely Turned Down Feds’ Plea Deal

Diddy versus the federal government is on the menu, but it was almost derailed. On Thursday (May 1), Diddy officially turned down a plea deal offered by the feds. I caught wind of this, but it happened so fast, I couldn’t add it to the site fast enough.

The question is—why?

Why would a man facing serious federal charges say no to a deal? Sources say the offer on the table was 15 to life. Yes, you read that right. A minimum of 15 years in prison, potentially more depending on the final charges and sentencing outcomes. The feds boast a conviction rate north of 90 percent, but some of the lawyers I know aren’t convinced they have a strong case. Anyway, Diddy isn’t going to swallow a pill that big.

I also heard that Diddy rejected the offer because he believes the government doesn’t have enough to convict him. Scary. He’s betting on his legal team to poke holes in the case. I already said he may be considering an insanity-type of defense, essentially saying he was too high to do this crazy stuff on purpose. Rolling the dice instead of taking a guaranteed double-digit bid? That’s a bold move, especially with the feds playing hardball. But, they may know something we don’t.

READ ALSO: Is Diddy Planning Insanity Defense As Federal Trial Nears?

By the way, we talked to the lawyer of Diddy’s ex Misa Hylton. He gave some insight on what the family is going through toward the end.

It’s a dangerous gamble for Diddy. But he has always bet on himself, so this may be the only way to play this. Diddy has reportedly rejected a federal plea deal of 15 to life, opting to fight the charges in court rather than accept a lengthy prison sentence.

Nick Cannon Criticized For Missing Time With Daughter After $10M Testicle Insurance Confirmation

Nick Cannon‘s $10 million testicle insurance policy has become the punchline of a very public parenting jab after Alyssa Scott called him out on Instagram for not seeing their daughter in over a month.

Scott, the mother of Cannon’s 2-year-old daughter Halo Marie, posted a message to Cannon on her Instagram Stories Thursday (May 10).

“Ha ha haaa Funny,” she wrote. “Any plans on seeing your child? It’s been over a month @nickcannon. But good to know she’ll get some of your $ if anything happens to your balls smh.”

The Instagram comment came shortly after Cannon revealed he had insured his testicles for $10 million.

During a recent episode of the “Raven-Symoné’s Tea Time with Raven & Miranda” podcast, Cannon joked that the insurance policy was inspired by celebrity women insuring their legs.

“It started off like, ‘Yo, this would be a good joke,’ but we really went through with it,” Cannon said. He added, “I got the insurance policy in my office. It’s legit… $5 million per testicle.”

When asked what he considered his most valuable asset, Cannon didn’t hesitate: “My balls!”

He explained that if anything happened to them, the payout would go to his children. “If I happen to lose one,” he stated, “all the money goes to my kids.”

Nick Cannon, who has fathered 12 children with six women, including pop icon Mariah Carey, said the idea came from Dr. Squatch, who pitched the concept during a conversation about celebrity body part insurance. Cannon leaned into the humor, saying he might need to hit pause on expanding his family. “I love babies… but maybe my bank account doesn’t,” he joked.

But Scott’s post suggested the joke didn’t land at home. The two previously shared a son, Zen, who died at five months old in 2021 from brain cancer. Their daughter Halo was born in December 2022.

This isn’t the first time Cannon’s co-parents have taken issue with his involvement. LaNisha Cole, mother of daughter Onyx, previously criticized him for staging what she called “fake” photo ops.

Beyoncé Celebrates Tina Knowles’ Bestseller With Mother & Daughters By Her Side

Beyoncé turned her Cowboy Carter tour stop in Los Angeles into a family celebration as she honored her mother, Tina Knowles, for landing the top spot on The New York Times Best Seller list with her memoir The Matriarch.

The superstar songstress paid tribute to Knowles on Thursday night (May 1).

“This is a significant day,” Beyoncé told the crowd, with daughters Blue Ivy and Rumi standing beside her onstage. “Because my mother, who has dedicated herself to her book, has achieved the number one spot on the New York Times Best Seller list.”

The moment quickly turned into a full-blown tribute, with Beyoncé leading the audience in a “Congratulations, Mama T” chant as the crowd roared in support.

The tribute wasn’t Beyoncé’s first show of support. She previously praised her mother’s memoir on Instagram ahead of the launch.

“Mama, I couldn’t be prouder,” she wrote. “My love for you surpasses what words can express. You poured your heart into this book. I’m thrilled for you to share some of the experiences shaped you who you. To know you is to love you. But please, don’t spill too much Mama Tea.”

In a pre-recorded message played during Tina’s book tour launch, Beyoncé added, “I’m so excited because I want to congratulate you on having the No. 1 book… I’m so proud of you, and this is so well-deserved.”

Earlier this week, Beyoncé also joked on Instagram about Tina Knowles’ success.

“The Mama T was that good??” she teased. “Ha. You deserve it, I’m so proud!”

Kanye West Blurts Out Sex Life Details On Livestream

Kanye West has unintentionally revealed intimate details about his sex life during a livestream, unaware the camera was rolling.

West made the confession while speaking to streamer Sneako and alt-right white nationalist extremist Nick Fuentes.

“I definitely am more like stag/vixen and s###,” West said, referencing a non-monogamous relationship dynamic where, according to online definitions, a man encourages his partner to sleep with others.

“People call us ‘cucks,’ we not even cucks,” he added. “I’ll get cucked and s###, just to, like, switch it up … like be on the outside of the door and s###.”

However, once West realized the discussion was broadcast live, he scrambled to shut it down.

The term “cuck” is often used to describe a consensual dynamic where a person derives pleasure from their partner’s infidelity, something West alluded to in a recent song.

Kanye West Slammed Over Album Rollout Antics

Last month, West revealed he switched his album title from WW3 to Cuck. “CUCK is my whole style,” he tweetd. “It’s my music it’s the way I dress it’s my attitude.”

The album’s content has already stirred backlash. One track, “Cousins,” includes disturbing lyrics about an alleged childhood sexual relationship with a male cousin.

The rollout has also included antisemitic rhetoric, Nazi references and a cover image featuring altered Ku Klux Klan visuals.

The tracklist includes titles like “Heil Hitler,” “Hitler, Ye and Jesus,” “Free Diddy” and “Bianca,” a song in which West pleads for his wife Bianca Censori to return.

She was recently spotted with him in Spain, following divorce rumors and West claiming she had “ran away.”

West has also shared posts describing Censori in submissive terms. He reposted a message from X that called her “a subservient extension to her master.”

The post also stated, “THIS AINT NO WOKE AS [sic] FEMINIST S**T… SHE DEFINITELY WOULDNT HAVE BEEN ABLE TO DO IT WITHOUT MY APPROVAL.”

Jeezy Risks Jail Time Over Range Rover Dispute With Jeannie Mai

Jeezy has been warned that he could land behind bars if he continues to defy the terms of his divorce agreement with ex-wife Jeannie Mai after he “willfully failed” to hand over the title of a 2021 Range Rover as required by their 2024 settlement.

The judge didn’t mince words at a hearing earlier this week, stating that “any further violations could result in sanctions, including incarceration,” InTouch Weekly reports.

The warning came as the former couple’s post-divorce battles spilled back into court nearly a year after they finalized their split.

The luxury SUV isn’t the only sticking point. Jeezy also demanded that Jeannie Mai cover $20,000 of his legal expenses. She, in turn, asked the court to make him pay her legal fees. The judge denied both requests.

Despite reaching a sealed divorce agreement in June 2024, the two remain locked in legal disputes over money, property and access. Custody arrangements for their daughter Monaco remain confidential.

Mai previously accused the rapper of “explosive outbursts,” “excessive drinking,” and domestic violence in court filings last year.

Jeezy denied the allegations, calling them “false” and “deeply disturbing.”

In a 2023 contempt motion, Mai claimed Jeezy missed daycare payments, failed to pay $92,000 in rent and never transferred the Range Rover title. The issues have continued to simmer into 2025.

Jeannie Mai Calls Cops Amid Dispute Over Belongings At Jeezy’s Home

The conflict escalated again in December 2024 when Jeannie Mai called police after being blocked from entering Jeezy’s Georgia home to retrieve her belongings, despite a court order allowing her to collect personal items like Emmy awards, handbags and shoes within 21 days.

According to court records, Jeezy’s house manager refused to let her in, saying he was “acting on the orders of Jeezy.”

The rapper’s legal team argued he had “legitimate concerns about Jeannie being able to walk through the whole house” and claimed, “[Jeezy] does not feel safe having [Jeannie] in his home… [she might be] planting listening devices or cameras” due to her “history of attempting to destroy [his] career with misleading information.”

When Mai finally accessed the garage, she found her belongings “broken and scratched” with signs of water and rodent damage.
