Andrew Tate Slams “Talentless” Ice Spice Over Satanic Symbolism At Super Bowl

Ice Spice stirred up her own brand of controversy at Super Bowl LVIII on February 11. The 10K/Capitol Records artist was filmed wearing what looked like an upside-down cross and sprouting devil horns from her hands as the Kansas City Chiefs took on the San Francisco 49ers. Several critics lashed out at the “Munch” rapper, including former kickboxer Andrew Tate.

The controversial media personality shared his thoughts on Ice Spice’s antics at the Big Game during a recent episode of his Fresh & Fit podcast and determined it was in poor taste. In fact, Tate doesn’t understand how Ice Spice is famous at all considering she has no talent. He believes the only answer is devil-worship.

“On a very serious, serious note,” he said. “You have someone wearing an upside-down cross making devil symbols at the biggest cultural event in American history. Everything I said about how you can see demons if you pay attention. Did you look at her and think that’s a demon? Maybe you didn’t. But after listening to this, please pay attention. She is wearing an upside-down cross.

“The matrix has made her famous, nobody knows why. It’s certainly not because of f###king talent. And she is wearing Balenciaga, which we know are child molesters. And she is making devil symbols! What more, what kind of clue are you looking for if those aren’t the clues you need?”

It’s imperative to note Andrew Tate is no saint. Last June, Tate was charged with rape, human trafficking and forming an organized crime group to sexually exploit women in Romania. His brother Tristan and two associates also face charges. The brothers were first arrested at their Bucharest home in December 2023 before being moved to house arrest last March. Tate was recently taken off house arrest as he awaits trial.

Of course, Tate maintains his innocence. As he was leaving the courthouse upon his initial arrest, he said, “I love this country… and I look forward to being found innocent.”

As for Ice Spice, Andrew Tate isn’t the only one who thinks she’s a Satan worshipper. But Playboi Carti, who gifted Ice Spice with the chain, reportedly had no intentions of delivering her an unholy piece of jewelry. According to TMZ, the piece was designed by celebrity jeweler Alex Moss and sprinkled with baby pink sapphires in what is supposed to be a normal cross.

50 Cent Wishes Dr. Dre “Happy Birthday” While Teasing Mystery Collaboration

50 Cent and Dr. Dre could be releasing new music or collaborating on a project of some sort together soon, at least according to Fiddy’s recent birthday message to the West Coast Hip-Hop legend.

On Sunday (February 18), 50 Cent celebrated Dr. Dre’s life on Twitter (X) by sharing an older photo of himself and the multi-platinum producer in a brief tweet.

“Happy Birthday to my boy @drdre,” he wrote. “W got some New Heat coming • http://gunitbrands.com.”

In addition to collaborating with Dr. Dre in some capacity, it appears 50 Cent has intentions to work with more Hollywood talent. Prior to Dr. Dre’s birthday shoutout, 50 Cent expressed his concern with actor Terrence Howard’s claims that he only made $12,000 for his role in the cult-favorite film Hustle & Flow. 50 Cent reposted a viral clip of Howard’s recent interview in a tweet on February 15 and issued a call-to-action to several actors, mainly Taraji P. Henson.

“This s### hurt my stomach to hear @terrencehoward say this,” he wrote. “F### em I need the best actors and I’m gonna pay them. @tarajiphenson you cool with @maryjblige ask her, she got a BIG FVCKIN BAG. GLG GREENLIGHTGANG My young boy’s @michaelraineyjr , @mekaicurtis , @LilMeechBMF are all making millions.”

Chris Brown Tussles With Ruffles After NBA Celebrity All-Star Game Crumbles

Chris Brown has a bone to pick with Ruffles—again. After calling out the potato chip brand for allegedly playing a role in getting him disinvited from playing in the NBA Celebrity All-Star Game, he was back in his bag on Sunday (February 18). Taking to Instagram, Brown ripped into Ruffles, claiming the company’s statement in which it denied culpability was all for show.

“@RUFFLES,” he wrote, “I guess yall tryna save face now! STAND ON BUSINESS. Don’t try to make it look like I’m trippin. YOU AND THE NBA representatives know exactly what yall are doin! I HAVE NO REASON TO LIE. YALL KNOW I DON’T CHASE CLOUT! The only reason they responded is because of all the team breezy fans flooding they s###. Stop f#### playing with me! SEE HOW FAKE THIS S### IS… COWARDS!! YALL KNOW DAMN WELL I AIN’T LYING BECAUSE I NEVER BE ON THIS TYPE OF TIME. These b###### (@ruffles) tryna save face!”

Chris Brown made his allegations on Friday (February 16) via Instagram. As he explained to his 145 million followers, “I was asked by the NBA to play in the all star game this year!” he told his 145 million followers. “Only for them to call later and say they couldn’t do IT because of their sponsors like RUFFLES. At this point I’m sick of people bothering me and I’m tired of living in the past f###ing past. I POSTED THE EMAILS SO YALL COULD SEE. The NBA still was tryna get me to come and sit court side …. NOT F###ING HAPPENING. I go where I’m appreciated.”

The Ruffles brand responded to Brown’s latest controversy in a statement sent to AllHipHop. It read: “Ruffles sponsored last night’s NBA All-Star Celebrity Game, however Ruffles did not have any involvement in, nor visibility to, any player decisions or celebrity invite discussions.”

Chris Brown clearly begs to differ. Read through the posts above.

Did Bobby Shmurda Issue Deadly Threat While Engaged In London Quarrel?

Bobby Shmurda may have momentarily reverted to an old form of himself based on footage of his recent altercation in a nightclub overseas.

According to multiple reports and viral video clips trending on social media, Shmurda and his entourage were involved in a brawl in a London club where the “Hot N###a” lyricist was performing in the early morning hours. Apparently, things were going smoothly at the Proud Cabaret nightclub until around four in the morning.

Immediately after Shmurda finished performing a pair of songs, he got into a verbal disagreement with the club promoter. The argument quickly turned into a squirmish and Shmurda can be seen among the individuals onstage pushing and shoving in the clips circulating.

But that’s not all, because Shmurda allegedly spit at someone in the crowd—and he can even be seen lunging onto the dancefloor to go after a man rumored to be the promoter. It also sounds like Shmurda told the individual “I will kill you” during the chaos.

Long story short, no cops were called and Bobby Shmurda and the guys walked away from the situation quietly without incident. And per Shmurda’s Instagram story most of the night was pretty litty and he appeared to be content as surrounded by women and bottles.

Check out the highlight reel post Shmurda posted below.

Benzino Unravels On “Drink Champs” Discussing Eminem & Coi Leray: “I’m Not The Enemy”

N.O.R.E. and DJ EFN recently welcomed Benzino to Drink Champs, where the former publisher of The Source had an emotional moment. But it took him awhile to get there. Slamming alcohol throughout the nearly three-hour interview, he got progressively more intoxicated until he was a blubbering mess.

However, Benzino did manage to utter some words of wisdom regarding the rap community as a whole—while touching on his decades-long beef with Eminem and tumultuous relationship with his rapper daughter, Coi Leray. At one point, he admitted he’d be willing to make peace with Eminem if he allowed it but was disappointed by how much it affected his father-daughter dynamic.

“I don’t have nothing against Eminem,” he said. “He can rap, but I care about us [Leray] more. I don’t want to talk about it no more. My daughter came to industry figuring ‘I gotta be cool with Eminem because everybody is against my dad.’ I don’t hate Eminem. I don’t know him to hate him. I don’t hate white people, tired of this s###, man. It’s just too much. I don’t want to be the bad guy.”

As the interview came to a close, Benzino encouraged everyone to come together in unity. But because he was so drunk, DJ EFN and N.O.R.E. were having trouble getting him to sit down. As N.O.R.E. tried to bring up the transgender allegations, Benzino cut him off and claimed, “I’m a gangster. I’ll kill people”—then quickly changed his tune.

“Hip-Hop was given to us by God to save us,” he continued, stumbling. “The bottom line of all this is we gotta come together and stop bullshitting with each other and stop criticizing each other and disrespecting each other. We gotta unify together. Even if we wrong and we make mistakes, we gotta come together. Enough is enough. They using it against us bro. Let’s come together. The world loves us. Let’s just come together. Even the young n###s everywhere. Let’s just stop. I love y’all n###s. There’s no reason to be killing each other and going against each other. We all come from nothing. It’s a blessing we can feed each other’s families from this s###? Why are we like this?”

A source close to Drink Champs told AllHipHop both DJ EFN and N.O.R.E. attempted to get Benzino to slow down on his alcohol consumption, but he didn’t listen. It’s evident in the clip, too. Watch the full interview above. The Eminem and Coi Leray discussion kicks off around the two-hour and 30-minute mark.

Young Thug RICO Trial: Metro Boomin Speaks Out Amid Lawyer Arrest Rumors

Metro Boomin is urging the media and general public to get the facts straight regarding Young Thug’s RICO case and a recently arrested trial lawyer.

On Friday (February 16), Metro appeared to respond to reports that Young Thug’s trial lawyer, Nicole Fegan, had been arrested. Shortly after the Atlanta Police Department confirmed Fegan had been detained and is facing multiple charges related to gang activities, videos of the attorney began going viral. Fans quickly began attributing her exclusively to Young Thug. Metro Boomin took issue with the latter and elected to clear the air on Twitter (X).

“That lady not even thug lawyer y’all gotta stop spreading misinformation,” Metro wrote in the first tweet.

In a follow-up tweet, he issued a call-to-action concerning both Young Thug and Kodak Black writing, “#FreeJeff #FreeYak.” Black recently had his bond reinstated after lab tests proved he wasn’t in possession of cocaine at the time of his 2023 traffic stop arrest.

Even though Fegan was among the team of attorneys involved in the Young Thug and Young Slime Life (YSL) RICO trial, she wasn’t Young Thug’s attorney. Young Thug’s main defense attorney is Brian Steel, who founded Steel Law Firm and has been widely considered the most successful criminal appellate attorney in Georgia.

Tenquarius Mender, the defendant’s case Fegam was representing, was severed from the YSL RICO trial last year. Mender was charged with criminal street gang activity and solicitation to commit evidence tampering linked to a deadly 2022 shooting.

According to WSB-TV Channel 2, Fegan has been released on a $40,000 bond and maintains her innocence.

Plies Ditches Brittney Spears—Shoots His Shot At Fulton Country D.A. Fani Willis Instead

Plies has left Brittney Spears behind for his latest crush—embattled Fulton County district attorney Fani Willis. Beginning on Thursday (February 15), following day one of Willis’ evidentiary hearing to determine if she’ll be removed from the Georgia election subversion case against Donald Trump, Plies appeared unable to control his lust. In a series of remarks he shared on Twitter (X), Plies appears to champion Willis while admitting he’s aroused by her demeanor.

“After Watching Fani Willis On The Stand,” Plies said in part before adding, “I’m Turned On! I Know That Thang Good!!! Fani Hire Me I’ll Work For FREE!!”

In another follow up tweet, Plies explained his infatuation with Willis while also petitioning her to drop the RICO case against incarcerated Atlanta rapper Young Thug.

“I Want Fani To Free Thug,” he started off. “But Outside Of That. I Gotta See Bout Fani Willis! Ain’t Never Been This Turned On In My Life. I Know She Smell Good Too. Talk That Talk To Me Fani. U Ain’t Gotta Pay Me I’m Gone Pay U! I Know Fani “Wet Wet”. I Mean That In The Most Respectful Way!”

Willis isn’t the first woman who Plies has considered to be his perfect match made in heaven, from afar.

The Florida-bred rapper has been thirsting over Spears on social media for months, posting his reaction to her dancing videos and scantily clad photos. Last September the “Baby One More Time” hitmaker posted a pole dancing video in which she donned a tiny neon pink bikini and black pumps as she gyrated her hips for the camera.

“This My Beyonce U My Beyonce!!!!! I’m Drunk In Love Bih!!!!!” he wrote in the caption of a post reacting to the clip.

Plies continued in another batch of tweets in which he criticized media outlets over their coverage of Willis’ consensual relationship with a colleague working the election subversion case with her instead of reporting on Trump’s recent $345 million fraud case and also appeared to endorse a presidential run for his crush.

Check out the most recent clip Plies posted dedicated to Willis below.

Beyoncé Fans Drag “Dukes Of Hazzard” Star By His Dusty Boots Over Dog Comparison

“Dukes of Hazzard” star John Schneider is being slammed for comparing Beyonce to a dog. The actor and singer was asked for his thoughts on Beyonce’s upcoming country music album, and his response drew the ire of her legion of fans.

“The lefties in the entertainment industry just won’t leave any area alone, right? They just have to seize control over every aspect, don’t they?” the One American News host asked Schneider in an already leading series of questions.

One American News is a conservative media outlet. John, 63, replied: “They’ve got to make their mark, just like a dog in a dog walk park. You know, every dog has to mark every tree, right? So that’s what’s going on here.”

The comparison to a dog had 42-year-old Beyonce’s fans up in arms.

“This is racism at its best,” one wrote on X/Twitter. “Former Dukes of Hazzards has been likens Beyonce to a urinating dog because she decides to make a Country Western album. He needs to research Country Western.”

They were not alone.

“Comparing Beyonce to a dog is racist and hateful,” wrote another. “As a country fan, I welcome her and let’s see what she has. John Schneider is another low life white supremacist.” Others pointed out that Beyonce, unlike John, hails from Texas – the home of country music.

“And John Schneider isn’t even from Texas..but Beyonce is,” posted one. “He’s lame just like his songs and his acting.”

Beyonce released two country songs, “Texas Hold ‘Em” and “16 Carriages,” during the 2024 NFL Super Bowl.

Ex-LAPD Cops Call Cap On Sharon Stone Over O.J. Simpson Slander

Sharon Stone’s evacuation story during the OJ car chase has been queried.

In a recent interview, the “Basic Instinct” actress claimed armed police officers from the Los Angeles Police Department arrived at her home unannounced during OJ Simpson’s infamous 1994 car chase.

“(They said) he’s dangerous, and we don’t know how dangerous, and we don’t know what this is,” Sharon Stone told InStyle magazine about OJ, who has become popular again thanks to his appearances on Cam’ron and Mase’s#### sports podcast, “It Is What It Is.”

Sharon Stone said the police officers told her she had 10 minutes to pack a suitcase and they would take her to a hotel for her own safety.

Once at the hotel, Sharon claimed, armed police continued to stand guard both at the reception area and at her hotel room door “while OJ was driving up and down the f###### freeway.”

But former LAPD communications commander David Gascon has refuted the story, telling TMZ he had not heard of any of the events described by Sharon, nor had he any information suggesting she may have been part of the broader story at all.

Similarly, Tom Lange, the lead detective in the OJ Simpson case, told TMZ he had never heard about police being dispatched to Sharon’s home because of a widely televised car chase.

It is also possible that David and Tom were simply not aware of every single aspect of what was a long and chaotic incident with many moving parts.

USHER Gives His Thoughts On New Crop Of R&B Artists

USHER shared his thoughts on the new generation of R&B artists, including SZA, Victoria Monét, H.E.R. Coco Jones and Brent Faiyaz.

“I’m very happy that there’s a new installation of R&B artists who care to be authentic to what they are creating, inspired by artists of the past,” USHER told Billboard. “Everybody who has ever said to me that R&B is dead sounds crazy. Especially when I know the origins of R&B are in all other genres of music.”

On February 9, the performer released his first album since 2016, titled Coming Home.

Two days later, USHER took to the stage at the Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas to headline the Super Bowl Halftime Show accompanied by special guests Alicia Keys, Lil Jon and Ludacris.

Elsewhere in the interview, USHER has revealed what he has learned during his 30-year career. The singer-songwriter reflected on what he has taken away from his three-decade career in music.

“I really do enjoy what I do,” USHER explained. “And I don’t take kindly to the fact that people at times have doubted it. But it has definitely been motivating for me to continue to push to be great. To make something that was great and surround myself with people who don’t just want to see what I saw or what they saw but are invested in what’s happening currently and in the future.”

Joe Biden Camp Roasts Donald Trump For Peddling “Bootleg” Air Force Ones

Donald Trump must be looking to make some extra money to pay the enormous fine he was hit with by the State of New York earlier this week. On Saturday (February 17), Trump landed in Philly for Sneaker Con, a gathering that bills itself as the “The Greatest Sneaker Show on Earth.” The polarizing politician was greeted with loud boos —and a few cheers—at the Philadelphia Convention Center as he introduced what he called the “first official Trump footwear.”

The shoes—gold lame high tops with an American flag detail on the back—are being sold as “Never Surrender High-Tops” for $399 on a new website that also sells Trump-branded “Victory47” cologne and perfume for $99 a bottle. The website, however, claims it has no connection to Trump’s campaign, though Trump campaign officials promoted the appearance in online posts.

After learning of Trump’s special Sneaker Con appearance, President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris delivered a statement through Biden-Harris 2024 Communications Director Michael Tyler. It read: “Donald Trump showing up to hawk bootleg Off-Whites is the closet he’ll get to any Air Force Ones ever again for the rest of his life.”

Donald Trump has bigger problems to contend with in the wake of his latest legal battle. On Friday (February 16), Trump was fined $355 million in his civil fraud case and banned from serving as a director or officer of any New York corporation for three years. Judge Arthur Engoron handed down the punishment at the end of a three-month trial. Trump was found liable of conspiring to inflate his net worth to deceive banks and others.

Trump’s lawyer Alina Habba claimed Engoron’s decision was the culmination of a witch hunt and plans to appeal the ruling.

“This is not just about Donald Trump,” Habba said. “If this decision stands, it will serve as a signal to every single American that New York is no longer open for business.”

Engoron, meanwhile, cited Trump’s refusal to admit error in the ruling and said Trump would only continue to exploit the system if he wasn’t severely punished.

“This Court is not constituted to judge morality; it is constituted to find facts and apply the law,” the judge wrote. “In this particular case, in applying the law to the facts, the Court intends to protect the integrity of the financial marketplace and, thus, the public as a whole. Defendants’ refusal to admit error—indeed, to continue it, according to the Independent Monitor—constrains this Court to conclude that they will engage in it going forward unless judicially restrained. Indeed, Donald Trump testified that, even today, he does not believe the Trump Organization needed to make any changes based on the facts that came out during this trial.”

Trump is facing four other criminal cases: two election interference cases, a classified documents case and hush money case.

Wyclef Jean Confirms Fugees Reunion Tour Returning In 2024

Wyclef Jean was sitting in his car when he hopped on the Zoom call. Wearing his signature shades and emanating his terminally cool swagger, the Fugees MC was fired up about his latest endeavor, a partnership with retirement service provider TIAA and First Generation Investors (FGI).

Last month, Wyclef debuted a new single called “Paper Right” on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, which addresses the financial disparity in our country. He was joined by Pusha T, Lola Brooke, Capella Grey and Flau’jae, who all shared their individual experiences.

But that’s just the tip of the proverbial iceberg for Wyclef. Toward the end of the call, he confirmed the Fugees will indeed resume their reunion tour this year—despite some skepticism from their fans that it would. He also revealed he’s working on some new music with Lil Wayne that he’s not quite ready to talk about yet—but it’s coming.

“I would say to everybody we’re picking back up on the Fugees tour this year,” he told AllHipHop. “If you missed the Fugees last year, catch the Fugees this year. Another big thing I’m excited about is my Netflix movie called Prince of Port au Prince, which is based on my childhood and how I escaped poverty through imagination, so look out for that. That’s going to be amazing. Me and Lil. Wayne, we’re in the studio working on some secret, cool music. So, yeah, a lot of good things to look out for in 2024. We’re coming for sure. 100 percent.”

Fugees—comprised of Lauryn Hill, Wyclef and Pras—embarked on reunion tour in 2021 to celebrate 25 years of The Score. They again reunited last year as part of Hill’s anniversary tour celebration of The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill. But in November 2023,  Hill postponed most of the remaining dates and explained on social media that she has “been battling serious vocal strain.”

In order to recover fully, Hill said she’ll have to reschedule the remaining 2023 concerts for early next year. But nearly three months into the new year, a new itinerary has yet to be announced, leaving some fans to conclude it won’t be happening at all. But with Wyclef’s declaration, it looks like Fugees fans just need to have a little more patience.

Chris Brown Rips NBA After His Celebrity All-Star Game Invite Gets Pulled

Chris Brown was fuming Friday night (February 16) after he learned the National Basketball Association (NBA) disinvited him from playing in the upcoming Celebrity All-Star Game. Taking to his Instagram Stories, the controversial singer blasted the NBA, suggesting the league had succumb to cancel culture. Brown, of course, was arrested for the 2009 domestic assault of his then-girlfriend Rihanna.

“I was asked by the NBA to play in the all star game this year!” he told his 145 million followers. NOT F###ING HAPPENING.”

He added, “I go where I’m appreciated.”

Chris Brown frequently rants about what he perceives as unfair treatment by media and other people. Last November, he was slammed for dancing to Kanye West’s “Vultures” while dancing next to West at a party in Dubai. The song addresses West’s 2022 antisemitism controversy and features the line, “How I’m antisemitic? I just f###ed a Jewish b####.”

Brown quickly took to Instagram to insist he’s not antisemitic. Instead, he touted his ties to the Bloods street gang, by claiming he wasn’t Muslim or Jewish—he’s a Piru.

“In no way shape or form am I antisemetic (sic)!!! I’m pro life and I make music for the entire world!!!!!! So please do not get tricked into thinking I spread hate or am kool with it (sic)!” he wrote on his Instagram Stories. “This (is) for the million of young kids that look up to (me) and may be confused.

“Let me make this perfectly clear before yall try to use me as a pawn. Ima Piru. I ain’t Muslim or Jewish so don’t start no s### won’t be no s###!!! I’m trying to be peaceful but please do not wake up the demon in me!”

Kim Kardashian Seeking Genuine Partner With Good Teeth

Kim Kardashian has divulged the qualities she wants from her ideal romantic partner. The 43-year-old reality star, who shares four children with her ex-husband Kanye West, has explained what she looks for in a potential suitor.

“Accountable for actions. Takes accountability. Good teeth. Can hold their own. I don’t have to babysit all the time,” Kim Kardashian said on SiriusXM’s “This Life of Mine with James Corden” podcast. “I mean, just a good genuine person that’s driven and has their own motivations in life too, the list is so long.”

During the interview, Kim revealed she is open to finding love again, but won’t settle for just anyone.

“There’ll be moods where I’m just like, you know what? I understand my life is really big and I understand it takes a really, really, really special, unique person to want to deal with that,” she shared. “I think my life is really fun and whoever comes in my life will have a really good time, but it’s a lot.”

The Kardashians star went on to explain that she is currently happy being single.

“I’m not lonely, so I’m good,” Kim Kardashian told the podcast host. “I have my kids, I have work, I have my family, but it would be nice to share your life with someone, but when you do, it’s such a big (commitment), I don’t take that lightly.”

Kim is reportedly dating American football star Odell Beckham Jr.. However, they have not confirmed the rumors.

Donald Trump Claims “Fat” Photo Of Himself Is Fake: “These Are Despicable People”

Donald Trump was just slapped with a $355 million fine from the State of New York, but evidently he’s more concerned about an unflattering photo of himself making the rounds. On Friday (February 16), hours after Trump appeared in court, the former president addressed a photo of himself playing golf that depicted him with a bulging beer gut. He claims the photo was generated by artificial intelligence and is, in fact, not even him.

Taking to his Truth Social platform, Trump contested, “The Fake News used Artificial Intelligence (A.I.) to create the picture on the top left. These are despicable people, but everyone knows that. The other pictures are me hitting golf balls today to show the difference. Sadly, in our country, fake news is all you get!”

Donald Trump was not only fined the massive amount in his civil fraud case, he was also banned from serving as a director or officer of any New York corporation for three years.

“Defendants’ refusal to admit error—indeed, to continue it, according to the Independent Monitor—constrains this Court to conclude that they will engage in it going forward unless judicially restrained. Indeed, Donald Trump testified that, even today, he does not believe the Trump Organization needed to make any changes based on the facts that came out during this trial.”

Trump, who’s running for president yet again, has been impeached twice. He’s also facing four criminal cases: two election interference cases, a classified documents case and hush money case.

Blac Youngsta: Brother’s Alleged Killer Hit With $1M Bond Following Six-Month Manhunt

Randy Ewing, the man accused of killing the brother of Memphis rapper Blac Youngsta, appeared in court on Thursday morning (February 15). According to WREG, he learned he’d have to come up with $1 million if he wanted to secure his bond. Ewing is being held in connection to the death of Tomanuel Benson.

“You’ve also been charged with an A felony, second-degree murder,” the judge told the 28-year-old. “That carries 15 to 60 years if you are convicted.”

Benson was gunned down outside of a BP gas station on South Parkway East in August 2023. Court documents say Benson and Ewing were seen squabbling before the shooting. At one point Benson turned his back and Ewing seized the opportunity to allegedly shoot him in the head and fire more shots into a vehicle. Another man was also shot but survived.

Law enforcement officers have been looking for Ewing for more than six months. In fact, U.S Marshals were offering a $5,000 reward for any information that could lead to his arrest. They got a break in the case on Tuesday night (February 13), when he was spotted walking on Creighton Avenue in Memphis. He tried to run into a home and received several warnings to surrender, but officers were forced to release a K-9. Ewing was eventually taken into custody after a stop at the hospital for a bite to his leg. He was reportedly armed with a stolen gun.

Ewing faces multiple charges, including second-degree murder, attempted murder, theft, evading arrest and being a convicted felon in possession of a handgun.

Blac Youngsta addressed Benson’s murder on social media. He wrote: “I Love U My Baby Brother Rest Up. I’m Gone Make The World Pay. I Swear To God. Nobody Safe. Standing Over Everybody. Everybody. 4LIFE. I’m Ready For Whatever Come With This S###. It’s Ok. Don’t Feel Sorry For Me. I’m Not Gone Feel Sorry For Nobody. Only God Knows. Gone Make Sure They Feel Me. I Promise. Life Will Never Be The Same. But God Got Me. I’m The Strongest Man N The World.”

Blac Youngsta’s other brothers, Ronnie B and HeavyChampTD, were also victims of shootings in 2016 and 2019, respectively.

In other CMG-related news, police are still seeking the suspect who gunned down Yo Gotti’s brother, Anthony “Big Jook” Mims, who was fatally shot after leaving a repass on January 13. Mims was laid to rest on January 31 in Memphis amidst heavy police presence. Snipers on rooftops, helicopters and police guarded the area, while his family hired 25 armed guards to protect the funeral services.

Young Dolph Murder “Mastermind” Rebuked For “Playing Fast & Loose” With Court

The man accused of masterminding the murder of beloved rapper Young Dolph was chastised by a judge who is reviewing his request to have the conditions of his house arrest relaxed.

Hernandez Govan’s involvement in Young Dolph’s November 2021 murder as the organizer of the hit, as alleged by prosecutors, has led to charges of first-degree murder, attempted first-degree murder, and conspiracy to commit first-degree murder.

Govan was arrested in November 2022, after which he was granted a $90,000 bond and placed under house arrest.

Govan’s attorney filed a motion to review his bond conditions earlier this week. According to the documents, Govan seeks employment to provide for his wife and family.

In a tense courtroom moment, Shelby County Judge Jennifer Mitchell sternly warned Hernandez Govan for his perceived carelessness, lax attitude, and disregard for court mandates.

During the court session, Judge Mitchell did not mince words, expressing dissatisfaction with Govan’s behavior while out on bond.

“Mr. Govan, I don’t have to tell you how serious these charges are,” the judge began, setting the tone for the reprimand that followed. The judge criticized Govan for “playing fast and loose with the court” and its stipulations, indicating a blatant disrespect for the judicial process.

Judge Mitchell’s irritation was mainly sparked by Govan’s decision to engage in media interviews, actions deemed reckless and indicative of a lack of understanding of the situation’s gravity.

“You’re doing interviews… and the court doesn’t like the fact that you feel free enough to do interviews,” the judge stated, emphasizing the potential risks associated with Govan’s public appearances.

The judge made it abundantly clear that until further notice, Govan was to refrain from any form of media interaction.

“You are to not have any interviews with anybody for any reason,” Judge Mitchell mandated, reinforcing the directive sternly.

Govan’s latest request seemed moot in light of his recent actions. He previously asked to have his house arrest conditions lightened, but the previous judge featured Govan would be killed due to his alleged role in Young Dolph’s murder, which many believe was sparked by his feud with fellow Memphis rapper Yo Gotti.

Govan’s daughter, Lotta Cash Desto, was killed, as was Blac Youngsta’s brother. A suspect in that case was caught earlier this week, but the suspect who killed Yo Gotti’s brother, Big Jook, is still on the loose.

As the legal proceedings trudge forward, with a review of Govan’s bond conditions scheduled for March 1, the judge’s parting words served as a stark reminder of the severity of the situation.

“Please don’t give me any reason to revoke this bond,” the judge concluded, leaving no room for ambiguity regarding the expectations set forth.

Did Gunna Address Rumored Beef With Lil Baby On “Bittersweet” Single?

Gunna returned this week with a brand-new song. “Bittersweet” has some people wondering if the Atlanta-raised hitmaker extended an olive branch to his estranged musical partner Lil Baby.

YSL Records and 300 Entertainment released “Bittersweet” on Friday (February 16). A music video directed by Spike Jones also premiered on YouTube. Those visuals began trending on the platform.

“You my dawg. I don’t care if we fall out, n####, I never could diss you,” Gunna raps on the Working on Dying-produced “Bittersweet” track. Some listeners assumed he was referring to “My Dawg” rapper Lil Baby in those lyrics.

The “Drip Too Hard” collaborators apparently fell out in recent years. Baby allegedly took issue with Gunna accepting an Alford plea deal in 2022. Georgia prosecutors indicted the man born Sergio Kitchens in the ongoing RICO case against YSL frontman Young Thug.

Many Hip-Hop fans speculated that Lil Baby called his former friend a “rat” on the “350” song in 2023. Additionally, the fellow Atlanta native may have used a moment on stage to slam Gunna for supposedly “snitching” on Thug and other co-defendants. Kitchens has denied cooperating with the prosecution.

Before any possible tension between the two men became public, Gunna and Lil Baby worked closely together on records like the diamond-certified “Drip Too Hard” collaboration. They also dropped the Drip Harder joint mixtape in 2018.

Ice Cube Discusses New Film On Shorty Of The Lench Mob

A groundbreaking documentary offers an unprecedented look into one of Hip-Hop’s hidden figures and his personal journey.

“Comin’ Up Short,” a film by Queen Muhammad Ali and Hakeem Khaaliq, explores the life of Jerome “Shorty” Muhammad, known for his deep connections with Ice Cube and his transition from a gang leader to a protector in the rap community.

“You’ll never find a dude that’s more loyal. [Shorty] was our conscience in a lot of ways. He would tell us things like how we should be living, the things that we needed to stay away from,” said Ice Cube in an exclusive clip given to AllHipHop.

Shorty’s musical journey hit a zenith when close friend J-Dee, T-Bone, and Ice Cube, founded Da Lench Mob. This rap crew stayed connected to streets of Los Angeles, but was also infused with Black Nationalism. In 1992, Da Lench Mob released Guerillas in tha Mist, a debut album earned platinum certification from the Recording Industry Association of America in 1992.

The documentary highlights all of Shorty’s accomplishments, musically and otherwise.

It is also distinguished by its focus on Shorty’s narrative through a solitary monologue. In this manner he’s able to discuss his personal views like the covert – seemingly governmental – operations that introduced guns and drugs into African American neighborhoods. Ali and Khaaliq’s decision to spotlight Shorty’s storytelling ability offers viewers a unique and intimate portrayal of a man whose life inspired many of Ice Cube’s lyrics, bridging the gap between fiction and reality.

“Ice Cube’s stories in many songs are the real-life stories of Shorty because Shorty was the real deal,” said Khaaliq, a director and cinematographer

Produced independently by Nation19 and Ice Cube, “Comin’ Up Short” has garnered critical acclaim, receiving awards and praise for its ability to unify former rival gang members at screenings. The documentary’s music, composed by Masaniai Muhammad Ali and Queen Muhammad Ali, further enriches the film’s narrative, capturing the essence of the struggles and triumphs depicted.

“It felt like a mini Million Man March [at the premier] because it was all love in that theater, and the place was packed,” said DJ Chilly Chill, a legendary music producer who has worked with Cube, Snoop Dogg, Ice-T, Rick James, Ike Turner, Public Enemy, Lupe Fiasco, Bun B, and many more.

The film recently earned recognition from the British Film Institute (BFI) for its contribution to cinema, underscoring its impact beyond American borders. A special screening in London emphasized the documentary’s role in promoting positive representations of Muslims in media.

“Instead of shooting a hundred different talking head interviews, we decided early on to focus only on Shorty since he is an amazing storyteller,” said Director Queen Muhammad Ali, who has known Shorty since she was very young at Los Angeles Mosque #27. “Ice Cube’s stories in many songs are the real-life stories of Shorty, because Shorty was the real deal,” said director and cinematographer Hakeem Khaaliq.

Shorty’s influence on Da Lench Mob and his guidance on living a better life are evident throughout the documentary. “Comin’ Up Short” is now available for streaming on Amazon Prime and Freevee, offering audiences a rare glimpse into the complexities of gangster rap’s history and the figures who shaped its legacy.

The film is available to watch on Amazon Prime and Freevee.

Young Thug RICO Trial: Lawyer Busted For Gang-Related Charges

An attorney involved in the Young Thug and Young Slime Life (YSL) RICO trial faces multiple charges related to gang activities, the Atlanta Police Department has confirmed.

Nicole Fegan, who represented Tenquarius Mender in the high-profile case, was charged with criminal street gang activity and solicitation to commit evidence tampering linked to a deadly 2022 shooting investigation.

Fegan is accused of contacting a suspect she was not representing to warn him that cops were coming to arrest him over a shooting while advising him to dispose of his phone. According to WSB-TV Channel 2, Fegan has been released on a $40,000 bond and has maintained her innocence.

The last time Fegan was in the news was for something much less ominous: she was pregnant. Prosecutors claimed her pregnancy would delay the trial for Young Thug and the other members of YSL.

“I don’t think pregnancy should be treated as a disease or a disability,” Fegan told the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. “If Rihanna can do it, I’m sure that we can both adequately represent our clients.”

Fegan’s client, Tenquarius Mender, is related to Quantavius Mender, who was arrested for menacing Fulton County Sheriff Patrick Labat and his wife via social media—and is accused of issuing 23 terroristic threat charges.

This 18-year-old suspect is alleged to have focused his threats on Sheriff Labat and his wife, Jacki, motivated by the detention of Young Thug on charges related to the RICO case.

He reportedly demanded the artist’s release, threatening harm to the Labats in messages, including a direct statement: “#freethug or Imma sh00t u and your wife.”

Moreover, Mender is suspected of disseminating these menacing messages through the Labats’ Instagram profiles and further communicating threats to the Georgia State Patrol, the Gwinnett County Sheriff’s Office, and the Fulton Clerk of Court.
