Lil Gotit put a vandal on notice for messing with his brother Lil Keed’s grave.
The Alamo Records rapper admonished the vandalism in an Instagram Stories post on Thursday (September 8). Lil Gotit made it clear he would take action if he ever catches the person responsible for disrespecting Lil Keed’s grave.
“Whoever going to keed grave tryna unscrew him out the wall And stuff when I catch u it ain’t gone be nan nice so I hope u see this message!!!!” he wrote.
The YSL member died days after Young Thug, Gunna and others were indicted in a sweeping RICO case. Lil Keed, who wasn’t indicted, denied the allegations against his fellow YSL members prior to his death.
“YSL is a family,” he wrote on Instagram. “YSL is a label. YSL is a way of life. YSL is a lifestyle. YSL is not a gang. YSL is not a criminal [organization]. YSL is not a street gang. YSL is not a mob.”
Lil Keed died shortly after defending his YSL brethren. Lil Gotit mourned his brother’s death on social media.
“Can’t believe I seened u die today bro I did all my cries I know what u want me to do and that’s go hard for Mama Daddy Our Brothers Naychur and Whiteboy #ImaHoldthisShitDown,” he wrote.

Gucci Mane and Keyshia Ka’oir are expecting their second child together.
Ka’oir disclosed her pregnancy in an Instagram video on Friday (September 9). She referenced lyrics from Gucci Mane’s song “Mrs. Davis” in the post’s caption.
“’Let’s Have Another Baby ICE Needs Somebody To Play With’ @laflare1017 @icedavis1017,” she wrote.
The footage showed Ka’oir bringing a pregnancy test to her husband while he was in bed. He smiled after seeing the test was positive.
Ka’oir’s video then shifted to her getting an ultrasound. The couple heard their baby’s heartbeat, prompting a comment from Gucci Mane.
“It got stronger,” he said in the clip.
The 1017 Records rapper married Ka’oir in 2017. Their son Ice Davis was born in 2020.
Earlier this year, Gucci Mane gave $1 million in cash to his wife for her birthday. He also posted a glowing message about Ka’oir on Instagram.
“Happy Birthday to my wife the most beautiful woman in the world and the best thing ever came into my life,” Gucci Mane wrote in January. “I love you Mrs Davis 4ever and appreciate and will never take you for granted. I got the perfect wife and family and I got your back 4life @keyshiakaoir.”

Shamir, mostly known as Shamir Syed, is a well-known Record Producer, Song Writer, and Singer who is known for producing melodic rap music.

In an interview with another local Television Network, Shamir Syed credited his school and the local community center for playing a major role in helping him discover his talent. Rapper Ye West says he is “leaning into the light” and hoping that at least three of the people he has been warring with over the last year will accept his olive branch.
This change of heart comes after the death of Queen Elizabeth II, the longest reigning monarch in the history of the United Kingdom and other Commonwealth realms, on Thursday, September 8th.
The late royal became Queen on February 6th, 1952, and remained on the throne until her death, holding sovereignty over 32 different states as Queen regnant and monarch of 15.
Her death seemed to invoke something in the “Jesus is King” rapper as he took to his social media to express tribute. Ye made a post on Instagram where he featured the Queen in a pair of his Yeezy shades.
She didn’t actually have on the high fashion glasses. The clever designer photoshopped them on her. He also posted a picture of her as a young woman with delicate dropped diamond earrings. He has since deleted it, but fans captured it on Twitter.

Kanye West is an interesting guy. This dude has caused calamity and chaos for weeks. He has gone from thing to thing, from adidas to Kim Kardashian to his kids and more. The death of Queen Elizabeth II has apparently sparked an empathetic space in Kanye West’s heart. The rapper seemingly has forgiven all past grudges and beefs.
He specifically name checked Pete Davidson, Kid Cudi and Daniel Cherry (who is that?). OHHHH – Cherry is the Senior Vice President/General Manager of adidas aka the dude Ye has been taunting for days. The rapper posted a slew of pictures of Queen Elizabeth on IG. This guy is something else! He may be a genius, but that does not mean he is educated. Anyway, this royal white woman apparently got him to stop beefing with people and claims that now life is extremely precious.
Eventually, he deleted all of the pictures of Queen Elizabeth and posted the peace post. Then deleted it, replacing it with this:

What I love is seeing his immediate friends defending his behavior. I love it and it entertains me. Some of this stuff is indefensible, but I understand that Kanye West is a profit center. So, if you follow the money, you understand that most people will deal with just about anything that feeds their systems and puts food on the table. And that includes corporations!

Lil Tjay released the official “Beat the Odds” music video on August 26. The visuals have collected over 11 million views since its YouTube premiere.
In the song, Tjay raps about his experience of being shot and the fallout from the violent incident. The 21-year-old New Yorker filmed the music video as he lay in a hospital bed.
“Beat the Odds” joins a Lil Tjay catalog that includes “Pop Out” with Polo G, “F.N,” “Hold On,” “Calling My Phone” with 6lack, and “Headshot” with Polo G and Fivio Foreign.
At one point, rumors of Lil Tjay being paralyzed from the shooting spread across the internet. He responded to the speculation with a message on social media.
“The blogs said I was paralyzed and couldn’t walk. But I started walking in a week after surgery. I beat the odds,” wrote Tjay on TikTok.
“Beat the Odds” plays in the background of the 16-second TikTok post. More than 680,000 users like Lil Tjay’s video. He captioned the clip, “Grateful for this sh*t 🙏🏽.”
As of this morning (September 9), JID has a Top 10 trending video on YouTube. The Atlanta-bred emcee’s Tiny Desk Concert pulled in over 350,000 views in under 24 hours.
NPR Music’s latest live performance presentation included JID running through stripped-down versions of his songs. The set features “Galaxy,” “Workin Out,” “Off da Zoinkys,” “Never,” “Sistanem,” “Surround Sound,” and “Kody Blu 31.”
Musicians and vocalists backed JID for his Tiny Desk Concert. The Kara Frame-directed production follows the Dreamville recording artist’s The Forever Story album dropping on August 26.
The Forever Story contains guest appearances from Kenny Mason, EarthGang, 21 Savage, Baby Tate, Lil Durk, Ari Lennox, Yasiin Bey, Lil Wayne, Johntá Austin, Ravyn Lenae, and Eryn Allen Kane.
JID’s discography also consists of The Never Story and DiCaprio 2 studio LPs. The Spillage Village member contributed to Dreamville’s chart-topping Revenge of the Dreamers III compilation as well.
In addition to JID, NPR Music’s YouTube channel also hosted recent Tiny Desk Concerts with Usher, Denzel Curry, and Monica. Usher’s viral show has amassed more than 10 million views on YouTube.
Broadcast Music, Inc. presented the 2022 BMI R&B/Hip-Hop Awards at LIV Nightclub Miami Beach earlier this week. Hip Hop legend Busta Rhymes was honored that night.
Busta Rhymes received the BMI Icon award. The organization honored the When Disaster Strikes… album creator for his “indelible and unique influence” on the music industry.
“We’re all blessed with this gift. It’s one thing to identify with the gift, it’s another thing to believe in it once you identify with it,” said Busta Rhymes. “The most beautiful part about it is I earned this… I’ve never been celebrated as an icon before, but I never had to question whether I was one.”
Busta Rhymes also performed a melody of his biggest songs at the ceremony. The 50-year-old emcee ran through records such as “Break Ya Neck,” “Scenario,” and “Put Your Hands Where My Eyes Could See.”
In addition, Megan Thee Stallion and Christopher “YC” Pearson tied as Songwriter Of The Year at this year’s BMI R&B/Hip-Hop Awards. Producer Of The Year went to D’Mile.
Megan Thee Stallion won Songwriter Of The Year for “Body,” “Cry Baby” and “Thot S###.” YC’s work on “Back in Blood,” “Time Today” and “Wockesha” earned him the songwriter award.
“Peaches” – written by Daniel Caesar, GIVĒON, Bernard “HARV” Harvey, Luis Manuel Martinez Jr. (Shndō), and Andrew Watt – won Song Of The Year. Sony Music Publishing picked up BMI’s R&B/Hip-Hop Publisher Of The Year.
Producer Hitkidd and rapper GloRilla scored a Number One on Billboard‘s Mainstream R&B/Hip-Hop Airplay chart with “F.N.F. (Let’s Go).” The Crunk track has an official remix with Latto and City Girls member JT.
Hitkidd published “F.N.F. (Let’s Go) (Remix)” featuring Latto and JT on his YouTube channel. The visuals for the original version have already crossed 37 million views on the platform.
So far, Hitkidd and GloRilla’s “F.N.F.” has peaked at #49 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart after debuting at #91. It made it into the Top 20 of the Rhythmic rankings as well.
Latto’s 2022 also includes her releasing the 777 studio album in March. The Atlanta rhymer’s Platinum-certified “Big Energy” became a Top 3 hit on the Hot 100.
City Girls previously connected with Latto for “In n Out.” That single lives on the former Mulatto’s 2020 album, Queen of da Souf. JT and Yung Miami also teamed up with the Atlanta native for DJ Khaled’s God Did track “Bills Paid.”
The family of Chris Kaba, also known as U.K. drill rapper Madix, are demanding a homicide investigation after a police watchdog group found there were no weapons or firearms in the 24-year-old’s car when he was shot dead by cops. His father deemed the incident resulting in his death “totally racist and criminal.”

The 24-year-old artist was shot dead by police after a car chase in South London on Monday night (Sept.5). Cops hemmed in his Audi before one round was fired from a police weapon. He was taken to hospital, where he sadly died later that night.
Chris Kaba’s loved ones issued a statement, demanding answers from the authorities: “The family of Chris Kaba seek a homicide investigation into his death from the outset.
“We have told the IOPC of that demand and that we do not want any delay as has happened in other fatal shootings – otherwise we and the wider public can have no confidence that the police will be held to account.
The family said they are “devastated” and in need of “answers” and “accountability” from the police.
“We are worried that if Chris had not been Black, he would have been arrested on Monday evening and not had his life cut short.”
Demands For Justice
Many in the Black community are demanding justice, outraged at the death of another Black man at the hands of the police. However, while in agreement with the sentiment, Chris Kaba’s family wants to ensure all protests “are not only peaceful but also legal,” following changes in the law surrounding protests. “Black communities are often over-policed under the misconception that we act violently, disorderly and with criminality,” the family explained.
“This is exactly why Chris was followed by the police. We do not want to give them the satisfaction of unrest in our communities or playing to these dangerous stereotypes. In our pursuit of justice we will make our voices heard loudly, clearly and with dignity. We ask that you respect our wishes as Chris’ family and allow us to coordinate the various activities we expect in the coming weeks.”

Saweetie has opened up about her two-and-a-half-year relationship with Quavo after their split last year.
The couple gave few details about their split at the time, although, at the time, Saweetie tweeted, “I’ve endured too much betrayal and hurt.” During the most recent episode of Caresha Please, Yung Miami grilled her about their relationship, including the infidelity rumors.

Some fans suggested this was a reference to Nicki Minaj. However, Lil Kim denied it and blasted 50 Cent. She took to her Instagram Stories claiming, “I never said a word about anyone’s child.”
Kim says the lyrics are “clearly talking about an ex,” and said any attempt to twist her words is “disgusting.” She added, “I’m one of the most disrespected legends in the game,” adding, “I still can’t believe y’all can’t see through 50’s lame ass, disgraceful, ugly and narcissistic tactics.”
Lil Kim then said 50 Cent is causing “drama and confusion because the girl he wanted is getting too much attention.”
She also told Fiddy’s girlfriend Cuban Link to “get out while you can girl,” tagging her in the post. Lil Kim concluded, “It’s so crazy how a song about b#### ass n##### could touch a b#### ass n##### soul so deeply, that he resorts to attacking a child.” She continued, “I’M THAT B####!!!! Joey Bada$$ would like to portray Big L in a potential film about the late rapper.
The 27-year-old artist suggested himself for the role of Big L in an interview with REVOLT. Joey Bada$$ felt the Diggin’ in the Crates member deserved a biopic.
“A Hip Hop icon that I would love to play in a biopic would have to be Big L,” Joey Bada$$ said. “I’ve heard many people in my career tell me how I favor him look-wise. Personally, he’s one of my favorite rappers to come out of the golden age — his story isn’t known well enough, so I would love to bring his story to light and worldwide.”
RBC Records’ Brian Shafton told TMZ he liked the idea. RBC owns some of Big L’s masters.

Big L emerged with Cam’ron and Ma$e in a group called Children of the Corn. He became part of the D.I.T.C. collective, which included artists such as Fat Joe and Lord Finesse.

Big L, whose real name was Lamont Coleman, was shot and killed in 1999. His second album The Big Picture was posthumously released in 2000.
Judge Ural Glanville instituted restrictions on the communication between lawyers and their clients in the Young Thug/YSL RICO case.
The judge called for limitations after prosecutors raised concerns about leaked discovery information and witness intimidation. Young Thug’s lawyer Brian Steel pushed back, suggesting his client posed no danger to any witness.
Steel also insisted Young Thug had no cell phone access in jail. The prosecution countered the attorney’s claim by citing the rapper’s recent social media activity.
“This is part of the conversation I had with all of you about your teams and everybody else,” Judge Glanville said. “You really gotta zealously clamp down on—it’s like dealing with classified information. It’s need to know at this point in time. And if people don’t need to know, you don’t need to disclose it. And it’s gonna get somebody either hurt or somebody in a lot of trouble.”
Steel responded by defending Young Thug’s Twitter exchange with swimmer Michael Phelps. The lawyer claimed someone else posted it on his client’s behalf.
“That last tweet that was sent out to Michael Phelps is recorded,” Steel said. “It’s been investigated by the sheriff of that county. And it was a conversation that was recorded between [Young Thug] and a member of his close family, close friendships. He asked the other person who’s in control of his Twitter account to send that, or the Instagram, maybe. That is not a reason to [restrict].”
Judge Glanville saw it as an example of Young Thug’s ability to relay messages from behind bars.
“Well, this is part of the conversation, Mr. Steele, you and others are gonna need to have with your clients,” the judge said. “Because this is part of the state’s concern.”
Steel replied, “That was an innocent—that’s nothing bad. Asking somebody to tweet to Michael Phelps, ‘Can you swim 100 miles in the ocean?’ That has nothing to do with intimidation.”
But Judge Glanville was unconvinced by Steel’s arguments.
“Well, if I can communicate through a family member or somebody else, then I can communicate something else,” the judge surmised.
Young Thug will remain in jail while awaiting trial in the RICO case. He was denied bond three times since his arrest in May.
