Airplane James Explains New Project “Lowkey Hurt” And Needing That Snoop Feature

Airplane James isn’t your typical Los Angeles rapper, and he’s perfectly okay with that. Coming out of the east side of South Central Los Angeles, the rising star has been grinding and putting in the work, with his eyes set on becoming one of the greats. Whether he’s dropping bars or doing the slow jams, James prides himself in his authenticity, going from “East LA s### to deep, thought-provoking s### in the middle of all that too.”

In describing himself, James simply states, “I’m just a regular dude that just so happened to be into rap forreal. It’s not too many extras on me.”

Earlier this year, James landed a high score on A Day In La’s The New LA Rap Report Card with a B-, causing a stir amongst his West Coast peers. He then unleashed his Who TF Is Airplane James? 2 project, stemming off the success of Power 106 radio personality Justin Credible playing his song “100 Bandz” on the radio.

Fast forward to today, James is as excited as ever to be unleashing his highly-anticipated new project titled Lowkey Hurt, spearheaded by lead single “BEFORE.”

AllHipHop: What is East LA like, as opposed to the rest of LA?

Airplane James: East LA is somewhere else. [laughs] I’m from the East side of LA, East side of South Central. I’d say Broadway, Manchester area. Now you’re going over to Slauson, Crenshaw area, that’s the West side. People are not familiar with the East side like that, but s### we got some artists from there. G Perico, Bluebucks Clan, AzChike, it’s a lot of people from the East side. We’re on top now baby!

AllHipHop: What was your upbringing like in LA?

Airplane James: It was a lot going on but I don’t have one of them crazy ass — I mean, my story is kind of crazy. But as far as something dangerous, I don’t have that type of story. My upbringing was pretty regular. Granny didn’t let me come off the front porch until I was like 12, because we lived in the middle of some s###. It was about 3 gangs down in my neighborhood, so she was very afraid for us. We had to play in the backyard, couldn’t come outside until I was 12. Once she did that, I ran the streets. I went wild.

AllHipHop: When did you fall in love with music?

Airplane James: The moment I seen Lil Wayne with that orange bandana on, “Tha Block Is Hot.” Whenever that was, I was in elementary. I seen that and wanted to be him. I had been wanting to put words together ever since.

AllHipHop: How did you and Problem meet initially? How does it feel to be part of Diamond Lane Records?

Airplane James: That’s big bro. I always was around him. People don’t know, I was the lil homie that was around. I was doing music, but n*ggas wasn’t really taking my music serious. I wasn’t taking my music serious at the time either. Once I took that leap, I got in the studio with them. My big homie from the neighborhood come in contact with them. We linked in the studio and from that point on, it was just magic. We just meshed well. He’s a teacher and I’m a person who likes to listen and pick up game, we meshed from that point on.

AllHipHop: It was a big moment when Problem put you on his project, bring us back to “Top Off.”

Airplane James: 9th Wonder produced it and that s### went crazy. I was already taking it serious, but I’m at the video shoot like damn I’m really on a song with Problem and 9th Wonder! I’m like aw yeah, if they approve it, then somebody out there will take me serious. Period, they take it serious. So that’s how I looked at it.

AllHipHop: How’d it feel to be named one of the highest on A Day In LA’s Report Card?

Airplane James: It was dope. My head’s down so much where I just try to keep my shovel in the dirt and keep digging: keep working, keep working. I don’t really like to look up at accolades. The grade was cool though. Who wouldn’t want to be ranked high? It was dope, but I have more work to do. I don’t like to sit there and dwell on the W’s I guess.

AllHipHop: You just released “BEFORE,” who or what inspired this record?

Airplane James: I had released Eastside Special 2. All the music I’ve released prior to before was an ode to my section, the city where I come from type s###. This new s###, I wanted to dig a little deeper on who I am. When I leave the homies, who am I during that car ride home? What do I go through? “BEFORE” is from that: relationships and being vulnerable. Basically telling a woman you really had me f##### up.

AllHipHop: Does the woman know it’s about her?

Airplane James: I’m sure, if she hears it. The first few words she’ll know fasho. She’s blocked on everything though, I don’t know if she’ll listen. [laughs]

AllHipHop: What was the highlight from shooting the video?

Airplane James: Getting my acting on. I always wanted to do some f###### acting and I think I nailed It. I could get a little better, but that was the highlight. I finally got to do some acting s###, and step behind the camera and help direct the s###.

https://orcd.co/apjlowkeyhurt

AllHipHop: What can we expect from your new album, Lowkey Hurt?

Airplane James: You could just expect more vulnerability, more personal stories. It’s just a vibe. I took this time period I was in my life with women, discovering self and made it into a project. That’s what you would hear. It won’t be a bunch of turn up, it’s more personal stories on there.

AllHipHop: What’s the significance in the title?

Airplane James: It’s really n##### don’t ever wanna admit they’re hurt. [laughs] I’m still outside though, f### it. That s### lowkey hurt. It’s like I’m opening up and letting you in, but I still have to be a n*gga in these streets.

AllHipHop: What are you most excited for with the release of the project?

Airplane James: Just the reception. To see how people take to it after coming off of “100 Bandz,” “Impress me,” these upbeat turnt up records that are doing well, I want to see how people react and receive this new music.

AllHipHop: 3 things you need in the studio?

Airplane James: Water, good producers, and that’s pretty much it. I don’t need a whole lot of s###. Maybe liquor or maybe some gummy bears. There’s these gummy bears I get from the gas station, they’re called Gourmet. They have sherbert ice cream flavor. My birthday just passed so if you want to get me a late gift, run me those.

AllHipHop: How was it hearing “100 Bandz” on the radio?

Airplane James: That feeling never gets old, ever. I could hear my s### tomorrow and feel the same way. I’m like a kid. You grew up in the city, listening to that radio station then finally hearing your s###, it’s a pinch yourself moment. Damn, that’s really me on there!

AllHipHop: Top 5 artists of all-time?

Airplane James: My s### be rotating. My s### a few weeks ago was horrendous, I don’t even want to tell people. Aw s###. Kanye, Drake, see it’s tricky. [laughs] I’m a go with Lil Wayne for sure, Andre 3000, and Snoop Dogg. Snoop Dogg’s the greatest Crip of all-time. You could go anywhere on this continent and they’ll be like “Snoop Dogg!” I need a feature from Snoop before he retires. I feel like it’s in my grasp. I don’t know why it hasn’t happened yet.

AllHipHop: Snoop is about his bread.

Airplane James: Right, I’m about mine too. Snoop, let’s collab on some s### baby! Take this s### to the top.

AllHipHop: What are you most excited for next?

Airplane James: Man! I just wanna see what happens with that. I have more s### I’m working on. It’s going to be a deluxe for that, I ain’t told nobody yet. You’re the first person.

AllHipHop: Does that mean there are features on the deluxe?

Airplane James: Mmm, that remains to be seen. I can’t tell you all that, but just know the deluxe is coming. I’m excited about that and we’re going to put out a lot of music this year. This won’t be the last little project you hear from me this year. I’m excited about building and continuing to grow the brand.

AllHipHop: How was it linking with Bino Ridaeux on “Impress Me”?

Airplane James: That n*gga’s a good dude. I had been wanting to get in with him. His manager at the time, Jay Shepp, was supposed to link us, but it didn’t happen for whatever reason. I had did this Louisiana Eastside Special pop up event, he saw it like “bro, you’re doing it right. You’re dope.” He reached out to me like like “pull up to the studio.” I pulled up to the studio, caught a vibe. We’re the same type of dude, he’s funny as f###. We’re both goofy. We just did music. I hopped on some of his s###. I played him” Impress Me,” he got on that s### and that’s how it happened.

AllHipHop: What do you like to do when you’re not doing music?

Airplane James: When I’m not doing music, I really like to be at the crib doing regular s###, watching shows and s###. Going to the park, playing ball. I like to play pick-up ball like a muthafucka. I be into my shows. I like to do regular s###, that’s it. The music s###, you be everywhere in music. On my off-time, when I’m not doing it I like to center myself. Get it together, relax.

AllHipHop: Anything else you want to let us know?

Airplane James: Lowkey Hurt out now! That’s it baby, Lowkey Hurt!

The Weeknd Drama “The Idol” Gets “New Creative Vision”

Producers are taking a “new approach” to The Weeknd’s HBO drama series, “The Idol.”

The upcoming program stars the singer-songwriter, real name Abel Tesfaye, as he enters into a complicated relationship with a rising pop idol, played by Lily-Rose Depp.

In a statement obtained by editors at The Hollywood Reporter, executives revealed that they have settled on a new creative vision for the program and will “adjust” the cast and crew accordingly.

“The Idol’s creative team continues to build, refine, and evolve their vision for the show and they have aligned on a new creative direction,” a spokesperson commented. “The production will be adjusting its cast and crew accordingly to best serve this new approach to the series. We look forward to sharing more information soon.”

The Weeknd, his producing partner Reza Fahim, and “Euphoria” creator Sam Levinson announced the project last June.

Joseph Epstein later signed on as showrunner, while Amy Seimetz is to serve as the director.

Suzanna Son, Troye Sivan, and Steve Zissis have been cast as series regulars, while Melanie Liburd, Tunde Adebimpe, Elizabeth Berkley Lauren, Nico Hiraga, and Anne Heche were set to recur.

A rep for HBO didn’t announce the roles that are being recast.

Pusha T Explains The Real Problem With Kid Cudi/ Kanye West Beef

Pusha T has weighed in on Kid Cudi and Kanye West’s bitter feud.

Earlier this year, the hip-hop stars fell out after Kanye blasted Kid Cudi, who used to be signed to his G.O.O.D. Music label, for being friends with Pete Davidson, who is dating his ex-wife Kim Kardashian.

He later decided to remove Kid Cudi from his album Donda 2 due to his association with the “Saturday Night Live” comedian.

In an interview with Vulture, Pusha reflected on the situation, which is awkward for him as they all collaborated on a song titled “Rock n Roll” for his new album It’s Almost Dry.

Acknowledging that the tension “sucks,” the star explained: “You know Cudi is my f###### brother to the end. Just navigating these relationships, this brotherhood, the arguing… it gets public. It’s one thing for us to argue. We all argue – that’s not a problem. It gets out there, whether it’s Ye bickering first, or Cudi coming back with what he says. It’s super f##### up.”

Pusha, real name Terrence Thornton, also claimed that Kanye and Kid Cudi were on great terms back when they recorded the track a year ago.

“Everybody was so f###### happy,” he recounted. “Ye’s chopping the Beyoncé sample. Cudi happens to come in that day. We see each other, and I hadn’t seen him in a while. He’s like, ‘I gotta get on a record. Are you crazy?’ Cudi did, like, three or four different references. Beyoncé cleared the sample. There was so much great energy around the making of that record.”

Despite the drama, Pusha noted that Kid Cudi still cleared “Rock n Roll” for release after the fallout: “He did what he did for his bro, and I love him for that.”

Lil Durk Threatens To Beat Up Man For Fighting A Woman

Lil Durk recently paused a show to call out a man in the crowd who was allegedly trying to fight a woman.

A video shows the rapper pointing out one of his concertgoers at the Bridgeport, Connecticut stop of his “7220 Tour.”

“I just seen the most craziest s### in the crowd, man,” Durk told the audience. “I just seen a n#### tryna fight a girl, man. Slow down bro, you know? Where he at? Where he at who just tried to fight a girl, man?”

https://youtu.be/ObVBA3SiHXY

After locating the man, Durk addressed him: “Aye bro, why you tryna fight girls, bro? I should come over there and f### you up. Yeah. We really like that for sure. I’d make your ass apologize right now. Deadass and you a hoe. You a hoe.”

When the video was reposted on Instagram, a user claiming to be the man said he was defending his girlfriend against another woman.

“Durk aint understand the situation,” the user wrote.

Lizzo Announces “The Special Tour” With Latto

Two high-profile female rappers will tour together later this year. Lizzo will head out on her North American “The Special Tour” with Atlanta-based rhymer Latto as a special guest.

“The Special Tour” begins September 23 in Sunrise, Florida. Fans in Philadelphia, Toronto, Chicago, Atlanta, Houston, Dallas, Los Angeles, and other cities will get to see Lizzo perform live.

Lizzo dropped her new single “About Damn Time” on April 14. The Ricky Reed/Black Slatkin-produced track will appear on the Atlantic recording artist’s upcoming Special studio LP.

Special will arrive on DSPs on July 15. Earlier this month, Lizzo performed “About Damn Time” and the project’s title track on NBC’s Saturday Night Live sketch comedy program.

Lizzo recruited fellow Grammy winner Cardi B for the 2021 “Rumors” single. That collaboration peaked at #4 on Billboard‘s weekly Hot 100 song chart. The RIAA certified “Rumors” as Gold with 500,000 units sold.

Special will join a Lizzo catalog that contains 2013’s Lizzobangers, 2015’s Big Grrrl Small World, and 2019’s Cuz I Love You. Latto released her own 777 studio LP in March. The RCA artist’s sophomore album features 21 Savage, Lil Wayne, Childish Gambino, Lil Durk, Nardo Wick, and Kodak Black.

According to Marvel.com, El Muerto (aka Juan Carlos) is a super-powered Mexican wrestler. The powers and the mask of El Muerto have been passed down through generations.

In the comics, El Muerto wrestled Spider-Man in a match organized by the Daily Bugle‘s J. Jonah Jameson. El Muerto nearly unmasked the web-slinger before the two superheroes later fought off Juan Carlos’s oppressor El Dorado.

Bad Bunny Shined At WWE’s WrestleMania 37

Bad Bunny’s upcoming turn as El Muerto follows the El Último Tour del Mundo album creator’s run in the WWE. The musician stepped into the squared circle several times for the world’s leading wrestling promotion.

The Latin Trap star impressed a lot of WWE fans when he nearly stole the show at WrestleMania 37. Bunny teamed with Damian Priest to defeat The Miz and John Morrison at the 2021 event. He also won the WWE’s 24/7 Championship on an episode of Monday Night Raw.

Sony Also Hired The Part-Time Pro Wrestler For Another Movie

Bad Bunny will make his major movie studio debut in Sony’s Bullet Train action comedy which is due out in theaters on July 29. The film’s cast also includes Brad Pitt, Brian Tyree Henry, Zazie Beetz, Sandra Bullock, and others.

El Muerto is scheduled for release on January 12, 2024. Bad Bunny is said to be the first Latino actor to headline a live-action Marvel movie. Sony Pictures previously distributed movies from the Spider-Man Universe of characters such as 2021’s Venom: Let There Be Carnage and 2022’s Morbius.

Bad Bunny’s jump to the silver screen comes after he became a global superstar as a recording artist. He scored his first Billboard Hot 100 chart-topper in the United States as a guest on Cardi B’s “I Like It” along with J Balvin. In addition, El Ultimo Tour del Mundo spent one week at #1 on the Billboard 200 album chart in 2020.

Pusha T Addresses Kanye West/Kid Cudi Feud

Four years ago, Chicago’s Kanye “Ye” West and Cleveland’s Scott “Kid Cudi” Mescudi joined forces to present the Gold-certified Kids See Ghosts collaborative project. Fast forward to the present day, and both Hip Hop performers are no longer on speaking terms.

The current feud between Kanye West and Kid Cudi began over Ye constantly trolling comedian Pete Davidson for dating his estranged wife Kim Kardashian. West even declared Cudi would not have a song on the Donda 2 album because of his association with Davidson.

Kid Cudi responded to Ye by tweeting, “We talked weeks ago about this. You’re whack for flipping the script and posting this lie just for a look on the internet. You ain’t no friend. BYE.”

Despite the bad blood between the midwesterners, Kid Cudi and Kanye West did appear together on Pusha T’s new album It’s Almost Dry. A track titled “Rock N Roll” features Ye and Cudi.

“Hey! So I know some of you heard about the song I got [with] Pusha. I did this song a year ago when I was still cool [with] Kanye. I am not cool [with] that man. He’s not my friend and I only cleared the song for Pusha [because that’s] my guy. This is the last song [you] will hear me on [with] Kanye,” tweeted Kid Cudi last week.

Pusha T Calls “Rock N Roll” One Of The “Hot Joints” On His Album

Over the last several days, Pusha T took part in several interviews to promote It’s Almost Dry. The Virginia-raised rapper recently showed up on SiriusXM’s Shade 45 with Gray Rizzy. That conversation included Pusha talking about Kanye West and Kid Cudi.

“I think right now, I’m gonna just let them have their space. You couldn’t even imagine the amount of talking I even had to do just in regards to getting the record for the album cleared,” Pusha T told Gray Rizzy.

Pusha added, “Which is now proven to be one of the hot joints from the album, which I know the label’s gonna be like, ‘We got to shoot this video…’ Cudi is definitely very strong-willed. He’s standing on what he’s standing on.”

The 44-year-old emcee went on to say that Kid Cudi has always been one of his most ardent backers. Despite the current state of their personal relationship, Pusha T still believes the hostility between Cudi and Ye is fixable.

“Brothers fight. That’s it. Brothers fight. Sometimes it goes far. Hopefully, we can all figure it out though,” stated Pusha T. Plus, he recalled the energy being “high” during the studio session for “Rock N Roll” with Kanye West and Kid Cudi.

Pusha also said the reconciliation between frenemies Kanye West and Drake was good for the two superstars. However, the recording artist born Terrence Thornton expressed no desire to collaborate with longtime rival Drake at this time.

Gayle King Wants To Interview Tory Lanez About The Megan Thee Stallion Incident

Megan “Thee Stallion” Pete’s sit-down interview with CBS Mornings became a hot topic this week. The “Savage” hitmaker spoke to veteran journalist Gayle King about the highly-publicized shooting, supposedly involving Tory Lanez, that took place in July 2020.

Over the course of her conversation with King, Megan recalled the night when singer/rapper Tory Lanez allegedly fired a gun at her feet in Hollywood Hills, California. Meg fought back tears as she told her side of the story on the morning television program.

Megan Thee Stallion expressed regret for saying her injuries were caused by broken glass as a way to protect an alleged armed Tory Lanez from approaching police officers. She also claimed Lanez offered her $1 million to remain quiet about the incident.

Some Tory Lanez supporters took issue with Megan being able to speak to the press about the conflicting situation. During an interview with Entertainment Tonight‘s Kevin Frazier, Gayle King indicated an interest in speaking with Lanez too.

“I would love to talk to Tory Lanez if he ever wanted to speak as well,” said Gayle King. “We certainly have an open invitation to him. We reached out to his attorney and we got the traditional ‘we don’t have anything to say at this particular time’ [response].”

Tory Lanez Cannot Talk About The Assault Case Or Megan Thee Stallion

A judge barred Tory Lanez from discussing the assault case in public. He also cannot contact or mention Megan Thee Stallion. Superior Court Judge David Herriford recently ruled Lanez violated an order of protection by posting tweets referring to Megan.

Authorities booked Lanez (born Daystar Peterson) for the violation. He was later released on a $350,000 bond. The Canadian recording artist has always maintained he did not shoot Megan Thee Stallion.

Lanez pled not guilty to felony counts of assault with a semiautomatic firearm, personal use of a firearm, and carrying a loaded, unregistered firearm in a vehicle. If convicted, he faces a maximum sentence of 22 years and eight months in state prison.

“We look forward to addressing Ms. Pete’s claims – including all its inconsistencies, discrepancies, and omissions – in a court of law,” read a statement attorney Shawn Holley sent to CBS Mornings on behalf of Tory Lanez.

Jamie Foxx Calls Out Stephen A. Smith Over Ben Simmons Comments

Some sports pundits, such as ESPN’s Stephen A. Smith, questioned Ben Simmons’s decision to not play for the Brooklyn Nets in the team’s playoff game against the Boston Celtics. Smith went on a tirade against the Australian-born basketball player.

“Ben Simmons might also be the weakest, most pathetic excuse for a professional athlete we have ever seen in, not just American history, but the history of sports,” said Stephen A. Smith on his First Take show.

The Shade Room shared Smith’s commentary on Instagram which amassed over 1.2 million views and 7,000 comments on the page. Oscar-winning actor/Grammy-winning singer Jamie Foxx added his thoughts under the post as well.

Jamie Foxx wrote:

That is completely unfair @bensimmons has a family this man has people that love him and this man just plays basketball but to be dragged through the mud like this is unfair…. and why is it @stephenasmith you only go at basketball players… You [are] completely mute when it comes to the Tom Bradys [and] the Aaron Rodgers of the world… You get where I’m going… stop it bruh it’s out of bounds.

Ben Simmons reportedly suffered a herniated disk in his lower back that prevented him from returning to the court. He also expressed concerns about mental readiness. The Celtics defeated the Nets 116-112 on Monday, sweeping the Brooklyn team in the best-of-seven series.

Jamal Edwards Died Holding His Mother’s Hand After “Sudden” Cardiac Arrest

Jamal Edwards spent his last moments surrounded by his mother and sister after suffering a sudden cardiac arrest in February.

The founder of the U.K. Hip-Hop platform SBTV, Jamal Edwards played an instrumental role in launching the careers of artists including Stormzy, Ed Sheeran, and Dave. His mother has spoken about his death for the first time since his passing.

“I was with him and his sister was with us. We were all at home,” the music entrepreneur’s mother, Brenda Edwards revealed during an interview with one of her fellow Loose Women” talk show panelists.

“It was sudden and it was unexpected, and he went into a cardiac arrest and then he passed with me holding his hand. So… I get a little bit of comfort from knowing I was with him,” she added.

She also takes comfort from speaking to her son and greets him daily. “I wake up every morning and there’s all his photos still obviously in the house, and I look at him and I say ‘Good morning, baby’, and I say ‘Good night, baby’. And I think doing that is what’s keeping me going.”

The news that Jamal Edwards had died suddenly on February 20, aged 31, rocked the U.K. music industry. Prince Charles and former prime minister David Cameron were among those who paid tribute to the U.K. music pioneer after his tragic passing.

Jamal Edwards was an ambassador for Prince Charles’s charity, the Prince’s Trust, which helps young people set up their own businesses. He was also awarded an MBE in 2015 from Queen Elizabeth for services to music through his SBTV platform.

The Jamal Edwards Self Belief Trust

His mother revealed she will continue her son’s legacy and is launching the Jamal Edwards Self Belief Trust in his honor. “Jamal was all about empowering young people,” she said. The trust aims to set up an academy for 16-21-year-olds with internship opportunities to teach them life skills. They also have plans for a homeless sanctuary.

Chris Brown is launching a brand new NFT collection that aims to empower Black creatives in the NFT space.

Breezy extends his place in the metaverse with a new streetwear collection in collaboration with John Dean, founder of L.A.-based label Renowned. The pair co-designed a range to coincide with the NFT release.

“We believe that Web3 has the potential to correct a lot of issues that exist in the real world. Web3 & NFT’s will allow creatives to actually profit from their creations while still owning their narrative,” Dean said in a press release.

Chris Brown and John Dean worked with an all-Black creative team of web developers and 3D designers. Their partners in the venture are BlackNFTArt, an online media company. They will provide 111 free Auracles NFTs to Black people trying to enter the NFT space.

“BlackNFTArt is a group of people that came together to make sure Black art is put first and recognized with new technologies,” Dean said. “We’re introducing people who are somewhat skeptical to NFTs to participate at no cost. Typically, to get in the game you have to get a coin. I think it’s really important to empower people and take that risk away. We’re providing that education on wallets and how to keep it safe and saying: ‘Here is the NFT and you can sell it or keep it. It’s your choice.’ It’s all about that education and building.”

He added, “As a culture, we’re invested in [Takashi] Murakami, Kaws and hyped cultural items, and Chris is a collector of Supreme and Be@rbrick,” said Dean. “We consume this culture and help popularize it, but we don’t often profit off of the culture we helped create.”

Chris Brown is expected to launch the “The Auracles” NFT collection and physical streetwear pieces on May 10.

Inas X Is The “Trap Princess Jasmine” In “Wet”

Inas X is the definition of unapologetic, and that’s exactly the energy she brings in all her music and visuals. Beyond that, the Los Angeles-based, New York-bred recording artist has been putting in work, constantly in the studio, shooting, maintaining her peace, all while living her best life.

https://youtu.be/pOeG5D4ncRA

Now just 3 weeks after the release of her “Lick” visual, Inas returns with her newest record and visual for “Wet.” Also directed by Nimi Hendrix, “Wet” sees Inas X channeling her alter ego: the Trap Princess Jasmine. Being a beautiful Middle Eastern Girl, it’s only right she pays homage to the Middle Eastern Disney princess. Plus, the music industry brings all sides of her: from her soft, loving personality to her hard-hitting, trap energy and aura that does not go unnoticed.

Speaking on the song, Inas X states that “Wet” is self-explanatory. She explains, “Unapologetic af. It’s not my side that wants to fall in love. It’s my side that realized life has different plans and money and power brings respect so that way, I’ll take the success and money. I’ll build my own legacy. This movie isn’t about Aladdin, it’s about The Trap Princess. Life ain’t sweet but I am so I’ll make the worst of situations sweet. And I’ve been through the worst and made it look sweet so this is for me and for those who connect with that.”

“Wet” is for all the females around the world to channel their inner confidence and beauty, reminding them that they can also do anything they set their minds to. Inas’ last words: “trap it out, thug it out, make your money, build your legacy, get yours!!”

Look out for her forthcoming album, The Trap Princess Jasmine, coming this summer.

Bhad Bhabie Shows Alleged Receipts To Prove $50 Million OnlyFans Earnings Claim

Bhad Bhabie has come up with some evidence to back up her claims that she made over $50 million on Onlyfans.

Danielle “Bhad Bhabie” Bregoli caught a ton of backlash from doubters when she mentioned her huge earnings during a recent Instagram Live. The rapper was attempting to distance herself from her “Cash Me Outside” viral moment on the Dr. Phil show back in 2016.

“It’s not something that I’m just, ‘Oh, yes, I’m so in love with being the girl that got famous for being on Dr. Phil and saying some crazy s###.’ No, that’s not how I feel,” she explained.

“Call me the youngest female of the decade to go platinum. Call me s### like that. Like, there’s way more things,” she continued. “Call me the ‘Gucci Flip Flops’ girl, the ‘Hi, B####” girl, the girl who got a f###### million-dollar makeup deal, the girl who made over f###### $50 million on OnlyFans. Call me whatever you want. When you try to find a way to be annoying about something, it’s just kind of weird.”

However, it seems as though not everyone believed Bhad Bhabie, so she had to come with receipts. The 19-year-old took to Instagram on Monday (Apr. 25), sharing a screenshot of her alleged earnings from the paid subscription platform. “Go cry about it b####,” she penned in the caption while also thanking Scoop Agency Partners.

If the figures are real, the teen pocketed almost $53 million gross, reportedly netting around $43 million once fees are deducted.

Bhad Bhabie launched her OnlyFans account last year, just days after her 18th birthday on March 18. Within six hours of going live, the teenager racked up $1 million, breaking a record on the platform.

“We’re breaking the internet I swear to god,” Bhad Bhabie foreshadowed in one of her first OnlyFans posts.

Antonio Brown Reveals Next Project Will Be Athletes Only Rap Album

Antonio Brown dropped his debut album last week and is already planning his next project. However, the former Tampa Bay Buccaneers wideout revealed the follow-up to Paradigm will be a little different from its predecessor.

The athlete turned rapper launched Paradigm last week (Ap. 19) with a listening party at the Lemonnade dispensary in Van Nuys, California. While that project features the likes of Fivio Foreign, DaBaby, Young Thug, and Keyshia Cole, Antonio Brown revealed the next album “has got to be with all athletes.”

Although he didn’t name any of the athletes he would like to see rapping on his next project, he’s not limiting the field to football players. “We want to give every athlete a chance to be creative,” Antonio Brown told TMZ. “NBA, baseball,” and “football players,” including college players, are in contention.

“We just want to give premier athletes the opportunity to express themselves, be themselves. I know a lot of players that do it on their own that may not put it out,” Brown added.

When asked if he considers himself in a similar position to Shaquille O’Neal, who toyed with a rap career Antonio Brown agreed.

“Absolutely, Shaq was the only athlete that made a successful album that actually went platinum,” Brown said. “And he still was a great player. He changed the fact of athletes being one-dimensional.”

Antonio Brown also explained he wants his music to “impact future superheroes” and to inspire athletes outside of their sporting achievements. “Paradigm is all about switching your lanes up,” he said, adding he wants to help people achieve their best.

Musician Money Maj Rises to the Top of the Music Scene

For most people, choosing a career to pursue requires careful deliberation and decision-making. After all, the profession a person selects will have a significant impact on their life. However, for up-and-coming musician Money Maj, quite the opposite happened.

The singer-songwriter from Detroit originally released his music purely as a hobby. But his music quickly gained traction, and the young man started getting invitations from professionals in the industry. He received calls from radio hosts, record labels, engineers, and managers about his music.

On top of that, he was asked to be featured on the tracks of more prominent artists. These incredible milestones eventually convinced Money Maj to level up his passion and pursue a career in music. Despite only starting out as a hobby, Money Maj is serious about his craft and creating great music.

He started uploading his work, such as “Bonnie & Swipe” on various streaming platforms like Spotify, YouTube Music, and Apple Music. His latest single, “Box and Papers” was released last June. The single has received stellar reviews and feedback from fans and music enthusiasts alike, with many praising his ability to create one-of-a-kind melodies and lyrics.

What makes the musician stand out from the competition is his commitment to authenticity. All of his songs are based on his personal experiences and the things that happened in his life. He even shared that he uses melodies and lyrics as a therapeutic way to express his emotions.

Aside from that, Money Maj loves to experiment and does not stay in just one lane. He is constantly exploring different genres, techniques, and styles. As he has perfectly summed up, “Honestly, music is just a creative way to get all of your feelings out, so as long as I think everything sounds good while I’m making it, I’m all in. There are definitely people that would have never found my music if I stayed in the same lane.”

What motivates the singer to continue is the support of his fans. His day is made when he reads their messages of encouragement—knowing that many people are inspired by his music fuels his dedication to putting out more songs. In addition, he loves having the opportunity to work alongside his friends, who are also part of the music industry.

Money Maj is undeniably a talented individual with a lot of expertise. He believes that there is no limit to what he can achieve, and he plans to expand his horizon as his career grows.

In the future, he sees himself accomplishing his goal of inspiring more people through his music. Furthermore, he aims to become a celebrated artist worldwide.

Kool G Rap Mounts Comeback With NEMS, AZ, Domingo, Sean Price And Others!

Kool G Rap is one of the greatest rappers of all time. And now the legendary Corona, Queens MC is mounting his comeback.

The effort is being helmed by legendary producer Domingo, whose credits span decades with the likes of KRS-One, Big Pun, Canibus and numerous others. They have come together to craft a new album that is certain to get the goat back in his proper position.

Our sources tell me that G Rap has been in the lab over the last several months working on the album, hopping in the studio with other legends and perfecting the effort. So far, we know about NEMS, AZ, Sean Price and more than are still a “secret.”

On top of that, he is being supported by the The National Hip-Hop Museum, a place that is known to support the legends of the culture. This place, located in Washington DC, has honored rap legends for years. Most recently they paid homage to Pete Rock, Rakim, Nice-N-Smooth, Kid Capri, Kool Moe Dee and others. They have strong affiliations with the Sugarhill Gang, Das EFX, Grand Master Caz and several others.

Anyway, this is all about Kool G Rap. He is in the pantheon of great lyricists and has impacted the game in ways we can only imagine.

Our own Chuck “Jigsaw” Creekmur was actually in the studio with G Rap and spoke about his legacy. Check out his comments:

Megan Thee Stallion Says Tory Lanez Offered Her $1 Million In Hush Money!

Megan Thee Stallion is taking her legal fight against Tory Lanez to the highest levels.

She now charges that the Canadian rapper offered her $1 million to be quiet after allegedly shooting her in her pretty foot. This is the first time Meg has done a TV interview and she did it with the biggest – Gayle King. As you know, King interviews tend to lead to convictions.

The Meg said Tory apologized and then put up the bread.

“He’s [like], `I’m so sorry. Please don’t tell nobody. I’ll give y’all a million dollars if y’all don’t say nothing,”‘ she said of the aftermath of the shooting. “And I’m like, `What are you talking about?’ Like, `Why are you offering me money right now?’ Help me. Like, and if you’re sorry, just help me!”

This all started in pure fun.

They were all at Kylie Jenner’s house and Megan wanted to leave. However, her former friend, Kelsey Harris and Tory Lanez wanted to stay. They were here with security but that didn’t help temper the matter. They got into an argument, allegedly, and Megan got out of the car. They convinced her – ALLEGEDLY – to get back in the car, but the fighting continued.

She said, “The arguing in the car is getting worse, and I don’t wanna be in this car no more because I see it’s getting crazy.”

“This was one of those times where things shouldn’t have gone this insane, she said. “He is standing up over the window, shooting. I didn’t even want to move. I didn’t want to move too quick. … I was really scared because I had never been shot at before.”

AND THERE YA GO!

Tory is under a gag order. But when they get to court, we’ll see.

As weI have reported before, Tory and his team are confident that they will beat the case. Not only does he say he didn’t do it, but they say that they have evidence and forensics to support it.

Time will tell.

Ice Cube Asks Elon Musk For Help

Ice Cube is an interesting one.

The one time pro-Black radical rapper is now asking for help of Elon Musk. Now, this was sent to me from somebody. I was unaware of all the nuance associated with Musky. One thing I do know is he is already championing “free speech.” That is basically saying “Trump will be out of Twitter jail soon.” Now, Musk has not been some sort of Trumper, but I do know that he wants to be the most powerful person on Earth. With that, having this power over somebody like Trump, actually empowers him regardless of his politics.

So, there’s Ice Cube. At one point, it seemed like Cube was getting super cozy with The Donald. I clearly cannot ascertain what that means now, but I guess he has some buddies in those spaces. I do not believe Cube is shadow banned. This post below got 131k LIKES AND GROWING. That’s a LOT.

Nevertheless, this is about Power. It could be about money too. But it is definitely about power and influence. That sort of power and influence is unparalleled. Black people are nervous. And for good reason. Twitter and other social media outlets have been used to fk with us. And they have been used against us in every way.

Oh…if you have been under a rock, Elon Musk and his investment buds bought Twitter for $44 Billion smackeroos! So…Cube got a way back.

I dunno though. Ice-T is really talkative and he does not have any shadow ban. Oh well!
