Jim Jones’ mother has addressed the backlash around her baby boy saying that she tongue kissed her son when he was a boy.
She says it’s not what you think.
Everything seems to have went left, after El Capo shared on a recent interview with Angela Yee on her Lip Service podcast that his mother taught him how to tongue kiss.
When asked, what were the instructions that she gave him, Jim Jones replied, “There wasn’t no instructions, she showed me with her mouth.”
Yee responded in disgust, “she kissed you?” And the “We Fly High” rapper quipped, “That’s my mother, what do you mean?”
Nancy Jones, aka Mama Jones, responded to the revelation on DJ Dior Cartel’s Instagram Live.
“Everybody needs to understand, you’re taking it wrong. I am not a nasty mother,” she said.
“All I am is a mother that was teaching my son exactly how to survive and how to actually be able to deal with a woman,” she continued. “And, for their information, it wasn’t no tonguing down. It was a way of showing you how to tongue. He licked out his tongue, I licked out my tongue, that was that. Wasn’t no mouth-to-mouth resuscitation…It wasn’t like that.”
Sharing why she did it, Mama Jones said, “It’s all about my son growing up and me as a young mother showing her son how to do, and deal with life with the young girls ’cause he’s a nice, handsome-looking guy.”
“I taught him all about sex,” she added. “And trust me, everybody, it wasn’t about no sex. Just show him how what he gotta do.”
The man wanted for the murder of revered rapper Young Dolph is planning to turn himself in next week.
On January 5th, U.S. Marshals announced that Justin Johnson was wanted for first-degree murder due to his alleged involvement in the rapper’s untimely death.
The U.S. Marshals Two Rivers Violent Fugitive Task Force and the Memphis Police Department launched an extensive search for Johnson, who has ties to organized criminal gangs.
The cops believe Johnson, 23, was one of two gunmen who shot Young Dolph on November 17th, 2021, as he shopped in a local bakery, Makeda’s Homemade Cookies.
Justin Johnson, who raps under the moniker StraightDrop, is charged with first-degree murder. Today (January 8th), Johnson announced he was planning to turn himself in, and proclaimed his innocence.
“Turning myself in Monday @201,” Johnson said through his Instagram account. “I’m innocent. Ill be back sooner than you can blink.”
Johnson’s “plan” to turn himself in on Monday does not take the heat off of him. There is still a massive manhunt underway to capture him.
Florida rapper Syko Bob has been arrested for driving under the influence, carrying a concealed firearm, possession of marijuana, possession of a controlled substance without a prescription, and possession of a weapon by a felon.
The 28-year-old was knocked with the five charges by law enforcement on Wednesday, January 5th. He is already out of jail.
When Twitter user Bi**********@***il.com and a possible fan asked the question, “Syk in prison?” on social media, the “Leave Him Right Na” rapper replied with a smart remark, “Naw in ya mama guts.”
AllHipHop.com reported that the attack on the Sniper Gang member and two other associates happened in broad daylight in a busy intersection in Lauderhill, Florida. Shooters in a black BMW opened fire on their vehicle on April 26th, around 3:00 p.m.
The driver of Syko Bob’s vehicle sped up and struck several vehicles in an attempt to get away. Someone from Syko Bob’s car fired back, causing the BMW to crash into a van.
The occupants of both vehicles abandoned the scene and fled. Syko Bob and his crew were taken to the hospital and treated for minor injuries.

Hailing from New York and joining Thug’s YSL imprint speaks volumes in itself. T-Shyne is carving his own unique lane when it comes to sound, melody, lyrics, and everything in between. Now, the rising star is excited as ever to be releasing his forthcoming album titled Confetti Nights, executive produced by Young Thug and NBA icon Kevin Durant. The project is spearheaded by lead single “30 For 30,” which parallels T-Shyne’s music career to a basketball player’s trajectory from high school to the big leagues.
AllHipHop: How you been since the last time we chatted?
T-Shyne: Man, I’ve been great. Just been working on the project, finally happy it’s about to come out. [laughs] This is my first official release project-wise with YSL. You know the Covid s### and all that stuff..
AllHipHop: How long has Confetti Nights been in the works for?
T-Shyne: Sheesh, it’s been like 2 years now. But to be real, a lot of those songs that I did back then, I changed by now anyways. I got better as the time grew. I feel I was making better music. Just listening to it with Thug and KD and going over the songs, I figured the ones we picked out were the best ones anyways. But there a couple from a few years ago.
AllHipHop: What’s the meaning behind the title?
T-Shyne: It’s that championship mentality. That feeling, that Mamba mentality. The story of Confetti Nights goes from a rookie going through the seasons. At first, he might not get no playing time. Eventually, you start doing your thing and then go on to win championships. The image I originally wanted for the cover was this picture of Kobe, it’s him with his hands up and all the confetti falling down. Rest in peace Kobe.
AllHipHop: How did Kobe Bryant inspire you?
T-Shyne: That’s my favorite basketball player, for sure. Growing up as a kid, he made me love the Lakers. To this day, I’m a Lakers fan.
AllHipHop: What was your reaction when he passed? So tragic.
T-Shyne: S###, that was hard. That one, I really shed tears that day. That was hard. I remember the whole day, that s### was sad.
AllHipHop: Is Confetti Nights you winning the championship, and releasing the album?
T-Shyne: Yeah. It’s going through it and finally, I made it to this point where I can put out this type of body of work. I can shoot videos like I want, just do everything I want to do. Just that feeling of winning.
AllHipHop: Speaking of, how did you and Kevin Durant tap in?
T-Shyne: We had started chatting, we were talking through Instagram at first. He told me he f##### with me, I told him I f##### with him.
AllHipHop: Who hit who?
T-Shyne: To be honest I don’t know, but it had to do with my music. As we started talking more and being more cool, I approached him with the idea of being a part of the project and he was down. I really wanted him at first to just really hear it, then he became executive producer. That’s the homie though, shout out KD.
AllHipHop: Y’all really met off Instagram?
T-Shyne: Originally yeah, then we met for the first time in-person at Rolling Loud New York. It was 3 years ago now probably?
AllHipHop: That’s so dope to me, one of the best basketball players is executive producing your project?
T-Shyne: Definitely MVP this year. He should be, in my opinion.
AllHipHop: What was the creative process? What did he add to the project?
T-Shyne: KD is really a music head for sure. He really listens to everything, so he got a real music ear. It wasn’t just “yo, be executive producer.” He really came to the studio, he really is listening to these songs. Really saying like “Oh I like this one” or “this is my favorite,” and then explaining to me why he likes them. It was dope having him in there and having his opinion, then Thug too. Thug is also executive producing it, so it’s a good mix of both.
AllHipHop: What did Thug say about the project?
T-Shyne: Oh yeah, he’s saying this is one of the ones for sure. He’s excited, I’m excited. The features are dope, we got some good people on there. I’m definitely, definitely excited.
AllHipHop: What are the features? Do we know yet?
T-Shyne: Not yet. I can’t really… you know? There’s the obvious ones like Thug and Gunna, so I can say that. But there’s a couple different ones, something out of left field. Something you probably wouldn’t expect from me. Some good s### on there for sure.
AllHipHop: Is “Moncler” with Thug on there?
T-Shyne: No, “Moncler” is not on there. It’s another song with Thug called “Fighting Demons.” It’s gonna be crazy for sure.
AllHipHop: What’s the energy with Thug in the studio?
T-Shyne: Man, nobody creates like him. Fastest worker. Not only does he work fast, but he’s saying something too. It’s not like “Oh, I just made a song in 2 seconds and it’s trash.” Everything he does, he’s damn near good at everything. And he’s funny as hell, people don’t know that. Some people probably know that a little bit now, watching that Chillin Island s### that just dropped.
AllHipHop: What’s that?
T-Shyne: It’s this HBO special where they bring celebrities into nature. S###’s funny. Thug is hilarious.
AllHipHop: Being from New York, who influenced you? I feel like YSL is so trap-heavy.
T-Shyne: Yeah, YSL is definitely a lot of trap, but we all can do different things. If you listen to Thug, he could go so many different lanes. Gunna, Strick, [Lil] Keed, really everybody. But New York, some influences growing up from New York were definitely Biggie, Jay-Z, Nas, Dipset. That’s who I grew up listening to from New York.
AllHipHop: Best memory from creating this project with them?
T-Shyne: Just doing the songs, then seeing people’s reaction like when I play it. Really seeing their face like “damn, you really talking, you saying something.” It’s not a whole bunch of anything, it’s really cohesive. It’s their reaction to the music and hearing the whole project.
AllHipHop: Can you bring us back to when you made “30 for 30”?
T-Shyne: We were out at Malibu, I was on some basketball s### really. Felt like I wanted to do some championship sounding s###. Shout out to Nick Papz, he did “That Go!” for me, Meek, and Thug. Shout out to him, I told him to send me some championship vibes sounding s###. He sent that and right away I’m like “oh hell yeah, this is it right here.” I started going in. “30 for 30,” that’s a vibe for sure.
AllHipHop: What’s your favorite 30 for 30?
T-Shyne: Ooh, damn. l. I gotta think about that, there’s a lot of them. I don’t want to say The Last Dance ‘cause that’s too obvious. For mine, I’d have to say the Lakers versus the Celtics. It’s their rivalry. Magic and Bird.
AllHipHop: Did you used to hoop?
T-Shyne: Yeah. In high school, I hooped a little bit too. I still do sometimes with the homies, but not as much anymore because of music, naturally. Especially with Covid, it’s hard to get 5 on 5 games.
AllHipHop: How was it playing a basketball star in a music video? What was the best memory?
T-Shyne: It was a vibe. I love basketball so with “30 for 30,” I’m recreating the Allen Iverson interview, then the Allen Iverson crossover. It was fun. It was cool doing a memory of one of my favorite basketball players.
AllHipHop: Dang, has AI seen it?
T-Shyne: Oh no. I gotta get it to AI. I love AI, that’s one of my favorite basketball players for sure.
AllHipHop: How does Confetti Nights compare to your last project, The Immaculate?
T-Shyne: The growth is crazy. I’ve been doing so much more. The bars are there, the melodies are there. The songs, the hooks, everything, it’s a vibe. It’s a good vibe. It flows, like a whole story.
AllHipHop: How many tracks are on there?
T-Shyne: Right now, I’m at 16. I might make it shorter though.
AllHipHop: Is that something that Thug or Kevin would give input on?
T-Shyne: Yeah, they’ve heard it so they like where it’s at. I just also think maybe shortening it could be cool too. I be going back and forth on that.
AllHipHop: One thing you want fans to get from the project?
T-Shyne: This will be their first time to really understand me and who I am; it’s a real deep project. I talk about my family, I talk about stuff with my mom. I want them to take away that this is who I am. There’s no cap, everything is real that I’m talking about.
AllHipHop: We gotta talk about “Stressed,” because I loved hearing you on Punk.
T-Shyne: “Stressed” is crazy because that song originally was intended for On the Run, that EP that Thug put out in 2018. We did it then, it was supposed to be the first song but Cole wasn’t on it yet. It was supposed to be the first song on On the Run, it had a sample and we didn’t clear it time so we had to scrap it.
Then we went on tour with J. Cole, we did some sessions in New York with him. When we did the session, he heard that song and said “oh, I want to get on this one.” So he got on it, killed it. I’m still like damn, I hope this s### comes out. That was 2020 when he got on it. In the new one, he did some new things on there. Slightly changed a couple things, but that song has been around a little bit. It’s good that it finally came out. [laughs]
AllHipHop: What was your reaction when you heard it was Cole’s verse on there?
T-Shyne: Oh my god, I was so hyped. Bro… ‘cause we did it in New York, when he originally did it. The beat was different and everything so hearing it now complete is amazing. I’m happy that it actually came out and I got to have a verse like that on there.
AllHipHop: Given how great of a reception Punk received, how was it for you just being on the second track on the project?
T-Shyne: The first song is “Die Slow” with Strick, it’s dope being back to back. It’s me and Strick, me and Strick literally came into this s### together. We’ve been with Thug together, and we’ve been living with each other this whole time. This whole trip. Seeing my name and his name right next to each other, back to back on Thug’s album, it showed we made it to this point. We’re finally able to do this, and to do it with your brother is a great feeling. They’re both my brothers, so it’s amazing.
AllHipHop: How was the Strick Land listening?
T-Shyne: Oh man, I love Strick Land. The album’s crazy, the party was dope. So many people came out for that, that s### was turnt up. He had Rocky there, Southside, Metro, a whole bunch of people came out for that. That was dope.
AllHipHop: You gonna have a Confetti Nights, basketball-themed listening party?
T-Shyne: 100%. 100%, We gonna go crazy with the Confetti Nights album release.
AllHipHop: Bring us back when you made “That Go!”, because it’s one of my favorite songs.
T-Shyne: “That Go!” was made during Covid. Basically me, Thug, and Meek, we were playing Call of Duty during the quarantine. ‘Cause Me and Thug were playing and one day he says, “I’ma invite Meek into the game.” Meek came, so we all started talking like that. We started playing the game, then talking. Some days, Thug isn’t online but me and Meek play. Naturally, we built a relationship through there. I said “I need to have you on something for the compilation,” and he was like “I’m down.” Something was going on with his voice so he ended up sending me “That Go!,” just his little intro part. I heard it like “this s###’s hard as hell!” I did the hook, called him back on Facetime. Thug heard it, he got on it. “That Go!’ That’s one of them ones for sure.
AllHipHop: How was it shooting music video?
T-Shyne: We still didn’t even technically drop the official music video, but we shot it! The visualizer looks like a music video, but it was dope. The whole time, we did the video shoot on a jet. We had the jet. We took a jet from Atlanta to LA, then we just shot it. [laughs]
AllHipHop: How easy is it for you to record?
T-Shyne: Same type of process. Me, Thug, Strick, Gunna, all of us have a similar process with recording. We all make music pretty fast.
AllHipHop: You don’t write nothing?
T-Shyne: Nah, we just go in. I hear the beat and if the beat’s fire, then thoughts will come. I always believe the best melodies come off the top of my head, rather than trying to write. I can’t write a melody, I just go like that.
AllHipHop: Who do you listen to for inspiration?
T-Shyne: Besides the gang? I really like Adele. I f### with Adele, she’s dope. I hope one day I get to work with her. I like to listen to other things besides straight rap. I always say Adele right now because that’s somebody I want to work with. Speaking it into existence.
AllHipHop: How are those Nets games?
T-Shyne: Oh man, dope. Shoutout to KD and James Harden, they always show love. Anytime I’m in the city, I pull up on them or they pull up on me. It’s a vibe, those are the bros for sure.
AllHipHop: What are those convos like?
T-Shyne: Man, we be talking about so much. To be real, with KD, we talk about a lot of different things. In the studio, we’ll start talking about funny s###. Deep s###, just the homies. So many different thoughts. It’s dope hearing his thoughts on different things. I love that he’s back and balling the way he’s balling, going crazy.
AllHipHop: We’re in 2020, any New Year’s resolutions?
T-Shyne: [whiteleys] Just keep this s### going man. Do better than I did last year, make sure my fam in a better place than they were in last year.
AllHipHop: Any last words?
T-Shyne: YSL the biggest. We going crazy all 2022. Slatt!

Drill rapper Bizzy Banks has been arrested on multiple charges.
According to the Daily Voice, the 23-year-old artist was apprehended in a SWAT team raid at his apartment in Hackensack, New Jersey on Friday morning.
Bizzy Banks, whose real name is Majesty Blessed Moses, was booked on drug, weapons and money laundering charges. Police found more than two pounds of marijuana, a gun loaded with hollow-point bullets and $2,750 at his home.
The Hackensack Police Department’s investigation was led by Detectives Mark Carrillo and Sergio Raneli as well as Detective Sgt. John Dalton. The Bergen County Regional SWAT team and New York Police Department also provided assistance.
Bizzy Banks was locked up at the Bergen County Jail. He’s awaiting his first court appearance at the Central Judicial Processing Court in Hackensack.
The Brooklyn native is currently signed to Atlantic Records. He appeared on Pop Smoke’s second posthumous album Faith, which featured a remix of Bizzy Banks’ track “30.”
His Pop Smoke-assisted version of “30” became his first song to crack the Billboard Hot 100. The cut debuted at No. 97 on the chart.
Bizzy Banks has multiple videos with over a million views on YouTube. His latest project, Same Energy, was released in July 2021.
Drakeo The Ruler’s mother has reportedly asked a court for access to his assets to arrange a proper funeral.
According to documents obtained by TMZ, Darrylene Corniel is seeking to use funds from his estate to cover the costs of his funeral. Drakeo The Ruler’s mother is unable to do so without a court order.
The late rapper’s mother says the funeral will cost just under $52,000. Her court filing suggests her son had assets of at least $2 million at the time of his death.
In the court documents, Darrylene Corniel notes she wants to lay her son to rest with “dignity, style and grace.” She is hoping to gain access to the estate’s funds soon so she can find a funeral home with availability.
Drakeo The Ruler, whose real name was Darrell Caldwell, was fatally stabbed in December. He was attacked backstage at the Once Upon a Time in L.A. festival, which was held at the Banc of California Stadium in his hometown of Los Angeles.
An investigation into Drakeo The Ruler’s death has stalled. Law enforcement sources told TMZ that witnesses are refusing to cooperate.

Three men have been sentenced to life in prison for the murder of Ahmaud Arbery.
Judge Timothy Walmsley sentenced Travis McMichael and his father Gregory McMichael to life in prison without the possibility of parole on Friday (January 7).
William “Roddie” Bryan was sentenced to life in prison with the possibility of parole. He will be eligible for parole after 30 years behind bars.
Before issuing the sentences, Judge Walmsley made the court sit in silence for one minute. He noted it was just a fraction of the time that Ahmaud Arbery was running for his life.
“In this case, I think many people are seeking closure,” Judge Walmsley said. “The mother, the father, the community, and maybe even parts of the nation, but closure is hard to define and is a granular concept. It’s seen differently by all depending on their perspective and the prism of your lives.”
He added, “Instead of closure, maybe it would be best to see today’s proceeding as an exercise in accountability. We are all accountable for our own actions. Today demonstrates that everybody is accountable to the rule of law. Taking the law into your own hands is a dangerous endeavor.”
Multiple members of Ahmaud Arbery’s family spoke at the sentencing on Friday. His mother Wanda Cooper-Jones called for her son’s killers to receive no leniency.
“Your honor, these men have chosen to lie and attack my son and his surviving family,” she said. “They each have no remorse and do not deserve any leniency. This wasn’t a case of mistaken identity or mistaken fact. They chose to target my son because they didn’t want him in their community.”
She continued, “They chose to treat him differently than other people who frequently visited their community. And when they couldn’t sufficiently scare him or intimidate him, they killed him.”
Grandmaster Jay of the NFAC will be indelibly be linked to the Arbery case. Arbery’s murder lead to the formation of The Not F##king Around Coalition (NFAC), the largest Black militia in the United States. They convened at the scene of the murder to protect the Arbery family and to deter further acts of domestic terror.
Grandmaster Jay, real name John Johnson, said that he was pleased with the three life sentences.
I am pleased at the sentencing and the justifications given for the sentencing of all three killers of our brother Ahmaud,” Grandmaster Jay told AllHipHop exclusively.
He also that that justice should be normalized in the American justice system.
“This should be the norm. Not the end result of us having to arm ourselves to get equal justice in America,” he continued.
Last November, the McMichaels and Bryan were found guilty of murdering Ahmaud Arbery.

Hip-Hop suffered a great loss when Jessie D of the Force MD’s passed away.
Tributes poured in after the Force MD’s announced the founding member’s death on Tuesday (January 4). Questlove and DJ Mister Cee were among the notable figures who paid their respects to Jessie D on social media.
But a pioneering artist’s life and career cannot be summed up in an Instagram and Twitter post. That’s why AllHipHop connected with the surviving members of the Force MD’s for an in-depth conversation about the late Jessie D.

Queen Key: Period. Ay Ice Cube, you heard that? See, I’m telling you Ice Cube. You gotta put me in the new one. But Keybo is lit. It’s lit.
AllHipHop: Do you remember the first time you watched Friday?
Queen Key: Damn, I know me and my cousin used to watch that s### every day. Every day. Over the summer, we was watching it everyday.
AllHipHop: I can’t believe you had triplets!
Queen Key: Girl, I’m shocked my g###### self. My body really had triplets and acts like nothing happened.
AllHipHop: How’d it feel having 3 human beings in your stomach?
Queen Key: I used to say I got 4 hearts, because I literally had four hearts. That’s what it felt like. I had 4 hearts, no b#######. I think it’s still gonna take some time, probably in 5 years it’s gonna really sink in in my brain like whoa. I was relieved though. When I had them, I just counted them. Made sure it was 3, and passed out. [laughs]
AllHipHop: A huge part of this show is mental health. How are you doing?
Queen Key: I’m doing good. I’d think somebody with triplets, it’ll just be crazy. But nah, I’m doing good. I be chillin’ for the most part. Then my babies, they’re super cool. I love my babies.
AllHipHop: Going to read you a statistic, tell me your thoughts. Single parents, especially single mothers seem to experience increased levels of stress, anxiety and depression, face more socio-economic difficulties and lack of social support as compared to married couple families.
Queen Key: I think married people be stressed the f### out. You know what’s crazy? If I got married, I’d have 3 divorces. I’d have 3 marriages, because I just know me. I know me. At first I used to say I‘d only want to get married once, but nah. I know me. Because if I got married then I want that divorce, I’ma get that divorce. I’m not going to stay married because I’m married.
AllHipHop: My fear is one day, waking up and them not being in love with you anymore.
Queen Key: That’s cool though, because people got to understand life ain’t all about that. Just being in a damn relationship with one person, that’s deadass what life is not about. [laughs]
AllHipHop: What’s Queen Key’s type?
Queen Key: Honestly girl, I’ll be talking all day. I want to say physically I ain’t got no type, but then again I do. I ain’t trying to be shallow, but I like tall n*ggas for sure, and that’s crazy because I’m so short. Just tall. At this point, I need a m########### that’s gon’ shut the f### up. Gon’ shut the f### up and do what I say. [laughs] That’s my type, somebody who knows how to listen and I’ll take it from there.
AllHipHop: Is Queen Key dating?
Queen Key: No I’m not. Damn the last time I was on here, I said I had a husband in training. I told you, that’s them divorces I was talking about. I cut him off man, he was tweaking. He wasn’t listening, I don’t like all that. I don’t like people trying to change me. If you know how I am, don’t argue about how I am. What the f###. So being peaceful, just chillin’. Chillin’ with the babies. Focused on money and s###, my businesses.
AllHipHop: Talk about your businesses.
Queen Key: S###, everything’s prospering really. My music’s prospering, I’m starting to do, do you know about NFTs? I’m getting into NFTs. I did a music NFT, just the audio of the song. My brother made the beat. I’ma probably do a little collectables. I got a Queen S### cartoon. I’ma be doing s###. Keybo’s gonna be everywhere, shoutout to Ounces. Loud Burger lit. I seen the movie, I watched it like 10 times. [laughs]
AllHipHop: 10x?! Were you laughing?
Queen Key: Yup, I was cracking the f### up. I’m not dropping it till next year. Right now, I’m finishing up the soundtrack, then it’s pretty much done.
AllHipHop: How’s Queen Key the rapper compared to Queen Key the actress?
Queen Key: The b#### is a nightmare. I am f###### crazy as hell as an actress, for real. [sighs] Maybe because I’m acting, it be all the personalities. Damn! When I was on set, I was demanding as f###. We got the job done though. We were so lit. That s### reminded me of high school for real. We had fun for sure, but we definitely got the job done. All my music’s on the soundtrack, it’s gonna be a Loud Burger soundtrack.
AllHipHop: How does it feel to be doing all this for a living?
Queen Key: Girl, it’s amazing. It’s definitely hard work and dedication for sure. At the end of the day and the beginning of the day, it’s a blessing for sure because I’m doing all this s### that I made up. [laughs] Really.
AllHipHop: Talk about your new album All Eyez On Key, inspired by Tupac.
Queen Key:All Eyez On Key, it’s still coming. It’s going to come out around the time when my movie drops, ‘cause that’s the whole thing: the whole movie star s###. It was inspired by the All Eyez On Me movie too, not just the album.
AllHipHop: What does Tupac mean to you?
Queen Key: I love Tupac, he’s a Gemini like me. That’s what made me even look into him, ‘cause the whole Gemini thing. Once I started learning about horoscopes, I started connecting the dots, with who certain Geminis are. Damn, our name is Gem-ini. I started looking at who certain Geminis are, we really raw and special in a different way. A misunderstood kind of way.
AllHipHop: Favorite Tupac movie?
Queen Key: My favorite Tupac movie is Juice. I love Juice. Wow, I f###### forgot about this part of my life. My f###### senior year in high school, I started feeling like I was gonna be famous and s###. I went to the mall and this flier said “you got talent!” You gotta fill it out. I filled it out, then they called me. I had to do this audition at the mall. They put up a stage, it was crazy as f###. I basically put together a script and I used certain excerpts from Juice. I combined 5 different movies. Girl, the s###’s so f###### embarrassing. I lowkey did good but to watch it, that s###’s embarrassing. You know how it is when you watch s### you did back in the day. I memorized Bishop’s whole part, that was Tupac. I repeated it at the mall.
AllHipHop: So you been acting!
Queen Key: Yeah, I ain’t just randomly do this. That’s what I’m saying, I really actually got passion for s###. When I was a kid, I was saying I was gon’ do this.
AllHipHop: How does it feel to be doing it?
Queen Key: S###, it feels like I knew. I been knew. Shout out to God, shout out to all things great.
AllHipHop: What do you do for self-care?
Queen Key: S###, I love weed. Exotic weed, Keybo. It gotta be the gas. I pray. I be trying to protect my energy as much as possible.
AllHipHop: What’re you most excited for next?
Queen Key: I’m really excited for my movie s###, and to do more. I’m excited to do more. I just be moving. I like to outwork myself. Even my new s### to me be old. Even All Eyez On Key old to me, that’s how my brain is. Because at the end of the day, I already know All Eyez On Key exists so that means I need to know what’s next.
AllHipHop:Your Highness 3 has features from Polo G, G Herbo, Tay Money, Yung Baby Tate, Lil Zay Osama.
Queen Key: Shout out to all of them. It’s lit, I f### with how all of them rap and I f### with them as a person, so it’s lit.
AllHipHop: When you dropped, I saw both Polo and G Herbo posted your album. How’d it feel to have their support?
Queen Key: It felt like y’all n##### better. Nah just playing. It felt good to know that they’re real and genuine. I appreciated that because people be weird and fake. I appreciated that, they good in my book.
AllHipHop: Have you ever had a bad trip off edibles?
Queen Key: Oh my god, it’s these graham cracker nugget looking things. They good as f###. You see how that nug looks? They look like a nug, but you could bite the m########### and it’s a graham cracker. I had it 2 years ago. I only had a little jar of them, but the s### had me high for 3 days. I couldn’t f###### take it, I just wanted to not be high so f###### bad. So I can’t f### with them. Last time I ate them, I was on a plane going home. That’s a 4-hour flight, I didn’t give no f###. Fall asleep, but I can’t f### with them things. It’s sleepy high. When I be out here, the type of sleepy high I be is not even f###### funny. [laughs]
AllHipHop: Keybo needs to have its own edible!
Queen Key: That s### gonna knock a m########### out. It should be punch something, like fruit punch. That’s raw. Keybo gonna be in the movie. I’m just excited for Keybo. Damn, Keybo turnt.
AllHipHop: Before dropping Eat My P####, were you hesitant at all?
Queen Key: No, I was so excited. I was so excited and so inspired. I was inspired by me. Yes, I’m the first one that went down in f###### history. I was so happy that I was the one who did it. I thought it was funny too. I didn’t think about a m########### — if somebody gets mad, what the f###? I think that’s funny.
AllHipHop: Talk about the irony in getting pregnant with triplets.
Queen Key: That’s real funny right? Everything’s so funny. My life, oh my god. I would have a project called Eat My P####, then Eat My P#### Again, then get pregnant by triplets. That ain’t too far. It’s really like one two three.
AllHipHop: What’s up with the @keyplusthree vlogs? People are waiting!
Queen Key: I got hella Key +3 vlogs out, there’s a lot. It’s all the way from when I first found out I was pregnant up until a couple months ago. It’s a lot of episodes but it’s a lot more that I want to do with Key +3. I want to make some changes. My next episode, it’s some stuff I want to do differently. I want a theme song. I want it to be a little more structured, that’s all.
The babies, they finna get their model on. I’ma get them into modeling. I’ll try to wait till they get a little bit bigger, ‘cause I need to be able to communicate with them. If they was a baby, somebody could pinch them and walk away. I wouldn’t know what the f###…. now, I literally know their cries. Depending on the tone of their cry I can tell if they just fell, if they took something from each other. I really got them down to a tea.
AllHipHop: Did your motherly instinct just kick in?
Queen Key: Yeah naturally, then I’m super smart as f###. With both of them put together… I can’t believe I’m a mother. That’s crazy but you know what? I couldn’t even imagine me without the babies. It’s so funny.
AllHipHop: How’d it feel having Cardi B reposting your “BAP” remix?
Queen Key: That was right after, I’m talking about I just had my kids. My babies were a couple months old. That was so lit. I was so happy, I think I shed a tear. I was so happy she posted me, shout out to you Cardi forreal. I was so happy because I just had my babies, I rap, it’s just different. For one of the top female artists period: for her to f### with me, then f### with me on remixing her single, that was big for me. Yeah, I told y’all hoes. Y’all not on s### b####. I just dropped 3 and still you can’t stop me. It gave me some s### to talk about, so I really appreciate Cardi for that.
Los Angeles based artist KeeZY just dropped two new tracks simultaneously, “I Miss You” and “Still Got It.”
Best known for his versatile sound, both tracks are from KeeZY’s upcoming album that explores the range of his Hip-Hop, R&B, and pop influences. Having the ability to dabble across multiple genres while delivering masterful rhymes, smooth vocals, and relatable storytelling is what makes this rising artist stand out from the competition.
KeeZY states, “These two records are an exact representation of me and I believe showcase how diverse I am and hope to be. They are a preview into what’s to come. Columbus, Ohio native RichBoyDomo has always had a passion for music. This year, he’s planning on taking over in 2022 and sharing his music in a brand new way with his audience.
He’s inspired by how other influential artists such as Roddy Ricch use their art to impact millions of fans, and Domo has the same intention with his music.
Since he was young, he always knew that music was what he was supposed to do, then decided to pursue it seriously as a career about 4 years ago when he was released from prison.
His time in and out of jail stopped him from pursuing his dream at first, but he was able to rekindle his passion as soon as he got out and now, rap is his only hobby.
“All I do is record and stay in the studio,” he said. “Struggle don’t last forever, pain don’t last forever, I just want to motivate the trenches all around the world.”
He’s allowing his upcoming music to speak for itself.
“My music will create a big impact on the community and will save a lot of people’s lives.”
RichBoyDomo’s mission is to show people that bad circumstances don’t endure forever and that there is always a way out. RichBoyDomo’s quest is an inspiring endeavor as he prepares to debut his recordings this year.
This musician is gifted with a tremendous work ethic to back up his skill, in addition to his immense passion for music. He doesn’t blame himself for his numerous circumstances, and he looks forward to the future with optimism.
RichBoyDomo is convinced that his music will one day make him billions and that he will be able to provide a platform for struggling musicians. For the time being, there is no set release date for his singles, but he wants to assure fans that new music is definitely on the way.

Sidney Poitier, the first Black man to win an Academy Award for Best Actor, has died at the age of 94. According to news outlets in the Bahamas, where Poitier’s family hailed from, Minister of Foreign Affairs Fred Mitchell confirmed the actor’s passing on Friday.
Poitier entered the entertainment industry with a role in 1955’s “Blackboard Jungle,” followed by the film “A Raisin in the Sun” in 1961.
Two years later, starred alongside Tony Curtis in “The Defiant Ones,” with both stars receiving Academy Award nominations for Best Actor. In 1964, Poitier won the Oscar and Golden Globe for “Lilies of the Field,” playing a handyman helping a group of nuns build a chapel.
He also won acclaim for his performances in 1959’s “Porgy and Bess,” 1965’s “A Patch of Blue,” and broke ground with three films in 1967 which delved into issues of race – “To Sir, with Love,” “Guess Who’s Coming to Dinner,” and “In the Heat of the Night.”
Poitier starred in the 1975 movie “Let’s Do It Again” opposite Bill Cosby and Calvin Lockhart, who featured as a character named Biggie Smalls. The pair also starred in the movie “Uptown Saturday Night,” which was also the name of the popular debut hip-hop album by rap group Camp Lo.
After taking a break from Hollywood in the late ’70s and early ’80s, Poitier appeared in 1988’s “Shoot to Kill” and 1992’s “Sneakers.”
Among his accolades was an honorary knighthood from Queen Elizabeth II in 1974, the Presidential Medal of Freedom in 2009, and the Cecil B. DeMille Award at the Golden Globes in 1982.
Following the sad news, a number of Hollywood stars have taken to social media to pay tribute. “Sidney Poitier. What a landmark actor. One of a kind. What a beautiful, gracious, warm, genuinely regal man. RIP, Sir. With love,” wrote Jeffrey Wright, while Whoopi Goldberg added: “He showed us how to reach for the stars.”
“I’d have to say that maybe Uptown Saturday Night was the first movie I ever watched. (The trilogy of Uptown/Again/Piece of was a staple/steady diet in every 70s household),” Questlove wrote. “You already know I can spew paragraphs of what his activism represented especially in a time that his accolades were happening during the civil rights era—-but man this is more of a personal reflect because of the bonding his 70s movies did for my family & I.”
Cordae is set to let loose his sophomore album, From A Bird’s Eye View, on January 14. Before that LP lands next Friday, the Maryland-bred emcee presented a new loosie for his fans.
A video for Cordae’s “FABEV Freestyle (The Heart Pt 4)” hit YouTube last night. The Simon David and Travis Colbert-directed visuals feature the Atlantic recording artist roaming through Paris, France.
“I’ll reinsure what u already knew on January 14th. #FromaBirdsEyeView 🦅🦅👁,” wrote Cordae on Instagram. From A Bird’s Eye View is the follow-up to 2019’s Grammy-nominated The Lost Boy.
Cordae first began making waves in the music industry in 2018 by remixing Eminem’s “My Name Is” and responding to J. Cole’s “1985” with his own song “Old N#####.” Last year, Cordae presented Just Until…, a 4-track EP that featured Q-Tip and Young Thug.
Originally going by Entendre and later YBN Cordae, some of the Suitland native’s earliest work includes mixtapes such as I’m So Anxious and I’m So Anonymous. The Hi Level label owner eventually removed the YBN from his stage name after parting ways with the Young Boss N##### collective.
Kanye “Ye” West built an entertainment/business empire by becoming one of the most polarizing celebrities of the 21st century. West’s music, ventures, personal relationships, and political leanings have made headline news around the world.
“Kanye is the ultimate contrarian. Whatever people say he should do, he will do the exact opposite,” states Joshua Wright. The Trinity Washington University professor goes on to mention Ye’s highly-criticized comments about chattel slavery.
Wright adds, “For example, when the norm was for rappers to wear baggy clothes and talk about drugs, hustling, and gangsta stuff, he came out with the pink Polo, backpack, and loafers saying, ‘I’m so self-conscious.’ Then, when you fast-forward to the 2018 TMZ interview, and he’s wearing the MAGA hat and saying slavery is a choice, here is the contrarian again.”

Despite making countless divisive statements that alienated some of his supporters, Kanye West’s life story is also one that includes achieving financial success in America as a Black man. The Chicago native went from being a college dropout to being a pop culture icon and multi-billionaire.
“This book should be used as a case study to think about how we view this idea of Black identity in America, what it means to be Black, and what it means to be an exceptional Black person,” explains Joshua Wright. TheHoward University graduate reflects on his own success as an educator and host of NPR One’s Woke History podcast.
Joshua Wright says, “For any of us who are somewhat successful, there is always that challenge of figuring out should we have a responsibility to ourselves, to the Black community as a whole, or should we just focus on the world in general? Does moving to the suburbs, sending one’s kids to a private school, or marrying a white woman make one less Black? Do I need to marry a sister, give to Black causes and go to an HBCU?”
The enigmatic emcee known as Earl Sweatshirt is preparing to drop his next body of work. SICK! will arrive on January 14 via Tan Cressida/Warner Records.
Before SICK! lands next week, Earl Sweatshirt revealed the project’s full tracklist. The Los Angeles-raised Odd Future affiliate tapped Zelooperz and Armand Hammer for contributions to his upcoming fourth studio LP.
Earl Sweatshirt also dropped a new single titled “Titanic” on Friday. The Black Noi$e-produced track marks the third SICK! single after “2010” and “Tabula Rasa.”
“SICK! is my humble offering of 10 songs recorded in the wake of the worldwide coronavirus pandemic and its subsequent lockdowns,” explains Earl Sweatshirt. “Before the virus, I had been working on an album I named after a book I used to read with my mother (The People Could Fly).”
The 27-year-old rapper/producer continues, “Once the lockdowns hit, people couldn’t fly anymore. A wise man said art imitates life. People were sick. The People were angry and isolated and restless. I leaned into the chaos cause it was apparent that it wasn’t going anywhere.”

SICK! will also include production by The Alchemist. Sweatshirt added, “These songs are what happened when I would come up for air. Peace and love to Zelooperz the enigma, The Armand Hammer, and my good friends Alchemist and Black Noi$e. Peace and love to u.”
Earl Sweatshirt’s SICK! follows 2013’s Doris, 2015’s I Don’t Like S###, I Don’t Go Outside, and 2018’s Some Rap Songs. His catalog also contains mixtapes and EPs as well as features on projects by artists like Tyler, The Creator, Frank Ocean, and Mac Miller.
There have been some horrific moments throughout history. Humans have engaged in genocide, war atrocities, slavery, and systemic racism. However, according to Fat Joe, none of those things compare to snitching.
Fat Joe was a guest on the Big Boy’s Neighborhood radio show. The Bronx representative shared his opinion on individuals choosing to inform law enforcement about other people’s crimes.
“God bless me and God bless all of us, but to me, the worst thing you can do in the history of mankind is be a rat. The worst,” declared Fat Joe. “I just pray to God all the time, thank you man, that I never had to compromise my morals.”
The 51-year-old Hip Hop artist continued, “To me, that’s the ugliest thing for your kids to be walking around Earth and people are like, ‘Yo, his father is a rat. He put down some good people.’ You have to understand, when you tell, you destroy families.”
Atlanta native Gunna returned this week with his third studio album titled DS4Ever. One record on the project has garnered a lot of attention from social media users.
Fans seem to be interested in Gunna and Chloé’s new collaboration because of rumors the two music stars are dating. The 28-year-old rapper and the 23-year-old vocalist were spotted together at an Atlanta Hawks game in October.
The following month, Gunna denied he and Chloé are seeing each other romanticly. The 300 Entertainment recording artist toldBillboard, “We’re not dating. That was just like a date where you just go to the game and catch a vibe. But she’s my friend.”
Gunna also confirmed that he recorded a second song with the Chloe x Halle member. That collab will likely live on Chloé Bailey’s forthcoming debut solo studio album.
As for DS4Ever, Gunna also recruited Future, Young Thug, 21 Savage, Kodak Black, Lil Baby, G Herbo, Nechie, Chris Brown, Yung Bleu, and Roddy Ricch as guest features. “Too Easy” with Future was the project’s lead single.
