Tupac Shakur’s estate is now at the center of a federal lawsuit over claims it stole a powerful political speech and used it without permission.
The lawsuit comes from the estate of Dr. Khallid Abdul Muhammad, who says Shakur’s 1996 track “White Man’z World” illegally sampled Muhammad’s copyrighted speech.
The suit doesn’t just name Shakur’s estate—it also targets Suge Knight, Interscope Records, Death Row Records, Universal’s publishing arm and producer Darryl “Big D” Harper.
According to the complaint, the Tupac Shakur’s team lifted a seven-line excerpt from a 1993 lecture Muhammad gave at the “Black Holocaust Nationhood Conference.”
That speech included a direct call to support political prisoners.
That clip ended up on “White Man’z World,” a standout track from The Don Killuminati: The 7 Day Theory, released just weeks after Shakur was shot and killed in Las Vegas in September 1996 at the age of 25.
The album dropped on November 5 of that year under his alias, Makaveli.
Meanwhile, Dr. Khallid Muhammad, a firebrand orator and former national spokesman for Minister Louis Farrakhan and the Nation of Islam, died from a brain aneurysm in 2001. He was 53.
Muhammad had become a well-known figure for his Black nationalist views and later served as chairman of the New Black Panther Party.
The lawsuit argues that Muhammad’s voice wasn’t just background noise. In fact, it asserts that his speech gave the song emotional weight and political urgency.
The estate says that Tupac’s team never requested a license, gave credit, or paid a dime. Moreover, the complaint says the sample is still being used commercially today.
“White Man’z World” is currently available on streaming platforms, featured on radio, and licensed for various forms of distribution.
According to the estate, that ongoing use only deepens the infringement.
“His presence on ‘White Manz World’ reinforces Tupac Shakur’s role as not just an artist, but as a voice for Black empowerment and resistance against oppression. At a time when hip-hop was a leading force in shaping political discourse among Black youth, Dr. Khallid’s inclusion gave ‘White Manz World’ an undeniable authenticity, elevating it beyond music into a revolutionary message against racial injustice,” lawyer Malik Z. Shabazz explained.
Furthermore, the estate insists that the defendants had access to public records showing the speech was protected.
The suit demands at least $5 million.
In addition, it seeks a permanent injunction to block further exploitation of Muhammad’s voice, attorneys’ fees and the impoundment of infringing materials.
Yo, what’s good, family? Illseed here, tapping in with a quick update on a troubling movement that’s got Tennessee (and those in the know) on edge. Now listen, this isn’t your granddad’s KKK—this is something slicker, more organized and deeply embedded in America’s backyard. They’re calling themselves “Patriot Front,” wrapping themselves in the flag and calling it patriotism. But underneath all those stars and stripes is nothing but old-school hate, rebranded.
NewsChannel 5 just blew the lid off this thing in Tennessee, finding out Patriot Front’s been quietly building compounds, training soldiers and preparing for what looks like war. These dudes aren’t joking around. They’re out here marching through downtown Nashville and hiding behind masks, of course. Some stuff never changes. There are reports of them popping out the back of rental trucks like some menace of a flash mobs. This is white nationalism masked in patriotism.
Jeff Tischauser from the Southern Poverty Law Center broke it down: these are hardcore white supremacists aiming to carve out a “white ethno-state” in the U.S. Their leader, a 26-year-old named Thomas Rousseau, openly says, “We’re Americans, not White Americans—’cause there ain’t no other kind of Americans than those who are White and from Europe.” Oh really?
Last fall, antifascist activists tried to push back against a white supremacist meetup at Montgomery Bell State Park, not far from Nashville. But authorities seemed to be working with the racists. Protestors were kept out. Jared Taylor, the organizer of American Renaissance Conference (more reported racists) said the attendees were just “thoughtful Americans” concerned about the country’s direction. Man, that’s just coded language. Rousseau himself was there.
Cue up Joe Biden please…
Patriot Front is not all that new. They came up from the chaos of Charlottesville in 2017. , The “Unite the Right” of 2017 rally was a white supremacist convening that took place in Charlottesville. Now they are branded Vanguard America after one of their own killed Heather Heyer, a white woman. Now they’re on college campuses, flooding neighborhoods with racist stickers, flyers, graffiti—you name it. Law enforcement’s keeping tabs, but it’s a dangerous game as these dudes keep upping their tactics, staying organized, and staying dangerous.
Stay woke! Don’t let them change the meaning! Patriot Front wears patriotism as a mask, but hate is hate. You can’t hide that.
This time BET is tapping into Gen Z star power with Keke Palmer and Kai Cenat. The pair are stepping in as the brand new, but not all that new, hosts set to revive one of Hip-Hop’s most beloved platforms. I feel like I was watching this when I was a child.
Launched in 2000, before any kid now, 106 & Park quickly became the heartbeat of Black teen culture and also Hip-Hop fans. It was the BET version of MTV’s TRL. The show captivated millions daily and I was one of them. This was the PLACE for music videos, exclusive interviews, and a crazy crowd. The show was originally fronted by iconic duo AJ and Free. We’ll always love them. And then there was Terrence J and Rocsi Diaz, who we loved too. And, there were some other hosts too.
But let’s get to now.
Now, BET has announced—presumably—actress and Palmer and streaming sensation Kai Cenat are coming! Cenat is a powerhouse that brings the online generation directly into BET’s fold. And while I am looking for Free still, because she still bad af…it’s a new day.
Back to 2025. Rumors of the show’s revival had been swirling for months, especially after BET’s recent successes with nostalgic comebacks. Peke Palmer teased the announcement that was non-specific: “Y’all aren’t ready for what’s next!” Cenat’s involvement makes sense to me, if not the industry clowns that are looking at tradition.
Sources suggest the revamped 106 & Park will blend the traditional countdown and celebrity interviews with social media segments and viral content. We’ll see.
Jozzy has her followers on Instagram scrambling to confirm whether or not she is doing okay after sharing a distressing post chronicling a personal issue, which grabbed the attention of SZA.
On Monday (March 31) the singer/songwriter shared a video with her followers breaking down why she was on the brink of crashing out. To make a long summation short, Jozzy laid out the conflict she is currently going through with her significant other after they blocked her due to a disagreement.
“I’m f###### losing it right now, bro,” Jozzy said in part. “I really think I just lost my girl. Shawty has blocked me on everything. She done blocked me in every way. I can’t even email like literally.
Jozzy then broke down what the source of friction between her and her girl was in the first place. “Keep my phone face down,” she said. “It’s not this. It’s not that doesn’t mean I’m cheating. It’s just really a natural habit that I be doing because n##### be calling me. She don’t really trip…She tripped for that. I don’t know why.”
Jozzy then reveals that her next move, which she made in good faith thinking she could do no wrong, blew up in her face.
“But we promised we was never looking at each other’s phones, but I gave in because I know I ain’t really doing nothing,” she said. “It’s the first time I’m really being very above board.”
From there, things seem to get fishy, as Jozzy details how her partner seemingly freaked out over a text exchange with an unnamed artist, leading to a heated arguement.
“And she sees this artist that text me,” she said. “She text me like late or whatever, but it was on some music s###. We artists. This is what we do. Shawty went crazy over this muthafucka. You would have thought that we was talking some crazy s###.”
Jozzy says she attempted to allow things to blow over, but that didn’t pan out the way she thought it would, either.
“She went crazy,” she said. “I’, just like I’m gonna give her a time. She’s gonna go home. She’s gonna sleep it off. All right. She has blocked me on everything bro.”
While admitting she wanted “to crash the f### out” Jozzy also made it clear that the post was meant to grab the attention of her significant other. However, instead, it clocked on SZA’s radar and prompted her to share her speculative, yet sympathetic response.
“Lmao I have no idea if this is real or not but I hope she come back cause this not the jozzy I know,” SZA exclaimed. “Love wins gang.”
In a follow-up comment, SZA suggested Jozzy set up boundaries for her communications regarding work to avoid a similar occurrence from transpiring in the future.
“Also no artist texts after 10/11pm 🤷🏾♀️ anything they got can wait til the am I figure,” she wrote. “That way it won’t cut into your private cuddle time !! 🥹 u got this jozzyyyy.”
While its too early too determine whether or not this is a true story or if it’s simply just the beginning of a rollout campaign for a new single, its clear that Jozzy has SZA and her followers on the edges of their seats waiting to find out!
Drake has secured a major legal win in his ongoing battle with you Universal Music Group (UMG).
On Wednesday (April 2), Judge Jeanette Vargas ruled in favor of Drake’s legal team, beginning the discovery process in his lawsuit against UMG over his claims regarding Kendrick Lamar’s “Not Like Us” during a pre-trial conference in a New York courtroom.
Now, the Toronto native’s legal counsel can begin requesting document production and conducting depositions with key executives at UMG as a result of the record labels motion to delay discovery being denied.
Immediately following the ruling, AllHipHop obtained a brief statement from Drake’s lead attorney, Michael Gottlieb.
“Now it’s time to see what UMG was so desperately trying to hide,” Gottlieb wrote in the statement.
The lates ruling follows weeks of bitter back-and-forth dialogue between both Drake’s legal team and UMG, via a string of legal filings. On March 17, Gottlieb called UMG “greedy” and “desperate” in response to the 32-page legal document UMG filed in which it categorized Drake’s lawsuit as an “unfounded complaint.”
“UMG wants to pretend that this is about a rap battle in order to distract its shareholders, artists and the public from a simple truth: a greedy company is finally being held responsible for profiting from dangerous misinformation that has already resulted in multiple acts of violence,” Gottlieb’s statement reads in part.
Additionally, on March 20, Drake’s legal team filed a court document which argued that UMG’s attempt to dismiss the defamation lawsuit relies on a flawed legal precedent, specifically, Michael Rapaport’s failed defamation case against Barstool Sports. While Rapaport’s case was dismissed because the court ruled that no reasonable person would interpret Barstool’s over-the-top attacks as literal truth, Drake’s attorneys argue that millions of people worldwide did, in fact, take Kendrick’s lyrics seriously.
Sean “Diddy” Combs’ former bodyguard, Gene Deal didn’t hold back when calling out Stevie J’s recent “gangster” image and accused the music producer of drug use while disputing his account of the night The Notorious B.I.G. was murdered in Los Angeles.
Deal said he once protected Stevie J during their time in New York and considered him “like a little nephew.”
However, after Stevie J’s recent remarks downplaying their relationship, claiming Deal exaggerates his role and fabricating stories about their past interactions, Deal fired back.
“I don’t know when he became a gangster,” Deal said during an interview with Art of Dialogue. “Stevie J better sit his little ass down.”
Deal noted Stevie J was in the car directly behind Biggie’s SUV when the rapper was gunned down in 1997.
Gene Deal challenged Stevie J’s version of events, saying the night was anything but ordinary due to the ongoing East Coast-West Coast tension.
“He need to stop that, bro,” Deal said. “He talking to people who was in the streets that was gangsters. And I’m just giving him like a formal, you know, chastising to somebody that once used to care about him. You know it’s the drugs, bro.”
Deal alleged that both Stevie J and Ma$e were warned by Crips about a potential threat to Diddy and Biggie before the shooting but failed to pass that information along. That, he said, made Stevie J’s “regular night” comment even more frustrating.
Adding to the tension, Stevie J previously dismissed Deal’s claims, saying he doesn’t know him and suggesting Deal is exaggerating their past for attention.
Lil Baby has a problem. As soon as Young Thug was off the hook, so to speak, I knew something was gonna happen next. And that next was the potential arrest of Lil Baby on RICO charges. Man, how did we get here? The year started off so well….
Now these RICO rumors are not new, at least in the streets. But they are certainly getting loud right now. Every TikTok goof ball is making a video and pontificating on their so-called platforms. It’s almost like people want him to be arrested. But there’s a lot of smoke right now around his situation.
He dropped a new album, and I think maybe that was supposed to provide cover? I don’t know, but it’s not working. Most recently, and very much so allegedly, there was audio released where Lil Baby apparently put money on somebody’s head.
A report in The Atlanta Objectivethat was published just a few days ago said that Lil Baby is almost guaranteed to be charged with RICO, targeting two gangs there in Atlanta. There’s also allegedly a video of Lil Baby putting in his own work with a Drakeo—and I don’t mean the rapper.
According to a deep dive by veteran reporter George Chidi, things are heating up, and it might soon be raining indictments on Lil Baby and his affiliates from OMF (Only My Family) and the notorious 4PF (Four Pockets Full). Goodness.
Shawn Hoover, the top guy at Georgia Public Defender’s gang-focused legal squad, didn’t mince words about the situation. Hoover openly acknowledged they’re “actively preparing” for serious racketeering charges. Lil Baby could be famous for all the wrong reasons.
The gruesome murder of Keiontay Davis last Friday (March 28) brought all of this to a head. Davis was neck-deep in the legal drama surrounding the 2022 murder of Jaquavious Wilson, 26, another tragic death in the deadly feud between OMF and 4PF. This is deeper than rap, people.
People tell me Wilson was set to testify before pleading guilty to lesser charges, avoiding harsher penalties. But flipping has consequences! Authorities say Wilson had targets on his back from both street tribes. OMF wanted revenge and 4PF wanted to shut him up. Nathan “4PF Nate” Benford recently landed a 20-year sentence after a guilty plea.
Lil Baby has done his darnest to distance himself from the mess. He even shut down 4PF as a label back in 2023, but calling it Glass Window Entertainment won’t do it when the Feds are involved. The Georgia Bureau of Investigation hasn’t forgotten what they believe are real gang affiliations. They say there’s a link between 4PF and the Crips.
Lil Baby hasn’t said much, but he did say something. When pressed by a fan on Instagram about the potential RICO charges, he reportedly said, “ONLY GOD CAN JUDGE ME.”
Oddly, he had a song called “Dum, Dumb and Dumber.” You can’t make this up.
Donald Trump gave his stamp of approval to his former daughter-in-law, Vanessa Trump’s relationship with golf icon Tiger Woods.
He addressed the new romance during a White House video released on YouTube, calling both of them “great” and championing their future together.
“I love Tiger and I love Vanessa,” Trump said in the clip, revealing that Woods had reached out to him “a few months ago.”
Trump went on to describe his rapport with the 15-time major champion, saying he has a “very special, very good relationship with Tiger.”
He added, “I played golf with him a couple of times over the last month, and he’s a fantastic guy and a fantastic athlete.”
Trump revealed Woods personally told him about the relationship.
“I said, ‘Tiger, that’s good, that’s good,'” he recounted. “I’m very happy for both. Just let them both be happy.”
Woods confirmed the relationship publicly on Instagram last month.
“Love is in the air and life is better with you by my side!” he wrote. “We look forward to our journey through life together.”
Vanessa Trump was previously married to Donald Trump Jr. for 13 years before finalizing their divorce in 2018. The former couple shares five children.
The pair reportedly began dating in November 2024, with speculation circulating earlier this year before Woods made it official on social media.
Tiger Woods and Donald Trump have a long-standing friendship, often seen golfing together over the years. Trump awarded Woods the Presidential Medal of Freedom in 2019.
Young Scooter‘s death following a hoax 911 call has prompted a public statement from his grieving family while the woman accused of triggering the fatal police response remains behind bars in Atlanta.
The rapper’s relatives, speaking through a publicist, addressed the tragedy on the day authorities arrested 31-year-old Demetria Spence for allegedly fabricating a violent emergency that led to Scooter’s accidental death.
“We are completely devastated by the loss of Kenneth’ Young Scooter’ Bailey and are currently still waiting for more information to understand the circumstance,” the family said in a statement shared with FOX 5 Atlanta.
Spence was charged under Georgia law with “transmitting a false public alarm” in a case where serious injury or death resulted from a public safety response.
According to police, Spence called 911 on March 28, claiming to be part of a neighborhood watch. She described a chaotic scene involving gunfire, a naked woman bleeding from the head, and men allegedly involved in drug and sex trafficking. The caller claimed they heard three shots.
“She ran outside naked, and then he was fighting her outside,” the caller told the dispatcher. “She tried to get away. He dragged her back in the house… she’s being held hostage.”
But when officers arrived at the southwest Atlanta home, they found no signs of gunfire or any woman matching the caller’s description.
Two men fled the scene. One returned inside, while Kenneth Bailey, known as Young Scooter, attempted to escape by jumping over fences. He suffered a deep leg wound from wooden debris and later died from blood loss.
The Fulton County Medical Examiner ruled his death accidental.
The 911 recordings were released publicly on March 31 in an effort to identify the caller. Spence, an aspiring reality TV star, was arrested the next day and is currently held at Fulton County Jail. Authorities have not revealed a motive for the false report.
Scooter’s family described him as more than an artist, calling him a devoted father and a mentor to Atlanta’s youth.
“Young Scooter was more than just a hip hop artist,” the family said. “He was a phenomenal father and mentor to a lot of Atlanta youth pursuing both sports and music. Scooter was their advocate and support system. He always encouraged his children and the youth to pursue their dreams no matter what.”
They also thanked the public for their support. “The family is grateful for the outpouring of support and love from the city and all over the country. At this time, they are requesting privacy and prayers as they grieve and wait for answers.”
Spence was taken into custody on Tuesday (April 1).
“If this wasn’t my purpose, I asked God to take the desire away—but He just keeps enhancing it.” —Jonathan Majors
At one point, Jonathan Majors, now 35, was everywhere. The Texas-born actor launched into Hollywood royalty with critically acclaimed performances in The Last Black Man in San Francisco, Lovecraft Country, Creed II and the commanding, instantly iconic Kang the Conqueror in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Through his work, he quickly became synonymous with Black Excellence. But faster than his skyrocket, Majors was grounded the courts of public opinion and the legal system. Both his career and reputation were put on pause.
In the court of public opinion, few actors have had such a swift shift from “next big thing” to question mark. But that’s not where Jonathan Majors’ story ends. Not even close.
Enter Magazine Dreams. The Yale School of Drama grad’s latest is a raw, heart-wrenching performance that pushes the boundaries of character acting. Majors reintroduces himself not only as an artist but as a man in evolution. He’s training again, not just for roles but for a new life. He speaks to Chuck Jigsaw Creekmur with a quiet intensity, full of introspection, spiritual reckoning, and a newfound focus on love, legacy, and healing.
In this deeply personal conversation with AllHipHop, Majors opens up about the emotional and physical demands of Magazine Dreams, the complexities of being a Black man in America, spiritual healing through hypnosis, and his creative future. Furthermore, he discusses “working” alongside his partner and new wife, actress Megan Good. He even gives us his Top 5 dead-or-alive MCs, and trust—it’s not the list you’d expect.
This isn’t a comeback. It’s more of a continuation and a new chapter. Jonathan Majors may be walking between controversy and redemption, but seems to be doing it with purpose and definitely with an uncanny talent.
AllHipHop: What’s going on, everybody? It’s your man Chuck Creekmur, aka Jigsaw, and I’m here with a modern-day G.O.A.T.—Jonathan Majors. How you doing, man?
Jonathan Majors: I’m really, really good, brother. Blessed. Good to see you, man. Nice to meet you.
AllHipHop: You too, man. I’m a huge fan—I’m not even going to lie. This is a real treat. I have to admit, Magazine Dreams feels like your magnum opus. Apex acting. I saw it and cried. Even in the car on the way home, I was tearing up. First off, spiritually and mentally—are things clicking now?
Jonathan Majors: We’re firing on all cylinders, man. And I’ve got a great backup. She’s holding me down, and I’m just happy. I’m really happy.
AllHipHop: That’s beautiful. Now, looking at the complexity of Killian Maddox—physically, mentally, emotionally—did you take any special steps to prepare for this role that differed from others?
Jonathan Majors: Yes. When I first read the script, I thought, “This is it.” Some roles require everything. You don’t want to overdo it, but with Killian, I threw everything at it—and then had to go find more. I worked with my godmother, Michelle Shea, on the psychology. I realized Killian is like a superhero—he feels deeply and pushes his body beyond limits. That physical intensity became a kind of rehearsal. It was the first time I fully connected body and mind in the work. The training and emotional depth were both extreme—and deeply connected.
AllHipHop: Director Elijah Bynum—gotta put some respect on his name—did an amazing job. He said the film is more about the human experience than a racial one. I agree, but I also felt triggered by certain scenes, like the police interaction. You’ve said this story is uniquely Black in a cinematic sense. Can you elaborate?
Jonathan Majors: Absolutely. Elijah is right—it’s a human story. But also, humanity is experienced through groups, cultures, tribes. Killian is navigating a world where he’s an outlier—neurodivergent, physically exceptional, emotionally scarred. That makes him a minority in many ways. And then there’s the Black experience. You see very few other Black people in his world. Being Black is part of the human experience, but it comes with different obstacles. People judge you before knowing your name. So yes, it’s a human story—but a specifically human story from a Black lens.
AllHipHop: I was watching your Breakfast Club interview—shout out to them—and you mentioned hypnosis as part of your healing journey. They didn’t follow up, but I caught that. Can you expand on it?
Jonathan Majors: Yeah. I met a hypnotist in Hawaii while visiting my father-in-law. She had an office in L.A., and I was assembling my healing team. It was Christian-based, and she said all the right things. We never got to full hypnosis, but we did go deep—into the mind, into vulnerable spaces. The mind is powerful. You start saying things you didn’t know were inside you. That unlocked new doors for healing and growth. It was just one session, but it was impactful.
AllHipHop: I’m a lifelong comic nerd—The Incredible Hulk’s my favorite. When you got the role of Kang, I was hyped. He’s another complex character. Did you prepare differently for him?
Jonathan Majors: Definitely. Kang—and all his variants—is a layered role. For Kang Prime in Quantumania, I researched real-world conquerors and tyrants. That gave me emotional and psychological grounding. Then I did the comic book homework. I also used masks from my theater background—each mask had a different energy, stacked like layers. Kang is a composite of all those energies. When I played Victor Timely, he was already within that Kang mask. It was deep work—but fun.
AllHipHop: Off the record—or on the record—my podcast The Certified Squad is starting the petition to bring you back to the Marvel Universe. You don’t have to comment, I’m just putting that out there.
Jonathan Majors: (Laughs) I hear you.
AllHipHop: If you could relive any year of your life—without changing anything—what year would it be?
Jonathan Majors: 2014. The year my daughter was born. I’d love to relive that first year with her.
AllHipHop: Right now, with everything you’ve been through, what does success look like to you? Jonathan Majors: Waking up rested. Kissing my wife. Hitting the gym. Stimulating my mind and body. Spending time with my wife and dogs. Making meaningful art that touches people. That’s success. And I’ve prayed—if this isn’t what I’m meant to do, take the desire away. But it keeps growing. So I know something big is coming. We’ve got two projects on deck. I can’t wait to share them.
AllHipHop: That’s dope. Megan’s in the DC Universe, you were in Marvel… maybe you’re building a new universe together?
Jonathan Majors: (Laughs) We are building a universe. I’d do anything with her. We’re already in the best movie—life. We work really well together. She helps me, I help her—it’s mutual. We’re in love, we believe in each other. So yeah, something is definitely going to happen creatively.
AllHipHop: Can you talk briefly about your upcoming projects?
Jonathan Majors: Sure. One is a sci-fi thriller drama called Merciless, directed by Martin Villeneuve—we shoot that soon. Another is about a CIA agent who gets pulled into a dark spiritual realm and must save his wife. It’s about how far a man will go for love. The third is a full-on action film—think The Raid. Gerard McMurray is directing. It’s for the culture. No blue screens—I start training next week. It’s going to be real.
AllHipHop: Are you into Hip-Hop?
Jonathan Majors: Am I into Hip-Hop? Absolutely. No question.
AllHipHop: Bet. So what’s your Top 5—dead or alive?
Jonathan Majors: Pac. Nipsey. Kendrick. Nas. Cam’ron.
AllHipHop: Cam! That’s dope. Got a favorite Cam track?
Jonathan Majors: Usually the last one I listened to. I’m on a Cam run right now. And also—can I add Jadakiss? And Scarface. That’s my six.
AllHipHop: Solid. Hey man, I just want to say—I hope I get to shake your hand one day. I’m proud of you. Life’s a journey, and we all stumble. But you’ve done the work. You’ve earned your flowers. We talk about Denzel and Sidney, but right now, in this moment? You’re a G.O.A.T. I’ve truly enjoyed your work.
Jonathan Majors: Thank you, brother. That means a lot.
Kanye West reignited tensions with the Kardashian family after blasting Khloé for reposting a photo of his daughter North West, accusing her and her famous family of manipulating and exploiting his children.
The controversial rapper reposted a Snapchat from Khloé Kardashian featuring the 11-year-old girl. She captioned the post, “North looks so grown up!!”
However, West used the moment to launch a scathing attack on the Kardashian clan.
“It’s difficult when you know you’re children are being indoctrinated and used,” West wrote. “People know why I went crazy. Now I’m in a place where I have to dissociate or go to jail.
“And I bet not one Kamala supporting pro black celebrity say anything on me or my kids behalf. If a group of prominent black stars stood up I could save my kids from all this. Yall watch these white and white passing women run use indoctrinate and traffic these black kids and tell me ‘this is what I signed up for.'”
Kanye West Bashes Kim & Kardashian Family
This isn’t West’s first time publicly accusing his ex-wife, Kim Kardashian, and her family of misconduct.
In a recent social media tirade, he alleged, “I AM 100 PERCENT CONVINCED THAT MY CHILDREN ARE IN A SEX TRAFFICKING RING” and claimed, “THE KARDASHIANS ARE SEX WORKERS, AND THEY SEX TRAFFIC ALL OF THE BLACK CHILDREN THEY STRATEGICALLY PRODUCE.”
He also directly named Kim, writing, “KIM KARDASHIAN IS A SEX TRAFFICKER.”
West has repeatedly voiced concern over how his daughter is presented in public, especially after she appeared in an FKA Twigs music video.
“Kim Kardashian is a sex worker,” he alleged. “I don’t like that Twigs has my daughter in her video dressing all grown. I would have expected more from Twigs.”
During a recent interview, West expressed regret over having children with Kim Kardashian.
“My kids are celebrities and I don’t have the say so,” he said. “So this white woman and this white family have the control of these highly influential black kids that are half the children of Ye.”
Kanye West and Kim Kardashian finalized their divorce in 2022. They share four children: North, Saint, Chicago and Psalm.
Soulja Boy denied rape allegations in a Los Angeles courtroom this week as he took the stand in a civil trial, telling jurors he “never” raped the woman accusing him of years of abuse during her time as his personal assistant.
The Atlanta rapper, born DeAndre Cortez Way, acknowledged a sexual encounter with the plaintiff, identified as Jane Doe, during a police raid at his home in February 2019 but insisted the interaction was consensual, per Rolling Stone.
“I asked her if she wanted to have sex, and she was engaged in it,” he testified. “She didn’t push me away or say stop, nothing like that.”
His legal team, led by attorney Rickey Ivie, argued the relationship was consensual and claimed the woman’s accusations lacked credible proof.
When asked if he ever “Hit the plaintiff in the mouth, bust her lip, and force her to give you oral sex?” Soulja Boy responded, “Of course not, and that’s a disgusting allegation.” He added, “It sounds crazy to me. I did not do that.”
Jane Doe alleges Soulja Boy subjected her to repeated physical and sexual abuse while she worked as his assistant from late 2018 to 2020. She claims she was raped multiple times, including during the 2019 police raid and again in October 2020 when she returned to collect her belongings.
She also accuses the rapper of locking her in a room for three days without food or water after she attempted to quit in 2019.
According to her testimony, he took her driver’s license, threatened her with firearms and isolated her at his Malibu rental property.
In addition to the sexual assault claims, she says she was never paid for her work despite being promised $500 a week. Her responsibilities allegedly included cooking, cleaning, driving and being on call nearly around the clock.
Jane Doe also testified that Soulja Boy sent her unsolicited explicit images within the first month of employment and physically assaulted her on several occasions.
She said he punched her in the head at least ten times, kicked her and spat on her. After one alleged assault in February 2019, she claimed he handed her $1,000 as a remorse payment.
She further alleged he made threats against her life, once saying, “I should have killed you,” and warned he would send shooters to harm her family if she left him.
Despite the alleged abuse, she said she stayed due to his repeated apologies and promises to change.
Prosecutors in Ventura County declined to file criminal charges in 2021, citing insufficient evidence to prove the allegations beyond a reasonable doubt.
In her lawsuit, Doe alleges Soulja Boy subjected her to sexual battery, assault, false imprisonment, emotional distress, unpaid overtime, and a hostile work environment.
The civil trial is ongoing in Los Angeles Superior Court.
Demi Blanco, a reality TV personality from Zeus Network’s “Baddies,” was arrested in Atlanta after police say she made a bogus 911 call that triggered the chain of events leading to the death of rapper Young Scooter.
Blanco, whose legal name is Demetria Spence, was taken into custody on Tuesday (April 1) and charged with transmitting a false public alarm.
According to Atlanta police, Spence dialed 911 on March 28, claiming she had witnessed a violent attack involving a naked woman being beaten and gunfire erupting at a local property.
However, when officers arrived, they found no evidence of a disturbance.
Instead, police encountered two men fleeing the scene. One of them was Kenneth Bailey, better known as Young Scooter.
While trying to escape, Bailey attempted to jump a wooden fence and suffered a severe leg injury that tore an artery. He later died from blood loss. The Fulton County Medical Examiner ruled his death accidental, citing a “penetrating injury to the thigh” as the cause.
Hours before her arrest, Spence went live on Instagram and contradicted her original 911 report, claiming she was the one assaulted.
Adding to the confusion, Young Thug weighed in on social media, alleging that Bailey was shot.
In now-deleted posts on X, formerly Twitter, Thug wrote, “Autopsy came back street got shot.” He also posted a photo of District Attorney Marissa Viverito, calling her the “biggest liar in the DA office.”
However, the Fulton County Medical Examiner’s office refuted Thug’s claim, stating there was no gunshot wound and confirming the injury was caused by contact with wood or debris during Bailey’s escape.
Spence remains in custody at Fulton County Jail as of April 1.
Kanye West lit up social media with a chaotic mix of praise for Drake and harsh criticism of J. Cole in his latest tirade.
On Monday (April 1), the divisive rapper reposted a clip from Drake’s “Nokia” video while reflecting on their strained relationship.
“How I hate Drake and I’m team Drake at the same time,” he tweeted. “Life is funny like that It’s the weird thing where I feel closest to Drake outta any body in rap.”
West followed up by sharing a post that simply read, “Drake #1.”
West then pivoted to Cole, unloading a series of insults blasting the North Carolina rapper’s music and industry presence.
“I hate J Cole music so much It’s like between Kendrick and J Cole,” he wrote. “I bet you industry plants asked J Cole to diss Drake then we would have been accosted with a J Cole Super Bowl commercial with no SZA song to save it.”
He didn’t stop there. “No one listens to J Cole after loosing their virginity,” West added.
He also revealed that during a past meeting with Drake, he voiced frustration over Cole’s influence.
“When I met up with Drake during Donda most of the convo was me telling him he was hurting hip hop by giving J Cole a platform,” West claimed. “I was saying how much I loved Future.”
The rant didn’t end with Cole. West also took aim at the late fashion designer Virgil Abloh, expressing lingering resentment over Abloh’s rise.
“Imagine a n#### steal your dream and is given your crown because he ain’t wear a red hat and then the culture you built mad at you speaking up on it,” he stated. “My own friends that knew how bad it hurt me came tryna check me for speaking up. I hate when n##### try to tell me what the f### I can say.”
In a recent interview, West doubled down on his admiration for Drake, calling him “a million times better” and “a million times more important” than Kendrick Lamar.
He credited Drake with shaping the sound and direction of modern Hip-Hop, spawning artists like Future and Young Thug.
Just last month, West admitted he felt jealous of Drake and bizarrely confessed that he wanted Drake to speak at his funeral.
50 Cent has launched a new coordinated social media attack on Lil Meech, Rick Ross and Floyd Mayweather all at once.
On Tuesday (April 1), Fifty shared a string of since-deleted posts to Instagram in which he mocked his foes Mayweather and Ross over their alliance to Lil Meech. It all started with the G-Unit Films & TV mogul sharing a carousel post of images of the “BMF” star appearing slumped over in a wheelchair. Though he did not provide any context along with the images, 50 Cent appeared to suggest Lil Meech was suffering from a drug addiction.
”Damn this is bad,” 50 Cent wrote in the caption of the post. “You believe me now! Oh now you want to believe me OK.”
As if Fifty’s previous allegations regarding Lil Meech’s drug habits weren’t enough of a giveaway, he also added the audio for Amy Winehouse’s “Rehab” seemingly serving as a reference to the singer’s death in 2011 at the age of 27 amid a battle with drug and alcohol addiction.
In a follow-up post featuring a photo of the trio of his ops, 50 Cent antagonized Mayweather and Ross by alluding to the idea that they were using Lil Meech for clout amid their fued fueled by Fifty’s disagreement with Big Meech.
“HELP 🚨 help him out you guys knew what you were doing,” he wrote in the caption of the post. “You used him and now you’re not gonna be there for him. SMH.”
Earlier this year in February, 50 Cent revealed he sent Lil Meech to rehab after noticing signs of substance use, a revelation that adds fuel to his ongoing feud with Lil Meech’s father, Black Mafia Family founder—whose real name is Demetrius Flenory. According to Fifty, concerns about Lil Meech’s drug use escalated when actor Russell Hornsby, who plays Charles Flenory in Starz’s BMF series with Lil Meech, noticed something was off.
“Thought about it. I think he was uncomfortable with me and MeMe’s relationship,” 50 wrote on Instagram, using a nickname for Lil Meech. “I’m telling MeMe don’t want him doing drugs. He telling him he use to do X like it’s cool.”
Young Thug appears to suggest there were more factors contributing to the death of Young Scooter than police led the public to believe just as the suspected 911 caller linked to the incident has allegedly been exposed.
On Tuesday (April 1), the Business Is Business rapper shared a cryptic tweet seemingly alluding to his discovery that Young Scooter was actually shot during his fatal encounter with police in Atlanta on March 28. Early reports determined the “Colombia” rapper died due to bleeding out after tearing his femoral artery while fleeing from the police, but Thug’s tweet seemed to point to an alleged autopsy.
”Autopsy came back street got shot,” Young Thug wrote in the tweet.
Though he did not refer to his deceased collaborator’s stage name directly in the tweet he shared, Twitter users immediately began speculating that the message was linked to Young scooter. Prior to sharing the tweet, Thug appeared to pay homage by reposting a photo of Young Scooter attending a court hearing during his YSL RICO trial in 2024 on the day the news broke of his passing.
Simultaneously, a woman known as Demi Blanco, who became popular due to her appearance on the Zeus network series “Baddies” has been accused of making the 911 call which led to the altercation between the deceased Atlanta rapper and police.
As Thug’s tweet began going viral, clips from a lengthy livestream Blanco broadcasted on April 1 also started making rounds on social media due to the reality TV show contestant appearing to admit she made the call to authorities.
However, Blanco’s explanation for the call contradicts the actual 911 call audio released by authorities. During the call, the woman claims she’s the neighborhood watch and wanted to report a neighbor’s house to be investigated for drugs, a shooting and a bloodied and naked woman. Instead, Blanco claimed during her livestream she had been abused by an associate of Young Scooter and feared for her life and that’s why she called police.
As early as March 31, outlets such as The New York Post reported that Atlanta police were investigating the 911 call as a case of “swatting” and offering up to a $5,000 reward for information leading to the discovery of the identity of the caller. According to WSB-TV Channel 2 Atlanta, FOX 5 Atlanta and WABE, Georgia has classified “swatting”—the act of making false emergency calls to provoke a heavy police response—as a felony offense. This change was enacted through Senate Bill 421, which was signed into law and took effect in July 2024. KATV reports that under this law, a first offense of swatting is punishable by up to 10 years in prison, with penalties increasing for repeat offenses, including a maximum sentence of 15 years for a third violation.
50 Cent has once again shared his raw and uncut reaction to yet another lawsuit filed by a new Diddy accuser, which has also prompted responses from JAY-Z, among others.
On Tuesday (April 1), the G-Unit Films & TV mogul shared a screenshot of a TMZ report covering the news of a lawsuit recently filed by a man named Joseph Manzaro accusing Diddy of sex trafficking and assaulting him while multiple high profile celebrities watched in 2015.
Manzaro claims, in part, that he was drugged, humiliated and subjected to non-consensual acts at a gathering celebrating King Combs’ 17th birthday at a Florida mansion owned by Gloria and Emilio Estefan.
“Got Damn how many of these boys Diddy was touching,” 50 Cent wrote in the caption of the post he shared on Instagram
The lawsuit, which names figures such as JAY-Z, Beyoncé, LeBron James and Gloria and Emilio Estefan as witnesses, has already prompted responses from the legal counsel of multiple individuals named—though they are not being sued.
JAY-Z’s attorney, Alex Spiro, dismissed the claims, telling TMZ, “Mr. Carter wasn’t in Florida at that time to witness this incident—he was engaged in easily findable public activities that prove he was not at this event. This is more nonsense that erodes the trust in our ‘justice’ system.”
A representative for Gloria and Emilio Estefan also denied the accusations.
“Gloria and Emilio Estefan strongly deny the allegations made,” the representative said. “The property in question was never a home where Gloria and Emilio resided, but it was rather a house they owned for family use. There were no parties thrown at that property between 2012 and 2019. We have all necessary documentation to support these facts and will provide it to the court.”
In the lawsuit, Manzaro alleges he was taken to Star Island in Miami, where he was dragged into the back entrance of the Estefans’ mansion. He claims Gloria saw his drugged state and called for help before Emilio silenced her and ushered her away. He also says he saw LeBron James walking in a bath towel, who allegedly told others, “Y’all better do something about that!”
Manzaro further claims ex-p### star Adria English led him through a tunnel to Diddy’s mansion, where he encountered JAY-Z and Beyoncé. According to him, Beyoncé asked, “What’s this all about? Why is this half-naked white man with a c### mask standing here in front of me?” He says a Diddy associate responded, “Diddy wants him to see what we do to snitches. This is part of his punishment.”
Despite these claims, inconsistencies have emerged. As TMZ points out, Google searches show JAY-Z was in New York in April 2015, speaking about Tidal, contradicting the lawsuit’s timeline. Additionally, attorneys representing former adult film actress English requested to withdraw from her civil lawsuit against Diddy, citing irreparable communication breakdowns last month. This marks the second time English has been dropped by her legal team.
Jonathan Majors is not waiting around for Marvel to bring him back. The one-time embattled thespian is stepping up the intensity once again, as he’s set to headline Gerard McMurray’s action thriller True Threat.
The film has been described as a gritty tale of vengeance, redemption and relentless confrontation in the heart of Harlem. Majors didn’t hold back his enthusiasm in an exclusive interview with AllHipHop.
“I think our aim is to make one of the dopest action films ever made,” he told AHH’s Chuck Jigsaw Creekmur. “It’s not blue screen. I start training next week. So it’s going to be real. I’m looking forward to it.”
True Threat centers around Vernon Threat, portrayed by Majors. He’s an elite Special Forces operative driven into a merciless rampage after his teenage son is murdered by a ruthless street gang known as The Apollo Kids. Threat storms The Carter, a 20-story housing, determined to face off with the gang’s elusive leader. “We’re making right for the culture, super commercial type vibe, but it’s going to be dope,” he said.
The movie will prominently feature the African American martial arts style known as 52 Blocks, which was popularized by Hip-Hop. It has never been seen in a big-budget Hollywood production.
Majors further detailed his second project, Merciless.
Majors explained, “I would call [Merciless] as a sci-fi thriller drama, right? Called Merciless, directed by Martine Villeneuve. We’re going to shoot that a little bit down the road.”
Majors’ star continues its rapid ascent, building on his breakout roles in critically-acclaimed films such as The Last Black Man in San Francisco, HBO’s Lovecraft Country, Marvel’s Loki and his standout performance in Creed III, which helped secure the highest domestic box-office opening ever for a sports film. He also starred in The Harder They Fall, the acclaimed movie from Jeymes Samuel.
Majors also teased a compelling supernatural CIA thriller on his slate.
“There’s another picture, which is a great story about this man who is a CIA agent who essentially gets caught up in this spiritual route, and the spiritual realm becomes dark, and he’s got to deal with that,” Majors revealed. “And ultimately, it’s a story about a man. How far will a man go to save his wife from this spiritual damnation.”
Majors has seemingly overcome his controversial legal controversies, including a federal lawsuit alleging assault and defamation subsequently dropped by ex-girlfriend Grace Jabbari last November.

Will Smith cracked open the lid on his possible return to the Men in Black universe during a podcast appearance where he revealed Sony had just pitched him a new sequel only hours before he went on air.
“Literally this morning, an hour before I came down here, they just threw the bag for another Men in Black,” Smith said on the Million Dollaz Worth of Game podcast. “I was like, ‘Ah, I’m supposed to be going on tour this summer!'”
The Oscar winner told Gillie Da Kid and Wallo he had previously sworn off sequels.
“I told myself I was done with sequels,” he explained, adding, “I was like, ‘I’ve made enough sequels. I got some new things I want to make.'”
Despite his initial reluctance, the timing of the offer and the size of the deal appear to have made him reconsider.
Smith hinted that if he accepts, filming wouldn’t begin until after his summer tour, which runs from June 25 through September 2.
Sony is reportedly eager to redeem itself after the underwhelming reception of 2019’s Men in Black: International, which did not feature Smith or his longtime co-star Tommy Lee Jones.
The studio is said to believe that Smith’s absence contributed to the film’s lackluster performance and is now looking to reunite the original duo for a fifth installment.
The Men in Black franchise has pulled in nearly $1.94 billion globally since its 1997 debut, making it one of Sony’s most valuable properties.
Will Smith has not confirmed whether he’ll officially sign on for Men in Black 5, but the offer is clearly on the table.
Meanwhile, Smith recently released his latest album, Based on a True Story. Released on March 28, it marks Smith’s first musical project in 20 years since Lost and Found (2005).
Viola Davis admitted she misread Chadwick Boseman‘s need for special care on the set of Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom before learning he was quietly battling colon cancer.
In a conversation with The Times, Davis reflected on her initial reaction to Boseman’s on-set routine, which included massages and calming music provided by his girlfriend and makeup artist.
“There was a part of me that was a little judgmental — why do you need all that?” she said. “Little did I know that they were doing it because he was dying.”
Boseman, who died in August 2020 at age 43, had kept his diagnosis private from nearly everyone, including his co-stars.
He was first diagnosed with stage three colon cancer in 2016, which later advanced to stage four. Despite undergoing surgeries and chemotherapy, he continued to work in physically demanding roles, including Marshall, Da 5 Bloods and Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom.
Davis said she felt remorse after learning the truth, praising Boseman’s strength and commitment to his craft.
She previously called him a “beautiful man and artist” and said his legacy extends far beyond his role as King T’Challa in Black Panther. She added that his authenticity and integrity will continue influencing generations of actors.
“He was a hero not just for Black Panther but for being who he was,” Davis said during a previous interview with The Guardian, shortly after Chadwick Boseman’s passing in 2020.
Boseman’s final performance in Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom earned him a posthumous Academy Award nomination and a Screen Actors Guild Award for Best Male Actor.
He died at his Los Angeles home on August 28, 2020, surrounded by his wife, Taylor Simone Ledward and family.
