Corshawnda said her son has faced bullying at the school for more than two years and accused administrators of failing to intervene. Her daughter, she added, witnessed the entire assault.
“I asked my kids to come to the next side of the street with me so they wouldn’t get jumped, so we kept walking. They followed us all the way there, they hit my son first, dragged me in the grass and pulled my baby’s hair,” she said. “I’m trying to get justice for my son. I’m thankful to everybody that came out here to support me.”
The video, which quickly went viral, prompted outrage from the community and led to a rally outside the school on Tuesday morning.

BigXthaPlug will bring his booming voice and chart-topping catalog to the 2026 edition of Winter on the Rocks at Colorado’s Red Rocks Amphitheatre on February 7, anchoring a Hip-Hop-focused lineup that also features Smino, Mick Jenkins and PawPaw Rod.
The annual cold-weather concert, produced by AEG Presents Rocky Mountains and Icelantic Skis, returns for its 14th year as the only winter show held at the iconic outdoor venue.
Known for blending Colorado’s love of snow sports with live music, the event has become a staple of the state’s entertainment calendar.
“For 14 years, we’ve taken one of the world’s most iconic venues and turned it into a winter-playground of music, adventure, and community,” Sam Warren, founder of Winter on the Rocks, said. “Winter on the Rocks is where mountain spirit meets live-sound, and every year, we’re reminded that the cold doesn’t stop the energy—it just makes it more memorable.”
This year’s show also marks the 20th anniversary of Icelantic Skis, a Colorado-based brand known for its craftsmanship and connection to outdoor culture.
Big U was denied the chance to leave federal custody for his son’s funeral after a judge ruled he could not be trusted outside MDC Los Angeles, even for a tightly controlled religious burial.
The court instead offered a private viewing of his son’s body and a video link to watch the service. His detention order stays in place.
The decision ends a push by Big U to attend the Janazah for his eldest son, Jabari “Baby Uiie” Henley, who was shot and killed on October 31 in South Los Angeles.
Big U asked for a temporary release so he could wash and shroud the body according to Islamic custom, then attend the prayer service. His legal team proposed a restrictive setup: electronic monitoring, private security paid by his family, a fixed route, federal escort and no contact with anyone outside the funeral’s required steps.
But prosecutors pushed back hard. Their filing said he has spent his time in MDC Los Angeles breaking Bureau of Prisons rules “hundreds” of times.
They said he used other inmates’ BOP numbers to mask calls, had those inmates speak first so the system recognized their voices, then took the phone and told people on the outside to add third parties through encrypted apps.
He also warned callers not to greet him with Islamic phrases, as he said that could flag the account.
They said most of those calls were to his girlfriend. According to prosecutors, the two talked about hiding illicit photos inside legal folders to get them past mail screening and had phone sex during the recorded calls.
They also said he coached her on enrolling in a single paralegal class to qualify for “legal visitation” and sidestep MDC’s strict visitor limits.
They told the judge the danger went far beyond rule-breaking. They cited two statements captured during the investigation:
“If I would’ve had a problem with any man…, the issue would’ve been resolved, and he wouldn’t be here, or I wouldn’t be here,” and “Can’t no [one] beef with me . . . Cause if he do, I’mma kill him. Period. Point Blank. I. Am. Going. To. Murder. Him.”
Prosecutors argued he knows who cooperated against him and could act on those threats.
Big U remains held on a 43-count RICO indictment accusing him of leading the “Big U Enterprise,” extorting artists and athletes, misusing nonprofit money, committing fraud and killing aspiring rapper Rayshawn Williams in 2021.

This ain’t the old Biggavel from before, so you gotta love it,” Max B told Billboard. “This is what I think is attracting the people like, ‘Damn, we thought this n—a was gonna come out and do the same s—t.’ He’s a prime example of what you’re supposed to do when you come out. His reentry at its purest form. This man right here: Max Biggavel.”
Max B’s release follows a long and complicated legal journey.
He was originally sentenced in 2009 to 75 years in prison after being convicted on nine charges, including murder, armed robbery, and kidnapping.
The charges stemmed from a 2006 robbery attempt in Fort Lee, New Jersey, that left David Taylor dead. Prosecutors claimed Max B orchestrated the crime, though he denied direct involvement.
His legal situation shifted in 2016 when a judge vacated his original conviction due to ineffective legal representation and allowed a plea deal.
Max B then pleaded guilty to aggravated manslaughter and received a 20-year sentence. With credit for time served and reductions for good behavior, his time behind bars was ultimately cut to just over 16 years.
Now adjusting to life outside prison walls, the rapper is focused on reconnecting with his family, enjoying home-cooked meals and navigating modern technology.
“I done woke up in my bed a couple days straight, so I can’t complain, man, you know what I’m saying? Eating good food, got my wife, got my kids — I’m seeing my kids everyday — I got my electronics…I start trying to hook my s—t up, I couldn’t. I didn’t know what the f—k I was doing with that, but I’ma keep trying, you heard? It’s mine, I’ma figure that s—t out.”

JT paid tribute with her wallet and her voice, donating $5,000 to the funeral fund for TikTok personality Maurice Harrison, known online as Girlalala, after the 21-year-old was fatally shot in a domestic dispute in Lauderdale Lakes, Florida.
The City Girls rapper’s contribution was one of the largest made to a GoFundMe campaign started by Harrison’s family following the deadly shooting on November 15.
Harrison, a rising social media figure with nearly 300,000 followers, was killed after an argument with her boyfriend escalated into violence.
According to the Broward Sheriff’s Office, Shanoyd Whyte Jr., 25, was arrested and charged with first-degree murder after deputies found Harrison with multiple gunshot wounds in the passenger seat of his vehicle.
She was taken to Broward Health Medical Center but later died from her injuries.
Investigators said the couple’s argument began inside Whyte Jr.’s car and turned violent before he allegedly opened fire. Deputies recovered a firearm at the scene, and Whyte Jr. was taken into custody without incident.
Harrison, who described herself as a “wig influencer,” had built a loyal following through beauty content, humor and videos that often featured Whyte Jr.
The pair shared glimpses of their relationship online, including date nights and TikTok trends.
JT, who hails from Miami and makes up one half of the Hip-Hop duo City Girls alongside Yung Miami, posted a photo with Harrison on Instagram and urged her followers to support the funeral fund.

D4vd faces scrutiny from law enforcement officials who now consider him a primary suspect in the death of teenager Celeste Rivas, whose decomposed remains were discovered inside his abandoned Tesla vehicle.
Authorities are treating the case as a homicide investigation despite pending toxicology results from the Medical Examiner’s office, according to law enforcement sources with direct knowledge of the probe who spoke exclusively to TMZ.
The investigation has uncovered disturbing details about the musician’s activities during spring 2025, when sources claim he made a mysterious overnight journey to a remote location in Santa Barbara County, where he remained for several hours.
The significance of this trip and its connection to the ongoing probe remains unclear.
Celeste’s body was found severely decomposed inside a plastic bag in the front trunk of the Tesla after the vehicle was towed to an impound lot in early September.
The 15-year-old’s remains showed evidence of dismemberment, with investigators believing the manner of the body’s condition suggests multiple people were involved in the crime.
D4vdr had been residing in a Hollywood Hills rental property that became the subject of a police search for blood evidence. His Tesla was discovered abandoned on a nearby street before being impounded, leading to the grisly discovery.
No photographs or video footage of Celeste have surfaced since September 2024, raising additional questions about the timeline of events leading to her death.
LAPD officials confirmed Monday they are not close to making an arrest in the case, while the investigation continues to unfold. The department has not identified any additional suspects beyond D4vd at this time.
The artist’s representatives have not responded to requests for comment regarding the allegations.
Zola was arrested in Le Pin, Seine-et-Marne, after police say the French Hip-Hop artist and three others kidnapped and violently beat a 19-year-old fan who approached the rapper’s home asking for a photo.
The 26-year-old performer, born Aurélien N’Zuzi Zola, is accused of orchestrating a disturbing two-hour attack that allegedly included beatings, threats with firearms and humiliation inside his residence.
According to Le Parisien, the victim was stripped, forced to watch his clothes burn, beaten and had a gun shoved in his mouth before being taken to the basement, where assailants allegedly fired “bursts of gunfire from a long gun very close to him.”
Authorities in Meaux charged Zola and his associates with kidnapping and aggravated assault with a weapon. The investigation is ongoing as police continue to collect evidence.
The incident reportedly began when the teenager arrived at Zola’s home hoping for a quick photo.
Instead, the “Amber” rapper allegedly emerged with a group of masked and armed men. The teen ran, but was chased down, captured and dragged back to the property while his friends got away.
Once inside, the violence escalated. The attackers allegedly forced the teen to undress, burned his clothes and beat him. A handgun was reportedly placed in his mouth.
Later, he was taken to the basement, where the group allegedly fired close-range gunshots near him. Before releasing him, they allegedly stole his phone and bank card.
The group then walked the victim back to his car, which had been vandalized, tires slashed, mirrors broken. According to Le Parisien, the group threatened to kill him if he contacted authorities.
The victim fled to nearby relatives before reporting the incident to police.
Zola, who rose to fame in 2016 and gained mainstream success with his debut album Cicatrices in 2019, has built a massive online following with more than 2 million social media followers.
His 2022 single “Amber” topped the French charts and helped cement his status as a rising star in the country’s Hip-Hop scene.
He recently collaborated with fellow rapper Koba LaD on the 2024 album Frères ennemis, which debuted at number one in France.

The Toronto rapper dropped a tennis-themed photoset with the “Pound Town” rapper on Monday, captioning it, “I said tennis lesson she said where’s the bracelet or the necklace.”
If you’re not familiar, Serena Williams and Drake had a thing going on from around 2011 to 2015.
He was popping up courtside at her matches, and while they never officially confirmed anything, it was pretty clear something was going on.

6ix9ine asked a federal judge to delay his sentencing and let him relocate his family after four masked gunmen invaded his Florida home and held his 60-year-old mother at gunpoint.
The rapper’s lawyer, Lance Lazzaro, filed a letter with U.S. District Judge Paul A. Engelmayer on November 18 requesting an adjournment of 6ix9ine’s sentencing, which had been set for November 20, 2025, in Manhattan federal court.
The filing states that 6ix9ine, whose real name is Daniel Hernandez, is seeking to relocate his family for safety and that the proposed relocation “is subject to approval from the Probation Department.”
“The reason for this request is that Mr. Hernandez was the victim of a home invasion on Sunday, November 16. Four masked men entered his home and held his mother at gunpoint while several items were taken from his home,” Lazzaro wrote.
Lazzaro also told the judge that federal prosecutors consented to the request. “My office has been in contact with AUSA Jonathan Rebold, and he consents to this request,” the attorney wrote.
The break-in occurred at 6ix9ine’s Lake Worth home, where he has been living under supervised release.
Authorities confirmed the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office responded to the scene and opened an investigation. No arrests have been announced.
The letter marks the latest development in 6ix9ine’s ongoing legal troubles.
He has been under court supervision since pleading guilty in 2019 to racketeering and weapons charges and cooperating with the government’s case against the Nine Trey Gangsta Bloods.
His cooperation earned him a reduced sentence, but he has since faced several probation violations and public altercations that put him back under federal scrutiny.
Judge Engelmayer has not yet ruled on the adjournment request. If granted, sentencing would move from November 20 to sometime in January.
Memphis Bleek once had a two-story penthouse nearly in his hands, thanks to a generous offer from Jay-Z, but the deal vanished the moment someone else came up with $4 million.
During a recent talk on Bleek’s Roc Solid Podcastfeaturing Big Face Gary, the rapper recalled a moment when Hov offered him a luxury apartment he no longer wanted.
