Nicki Minaj Makes History With First Solo Female Rap Song To Debut At No. 1 Since 1998

Nicki Minaj’s “Super Freaky Girl” debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100, putting her in rare company alongside Lauryn Hill.

The Republic Records artist became the first woman to have a solo rap track debut at No. 1 since Lauryn Hill accomplished the feat with “Doo Wop (That Thing)” in 1998. “Super Freaky Girl” marked Nicki Minaj’s first No. 1 hit without any artists accompanying her on the song.

Nicki Minaj previously reached the top of the Hot 100 with the help of Doja Cat and Tekashi 6ix9ine. She appeared on Doja Cat’s smash hit “Say So” and teamed with Tekashi 6ix9ine for the chart-topper “Trollz.”

“Super Freaky Girl” secured the No. 1 spot on the latest Hot 100 thanks to 21.1 million streams, 4.6 million radio airplay audience impressions and 89,000 downloads sold in its first week. Nicki Minaj’s latest single also debuted at No. 1 on Billboard’s Streaming Songs and Digital Song Sales charts.

Nicki Minaj originally dropped “Super Freaky Girl” on August 12. She released her “Roman Remix” of the song on August 18. The remix added a new verse to the track, which samples Rick James’ classic “Super Freak.”

Tiffany Haddish Is Dating Her Ass Off

Tiffany Haddish is enjoying getting back into the dating scene and meeting “potential suitors.”

During an interview for the September 2022 issue of Cosmopolitan magazine, the “Girls Trip” actress was asked whether she was dating again following her split from Common in November 2021 following a year-long relationship.

And while Tiffany is “queendom-building right now,” she also confirmed that she is looking for love.

“I have been dating my ass off. That’s one thing that’s been really great. I know all the fine restaurants now,” the 42-year-old shared. “I got a date coming up where I’m dining in the dark. You order your food before you go in, and you go in, and it’s dark, and the food is supposed to be really good because you can’t see.”

Elsewhere in the chat, Tiffany also insisted that she puts comfort first when she is going on a date.

“Put on something cute but not too fancy. Be ready for if you go dancing, some shoes that are cute but comfy. I don’t want to be complaining. I’ll wait until date three or four to be that date,” she explained. “I’ll do something uncomfortable and see how he handles my discomfort because you need to know that before you lay down with a man, unless he’s going to be the jump-off (casual hook-up).”

Fetty Wap Heading To Prison For At Least 5 Years Over Role In Massive Drug Dealing Operation

Fetty Wap faces a minimum of five years in prison after accepting a plea deal in a drug trafficking case.

According to multiple reports, Fetty Wap pleaded guilty to conspiracy to possess and distribute 500 grams or more of cocaine on Monday (August 22). No date for his sentencing has been set, but his attorney requested an expedited sentencing date.

Last year, Fetty Wap and five others were indicted for allegedly running a multi-million-dollar drug trafficking ring. Prosecutors said the scheme involved transporting drugs from the West Coast to distribute in Long Island and New Jersey.

Fetty Wap, whose real name is William Junior Maxwell II, was released on a $500,000 bond following his 2021 arrest. But earlier this month, a judge revoked the rapper’s bond due to alleged threats.

“Specifically, on or about December 11, 2021, John Doe was on a FaceTime call with the defendant WILLIE JUNIOR MAXWELL II, also known as ‘Fetty Wap,’ also known as ‘Willie Junior Maxwell,’” the feds said in a court document. “The government received a video recording of this FaceTime call … During this video, the defendant is shown holding a gun and pointing it towards John Doe.”

The feds continued, “The defendant then says to John Doe ‘Imma kill you and everybody you with,’ which he then repeats one more time … The defendant then continues to threaten John Doe, saying ‘I’m gonna kill you,’ a threat which he repeats several more times throughout the video call … Additionally, after John Doe called the defendant a rat, the defendant responded by saying, ‘Your man is a rat.’”

Fetty Wap avoided a potential life sentence by taking a plea deal. But he will spend somewhere between 87 and 108 months in prison for his role in the drug operation.

SadBoy Loko On Santa Barbara Roots & Forthcoming Project “Sin Fronteras”

SadBoy Loko is a “Gangsta Fo Life,” per his most recent release… and he’s here to put on for his Chicano community any chance he can. Born and raised in sunny Santa Barbara, the West Coast rapper has been through hell and back, and he’s here to inspire and motivate the masses with his music.

In fact, after spending the majority of 2018 through 2020 behind bars, SadBoy Loko made it his mission to step away from the darker street anthems, elevating his purpose by highlighting the strength it takes to overcome life obstacles.

And of course, he’s no stranger to the music industry. Previously signed to YG’s 4Hunnid imprint speaks volumes in itself, but SadBoy Loko has much bigger dreams on the horizon.

His past hit singles have done skyrocketing numbers, with the “Gang Signs” video accumulating over 68 million views and “Bruisin” featuring YG and the late Slim 400 with over 36 million views.

Fast forward to today, SadBoy Loko is back with yet another banger, this time a hit for the summer called “Palm Trees” featuring Kap G and West Coast rapper YBE. This follows the release of “Controlando las Calles,” where he spits in both Spanish and English, leading up to his newest project titled Sin Fronteras.

AllHipHop spoke with SadBoyLoko at B-Real’s compound in downtown Los Angeles moments before he stopped into The Dr. Greenthumb Show. Read below as we discuss his background, love for Snoop, his name, new release “Palm Trees,” his new project, signing to YG, relationship with Slim 400, goals, and more!

AllHipHop: First off, I actually went to UCSB for 2 years.

SadBoy Loko: Ah s###, so you’re familiar with Santa Barbara.

AllHipHop: Absolutely. What was it like growing up there? It’s such a vibe.

SadBoy Loko: I mean, it’s lit. You’ve got that part with the turn up kids over there, and you already know. You’ve got the college students over here on UCSB, so it’s a little mixture of everything.

AllHipHop: Were you partying in Isla Vista early on?

SadBoy Loko: I partied like 3 or 4 times over there. Those kids are a little something else, you know what I’m talking about. Those parties are a little over the edge. [laughs] You know.

AllHipHop: When did you fall in love with music?

SadBoy Loko: A young age, like 15 or 16. It was just hip hop/rap. Gangsta s### was usually what I always listened to. The first one was Tha Eastsidaz, with some Snoop Dogg s###. I grew up to Tha Eastsidaz s###, because all the other artists were Westside. Bumping Westside music.

AllHipHop: When did you realize you could do music for a living?

SadBoy Loko: When I started getting royalties out of it. [laughs] When you start getting paid finally, you’re like “we can do this.”

AllHipHop: Was there a song that really blew up for you?

SadBoy Loko: My first one was “I’m Still Here,” then a few other ones came after. “Gang Signs” and a lot of them started coming after, so they started catching on.

AllHipHop: And you’re still independent right?

SadBoy Loko: Nah, I’m with Prajin Music. It’s a Latin label, but I was the first gangsta rapper to sign there.

AllHipHop: How did you get your name?

SadBoy Loko: My name comes from the hood. It’s not like these other fools, you just pick and choose right there with your crew. My s### came from my neighborhood, that’s my nickname. Once I started rapping, I just followed my name. Sadboy Loko.

AllHipHop: Are you a SadBoy?

SadBoy Loko: At that time, look. I’m going to give you the intel, just because you went to UCSB. I was high when I got my name, I was really blown. They’re like “hey, who’s this SadBoy looking m###########?” It just stuck onto me.

AllHipHop: And Loko? Are you loko?

SadBoy Loko: That evolved after. That just came with it, it stuck on after.

https://youtu.be/AqUft7lP_50

AllHipHop: Obviously, “Palm Trees” is going crazy. Kap G’s the homie too, talk about linking with him and what inspired that record.

SadBoy Loko: My producer Cricket came with the idea, he had Kap G on it with the hook. He set the vibes. Once he had set that vibe, I just added that Loko to it. That little taste of it, a good taste and he came back with it. That’s a nice song, it came out tight. Real summer vibes.

AllHipHop: How does it feel to be hitting a few million?

SadBoy Loko: It’s cool, that song’s lit. It’s lit, it’s a little summer anthem right there. Bump the summer.

AllHipHop: What’s the best memory from the music video?

SadBoy Loko: The palm trees. It had this little breeze through them.

AllHipHop: What does it mean to be a “Gangsta Fo Life”?

SadBoy Loko: That one was a bonus, we had to add that on there. One of the gangsterest ones. Probably one of the only gangsta jams on there, but “Gangsta Fo Life” you know? Take the boy out the hood, but you can’t take the hood out the boy.

AllHipHop: What can we expect from your new album, Sin Fronteras?

SadBoy Loko: Sin Fronteras. A little bit of everything. You ever had a pizza with all flavors? With all toppings? Well, it’s something like that. You can get a little bit of everything. Some gangsta s###, some regional, some banda. Some rock jams in there, some love jams, you name it.

AllHipHop: What does the title mean?

SadBoy Loko: Sin Fronteras: without barriers. No walls, nothing can stop me type thing. That’s how I meant it.

AllHipHop: Any other features?

SadBoy Loko: Lupillo Rivera, Jorge Gamboa, Kap G. There’s a few artists on there.

AllHipHop: Talk about rapping in both Spanish and English, and what that means to be able to put on for your culture.

SadBoy Loko: I mean, it’s just cool. A little bit of Spanglish gets you in all doors. All doors open when you can… it’s a good thing.

AllHipHop: What is it you want fans to get from your story?

SadBoy Loko: Just the background of it. Get to really know me, not just from the image. You can actually listen to the music, vibe out to it and get to know a m###########.

AllHipHop: How did you end up signing to YG’s 4Hunnid?

SadBoy Loko: That s### came out of nowhere. But when it happened, it happened. We just linked up, it was on some hood s###. First did “Don’t Come to LA,” then from there got signed to them.

AllHipHop: How did you end up meeting?

SadBoy Loko: S### was random, I talked to him through FaceTime. Went on my vacation, got out and then signed to Prajin.

AllHipHop: Slim 400 was my friend too, he was just so full of life.

SadBoy Loko: Yeah, that’s the boy. RIP, rest in peace Slim. We were cool. Right when I got out, I took him on my first shows. I brought him out, we were doing “Bruisin” together. We were cool, that’s the boy. Rest in peace.

AllHipHop: What was your reaction when you found out that he passed?

SadBoy Loko: Man, it was unexpected. Sometimes still trip out, but what can I say?

AllHipHop: Do you have a highlight from “Bruisin”? Because that song really took off.

SadBoy Loko: How it first came about, we were just chillin’. We put it on and he’s like “hey drop something. Drop something. Man come on, do your stuff.” What? Just turned up. It came out and YG hopped on it, because that s### was just a banger. Slim handled it, then I came in with that Michelada s###, oh it was done with.

AllHipHop: 3 things you need in the studio at all times?

SadBoy Loko: Me, Hennessey, and some weed. That’s it, I don’t need nobody else. Oh the producer and engineer, and that’s it.

AllHipHop: I saw you talk to students recently at Santa Barbara City College.

SadBoy Loko: That was cool, that was an experience. I had the pleasure of talking back with the kids, with the youth fresh out of high school so that was a good experience. Because I actually attended Running Start when I was fresh out of juvenile hall. It was cool, I got to talk to them like some real life stuff, how to be productive and successful.. That was a good part.

AllHipHop: How does it feel to be on the cover of Santa Barbara Independent?

SadBoy Loko: Man that was good, shout out to them. Because the first time I was on the cover for not the positive side. Now this time, it was on some positivity. It was good.

AllHipHop: Do you have any goals for yourself?

SadBoy Loko: Keep striving, keep grinding. Sky’s the limit. Don’t settle for less, just keep going.

AllHipHop: Anything else you want the people to know about you?

SadBoy Loko: Keep your head up, don’t give up in life. Other than that, go Loko baby.

Trapboy Freddy Says He Is ‘Innocent’ And Family Is Working To Get His Tiger Back

After being released from federal custody, Dallas rapper Trapboy Freddy talks about being arrested and losing his tiger cub, Nyla.

He and his aunt, Paula Biggurs, talked to WFAA News, sharing details about his exotic pet and what’s next for the artist, who got out of the law’s grips on Friday, August 19th

Trapboy Freddy, whose real name is Devarius Dontez Moore, was not as forthcoming as his aunt but did share a little with the fans, saying, “I’m innocent but God will sort it out for me.”

AllHipHop.com reported earlier this week that several agencies plucked the rapper as a part of an ongoing weapons investigation.

The federal authorities arrested and charged him with possessing a firearm by a felon. While searching his home, law enforcement identified the baby tiger and sent her to animal control.

Biggurs said the artist received the kitten when it was not even a month old, calling Nyla “a sweet cub” and saying she was “just a baby.”

While talking about if the cub would be permitted to be reunited with the rapper, she said, “We are waiting on the paperwork, and it’s not a problem.”

There may be a problem. A federal judge said a part of the conditions for his release is that the rapper cannot “have wild or dangerous animals in his presence.”

The aunt continued, despite what the judge said, “He likes all animals and looking to open up an animal business. Something positive.”

“He’s not who people make him out to be. We all have a past but over the last year, last decade, he’s been doing good,” said the relative.

The family says Trapboy Freddy has been doing well and serving the community by giving out school supplies and toys during the holiday to underserved children – doing this work for at least ten years.

Still, he has been caught up in these firearm charges after being arrested in Kaufman County when he was pulled over not too long ago. Officers found a gun in his car that didn’t belong to him in the vehicle.

“I Don’t Care…” Man Who Stole $10M In Jewels From Kim Kardashian Speaks About Taking From The Rich Influencer

One of the robbers that got Kim Kardashian during her 2016 European visit has commented on the event that she has said was one of the most horrifying events of her life. He said, “I don’t care.”

According to Vice News, the men called the “Grandpa Robbers” in their 60s and 70s, stole millions worth of jewelry, including her ring worth $4.5 million, totaling over $10 million.

Yunis Abba said he and his colleagues watched her on social media and decided they would get her because she shared so much of her personal information on Instagram.

“I went on the internet, and it’s true, I saw her jewelry, I saw her ring, I saw that she showed it everywhere, and we knew this information through social media,” Abbas said. “We knew that she was coming for Fashion Week, so we went there to do some more reconnaissance.”

After discussing plotting on her, knowing it was Fashion Week in Paris and coming to where she was staying, he detailed what came next.

They came in, beat and tied up the concierge, took the keys to her room, and then lurked until they saw the opportunity to get the goods.

Then they went through her stuff, and the rest is history.

Abbas spoke about how he feels about what he did.

“I saw one of her shows where she threw her diamond in the pool in that episode of ‘Keeping Up with the Kardashians.’ I thought, ‘She’s got a lot of money. This lady doesn’t care at all,’” Abbas said.

“Since she was throwing money away, I was there to collect it, and that was that,” Abbas added. “Guilty? No, I don’t care.”

Abbas said he realized what he did to Kardashian probably traumatized her. Abbas acknowledged that the alleged ordeal likely traumatized Kardashian.

Though Abbas was arrested, he was eventually released because of his poor health, but the hustler didn’t let his being “sick” stop him from getting to another bag … this time legally.

In 2020, he released a book about the robbery. We said “legally” … didn’t say he wasn’t foul.

YOU PAID MORE THAN DONALD TRUMP IN TAXES: He Paid The IRS $750 In The Year 2017

The average blue-collar working American paid more taxes in 2016 than former president Donald Trump.

It is true. Remember how his opponents kept asking him to release his tax statements, and he would not?

That’s because, according to a 2020 New York Times article, he only paid $750 in income tax that year, the year he was sworn into office as president.

The newspaper also discovered through the records they obtained that 10 out of 15 years, he paid nothing, using his multiple failed businesses and many loans to tap into loopholes for the rich.

Though the news is old, people are responding on Twitter like it ain’t sweet.

“Any of the 87,000 New IRS agents have my permission to ensure Donald Trump pays more than $750 in Federal Tax.”

“WHAT? $750? Are you kidding me?!?! I’m on disability and paid more than that!! This is why he didn’t want his taxes released! He didn’t pay any!! $750 is pocket change to him! RIDICULOUS!!!”

“Even Trumpers know that is CHEATING!”

“In 2019 I paid more in income taxes than Donald Trump and Jeff Bezos combined. You probably did too. That’s because Trump paid $750 and Bezos paid nothing. Something is wrong with this picture.”

Will Smith Comes Out Of Hiding With Gorilla Social Media Post

Will Smith has returned to social media with his first post in months that isn’t about his Oscars slap controversy.

The “King Richard” star posted a funny video on Instagram; a baby gorilla poking an adult gorilla which he captioned “me trying to get back on social.”

It marks the first time the 53-year-old has updated his site with content relating to something other than the now-infamous slap he dealt Chris Rock at the 2022 Oscars ceremony in March.

During the 94th Academy Awards live telecast, Smith walked onstage and hit presenter Rock for a joke he made about Smith’s wife, Jada Pinkett Smith.

Following the incident, the actor posted a written apology on his Instagram. Four months later in July, he addressed the incident again in an Instagram video. He has not otherwise posted on the platform in that time.

Following the funny video, the Oscar winner posted again on Sunday with a video of himself and his son Trey finding a massive spider in their hotel room.

Issa Rae Details Technique To Find Work/life Balance

Issa Rae needs to schedule downtime into her calendar otherwise, she won’t ever stop working.

The actress became exhausted in 2021 when she had to fit in finishing the final season of “Insecure,” executive producing the first season of “Rap Sh!t,” filming an episode of the AppleTV+ anthology series “Roar,” running her media company HOORAE, and getting married to Louis Diame.

In an interview with TODAY’s digital magazine, Issa revealed that the experience made her actively carve out time for rest in her schedule.

“Last year taught me that the balance needs to be planned in advance for me, because, otherwise, I would just work, work, work, work, work,” she said. “Even after Insecure, like a dummy, I did an episode of ‘Roar.’ Then I flew to France (for the wedding), and I was like, ‘Why did I need to do that? I could have taken that two weeks in between to chill and prepare and do all these things?’ But I chose to do this episode. It was a great experience… but I know myself. I know how frustrated and/or tired I can get in some cases, and I’m not doing my best when I’m like that.”

Issa makes sure her team knows about her time off so they don’t keep tempting her to fill up her calendar with projects.

“Because people will try you,” she explained. “They’ll be like, ‘Oh, this is coming up, are you sure? There’s this much money here, are you sure?'”

The 37-year-old finally took time for herself in January after the “Insecure” finale aired.

She went travelling and “finally got a chance to just chill and think,'” but admitted that not working for all of the month was difficult for her.

EXCLUSIVE: Young Thug Could Lose $6 Million And YSL Brand In Battle With AEG

Young Thug has a date set for a trial- and this one has nothing to do with the high-profile RICO charges he faces.

The rap star is locked in a multi-million battle with concert behemoth AEG, which could significantly deplete his resources.

AEG is seeking the return of a $5 million advance for the exclusive rights to all of Young Thug’s concerts. The issues between the rapper and AEG started well before his problems with prosecutors in Georgia.

In December 2020, AEG says Young Thug signed an agreement in 2017, taking the considerable advance. But almost immediately, the rap star breached their contract.

AEG claims that although they had the exclusive rights to Young Thug’s concerts, he kept the booking shows on the side while collecting hundreds of thousands of dollars in performance fees.

“Despite having granted AEG the exclusive right to promote Mr. Williams’ concert performances under the terms of the 2017 Artist Agreement, YSL and Mr. Williams immediately failed and refused to honor their respective obligations under the 2017 Artist Agreement by, among other things, disregarding AEG’s rights, performing concerts without AEG’s involvement, and retaining all proceeds generated therefrom,” AEG’s lawyer, Kathleen Jorrie explained.

Eventually, AEG hit Young Thug with a breach of contract claim and demanded the return of their $5 million, plus interest.

The company also claims Young Thug put up some of his intellectual property rights as collateral in the agreement.

As a result, AEG believes they have the right to take control of the Young Stoner Life brands, portions of his publishing catalog, and the Young Thug trademark to recoup the $5 million the rapper was advanced.

Young Thug initially ignored the allegations but eventually filed a reply to the lawsuit, denying the claims. In September of 2021, the rapper and his lawyers held talks settlement with AEG, but the parties could not come to an agreement.

AEG and Young Thug were set to square off in court over the money on October 25th, 2022, but that trial was delayed when he was hit with RICO charges for allegedly being the leader of the Young Slime Life street gang.

Last month, AEG’s lawyers marched into court to ask a judge for a one-year extension, asking for the trial to start after Young Thug is tried on the RICO charges.

Now, Young Thug and AEG will go to trial with a tentative date set for October 24th, 2023. AEG is seeking at least $6 million in damages, the rights to YSL and the name Young Thug, and attorney fees.

Afroman Blasts Ohio Police After House Is Raided In Donald Trump-Like “Witch Hunt”

Rapper Afroman, the voice behind the early 2000s hit weed anthem “Because I Got High,” was believed to be housing narcotics in his Ohio residence, prompting the sheriff’s department in his town to raid his home.

According to TMZ, the Adams County Sheriff’s Department raided his home on Sunday, August 21st. Witnesses say the officers burst on the property with their firearms out and shouting orders … but he was not home.

Instead, the chart-topper, whose real name is Joseph Edgar Foreman, was out of town, visiting the city of Chicago.

His neighbors notified him about the raid and sent him video and photos of the police activity.

The 48-year-old cannabis smoker claims he was being profiled because of the content of his music.

AllHipHop.com reported that the performer retired from “doing shows” after he was arrested for smacking a woman on stage at one of his concerts in 2015.

On his official Facebook page, Afroman announced he would continue recording music and shooting videos, but his days of hitting the stage are apparently over.

In part, he wrote about having a particular clause put in his performance contracts, demanding “security watch stage and politely discourage anyone from jumping on stage.” But that did not happen.

He said federal agencies like the IRS and DEA were constantly hounding him, and so when the security detail was not set up, he became “frustrated,” and those pressures “busted” his “pipes to the point where,” as he confessed to his fans, “I have disrespected another human being twice.”

Seven years later, Afroman is back in the headlines, but he really didn’t do anything this time. The sheriff’s department found no evidence of drugs.

He said, despite all his songs about getting lifted, only a jar of hemp and a vape pen was found.

Outraged about this incident, he took to social media again.

Afroman posted on Instagram, “One time my house got burglarize while I was on tour. For home insurance purposes I tried to fill out a police report. The cop came out three days later he told me they was really busy. He took my report. I would call every day and see if there was any progress being made. The Adams County sheriff department threaten to arrest me for checc-ing up on the case too frequently.”

“I excepted the fact that the police department is not necessary here to protect and serve me a blacc man in America so I just took my loss and never called back,” he continued. “Now here they are kicc-ing in my door looking for weapons of mass destruction and 100,000,000 pounds of weed lol wow Donald Trump calls these investigations witchhunts.”

The law enforcement agency has not commented on the raid.

Is Nicki Minaj Shading Megan Thee Stallion’s Sales Of Traumazine

Is Nicki Minaj shading Megan Thee Stallion? This is the quintessential question people are asking.

It sure seems so! Internets loose I speculating that Nicki Minaj is not letting go the fact that Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion linked up in song. It appears that Megan‘s lackluster showing on the charts has been cause for celebration for one of her detractors.

This could all be speculation and the internet doing too much, but it does seem like Niki is taking little jabs at her competition with the recent revelation that Traumazine is waning a little bit.

As far as I’m concerned, the album itself is one of Megan‘s best. In fact I find it to be a very enjoyable album more so than some of the other ones that she’s put out in recent times. I don’t know what her hard-core fans are saying, and that’s none of my business. I actually have no regard for the opinions of your average, casual rap fan these days. There are a few of them that are more diehard that I do listen to, but for the most part, their opinions are trash and rooted in ignorance. Part of that ignorance may be the fact that Nicki Minaj was rap’s reigning queen for so very long and they did not respect that as much as they should have when Cardi B popped up on the scene. Cardi B has not waned one bit, but people have tried to turn their back on Nicki Minaj.

Meanwhile, this year Nicki has seen a flourishing unlike we have seen since she started out in the game. This time, she doesn’t need Kanye West, Rick Ross or Jay-Z. to make it happen. She’s actually doing it on her own terms and getting chart topping music without the need of any other celebrities. She’s the OG at this point.

So, why would someone think that Nicki Minaj is low-key slandering Megan Thee Stallion? As the sales revelations were made public, Nicki made some random, yet telling Twitter post. They just had her laughing, for example she didn’t make a direct comment, but they coincided with the revelation of some of the seals From her presumed adversary. And that is largely why people are thinking she is shading Megan Thee Stallion. Personally, Megan Thee Stallion seems to be a very sweet and genuine person. The only person I know that she has major beef with is Tory Lanez. And that is a whole different story.

Alec Baldwin Lives In Fear Of Donald Trump MAGA Supporters After “Rust” Shooting

Alec Baldwin feared for his safety after former U.S. President Donald Trump commented on the fatal shooting on the set of “Rust.”

Last October, the “30 Rock” actor’s prop gun was accidentally discharged during a rehearsal for a scene in Santa Fe, New Mexico, killing cinematographer Halyna Hutchins and wounding director Joel Souza.

The following month, Trump called Baldwin a “troubled guy” in a radio interview, and in a recent chat with CNN, the 64-year-old recalled how he became “nervous” that the politician’s comments would incite his fanbase – similar to what happened with the U.S. Capitol attack on January 6th 2021.

“The former president of the United States said (I) probably shot her on purpose. To me, (that was) the only time I thought about… that I worried about what was going to happen to me. Because here was Trump who instructed people to commit acts of violence and he was pointing the finger at me and saying I was responsible for the death,” he said.

“A bunch of people were instructed by the former president to go to the Capitol, and they killed a law enforcement officer. They killed somebody. You don’t think I thought to myself, ‘Are some of those people going to come and kill me?'”

Baldwin alleged “the trigger wasn’t pulled” during a TV special that aired in December.

But earlier this month, officials from the U.S. Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) released a forensic report to ABC News in which they rejected his claim. Following “accidental discharge testing,” the FBI officers concluded that the gun “could not be made to fire without a pull of the trigger.”

In the CNN interview, Baldwin maintained his innocence and reaffirmed his hope that he won’t be held criminally responsible.

However, he did place responsibility for the accident on armourer/props assistant Hannah Gutierrez-Reed and assistant director Dave Halls.

“I’m pretty confident neither one of them should ever work in a film set again,” the actor continued. “I sincerely believe … (investigators are) going to say that this was an accident. It’s tragic.”

The incident is still being investigated by the Santa Fe County Sheriff’s Office. No charges or arrests have been made.

Baldwin and “Rust” producers were named as defendants in a wrongful death lawsuit filed by the cinematographer’s widower Matthew Hutchins in February.

Cardi B Takes On UFC Fighter Over Right-Wing Comparison

Cardi B has responded to a UFC fighter who compared her to far-right influencer Andrew Tate.

After fighter Jake Shields defended far-right influencer Andrew from criticism by comparing him to Cardi in a new Twitter post, the rapper shut the comparison down.

Tate was recently banned from Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok for violating their policies on hate speech and promoting dangerous organizations or individuals, – which prompted Shields to defend Tate’s comments.

“People are freaking out about young boys looking up to Andrew Tate but totally fine with young girls looking up to Cardi B and the Kardashians,” the UFC star began.

“Tate’s Main message is stop being lazy and making excuses and go work hard and get in shape and make money. Cardi’s Is go do drugs, f### random men and go through life as a brain dead M####.

“Dozens of rapers Have songs glorifying murder but Andrew Tate’s the biggest problem (sic).”

In a now-deleted tweet, Cardi replied to Shields: “I’m married, I don’t smoke weed, I don’t pop pills, I don’t do coke.”

Having corrected Shields’s assertion that she likes to “do drugs,” the “Up” rapper continued: “I’m a mom of 2 kids and I do a lot of charity work… but hey let me put cardi into it to defend a man who defend misogyny and rape.”

Joell Ortiz Hints At Dropping A Diss Record Directed At Royce Da 5’9

Slaughterhouse is no more. That outcome became very clear earlier this year when a public spat broke out between two sides of the former group – KXNG Crooked and Joell Ortiz versus Joe Budden and Royce da 5’9.

The Rise and Fall of Slaughterhouse album by KXNG Crooked and Joell Ortiz appeared to be one of the catalysts for the tense back-and-forth on social media. The self-described “blue-collar emcees” further addressed the Slaughterhouse fallout on Instagram Live.

KXNG Crooked made it clear he does not have any hatred towards Royce da 5’9. However, the Instagram conversation included Joell Ortiz suggesting he could take verbal shots at Royce on a future song.

“I’m not above a diss record, my n####,” Ortiz told Crooked. “All I did on that last album was tell the f###### truth. I told the fans why there was no more Slaughterhouse. That’s it. I didn’t call n##### out their name. I didn’t do anything but say the truth.”

The Brooklyn-bred rhymer also added, “But if n##### keep it up, I’m not above a diss record… So just leave me alone. I’m not bothering you. I said my truth. I haven’t mentioned anything since March.”

In addition, Joell Ortiz reference Royce da 5’9’s recent appearance on Math Hoffa’s My Expert Opinion podcast. During that interview, Nickel Nine claimed KXNG Crooked and Joell Ortiz damaged the Slaughterhouse brand by dividing the group’s fan base.

“We’re talking months later, and nobody has said nothing about nothing,” stated Joell Ortiz about the Slaughterhouse breakup discussion resurfacing this month. “You’ve had time to think about your thoughts and how you want to roll things out.”

Royce Da 5’9 just released The Heaven Experience Vol. 1 compilation on August 12. The Detroit-based performer also teased a possible joint project with Black Thoughts of The Roots. KXNG Crooked and Joell Ortiz’s The Rise and Fall of Slaughterhouse came out in March.

‘Black Ink Crew’ Star O’Sh*t Arrested For DUI & Drugs

In the public eye, it has been a rough year for certain alumni of VH1’s Black Ink Crew. After the cancellation of Ceaser Emanuel, fellow cast member Richard “O’S###” Duncan apparently added his name to that list of 2022 misfortunes.

TMZ reports law enforcement officers in Georgia arrested O’S### back in July for driving under the influence. Apparently, police initially pulled over the tattoo artist’s vehicle for speeding.

The officers then administered a field sobriety test on O’S###. During a search of his car, the cops supposedly discovered a bag of cocaine in the center cup holder.

Authorities charged O’S### with speeding, DUI, driving with an open container of alcohol, and possession of a controlled substance. He pled not guilty to the charges, according to reports.

I’ve been having a hard time,” wrote O’S### on his Instagram page. “I was diagnosed as bipolar about 2 years ago and it’s been a hard-ass journey navigating the ups and downs of this disease, my sobriety journey, being a new business owner- and just LIFE.”

He added, “Last month I did something really stupid during a manic episode and consequently, got a DUI. I do not condone drinking and driving, drug use, or acting out – mental illness or not. I did something that was so dumb, pointless, and honestly embarrassing.”

O’S### went on to write that he is working on accountability and honesty. He also apologized for letting anyone down with his actions. The reality show star stated, “I openly accept the consequences of my actions and I am actively working with my doctors, therapists, and group to get back on track.”

Notorious B.I.G.’s Daughter Posts Boyfriend’s $1M Bond In NYC Hit-And-Run Case

T’yanna Wallace posted a $1 million bond Wednesday to secure the release of her boyfriend after he was arrested for a hit-and-run in New York earlier this month that injured three people.

Tyshawn Baldwin reportedly mowed down three pedestrians, including a mother and toddler, in the incident on August 10. Fox News reports he was allegedly fleeing the cops following a routine traffic stop in Queens when he plowed into a small group of people. He was arrested six days later after turning himself into the authorities.

Cops hit Baldwin with 17 criminal charges, including first-degree assault, unlawful fleeing from a police officer, endangering the welfare of a child, and reckless endangerment.

He was held on a $1 million bond, but T’yanna Wallace, who shares an infant daughter with her long-time beau, bailed him out two days later. According to Fox News, court documents reveal Biggie Small’s daughter put up her $1.5 million Brooklyn home as bond using the services of Ira Judelson.

Baldwin was reportedly initially compliant with officers’ instructions during the traffic stop but sped off when cops realized he was driving with a suspended license. He then hit a mother pushing her 2-year-old daughter in a stroller and a food delivery man. All three suffered injuries and were treated in hospital.

“I do want to remind everyone he’s presumed innocent and there’s more to this story than the NYPD’s version,” Belkin told Fox News Digital. “My client is a good man, who has never been in trouble before.”

Baldwin is scheduled to return to court on October 18. If convicted, he could face up to 25 years behind bars.
