A$AP Rocky has been released from jail after being arrested on Wednesday (Apr. 21) in connection with a November shooting.
NBC News report A$AP walked out of jail within three hours of his arrest after posting bond, set at $550,000. They also claim to have received information from “multiple law enforcement sources familiar with the matter” that Rihanna was with the father of her child when he was arrested. Cops executed a search warrant at Rocky’s LA residence. A court date has been set for Aug. 17.
The pair were returning from vacation in Barbados, arriving at Los Angeles International Airport on a private jet, when A$AP Rocky was detained.
According to the Los Angeles Police Department, the rapper is the suspect in a November 6 shooting. They state “an argument between two acquaintances” occurred at around 10:15 p.m. The dispute escalated, and A$AP Rocky shot the victim before fleeing the scene on foot with two other men. The victim later sought treatment for a minor injury.
Following an investigation, LAPD cops arrested the rapper for assault with a deadly weapon and will be presenting the case to the District Attorney.
While A$AP is yet to make a statement, his attorney, Alan Jackson, confirmed to NBC News that his client had been arrested.

Pooh Shiesty received his sentence for a firearms conspiracy charge on Wednesday (April 20).
According to multiplereports, U.S. District Judge Kevin Michael Moore sentenced Pooh Shiesty to 63 months in prison. Earlier this year, the 22-year-old rapper pleaded guilty to a single count of firearms conspiracy.
Judge Moore gave Pooh Shiesty, whose real name is Lontrell Williams, credit for a year of time served. The Atlantic Records artist could get out of prison in roughly three and a half years with good behavior.
Pooh Shiesty’s attorney Bradford Cohen spoke to Rolling Stone about his client’s outlook following the sentencing. Cohen said they were pleased with how the case turned out, relatively speaking.
“Listen, nobody’s happy to go to prison, but he was happy the judge listened to our argument, and the judge received the argument well,” the lawyer told Rolling Stone. “He was satisfied with the outcome. We’re happy with the decision of the court.”
Pooh Shiesty was originally indicted on multiple charges stemming from an October 2020 shooting at a hotel in Bay Harbor Islands, Florida.
Prosecutors dropped three charges when he agreed to plead guilty to conspiracy to possess a firearm in furtherance of violent and drug-trafficking crimes. The plea deal allowed him to avoid a gun charge with a maximum sentence of life in prison.
Rapper Lil’ Wayne has settled a lawsuit filed by a white club bouncer who claimed race was a motivating factor in getting beat down by the artist and his entourage.
According to The Blast, the Billboard chart-topper has made an undisclosed settlement with Andrew Nunemacher, a security guard at a Los Angeles nightclub called “Hyde,” who claimed Wayne and his entourage beat him up based on the color of his skin.
Nunemacher claimed it was “racially motivated” because someone yelled “F##k you, white boy!” before he was assaulted. He filed his lawsuit under California’s ‘Unruh Civil Rights Act’ on the basis of his “Caucasian ancestry and descent.”
Earlier this year, the man’s lawyers needed to get a judge to make the New Orleans native come in and give a deposition.
Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Jon R. Takasugi allowed Nunemacher’s attorneys to depose the “Lollipop” rapper for an additional allotment of two hours before legal proceedings started after lawyers noted in court papers that Lil’ Wayne’s behavior in their November deposition was “beyond extreme.”
The claim alleges that the artist “took pride in his refusals to answer fundamental questions during the first deposition while his attorneys sat back and made inappropriate and frivolous objections, encouraging a display that mocks the civil process.”
Reports said he left the virtual deposition after only a couple of hours. According to the court papers, he “abruptly exited the Zoom for the second time and did not return.”
As of this week, the two parties have settled, and it is unclear if this is a monetary agreement.
The legal document says, “The settlement agreement conditions dismissal of this matter on the satisfactory completion of specified terms that are not be performed within 45 days of the date of the settlement.”
Tekashi 6ix9ine continued to troll Fivio Foreign via social media on Wednesday (April 20).
The controversial rapper’s latest taunting included accusations about Fivio Foreign being aligned with cops. 6ix9ine shared a screenshot of a video supposedly showing his foe with the police on Instagram.
“Look at the Tekashi hate train ignore this,” he wrote. “You King of NY but with police. This boy really roll around with SWAT team.”
Earlier in the day, 6ix9ine boasted about his YouTube views. He pointed out how quickly his “GINE” video reached 1.3 million views compared to Nicki Minaj’s “We Go Up” video, which features Fivio Foreign.
“Its never about numbers until they do better than you then its ‘look at my numbers, look at my chart positions, look look look,’” he wrote on Instagram Stories. “And its crazy because Im doing that blackballed!! They have all the help and more radio + editorial + playlisting. Anyway @fivioforeign_8fs SMD with ya mothers lips. I put names on it no subliminals.”
6ix9ine began beefing with Fivio Foreign over the “King of New York” title. Fivio Foreign avoided mentioning 6ix9ine by name but addressed their feud in a recent post on Instagram Stories.
“And this is why I don’t respond to these lame-ass weirdo clout [chasing] n#####,” he wrote. “[You] could buy [YouTube views] but you [can’t] buy chart positions. Everything this kid [has] ever said has been [a] lie and everything [else] is [gonna be] a lie. I apologize to the real 1’s out there [that’s] mad I’m entertaining this s### but fans must [know].”

It has a different spin on it. As the leader of Apexhustler Media, he is on his way to be considered as one of the greats! His unorthodox style sets him at the epicenter of what is happening at the forefront of Hip Hop & Music today. His current themes are refreshing as they are more about love, life and ambition, rather than just the drugs, sex and Rock n Roll inundating the airwaves. Oshay can touch any topic and also produces the majority of his work. He has a crew of young producers, engineers, videographers and artists that move as a unit and are changing the game!
Although he’s always wanted his music to touch his fan base, Oshay had to mature a bit more before getting his shot. As the years have gone by his mindset has changed. The single, “Pardon Me” off his first project, Battleborn (2018) was meant to be his breakout hit but when it missed the charts and radio he kept working and evolving as an all around artist.
He doesn’t have only one sound. His music channels many genres and walks of life for him to be so young. Now, he is about to release the beginnings of his tidal wave of music! Actor Angela Lewis talks to AllHipHop’s Chuck “Jigsaw” Creekmur about everything in her recent life. But, for the moment, the most important thing is the season finale of “Snowfall,” the hit show on FX that chronicles the insidious drug trade that decimated Black and Brown communities in the 80s.
Angela plays “Aunt Louie,” a drug queenpin that has grown considerably since the show debuted in 2017. In this exclusive conversation, the bases get covered. The Detroit native explains how her background has helped her navigate a character in such a gritty, yet elegant, manner. She also talks about “Aunt Louie” and her role in the pantheon of gangster leads. On the lighter side, she addresses Damson Idris’s perfectly coifed 80s ‘fro, which Chuck takes exception on.
AllHipHop: Definitely. First of all, I got to ask you, how you feeling about this new season? A lot of new developments, especially for Louie, your character. How you feeling?
Angela Lewis: I feel good. Louie is very layered these days. I mean, she’s always been layered, but it’s nice that people get to see all of her layers and we get to tease it out even more. So I’m really excited, I’m happy that people are talking about her. It’s love and hate at the same time, and I’ll take that.
AllHipHop: Well, she’s making those power moves. You can’t be boss without crossing a few people.
Angela Lewis: That’s right, and that’s okay.
AllHipHop: Absolutely. The series finale is right here, how are fans receiving it in your eyes? I mean, it’s a lot of anticipation. In fact, I wish we could have did this after so we could really talk about it.
Angela Lewis: People are very excited. Everybody’s got their thoughts on what’s going to happen, how everything is going to go down. So it’s been really fun reading people’s predictions. It’s been a lot of fun.
AllHipHop: The last episode had me tripping. I was actually tripping (it deals with LSD). I was like, “What is going on here?” Now, we’ve seen our share of Black people, this type of narrative, the drug game. But this feels different. It’s obviously a family affair, but it also feels different in a number of ways.
What are your thoughts on that? And why don’t we get tired of it, and especially with “Snowfall”?
Angela Lewis: Yeah. I think one of the things that’s important about “Snowfall” is to remember that we are talking about something that really happened. We are talking about how… Hello. We are talking about how the government was involved in the plague on our community. And we never stray too far from that in terms of our storytelling.
And we are always trying to sprinkle in real life situations, real life realities of the time. And we never let Franklin and the family forget what they have been a part of, what has happened to the people, to the family, to the neighborhood, to the larger community. And especially the community that they started in, that they’re from, this is what is happening.
And as long as we have that humanity component, I think that’s what keeps people coming back. There’s the shootouts and all the exciting things that happen that keep you jumping and screaming at the TV, but the humanity part, the family part, that’s what keeps people coming back.
AllHipHop:Absolutely. Women in history or historically in Hollywood, have been regulated to the love interest or the voice of reason, a number of different things. Thinking “Menace II Society,” so on and so forth. Your character is definitely an exception to the general rule. Where would you place her in the history books of Hollywood and TV?
Angela Lewis: Oh man, I don’t know. I feel like I leave the legacy part for other people and for after. I just try to stay in the moment and I try to bring my A-game, and I try to bring as much humanity and layers and complications to Louie as I possibly can. And if that makes her stand out, if that puts her in the history books, that’s icing on the cake. And that makes me feel good to hear you say that and to hear other people say that.
But I think if I get caught up in how she’s going to be historic, then it’ll start getting corny. It’ll start getting weird. I can’t worry about that. I just try to bring the truth and I try to bring my whole self and her whole self to the character and to the moments.
AllHipHop: So I have one critique of Snowfall. I have one problem. You know what it is?
Angela Lewis: What?
AllHipHop: Damson’s hairline. His hairline be perfect. It’s like they got the T-liner from 2025 (the future), because I’m like, “How’s this man’s hair like this?” Back in the ’80, we was mad peasy. It wasn’t sharp like that. I Googled every picture from West Coast, Los Angeles, I could find. I could not find nobody whose hair was lined up.
Angela Lewis: That’s funny. I don’t know if Damson’s going out like that though. They all say he got appeal to the ladies.
AllHipHop: And that, he is.
The season finale of Snowfall airs tonight on FX. Check local listings for time.
Atlanta native Future has used some of his millions of dollars to help a local school make much-needed renovations to the facility.
According to Alive 11, the “Flip Flop” rapper dropped a bag to remodel the Columbia High School’s weight room, an effort that will support the campus’ athletic department.
Students were pleased with the updates and the celebrity donor, taking pictures to flex on some of the other schools in the area.
Future, an alumna of the school who graduated in 2002, partnered with his sister, Tia Wilburn, and his Freewishes Foundation to support the funding of the project.
Ironically, according to the DeKalb County School District, Future was classmates with the current football coach Gregory Barnett at the school.
“I reached out to him, he asked what the need was, and we were definitely in need of a weight room,” Barnett said. “He and his team came in and evaluated the situation, and they blessed us with brand new equipment. It’s a beautiful thing. I’m very excited.”
Columbia High means a lot to the family. In addition to Future going there, so did his sister (C’03) and his mother (C’83).
Tia Wilburn said, “They have a growing athletic program here, so we wanted to do whatever we could to help the kids accelerate, and our way was redoing the weight room.”
“I’m looking forward to going to the games this upcoming season and seeing how they’re working out in the weight room and how it’s paying off on the field.”
“It equates to getting stronger and preventing injuries,” Barnett continued. “The weight room is definitely a part of our program, and we’re looking forward to maybe winning a few more games due to having a nicer weight room.”
In the past, they have given back through sponsored events, workshops, and scholarships to seniors.
Columbia Principal Dr. Derrica Boochee-Davis said, “Schools can only be as great as those who pour into it. So, them valuing what Columbia provided them as they grew up, and then giving back to other students is idealistic. We are so grateful and honored.”
Being very versatile and having the ability of coming up with his songs as fast as an hour, Reese RP brings forth a sound in his music that is unlike others. Reese RP currently resides in Detroit, MI and states that he began to make music in 2014 with his cousins, however, he picked it back up in 2016 but began to take it seriously in 2020. The first track Reese recorded was around December of 2014 at the Green Field Plaza in Oak Park Michigan. His genre would be around the areas of HipHop, Rap, RnB, and Pop. Additionally, an album he just recently released is titled, ‘HONER,’ a 29-track project that was released January of 2022.
Reese RP shared during our interview that soon after high school, for some reason, he couldn’t stay out of trouble every 30 days, having police contact, nothing too serious, he states, but just so frequently. He further mentions that during this time, he was going through a phase of becoming a man so it was hard for him to try to appease the lifestyle he was living and also handle his responsibilities. He totaled three of his cars within three months and did not get another car until a year and a half later. During this time, he says, he has had nothing to do and nowhere to go so he was stuck in the house. Around February 2019, his baby mother had sent him a message through Instagram, informing him that a baby she just gave birth to a month prior could possibly be his, so as all of this going on in his life, he was hit with yet another curveball. After getting the DNA test and finding out he actually had a son, it was life changing for Reese. Everything pretty much was going uphill from there, however, he would say that it was the most traumatic time of his life.
As time continued to pass he used his son as motivation and continued to release multiple projects, with titles being, ‘BG Rees – BGTM,’ ‘Young Chapo,’ ‘Revision,’ ‘BGTM PT.2,’ Rated R,’ ‘Rees RP – RP Crazy,’ Born A Boss,’ ‘Brothers Through Loyalty,’ ‘Outbound,’ ‘Chinese – V,’ ‘BGrees vs Reesrp,’ and ‘Honor.’ He is currently working on a secret project that will be released later this year.
After music, Reese RP wishes to run his own music label to create opportunities for underground artists, the less fortunate, and people who do not already have an established career or connections in the music industry. his next moves are to plan to book a lot of more interviews and also he is going to start throwing his own concerts in the city he was born in, Detroit, and also to go on tour while creating a chance for people to get their music heard across the world along with himself. He plans on establishing a solid fan base and pushing his album, ‘HONOR,’ on the charts. A message he would want to leave the audience with is that he would want the people to understand that he is promoting a new phrase and basically a movement anyone can be an RP if they are genuine, unique, smooth, and confident individuals. He does not promote anything other than that. When it comes to his music and the message, he wants to be able to please all types of people and relate to whatever that may be going through at that time. He hopes to let people into his life more as if they personally knew him, to create a closer bond with Reese RP and all of his fans.
You can stream his music now on all streaming platforms, and be sure to follow Reese RP on all of his social media outlets to stay up to date with everything @reesrpmusic
Ghanaian-born Nigerian music star, Gibril Adedayo Hassan Mansaray, known by his stage name Gibrilville, has released the much-anticipated video for his hit song titled ‘Dididaada’, a complementary visual for the afrobeat track. The vitality and diversity of the music are captured in the ‘Dididaada’ music video.
Gibrilville is one of the frontier artists pushing Afrobeats sounds globally. With the artwork for the music video featured on Billboards in the USA and Ghana, the singer aspires to make a great impact with the song ‘Dididaada’. Already accumulating over 336,000 streams on Spotify alone, ‘Dididaada’ was written in collaboration with fellow Ghanian-Romanian musician Wanlov the Kubolor, and produced by Nigerian producer Jaysynth to create a dynamic and energetic contemporary production.
Paying homage to his Ghanaian roots, the singer chants ‘Ghana Dididaada’ translating from the Asante language to ‘Ghana shall eat forever.’ This metaphor is showcased in the song through an array of languages and lyrics in Twi, English, French, and Pidgin. The opening shots are filmed from the perspective of a camcorder, the red light flashing as it records Gibrilville entering a secret code into the wall. The wall slides open, revealing a bright world for Gibrilville to enjoy. With a dazzling pink backdrop, acoustic guitars hung on the bamboo wall, luscious green vegetation placed around the room, Gibrilville is poised on a seat in the middle, surrounded by beautiful women who sensually dance around him, flirtatious and alluring.
Colorful clothing and bright backdrops offer a rainbow for the camera, an enticing reflection of the energetic music, while the seductive silhouettes of the women continue to enter. Transitioning between orange and pink backgrounds, there is playfulness to the visuals, especially when the scene changes and the use of mirrors and fluorescent light adds new flavors. The women, now dressed in bright suits and bow ties, dance around Gibrilville, inviting viewers to join the flamboyant party.
With a tumultuous past far behind him, ‘Dididaada’ feels like a celebration of Gibrilville’s life, free from the restraints of hardship and challenges. Now only a euphoric future lies ahead, and perhaps ‘Dididaada’ is the song to commence the next chapter of Gibrilville’s life. Directed by Nigerian music director Kamhabit, the music video for ‘Dididaada’ is a vibrant and seductive composition, shot in Lagos, Nigeria.

AllHipHop: How would you describe your sound?
C0LDGAME: Easiest way to describe it to me is turnt up. I keep it gangsta in all my music.
AllHipHop: What was it like growing up in Oakland/San Leandro?
C0LDGAME: Oakland is like any other hood. Growing up in Oakland taught me everything I know. Even though the decisions I made weren’t the best choice, Oakland raised me to be the person I am today.
AllHipHop: Biggest influences to date?
C0LDGAME: A lot of people, Boosie and Webbie at their prime. Lil Wayne. Bay Area: DB the General, Jay Stylis, Mac Dre. I was a big Plies fan for a minute, he makes me bring the goon out.
AllHipHop: What did “Django Freestyle” do for your career?
C0LDGAME: I always knew I’d do music, but after I did some time and my song “Django Freestyle” went crazy, I really started to take music more seriously and put money towards my craft. “Django Freestyle” sparked a growth in my fan base. I already had fans in Cali who showed a lot of love, but “Django Freestyle” gave my career momentum.
AllHipHop: You just released “THEY HATE SLEAZE,” what inspired this record?
C0LDGAME: “They Hate Sleaze” is a song for the haters. Hate is something most rappers experience, and as an artist I have a lot of them. I really just popped my s### on this track.
AllHipHop: How was it linking with Boosie on “Duckin Smoke”? How’d that collab happen?
C0LDGAME: The label I’m signed to 3GEntertainment and Jay Cooper, Boosie’s manager, made the link up happen. It was dope and we shot the video in his house. Working with a legend was the highlight for real, he did the verse in 20 minutes. We shot the video right after and he remembered his whole verse. It was a cool experience to be around someone who has the influence that they do and to see how they move.
AllHipHop: What is it you want fans to get from your story?
C0LDGAME: I want my fans to learn that you can really do anything if you grind hard enough. Life will throw a lot of things at you, good and bad. It’s how you come out of what you go through that matters.
AllHipHop: How was it working with Baby Stone Gorillas recent project, “Baby5xne Gorillas”?
C0LDGAME: That was a blessing. Their project was loaded with people making noise like Wallie The Sensei and my hit was on there with the rest. Track #7 “With That.” Once I’m out, we’re linking up for the video.
AllHipHop: 3 things you need in the studio?
C0LDGAME: Something cold to drink, some shrooms, and a crazy beat.
https://www.instagram.com/p/Cbo8Iu4j6Ax/
AllHipHop: How was it working with OJ Da Juiceman?
C0LDGAME: OJ Da Juiceman is dope. I met up with him at the studio with an open verse and we ended up making a whole other song. His verse goes crazy and the song is a banger.
AllHipHop: What can we expect from your forthcoming debut album?
C0LDGAME: My album is coming in two parts. ‘Absconding’ Part 1 will be released in a few weeks and the features on the tape are crazy. Fans can expect hit after hit with this project, I’ve been ready to release it for a while.
AllHipHop: I see you got features with Sukihana and Derez De’Shon.
C0LDGAME: Making tracks with Sukihana and Derez De’Shon was dope. Sukihana happened with the help of Jay Cooper. I laid down this crazy single called “Pretty Please” and we knew that she would be the perfect person to have jump on it. We got this crazy dope hit with Derez too, it was cool linking up with him. We used to talk on the phone a lot then 3G and Jay Cooper made the feature happen.
AllHipHop: Goals yourself as an artist at this point of your career?
C0LDGAME: To make a name for myself and leave a legacy for my kids. To make it out, get home and make enough money for generational wealth. To be the stepping stones for the people that I got behind me.
Awich is beyond dope. She’s a beacon of light from Japan that shines all the way to Hip-Hop’s birthplace. The Okinawa-born Hip-Hop artist has had a long journey until this point and shows no signs of weakening. In fact, it seems like she is getting stronger and stronger. Her new album, Queendom, explores a number of topics, themes and sounds. One thing is for sure, she’s here to take her movement global.
It all began so simple, to quote her brothers from Staten Island.
Born Akiko (亜希子) Urasaki, took on a shorted version of her birth name’s meaning – Asia Wish Child. She grew up on Hip-Hop largely due to the presence of a U.S. military base in Okinawa. After gravitating to the likes of Tupac, she fell for Hip-Hop and the crush never ended. Oddly, she learned a lot of her English studying ‘Pac. She eventually moved to Atlanta after she graduated high school in Okinawa.
She soon was married with a child, but tragedy followed. Her American spouse was murdered and she found herself back in Japan, a college graduate and professional. Upon her return, she began to meld all of her senses, talents and experiences into her career.
Her first full album, 2017’s Yentown, which foreshadowed where we are today. Queendom, her latest, has Awich flowing in Japanese, Okinawan and English, with a sound that is destined to go global. Her perspective matches her sound and her ambition. The 30-something is no rookie and she is here to claim her space in the culture.
Chuck Creekmur aka Jigsaw and the Queen of Japanese Hip-Hop talk about all things Awich. Check out the video below.
Born on the 15th of November in the year 1998 ANDI is a singer and songwriter currently scheduled for the release of his new single “Sick of you”. But before we get to know more about it let’s take a look into who ANDI really is and what he stands for to a true music enthusiast.
ANDI has a long and complex past having grown up to be someone who considered music to be his true calling in life. In high school, ANDI put his passion into motion and found a niche for himself by participating in talent shows and becoming recognized for his singing skills as well as his stage presence- especially amazing for someone who was still in High School. Soon, ANDI found himself attracted to the world of K-Pop and traveled to South Korea to pursue it.
However, a new environment made up of a foreign language as well as culture stunted ANDI’s development. Although one might think that this made ANDI give up on his dream it was simply another stepping stone to him finding his true voice and developing a style of his own. Around 8 years back ANDI finally had the spotlight shine on him when he attracted a lot of new fans with his song Lonely Child where he included genres of synth-pop and EDM.
At present with years of practice and hard work ANDI’s voice has taken on a melodious touch that only comes from constant usage and features a wide vocal range. ANDI’s progress as a singer has taken it to the next level and allowed him to make a mark in almost all genres of music whether it be a heartful ballad or an upbeat pop song. However, this is only the physical transformation that ANDI underwent. A person’s value comes not only from his applicability but also from who he is as an individual. Similarly, for ANDI his time in the industry has helped him improve his mentality.
The progress made hasn’t necessarily been only unidirectional in nature but has come from a better understanding not only of the market and its target audience but also a closer connection with himself. All this is what is represented in “Sick of you” meaning it is a metaphor for how people living in present-day society are often mentally disconnected from who they truly are.
So, what are you waiting for? ANDI is as excited to show you his transformation as you are to check it out. Make sure to stream “Sick of you” soon!
This practice is so controversial that many have referred to it as the “Great Firewall of China,” a 21st-century take on the Great Wall of China, which can be seen from outer space.
This internationally streamed performance, of course, violated the strict internet regulations of the red nation.
Some fans tuned in on the app WeChat and Chinese officials attempted to cover up the Grammy award winner’s behind with a black floating square. However, that was an epic fail as Megan thee Stallion and her scantily clad dancers were gyrating so fast that the poor censorship bar could not keep up.
Authorities also tried to co-opt the title for her hit song with Cardi B and call it “Wet Ass Puxi” instead of the rap song’s actual name.
One fan captured the farcical attempt on Twitter, captioning it, “Coachella is also being livestreamed via WeChat. Apparently, this performance not only made censors sweat, everyone was also joking that they’re singing a song about Shanghai Puxi District. #MeganTheeStallion#Shanghailockdown“

Rapper A$AP Rocky ran into trouble today (April 20th) when he returned from Barbados after spending time on the island with his pregnant girlfriend Rihanna.
According to reports, the rapper, born Rakim Mayers, was put in handcuffs and arrested when his private plane landed At LAX.
According to NBC News 10, A$AP, Rocky is under investigation by the Los Angeles Police Department over a shooting in November of 2021.
A victim accused the world-famous rap star of shooting at him during an altercation on the street.
The victim claims A$AP Rocky shot at him three or four times. One of the bullets grazed the victim’s left hand.
The 33-year-old rapper was charged with assault with a deadly weapon with a gun.
The shooting is the latest legal mess for A$AP Rocky. In June 2019, the rap star landed behind bars in Sweden after he and his entourage beat up two men on the street.
The rapper was detained in Stockholm for over a month. His detainment became an international crisis when then-President Donald Trump decided to intervene.
“I kinda was scared that Trump was going to f### it up,” the rap star said in the new documentary “Stockholm Syndrome. “But then on the other hand, I’m just like, ‘That’s what’s up, man!'”
The rapper was eventually found guilty and given a suspended sentence.
Blac Chyna’s mother has been barred from the courtroom for the duration of her trial against Kris Jenner and three of her daughters.
Ahead of the opening statements in the court case in which Chyna, real name Angela White, is suing the Kardashian-Jenner family for defamation, the reality TV star’s mother Tokyo Toni – also known as Shalana Hunter – went on an Instagram Live rant.
According to People, Michael Rhodes, a lawyer representing the Kardashian family, claimed Toni’s video included “veiled physical threats.”
Chyna’s lawyer Lynne Ciani agreed: “I can’t control her mother… My client wants a fair trial. I already told her it was unacceptable, and she can’t be in the courtroom.”
In allegations dating back to 2017, the model claimed her E! reality TV series, “Rob & Chyna,” was canceled after Kris made a false assault allegation against her.
In the lawsuit, Chyna sued Kris and her daughters Kim Kardashian, Khloe Kardashian, and Kylie Jenner for defamation and intentional interference with a contract. Representatives for the TV personalities have denied the allegations.
Chyna shares her five-year-old daughter Dream with ex-partner Rob Kardashian.
U.S. District Judge Otis D. Wright ruled in favor of a producer and songwriter named Tyler Armes in his publishing conflict with pop star Post Malone.
According to Billboard, Judge Wright said he believes Armes should be able to prove his claim in the court of law that he contributed substantially to the hit song “Circles,” recorded during a studio session in August of 2018.
Wright believes Armes should be able to fight to establish co-credit with producer Frank Dukes and Post Malone on the song.
The “Rockstar” artist wanted to have the claim dismissed, arguing that in the studio, Armes had no “veto power” in the session and thus was ineligible to get songwriting credit.
The judge said, “While Dukes may have controlled the laptop, nothing suggests that he or Post possessed any special veto or decision-making power that Armes did not.”
“Armes’s evidence, if credited, supports the finding that the three musicians shared equal control in the session, making nonhierarchical contributions to a unitary whole,” Judge Wright declared.
Post Malone still does not believe the evidence supports Armes should get the credit he is asking for, which grant him an equal third of the song that has well over 2.9 billion in cumulative radio airplay audience and 732 million U.S. streams as well as 457,000 downloads, according to Billboard.
What helped Armes’ case was a text message to Post Malone’s manager Dre London submitted to the court that read, “Just showed Posty the message/ He said he remembers/ U played a tune on the bass then he played more of it after.”
