Rapper YFN Lucci is facing more criminal charges after being named in a 75-page, 105 count indictment for racketeering with the Bloods street gang in Atlanta.
The rapper, born Rayshawn Bennett, is one of a dozen suspects facing serious allegations filed by the Fulton County District Attorney, who called the charges “unprecedented.”
“There’s been a huge spike in violent crime,” according to Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis. “I made a commitment to bring the best and the brightest minds here, many of which you see sitting here right now so that we could deal with this issue of this violent crime.”
The indictment is the latest bad news for YFN Lucci.
YFN Lucci was hit with the charges in connection with the death of a 28-year-old man named James Adams, who was shot in the head and left for dead in the middle of an Atlanta street. Andrews, who was an associate of YFN Lucci, was supposedly hit by return fire, during a shootout.
Andrews was rushed to Grady Memorial Hospital, where he succumbed to his injury. Another 32-year-old male was shot in the abdomen and survived.
YFN Lucci was released in February on a $500,000 bond.
Normally, this would not be a problem as attending gentlemen’s clubs is woven deeply in his hometown’s DNA. However, the spot he chose to go to is the same club connected to the murder case that he is currently fighting and goes against the conditions of his release.
In February, a judge gave him a laundry list of do’s and don’ts. Prosecutors noted that YFN Lucci was playing loose and should be hauled back to jail.
Outside of going to the shakey butt club, prosecutors allege that the “Everyday We Lit” artist has also tested for narcotics (cannabis and opioids) and tampered with his ankle monitor.
YFN Lucci’s lawyer Drew Findling has denied the new charges filed against him.
“He’s not a gang member. What he is is an internationally recognized musical artist that is a triple platinum winner, that has performed all over the United States and all over the world,” Drew Findling said.
The Weeknd has vowed to continue to boycott the Grammys – despite a major change to their rules.
After it was announced that the Recording Academy will stop using secret committees to select nominees, the three-time Grammy-winner has insisted he still can’t “trust” them.
“The trust has been broken for so long between the Grammy organization and artists that it would be unwise to raise a victory flag,” the “Blinding Lights” hitmaker, real name Abel Tesfaye, told Variety.
The Weeknd previously blasted the annual awards ceremony after his critically-acclaimed album After Hours was completely snubbed from the 2021 nominations list, and he later vowed to never submit any of his future work for consideration.
“Because of the secret committees, I will no longer allow my label to submit my music to the Grammys,” he said.
Recording Academy chair and interim president/CEO Harvey Mason Jr. later responded to The Weeknd’s comments and said he was “surprised” he wasn’t recognized, as he blamed the lack of nominations on there being “fewer” to hand out “than the number of deserving artists.”
The Weeknd’s decision to boycott the Grammys came after Zayn Malik also accused them of being rigged.
He tweeted: “F### the grammys and everyone associated. Unless you shake hands and send gifts, there’s no nomination considerations. Next year I’ll send you a basket of confectionary.”
The former One Direction star later insisted his criticism wasn’t about his own album.
He added: “My tweet was not personal or about eligibility but was about the need for inclusion and the lack of transparency of the nomination process and the space that creates and allows favouritism, racism, and networking politics to influence the voting process.”
Rapper Honeykomb Brazy is sitting in prison in his hometown of Alabama over drug and gun charges.
According to Al.com, Honeykomb Brazy was taken into custody over a shootout that took place just days before the rapper’s grandparents’ grizzly murders.
In February, Honeykomb Brazy’s grandparents perished after their house in Mobile exploded under suspicious circumstances.
Several neighbors reported hearing at least 10 gunshots from a semi-automatic weapon, and moments after the gunfire stopped, the house went up in flame taking the lives of Tony and Leila Lewis.
The cops say another shootout with a group of Honeykomb Brazy’s rivals took place a few days before his grandparents’ funeral.
Shockingly, that shootout was live-streamed on social media
Honeykomb Brazy was taken into custody at gunpoint by two police officers on Saturday (May 1st) without incident. The rapper, real name Nashon Jones, was booked into jail on Saturday for first-degree marijuana possession and possession of a gun.
Her worried parents are desperately seeking any helpful tips which can lead to her safe return. Dennis’ mother, Latisha Dennis, told local news station WGRZ-TV talked about the toll the drama was taking on the family.
“I’m very concerned about Saniyya. We just want our daughter back. We love her and miss her very much, and this is really hard.”
40 Cal, real name Calvin Byrd, has since vowed to pay whatever it takes to be reunited with their child.
“I’m offering a reward out of my own money, $10,000, $20,000, whatever. I swear I’ll pay, just give details,” he pleaded. “You don’t even have to tell your name, just details that connect. I swear I’ll pay you, I just want to get my daughter back, that’s it.”
Today marks the 10th day Saniyya Dennis has been missing. 40 Cal’s friends and followers have been blasting Buffalo’s Mayor Byron Brown for his lack of action.
The cops are also being scrutinized too, over an unreleased video of Saniyya at an NFTA bus terminal in Buffalo, which was sent to the Buffalo State Police.
“We recognize that there is great interest in the details of this case, but please understand that in order to protect the integrity of this multi-agency investigation, we are unable to publicly disclose certain aspects of the case,” said Katherine Conway-Turner President of Buffalo State College.
“This remains an active missing person investigation, and our dedicated officers, investigators and UPD staff will not rest until Saniyya is found,” Conway-Turner said.
Anyone with information is encouraged to contact UPD at (716) 878-6333 or call the university’s police department anonymous tip line bike dialing (716) 878-3166.

Rapper Lil Durk sees his dreams of buying oh block die a horrible death!
Lil Durk may not be from Oblock in Chicago, but he is a representative of the area. At least, that’s how I feel about it. He immediately put in a bid to buy the infamous housing project. That is the home of King Von and other legendary artists. Not to mention, Michelle Obama is from there too. But I digress, Lil Durk is not from there but he put in a bid through Twitter to buy it. No matter what the cost!
The only thing is that’s not exactly how business is done, even though I thought there was an opportunity for something to happen! That said, Oblock has already sold to some mogul or corporate group for an undisclosed amount. It was sold almost immediately after the tweet of it being on sale was made public. That probably means that it was sold before the new story was even made. You know how these things go. Business to business, somebody let somebody else know that it was going to go on the market and it was probably sold before a reporter even caught wind of it.
That said, people are now wondering what will become of the housing project. If you look at it it looks like a great, gated community, but we all know that those gates are to keep the Black people in and the conditions inside as well. Folks are earnestly wondering if and when gentrification will kick in at this point.
It really does look like a nice place to live at face value, but we all know that the violence and crime that occurs in that area is worldk-nown now. And I am sure that is not the only thing that happens there, but unfortunately certain rappers have really promoted it as such and they don’t rap about the cookouts or whatever else positive they do there. That said, what will become of the residents there.? Will the new owners replace the entire population and swap them out with a lighter shade of human, now that there’s new ownership? Will their rents now go up? Will they turn this place into a condominium or a luxury housing facility now that there’s new ownership? If somebody got it, there most be some paper to be made.
I almost wish Lil Durk did buy it because I would love to see what he did with the place. I am not sure that he is built for that type of management, because he is a rapper. But his ambition was pure, I am sure. What do you think about all of this?
By the way, there is no record of who actually bought Parkway Gardens aka Oblock. I guess that is how private ownership goes. Lil Durk can buy some other land in the hood for people in need.
Unfortunately, NLE Choppa’s name has been in news headlines more over the last several weeks for arrests and conflicts than for his recent turn towards positivity. Yesterday, the 18-year-old rapper had to explain footage of him being involved in a physical altercation.
Video of NLE Choppa and his crew beating down an unknown man in Venice Beach, California made its way to social media. While the fight appeared to be at least five-on-one, a lot of the conversation online was concentrated on Choppa catching a direct punch to the face at one point.
“Damn, y’all never got hit in a fight before? 😂 Bruh asked for [a] picture. I said, ‘No, I’m enjoying [myself],’ and I get called scary and a b####. I make sure I take pictures with every fan but some days I just be trying to chill and get disrespected in the process,” tweeted NLE Choppa on Monday.
The Memphis, Tennessee native later added, “And I eat punches. Ask bout me. Imma rush you take what you got to give and resume beating some. Honestly [I] ain’t wanna fight I was just tryna walk the beach 🤷🏽♂️.”
Damn y’all never got hit in a fight before ? 😂 bruh asked for picture I said no I’m enjoying my self and I get called scary and a b####. I make sure I take pictures with every fan but some days I just be trying to chill and get disrespected in the process
And I eat punches ask bout me. Imma rush you take what you got to give and resume beating some. Honestly ain’t wanna fight I was just tryna walk the beach 🤷🏽♂️
Prior to the beach brawl over the weekend, NLE Choppa (born Bryson Lashun Potts) was arrested in Davie, Florida. The “Shotta Flow” hitmaker was charged with carrying a concealed firearm, possession of illegal narcotics, and burglary.
“To begin when you start changing lives around you and began to stand for something deep in your purpose you become a target to a certain group of people and also the devil. During this arrest I was setup, substances were planted on me that I don’t consume/use/own, my name was lied upon, and I was even mistreated in the process,” stated NLE Choppa.
He added, “Every media outlet, news channel, and etc covered this story to paint a picture on a new surface I’ve been working so hard to create. This case will be beat and I will walk a free man, remember it’s innocent until proven guilty not guilty until proven innocent.”
Over the last year, NLE Choppa has changed his public persona to focus on self-healing, meditation, affirmations, vegan cooking, and other healthy lifestyle options. He released his From Dark to Light mixtape in November 2020. The project was a departure from Choppa’s previous street life-themed content.
NLE Choppa also started speaking out about the importance of mental health awareness in the Black community. A February interview with Fox Soul’s The Mix included the Warner Records signee discussing African Americans having to deal with anxiety and depression.
“The problems we face, the trauma we see on a daily basis, how we’re treated just off the melanin skin that we got – a lot of people don’t know that they be facing a type of mental illness. They don’t know the things they’re seeing – all this police brutality – everything you feed your mind, your soul, your body, it affects you,” said NLE Choppa.
Things must be opening up, because Snoop Dogg is talking about a tour of the magnificent levels. Rapper, who has never waned in relevance, wants to do a huge tour with Dr. Dre 50 Cent, Eminem, Kendrick Lamar, the game and several other notables. He even mentioned bringing the crews of faction along!
Aftermath, Shady, G-Unit and more!
First of all, this seems to be highly improbable, but amazing if they can pull it off. It seems like one of the biggest issues facing this tour, is that Dr. Dre would not be participating. Dr. Dre, as you know, has been known to be in overthinking creative genius that has scores of music in the vault.
He doesn’t have anything out right now and I guess that is why he doesn’t want to do a tour. However nobody would really be checking for brand new music anyway, that would just be a bonus.
Most people don’t remember the Up in Smoke Tour at this point, but it was EPIC! I think I will come out the house and do this tour if I could, because it would be insane!! And they could really bring along a bunch other people as well like Tha Dog Pound and X to The Z and others! What do you think?
The “climb, the crash, and the comeback” of the “Baddest Man on the Planet” will be explored in an upcoming documentary series. ABC will broadcast Mike Tyson: The Knockout later this month.
Mike Tyson’s life story will be presented via the four-hour program. Veteran actress Rosie Perez, former HBO Sports President Ross Greenburg, ESPN reporter Jeremy Schaap, and more will appear in The Knockout. Unaired interviews with Tyson were also included in the doc.
“In addition to being an inspiring story of the perseverance and hard-won growth of one extraordinary person, Mike Tyson’s life and career are also relevant to the important collective self-reflection finally occurring in America,” said Geoffrey Fletcher, The Knockout executive producer.
Mike Tyson: The Knockout is set to air on the ABC network beginning May 25 at 8 pm ET with the second installment airing on June 1. Episodes will be available for streaming on Hulu the next day. Both ABC and Hulu are owned by The Walt Disney Company.
In February, Mike Tyson called on his Instagram followers to boycott Hulu after the streamer announced it would be presenting an unauthorized 8-episode limited series about Tyson titled Iron Mike. The former undisputed world heavyweight boxing champion lashed into Hulu on IG for what he saw as “corporate greed.”
“These actions taken by Hulu are just the tip of the iceberg. We shouldn’t be surprised by these abhorrent actions as they represent systemic racism that has plagued Hollywood for its entire existence,” wrote Tyson on the social media platform.
He added, “These corporate giants hide behind ploys and praise themselves for offering tone-deaf attempts at diversity and inclusion like Hulu’s ‘Black Stories’ playlist that recommends stories about Black culture to viewers on the app. Yet behind closed doors, they steal stories from the Black community.”
Recently, Mike Tyson made several appearances on All Elite Wrestling’s Dynamite television show. AEW’s April 7 episode, which featured Tyson serving as a special enforcer for a match between Chris Jericho and Dax Harwood, drew an average of 1.2 millionviewers. That was the highest viewership number for Dynamite since its premiere episode in October 2019.
Up next for Mike Tyson is a possible bout against former three-time world heavyweight champion Lennox Lewis. The 55-year-old British-Canadian prizefighter is said to be in talks to come out of retirement to box Tyson in an exhibition fight. Tyson and Lewis faced off in the ring on June 8, 2002. Lewis won that clash by knockout in the eighth round.
It looks like some devout Christians and conservative Republicans could be having another meltdown in a couple of weeks. That’s because Lil Nas X will perform his highly controversial single “Montero (Call Me by Your Name)” on Saturday Night Live.
The verified Twitter page for SNL announced Lil Nas X will be the special musical guest for the May 22 episode of the late-night sketch comedy program. Anya Taylor-Joy from The Queen’s Gambit and The New Mutants will serve as the host that evening.
Lil Nas X (born Montero Lamar Hill) let his followers know that “Montero (Call Me by Your Name)” will be one of the records included in his SNL set. According to the 22-year-old musician, he will also debut a brand new song on the NBC show.
The music video for “Montero” created a storm of backlash because of its satanic imagery. In the visuals, Lil Nas X gives the devil a lapdance in hell. Many critics blasted the openly gay performer for supposedly perpetuating satanism and explicit sexuality to children.
“You see this is very scary for me, people will be angry, they will say I’m pushing an agenda. But the truth is, I am. The agenda to make people stay the f### out of other people’s lives and stop dictating who they should be. Sending you love from the future,” read part of a message Lil Nas X wrote to his 14-year-old self that coincided with the release of the “Montero” visuals.
Lil Nas X was also slammed for selling “Satan Shoes” as part of a collaboration with the New York-based art collective MSCHF. The Nike corporation filed a trademark infringement lawsuit over LNX’s redesigned Nike Air Max 97s. A settlement was eventually reached which required MSCHF to recall the sneakers.
Despite all of the social pushback from right-wingers and legal pushback from Nike, Lil Nas X still managed to achieve broad commercial success with his “Montero” song. The track debuted at #1 on Billboard‘s Hot 100 chart and remains in the Top 10 at #7 after five weeks on the tally.
Lil Nas X’s “Montero (Call Me by Your Name)” is a hit outside of the United States of America as well. The Take a Daytrip-produced track also peaked at #1 on Billboard‘s Global 200 chart and Global Excluding U.S. chart. Plus, LNX’s self-titled smash amassed more than 180 million views on YouTube since it hit the platform in March.
According to reports, Quando Rondo (born Tyquian Terrel Bowman) and his crew faced a barrage of bullets outside a convenience store on Sunday. The Savannah native is now using the media attention surrounding the shooting to promote his new project.
Quando Rondo’s two most recent Instagram Stories did not address the multiple rounds fired at him and his entourage in Blackshear, Georgia. Instead, he uploaded a link to pre-order his Still Taking Risks mixtape which drops on May 7.
The Last If Not The First 🥺 This MusiC S### Brung So Many Problems In My Life, I WatCh So Many People Change Up On Me. Family, Cripz, Homies This S### Just made me notice Ain’t No Love I’m Prepared For The Worst Tho .. May 7th Still Taking Risk 📝
Quando Rondo apparently was not hit during the gunfire in Blackshear. However, one person connected to the Atlantic recording artist was reportedly shot in the hand.
This is not the first time Quando Rondo was embroiled in a violent situation in the state of Georgia. Last year, the “End of Story” rhymer’s associate, Timothy “Lul Timm” Leek, was arrested for the murder of Chicago-bred rapper Dayvon “King Von” Bennett.
King Von was killed outside Atlanta’s Monaco Hookah Lounge on November 6, 2020. The Welcome to O’Block album creator died following a shootout involving the two rappers’ squads.
Quando Rondo recently sat down with Angela Yee of The Breakfast Club to talk about the King Von incident. The interview was released as a five-part series on the YoungBoy Never Broke Again protégé’s YouTube channel.
Miles “Lil Yachty” McCollum has officially entered the cosmetics business. The Atlanta-raised rapper announced his new nail polish will be available for sale later this month.
“I’d like to introduce my new nail paint line @crete__co… FIRST COLOR DROP MAY 21. 4 ALL GENDERS. FOR YOU, NOT THEM!” wrote Lil Yachty on Instagram.
The CRETE IG page currently only has one post at the moment. Followers of the account can see a video montage of Yachty at a photoshoot for the product.
Back in December, Lil Yachty teased creating his own nail paint as a response to 17-year-old, male student Trevor Wilkinson being suspended from his high school for wearing polish.
“It’s 2020, about to be 2021. Why do we still have barriers?” asked Yachty at the time. “If someone wants to express themself in any type of way, as long as it’s not harming anyone or bringing anybody down, they should be allowed to do so.”
The 23-year-old former McDonald’s employee continued, “When I was in college, some people are just lightyears behind mentally.”
Lil Yachty has been accused of being gay throughout his career. In 2020, the Quality Control recording artist faced criticism for dressing up as Oprah Winfrey for his “Oprah’s Bank Account” music video.
“B#### it’s just supposed to be entertaining… it ain’t even that deep, y’all n####’s so in denial with y’all masculinity s### like this bother y’all… relax,” tweeted Yachty.
Besides starting a nail paint business, Yachty is still releasing music such as the Michigan Boy Boat mixtape which dropped last month. That project followed 2020’s Lil Boat 3 studio LP.
Coley, the groundbreaking musician and artist, has hit a major milestone – his 10th album.
The eccentric artist, that hails from Philadelphia, has just released his opus Dudetopia. The album features Famous Dex and Ant Beale.
The artist said this is another bold step in his evolution.
“Dudetopia is my 10th album and a pure state of mind unbothered by society’s judgement. I’m still not at all famous yet AllHipHop supported me both on my first project and my 10th,” Coley told AllHipHop exclusively. ” I’m very grateful for [the site], and it’s actually the only blog I read. It’ll all come in time, I’m driven by real things.”
He promised to keep delivering for his loyal fans, staying true to himself.
“Mainly to give the world a prolific amount of work without any pandering. Truth has lost value in a society that looks to charlatans to give them easy, often fake answers,” he continued. “I rather stay true in Dudetopia.”
Coley may not be a household name but his numerous singles and music videos have him a cult following as a self-proclaimed “Enlightener and Hustlutionary.” As the CEO of Revel Media, he has full ownership of his masters and entire music catalog.
“You learn so much more building life on your own terms than you do from school or a job”, Coley said. Coley would know, as his beginnings were on Wall Street as an Investment Banker.
Since leaving his day job abruptly, he has amassed tremendous respect.
He has worked with Bun B, Nelly, Wale, Jermaine Dupri, Bone Thugs & Harmony, and even NBA legend Allen Iverson on an MTV Fashion Week event.
2020 could’ve marked the end of his journey after Coley almost died from Covid-19. Surviving has not deterred him. “Life is beautifully f##ked sometimes but I try to turn all manure into crops,” he lamented. “Music helps me inspire others to deal with life positively.”
With the release of Coley’s 10th studio album Dudetopia, Coley has triumphantly continued his unique sound and authentic spiritual approach to life.
Damon Dash just suffered a loss to Monique Bunn after a California Federal Judge ruled that he and his girlfriend Raquel Horn are responsible for damaging property that belonged to the photographer.
AllHipHop.com reported in December that this legal drama started on April 18th, 2019. It was reported that Bunn stayed the night at Dash’s mansion in Los Angeles.
She was there to do a photoshoot for his Poppington brand.
Damon has denied all of her claims regarding the alleged assault. But … he has not denied withholding a drive with all 100,000 pictures that she took of famous rappers, celebrities, and influencers.
Now a judge is ruling that the couple are on the hook for converting Bunn’s property – almost 100,000 photographs.
The parties will go to trial to determine what Damon Dash, Raquel Horn, and their company Poppington LLC will have to fork out It will most likely be far less than the $51 million Bunn was seeking, although the final verdict will surely cost Damon hundreds-of-thousands of dollars.
“Damon Dash has dragged my name and character for no reason at all,” Monique Bunn told AllHipHop.com in a statement. “He accused me of stealing when in fact, it was Damon Dash and Raquel Horn that broke the law. I look forward to establishing the damages at trial and putting this behind me.”
Lawyer Christopher Brown, who was brutally berated at the hands of Damon Dash during a seperate deposition over another lawsuit the lawyer filed against the mogul, also issued a statement regarding his latest victory in his war with the former boss of Roc-A-Fella Records.
The news of his five-year prison bid was shared by music executive and Authentic Empire founder Boomman on social media.

The release marks the second single from his upcoming second solo album, following “Nutshell Part 2” ft. Busta Rhymes & Redman.
For “French Kiss Deux” Phife teams up with J Dilla’s younger brother Illa J, to pay homage to all the beautiful sights in Montreal.

Chicago-raised hip hop artist Kapitol P, known from A&E’s Voices Magnified: Locked Up In America (voiced by Chris “Ludacris” Bridges) had no easy upbringing… but music is showing him a new path.
Kapitol P gave the world a taste of his music with the release of his debut single, “Free Em’ All,” featuring his uncle current Black Panther Party Chairman Fred Hampton Jr. — only child of Chairman Fred Hampton in which the featured film Judas and the Black Messiah starring Daniel Kaluuya and Lakeith Stanfield is based on.
Now, the rising star releases his highly anticipated second single “Members” featuring Detroit’s own Icewear Vezzo and Murf Dilly on all digital platforms. The record is getting a lot of thumbs up and traffic with the release of the music video on YouTube.
Kapitol P’s music talks about his 10-year sentence, being released in the middle of a pandemic, street life, time behind bars, living life, along with the many injustices, and struggles black people have gone through fighting for what they believe. Kapitol P is lyrical with a flow unmatched to make him a major stamp in the hip-hop community.
Kapitol P is currently working on his EP, slated to be released this summer. With each release, he proves he’s here to stay and ready to push forward leaving the qualms of his past behind him.
As female artists continue to take over the game, Ayzha Nyree is here to put her best foot forward.
Hailing from Fredericksburg, Virginia but claiming Auburn, New York as her roots, the rising star continues to build her online presence in both music and social media, exploding onto the scene with her remix of Chris Brown’s “No Guidance” — a video that went completely viral on TikTok.
In describing herself, she states, “I’m a singer, songwriter, dancer. Trying to be an influencer, learning the social media world. [laughs] I’m big on TikTok.”
Boasting a whopping 1.9 million followers on TikTok alone, Ayzha plans to bring that same energy into her music. Following the release of her previous singles “HOLY CLASS” and “TLC,” the recording artist returns with her newest single and visual titled “NOYA.”
Whether you discover her through her vocals, her bars, or her bubbly personality, it’s hard not to fall in love with Ayzha instantaneously.
AllHipHop: How would you describe your sound?
Ayzha Nyree: Think of Lil Baby, Gunna, all of those guys, but if they were girls. One of my favorite sounds is the trap wave. I love to sing on it, so I’m really a singer. I’m really into Alicia Keys, Adele, Jazmine Sullivan, I was obsessed with her growing up. I love her, she’s awesome. It’s a mix between R&B like Rihanna, almost Ariana Grande because I love pop as well, crossed with Lil Baby and Gunna. No, we’ll say Jhene Aiko. Jhene Aiko’s my favorite female artist of all-time, she’s the best.
AllHipHop: What was the inspiration behind your name?
Ayzha Nyree: That’s my real name. My name is Ayzha Nicole Nyree Huff. Nicole’s my mom’s middle name, and Nyree’s my aunt’s middle name. My aunt was an artist when she was my age as well. She was in this super cool girl group, she’s so fire. If you see her now, she just turned 43 but she looks like she’s my age. She’s so bad, vibey, everything. Swag everyday. She’s fire. Her voice, everything about her is so dope. When I was coming up with my name, I had a bunch of different ideas and I didn’t like it. I thought “damn, I could just do Ayzha,” because my name’s spelled super funky. That could be cool, but I wanted two names. People can still call me Ayzha or call me Nyree, but I wanted two names because I wanted two contrasting ideas.
Because I’m a Gemini, I thought “I could do Ayzha Nyree! Nyree’s literally my middle name, I could do that!” I see my aunt doing it, but my aunt 2.0 because we’re doing it again. This time, we’re going to take it to the moon. It’s really exciting.
AllHipHop: Talk about your two sides with the names.
Ayzha Nyree: Ayzha’s my more timid, bubbly side. Nyree’s more my edgier, fierce side: fearless, real fine, bossed up, then you have Ayzha. I’m the spirit queen, so I love spirituality, I love meditating, I love talking about spiritual stuff. I love different religions, finding out about different people’s beliefs. I’m super into unity and love. It’s two completely different sides, but I love it.
Ayzha Nyree: Yeah man, I have some really dope rappers dropping verses on it. I cannot wait ‘till we drop all of them. The way I’m hearing other people’s ideas and other people’s renditions on the beat, it’s the coolest thing. There’s this girl Morgan mowinski, she posted one and her melody was so hard. It was so fire. I’m excited. I love seeing people’s renditions and hearing what they hear out the beat versus what I heard, it’s so dope.
AllHipHop: I love the cello in the song too!
Ayzha Nyree: Oh my gosh, my homeboy Lord Capp made the beat. He created this cello sample electronically. When we shot the video, the director found this girl. Her name’s Tara, she’s hard with the cello. She’s crazy with it. We did this cover, she also played in my music video. Her fingers were moving so fast, bruh. The cello has to be one of my favorite instruments. I have this new song coming out soon called “Get Ready,” it has the cello in it. People are going to go nuts when they hear it, it’s so fire.
AllHipHop: How’d you find your way to Republic Records?
Ayzha Nyree: Republic hit me up in the midst of “No Guidance” going insane. They came the hardest between all the other labels. I was very stubborn when the labels hit me up. I told my manager: “don’t get your hopes up because I’m not signing with nobody. I want my masters, I want creative control. I want to feel like I’m in charge. I want to put the work in. I don’t want nothing easy, I don’t want no handouts.” I want to be an owner and a boss when I do it. Every other label, they wouldn’t hear it. Which is cool, I expected that. I did without a label in the beginning, I don’t care.
Republic on the other hand, said “what you want?” I said “this is what I want,” they said “alright, bet. It was really like that. It was that simple. There was a little bit of negotiating, minor stuff with the lawyers, but it was very simple. I got along with everybody on the call. Everybody’s super vibrant, they all look out for me. They’re really helping me throughout my development and my journey, helping me learn. Because I’m like a baby, I think of it as being a freshman in college. I was a senior in high school, killing the game in sports, all that good stuff. Now I’m in college, my freshman year. Alright, let’s get it started!
Savannah, Georgia rapper Quando Rondo was targeted by gunman who attempted to kill him yesterday morning.
According to the cops, the rapper stopped at a local convenience store in Blackshear, Georgia following his sparsely attended performance at an area nightclub.

Quando Rondo has been the subject of multiple threats of violence, after a beef with Chicago rapper King Von turned deadly.
Lil Wayne heaped praise and respect on late rapper DMX during a gig in Miami, Florida over the weekend.
The “Lollipop” hitmaker was performing as part of Trillerfest when he took a moment to honor the fallen star, who died on April 9th, aged 50.
Sharing a story about touring with DMX, Wayne said:
“When I was a younger kid, we used to be on tour a lot, right. Like six months a year. We used to have so many artists we didn’t need to have no opening acts ’cause we just needed another record label, and it was just us and them. So back then we went on this tour called The Cash Money/Ruff Ryders Tour.
“Being from New Orleans, it’s so far away from New York and Cali (California) and s### like that. We didn’t know if it was real when we seen it on TV, the New York guys, the L.A. people. So when we saw DMX, we all fell in love.”
He added, “When I got on tour with him, and now you’re in the hotel lobby, you’re backstage, you run into a n#### and he actually says something to you, and when you see this nihga talk like how he rap, and you see this n#### is what he is, and you see this n#### has a zillion dogs with him…, it’s impossible not to be obsessed, infatuated, impressed, whatever.”
Wayne’s tribute came a week after DMX’s family and friends staged a memorial service at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center in New York.
NLE Choppa allegedly got into a huge brawl on the beach, apparently over the weekend that just passed. First things first, people are calling him out on his meditation and enlightenment phase that seemingly has completely passed. As you all know this website has been interviewing NLE for quite some time, right when he started to pop. So we like him a lot. We also love to see that he was growing significantly, even though he was still a very young person. He’s made it a point to talk about being on a higher plane of existence. But is it real?
Well, here’s the deal. NLE Choppa seemingly got into a fight and caught a punch square on the jaw. In fact, the dude that got jumped by several of the crew allegedly only got in one punch. That punch looks like it hit “Choppa” flush. This COULD be completely fake quite frankly, because the video is extremely grainy. New technology, i.e. cell phones has a loud for a really crisp and clear video footage. HOWEVER, I saw another one and it has a more crispy look and appears to be Choppa. This version looks like something from the 80s or the 90s to be honest.
But, if it is NLE Choppa then he caught that SINGLE punch AND got beat up thoroughly for it. In the video a woman is yelling at them to break it up and saying stuff like “it’s not fair, but you know how things go. A fair one = a beat down. Now the fans are asking “Will the real Choppa please stand up?!” Also, where did these guys learn how to fight!?
