King Von’s Manager Also Recovering From Gunshot Wound; Chance the Rapper Reacts

Chance The Rapper has paid tribute to rising musician King Von after he was fatally shot outside an Atlanta, Georgia nightclub.

The 26-year-old, who hailed from Chicago, Illinois, and was signed to hip-hop star Lil Durk’s label, was hospitalized in the early hours of Friday following the incident, which unfolded as he left the Monaco Hookah Lounge.

He was listed in a critical condition, but subsequently died from his injuries. His manager, who is recovering after also sustaining gunshot wounds, confirmed Von’s death.

After learning of Von’s loss, his fellow Chicago native Chance took to Twitter to mourn his passing.

“Wow. This year was so tough,” he tweeted. “rip von God bless him and his family I can’t believe it.”

Details surrounding the clash are unclear, but reports suggest Von, real name Dayvon Daquan Bennett, had been caught up in a confrontation between two groups of men, who opened fire on one another.

Off-duty police officers were also involved in the shooting, which is now under investigation by members of the Georgia Bureau of Investigation and Atlanta Police Homicide.

Authorities have since stated three civilians died from the incident and three others were hospitalized. They have yet to release the identities of those involved.

Rapper Lul Timm was arrested for King Von’s murder and charged with homicide.

N$G Records Founder Fresh Porter Talks “DOGG JIGGA” Featuring Pooh Shiesty

Fresh Porter has the streets tuned all the way in.

Hailing from Petersburg, Virginia, the rising artist is on his way to becoming one of the greats. Creating an immense local buzz, the trapper turned rapper has the ultimate cosign from Trey Songz, who comes from his hometown. Having served 4 years in prison, he details his story in his lyrics: from behind bars to becoming his own independent label owner.

Growing up during a time when everybody wanted to be the Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, Porter was always the cool kid who had all the nice clothes. Previously rapping under the name Lil Fresh, it was his friend Lala who gave him the name Fresh Porter in the MySpace days — and it’s stuck ever since. With Paid In Full being his favorite film, and Rich Porter being his favorite character, there was no looking back.

Standing as his own boss and CEO of N$G Records, Porter has been keeping busy working with everyone from Boosie and Pusha T to Dolph and Rich The Kid.

With his newest single “DOGG JIGGA” featuring Gucci Mane’s artist Pooh Shiesty, Porter flexes his ability to not only create street anthems, but hit records.

AllHipHop: Being from Virginia, what were you seeing growing up?

Fresh Porter: Petersburg is a small city, population of 30,000 people at the most. It’s a real tough environment, a lot of violence and a lot of killings there. Also a lot of talented people come out of Virginia. Folks like Trey Songz, Post Malone, Frank Mason who’s actually my cousin, he plays pointguard for the Milkwaukee Bucks. A lot of athletes come out of Virginia, very talented athletes. I actually was an athlete myself, I played basketball. My life started to take a turn, started getting into trouble and getting involved with the streets. I had to turn my life around. I just did 4 years in prison, I’ve only been home for 7 months.

AllHipHop: What were you locked up for?

Fresh Porter: Possession with intent, distribute crack cocaine and marijuana.

AllHipHop: Biggest lesson you learned behind bars?

Fresh Porter: Value your time. Always value your time and value the people who love you. You never know who’s really there for you until you’re at your lowest. The best people, the most important people in your life will usually show up. It also reveals who’s really not there for you.

AllHipHop: At what point did you realize you could do music for a living?

Fresh Porter: During my incarceration. Before I got incarcerated, I did a lot of features. I wasn’t taking it as serious as I should. I was still involved in a lot of street activities: selling drugs, etc. Rap’s always something I wanted since I was 9 years old. I always had the talent but it took me to really sit down, put together a plan, really let it take over my life so I know exactly what I wanted and what’s my calling.

Once I figured out it’s music, I kept going. I have a song out right now on all platforms called “F### Going On.” I dropped the song in December 2015, it did 2 million views on WorldStar. When I was gone, it picked up steam and started spreading. A lot of people started listening to it. When I came home, it’s one of the hottest records in the club. That gave me a lot of motivation, damn they really still rocking with me. They want me to do this music thing. The support from my fans kept me going. Wanting more music, I never wanted to let them down. I always wanted to make my family proud.

AllHipHop: You just released “DOGG JIGGA” with Pooh Shiesty, how’d that record came about?

Fresh Porter: Dogg Jigga is a legendary person from my neighborhood, where I’m from. A legendary guy in the city of Petersburg, period. He was big, real influential on me. He’s the first person to book me for a show, to give me an opportunity to showcase my talents. First person I gave my CD to. When I made one of my first CDs, I gave it to him first. He was always motivational. Always telling me to keep going and keep my head up, stay focused on the music. Paying homage to him, I wanted to do it for Jig.

I had just a regular song, I felt “man if I’ma do it for Dogg, I’ma do it all the way big.” Linking with Pooh Shiesty, he’s one of the hottest artists out right now too. One of my partners was riding around for some shows, I asked “how much could I get for a feature?” He gave me the price, I booked him. I sent the song to him, he sent me the verse back and the rest was history. He came to my hood, we shot the video. It was crazy! I actually brought the majority of my city out for the video, it was unity. We didn’t have no police issues, none of that. I had people from different hoods out there with no violence, it was all love. He came out there with no security, I salute him for that.

AllHipHop: Best memory from that video shoot?

Fresh Porter: When I had everybody out there screaming “Dogg Jigga!” From the beginning of the video all the way to the end, you could hear everybody screaming “Dogg Jigga, big boss n*gga!” I know he was smiling down on us. I know he was happy about it.

AllHipHop: How did you get tapped in with Trey Songz?

Fresh Porter: Trey’s always been a big homie to me, a big brother. Before I got locked up, he was helping me get signed with 300 Entertainment. He flew me out to New Orleans, I met with Kevin Liles. It was between them or Think It’s a Game Records based out of Atlanta. He’s always been the biggest thang we had in Petersburg, it was always Trey Songz. When I finally get to meet him, he took me up under his wing. He kept me motivated, working with me and gave me advice. Now he’s more a mentor to me. I’m actually on the way to Atlanta right now, he has an album release party. Going to kick it with him on that.

AllHipHop: Best piece of advice he gave you?

Fresh Porter: Never stop grinding, keep going. He said it’s going to be a lot easier. You know, he’s been through a lot throughout his career. He gives me a lot of stories about transitions, a lot of transitions in life. Everybody can’t go. You got to keep the people close to you, close to you. You have to do away with a lot of people who might not be beneficial to your career or aren’t going down the same path you’re on. He told me to stay focused and don’t let nothing deter me from what I’m trying to do.

AllHipHop: 3 things you need in the studio?

Fresh Porter: Women, I like them bringing vibes to the session. Beautiful women, whether it’s one girl, 2 girls, 3 girls. I get motivated. Most of the time, women are the ones who control the club. If they’re dancing to your record, they’re happy with your records, they’ll come to your shows and the guys will follow. A microphone of course. Red Bull and LifeSaver Gummies, the Neon ones!

https://www.instagram.com/p/CGv7wcFAweq/

AllHipHop: You posted “real trap n*gga.” How hard was it to walk away from the streets?

Fresh Porter: I got tired of being in the streets. You get to a point where I’ve been doing the same thing my whole adulthood, since a teenager. It’s the realist s### ever. Sitting there watching my homies die, watching my homies go to jail, I go to jail, this person got shot, you keep getting those different phone calls. When I had the opportunity to do something positive that’d break me away from this s###, it was free game. I get to inspire my children, spend time with them more. My daughter wants to rap now, I shot her a video. It wasn’t hard at all leaving the streets.

AllHipHop: Talk about how you got in with all these artists: Dolph, Boosie, Pusha T.

Fresh Porter: As an independent artist, you got to have some type of bag when you come in the game. Some artists go viral off pure talent. Some things catch like that but for the most part, you have to know how to invest your money wisely. Those are my favorite artists, I only do features with people I actually listen to. I wasn’t reaching out to people because they’re hot, people I could listen and relate to. It made sense. I got a feature from Pusha T, he didn’t even charge me for the feature.

AllHipHop: Really?

Fresh Porter: Yeah, he’s a big fan of my music. I told him “my album won’t be complete until I got a feature from you.” I DMed him, he DMed me right back like “send me something with an open space.” I sent it to him, he sent me the verse right back.

AllHipHop: How does that make you feel?

Fresh Porter: It makes me feel like I’m taking steps into the right direction. I still got a lot more work to put in. I’m not rich, I haven’t made it. I’ve got to keep my mindset like that so I never get complacent. There’s always more to accomplish, I’m never satisfied by my success. I’ll never be satisfied with any success I have until I know for sure I’m able to bring other people up to success, let them have it and put them on. That’s what it’s all about. If you’re always looking to give back, God gon’ always keep you with something to give.

AllHipHop: What can we expect from your forthcoming album?

Fresh Porter: My album’s coming up! It’s gon’ be legendary to say the least. It’s gon’ be a classic. I put a lot of work and time into it. A lot of it comes from paying respect behind bars, all those nights. Really up pondering and thinking about my life, the things I’ve been through. There’s a lot of life stories in there, you got a lot of turn up records. I got great features, major artists like Trey Songz, of course Pusha T, Pooh Shiesty. I also got features from guys in my N$G camp, my label called Never Stop Grinding. We’re more a family, it’s a lifestyle. I got Mistletoast E, Pullman, a lot of different artists coming up under me. We’re trying to make it happen.

AllHipHop: When did you start the label and where do you want to see it going?

Fresh Porter: I started the label end of 2014. I was living in Seattle, Washington, it was something I wanted to do. Back then, man I can claim my money up. I looked at it from a particular way, not gon’ lie to you. I started going to meetings, flew to LA 20 times meeting different entertainment lawyers. I started seeing man, I can really make a difference and make a change. There’s so much talent coming out of my city. I link with artists everywhere, but the talent in Petersburg, Virginia is unmatched. From what I’ve seen, we’re a small city. We don’t have a lot of light shining on us, I plan to bring my career to the forefront and help the others around me.

AllHipHop: Anything else you want to let us know?

Fresh Porter: I’m lit as f###! [laughs] I’m just another hustler from Virginia. I’m an entrepreneur, I have a couple businesses back home. I’m big on ownership: always own your own masters. I’ve been doing this independent thing, I had no handouts. I had a lot of help and support but everything I got, I worked hard for. I’ll continue to stay grinding, I want people to tap in and tune in with me. The best is yet to come, it’s only going to get better.

Jeezy Is The Latest Celebrity To Launch A Podcast

Jeezy’s transition from being a rapper is in full swing. Just two months ago, on his 43rd birthday, he announced that he would be dropping the Worth a Conversation With Jay “Jeezy” Jenkins show on FOX Soul.

Now, he is collaborating with Charlamagne Tha God to launch a podcast that will further [re]-introduce the Atlanta native to the world as a top-notch talk personality with his even newer show.

Monday, November 9, the GRAMMY-nominated trap pioneer will launch The (Re)Session Podcast by Jeezy, a new weekly 8-episode limited series on the Charlamagne Tha GOD and iHeartMedia’s The Black Effect Podcast Network.

If you think that the “And Then What” rapper was only gonna be talking about the streets and keeping it real, you would be wrong. Dead wrong.

Some of the subjects that he will address will be mental health, economics, prison reform, police brutality, grief, systemic racism, community, and spirituality.

Charlamagne was excited to work with Jeezy, noting that his journey is not only inspirational but will make him a great business partner.

Jeezy is excited to build out the next phase of his career with the radio hall of famer and iHeartRadio.

“I’m excited to partner with my trusted friend Charlamagne and the Black Effect Podcast Network/iHeart media team,” said Jeezy. “As I make the next moves in my career, I can think of no better partner to help amplify my voice and expand my reach than my brother Charlamagne, who has built an incredible, groundbreaking brand in the media space.”

The podcast comes right before his new album (10th studio album), THE RECESSION 2, and his Verzuz against T.I. on November 19th.

2 Chainz Teamed With Dr. Fauci To Fight Coronavirus Pandemic

2 Chainz and Katy Perry were among the musicians who took part in a private Zoom call with Dr. Anthony Fauci back in April to discuss the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.

Kim Kardashian was responsible for organising the virtual conversation, with the identities of the other participants unknown until Fauci – the director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases and a member of the White House coronavirus task force – gave an interview to CNN about the chat.

As well as Katy, 2 Chainz and Kim, the call included other stars including Ashton Kutcher, Mila Kunis, Orlando Bloom, Gwyneth Paltrow and Brad Falchuk.

In total, there were 36 celebrities, musicians and athletes on with Fauci, for the call which lasted around an hour.

“It was a whole bunch of movie stars and some sports figures and they wanted to know about what they could do to stay safe, about wearing masks and avoiding crowds,” Fauci, 79, told CNN. “I was impressed by the questions they asked, by their level of sophistication.”

Reflecting on how the participating celebrities could use their profiles like “megaphones” to “get the word out about staying safe”, Fauci added: “I could say to them, for example, it’s important to wear a mask, and they get on their accounts and say ‘wear a mask’ and it goes out to an additional couple of million people.”

Were These King Von’s Final Words? Management Disputes It!

Rest in peace King Von!

Update #2:

Not to be outdone, Asian Doll LASHES back at King Von’s manager:

She said what she said!

UPDATE: King Von’s manager said folks are cappin’ – I am not sure exactly how he can dispute what Von may have said to Asian Doll. But here is what he’s going to say.

Here’s Asian Doll’s account.

The untimely death of King Von has struck a hard and heavy blow to the Hip-Hop community and now the ripples are flowing. Asian Doll, who he was in a relationship, relayed his alleged last words. Here they are:

“Y’all Let Them N*ggas Get Up On Me, Stop Crying Y’all Let Them Get Me”

Now, she is going off on the people that were around Von when he was killed. Initially, the word was the cops did it but that does not seem to be the case unless the cops are pinning this on somebody else. Nevertheless, Von’s last words said they left him essentially for dead. Obviously, I am not one of these kinds of guys, but they just seem ill-equipped to deal with this stuff. A lot of people have said they don’t believe Asian Doll and scream “cap,” but I don’t think she is lying. One of Von’s closest guys said the same exact thing in his Instagram story.

It just looks like a really sad, sad story about a dude trying to change his condition despite a past that was sketchy, and ultimately things caught up to him.

What do you guys think about the last words of King Von do you think it’s real or not?

Who Murdered King Von? Who Dissed Him Right Before His Death?

By the way, Rondo is a father just like Von was. Wake up.

Drakeo The Ruler Shares First Video Since His Release – “Fights Don’t Matter”

Last week, Drakeo The Ruler was granted long overdue freedom.

Shocking no one but those unfamiliar with his relentless work ethic, he went straight to the studio when he was released.

He’s already recorded enough to share a full project, and last night he gave us the first taste with the single and video for “Fights Don’t Matter.”

On the song, Drakeo sneers double entendres, “When I left the coupe, all you saw was banana peels/He aint Dodge sh*t tryna pull off in that Challenger.”

In the video, Drakeo celebrates as he should, counting up stacks, surrounded by the Stinc Team.

There Is An Alleged $1 Million “Hit” On Quando Rondo!

I don’t know who this guy in the video below is, but he calls himself a “street reporter.” Well, the street reporter started a rumor and he doesn’t have any facts or even any real sources. He just talks about what he’s hearing. Well, what he’s hearing is that the BD’s have a hit out on Quando Rondo to the sum of $1 million. That’s a lot of money! If he heard it, then you know the feds heard it! If he heard it, then you know the cops heard it! If he heard it, then Quando Rondo probably heard it! NBA Young Boy had to hear this if it is true! I am not quite sure what the point of all of this is because this sounds like putting a bullet in your direction just for getting in the middle! People stay doing stuff for the clout! I’m not mad at him though, He’s got people talking! I wouldn’t be the one to deliver this news. At any rate, the way the streets work is they you kill somebody for free because they killed your homey. At least that’s what I think, but what do I know?

The reality is this is complicated and, if you receive $1 million in any form or fashion, not only are you probably going to get killed for it!  You are going to have a whole ‘nother problem! See people with common sense think about things like this and I have a lot of common sense. A lot of Instagrams have gone dark or have been canceled and a lot of people are very quiet now.

If you remember, the early time after the death of King Von, was very loud and a lot of people were saying a lot on social media. It seems like smarter heads have prevailed and they are no longer out there saying they are going to kill the opposition. That’s exactly what they were saying at first – kill kill kill! I’m thinking maybe killing isn’t the remedy right now because we’ve already lost far too many young people to senseless death. Meanwhile, we just made some history with this election if that matters but, the tide of the country is shifting. And we need more love and positivity. I know that’s hard to tell somebody they just lost their homeboy and the way out of the hood. But that’s just the way it is. Now, you just have to get it how you can but killing somebody is probably the least likely way to change your circumstance right now. That said, I hope there’s not a $1 million bounty wanna Quando Rondo‘s head because that would ensure that somebody will try to kill him. I mean, I don’t want anybody to die but $1 million is quite a bit. It could be all cap too. It might not be. You might remember at one point somebody named Jeezy put up a few thousand to snatch somebody named Gucci Mane’s chain off of his neck and a man was killed. So the streets will respond if there is an actual bounty on the head of Quando Rondo. By the way, a man was arrested in Von’s death. The sad part is we don’t even really know what’s happening at this moment. That doesn’t really matter it’s just gonna be another n-word dead.

Not sure if this dude is authentic and/or real, but here it is.

Busta Rhymes Throat Polyps And Nipsey Hussle Helped Him Lose Weight

The tragic death of Nipsey Hussle inspired fellow rapper Busta Rhymes to start taking his health more seriously and embark on a mission to lose his “pregnant” belly.

The Hip-Hop veteran recently showed off his body transformation with before and after photos on Instagram, sharing a snap of his newly-toned stomach after previously sporting a bulging gut.

He offered up words of encouragement to others needing a little morale boost, and now Busta reveals that while the coronavirus shutdown gave him the extra time to really focus on his fitness, it was the 2019 murder of 33-year-old Hussle which sparked his decision to embark on a new health kick.

“I said, ‘If this is not the sign to get yourself together, I don’t know what else will be,'” Busta, 48, told the New York Post. “And at that point I made my decision to get my life together, and I immediately got into this transformation journey.”

The father-of-six, who reveals he had also been recovering from an operation to treat throat polyps, also wanted to get in shape for the sake of his family.

“When you really sit back and you think about it, it’s selfish…,” Busta said of his prior weight gain. “Why are you putting yourself in a situation when you can actually collapse and die, and you got all of these people that love you that you’re responsible for? It was unfair to them – and unfair to myself.”

The What’s It Gonna Be?! hitmaker turned to his personal trainers for help, while he also credits healthy eating program Weight Watchers and his Peloton exercise bike for his slim down.

“I was 340 pounds – and it was challenging as hell to come to terms with that,” he confessed. “But I currently weigh 254 pounds, so I’m almost down 100 pounds.

“I had the stomach that looked like I was nine months pregnant, and then I had the stomach with the six-pack.”

After seeing the response to his lifestyle overhaul, Busta wants to use his experience to motivate others to get into shape.

“It’s been a blessing to be able to see this through and be able to share it with people and inspire people,” he said, “because that’s the goal at the end of the day for me.”

Young Thug Associate Accused Of Shooting Lil Wayne’s Tour Bus Gets Released From Jail

A former road manager reportedly involved in firing at Lil Wayne’s tour bus is a free man. Jimmy “Peewee Roscoe” Winfrey was connected to Cash Money Records head Bryan “Birdman” William and Rich Gang affiliate Young Thug.

The violent 2015 altercation was allegedly a response to Winfrey and Wayne arguing outside Atlanta’s Compound nightclub in April of that year. No one was injured during the shooting on the I-85 highway, but the gunfire reportedly caused more than $20,000 in damages.

In 2015, Birdman and Wayne were in the middle of a financial dispute over unpaid royalties and album advance money. Plus, Wayne was publicly feuding with Young Thug over Birdman’s protégé naming his project Barter 6. That title was seen by some people as disrespectful because Wayne had already established the Carter album series which had only reached the fourth installment at the time.

WSBTV reported that court documents listed Young Thug and Birdman as co-conspirators in the plot to kill Wayne. At one point, Winfrey’s legal team argued that Birdman should be held liable as a party to the crime. Both Birdman and Thug denied any involvement and neither man was charged in connection to the shooting.

Over the weekend, Young Thug welcomed Peewee Roscoe home with a video posted on Instagram. The clip featured Thugger’s friend saying that he was a “different m###########” after being gifted a Gideon Bible, presumably while he was still incarcerated.

On his own IG page, Peewee Roscoe uploaded a photo of himself on the steps of a private jet. The picture’s caption read, “IM FREE DEATHB4DISHONOR $LATTMAFIA BIZNE$$ 4EVERYOUNG GOATFREE BANKROLLMAFIA Y$L.”

Winfrey pled guilty to two counts of violation of the Street Gang Terrorism and Prevention Act earlier this year. He originally pled guilty to six of the 27 counts and sentenced to 10 years in prison in that Cobb County, Georgia case. The conviction was overturned by the Georgia Supreme Court in 2018.

As part of the new plea deal, the other 25 charges against Winfrey were dropped. He was given credit for time served and ordered to pay $100,000 in restitution to one of the bus drivers. In August, Winfrey was booked into the Alachua County jail in Gainesville, Florida for an outstanding drug charge from 2014.

“He was released from his Georgia sentence in August but was transferred to Florida on a probation violation case,” Winfrey’s lawyer, Steven Sadow, told XXL. “That Florida probation violation case was just resolved and he is now released from jail.”

YG & Nipsey Hussle’s “FDT” Rises 740% In Sales After The Election Of Joe Biden

American citizens are set to have a new President of the United States. Democratic Former Vice President Joe Biden is headed to the White House in 2021 after defeating incumbent Republican Donald Trump in the 2020 presidential election.

People across the country took to the streets in joy following the announcement that Biden won the race and Trump would only be a one-term president. 2016’s “FDT (F### Donald Trump)” by YG featuring the late Nipsey Hussle became an official anthem of the 2020 celebrations.

Billboard reports that “FDT” saw a 740% jump in sales on November 7, the day the Joe Biden-Kamala Harris ticket earned enough Electoral College votes to secure the overall victory by winning Pennsylvania. An increase in sales for “FDT” actually started on Election Day (November 3).

The Still Brazy track was downloaded 3,000 times on November 7. On that date, YG and Nipsey’s song rose to #1 on the iTunes chart around an hour after Biden was named the winner. “FDT” re-entered the Spotify Top 200 Daily U.S. chart at #10 with 799,928 streams.

In addition, Mary J. Blige’s “Work That” off the 2007 album Growing Pains experienced a significant rise in sales. The Queen of Hip Hop Soul’s single was downloaded 2,000 times on November 7 after “Work That” became the soundtrack for Vice President-Elect Kamala Harris’s acceptance speech on Saturday night.

Lil Nas X Releases Trailer For New Single “Holiday” Featuring Michael J. Fox

In 2019, Lil Nas X made history when his breakout hit “Old Town Road” held onto the #1 spot of the Hot 100 for 19 weeks. That year also saw the arrival of his 7 EP, but he has been relatively quiet over the last year when it comes to music.

LNX is now ready to release his next official single. “Holiday” will be available this Friday, November 13. A trailer for the song was uploaded to YouTube on Sunday. Back to the Future star Michael J. Fox makes a cameo in the teaser.

“Whatever you do, Nas, don’t go to 2020,” says Fox as a cowboy character in the clip. With COVID-19, civil unrest, climate change disasters, and a contentious presidential election in America, “2020 is the worst year ever” has become a meme.

Lil Nas X’s “Holiday” will land just in time for the holiday season. Billboard, Spotify, and Apple Music charts are usually dominated by Christmas music during the last two months of the year.

Dr. Dre’s Wife Wants To Know If He Has “Love Children” Running Around

Nicole Young filed for divorce from her famous Hip-Hop mogul husband, Dr. Dre earlier this summer.

Amid the rush of the coronavirus, she asked for their marriage to be dissolved and has unleashed soap opera level tea on the couple’s over two-decade relationship.

Young recently filed an additional complaint against the beatmaker, hoping that it adds to her case (where she is asking for a substantive dollar amount of compensation for being his wife).

During their union, at least two children were fathered by Dre (whose real name is Andre Young). Nicole and Dre share a son Truice, 23, and a 19-year-old daughter Truly.

Now she contends that there may be additional children from other relationships out there and she wants this to come forward.

In a newly filed legal document, Young notes that she is looking for paperwork regarding children that he may have had while married to her or paternity actions that he might have made to deal with.

Despite Los Angeles being a “no-fault” divorce state, Nicole believes that showing that Dre is a cheater will get her closer to claiming a big portion of Dre’s $850 million fortune.

A couple of weeks ago, she named three women, Jillian Speer, Kili Anderson, and Crystal Rogers, believing he had a sexual relationship with the women.

Nicole Young subpoenaed them to come forward and dish on their rendezvous.

Police Charge Rapper Lul Timm With Murdering King Von

Pollice in Atlanta has a suspect in custody for the shooting death of Chicago rapper King Von, born Dayvon Bennett.

According to reports, a 22-year-old rapper Lul Timm, real name Timothy Leeks, has been charged with Von’s murder on Friday morning (November 6th).

Leeks was one of six people shot and wounded during a brawl between Von’s crew and another group of men in front of the Monaco Hookah Lounge.

The cops say Leeks is recovering from a gunshot wound, but he has already been charged with the murder as he recuperates.

Leeks is a native of Savannah, Georgia, where he was already in trouble with the law and growing his rap sheet. In August, investigators seized a stockpile of guns and 15 pounds of marijuana from Leeks.

For those crimes, Leeks was charged with conspiracy to violate the Georgia Controlled Substance Act, as well as theft by receiving stolen property and obstruction.

Investigators are still trying to determine who fired the fatal shots that killed another person. Those bullets may have been fired by one of the two off-duty police officers working at the Hookah Lounge when the gunplay started.

Sources claim Leeks and fellow Savannah native Quando Rondo were involved in the dispute with King Von and his friends, which escalated to a fight, and eventually murder as the crossed paths in the parking lot of the hookah lounge.

“It’s extremely concerning to us that people would be so brazen and so bold as to commit a crime like this in front of a police officer,” APD office John Chafee said during a press conference. “We believe that he was actually shot and that initial exchange of gunfire between the two groups, and that is what led to police involvement and where police then engage the shooters.”

The prior evening, two other people were shot in the parking lot of the lounge, which is being investigated and treated as a separate incident.

Late Rapper Notorious B.I.G. Inducted Into Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame

After being postponed in May due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame’s 35th annual induction honored Nine Inch Nails, The Doobie Brothers, Depeche Mode.

The iconic soul-stirring Whitney Houston and the legendary Brooklyn-born rapper the Notorious B.I.G. were posthumously inducted during the night as well.

Like so many other ceremonies or award shows held this year, the HOF celebrated the inducted Class of 2020 with a pre-recorded 128-minute special that aired on HBO and SiriusXM radio on November 7.

The show featured special guests such as Alicia Keys, Lin-Manuel Miranda, and Bruce Springsteen but not as many performances as usually expected.

Many wondered why it took so long for Whitney Houston to have made the Hall of Fame.

The Newark songbird was one of the biggest-selling solo female artists of all time and still holds the record for the most triple-crown hits by a female artist when she topped three Billboard charts: Hot 100, R&B, and Adult Contemporary chart, with four singles―”Saving All My Love for You,” “How Will I Know,” “All the Man That I Need,” and “I Will Always Love You.”

However, many are grateful for Biggie’s inclusion.

Before his untimely death in 1997, Big Poppa was already set (after only two albums) to be one of the most influential rappers of all time.

The induction lists him in the ranks of other Hip-Hop acts such as Grandmaster Flash and the Furious Five (2007), Run-D.M.C. (2009), Beastie Boys (2012), Public Enemy (2013), and N.W.A (2016) who are members of the Hall of Fame.

Because life is really poetry, Biggie joins his one-time friend 2Pac, who was inducted in 2017, as the only solo acts from the culture included in the Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame.

PETA Accuses Lil Pump Of Violating The Animal Welfare Act Over Elephant Stunt

Lil Pump is not having the best week.

First, the candidate he threw his support behind [President Trump] has lost and now it appears that he has PETA p##### after being spotted jesting with wild animals in a private zoo.

He is not the first rapper to be singled out by the organization, but it definitely feels different as the organization has reached out to the government to intervene.

The Florida artist was captured on video climbing and posing on the trunk of an elephant named Bubble’s and playing with some baby tigers during a visit to a wildlife park, Myrtle Beach Safari.

In a letter to the U.S. Department of Agriculture, PETA accused the park of “apparent violations of the Animal Welfare Act.”

The animal rights organization believed that the rapper’s photo op with the elephant was “exceptionally dangerous.” They also were concerned that the tiger cubs might contract the coronavirus.

The letter noted the following: “These dangerous stunts put the animals and Lil Pump at risk of serious injury,” adding the incident was in “apparent violation” of a rule which requires that “during public exhibition, any animal must be handled so there is minimal risk of harm to the animal and to the public, with sufficient distance and/or barriers between the animal and the general viewing public so as to assure the safety of animals and the public.”

“Not only is coming into direct physical contact with an elephant’s powerful trunk extremely risky, but Lil Pump’s fall could have spooked Bubbles and led to her stepping on Lil Pump as he landed, or she could have bolted through the crowd and injured any number of bystanders.”

“In May, the USDA issued a notice advising that all hands-on encounters with nondomestic cats should be suspended until it can be assured that members of the public do not pose any risk of SARS-CoV-2 infection to big cats. Another case of an infected tiger emerged out of Tennessee just last week, demonstrating that the risk to big-cat health is indeed still a serious concern.”

Doc Antle’s Zoo in a wildlife park has been under a microscope for awhile. The “Tiger King” star, who the zoo is named after, was indicted on 15 charges: one felony count of wildlife trafficking, one felony count of conspiracy to traffic wildlife, four misdemeanor counts of conspiracy to violate the Endangered Species Act, and nine misdemeanor counts of animal cruelty.

No word from Lil Pump about this case. He better watch out; PETA is no joke.
