Fivio Foreign Finally Sprung From Jail, Debuts Epic Movie Theater Pendant

Fivio Foreign is back outside after spending over half the year locked up over a New Year’s Day gun threat case in New Jersey.

The Brooklyn drill rapper got out on August 1 after a Bergen County judge gave him credit for the 196 days he already sat in jail and hit him with three years’ probation.

That means no new run-ins with cops, clean drug tests, and staying out of trouble if he wants to remain free.

The whole situation kicked off when Fivio allegedly pulled a s####### a woman during a heated parking lot argument on January 1 in Edgewater, New Jersey.

He pointed a gun at a woman who had asked him for help jumpstarting her car and told her, “If I see you parked in front of this building again, there is going to be a f###### problem.”

Witnesses at the scene identified Fivio Foreign and called 911.

Surveillance footage from the apartment complex reportedly backed up the woman’s version of events. Officers arrested him on January 18, but no firearm was recovered.

He ended up getting booked on five charges, including aggravated assault and illegal gun possession.

Fivio copped a plea deal for third-degree terroristic threats — which helped him dodge the more serious gun and assault charges.

Jeezy Painting Raises Thousands For Arts & Education

Jeezy brought Hip-Hop and fine art together in Atlanta for a private auction that raised funds for youth programs and honored the 20th anniversary of his breakout album.

The Grammy-nominated rapper partnered with acclaimed visual artist Dr. Fahamu Pècou on July 29 to debut “School of Hard Knocks,” a custom portrait unveiled at the Johnson Lowe Gallery.

The painting, which sold to Jeezy’s longtime mentor Jerry Thomas for an undisclosed amount, will benefit both Jeezy’s Street Dreamz Foundation and the African Diaspora Art Museum of Atlanta.

The event celebrated Jeezy’s 2005 debut album Let’s Get It: Thug Motivation 101 and merged themes of resilience, transformation and education.

The artwork depicts Jeezy in all white, posed like a professor holding a fictional book titled They We Didn’t Realize We Were Seeds.

The piece also includes a transparent backpack filled with cowrie shells and a crystallized Snowman emblem—symbols that reimagine surveillance tools as markers of empowerment.

“This painting is not just a tribute to Jeezy’s 20-year legacy,” said Dr. Pècou. “It is an offering to all the thinkers, hustlers, and visionaries molded in fire. For those of us who come through the margins, the school of hard knocks isn’t metaphor—it’s alma mater. And from its halls, we emerge not broken, but forged—brilliant, unbowed, and blooming.”

Radio host Frank Ski served as the night’s auctioneer, helping secure the sale that will now support two community-focused organizations. Jeezy’s Street Dreamz Foundation, a 501(c)(3), works to uplift at-risk youth with programs in financial literacy, entrepreneurship, health and tech.

Meanwhile, Dr. Pècou’s museum continues to highlight the artistic legacy of the African diaspora in Atlanta.

The Johnson Lowe Gallery, known for showcasing internationally respected artists, hosted the invitation-only event, which blended Hip-Hop’s cultural weight with the reflective power of visual art.

Sha’Carri Richardson’s Boyfriend Calls Her “Great Person” Following Airport Fight

Sha’Carri Richardson and Christian Coleman had themselves a messy moment at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport that ended with her in cuffs, but Coleman says don’t let that fool you—she’s still solid.

Richardson was busted on July 27 after a heated exchange with Coleman allegedly turned physical. Cops say it went down at a TSA checkpoint where she reportedly snatched his backpack, blocked his path, shoved him into a pillar and tossed a pair of headphones at him. Surveillance cameras caught the whole thing.

She got booked into the South Correctional Entity jail in Des Moines, Washington, that Sunday night and was released Monday afternoon, according to reports.

Cops say Coleman didn’t want to press charges and told them he didn’t wanna be seen as a victim either.

Now Coleman’s speaking up and clearing the air during an interview with CITIUS MAG.

“I feel like it was just a sucky situation all around. I don’t feel as if she should’ve been arrested. People have discussions and emotions. She has things that she needs to work on for herself, of course. So do I, so do you. Everybody. I’m in the business of extending grace and mercy and love, I don’t try to look at obstacles, either,” Coleman said.

He wasn’t feeling the way the story got spun.

“I hate the narrative too, it’s so negative. Like I said…even talking to the cop, he was like, ‘There’s nothing I can do.’ I understood, but like I said, it was just a sucky situation. She’s a human being, and a great person,” Coleman added.

Coleman also gave her props, calling her the best female athlete in the world and saying she’s dealing with stuff nobody else can really get.

“We’re two dominant personalities and she’s the best female athlete in the world,” he said. “I see it every day. She just has a lot of things going on. A lot of emotions and forces going on inside of her that not only I can’t understand, but nobody can. She’s one of one. And I’m one of one too…she’s gon’ be just fine, I’m gon’ be good too. So it is what it is.”

Diddy Denied Bail, Must Stay In Jail Until Sentencing

Diddy will remain behind bars until sentencing after a federal judge in Manhattan denied his request for bail, citing his history of violence and potential to flee.

U.S. District Judge Arun Subramanian ruled that Combs failed to meet the strict legal threshold required for pre-sentencing release. The court found no “clear and convincing evidence” that he is neither a danger to the public nor a flight risk.

Diddy, who is awaiting sentencing on charges tied to prostitution-related crimes, had asked the court to consider exceptional circumstances.

His legal team presented a $50 million bail package secured by his Miami property and co-signed by family members, including his mother Janice Combs. Some relatives even surrendered their passports.

The defense also offered to limit his travel to Florida, New York and New Jersey for legal appointments and said he would comply with mental health and substance abuse treatment.

Despite those offers, the court sided with prosecutors who argued that Diddy’s wealth, influence and past violent conduct made him a serious risk.

The judge emphasized that no amount of money or monitoring could ensure he wouldn’t interfere with witnesses or pose a threat to others.

“Increasing the amount of the bond or devising additional conditions doesn’t change the calculus given the circumstances and heavy burden of proof that Combs bears.,” the judge wrote in the ruling, rejecting the defense’s proposed conditions, including house arrest and electronic monitoring.

Diddy’s lawyers tried to point to deteriorating conditions at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn, where he is currently held. They described the facility as unsafe, poorly staffed, and serving maggot-infested food.

But the court dismissed those claims as insufficient to justify release.

“The public outcry concerning these conditions has come from all corners. But as Combs acknowledges, MDC staff has been able to keep him safe and attend to his needs, even during an incident of threatened violence from an inmate,” the judge said, referencing a prior case where release was granted only due to a defendant’s old age and severe health issues.

The court made no ruling on the underlying evidence, reserving that for sentencing, which is scheduled for October 3, 2025. Until then, Diddy will remain in custody.

Tsu Surf Says Release Is Near, But Battle Rap Return Unlikely

Tsu Surf declared he’s nearly out of prison and hinted he might not return to battle rap, sharing a raw update that mixed hope with hesitation.

“IM GETTING SO CLOSE I CAN TASTE THE DOOR,” the Newark rapper and battle rap icon wrote in a message from behind bars, signaling that his release is approaching fast.

But while freedom is on the horizon, his future in the ring that made him a staple in the Hip-Hop world remains uncertain.

“WHO GOING TO BE MY FIRST BATTLE HOME? HONESTLY, I GOTTA SEE IF MY HEART IS STILL THERE, THE ENERGY DOESN’T FEEL THE SAME. IF I DON’T FEEL LIKE ITS ANYBODY WORTHY OF SHARING THE STAGE WHEN I TOUCH, I’LL PASS,” he admitted.

Tsu Surf is currently serving a five-year federal sentence after pleading guilty in 2023 to conspiracy and unlawful firearm possession as a convicted felon.

Surf also reflected on the mental toll of incarceration, describing how it forced him into a deeper connection with his faith.

“He sat me down before I completely self-destructed… before I lost everything,” he wrote, speaking about his relationship with God.

He said he once felt “bitter” about his situation but now views it as a blessing in disguise.

“IF I HAD 100 MORE LETTERS TO WRITE, I WOULD PROBABLY USE THESE TWO WORDS 100 TIMES…. GRATITUDE. HUMILITY,” he wrote. “Stop walkin around like everyday not a blessing… if it feel good, say thank you. If it hurt, learn from it.”

Tsu Surf Gets Real About Prison Life

Surf didn’t shy away from the harsh realities of prison life either. He described missing basic comforts like going for a drive and being powerless to help his daughter when she needed him.

“I can’t pull up to McDonald’s… can’t even open this cell door to get to my daughter,” he shared.

Despite the uncertainty around battle rap, Surf didn’t completely shut the door on a comeback.

“I’LL PASS,” he said, unless the right opponent or offer comes along. Still, Surf admitted he wouldn’t turn down $100K for a battle.

During a short Q&A, he listed artists he hopes to work with once he’s out, including Latto, Rylo Rodriguez, Fridayy, Ella Mai, Hunxho, EST Gee and Coco Jones. He credited Rylo’s music with helping him get through his sentence.

As for when he’ll walk free? “WHEN DO I GET HOME? SOON AS HELL, BUT NOT SOON ENOUGH!” he wrote.

He ended his message with a reminder to stay grounded through life’s ups and downs: “Don’t trip over your blessons (yeah I spelled it like that for a reason).”

Boosie Takes Plea On Fed Gun Charges After Legal Rollercoaster In San Diego

Boosie Badazz is throwing in the towel on his long-running federal gun case after a back-and-forth with the courts that started in San Diego last year.

The Baton Rouge rapper revealed this week that he took a plea deal with the feds.

“JUST ACCEPTED A PLEA FROM THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT ON MY GUN CASE. I THOUGHT THIS CASE WAS OVER N I WAS GOING TO GET ON WITH MY LIFE BUT ‘GOD DONT MAKE MISTAKES’ N IM TIRED OF FIGHTING,” Boosie revealed on Monday (August 4).

This all started back in May 2023 when San Diego cops spotted Boosie flashing a gun in his waistband during an Instagram livestream.

That clip led to a traffic stop, and cops ended up finding two loaded handguns in his car. His bodyguard was also pulled over but didn’t catch any charges.

At first, state prosecutors charged him with being a felon in possession of a firearm, but those charges got tossed. Then the feds stepped in and hit Boosie with the same gun charges on a federal level.

Things looked up for Boosie in July 2024 when a federal judge dismissed the case, saying the law was unconstitutional for non-violent offenders, citing the Supreme Court’s Bruen ruling and a Ninth Circuit decision.

But the feds weren’t done.

Less than two weeks later, they came back swinging with a fresh indictment, stacking two charges—being a felon with a gun that crossed state lines and having a firearm while using drugs.

That second one could’ve landed him up to 10 years if convicted, so Boosie decided to tap out.

“TALKED TO MY FAMILY N THIS IS THE RIGHT DECISION 💯 TO ALL MY FANS ACROSS THE WORLD SAY A PRAYER FOR YA BOY N GO GET THE NEW ALBUM,” Boosie explained.

Salt-N-Pepa Blast UMG Amid Legal Battle: “We Had To Sue Them”

Salt-N-Pepa called out Universal Music Group on national television Monday (August 4), accusing the label of blocking their classic hits like “Push It” from streaming platforms and refusing to return ownership of their master recordings despite legal rights that should have kicked in after 35 years.

The Hip-Hop trailblazers, Cheryl “Salt” James and Sandra “Pepa” Denton, appeared on Good Morning America to explain why they filed a federal lawsuit against UMG in May.salt

They say the label is stonewalling their efforts to reclaim their early catalog, which includes genre-defining singles like “Shoop” and “Let’s Talk About Sex.”

“We have done all the things legally to get our copyrights back, but they’re just refusing. So, we had to sue them,” said James.

Filed Tuesday (May 19) in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York, the lawsuit hinges on Section 203 of the U.S. Copyright Act. That statute gives artists the right to terminate copyright transfers and regain control of their masters after 35 years. Salt-N-Pepa submitted formal termination notices in 2022.

UMG, however, argues the duo’s early recordings were “works made for hire” and that neither James nor Denton were named in the original contracts, making them ineligible to reclaim ownership.

The company has filed a motion to dismiss the case and declined to comment on the ongoing litigation.

Salt-N-Pepa Claims UMG “Holding Our Rights Hostage”

In the meantime, Salt-N-Pepa allege UMG retaliated by pulling their early albums from Spotify, Apple Music and other major streaming services between May and July 2024, cutting off both revenue and exposure.

“We didn’t have that leverage,” Denton said, adding, “We didn’t have that knowledge. We didn’t have that control in the ’80s. And so to be held to a contract from 1985 and 40 years later is ridiculous.”

The lawsuit seeks actual damages that could exceed $1 million, punitive damages and a permanent injunction affirming their rights to the masters.

The pair said the legal battle is bigger than just their catalog—it’s about protecting artists’ rights and ensuring creators can reclaim their work after decades of industry control.

“They’re just holding our rights hostage,” James said.

When asked how they want to be remembered, Denton didn’t hesitate: “Those girls fight. They real. They fight for their rights, for our rights, for women rights. Nothing’s fake. What you see is what you get.” James added, “I want to inspire women. Inspire and encourage women to be themselves, to go for it, you know, and to not be afraid to knock down barriers in the workplace, in the world, whatever you’re doing, just be strong.”

Donald Trump Hops Into Sydney Sweeney Controversy: “Being Woke Is For Losers!”

Donald Trump praised Sydney Sweeney and her American Eagle campaign on Truth Social after discovering the actress is a registered Republican, calling her denim ad the “HOTTEST” and claiming the jeans are “flying off the shelves.”

“Sydney Sweeney, a registered Republican, has the ‘HOTTEST’ ad out there. It’s for American Eagle, and the jeans are ‘flying off the shelves.’ Go get ‘em Sydney!” Trump wrote on Monday (August 4).

Trump used the post to contrast Sweeney’s commercial with other corporate campaigns he deemed “woke,” singling out Jaguar and singer Taylor Swift.

“On the other side of the ledger, Jaguar did a stupid, and seriously WOKE advertisement, THAT IS A TOTAL DISASTER! The CEO just resigned in disgrace, and the company is in absolute turmoil,” Trump continued. “Who wants to buy a Jaguar after looking at that disgraceful ad. Shouldn’t they have learned a lesson from Bud Lite, which went Woke and essentially destroyed, in a short campaign, the Company. The market cap destruction has been unprecedented, with BILLIONS OF DOLLARS SO FOOLISHLY LOST.”

Trump also took another jab at Swift, writing, “Or just look at Woke singer Taylor Swift. Ever since I alerted the world as to what she was by saying on TRUTH that I can’t stand her (HATE!). She was booed out of the Super Bowl and became, NO LONGER HOT. The tide has seriously turned — Being WOKE is for losers, being Republican is what you want to be. Thank you for your attention to this matter!”

Sweeney’s American Eagle ad, part of the brand’s “Back to School” campaign, stirred up mixed reactions online when it launched. The commercial features the Euphoria star in a pair of low-rise jeans with the tagline “good jeans,” a play on words that some critics called “tone-deaf” and “objectifying.” Others defended the campaign, saying it was a lighthearted nod to early 2000s fashion and body positivity.

American Eagle reports a noticeable uptick in denim sales following the ad’s release.

Summer Walker Shuts Down Body Shamers As BBL Criticism Explodes Online

The R&B singer addressed the backlash in a direct Instagram post.

“I LOVE my body with a fiery burning passion,” she began. “Please get over it. I’m not changing or reducing anything. Idk why it would bother you if we’re not intimate & you don’t even know me in real life but please block me if it offends you or keep scrolling. I don’t invest time & energy into people I don’t like, why should you?”

The criticism followed a TikTok clip where Walker wore a Dior bikini, prompting some users to accuse her of hypocrisy after she previously mocked South African influencer Wandi Ndlovu’s cosmetic surgery.

Summer Walker Roasts South African Influencer’s BBL

In June, Walker posted a photoshopped image comparing Ndlovu’s BBL results to roasted chicken thighs, which sparked outrage online.

One commenter replied, “But she was judging Wandi, oh okay.” Another added, “Trust me, your doctor has secret animosity towards you.”

Ndlovu, who has been open about her cosmetic procedures, later announced plans to reverse her BBL due to public scrutiny.

Despite the backlash, Walker insisted her post wasn’t malicious. “This generation sensitive as f###,” she said in a video, explaining the image was meant as dark humor.

To support her claim, Walker shared screenshots of a private exchange with Ndlovu, where she explained the post was meant to be funny. Ndlovu reportedly replied that she didn’t take offense.

Walker has long been transparent about her own body enhancements. In a 2021 Instagram post, she joked, “I dead can’t believe I was this skinny lmao, Thank god for ass shots.”

She also told Ari Lennox during a 2019 Apple Music interview that she got her butt done because she had a “long back” and wanted more curves, even allowing Lennox to touch her butt during the chat.

Walker has previously confirmed she received non-surgical butt injections before undergoing a more permanent BBL.

Kash Doll’s Boyfriend Za’Darius Smith Puts Tracy T On Blast In Heated Exchange

Kash Doll made headlines over the weekend after her new boyfriend, Za’Darius Smith, publicly called out her ex Tracy T for allegedly not contributing financially to their son’s school expenses, following a tense exchange sparked by wedding photos.

The drama unfolded after Smith and Kash Doll attended her best friend’s wedding, where she served as maid of honor and brought along her two children with Tracy T.

The couple turned heads at the celebration, especially when Kash Doll gifted the bride, identified as Kendra P, a reported $15,000 in cash—delivered entirely in $20 bills. A video circulating online showed the rapper tossing the bills during the reception as guests cheered.

But the celebratory moment quickly turned into online tension.

Tracy T reacted to photos of Kash Doll and Smith with his children, writing on Instagram, “Kashton don’t wanna be there.”

That prompted a sharp response from Smith, who fired back: “N#### when you ready to buy school clothes and go half on that tuition let me know!!”

Kash Doll has not addressed the back-and-forth publicly.

The Detroit rapper and Tracy T ended their relationship shortly after welcoming their second child in July 2024.

In an April interview with Keke Palmer, Kash Doll revealed that infidelity and emotional strain played a major role in the split.

“My daughter Klarity gave me the clarity I needed,” she said, explaining that she didn’t want her children growing up in an unhealthy environment.

Tracy T later acknowledged the relationship had hit a rough patch and admitted to stepping out, though he stopped short of calling it cheating.

Stephen A. Smith Fires Back At Michelle Obama Over ESPN Drama Jab

Stephen A. Smith had some words for Barack and Michelle Obama after she compared his ESPN segments to the chaos of reality television and accused the Obamas of “emotional blackmail” over past political disagreements.

The former First Lady stirred the pot on her “IMO” podcast by likening Smith’s on-air debates to the high-stakes drama of The Real Housewives of Atlanta.

“If I listen to ESPN for an hour, it’s like watching the Real Housewives of Atlanta,” Obama said. “I mean, you know, it’s the same drama, and they’re yelling at each other and they don’t get along, you know? I mean, Stephen A Smith, he’s just like every other talk show host.”

Smith, never one to shy away from a rebuttal, took issue with the comparison and addressed it directly. He argued that sports talk shows are rooted in real-time competition and analysis, not manufactured tension.

“No, reality TV is not like that,” he said. “You’re so wrong about that, about that assertion, but that’s neither here nor there.”

But Smith’s response didn’t stop at the podcast jab. He also revisited a past disagreement with Barack Obama during Michelle’s campaign push for Kamala Harris.

At the time, she suggested that voting for Donald Trump was a vote against women, a statement Smith found deeply problematic. He said the comment ignored the complexity of voter decision-making and reduced it to a single issue.

“You will never hear me utter a negative word about you, but I respectfully disagreed and still remain pretty salty about what you said about us,” Smith said, acknowledging his lingering frustration.

However, he added that Obama “sort of blackmail[ed] us emotionally into trying to compel us to vote one way or another.”

Nicki Minaj Escalates JAY-Z & Roc Nation Grudge In Explosive Dez Bryant Clash

Nicki Minaj turned her ongoing grudge against JAY-Z and Roc Nation into a full-blown online brawl with Dez Bryant after the former NFL star was referenced in a recent comment by Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones.

Jones brought up Bryant’s 2015 contract talks—negotiated by Roc Nation—as an example of why he prefers dealing directly with players instead of agents.

That mention triggered Bryant, who warned on social media, “JERRY JONES I DONT THINK ITS SMART TO MENTION MY NAME. WE CAN HAVE STORY TIME IF THATS WHAT WE ARE DOING.”

Minaj, already locked in a public battle with Roc Nation CEO Desiree Perez, jumped into the mix.

“How about we play a game? Every time you do a ‘Jerry Jones’ or ‘NFL’ story time, I’ll do a ‘story time’ of my own,” she replied to Bryant.

Bryant responded with a GIF that read, “I want to play a game.”

Minaj fired back: “All my stories will be about ROC NATION, JAYZ & THE ALLEGED RACIST DESIREE PEREZ, ROC NATION CEO. I hope you fully understand the rules. It’s your turn.”

Trying to de-escalate, Bryant posted a video saying, “Leave me out of it. I don’t want no problems, I’m a huge fan.”

Nicki Minaj & Dez Bryant Trade Accusations

But Minaj wasn’t backing off. She posted a screenshot from 2020 showing her Barbz going after Bryant over past comments about her.

“I guess you’re one of the guinea pigs they’ve been using to bully ppl for them?” she wrote.

Bryant replied, “Go enjoy your day!”

Minaj kept going, resurfacing an old report about Bryant’s 2012 arrest for allegedly assaulting his mother.

Bryant clapped back and brought up Minaj’s husband, Kenneth Petty, who is a registered sex offender.

“Say b#### I didn’t go to jail or touch my mama,” he replied. “I was defending myself.. I removed her nails from my skin .. folks know I was dealing with some curupt s### in Dallas.”

He added, “I don’t get how you can even be on the internet with your husband being a sex offender.. you said we are speaking facts weird hoe.. so come on.”

Minaj responded:

“I’m so happy you brought this up. I’ll give you 10 million in cash if you’d come & fight him since you BEAT UR OWN MOM.”

She claimed Petty was “lied on 31 years ago while both of them were 16 & there’s proof.” She also continued dragging JAY-Z and Desiree Perez.

Minaj returned with screenshots dragged up by the Barbz claiming Bryant’s father committed statutory rape.

“Is this true you p#### ass n####?!?!!!” she asked. “PROJECTION LIKE ALWAYS!!!!!!!!!! We didn’t make your dad rape your mom just like we didn’t make you beat her.”

Bryant replied: “I’ve been lied on my whole career so I’m not trying to hear all of that s###..I thought we was speaking facts.. I don’t play all of that funny s###… go get that 10 million in cash.. I’ll stomp that n#### out right in front of you.. and it’s ROC for life b####.”

Daddy Yankee Nukes El Cartel Records Over Wife’s Alleged Data Destruction Conspiracy

Daddy Yankee had to shut down his label El Cartel Records after accusing his ex-wife Mireddys González and her sister of trying to yank $100 million and delete years of receipts from his empire.

According to a wild federal lawsuit filed in Puerto Rico, the reggaetón legend had no choice but to shut down his label after discovering what he says was a full-on betrayal by his longtime partner and her sibling, Ayeicha González.

The drama kicked off when Yankee filed for divorce in December 2024 and asked for business records. Instead of handing them over, Mireddys allegedly flipped the script and tried to move $100M from company accounts into her own pockets.

She and Ayeicha didn’t stop there.

The suit says they locked Yankee out of vital emails and wiped out four years of financial and business history—including files tied to his farewell tour La Última Vuelta and a huge music catalog deal.

Forensics backed it up. Deleted emails. Missing docs. Gone.

Mireddys later admitted under oath that she deleted emails, saying through her lawyer it was about “protecting” her privacy, not hiding evidence.

Yankee founded El Cartel Records back in 2003 to run his music biz. He had put Mireddys in charge and let her appoint Ayeicha to key roles. That trust? Completely wrecked.

The lawsuit says he was iced out of his own financials for over a year before taking things to court. By December 26, 2024, a judge gave him full control over the companies. But by then, the damage was done.

He officially axed El Cartel Records on April 23, 2025, saying the data destruction made it impossible to run the business, respond to audits or track money moves.

He’s now suing for millions, claiming violations of federal laws and demanding the return of any deleted materials still in their hands.

Their nearly 30-year marriage ended in early 2025, and with it, a $200 million empire built on music, trust and now, lawsuits.

Diddy Says He’s Being Served Maggot-Infested Food In Hellhole Jail

Diddy is demanding his release from federal custody, claiming brutal living conditions and government overreach have turned his time at Brooklyn’s Metropolitan Detention Center into a nightmare.

In a letter filed Sunday (August 3), Diddy’s legal team urged Judge Arun Subramanian to grant bail ahead of his October 3 sentencing.

The Hip-Hop mogul was acquitted last month of sex trafficking and racketeering conspiracy charges, but remains detained on lesser counts under the Mann Act, which criminalizes transporting individuals across state lines for unlawful sexual activity.

His attorneys argue the government is punishing him more harshly than others with similar charges, despite a jury clearing him of the most serious allegations.

“Hellbent on punishing him for being a user of prostitution services in a more draconian manner than anyone in U.S. history, the government continues to target him unfairly, just as it has done from the inception of this provably misplaced investigation,” the letter states. “Despite the jury’s verdict, it continues to make factual statements that are plainly at odds with what twelve New Yorkers found and to try to keep Combs incarcerated even though the jury rejected the serious charges that led to his pre-trial detention in the first place.”

The filing also paints a grim picture of life inside MDC, citing frequent lockdowns, poor medical treatment and unsanitary food.

“MDC routinely serves food that is expired and infested with maggots…lockdowns also remain common, despite the government’s claims,” the letter reads.

Diddy’s lawyers say the facility’s conditions have deteriorated further due to federal budget cuts. They reference a case where 25 inmates and a former corrections officer were charged in connection with smuggling and violent incidents at the jail.

“Living conditions at MDC remain inhumane, and the situation has worsened due to federal budget cuts,” the letter continues.

They also argue that Diddy has not posed any threat while in custody, noting his clean behavioral record during 11 months of incarceration.

“Violent people are violent in jail as well. Sean Combs has been free of violence of every sort,” the letter adds.

The defense emphasized that Combs, a father of seven, remains committed to his family and has actively participated in his legal defense.

The government has yet to respond publicly.

“Myself and some of my good friends who do the Raid Trains, we got together and said, ‘Let’s do a Raid Train on August 4,’ and here we are,” he said. “I like the idea of doing this because it gives me a chance to say thank you to all the DJs who adopted my techniques and all the producers that adopted the techniques and where it’s going.

“It’s wonderful, and the great people at Twitch give me my freedom to play my deep collection. I can play stuff in the ’60s all the way up to now and nobody says anything.”

Widely regarded as one of the founding fathers of Hip-Hop, Grandmaster Flash revolutionized DJing in the 1970s by developing the Quick Mix Theory—an innovative method of extending breakbeats using two turntables. His groundbreaking work laid the foundation for modern Hip-Hop production and performance. In 2007, he and the Furious Five became the first Hip-Hop group inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

“For me, it’s 52 years, you know?” he said. “As far as technology is concerned, it’s absolutely wonderful. I get to play in the sandbox all over again with modern technology because I’m a geek. I’ve always loved gadgets.

The “Back2Back Raid Train” kicks off Monday (August 4) at 4 a.m. ET and runs until midnight on Grandmaster Flash’s Twitch channel.

Diddy’s Ex Gina Huynh AKA “Victim 3” Tells Judge He’s “Changed Man”

Gina Huynh, the ex-girlfriend of Diddy, told a federal judge that the embattled Hip-Hop mogul is no longer the man he once was and pleaded for his release on a $50 million bond secured by his Miami estate.

In a letter submitted to the U.S. District Court, Huynh—identified in court documents as “Victim 3″—described Diddy as a devoted father and businessman, writing, “From that experience I have seen him primarily as a father, a family man and a businessman, roles that he has always striven to uphold.”

Diddy is currently awaiting sentencing in a high-profile case involving federal charges under the Mann Act.

His legal team is pushing for bail ahead of his October 3 court date, offering a substantial bond and proposing house arrest and travel restrictions. Prosecutors, however, remain firmly opposed, citing the severity of the charges and the risk of flight.

Huynh acknowledged the gravity of the allegations but urged the court to weigh Diddy’s family responsibilities.

“Our relationship, like many, was not always perfect, we experienced ups and downs, and mistakes were made,” she wrote. “But he was willing to acknowledge his mistakes and make better decisions in the future.”

She claimed that by the end of their relationship, Diddy had shifted his demeanor.

“By the time our relationship ended, he embodied an energy of love, patience and gentleness that was markedly different from his past behavior.”

Huynh, who has previously accused Diddy of violent abuse—including a miscarriage she says resulted from one of his attacks—told the court she no longer views him as dangerous.

“I do not view Mr. Combs as a danger to me or to the community. This is his first criminal case. Throughout the investigation and proceedings he has been cooperative, respectful and compliant.”

She added that his release could help support his children and aid in the healing process.

“Allowing him to be at home will also support the healing process for all involved,” she said. “I respectfully ask that you consider these factors when deciding his eligibility for release.”

The judge has not yet ruled on Diddy’s renewed bail request. A decision is expected before his scheduled sentencing on October 3.

JAY-Z Rides Bike—Internet Can’t Believe It

Jay-Z riding solo on a bike through the Hamptons had the internet doing double takes and cracking jokes after a fan caught the whole thing on camera.

The clip shows Jay-Z pedaling down a quiet street with zero security in sight, which had folks online stunned that the richest guy in the history of Hip-Hop was out here movin’ like a regular dude.

No entourage, no black SUVs—just Hov, a bike and some sunshine as he pedaled through the leafy street, which had no sidewalks.

The video went viral after someone posted it online and social media ran wild with reactions. Some people were amused, others confused and a few were convinced there had to be security lurking nearby.

One person chimed in saying, “Welp of course they human beings they got life too Jay-Z can enjoy a bike ride in New York ain’t nothing wrong with that to be honest if people don’t harass him or tryna get pics w him.”

Another user added, “Trust me security is around somewhere.”

This whole thing went viral mostly because it’s rare to see someone like Jay-Z, who is worth over $2.5 billion, out and about without any obvious protection.

Typically, A-listers like him are flanked by bodyguards or rolling deep with a team. But here, he looked like any other guy enjoying a chill ride in the Hamptons, where he has a massive mansion.

He and Beyoncé have owned a gigantic spot in East Hampton since 2017. The place is called the “Pond House” and it’s no joke—12,000 square feet, seven beds, seven and a half baths and it sits on two acres right next to a 17-acre nature preserve.

Even billionaires need a little peace and quiet now and then and it looks like Jay found his moment to clear his head and get some cardio in.

Dallas Cowboy Drama Has Jerry Jones Evoking JAY-Z, Dez Bryant & Roc Nation

Jerry Jones Ignites Micah Parsons Trade Drama by Name-Dropping Jay-Z and Dez Bryant

WTHELLY? Jerry Jones and the Dallas Cowboys are back in the NFL spotlight for all the wrong reasons. This year’s training camp circus features a tense contract standoff with star linebacker Micah Parsons. You may have seen, he’s already trying to go to rival Eagles. He has submitted a formal trade request, but there is a wild twist that includes JAY-Z. The chatter includes Roc Nation Sports and former Cowboys wideout Dez Bryant. Sheeeeeeesh!

Jerry Jones is beyond old-school. Dude was photographed in 1957 among a crowd of white students trying to keep black students from integrating at an Arkansas high school. He’s that kind of old school. Apparently, he has a certain “hands-on negotiating style,” and Parsons is not with it. He wants agent David Mulugheta to rep him and does not want to talk directly to Jerry. The Cowboys owner has attempted to bypass Mulugheta entirely. He wants to force Parsons into direct talks. Sounds very much like a slave owner.

But, Jerry Jones is not a slave owner. But he gives those vibes and Black people were not slaves – they were enslaved. Instead of being accountable, he opted to shift blame, naming a 2015 situation involving Jay-Z and Dez Bryant.

“Because when we have a problem with the player, the agent is nowhere to be found,” Jones told reporters. “JAY-Z said that Dez would make all meetings. JAY-Z and I negotiated the contract, spent hours. He said, ‘Anybody in my organization is on time.’ He said, ‘My office used to be on the street corner, and I’ve always been early. So, they will be on time.’ And what did I say? I said, ‘I’m going to call you [when I have a problem].’ He quit taking my call.”

HUH?!

A Dallas legend, Dez Bryant, fired back like a Jalen Hurts spiral! He basically said he can open the book of life on Jerry if he wants to keep mentioning his name. He’s got plenty of untold stories and he’s kept quiet. “Hey, Dez…”

Roc Nation Sports followed up and skewered Jerry in the process. I get the impression that they do not like him.

“In 2015, at the 21 Club, on a napkin, Jerry Jones, Juan Perez, Shawn ‘JAY-Z’ Carter and Stephen Jones negotiated a five-year, $70 million deal, which included a $45 million guarantee and a $20 million signing bonus for Dez Bryant,” Roc Nation stated. “The claim that Mr. Carter or Roc Nation representatives did not return a call from Jerry Jones is not only a false statement, but it’s also a comical one.”

Now, the Cowboys have ruffled the feathers of three beasts: Parsons, JAY-Z and the ever-boisterous Dez Bryant. All this offseason drama as we walk into the new season. Per usual: Jerry is the center of it all. Dallas and peace are as common as a Super Bowl parade.

Donald Trump Unloads On “Racist Sleazebag” Charlamagne Tha God

Donald Trump didn’t hold back when Charlamagne Tha God showed up on Lara Trump‘s Fox News show and trashed his presidency—he jumped on Truth Social and went scorched earth.

The ex-president fired off a 2:30 A.M. post on Sunday (August 3), calling Charlamagne a “racist sleazebag,” a “Low IQ individual,” and a “dope.”

Trump went off, writing, “Why is he allowed to use the word ‘GOD’ when describing himself? Can anyone imagine the uproar there would be if I used that nickname?”

And he didn’t stop there. Trump blasted, “This dope, Charlamagne, would vote for Sleepy Joe or Kamala?” Then added, “He has no idea what words are coming out of his mouth, and knows nothing about me or what I have done.”

So what set Trump off?

Charlamagne showed up on Lara’s show the night before and ripped Trump’s time in office. He said, “the least of us are still being impacted the worst” and “people are hurting.”

But there was more.

Charlamagne also said that Trump’s refusal to drop the Epstein files might push old-school conservatives to take back the GOP. He called it a possible “political coup” against MAGA leadership.

And when asked who he’d vote for, Charlamagne leaned toward Kamala Harris over Trump. That combo of criticism—bashing his record, questioning his base’s loyalty, and suggesting he’d pick Kamala—clearly hit a nerve and was enough to trigger Trump’s late-night post.

Trump watches a ton of TV—according to reports, sometimes as much as eight hours a day—and he probably caught every second of that interview.

And like clockwork, he jumped online to fire shots before the sun came up.
