Lil Nas X Praised By Church Of Satan For “Fantastic” “J Christ” Video

Lil Nas X faced some hefty backlash from Christians over his controversial new single “J Christ,” but he found some new fans in the Church of Satan. 

The video, released last Friday (January 12) is full of religious iconography and features multiple biblical references. Lil Nas X impersonates various biblical characters – including Jesus, Noah, and Moses. 

However, the visuals impressed the Church of Satan. While many religious social media users complained about the imagery and accused him of blasphemy, the organization’s leader loved it.  

Church of Satan magister David Harris praised the “J Christ” visuals, telling TMZ the video is “fantastic.” He also compared Lil Nas X bragging about his ability to go viral to the Church of Satan’s belief in “lesser magic.” Harris praised the controversial rapper for making money from his ability to make people bend to his will, essentially the principle of “lesser magic.” 

According to the magister, Lil Nas X should use his talents to make a full-length movie.  

Meanwhile, Lil Nas X responded to the backlash on X, denying claims he was a Satanist. 

“I’ve crossed satan up and broke his ankles, snapped his neck and literally killed him,” he wrote last week. “Made a song referencing the return of jesus, and somehow yall still think im a satanist. I can not win lmaooo.” 

Lil Nas X was criticized by multiple celebrities, including Christian rapper Lecrae, boxer Ryan Garcia and fellow rapper Boosie Badazz.  

After unveiling the “J Christ” cover art on Monday, January 8, Lil Nas X defended his decision.  

“The crazy thing is nowhere in the picture is a mockery of jesus,” he wrote on X. “Jesus’s image is used throughout history in people’s art all over the world. I’m not making fun of s###. yall just gotta stop trying to gatekeep a religion that was here before any of us were even born. s###.”

Rick Ross is at the centre of an escalating war of words between his current and ex-partner, with the latter threatening to put hands on the former. 

The drama unfolded after Tia Kemp, the mother of Rozay’s son, slammed his new girlfriend’s cooking skills. Cristina Mackey clapped back in an Instagram Live chat, questioning why a “40-something” year-old woman would be in her business and stalking her social media accounts.

Kemp took to Instagram Sunday to blast her ex and his new lover. In a lengthy rant, Kemp, who said she’s writing a tell-all memoir about her time with Ross, threatened to expose him unless paid him to keep quiet about an alleged medical condition. 

“You got a hoe over there talking about a 40 some year old. B####, you finna be 49 or 48 in a few days. Dusty.” 

It appears Kemp was doing a little snooping last time she was at Rozay’s “Promise land” mansion as she said she found his diabetes medicine in the back of the refrigerator. Kemp also claimed she discovered Rick Ross has an upcoming appointment with a urologist.  

“I want to know what’s going on with you? Why you going to see a urologist?” she questioned. “Is you getting ding dings extensions?” 

She also threatened to ” send TMZ to his doctor,” unless Ross paid her off. “Lil’ Will, tell your daddy send me a check,” Kemp said, referring to her son with Rick Ross. “I want to see what his dick dick getting done to it since he forced me to ride it.” 

Kemp also addressed Ross’ mother before turning to Cristina Mackey.  

“She can’t be talking about this 40 something year-old hoe,” she added. “I’ll go over there and slap that hoe on her mouth. Tell her come to the front gate.” 

Eminem Spurs Detroit Lions To Victory In First Playoff Win In 32 Years

Eminem is celebrating tonight after his beloved Detroit Lions soared to victory in Sunday’s Wild Card playoff game against the Rams. 

The Detroit legend sat alongside D-12 members Bizarre and Mr. Porter, hyped the team from the stands as his hit song “Lose Yourself” blasted from the speakers. The trios’ efforts were not in vain as the Lions went on to beat the Rams 25-23, their first playoff win in 32 years.  

On Saturday (January 13), Eminem asked former Lions and current Los Angeles Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford to lose the game, adding that it was his New Years resolution. He made his plea in a video posted on NBC’s Sunday Night Football account. 

“Stafford, what’d I say? You owe me this favor, bro,” Eminem said, adding “I was there for you when you won it. I was there for you. I was right there, I rapped for you Stafford. Bro, I rapped for you! Can you just let us have this one? Just this one.” 

Eminem was referring to Staford’s first championship victory with the Rams at Super Bowl LVI over the Cincinnati Bengals. Eminem was one of the halftime show performers at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles in February 2022 alongside Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, 50 Cent, Kendrick Lamar and Mary J. Blige.  

While Stafford tried hard not to fulfill Eminem’s request, throwing for 367 yards and scoring two touchdowns with no interception. 

Hall of Famers and former Detroit Lions stars Barry Bonds and Calvin Johnson Jr. caught up with Eminem and his fellow Detroit rapper on the field after the game.  

Skilla Baby Says Woman Is On “Some Charleston White Ish” After Alleged $20K Interview Fee

Skilla Baby was recently caught up in a hostile, viral back-and-forth with a content creator on Instagram Live after the woman attempted to expose him for an exorbitant booking fee.

According to the woman who runs the YouTube account WooladyyTV, Skilla and his manager charged her six-figure sums multiple times while trying to schedule the Detroit rapper for an appearance on her podcast. In a post on Twitter (X), she detailed the alleged encounter, claiming she was given the runaround through the entire process by Skilla’s manager.

“Skillababy and his manager charged me 12k for him to come than I paid him 10k cash the next day he told me skillababy can’t come and told me reschedule,I asked for a refund he said no, next day I paid for flight, hotel& they car to get to me in total 20k,” she wrote in the tweet.

In a follow-up tweet, she doubled down on her remarks and shared a portion of the livestream she and Skilla hopped on that ended up turning into a shouting match. At one point, Skilla outright accuses the woman of being on some “Charleston White s##t” after the woman appears to tell him “eat my p###y” and claimed he requested a sexual favor from her after she sent the initial payment.

In a follow-up tweet, the woman also claimed that Skilla had promised to refund $5,000 of her money but didn’t do so until their exchange started going viral on social media.

Taylor Swift somehow turned Fast Life Yungstaz’s (F.Y.L.)’s 2009 cult favorite hit, “Swag Sufin,” into a polarizing topic over the weekend.

On Saturday (January 13), Swift and Travis Kelce’s mother Donna went viral after the NFL player shared a video clip of the pair dancing to F.Y.L.’s classic record along with a massive crowd. How Swift is aware of the “Swag Surfin'” dance yet the individual running the NFL social media account is completely culturally oblivious to the pop phenomenon is beyond me–but it clearly didn’t get past fans or viewers.

“LMAOOOOO TAYLOR SWAG SURF GOT ME CRYIN,” one Twitter (X) user wrote in a tweet reposting the clip, to which another replied. “I’m irritated because I feel like Travis also probably tried to show her at home.”

The overzealously traditional MAGA (Make America Great Again) train good ole boys’ were also ticked off by the images of Swift shamelessly enjoying a product of Black culture in the middle of a bureaucratically controlled sports broadcast.

“Apparently the MAGA cult is very triggered that Taylor Swift was having fun at a football game last night so I’ll post the clip again for them,” another user remarked.

Others appeared threatened by Swift’s surfin’ and took it as a blatant challenge for a personal dance-off.

“Wait …Taylor Swift tryna have a Swag Surf off with me???!!!! [Crying laughing face emojis],” a user wrote in another tweet.

Overall, the feedback on T-Swift’s “Swag Surfin'” really just turned into a running joke on social media, with people rebranding her moves as “white water rafting” and even eviscerating Kelce for the simple fact he cuffed the singer. Even J. Cole’s manager Ibrahim caught himself rolling behind a remark a user made about the couple post #T-SwiftSwagSurfin’Gate. 

“Travis Kelce can’t catch s### since he been palming them little ass Taylor Swift cheeks,” the user wrote.

Statik Selektah has revealed he just regained consciousness days following receiving a last-minute emergency surgery. On Sunday (January 14), the lauded East Coast producer shared a hospital bed selfie along with a harrowing message to his personal Instagram account. In the lengthy caption of the post, Selektah describes regaining the ability to breathe on his own within the last 48 hours following an emergency surgery.

Beyoncé reunited with Destiny’s Child for a one-off performance. According to Page Six, the megastar joined forces with her former bandmates—Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams—at a private 50th birthday party held for Rowland’s husband, Tim Weatherspoon, in Los Angeles last week. A source told the outlet that Beyoncé, Rowland and Williams sang happy birthday to Weatherspoon and that the rendition was the “highlight” of the bash.

In addition, Rowland and Weatherspoon’s sons helped “blow out their father’s candles” in a cute moment. The couple shares Titan, 9, and Noah, 3. Other stars to attend the event included The Weeknd, Kris Jenner and Beyoncé’s husband, JAY-Z.

The trio performed as Destiny’s Child from 1997 to 2005. But while Beyoncé left the group to pursue a solo career, they have remained close friends and also reunited for a performance during the Formation hitmaker’s headline gig at Coachella in 2018.

Gather ’round, everybody! Dame Dash and Fat Joe are two titans of the game and they are going at it. Recently, Fat Joe called Dame “delusional,” but let’s break it down to the very last compound.

First off, Fat Joe held nothing back when talking about Dame Dash. He said, “Yo, Dame, you’re delusional, man.” He basically said Dame hasn’t done anything major since those beloved Roc-A-Fella Records glory days. Apparently, there was some mention of how Dame talks about making the Rachel Roy company but can’t keep up with child support. That’s a low blow. But on the flip side, he maintained that Dame should just “make another Hov” since he’s stated that Jigga would not be who he is without him. I think this is true in a way, since it was Dame, Biggs AND Jay-Z that made that movement. But, I digress.

Dame really did manage to give Fat Joe that ether to a degree. Dame knows business. I think these guys just have two very different points of view on matters. Also, Fat Joe has been managed by Jay-Z for quite some time so his allegiance is with the man that helps make him moolah!

Kim Kardashian’s SKIMS Sued For Invasion Of Privacy

Kim Kardashian’s shapewear brand SKIMS is being sued for allegedly using spyware. According to court documents obtained by The Blast, a customer has filed a lawsuit against Kardashian’s clothing company. The complainant alleges SKIMS “secretly deployed spyware” to access her device and put “trap and trace” tracking software on it.

The woman claimed to be a “consumer privacy advocate who works as a tester” and alleged SKIMS secretly accessed her device after she visited the website in 2023. She has accused the successful company of monetizing its knowledge of its visitors’ activities through tracking software, and claimed SKIMS’ alleged invasion of privacy “inflicted both an economic injury and an intangible injury.”

Although Kardashian owns the company, she isn’t being sued personally. Representatives for SKIMS have yet to respond to the allegations.

Kardashian started SKIMS in 2019 after discovering most shapewear brands only made garments in a couple of colours. When she couldn’t find shapewear to match her skin colour, she realized there was a gap in the market. Today, the company is worth $4 billion (£3 billion).

As for Yo Gotti, the streets seem clear, but I would not expect to see him taking any risks. He’s not the type to get his hands dirty in this. He knows the stakes are too high, and any wrong move could land him behind bars. I am sure of this.

This whole saga is a grim reminder of the harsh realities of life. We are moving like the mob, but this ain’t the 60s, 70s, 80s or 90s. Big Jook was a man of tremendous influence and it could be said that he should’ve been more cautious. And more protected. There are always dangers lurking in the shadows with this life. Oprah Winfrey Denies “Disturbing” Feud Rumors With Taraji P. Henson

Oprah Winfrey has shut down rumors suggesting she and Taraji P. Henson don’t get along. Amid a conversation with Gayle King for CBS Mornings at the Golden Globes last week, the media mogul admitted she finds talk of a feud between herself and The Color Purple actress to be concerning.

“It’s so disturbing to me,” she declared. “Why is my name even in this conversation? Why is my name in this conversation? ‘Cause I have just been the champion for everybody.”

Rumors started that the two women didn’t like each other after Henson complained publicly about attempts by producers to save money on the set of the new musical. The Empire actress has been open about a small initial salary offer and also alleged she and other cast members were told they would need to drive their rental cars to set.

When King asked about the topic, Winfrey explained, “I heard that Taraji was upset because she had been asked to (use) a rental car. I personally called Toby Emmerich, who was at the time the head of Warner Bros., and he said, ‘Well that means we have to do cars for everybody.’ And I said, ‘Then we do cars for everybody. And if it’s necessary, I will pay for the cars myself.’ He goes, ‘Well, we don’t want you to do that.'”

Henson also shutdown feud speculation, writing in an Instagram post, “Ms. OPRAH has been nothing less than a steady and solid beacon of light to ALL OF THE CAST of The Color Purple!!! She has provided ENCOURAGEMENT, GUIDANCE and UNWAVERING SUPPORT to us all. She told me personally to reach out to her for ANYTHING I needed, and I did!”

GloRilla Reacts To Murder Of Yo Gotti’s Brother Big Jook As Eerie IG Post Haunts His Page

The Memphis rap community was rocked on Saturday (January 13) after learning Yo Gotti’s brother Anthony “Big Jook” Mims had been killed.

A few hours after the news broke, Collective Music Group (CMG) artist GloRilla posted an Instagram photo of herself with CMG founder Yo Gotti and Mims at the Grammys, expressing her sorrow over the senseless tragedy. She wrote simply, “Get your rest” followed by a tear, heartbreak and dove emoji.

The shooting took place outside of Perignons Restaurant and Event Center on the 6300 block of Winchester Road, and two men were injured. One man—later identified as Mims—was rushed to a hospital, where he died. The other man arrived at St. Francis Hospital by private vehicle and was listed in critical condition. Police believe they were both targeted.

The shooting occurred during a repast, a meal shared by family and friends of the deceased person after a funeral service as a way to reminisce, celebrate and honor the deceased after the formal services are over. Several social media posts claim Mims was shot at least 10 times. Police have obtained surveillance footage of the shooting but have not been able to identify the suspect.

While it’s unconfirmed who’s funeral Mims was attending, both he and Gotti’s sister (who goes by Robin Chanel on Instagram) posted an “RIP” post about a man named Eric Bovan. His last Instagram post included the caption, “They don’t want to face you they wanna snake you…Stay alert 2 stay alive watch your back at all times…Put snakes on the plate and eat great.” Find it below.

Prince’s Iconic “Purple Rain” Film To Be Turned Into Stage Show

The iconic film Purple Rain starring the late Prince is set to be turned into a stage musical. On Monday (January 8), theatre producer Orin Wolf confirmed the 1984 rock musical film is being adapted for the Broadway stage. The project will be helmed by Lileana Blain-Cruz, who recently directed the acclaimed show, The Skin of Our Teeth.

“It’s been almost 40 years since Prince’s legendary film, Purple Rain, took the world by storm and we can’t think of a more fitting tribute than to honor Prince and the Purple Rain legacy with this stage adaptation of the beloved story,” L. Londell McMillan, chairman of The NorthStar Group, and Larry Mestel, founder and chief executive of Primary Wave Music, said in a joint statement.

The musical will follow the story of an up-and-coming rock musician in the Minneapolis club scene. It’s set to feature a number of classic Prince tracks, including “When Doves Cry,” “Let’s Go Crazy” and “I Would Die 4 U” as well as the titular song, “Purple Rain.”

The music icon’s film won an Academy Award for Best Original Song Score and made around $70 million at the box office when it was first released. Prince, real name Prince Rogers Nelson, died of an accidental fentanyl overdose in 2016. He was 57.
Representatives of the rightsholders to his music have confirmed they are supportive of the production.

Drake’s Music Isn’t Hip-Hop According To Mos Def: “It’s Compatible With Shopping”

Yasiin Bey—better known as Mos Def—recently sat down for an interview with The Cutting Room Floor podcast, where he opened up about his feelings toward Drake’s music. Simply put, the veteran MC doesn’t think the music he’s making is Hip-Hop at its roots. Instead, he compared it to background music at Target.

“Why you doing this to me?” he began when asked if Drake was Hip-Hop. “Drake is pop to me, in the sense like, if I was in Target in Houston and I heard a Drake song… it feels like a lot of his music is compatible with shopping. Or shopping with an edge in certain instances… It’s likable. It’s…likeable.”

From there, Mos Def began to laugh like crazy, clearly unable to hold his composure after saying what appeared to be something he didn’t even believe.

“Whoo! So many products,” he continued. “So many SKUs. Look at all these SKUs. Oh, so many products. I love this mall! Look at this place. I mean, look at this place. They have everything. Everything’s here. This is the new Drake, you hear it? It’s great. ”

Popping out of character, he then asked, “What happens when this thing collapses? What happens when the columns start buckling? Are we not in some early stage of that, at this present hour? Are we seeing the collapse of the empire? Buying and selling, where’s the message that I can use? What’s in it for your audience apart from banging the pom-poms?”

In 2018, Ice Cube predicted Drake would no longer top the charts, saying, “He had a good run. You’ve only got a three-year run in the rap game baby. SIGNS: Brazilian Island Visited By 10-Foot Tall Alien Beings?

Believe it or not, yet another report of abnormally tall aliens has surfaced following the release of a viral video claiming to capture them on camera.

Unlike the recent Miami disturbance, in which aliens are accused of causing a massive police response outside of a mall, the new alleged sighting occurred on a secluded island in Southern Brazil. Apparently, a pair of hikers noticed several extremely tall beings moving very quickly along an elevated path from a trail below. Though the Twitter (X) video posted was grainy, much like the clip circulating from the Miami incident, the individuals caught on camera did appear to have rather long torsos.

An Twitter user replied in the comments of the thread and attempted to translate the conversation the hiker were having in Portuguese at the time of the clip.

“From this angle we can see better, and another thing, if you do a comparison, he’s more or less the size of that tree over there,” one hiker said before the other replied, “Yeah, he’s big.”

Could these be the same eight to 10-foot tall creatures that allegedly recently descended on Miami. Or could either of these incidents be connected to the alleged nine foot tall alien that crashed landed in a backyard in Las Vegas last year?

Yo Gotti‘s brother, Anthony “Big Jook” Mims, was reportedly shot and killed in Memphis on Saturday afternoon (January 13). According to Fox13 Memphis, at least five police sources have confirmed that the incident took place  outside of Perignons Restaurant and Event Center on the 6300 block of Winchester Road.

Two men were injured during the shooting. One man—later identified as Mims—was rushed to a hospital, where he died. The other man arrived at St. Francis Hospital by private vehicle and was listed in critical condition. Police believe they were both targeted.

The shooting reportedly occurred during a repast, a meal shared by family and friends of the deceased person after a funeral service as a way to reminisce, celebrate and honor the deceased after the formal services are over. Several social media posts claim Mims was shot at least 10 times.

It didn’t take long for Twitter to connect the shooting to Young Dolph, who was fatally shot in Memphis more than two years ago. Yo Gotti and Young Dolph were beefing at the time of his death, and many are assuming Mims was killed in retaliation. Yo Gotti has yet to comment on the matter publicly. Police have obtained surveillance footage of the shooting but have not been able to identify the suspect.

While it’s unconfirmed who’s funeral Mims was attending, Yo Gotti’s sister—who goes by Robin Chanel on Instagram—has an “RIP Eric Bovan” post in her Stories.

Wiz Khalifa has opened up about his co-parenting relationship with his ex-wife, Amber Rose. The 36-year-old rapper talked about his experience co-parenting his 10-year-old son Sebastian with the model and TV personality on Wednesday’s (January 10) episode of the Call Her Daddy podcast.

When asked by the show’s host, Alex Cooper, how the co-parenting experience was going, Khalifa said, “I think I am in a good situation with her as a co-parent, especially through time… things have eased up and become more enjoyable. Amber is a good girl, she is a sweet person.”

The former couple split in 2014, a year after they welcomed their son. Speaking about the experience, Wiz Khalifa confirmed, “All of the irregular s##t has worked out and we have passed everything that would cause people to be dysfunctional. It is really difficult, it is more difficult than I thought it would be actually. Because I am super open about the boundaries that me and Amber have.”

Khalifa’s comments come shortly after Amber, 40, told talk show host Tamron Hall earlier this month that she and Wiz Khalifa (real name Cameron Thomaz) have become “best friends” since she moved on from her heartbreak over the split.

“I think that me and Wiz are so, best friends now, that…we’re so far past being in love that I can say that now, right?” she said. “It’s not like anything that we would circle back to or anything. We’re just friends and co-parents.”

Sebastian is Wiz’s only child, while Amber Rose has another son named Slash with her ex-boyfriend Alexander ‘AE’ Edwards.

Pete Davidson has revealed he was high on ketamine at Aretha Franklin’s funeral. During his new Netflix special, Turbo Fonzarelli, the former Saturday Night Live cast member admitted his behavior was embarrassing at the 2018 funeral of the soul singer.

“I was so high I thought it’d be a good idea to go up to her family and go, ‘Hey! I’m just here to pay my R-E-S-P-E-C-Ts,” he joked. “I’m embarrassed I was out and about like that. That’s not cool.” Davidson added that if Aretha Franklin had known what was going on, she would have said, ‘”Hey! Who are you and what the f### are you doing at my funeral?’” He noted that she will “never know” he was high, acknowledging, “Still, it’s not the point.”

Pete Davidson attended the funeral with then-fiancée Ariana Grande, who performed at the service, singing one of the Queen of Soul’s greatest hits “You Make Me Feel Like) A Natural Woman.”

The Bupkis star has been in rehab several times, including in 2017 and 2019, the years before and after he attended Franklin’s funeral. Last June, he also entered a rehab facility, reportedly to help him with borderline personality disorder and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).

Anderson .Paak has reportedly filed for divorce from his wife of roughly 13 years, Jae Lin. As reported by TMZ, the Silk Sonic singer recently filed legal documents asking for a dissolution of marriage along with joint legal and physical custody of their two children. He’s also requesting a visitation schedule. As far as assets and property, .Paak and his legal team are still working out those details.

.Paak wrote “TBD” when asked to divulge their separation date, so it’s unclear how long they’ve been on the outs. .Paak has been private about his personal life, so the divorce petition is shocking to some of his fans, who didn’t appear to know he was even married. As on person tweeted, “i just learned Anderson .Paak is married, a father of two, and a soon-to-be divorcee all in the span of like 30 seconds.” Another added simply, “To be honest I had no idea Anderson .Paak was married.”

Anderson .Paak’s career, on the other hand, has been very much front and center for the last few years. In addition to his own solo success, he found notoriety as one-half of Silk Sonic with Bruno Mars. The duo performed at the 2022 Grammy Awards in Las Vegas and took home four trophies: Best R&B Performance, Record of the Year, Best R&B Song and Song of the Year for “Leave The Door Open.”

Machine Gun Kelly has defended his razor blade guitar design following heavy criticism. Last week, MGK announced his latest collaboration with Schecter Guitars, and many social media users accused him of glorifying self-harm by designing an instrument that looks like a traditional metal razor blade. Machine Gun Kelly, real name Colson Baker, insisted that the design had been misinterpreted.

“I’ll never explain my art, because true art is conversational and always up for interpretation, but i will say, most of you constantly interpret it wrong and then blame me for your version of what you think my art is,” he stated. “Ultimately im (sic) sad at how people perceive me in general. peace.”

The 33-year-old also responded to users directly, claiming the look of the Machine Gun Kelly Razor Blade should not be taken so literally.

“You show your lack of depth by taking art at face value,” he explained to one user who accused him of creating an instrument that makes self-harm seem “cool.” “This has nothing to do with any of the subject matter you just presented.”

After another person called Kelly out for pushing “horrific themes” on his young fans, the rapper-turned-rocker replied, “And you can continue to show them how to be shallow minded and not look at art with any depth. ive done my job as an artist by creating a conversation, youve done yours as an idiot by not having the capacity to understand my message (sic).”
