“I want the world to know this b#### ass n#### Trey Songz is a b####,” Jacquees began his rant. “This n#### came in the club talking ‘bout rape. F### you talking ‘bout rape for b#### ass n####? Then you come outside the club and swing on your little brother. You’s a b####.”

According to Jacquees, the fight was over a girl, one that he wasn’t even with “You talking bout b###### that’s with these n#####?” he questioned before calling Songz a “rapist.”

Jacquees and Songz are performing out in Dubai, a city-state with strict laws regarding public behavior and violence, and the pair could end up in hot water with authorities.

While Jacquees had much to say about the alleged fight, Songz hasn’t addressed it publicly. However, he took to Instagram shortly after the revelations with a carousel of images of him smiling, laughing and having a good time while promoting his upcoming tour.

Azealia Banks Claims Jay-Z Is Root Of Nicki Minaj’s Beef With Megan Thee Stallion

Azealia Banks pointed to Jay-Z as the real source of Nicki Minaj’s issues with Megan Thee Stallion. Azealia believed Nicki wanted to be part of Roc Nation and felt slighted by Jay-Z, who signed Megan to a management deal in 2019.

“Nicki is just mad because she wants to be a Roc Nation girl,” Azealia said on Instagram. “There’s no Wayne around, there’s no Drake. She feels really vulnerable … She wants the protection of a Roc Nation. She wants the organization and the prestige.”

Azealia had some harsh words for Megan but mostly focused her attention on Nicki. According to Azealia’s assessment of the situation, Nicki was spiraling and dealing with financial trouble.

“It’s pretty clear that Nicki’s f##### up,” Azealia said. “Like she’s f###### up financially … I’ve probably made some f###### crazy looking s### on here, but I’m also not going around trying to menace other artists and call them broke and tell them to pay their rent and all that other s### like that. You can tell just by whatever keeps happening with Nicki’s butt that she’s f###### up right now. Because there’s something very f###### wrong with the butt.”

Azealia’s rant took a turn when she mentioned Nicki’s brother, who was convicted of predatory sexual assault against a child and endangering the welfare of a child.

“It looks like you f### your brother,” Azealia said. “Or your brother’s f###### on you or something. Because I swear that rush to defend your brother and all that money you put up, that was panic. You were panicking. You were panicking and scared that some sort of family secret was gonna get out … Why is there so much to do with children and sex and just like children and criminal s### around you?”

Nicki started feuding with Megan after the Roc Nation-backed rapper dropped a new single titled “HISS.” The track featured lyrics widely assumed to be referencing Nicki’s husband, who is a registered sex offender. Nicki responded by dropping a diss track titled “Big Foot.”

Listen to Azealia Banks’ remarks below.

Joe Budden Emerges As Unlikely Eminem Ally In Renewed Benzino Beef

Joe Budden unexpectedly sided with Eminem in Slim Shady’s feud with Benzino. Eminem and Budden had beef in the past, which made it surprising to see the rapper-turned-podcaster give his stamp of approval to Em’s Benzino diss track “Doomsday Pt. 2.”

Budden reacted to the latest chapter in a long-running feud on The Joe Budden Podcast. The former Slaughterhouse member criticized Benzino and praised Eminem’s diss.

“I’m with anybody dissing Benzino,” Budden said. “I am! That n#### is—y’all see him coming out the pool on some bodybuilder s### with the water glistening off his body trying to be like a seal or some s###? Old n##### shouldn’t do that. He do too much s### that old n##### shouldn’t do. And I know he tried to bag that transgender. I don’t care what that n#### say. I know he did.”

Budden acknowledged how strange it was for him to align with Eminem due to their history. Budden also admitted he had no real issues with Benzino but thought Coi Leray’s father was corny.

“Now me and Em on the same side,” Budden said. “Look what you did! Look what you did, Benzino. And I don’t even have no problem with Benzino. But Benzino do make looking 50 corny. He make 50 look bad now.”

Budden, who was signed to Shady Records as a member of Slaughterhouse, trashed Eminem multiple times on the web show Everyday Struggle. Budden once said Eminem’s “Untouchable” was one of the worst songs he ever heard. The comments irked Eminem, who discussed his issues with Budden in a 2018 interview with Sway Calloway.

Eminem’s “Doomsday Pt. 2” dropped via Lyrical Lemonade’s All Is Yellow compilation on January 26. Days later, Benzino responded with a diss track titled “Vulturius.” He quickly followed up with another diss titled “Rap Elvis” within 48 hours.

NBA YoungBoy Scares Fans By Staging Overdose Photo & Quoting Lil Peep

NBA YoungBoy raised concerns by posting a photo of himself on the floor next to pills and what appeared to be a cup of lean on Thursday (February 1). The 24-year-old rapper’s fans worried about his mental state, questioning if his Instagram post was a cry for help.

“[And] that’s why I don’t pick up my phone when it ring,” he wrote in the caption.

NBA YoungBoy’s caption was a quote from Lil Peep’s song “Star Shopping.” The Baton Rouge native shared a video of himself reciting Lil Peep’s lyrics while listening to the track on Wednesday (January 31).

Earlier this month, NBA YoungBoy opened up about his mental health in an interview with Bootleg Kev. The interview was conducted after a judge eased the restrictions of his house arrest to let him seek professional help for his mental health.

“I real-life hate this s###,” NBA YoungBoy told Bootleg Kev. “This s### take a toll on me, my wife. I wouldn’t blame it on the [music] industry. It’s all about how you go about it, and I’m not that strong. I cry a lot, literally. I’m at a point I know it’s OK.”

The Motown Records artist said he attended court-ordered therapy when he was 18 years old and recently spent time in rehab. He also lamented how music no longer felt therapeutic to him.

“I don’t even love music to that point no more where I run to the microphone,” he said.

NBA YoungBoy remains on house arrest in Utah awaiting trial in a federal gun case. His trial is scheduled to begin in July. He faces up to 10 years in prison for illegal possession of a gun as a convicted felon and possession of an unregistered firearm. The charges stem from a 2020 arrest in his hometown of Baton Rouge.

EXCLUSIVE: Run-DMC Biopic Back In The Works – DMC Reveals What Changed His Mind On Film

Run-DMC’s three-part documentary series Kings From Queens got the ball rolling on a biopic about the legendary group. Darryl “DMC” McDaniels teased two films exploring the trio’s career in an interview with AllHipHop’s Chuck Creekmur.

Creekmur noted how DMC was previously reluctant to sign off on a biopic. But DMC said he was willing to participate now when asked if he still opposed a biopic.

“No, not at all,” he told Creekmur. “Nah, a matter of fact, we talking about two biopics.”

DMC explained why he resisted making a biopic in the past, specifically around the time of N.W.A’s biopic Straight Outta Compton. The Run-DMC rapper viewed things differently years later as he believed it was best for their documentary to precede the biopic.

“I didn’t want to jump on a biopic bandwagon,” he said. “That’s why. After the documentary airs, you could tell a story. There’s so many stories in the Run-DMC biopic though. So after this airs, what segment are you going to take out of this to do the biopic? You’re going to tell D meets Run and this and that. That’s impossible to tell. So a little teaser is maybe we’ll do a biopic focusing on the Raising Hell years. That’ll be very interesting.”

Fans must wait for the biopic, but they can watch the documentary Kings From Queens: The Run-DMC Story right now on Peacock. The three-part docuseries premiered on Thursday (February 1).

AllHipHop spoke with Run-DMC’s surviving members DMC and Rev Run as they promoted their documentary’s streaming release. Kings From Queens debuted on Peacock amid the Jam Master Jay murder trial in New York.

Two men, Karl Jordan Jr. and Ronald Washington, are on trial for the 2002 murder of Run-DMC’s DJ. A third defendant, Jay Bryant, will be tried separately for his alleged role in Jam Master Jay’s death.

On Wednesday (January 31), a woman who goes by Bonnie Lashay posted a video to her Instagram account documenting the process of getting her Blueface tattoo. Unlike Rock, who recently got his mugshot tatted on her face, Lashay opted to get his face stamped on her derrière.

”Got his face tatted where he loves to put his face at,” she wrote. “I love blue sooo much A&F. Should I do his face on my face next?”

Lashay went public with her relationship with Blueface proir to getting the tattoo and had been linked to him as early as 2021. Earlier this month, Lashay treated her single “That’s My Daddy,” which features pictures of Blue’s partner’s faces, such as Rock and more with various strikethrough marks blocking them out of view.

Rick Ross Declares His Rap Hall Of Fame Career Can’t Be Questioned

Rick Ross went from being an Albany State University student to a prosperous rap star/entrepreneur. The Maybach Music Group label founder talked about his stardom in the Hip-Hop space on Dwyane Wade’s The Why podcast.

“In the rap game, Rozay’s in the Hall of Fame. That’s without a doubt,” Rick Ross told the 13-time NBA All-Star. “That’s without a doubt. And anybody questioning that, you ain’t gonna question Rozay looking me in my eyes. They’re not even serious.”

The South Florida native also said, “And that’s stamped by the streets, which means more. That means more to me than anything else. You know what I’m saying? The Grammys, the awards, and all that, that s### is most definitely cool. Accolades are always cool… The streets why Rozay’s on Star Island.”

Rick Ross rose to mainstream prominence in the mid-2000s with hits such as “Hustlin'” and “The Boss” featuring T-Pain. In addition, the 48-year-old MC released five No. 1 albums on the Billboard 200 chart.

The Recording Academy has nominated Rick Ross for nine Grammy Awards, including a Best Rap Album nod for 2012’s God Forgives, I Don’t. However, Rozay has yet to win a Grammy.

Rick Ross also played an important role in the rise of Meek Mill and Wale. All three chart-topping rappers contributed to Maybach Music Group’s Self Made compilation series.

Nicki Minaj Warns YouTube Executive Lyor Cohen: “Don’t Play With Me”

Nicki Minaj’s week-long rampage against her perceived enemies continues. After dissing Megan Thee Stallion on her poorly-received “Big Foot” record, Minaj also had words for Lyor Cohen.

Joe Budden hosted an X Spaces on Wednesday (January 31). Nicki Minaj joined the public conversation which mostly focused on her issues with Megan Thee Stallion. At one point, Minaj addressed the Global Head of Music at YouTube.

“We have screenshots of the YouTube bots. It’s crazy,” Nicki Minaj claimed. The Pink Friday 2 album creator likely referred to the countless negative comments under the YouTube audio version for “Big Foot.” She did not provide evidence to support her accusation.

Minaj also stated, “Lyor, you better not… Lyor, don’t play with me, n####. I hope you ain’t around that company no more right now.” In addition, the 41-year-old rap star also pushed unsubstantiated theories that mass YouTube, X (formerly Twitter) and TikTok accounts conspired against her.

Megan Thee Stallion’s “Hiss” Is Outcharting Nicki Minaj’s “Big Foot” On Streaming Platforms

“Big Foot” quickly fell down the daily streaming rankings. Nicki Minaj’s diss record directed at Megan The Stallion has already slipped to No. 6 on Apple Music’s Top 100: USA chart. Plus, the song dropped 46 spots to No. 69 on Spotify’s Daily Top Songs USA chart.

Meanwhile, Megan Thee Stallion’s “Hiss” remains at No. 1 on Apple Music’s Top 100: USA chart and at No. 1 on Spotify’s Daily Top Songs USA chart. The song also climbed to No. 1 on the iTunes all-genre chart. Four other versions of the record sit in the iTunes chart’s Top 6.

“Hiss” is on pace to debut in the Top 5 of next week’s Billboard Hot 100 chart. The LilJuMadeDaBeat-produced single kicked off the most recent round in the Megan Thee Stallion versus Nicki Minaj feud. The “these hoes don’t be mad at Megan, these hoes mad at Megan’s Law” line triggered Minaj’s now-six-day tirade on social media.

King Harris Takes Credit For “Standing On Business” Becoming Popular

King Harris (aka Kid Saiyan) became a trending topic in November 2023. His on-camera confrontation with his parents, T.I. and Tiny Harris, spread across the internet.

He continued, “When you ask who got the news saying it, who got ESPN saying it, who got football players saying it, who got kids saying it, who got everybody saying it, it’s me.”

Both T.I. and Tiny Harris have defended their son against concerns about his public behavior. King Harris also fired back at his critics by saying, “N####s betta mind dey business and stay out da mix.”

Jim Jones Claims He Started Rap Rockstar Fashion Trend 20 Years Ago

Jim Jones claims he caused a shift in Hip-Hop fashion by starting the Rap Rockstar trend two decades ago.

According to Capo, the style he and Julez Santa pioneered is now more prevalent than ever. He took to Instagram Wednesday (January 231) to declare his place in Hip-Hop fashion history. he also explained the symbolism behind some of his Rap Rockstar elements.

He posted a 20-year-old photo of himself wearing a leather jacket, pocket chain and belt adorned with a rhinestone-encrusted skull.

“I been on it just [in case] u don’t know why u on it now,” Jim Jones wrote. “I caused a shift in [the] rap fashion [that’s] even more prevalent now [than] it was when we started it.

Tagging his fellow Dipset rapper, Jones broke down the meaning behind the “skull & bone” Rap Rockstar lifestyle.

“The Skull represents all of our falling soldiers,” he explained. The Chain gang(wallet chain) represents all of our soldiers locked up.

“Just incase u didn’t know th true definition of wht ur representing when u got tht fly sh!t on,” he added, before urging fans, “Stay fly my friends.”

“These guys right here from Harlem made us dress different, talk different, walk different, rap different—all the way in Canada,” he told the crowd.

Latto Praises Megan Thee Stallion Amid Feud With Nicki Minaj

Latto is showing love to Megan thee Stallion, praising her for making fans proud amid her ongoing feud with Nicki Minaj.

While the Houston rapper has remained relatively silent since dropping “Hiss,” the track has been climbing up the charts and is on pace to debut at No. 9 on next week’s Hot 100.

Megan Thee Stallion took to Instagram to thank fans for their support and got some love from Latto in return.

On Wednesday (January 31), Meg shared a “Hiss” snippet, which included the “Megan’s Law” lyric that sent Minaj spiraling.

“Hotties I really really love and appreciate everything,” she penned in the caption. “KEEP RUNNING UP #HISS EVERYWHEREE.”

Latto, who has had her own online wars with Nicki Minaj in the past, left a comment for Megan Thee Stallion. While her new Jennifer Lopez collab was somewhat overshadowed by last weekend’s diss track war drama, the “Lottery” hitmaker gave Megan her flowers.

“U making us proud Meg,” she wrote alongside a star-struck emoji.

In 2022, Nicki Minaj and Latto became embroiled in a highly publicized feud following a dispute over Grammy nominations. The spat quickly turned heated, and the pair exchanged insults back and forth.

When Minaj dropped Pink Friday 2 last December, fans believed the NYC rapper took a shot at Latto on “Falling 4 U.”

Kanye West Slams Designer For Mocking New Yeezy “Pod” Shoes

Kanye West is furious with a designer he has accused of taking money from Adidas to mock his new Yeezy Pods.

Fans recently started receiving their new Yeezy brand sock-like shoes, and the sizing has apparently caused some confusion. According to the official Yeezy website, the Pods were available to purchase in sizes 1, 2 or 3. Some customers ended up with the wrong size and took to social media to share their experiences.

An Atlanta-based sneaker community Instagram account with 130,000 followers reposted a photo of the shoes from a Reddit user.

“So this what they mean when Size 3 fits size 10-13 in the Yzy Pod?” @ATATF wrote in the caption.

The post was shared multiple times on social media, including by designer Brittany Pierone, who, according to multiple social media users, was once on Kanye West’s Yeezy team.

She shared the photo on Instagram alongside the caption, “you are a strong worker.”

Kanye West caught wind of Pierone’s remarks and blasted the designer on his Instagram Story.

He shared a screenshot, allegedly of his DMs with Pierone, accusing her of taking money from Adidas to clown the Yeezy Pods.

“Get a size one,” he wrote in another text, adding that he worked on the design for a year before putting them out independently. He went on to slam Adidas, who he said “copied all my s### and treated me like s###.”

Usher Had “Secret Meetings” With Jay-Z, Pharrell, & Diddy To Form Supergroup

Usher stunned Hip-Hop and R&B fans after revealing he was once engaged in secret talks to form a supergroup with Jay-Z, Pharrell Williams and Diddy.

The “Good Good” hitmaker singer joined Shannon Sharpe on the latest episode of the “Club Shay Shay” podcast, which aired Wednesday (January 31).

Sharpe asked Usher if he had ever turned down a collab and later regretted it.

“Yeah. You gon’ hate me for this one,” Usher prefaced his revelation before adding, “Jay-Z, Pharrell, Diddy, and me was supposed to be a group. Yeah, that’s crazy.”

Sharpe asked why he declined, but Usher explained the idea eventually fizzled out. “I didn’t say, ‘No.’ I didn’t say, ‘Yeah,’” he said, adding, “I think that we just got caught up. We all got caught up in the moment. We was talking about it and having secret meetings about it.”

Despite their clandestine talks of a possible fruitful venture, the potential supergroup never came to be.

“We was talking about music and how we was gon’ flip it, and the business of it. Somehow, we just got distracted, and it never happened. That’s one that I actually wish would have happened,” said Usher.

However, Usher made another startling revelation about a missed opportunity, although this concerned a movie.

“Davis Geffen reached out to me to be in Dreamgirls,” Usher told a stunned Sharpe. “Yeah man, it just didn’t happen.“ According to the upcoming Super Bowl performer, while everyone from Eddie Murphy to Brandy contacted him about the role, he still turned it down. “Yeah, I didn’t do it,” he added.

Kanye West Dons Jason Mask To Join Travis Scott’s Circus Maximus Show

Kanye West joined good friend and frequent collaborator Travis Scott on stage in Orlando to perform some of their best love songs.

Scott gave fans a hint of the upcoming surprise just a few hours before the show began. He teased, “Tonight is gonna be special,” before sharing a photo of West, seemingly walking through an airport.

Ye took to the stage wearing a white hockey mask like the one used by the character Jason Vorhees in The Friday the 13th movies. West and Scott rocked the Kia Center crowd with their catalog of hits, erupting when they performed My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy smash “Runaway.”

https://twitter.com/Undrnovr/status/1752898054657552849?s=20

The set list included some old favorites, including The Life of Pablo’s “Father Stretch My Hands Pt. 1” and Graduation’s “Can’t Tell Me Nothing.” They also delivered another MBDTF banger, “All of the Lights,” while Ty Dolla Sign joined the duo for “Vultures” and “Fade.”

Travis Scott gave Kanye West his flowers during the show. “I wouldn’t be here on this stage without my brother, man. He opened up these doors for me,” he told the crowd. “Make some noise for the greatest of all time.”

Travis Scott caused panic in Rome when he brought out Kanye West as a surprise guest during his concert at Italy’s historic venue, Circus Maximus in April. The crowd went crazed at the sight of Ye and jumped so hard that local residents thought they’d experienced an earthquake.

Jam Master Jay’s Fellow Victim Points At & Identifies Alleged Shooter At Murder Trial

Uriel Rincon, the other man who was shot on the night of Jam Master Jay’s murder, testified in the alleged killers’ trial on Wednesday (January 31). Rincon identified Karl Jordan Jr. as the man who fatally shot Jam Master Jay in 2002.

“He kind of walked directly to Jay and gave—like half a handshake with an arm,” Rincon told jurors, per the Associated Press. “And at the same time, that’s when I hear a couple of shots … And then I see Jay just fall.”

Jordan and his co-defendant Ronald Washington are two of three men charged in Jam Master Jay’s murder. Jordan and Washington’s trial began on Monday (January 29). A third man, Jay Bryant, will be tried separately.

Prosecutors called Rincon, who was wounded in the 2002 shooting, to testify as the first eyewitness in the murder trial. He said Washington stood by the door in Jam Master Jay’s recording studio, ordering another witness to stay on the ground during the shooting.

“I’m trying to tend to my wound, and at the same time, I’m trying to give Jay attention,” Rincon said. “Asking him is he OK? Can he talk? Whatever. And he is just not responding.”

For years, Rincon claimed he could not identify the gunman. Rincon told jurors he was “confused and scared and not trusting a lot of things that were happening.” He recalled his shock because the shooter wasn’t a stranger.

“I didn’t understand what I saw, and I didn’t understand why or who because, again, it was somebody I knew,” Rincon testified. “So, that’s why it was hard for me to grasp.”

Roughly 15 years after the murder, Rincon revealed Jordan and Washington’s involvement to authorities. Rincon explained why he came forward with the information in his testimony.

“I felt that [Jam Master Jay’s] wife and his children needed closure,” he said. “And I felt that they should know what took place.”

Jordan and Washington face at least 20 years in prison if convicted of killing the Run-DMC DJ. Both men pleaded not guilty to murder charges.

Nicki Minaj Says Megan Thee Stallion Milked Tory Lanez Shooting For “Rihanna Moment”

Nicki Minaj continued attacking Megan Thee Stallion in a Twitter Spaces hosted by Joe Budden on Wednesday (January 31). Nicki claimed Megan exploited the Tory Lanez shooting, negatively comparing Megan’s situation to the way Rihanna handled being a domestic violence victim.

“Now you go on Gayle King,” Nicki said. “To be honest, it’s so obvious. She wanted a Rihanna moment so bad … Here’s the thing—Rihanna is just known for being herself. You get what you see. You see what you get, you get what you see type of vibe. I’m not talking about anything personally. I’m not talking about anything anyone spoke to me about. I’m saying that’s what we know Ri as. So, Rihanna never would milk something like [that]. You could tell she couldn’t wait to get that part of her—you could tell she couldn’t wait to move on with her life. You understand?”

She continued, “And then people even bashed her for not dragging it out, not milking it. And she was just like … I just wanna move on with my life now, yo. You know why? Because Rihanna knows that she was a superstar with or without controversy. She’s beautiful with or without controversy. She’s loved with or without controversy—I’m sorry, sympathy … But when you need constant f###### sympathy and then you get on social media and tell somebody, ‘Ain’t nobody gonna respond to me.’ Then when people responded to you, you go mute. And then try to stop my song from coming out. If Nicki Minaj had done any of those things, all y’all would have a lot to say.”

Nicki claimed her beef with Megan was more than a feud between two rappers. Nicki said she was fighting “a bunch of different machines” trying to ruin her career. The Republic Records artist believed Megan was the latest pawn in a long-running smear campaign.

Megan faced Nicki’s wrath after dropping the “HISS” single on January 26. The track featured lyrics widely assumed to be referencing Nicki’s husband, who is a registered sex offender. Nicki responded by dropping a diss track titled “Big Foot” and repeatedly targeting Megan in social media rants.

Lil Pump Doubles Down On Donald Trump Support With Tattoo

Lil Pump took his adulation for Donald Trump to the next level by getting a tattoo of the former president’s face. The Miami-bred rapper showed off the new ink on his leg in two photos on Instagram.

“MAGA,” he wrote in the caption.

Lil Pump pledged his support for Trump during the 2020 presidential race and remained loyal in subsequent years. Lil Pump even appeared on stage with Trump at a campaign rally in 2020, but Trump mistakenly referred to the rapper as “Lil Pimp.”

“I appreciate everything you’ve done for our country,” the rapper told Trump at the rally. “You brought the troops home and you’re doing the right thing. MAGA!”

Last November, Trump shouted out Lil Pump at a campaign rally in Florida. Trump said the rapper was “one of the few” artists who publicly vouched for the twice-impeached politician. Lil Pump reaffirmed his support for Trump a month later.

“Greatest president of all time,” he captioned a picture of himself and Trump on Instagram.

Lil Pump revealed his Trump tattoo a week after unexpectedly calling out Joe Budden on social media. The 23-year-old artist threatened to fight Budden for abusing women.

“I don’t respect a guy who f###### hits women,” he said on Instagram Live. “You hear me? So, listen up – f### Joe Budden! ‘Cause you literally harass women. Why the f### is you harassing women, hoe ass n####? You know what? Your ass will burn in hell ‘cause I’m ready to crash out by this s###.”

Lil Pump posted Budden’s mugshot and an old article about sexual harassment allegations against the rapper-turned-podcaster on Instagram Stories. Budden faced domestic violence and grand larceny charges in the past, but the criminal charges were dropped. Budden pleaded guilty to disorderly conduct, a violation in New York, in 2016.
