Sexyy Red said she told NLE Choppa to dog walk her and Sukihana by their hair in an interview with Bootleg Kev. Sexyy Red defended NLE Choppa and criticized anyone who was outraged by the visual.
“Y’all lame and wrong for that,” she told Bootleg Kev. “He didn’t do nothing wrong. They so lame. I ain’t understand. But he really didn’t do nothing wrong. He was just doing what I told him.”
She explained, “We was on our knees twerking then I just said, ‘Pull my hair.’ S###, pull my hair. We gon’ twerk and walk. S###, people get their hair pulled all the time … That’s why I didn’t understand [the backlash].”

Rapper Young Juve provided an update on his health after reports surfaced about his involvement in a shooting.
Juvenile’s son responded to a blog’s Instagram post, which said he was shot in the face in a rental car. The post included a brief clip of the shooting’s aftermath.
“I’m Gucci,” Young Juve commented.
Young Juve also reacted to an Instagram user suggesting Uncle Murda’s song “Hard to Kill” as a new anthem for Juvenile’s son.
“Hell naw,” he wrote. “I’m not even bout to play wit the universe like that Imma just appreciate the blessed and keep steppin.”
Young Juve addressed the shooting on his Instagram page as well. He seemed to be in good spirits after reading some of the social media chatter on Wednesday night (May 17).

A few days earlier, Young Juve shared a photo of his bandaged face. He referenced the shooting in the post’s caption.

According to Local 10, “The Welcome to Suga Land,” a free family-friendly event for the public, is planned for Saturday, May 20, and will raise awareness about the effects of gun violence.

Cops also discovered two others at the location, who had suffered non-life-threatening injuries.

According to Queen Latifah, spent time with him when he was in Oakland as a dancer for Digital Underground. She says Tupac invented one of Hip-Hop’s most iconic dance, the Humpty Dance.

Juneteenth became a federal holiday in 2021 after President Joe Biden signed the Juneteenth National Independence Day Act. June 19 commemorates the day Major General Gordon Granger proclaimed freedom for enslaved people in Texas in 1865. Granger announced his General Order No. 3 over two years after President Abraham Lincoln issued the Emancipation Proclamation.

RCA recording artist Dimitri “Rich The Kid” Roger offered a mea culpa to the mother of his child. The 30-year-old Rich Forever label head took to Instagram to apologize to Tori Hughes (aka Tori Brixx).
Rich The Kid recently made the news for allegedly paying another woman $35,000 in hush money to keep quiet about her pregnancy by the Queens-born entertainer. The unnamed woman reportedly filed a lawsuit against Roger in Massachusetts court.
“I’d like to make a public apology to my best friend, my lover, and fiancée, for any disrespect, disloyalty, or allegations of anything,” wrote Rich The Kid in an Instagram post shared on Wednesday.

Diddy asked a judge to throw out the lawsuit filed by his former nanny, claiming the woman didn’t do her job properly.
The Hip-Hop mogul’s former nanny, a woman claiming to be the niece of his late ex-Kim Porter, filed a lawsuit last year alleging Diddy fired her after she requested maternity leave. Raven Wales-Walden said Puffy’s reps told her she “set a bad example” for his daughters because she got pregnant outside of marriage.
Diddy initially branded the suit seeking unspecified damages a “meritless shakedown.” He also accused his former nanny of attempting to “extort” him and said, “Raven is not the niece of Kim Porter as she falsely alleges.” Additionally, the Bad Boy Records founder said the nanny was only ever supposed to be a temporary service as his daughters were getting older and at school most of the day.
Diddy Denies The Allegations
Now Diddy is asking the court to throw out the entirety of her claim, RadarOnline reports. He asked the judge to dismiss her claim because Raven failed to “satisfactorily perform her job responsibilities, and otherwise conduct herself in accordance with the standards and policies of Combs Defendants.”
Diddy also stated he took “reasonable steps to prevent and correct workplace discrimination (if any) and to implement internal grievance processes designed to respond to, correct, remedy, or otherwise avoid the alleged harm, if any, and [Raven] unreasonably failed to utilize the preventive and corrective measures that the Combs Defendants provided, and reasonable use of such procedures would have prevented at least some of the harm (if any) that [Raven] alleges to have suffered.”
Furthermore, he denied his actions were discriminatory and claimed Raven was “not performing all of her job duties as required, that there were some days that [Raven] received compensation for work that was not performed, thus resulting in wages being paid to [Raven] that were not owed.”

Yo Gotti has come to the aid of 42 Dugg, offering to put up $2 million to any lawyer who can free his artist.
The CMG rapper made an impassioned plea from behind bars Tuesday (May 16), calling for “the best civil lawyer in Georgia,” complaining that he is deprived of his basic human rights.
In the since-deleted posts, 42 Dugg claims he has no access to hot water to heat food and has been denied family visits.
“Im in jail for going to the gun range, dropping dirty and failure to appear,” he penned. “I didn’t steal from nobody, hurt nobody, they handling me crazy. Man im in this b#### heating my food up with the water from the nasty ass shower. They dont even give us hot water to heat our food up aint no microwave, I can’t get no visits from my family nothing. Im sure they gone do some more illegal s### but what I pose to die in this b#### for probation violation.”
He also accused U.S. Marshalls of telling the prison to prevent him from attending a Zoom court hearing for an old case. He claims this stopped him from being released to a halfway house.

Jack Harlow defended the White Men Can’t Jump reboot in an interview with the Associated Press.
The Atlantic Records rapper stars in the new White Men Can’t Jump, which is scheduled to premiere on Hulu on Friday (May 19). Jack Harlow acknowledged his frustration when asked about people criticizing the decision to reboot a classic sports movie.
“It p##### me off,” he said.
Jack Harlow believed no one was truly upset over the White Men Can’t Jump reboot. He dismissed the complaints and noted his film is for a younger audience.
“For me, nobody even feels that strongly,” he said. “Everybody just needs something to say ‘cause it’s just like, ‘Oh, this is something I can comment on.’ Nobody actually cares or feels truly strong or emotional or is sitting at dinner aggravated with their significant other about it. Nobody cares. So, it’s like we don’t care, for real. And another thing, it’s for the youth.”
Jack Harlow makes his acting debut in the White Men Can’t Jump reboot. Earlier this week, the 25-year-old hitmaker said he feels more freedom as an actor than he does as a Hip-Hop artist.
“I tell the truth on the mic, but maybe sometimes I feel some slight constraints in Hip-Hop because there’s a tradition to it, and I know I’m a guest in the genre,” he said. “There’s things that go through your head from time to time. It looks like Kang The Conqueror may be cut from the new Loki series that is coming out on Disney+. The new trailer of the show does not mention Jonathan Majors at all. And, recently, Kevin Feige did an interview and he did not mention Majors either. This could be a number of things.
It could also mean that they are making a decision on him. Also, there is a rider strike in Hollywood that is impacting the whole industry of TV and film. I do think that they have to make a decision and they are making it on going, in real time. They may not cut him completely, but they may cut him from this particular series and hope that things go well. I simply don’t know, but I do hope that he gets the benefit of the doubt in the long run and not just based on what people perceive. There is still a place for the truth.

Following the highly anticipated release of her debut project, R&B/ Soul singer-songstress Autumn Corin has released her follow-up EP, ‘Autumn In Spring’ available on all digital platforms via Zooted Music.
Accompanying the release, Corin now unleashes the video for “Dreams.”
The Camp 86 & Hossy Beats-produced track “Dreams” was written from the perspective of seduction, with Corin singing directly to her “victim,” who happens to fall under her temptress-like spell. In its underlying tones, it boasts that the only way to reach her is through your dreams, never in reality.
From Corin’s lens, it is the acceptance of officially moving on from a previous, toxic situation and realizing her worth as a woman. The duality of woman is also strongly represented here, particularly in the visuals, presenting a contrast between a woman’s divine, heavenly side versus the riveting and sometimes even beguiling side of a woman.
Following the release of the stripped-down and vulnerable “Autumn in Winter,” Corin was passionate about bringing in the Spring season more empowered and uplifting. With the temperatures warming and the flowers blooming, Corin felt it necessary to “heat” things up in a more focused but stylized way while still allowing for a continuous flow from project to project.
Rick Ross moved forward with his upcoming car show despite pushback from officials in Fayetteville, Georgia.
The rapper’s lawyer Leron E. Rogers declared the show will go on after Rick Ross was denied a permit for the event. The attorney dismissed the need for a permit.
“There’s no reason to stop the event,” Rogers told the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. “This is not approval of the event. This is whether we get a permit or not. And so there’s a consequence for not getting a permit. It’s a $1,000 fine … It’s not going to stop the show.”
Rick Ross will host his car show at his Fayetteville estate on June 3. His lawyer threatened to sue Fayette County for denying the permit, claiming the denial might affect attendance for the show.
“We hope to avoid that, but we would be entitled to and be seeking damages for all the expenses that we’ve incurred and lost profits that we would incur as a result of the county’s actions,” Rogers said. “Such legal actions can still be avoided if the denial is reversed and a directive is issued to county staff to approve the conditional use permit for the event.”
Rick Ross announced plans to run for mayor of Fayetteville in response to the permit denial. He claimed he would “clean some people out” if elected.
A Glendale High School teacher, who was filmed saying the n-word several times by one of his students in his Geometry class, resigns from Springfield Public Schools.
The teacher, Kenneth Bowling, attempted to engage his students about who can and cannot use the derogatory word during class.

Bowling is heard on the recording he saying did not like the N-word, adding, “I don’t know. It feels like when a Black person is using it towards another Black person, it’s the same. How is it not still a derogatory word?”
He then used the word.
Though students said they were offended by his use of the slur, he continued to use it.
“But I am not calling anyone a N-word,” he said. “I can say the word.”
Students videotaped part of his exchange and posted it on social media, and within days he was placed on administrative leave.
Now, Stephen Hall, an SPS spokesman, says the educator has officially resigned, turning in his paperwork to the district on Monday, May 15.
“The teacher who was initially placed on administrative leave following the situation at Glendale High School is no longer employed by Springfield Public Schools,” Hall said in a prepared statement, accordingto Springfield Daily Citizen.
Ironically, Mary Walton, the student who filmed the exchange was suspended from school for three days. Officials said she violated the district’s strict no-cell phone-in-class policy.
“Much speculation has occurred regarding student discipline related to a video recording of the unacceptable classroom incident,” Hall said. “The student handbook is clear on consequences for inappropriate use of electronic devices.”
