FBG Cash Shot And Killed In Chicago By Unknown Gunman

The hip-hop community has been rocked by another death, with the murder of FBG Cash.

According to reports, the Chicago rapper was shot and killed in broad daylight, as he sat in his vehicle.

A black Cadillac pulled up next to the 31-year-old’s vehicle, which was parked on the 1600 block of West 81st Street around 5:30 a.m. this morning (June 10th).

A gunman hopped out and open fire, striking the rapper and a 29-year-old woman sitting in the car with him.

FBG Cash was taken to Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn to be treated, but he eventually succumbed to his injuries.

The unidentified woman was struck in the back and arm by gunfire and is reportedly in critical condition.

FBG Cash was part of the Fly Boy Gang, which was engaged in a bitter feud with rappers associated with Lil Durk and O Block.

In October of 2021, five members associated with O Block were indicted on RICO conspiracy charges for the murder of FBG Duck, who was shot and killed in August 2020.

FBG Duck was shot outside of a high-end clothing store in the opulent Gold Coast neighborhood.

Charles Liggins a.k.a. “C Murda,” Kenneth Roberson a.k.a. “Kenny Mac,” Christopher Thomas a.k.a. “C Thang,” Tacarlos Offerd a.k.a “Los” and Marcus Smart a.k.a. “Muwop” have been charged with committing murder in aid of racketeering and numerous firearm charges.

Many felt FBG Cash was taking subliminal shots at late O Block member King Von after he took a picture in front of the deceased rapper’s mural.

In March, Lil Dirk dropped a diss record aimed at the FBG crew, called “Computer Murderers,” which called out FBG Wooski, who was shot in the head after attending a funeral in 2018.

On the track, Durk raps: “Sneakin’ pics by Von mural like lil’ bro won’t come out and spin/He ain’t hurt a fly so he ain’t count, I still’ll give him ten…”

So far no arrests have been made in the shooting death of FBG Cash.

Louie Valentino Is ready For The Big Time After Working With Snoop, Too Short, TI And More!

Vallejo, California native Louie Valentino (LV) started in the music industry at a young age. Being recognized for his talents in music afforded him opportunities to sign to notable music groups in the bay area by age 7, and by age 12 he was well into a solo career as an artist.

Music wasn’t the only interest as LV always had an entrepreneurial spirit. By building out his other media skills, LV was able to use other career avenues like videography and photography to learn other aspects of the entertainment industry. By surrounding himself in the many facets of music LV was able to identify that he had an ear for quality, especially because he had spent so many years focused on being an artist. The same passion that LV had for learning other areas of music, led him to engineering and It has been a primary focus since.

After spending time in sessions with other engineers like Young Chariz and Silly Da Man in the early years, LV decided it was time to make an investment into his own studio equipment so that he could take his career to the next level. Fast forward to age 25 and having developed skills more as a notable engineer, LV was able to work exclusively with Bay Area artist Mistah Fab and the client list grew from there.

LV has engineered out of many studios in the Bay area including the legendary studio “The Grill” in Emeryville California as well as Empire in San Francisco, a popular music label that has been highlighted for its accelerated success of musicians and the like.

LV has worked with many notable music artists such as Lil Boosie, Snoop Dogg, G-Eazy, The Game,Trey Songs, Gunplay, T.I., Juvenile, Jacquees, E-40, Too-Short, and many more! LV has an ambitious goal of becoming one of the best and the biggest engineers in the music industry and with over 4 million streams and counting, is well on his way to being a contender in the engineering space.

“The focus has always been to create my own sound and the sauce I add to records will help them stand out”

LV remains a student of the engineering space by studying others who are notable like Teezio, Bainz, Jaycen Joshua, Leslie Brathwaite and Mixed by Ali. LV’s profile can be found among other notable choices in “Engineears” for bookings but it won’t be the only place his name rings in the industry.

What motivated you to be an engineer?

I’ve been an engineer since I was young doing all my own music and all my friends in the neighborhood used to come to the house or my grandmother’s house to record. But I didn’t start taking it seriously until I found out I was having a baby. I was doing acting at the time and I knew I would have to put it on hold eventually, because that took up a lot of my time so I was like “What can I do to still make the same amount of money?” Or more, so I started taking over doing Mistah Fab music, found a studio to work out of and from there everything just took off. Especially during covid my client list was super long. Once it started getting serious I started watching more videos and reading books to get an understanding of everything and shadowing other big engineers.

AllHipHop: What was it about that part of the game that got you hooked?

What got me hooked on engineering is when new clients came in and did sessions I would put a ruff mix on their records and they would get hella juiced like, “Bro you’re super dope. I’ve never had anyone make me sound like this before.” And I was doing simple little things drops in the beat telephone effects on the voice little delays and they loved it. So from there I knew I was really on to something. Especially working with singers I would hear a reference of their work with other engineers and be like this is trash. I know I could take your sound to the next level and that’s what I did created my own sauce.

AllHipHop:Didn’t you try to rap? What made you shift gears?

AllHipHop: I wouldn’t say I tried to rap. I did rap and had some great success with my career especially starting so young. I never stopped. I just took a break to find myself as an artist, what my sound and lane are, and what my fans like and dislike. I also felt like me learning engineering all the way would take my sound to the next level and it did. And the best part for me is I got an intern/assistant and put him up on so much game on how to mix an after session. After session he got my sound down and knows how to make me sound like I would if I mixed it myself.

AllHipHop:Do you think you will go back to being an artist?

I’m still an artist. I’ve got four projects fully completed and over 50 singles just sitting waiting to be released. My Ep “Late Night Hype ” Part 1 & 2 is definitely coming soon then after that my album ” Welcome To Louieville ” is dropping.

AllHipHop: Who has been the most pleasure working with?

To be honest all my clients are a pleasure working with. Mistah Fab is definitely one every session. We have had is always creative and a different style of rap. Lil Boosie is also another artist that’s dope to work with great energy, funny as hell, and never a dull moment. I just finished working on MMG artist GUNPLAY’s new album. I mixed the majority of the album. It was definitely fun trying to take the rough mixes and turn them into something next level.

AllHipHop: What is the most important aspect of being an engineer?

The most important aspect of being an engineer to me is taking the song to the next level, and having as much creativity as possible. Engineers have the biggest job at the end of the day the producer makes the beat the artist makes the song then it’s your job to make it sound amazing. There are plenty of songs out there that are terrible because they weren’t mixed the right way or don’t have any creativity to them. With me, I try to focus on making sure all the vocals are crispy, clean, and clear. The beat has life space and bottom that hits hard to make you feel it. So to all the artists out there stop being cheap and going to these hole in the wall studios get you a real tracking engineer an engineer that really knows how to mix and can take your vision to the next level that way when you hear your song you can sit back and excited about it but also visualize what your listening too.

AllHipHop: Can you tell what are some of the best engineered album in rap history? From your point of view.

I definitely feel like all the Kendrick Lamar albums are mixed to perfection and I haven’t heard anything in Hip-Hop mixed like that in a long time so ima just end it there on that note, shout out to mixed by Ali.

AllHipHop: Salute.

Defjam Presents: OHNO – Sunshine In A Bag EP

OHNO is a 24-year-old rapper, out of Los Angeles, who focuses on the calm, and the happy, as opposed to the b#######, that comes with life. He’s been through a lot and seen a vast spectrum of experiences that have made him into the creative that he is today. Born in Anaheim in 1996, OHNO’s childhood wasn’t an easy breeze. His father left the family when he was eight years old, leading to his mother having to do whatever it took to support her family.

This included selling drugs, which kept her away from her kids, and her kids either living with family or friends. Every few months, they’d be in basements, cars, houses of family members, and more—just doing what it took to move forward.

When he was 12 years old, OHNO’s mom got deported from the United States for being what’s called a “coyote”—or someone who smuggles people into the United States from Mexico. This led to OHNO and his siblings going to live with his aunt, and then OHNO getting kicked out for getting in trouble at just 14 years old. Through the pain and trauma, OHNO turned to music. When he was in elementary school, he was inspired by Chris Brown’s dancing and singing to dream about performing—even going so far as keeping a notepad where he’d jot down rap lines and potential dance moves that he’d practice.

He’d also listened to everything from CIara and Gang Starr, to Debbie Deb, Zapp and Roger, Metallica, and a vast variety of music from both today and yesterday that define his approach to music today. At 14, having already recorded his first song at his aunt’s house on a $100 USB microphone cord, OHNO went to Los Angeles to act on his already festering love for music.

He’d already been out there for a couple of years with friends, skateboarding and making songs inspired by what he’d been hearing in various households. But once he got kicked out, that’s when things started to get serious.

He found a place in Watts and started to seriously record music. Around this time, in 2014, OHNO found his first rap moniker: Relevant. He was a part of a collective called “Atlast” that focused on making boom-bap rap. He released his first project, The BurgundyandChips & Hennessythat year. But after a while, he realized the scope of his vision over the course of a couple of years, through projects like the ClubandBirthday Present, and realized that he wanted to make bigger records outside of the scope of that particular sound. And so as he found a fanbase in boom-bap, he alienated it to pursue a new creative vision, losing some of his built supporters at the time.

But upon pursuing the new aesthetic, they returned—and then some. Now, OHNO’s at the top of his game, making the music he wants, and, after eight total projects so far, finally comfortable and preparing for the next step. He’s in the middle of recording a multitude of singles, to continue building and shaping the fanbase that has remained loyal and keeps growing. Within the next year, he wants to drop an album full of the best work that he’s ever done. From dealing with so much trauma to being firmly in control of his future, OHNO is ready for the next step with his EP “SunshineinaBag” out June 10th, 2022

RZA Set To Release ‘Bobby Digital And The Pit of Snakes’ Graphic Novel & Soundtrack

Robert “RZA” Diggs is bringing back his Bobby Digital alter ego for a brand new Z2 Comics-backed graphic novel and soundtrack. RZA, Vasilis Lolos, and Ryan O’Sullivan wrote the storyline for RZA Presents: Bobby Digital and The Pit of Snakes.

“The character Bobby Digital getting his first official first graphic novel is a long-overdue achievement,” says RZA. “Growing up as an avid comic reader, it’s an honor to add my creativity to this amazing platform of storytelling.”

The Wu-Tang Clan member also adds, “Z2 Comics understands that music artists resonate in the comic book/graphic novel world and this relationship is destined to grow.”

In addition, Vasilis Lolos illustrated Bobby Digital and The Pit of Snakes and created the soundtrack’s cover art. 36 Chambers ALC/MRNK will release the 8-song album. The project includes the first single “We Push” featuring Stone Mecca.

“As a longtime fan of RZA and his musical legacy, there was nothing more flattering than the chance to collaborate on this graphic novel and witness it inspire a brand new record of the same name,” states Joshua Frankel of Z2 Comics.

Joshua Frankel continues, “Skillfully harmonizing music and story is the ultimate goal of our Z2 music books, and there is no better example of this than RZA Presents: Bobby Digital and The Pit of Snakes.”

RZA will release Bobby Digital and The Pit of Snakes graphic novel and soundtrack on July 22. Z2 Comics also offers several exclusive bundles of the novel, including different deluxe editions and extras.

The company previously worked with Vince Staples, Public Enemy, Machine Gun Kelly, Cypress Hill, and other recording artists. American publishing company Simon & Schuster globally distributes Z2 Comics.

Post Malone Presents “Twelve Carat Toothache Listening Experience” Video

Music star Post Malone returned last week with his fourth full-length studio LP. The Republic recording artist drop Twelve Carat Toothache on June 3.

Prior to the release of the album, Post Malone invited his friends and family to hear the new project for the first time. Director Micah Bickham filmed the special event for Amazon Music’s Rotation, the streaming company’s Hip Hop and R&B brand.

Post Malone’s “Twelve Carat Toothache Listening Experience” arrived on YouTube yesterday (June 9). The 44-minute video has already collected over 190,000 views and 14,000 likes on the platform.

“I’m just trying to recreate the feeling that you get in the studio, hearing it at 6 am, just hanging out and having fun,” said Post Malone about the Twelve Carat Toothache listening session. “I originally wanted to do it in a spaceship. But it’s not possible – so I’m told.”

Industry prognosticators expect Twelve Carat Toothache will open with around 130,000 first-week units. That total would likely put Post Malone in a tight race for #1 on the Billboard 200 chart with Bad Bunny’s Un Verano Sin Ti.

2018’s Beerbongs & Bentleys and 2019’s Hollywood’s Bleeding reached #1. Both albums earned Multi-Platinum certifications from the RIAA. 2016’s Stoney peaked at #4 on the Billboard 200 and eventually reached 5x-Platinum status.

Post Malone also has three Diamond-certified singles. “Congratulations” featuring Quavo (11x-Platinum), “Rockstar” featuring 21 Savage (10x-Platinum), and “Sunflower” with Swae Lee (11x-Platinum) have each crossed the 10 million sales mark.

Da Brat & Wife Jesseca Dupart Talk IVF Pregnancy Complications

Shawntae “Da Brat” Harris and Jesseca “Judy” Dupart tied the knot in Georgia earlier this year. The married couple has experienced some serious difficulties in an attempt to have a child.

Jesseca Dupart and Da Brat recently stopped by The Tamron Hall Show to talk about the in vitro fertilization process. Dupart nearly came to tears as she discussed the hardships of trying to have a baby.

“[Da Brat] never experienced [motherhood] and she is a very caring person. She is the most nurturing person I’ve ever met in my whole entire life. So I just think that that would be great and anything that I’m able to give her in this lifetime I will,” expressed Jesseca Dupart.

The Kaleidoscope Hair Products founder added, “I was hospitalized with blood clots. It’s just been a lot but we were not giving up.” Da Brat added, “I have been to the doctor more than I ever have in my whole life. Goodness. How many pap smears a woman got to get? Damn.”

In addition, Da Brat confirmed she is working on new music. As one of the most successful female rappers to emerge from the 1990s, Brat established herself as a mainstream act with numerous Top 40 hits.

The Chicago-bred emcee/actress became the first solo female rapper to receive a Platinum plaque for an album. 1994’s Funkdafied cross the 1 million sales mark in 1995 after peaking at #11 on the Billboard 200 chart.

Da Brat made it into the Billboard 200’s Top 10 with the 2000 studio LP Unrestricted. That body of work reached Platinum status too. Her catalog also contains the Gold-certified Anuthatantrum.

Pharrell Williams Calls 21 Savage & Tyler, The Creator “Ravenous Wolves”

Hip Hop legend Pharrell Williams called on two modern-day rap stars for the new “Cash In Cash Out” single. 21 Savage and Tyler, The Creator joined forces with Pharrell for the cut.

Apple Music 1’s Zane Lowe spoke to Pharrell Williams about “Cash In Cash Out” featuring 21 Savage and Tyler, The Creator. The Neptunes member had high praise for his collaborators.

“I knew the track was aggressive, and it doesn’t let up. So it’s like those are the two. It’s like letting two pit bulls loose. Ravenous. Two ravenous wolves,” said Pharrell. “Tyler went crazy. He had done that verse before he put his last album out.”

Pharrell Williams will also present the “Cash In Cash Out” music video later today (June 10). The track’s official visuals premiere at 12 pm ET on Pharrell’s verified YouTube channel.

“We knew that we wanted something that was different and something that was gripping, something that I had never really done before. That’s pretty much it. That’s always the goal,” Williams told Zane Lowe about the upcoming visuals.

The Virginia Beach-raised producer/rhymer continued, “I mean, just with everything else that I’m doing, I don’t want to play. If I can’t put a blow torch to your face, what am I doing? I mean, Scorsese doesn’t play. Why should I?”

In April, YoungBoy Never Broke Again and P Yungin released a music video for the “Pull Up Actin” single. That visual amassed over 4.6 million views on YouTube. The song racked up over 4.5 million Spotify streams.

U.K. Artist Benzz Taps French Montana & Tion Wayne For Remix Of Viral Hit “Je M’apelle”

Benzz has returned with a remix to his viral hit “Je M’apelle,” and he’s added some heavy hitters to the track.

The newcomer to the U.K. music scene tapped fellow Londoner Tion Wayne for the updated version of the song. Fellow Moroccan native French Montana also appears on the remix. Check it out below.

Benzz exploded onto the scene earlier this year after his debut single “Je M’apelle” went viral. The song, which features a sample from Alex Gaudino’s club anthem, “Destination Calabria,” began trending #2 on YouTube before receiving a boost from one of the biggest soccer clubs in the world. Real Madrid, as well as FIFA and Champions League, all featured the song on their official TikTok accounts.

https://www.instagram.com/tv/CciniZLFvot/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link

Benzz was an aspiring professional footballer before switching to music in September last year. However, while the 18-year-old “started jumping up and down on the spot,” when the Champions League shared his song, the teenager remained grounded. Though he found it difficult initially to focus on his studies while having a viral hit, he wants to finish school.

“You see the numbers, you see the performance and you see people vibing with it and I can’t lie, you’re just sat there sometimes thinking “why am I here?” But obviously, at the same time, I only have two months left of college,” Benzz reflected in May. “So I’m just looking to stay focused there and see everything out.”

However, his classmates and educators are fully supportive of his talent. “All my teachers know about the song, too,” Benzz told Versus. “There’s a big buzz around school for me right now man. Even the headteacher pulled me aside… he just said “well done!”

Elsewhere during the interview, Benzz revealed he has high hopes for his next release. “Obviously, I wanna hear Je M’appelle popping off all summer. But then given a bit of time, the next single is gonna go off even harder. Another viral smash is coming!,” Benzz declared. “The sample is probably similar in terms of popularity, but I just feel like it goes even harder than this track. Just wait on it!”

DJ Akademiks Set To Share More Documents From Tory Lanez & Megan Thee Stallion Case After The DA Named Him In Court

Tory Lanez returned to court on Thursday (Jun. 9) for a scheduling hearing in the Megan Thee Stallion shooting case. However, prosecutors in the Los Angeles County courtroom had another matter to bring to the judge’s attention.

Deputy District Attorney Kathy Ta raised the issue of leaked documents and questioned if Tory was responsible. She noted that sealed discovery began surfacing online following Megan Thee Stallion’s April interview with CBS’ Gayle King.

Additionally, the DA alleged DJ Akademiks leaked the court documents on social media, something the podcaster denies.

He took to Twitter to share part of the court transcript. “D.A. Just briefly, this is in regards to the actual trial and what court this will go to for purposes of security.

“Since the last court date, it was apparent there were some leaks of part of the discovery to the members of the public. Mainly there was an individual identified as DJ Akademiks has made additional comments that he had access to the police report.”

DJ Akademiks Said “Roc Nation” & “Meg Squad” Gave Him The Docs

Despite the DA suggesting Tory might have leaked the docs, Akademiks said he got them directly from Meg’s team. “How many times they finna bring up my name in the case wit Meg n tory,” he asked in the caption. “i done told y’all I got the documents from Roc Nation n Meg squad. 🤷‍♂️”

He returned a short while later, claiming other documentation will also soon see the light of day. Once again, DJ Akademiks claimed Roc Nation sent him the legal documents.

“I got some more Meg n Tory court docs to go thru on my next @OffTheRecordHD podcast,” he wrote. “thank u Roc Nation .. y’all got my inbox on fire. 🤷‍♂️”

Tory Lanez must return to court for a hearing on July 28. The trial is expected to begin on September 14.

Akademiks and Megan Thee Stallion exchanged shots in February after the former Everyday Struggle co-host claimed no DNA was found on the gun used to shoot the “Savage” rapper. Megan Thee Stallion quickly started doing damage control on her own Instagram Stories and claimed the court hadn’t even been called into a session when Akademiks supposedly got that news.

XXXTentacion’s Posthumous Double-Disc Project ‘Look At Me: The Album’ Arrives

XXXTentacion legacy continues with the release of his posthumous album; a compilation project to coincide with the recently released feature-length documentary on the late rapper.

Look At Me: The Album is described as an “audio companion” to the film featuring 25 cuts sorted into two well-defined halves. The first side is composed of 11 tracks XXXTentacion made early in his career. These will debut on streaming platforms for the first time. The songs include the Ski Mask The Slump God-assisted “FUXK,” “Vice City,” and “King of the Dead.”

Meanwhile the other side of the album is a collection of 13 of X’s biggest songs, including his 2015 breakout hit “Look At Me!” Other fan favorites include “SAD!,” “Jocelyn Flores,” and “Moonlight.”

Also included on the second half is the recently released “True Love,” a posthumous collab with Kanye West. The song originally featured on Ye’s Donda 2 project before featuring on the credits of the XXXTentacion documentary.

Frequent collaborator Ski Mask the Slump God, who also appears in the Hulu documentary, is the only other credited artist on the record.

Earlier on Thursday (Jun. 9), hours ahead of the project’s release, Billboard reported XXXTentacion and Kanye’s “True Love” debuted at No. 5 on the Billboard’s Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart dated 11 June. The song initially appeared exclusively on Ye’s Donda 2 Stem Player release in February. It then received wider distribution when the project debuted on streaming platforms on May 27.

Jim Jones & Maino Reveal How Their Beef Led To A Dramatic Standoff In An Atlanta Mall

Jim Jones and Maino dropped their debut The Lobby Boyz project last month, but many fans were unaware the pair had some issues back in the day.

Cam’ron and Jim Jones were not happy when Maino took shots at them on a song. However, “a Mexican standoff,” during a visit to an Atlanta shopping mall was all it took to squash the beef.

Jim Jones and Maino described the hilarious encounter for the first time on a recent episode of Gillie Da Kid and Wallo’s Million Dollaz Worth Of Game podcast. The two rappers ran into each other on an escalator while shopping at Lenox Mall in Atlanta. However, while the situation was tense, as neither man wanted to back down, they ultimately found a way to see eye to eye.

“We had a Mexican standoff,” Maino recalled as the show hosts broke into fits of laughter. “I was on the escalator going up, Lenox Mall. Jim Jones had to have 30 n##### with him. I had my brother 80 with me, it was like four or five of us. I’m going up, and I see these n##### going down, and they see me and I start counting and I’m like ‘Damn, that’s a lot of n#####.’ So I got to the top of the escalator, something say turn around and them n##### coming back up.”

The two groups then began eyeballing each other before exchanging a few words.

Jim Jones added, “80 and Sheek, Sheek is my OG, similar to how [Maino] and 80 move. But they knew each other very tight from being in the street. So at that point, they kind of intervened. They was saying what they was saying and it was just somehow me and him walked by ourselves to Bloomingdale’s.” Check out the clip below.

Jim Jones & Maino Take Control Of The Situation

Despite their issues, Jim Jones and Maino separated themselves from the others and introduced themselves to each other. They were able to calm the situation and prevent things from going left.

Fortunately for fans of the two New York spitters, the pair maintained a good relationship and formed The Lobby Boyz. Check out their 15-track self-titled debut below, featuring Benny The Butcher, Fabolous, Dave East, Styles P, Fivio Foreign, and more.

Ketu (@Ketuikediuba) is back with an intense new video for his heartwarming first single, “Rain On Me.” The soulful ballad is a standout track off his first EP, Ano-Ele. The visual for “Rain On Me” came on the heels of Juneteenth weekend and served as a cinematic reminder that visually Ketu is a step ahead of the pack. His team at The HE(A)RD/Guin Records knows how to break a star but, more importantly, how to find one. Ketu has made a career from his gift of digital illustration, but music has always been a passion. Although he is relatively new to making music, songs like “Rain On Me” prove he is built to last in the industry.

Ketu’s new video is a mini-movie. All of his visuals are a continuation of the previous ones. They are all connected to a certain extent. His classic blue BMW is shown prominently throughout the 3-minute short film. “Rain On Me” shows Ketu’s promise. It shows that he is a storyteller with his songs and visuals alike. DJ Express Is An Original Talent

Justin Nunez, known to his fans as DJ Express, is an independent artist from Bridgewater, New Jersey. DJ Express got his start in music when he was just 14 years old and has had a passion for it ever since. His father was a DJ in New York City which made him want to get into DJing and producing to follow in his footsteps and take his career to a new level.

DJ Express got his start making remixes on SoundCloud and gathered a strong following there. He faced some hardship after his account got deleted for making remixes and this caused him to change paths and start making his own original content rather than remixing. This gave him a new outlook on music and his own skills which made him fall in love with the craft even more.

DJ Express currently produces every single song from scratch from start to finish. Kevin Liles Creates “Rap Music On Trial” Petition After Testifying On Young Thug’s Behalf

Longtime music executive Kevin Liles made a petition in response to the RICO case against Young Thug, Gunna and other YSL members.

Kevin Liles created his “Rap Music on Trial: Protect Black Art” petition on Change.org. The 300 Entertainment co-founder condemned the use of rap lyrics in criminal cases, citing Young Thug and YSL’s legal troubles as an example.

“Today in courtrooms across America, Black creativity and artistry is being criminalized,” he wrote. “With increasing and troubling frequency, prosecutors are attempting to use rap lyrics as confessions. This practice isn’t just a violation of First Amendment protections for speech and creative expression. It punishes already marginalized communities and silences their stories of family, struggle, survival and triumph.”

Kevin Liles called for federal and state legislation to limit prosecutors from using lyrics as evidence in criminal trials. He applauded the New York State Senate for passing such a bill in May.

“We hope that it and similar bills will become law across America to end this attack on our First Amendment freedoms that disproportionately harms Black and other minority artists,” he wrote.

Kevin Liles testified on Young Thug’s behalf at a bond hearing on June 2. A judge denied bond to the rapper, whose trial won’t begin until January 2023.

Prosecutor Says Leaks In Tory Lanez & Megan Thee Stallion Shooting Case Could “Subvert” Justice

A prosecutor expressed concerns about leaks in the assault case against Tory Lanez, who allegedly shot Megan Thee Stallion.

According to Rolling Stone, Deputy District Attorney Kathy Ta questioned if Tory Lanez leaked documents at a court hearing on Thursday (June 9). Ta took issue with sealed discovery surfacing online in the aftermath of Megan Thee Stallion’s April interview with CBS’ Gayle King.

“Since the last court date, it was apparent there were some leaks of part of the discovery to media or members of the public,” Ta said.

Ta added, “My concern is the way the leaks are being disseminated and extrapolated in certain ways to mislead the state of the evidence. I do have concerns about invested members of the public trying to subvert the fair administration of justice.”

Rolling Stone noted a YouTube vlogger published portions of a sealed police report two weeks after Megan Thee Stallion’s CBS interview. The preliminary report included a line about a doctor saying she suffered a laceration from stepping on glass, which Tory Lanez supporters believe exonerates him. But LAPD Det. Ryan Stogner’s testimony and medical records corroborate the shooting allegations.

Tory Lanez and his lawyer Shawn Holley denied leaking anything in wake of Megan Thee Stallion’s CBS interview. Holley claimed her client even refused to take watermarked copies of court documents “out of concern there might be some suggestion that he had something to do with leaking.”

“I’m certain that whatever exists that is out there won’t have my name on it or Mr. Peterson’s name on it,” Holley insisted.

Tory Lanez’s next court hearing will take place on July 28. His assault trial is tentatively scheduled to begin on September 14.

Beyoncé Among Sexual Targets Of Kevin Gates’ Lust On His Lewd Song “Super General”

Kevin Gates brazenly mentioned Beyoncé and Jay-Z, among others, on a new freestyle titled “Super General.”

The Atlantic Records artist detailed his sexual desires over Kodak Black’s “Super Gremlin” instrumental. Kevin Gates fantasized about Beyoncé, Nicki Minaj and Rubi Rose on the track.

“Rubi Rose, I can’t wait to have your feet facing my ceiling/With my tongue deep in yo ass while I kiss all on yo kitty/Put that dick deep in yo back and make you c## all on this missile/Put yo hands behind yo back and smack yo ass, I’m in yo kidneys/Ain’t no disrespect to Jigga, met through Nipsey, that’s my n####/Don’t know if they into swinging, Beyoncé need to let me hit her/Make her p### all on this dick, respectfully, her body shiver/I want Nicki, she need Kevin, she still playing around with Kenneth,” he rapped.

Beyoncé and Nicki Minaj haven’t reacted to the song, but Rubi Rose responded to Kevin Gates’ lustful raps via Twitter.

“Kevin gates freaky as hell lol,” she wrote.

The raunchy freestyle arrived just over a week before the release of Kevin Gates’ new album Khaza. His LP is scheduled to drop on June 17.

Rapper Raps About Robbing ATMs Out Of Town, Gets Arrested For Robbing ATMs Out Of Town

You guys aren’t going to believe this one.

A rapper from Houston raps about robbing ATMs on YouTube and is later arrested for robbing an ATM in Tennessee. You cannot make this up.

A Houston-based rapper makes the genius creative maneuver and decides he is going to rap about robbing ATMs out of state. He is now incarcerated for doing exactly what he rhymed about. You cannot make this up.

According to police in Nashville, Tennessee, Darius Dugas, 27, and number others were arrested after they checked out of a motel. 30-year old Ladesion Riley was among those arrested in Dickson, TN. They allegedly hit a lick, but it did not last long.

Riley is also a rapper.

Well, this guy decides he’s going to make a song called “Make It Home” and rap about robbing ATMs out of state. He goes into details about the crimes, including rapping about having thousands of dollars in his vehicle, praying to avoid a high-speed car chase with cops, and make it home safely. Well, he did all of the above except making it home. He made it to the BING.

Well, I’m sure the cops got a little chuckle out of it. We cannot say FTW and not cite this as out of pocket too.

Douglas Griffith, President of the Houston Police Officers’ Union, told FOX26, “If you’re going to rap about it, then turn around and be about it and get caught, that’s on you. You shouldn’t do stupid crap, and you definitely shouldn’t violate the law and talk about it.”

“Convicted felons doing their music videos with guns,” Griffith continued. “How dumb is that? That right there is enough for them to get charged again.”

Well, Mr. Officer has a point, like it or not.

This dude goes by the name of “Jug God” so he is basically a scammer. I really hate scammers. To me, they are the lowest of the low because they pray on trickery and avoid confrontation.

This is the only Juggin’ I know.
