Kai Cenat Hints At Retirement From Streaming, But His New Dreams Will Surprise

Kai Cenat is surging after the massive success of Mafiathon 3, and he just added another major achievement by dominating The Streamer Awards 2025. Already one of Twitch’s biggest stars, Kai was nominated in five categories: Best Collab, Best Marathon, Best Streamed Event, Best Just Chatting Streamer, and Streamer of the Year. He swept the first four, setting a new record for the most awards won by a single creator in the event’s history.

Fans hoped the momentum would carry him to Streamer of the Year, but that honor ultimately went to Darren “iShowSpeed” Watkins Jr. (now we know his real name), who repeated his 2024 victory and remained the betting favorite going into the show. Speed also secured Best IRL Streamer, mirroring his wins from last year.

Though Kai didn’t take home the top prize, his night was still historic—and deeply personal. During his Best Collab acceptance speech, he thanked the community for uplifting him and spoke candidly about the mental health struggles he faced after Mafiathon 3, which shattered multiple Twitch records. He urged other creators to protect their well-being while navigating the intense pressures of high-profile streaming.

Kai Cenat must be making serious money and streaming at an elite level, because he just announced he’s probably going to retire from it.

Now, let’s be real—he’s not walking away from the bag or the platform that got him here. But it’s clear the man has big dreams, and those dreams are pushing him toward new lanes. He’s got the platform, the community, and the youth behind him—that’s power. So shifting that into new skill sets or new platforms should be light work… if he’s really built for it.

Speed and Kai continue to inspire an entire generation—young folks and even some older ones, too.

That said, the night wasn’t without drama. One of the streamers, FanFan, cracked a terrible joke that got a lot of people talking. Check that out:

Meek Mill Praised Young Thug For Standing Firm Through Drake Beef

Meek Mill and Young Thug‘s relationship took center stage in Philly as Meek revealed how deeply Thug stood by him during the height of his feud with Drake.

The Philadelphia rapper revisited that turbulent era at his hometown concert Friday December 5 and explained that plenty of industry associates kept a safe distance amid the Drake beef. However, one Atlanta star refused to fall back. Meek described Young Thug’s support as personal, immediate and needed during one of the toughest chapters in his career.

“When I was beefing with Drake n*ggas was acting like they was scared to do a verse with me. This n***a pulled up to my house while I’m on house arrest two days straight [and] got with me. Pulled my confidence right back up. Locked right in.”

At the time Meek faced intense scrutiny inside and outside the music world. His house arrest created an isolating stretch that amplified professional and personal pressures. Features became noticeably harder to secure and relationships across the culture shifted. Meek said the energy surrounding him turned cold which magnified the weight of the beef as his career sat under a microscope.

The visit from Young Thug landed during a critical stretch when Meek’s momentum had slowed. The Atlanta star’s decision to show up in person said a lot and the Philly crowd loved it.

Meek Mill and Young Thug have built a small but memorable catalog together with records that dropped during some of the most pivotal moments in Meek’s career. Their earliest work surfaced in 2016 with “That Bag”, a street driven loosie that circulated heavily during the DC4 era. They followed up in 2017 with two of their strongest collaborations on Meek’s Wins & Losses album.

“We Ball” arrived first as an emotional tribute record that later became one of the standout moments of the project. Later on the same album they linked again for “Offended” with 21 Savage which brought a harder edge and showcased their ability to trade intensity without stepping on each other’s lanes. Beyond the official releases several leaks have hit the internet over the years including “Contagious” and “Mandem” which fans still circulate even without proper drops. Each track reflects a different phase of their bond with 2016 and 2017 marking the peak of their official collaborative run.

India Love Embarrasses Herself At Streamer Awards After Hijacking Winner’s Speech

India Love embarrassed herself at the 2023 Streamer Awards in Los Angeles on December 7 by storming the stage mid-ceremony and snatching the mic from FaZe Adapt during his Breakout Streamer of the Year acceptance speech.

The 29-year-old influencer barely acknowledged Adapt’s win before launching into her own impromptu speech.

“Rakai should’ve won Breakout Streamer of the Year and DDG. I don’t care what y’all say. Shout out Rakai!” she declared, leaving the crowd stunned.

Applause quickly turned to boos as the audience reacted in disbelief as she strutted offstage and was eventually thrown out of the Wiltern Theatre.

The moment instantly drew comparisons to Kanye West’s infamous interruption of Taylor Swift at the 2009 MTV VMAs, where he declared Beyoncé “had one of the best videos of all time.”

Much like that viral moment, Love’s interruption overshadowed the actual award recipient and sparked an online firestorm.

The evening also included drama from host Fanfan, who controversially compared Kai Cenat to Sean “Diddy” Combs.

The outburst adds to a long list of public controversies India Love has faced throughout her career, from relationship drama to online feuds.

Social media lit up with criticism.

India Love rose to prominence in the early 2010s on Tumblr before transitioning into modeling and reality TV and later becoming an OnlyFans model.

She starred in the BET series The Westbrooks, has been linked to several high-profile entertainers, and has been chasing fame ever since.

Just days before the Streamer Awards, India Love opened up about why she walked away from OnlyFans despite raking in $2 million.

In a December interview with boxer Ryan Garcia, she explained that leaked content had reached her family, leading to real-world consequences.

Antonio Brown Cites Stand Your Ground Law in Bid To Dismiss Attempted Murder Charge

Antonio Brown leaned on Florida’s controversial Stand Your Ground statute this week as he asked a Miami judge to toss his attempted murder case tied to a May 2025 shooting outside a boxing match.

Brown’s legal team filed a motion Monday claiming he acted in lawful self-defense when he allegedly fired a gun during a confrontation with Zul-Qarnain Kwame Nantambu.

His attorney, Mark Eiglarsh, argued that Brown “reasonably believed that the alleged victim intended to cause him serious harm.”

The incident unfolded outside an amateur boxing event in Miami, where prosecutors allege Brown punched Nantambu and then “shoots at him at point blank range” with assistance from two other men. Surveillance footage reportedly shows Brown holding a firearm near the victim.

Brown does not deny discharging the weapon. His defense insists the shot was not aimed to kill but rather to deter. The motion calls it a “warning shot” and claims Brown “reasonably feared” Nantambu was armed.

His attorneys also cited Nantambu’s criminal background, including a one-month jail stint in Dubai for an alleged jewelry theft.

Nantambu’s lawyer, Richard Cooper, dismissed the self-defense claim entirely. “By the grace of God, [Nantambu] was not killed,” he told the court in November. Cooper labeled Brown’s motion “a farcical reimagining” of the events.

The case has taken several legal turns since the May incident. After the shooting, Brown fled the country and remained in Dubai for six months. U.S. Marshals eventually extradited him in November. He pleaded not guilty on November 12 and was released on $25,000 bond, subject to house arrest with electronic monitoring.

Florida’s Stand Your Ground law, enacted in 2005, permits individuals to use deadly force if they believe they are in imminent danger and removes the duty to retreat.

The law drew national attention during the 2013 trial of George Zimmerman, who was acquitted in the killing of Trayvon Martin.

If convicted, Brown could face up to 30 years in prison due to a firearm enhancement added to the second-degree attempted murder charge. The former NFL wide receiver, a seven-time Pro Bowler, remains confined to his home as the court weighs whether to proceed with his case.

‘Stick with Amazon’: Man buys Milwaukee Fuel impact at Home Depot. Then he opens the box and discovers a different Milwaukee tool. Good thing he’s an eagle-eyed expert

A man purchased what he thought was a Milwaukee Tool Fuel impact wrench from Home Depot. Instead, he gets a lesson in retail return fraud, raising questions about who bears responsibility when customers become the victim of product swaps.

TikTok creator Naptown Tuner (@naptowntuner) had gone looking for a Milwaukee M18 Fuel 3/8″ stubby impact wrench.

An impact driver is a power tool primarily used to drive large fasteners, such as long screws and lag bolts, especially into dense materials. The Fuel is Milwaukee’s premium model, which comes with a more powerful engine.

“They had a Father’s Day deal that was really pretty good with the Milwaukee Tool batteries and the tool combo deals,” he said to open the story.

Man Buys Milwaukee Impact Wrench at Home Depot … Or Did He?

He explains that his local Home Depot, which he notes is on Post Road in Indianapolis, “had a battery deal where they were selling 2 of these 6.0 batteries with a charger, and you would get the tool free.”

He wanted a new impact, so he took them up on their deal. But after he bought the battery and impact, he went to his car and found a surprise.

“I looked at the impact, and it was this impact [a different model]. This impact was not the Fuel,” he said. “The Fuel is gonna say ‘Fuel’ on the back, and it’s gonna have the selecting range right there. The 3/8″ impact is a quarter drive, but the 3/8″ impact Fuel is stubby. This one was not stubby.”

He shows the box and the receipt. “The impact that I got was M18. See the big battery on it? Didn’t come with the battery, I just put this on,” he noted. “But this is not the stubby nose. It’s not the Fuel. It’s the regular, cheapest one they got.”

The Customer Attempts to Return the Impact Wrench

He explains that he immediately went back into the Home Depot. “[I] told them exactly what happened—that I opened the box and it was the wrong impact,” he continued. “They went and quickly looked, and they don’t have any more. They don’t have any more of these on the shelf. Told me that they’re gonna get back with me. I gave them my name and phone number.”

He then says he went back a couple of days later, then a couple of days after that. Right when he assumed he’s going to get a resolution, things somehow get worse.

“I get a call from the manager and she says that she talked to her loss prevention team, and that she can’t do anything for me, and I need to come pick up my impact that I got,” he said.

The manager essentially accused him of being the perpetrator of a tool swap. “They thought that I was the person [who] put the cheaper impact in the more expensive box, and now I’m trying to get an exchange or refund,” he said.

Viewers React to the Man’s Milwaukee Fuel Impact Plight

“Happened to me before,” said one commenter. “They just return the item for me. Never ask for a replacement. Just go to a different store and return it; just tell them first.”

Another person told the creator to just “stick with Amazon.” The online retailer is known for its flexible refunds policy.

“Happens all the time. Don’t mess with the store; call corporate, and give him all the information, including a receipt,” someone else said. “They will take care of it.”

Home Depot may eventually make it right, but this is a significant and ongoing issue. Return fraud does impact innocent customers. One customer was similarly accused and even temporarily put on a store “blacklist.”

In the third video, he expresses his disappointment with his treatment, but is mostly at a loss. He says he was basically told that he was out of luck and won’t be getting a refund. It seems like the onus is on consumers to double-check purchases before heading to the cashier.

Nicki Minaj Song Costs Naval Academy Leader His Job For Gyrating To “Starships”

Nicki Minaj became the unlikely centerpiece of a military scandal after a high-ranking Naval Academy official was fired for dancing to her chart-topping hit “Starships” while in uniform at a Maryland bar.

Rear Adm. Gilbert Clark was recently removed from his post as commandant of midshipmen following the circulation of an eight-second video showing him dancing in his summer whites at O’Brien’s, a popular Annapolis bar.

The clip, recorded September 28 after the Navy’s 21-13 win over Rice, shows Clark drinking and moving to Minaj’s 2012 party anthem in front of a mostly younger crowd.

The footage, which quickly spread across social media platforms including Reddit’s r/Navy, ignited debate over military decorum and professionalism. While wearing a uniform in a bar doesn’t break Navy rules, Clark’s behavior was deemed inappropriate for someone in his position.

Naval Academy Superintendent Rear Adm. Michael Borgschulte addressed the incident during a board of visitors meeting, stating Clark “was not hitting those standards” expected of someone leading 4,400 midshipmen.

The fallout arrives at a complicated moment for Minaj, who recently made headlines for her political pivot. In November, she appeared at the United Nations alongside Ambassador Mike Waltz, where she praised former

President Donald Trump’s stance on religious freedom called for “urgent action to defend Christians in Nigeria.” During her speech, she thanked Trump for his “leadership.”

Nicki Minaj’s remarks followed the Trump administration’s decision to redesignate Nigeria as a “country of particular concern” over religious persecution. Her public support of Trump drew backlash online, with critics questioning her sudden shift from pop provocateur to political advocate.

Now her music has inadvertently ended a military career. Clark, a 1998 Naval Academy graduate and former destroyer commander, had held the commandant position since June. Capt. Austin Jackson has stepped in as acting commandant while the academy manages other ongoing issues, including a recent on-campus shooting and a midshipman’s suicide.

Naval Academy alumnus and retired Navy Capt. William Marks weighed in on the controversy, referencing the standards set by naval hero John Paul Jones. “He said officers should have ‘refined manners’ and ‘the nicest sense of personal honor,’” Marks said.

As the video continues to circulate, the debate over Clark’s dismissal remains active among military circles and online observers.

Tyler, The Creator Stunned By Innovator Of The Decade Honor

Tyler, the Creator accepted the Innovator of the Decade award at Variety’s Hitmakers event in Hollywood on Saturday night, a moment that prompted the usually forward-leaning artist to pause and reflect on a 15-year run of creative evolution.

The Odd Future co-founder and genre-bending rapper, now 34, appeared genuinely surprised by the honor, sharing his thoughts in a speech that blended humility and gratitude.

“It made me think like, Yo, I don’t take the time out to look back at what I’ve done, for me, the folks around me, the last 15 years. For me, always looking forward — that’s where I sit comfortable at. But damn, it does feel good to hear the last 15 years you’ve been doing super-duper, awesome s###. I’m so grateful y’all have noticed things I’ve done,” Tyler, the Creator told the crowd.

The award was presented by Andre 3000, who commended Tyler for his relentless drive and ability to spark creativity in others.

“If you can inspire others to want to purely make something, you have done a great deed. You can see his excitement, momentum and passion — it’s infectious. He cares about what he’s doing and innovating himself,” Andre said.

The recognition comes at a high point in Tyler’s career. Within the last year, he dropped two albums, Chromakopia in 2024 and Don’t Tap the Glass in July 2025.

Both records earned nominations for the 2026 Grammy Awards. “Chromakopia” is up for Album of the Year, while “Don’t Tap the Glass” landed in the Best Alternative Music Album category.

Tyler’s creative reach continues to expand beyond music. He’s set to appear in the upcoming film Marty Supreme alongside Timothée Chalamet. The film’s director, Josh Safdie, praised Tyler’s all-encompassing approach to artistry.

“Tyler is a rare artist and creator in that everything he does is completely vertically integrated: There is little to no difference between a song and the larger picture, which is the album, or a bottle of cologne, or a T-shirt, or a music video he’s directing, or in this case, with me, a character that he’s developed,” Safdie said.

The 2026 Grammy Awards will take place in February.

SIGNS: Trump Drops Juneteenth And MLK Day, Adds His Birthday

Trump becomes the center of a new National Park Service plan that grants Americans free entry to national parks on his birthday in 2026 while removing Juneteenth and Martin Luther King Jr. Day from the agency’s annual no-fee schedule as outlined on the National Park Service website.

The change marks a sharp turn from previous years when both federal holidays were part of about 100 park sites’ free-admission calendar. For 2026 the agency is rolling out what it calls patriotic fee-free days including June 14 for Trump’s birthday plus free access during the July 4 weekend and during celebrations for the National Park Service’s 110th anniversary.

Juneteenth which became a federally recognized holiday in 2021 after decades of cultural observance across the country commemorates the final end of slavery in Confederate states following the Civil War. Martin Luther King Jr. Day remains a pillar of national service and remembrance but it will no longer trigger complimentary entry at national parks next year.

The Department of the Interior has not responded to requests for comment from USA TODAY and the update arrives amid a broader push inside the agency to scale back DEI-driven directives. The administration has also directed park units to examine retail spaces for items tied to diversity themes and shift toward what it labels America-first visitor policies.

A major piece of that shift takes effect Jan. 1 when international travelers without an annual pass will be charged an added 100 dollars per person at the 11 most visited national parks in the country. Beginning next year free-entry days will apply only to U.S. citizens and residents.

“These policies ensure that U.S. taxpayers, who already support the National Park System, continue to enjoy affordable access, while international visitors contribute their fair share to maintaining and improving our parks for future generations,” Interior Secretary Doug Burgum said in a news release.

For travelers the announcement signals a major recalibration of how national parks will handle cost access and holiday recognition heading into 2026 and beyond. As the agency leans into patriotic themes and tightens policies for foreign visitors the new framework sets up a different kind of park year one shaped by cultural debate economic recalculation and federal direction all converging under the banner of public lands.

‘I’m a bit speechless to be honest’: Nail tech threatens to chop off nails after woman refuses to pay. The customer’s response shocks her

An Australian nail tech catches on camera the moment a customer decides she doesn’t want to pay for the service. The exchange rate is confusing viewers across the globe.

TikTok creator Grace (@glazenailstudio_) is the operator of Glaze Nail Studio, which is based in Australia’s Gold Coast.

She recently started filming her sessions and that led to her catching this incident—and her reaction to it—in real time. “You’re going to have to pay, otherwise I’m going to have to chop them off,” Grace says to the woman as the video starts.

Nail Tech Gives Ultimatum to Customer Who Refuses to Pay

In the on-screen text, Grace makes it clear that this isn’t satire. “My client didn’t want to pay for her nails,” the text reads. “I wish this was a skit.”

The video then cuts back to the beginning of the appointment, which started out normally. Grace says this is a customer she’s seen in the past. But things take a turn after Grace finishes up the work and asks the customer how she’d like to pay. The customer asks, “What do you mean?”

Grace explains that the customer paid a 50% booking fee to reserve the appointment. Now that the service is complete, the customer is responsible for paying the other half. In this case, the total amount due is $100. So the customer still owes $50.

Clearly, paying another $50 isn’t in the woman’s plans. “Girl, you’ve come to me a couple of times now,” Grace says. The woman responds, “They’re good, but they’re not, like, perfect. For $100.”

The customer asks if there’s any way they can just call it even at the $50 deposit, and Grace refuses. That’s when she tells the woman that she can pay or get the nails cut off. Instead of backtracking and agreeing to pay, the woman says, “Just take them off. They’re not that good.”

Viewers Struggle with Foreign Currency Exchange Rates

In the comments section, some viewers said they are inclined to take the customer’s side on this one. “Why do lash and nail techs charge so much as though they are on doctor wages?” asked one person.

“The amount of people that seem to be struggling with the fact that British pounds, United States dollars, and Australian dollars are not all worth the same amount is staggering,” said a second person.

A third person said, “Guys, 100 Australian dollars is £48! That’s pretty standard, if not a little cheap.”

An Australian dollar is equivalent to $.66, which means that the full service cost a little under $66.50. The customer already paid 50% as a deposit, so she chose to get her nails chopped off over approximately $33.25. A full set of acrylic nails here in the U.S. will generally run you about $46, but that price can go up if the nail design is particularly detailed.

Kim Kardashian Flashes Plump Bottom & Ample Bosom To Set Off Holiday Season

Kim Kardashian turned heads and timelines on December 5 with a striking white minidress that doubled as a visual centerpiece for her expanding “Kimsmas” holiday campaign. The SKIMS founder shared a series of Instagram photos showing off the festive look, which fused winter whimsy with her signature high-glam aesthetic.

The standout outfit featured a plunging neckline and oversized satin bows at the shoulders and chest, while a faux fur hem added a playful seasonal twist. Kardashian paired the dress with sheer lace tights, white heels trimmed with fur and a dramatic satin headband topped with a large bow.

She captioned the post “Merry Kimsmas” with a Christmas tree and gift emoji, continuing the branding push that’s become a fixture of her December content strategy.

This latest Instagram drop followed her debut “Kimsmas Live!” TikTok livestream on December 3: a 45-minute interactive shopping event showcasing SKIMS’ holiday collection. The broadcast marked the brand’s first foray into live social commerce.

Kardashian also launched her second SKIMS x The North Face collaboration this week, featuring winter-ready puffer jackets and technical outerwear alongside her signature shapewear.

Beyond clothing, Kardashian gave followers a glimpse into her home’s elaborate Christmas setup, which she described as “insane” in an Instagram Story. The decor featured an indoor forest theme, further cementing her all-in approach to holiday branding.

She’s also been gifting SKIMS items to friends and family as part of her seasonal marketing rollout, leveraging her personal brand to drive engagement and sales.

The timing of the minidress reveal aligns with SKIMS’ holiday sales push, as the company ramps up its seasonal offerings and celebrity tie-ins leading into the final stretch of 2025.

Bianca Censori Takes Off Spandex Shorts & Puts Them On Her Face During Traffic Stop

Bianca Censori turned a Beverly Hills doctor’s visit into a spectacle after she peeled off her spandex shorts and used them to block paparazzi cameras as a parking officer issued her a citation.

The Australian designer and wife of Kanye West was photographed outside a medical building while trying to conceal her identity with the shorts, which were initially part of her outfit, after noticing photographers nearby.

The move left her in a brown off-the-shoulder thong bodysuit, sheer tights and black winter boots as she stood next to her car while the ticket was processed.

The parking enforcement officer snapped a photo of her license plate before placing the citation on the vehicle. Censori, 30, kept her face covered with the makeshift mask while remaining close to the scene.

The incident adds to a string of eye-catching public appearances by Censori, whose wardrobe choices have increasingly drawn headlines. In November, she was seen at Melbourne Airport in a black thong bodysuit with tights and heels, followed days later by a look featuring gold tights and high-waisted underwear.

During her trip to Australia last month, she stepped out in a sheer pink bodystocking and a satin purple bra, continuing her streak of bold fashion statements.

According to a report from the US Sun_,_ Censori’s public image may be part of a calculated plan. One insider claimed West paid her $100,000 to wear a transparent dress to the Grammys in February. That deal reportedly extended to other appearances, including a candy-themed lingerie ensemble in June.

Censori married the rapper behind “Flashing Lights” in a private ceremony in December 2022.

Cassidy vs. Eazy the Block Captain Battle Ends in Chaos

Imagine standing for hours, waiting. You just know that at the end of this rainbow is an epic rap battle that’s been hyped for weeks. The combatants have trashed each other relentlessly, back and forth across social media. The buildup is insane — you’re convinced you’re about to witness history. And then, right when the moment finally comes, it all falls apart right in front of your face after all that waiting… and all that money spent.

Well, that’s exactly what happened. Cassidy and Eazy the Block Captain attempted to have their long-anticipated battle, but the tension between them was so thick you could cut it with a knife. They couldn’t even make it past Round 2. Standing inches from each other, neither one could control themselves enough to actually rap. The intensity boiled over, and the whole thing collapsed — battle abandoned, night ruined.

I don’t know if people got their money back or if the rappers still got paid for their time and energy, but they did not get the job done. It looked like there were a thousand people on stage and I didn’t see a lick of security anywhere. Multiple camera angles are circulating, and from what I’ve seen, it looks like pure chaos. Honestly, I’m glad I didn’t go — and I was seriously considering it. Check out some of the footage below to see the madness that went down on December 6, 2025.

And just to be clear, I expected way more professionalism from these two bona fide battle champs and supposed torch-carriers of the culture. For them to melt down like this? They’re absolutely going to have to rethink how they approach these events. This is not a good look for the “sport” of battle rap.

Diddy’s Mom Says He Never Slapped Her, Trashes 50 Cent’s “Fake” Netflix Doc

Diddy is under fire in a new Netflix documentary, but it’s his mother who’s pushing back hard against what she calls a smear campaign involving 50 Cent, false abuse claims and a decades-old tragedy.

Janice Combs, the 83-year-old mother of the embattled Hip-Hop mogul, issued a sharp rebuke of Sean Combs: The Reckoning, which premiered on December 2 on Netflix.

In a statement to Deadline, she said the film contains “inaccuracies regarding my son Sean’s upbringing and family life” and accused the producers of trying “to mislead viewers and further harm our reputation.”

The documentary, which explores allegations against Diddy, including sex trafficking and racketeering, features an interview with Kirk Burrows, an early associate of Diddy, who claims the Bad Boy Records founder once slapped his own mother during a conversation following the 1991 City College stampede that left nine people dead.

Janice called that claim “inaccurate and patently false.”

“The allegations stated by Mr. Kirk Burrows that my son slapped me while we were conversing after the tragic City College events on December 28, 1991, are inaccurate and patently false,” she said. “That was a very sad day for all of us.”

She also took aim at the documentary’s executive producer, 50 Cent, accusing him of using Burrows and the tragedy to push a personal agenda.

“For him to use this tragedy and incorporate fake narratives to further his prior failed and current attempt to gain what was never his, Bad Boy Records, is wrong, outrageous and past offensive,” she stated.

Diddy’s legal team sent a cease-and-desist letter to Netflix on December 1, calling the series a “hit piece” and labeling Jackson’s involvement as “corporate retaliation.”

Janice Combs, who reportedly attended nearly every day of her son’s two-month trial in Manhattan this summer, said the documentary’s tone and content were designed to provoke rather than inform.

She accused the streaming giant of going “salacious to promote the series.”

Diddy is currently incarcerated at Fort Dix in New Jersey, where he is serving a 50-month prison sentence after being convicted of two counts of transporting two male prostitutes across state lines.

Missy Elliott Reveals Her Greatest Hit Almost Never Happened Because Timbaland Was Ready To Quit

Missy Elliott nearly scrapped her now-iconic anthem “Get Ur Freak On” after producer Timbaland was too drained to keep working in the studio, the Hip-Hop pioneer revealed in a new interview.

In a conversation with Rolling Stone, Missy Elliott explained the 2001 hit almost didn’t make it onto her third album, Miss E… So Addictive because Timbaland was ready to call it quits.

“He just started hitting anything,” Missy Elliott said. “He was bamming on the keyboard ’cause he was ready to go.”

But Elliott pushed back, convinced the project needed one last track. That’s when magic struck.

“And he hit something and I was like, ‘That’s it right there.’ And he was like, ‘What? What you talking about?’ I just went in the booth and did the record,” she said.

As she laid down the lyrics, Elliott envisioned the choreography that would eventually define the song’s visual identity.

“I’ve spent so much time around dancers,” she said. “From my first time on tour, I had 22 dancers… When I’m doing that record, I’m thinking of my dancers. I could just see them moving to it.”

The gamble paid off. In October, Rolling Stone named “Get Ur Freak On” the best song of the 21st century so far, cementing its place in music history.

Elliott, whose last release was the 2019 EP Iconology, also hinted that more music is on the horizon.

“I have something in the works,” she said. “It’s just different. It’s me being experimental again… I got some stuff coming. Some fire.”

“Get Ur Freak On” was released in 2001 and remains one of Elliott’s most celebrated tracks.

Khaby Lame Strikes Deal With U.N. After Being Kicked Out Of The U.S. By Donald Trump

Khaby Lame secured a major UN Tourism ambassador position in November, just months after Donald Trump’s immigration enforcement forced him out of America in a move that cost the U.S. access to the world’s most powerful social media creator.

The 25-year-old TikTok star, who has 162 million followers and earned $20 million in 2024 without speaking a damn word, was detained by ICE in Las Vegas on June 6 after allegedly overstaying his visa.

Conservative influencer Bo Loudon claimed credit for the deportation, stating he “personally took action to have him deported” after discovering Lame was “an illegal who overstayed an invalid VISA.”

Khaby Lame accepted voluntary departure rather than face formal deportation proceedings, leaving America behind just as his earning power peaked.

Reports show he commands between $500,000 and $850,000 per sponsored post, with some campaigns paying over $1 million.

The UN Tourism appointment, announced during the organization’s General Assembly in Riyadh, puts Lame in a position to promote global travel destinations while America loses access to his massive audience.

His role focuses on youth engagement, sustainable tourism practices, and showcasing “hidden gem” destinations worldwide.

“Khaby Lame has brought joy to many millions of people, in every corner of the world, and from every walk of life,” UN Tourism Secretary-General Zurab Pololikashvili said in the announcement. “His openness and readiness to connect with people across borders and languages represents what tourism is all about.”

The timing highlights the consequences of America’s immigration policy.

While Trump’s administration revoked Lame’s visa for visa violations, international organizations immediately recognized his value. UNICEF named him a Goodwill Ambassador in February 2025, giving him a platform to influence global audiences that American brands can no longer easily reach.

Lame rose from factory worker to social media king during COVID-19 after losing his job in Italy. His wordless reaction videos became the most-watched content on TikTok, building a following that spans every continent and demographic.

The Senegal-born creator now works with two major UN agencies, while American companies lost direct access to his influence. His UN Tourism role will showcase international destinations to his massive following, potentially directing tourism dollars away from U.S. destinations.

Trump’s immigration crackdown reached peak irony when it targeted the world’s most successful content creator, someone who built his empire on American social media platforms but was forced to take his influence elsewhere.

The move represents a broader pattern of America losing global cultural ambassadors to strict immigration enforcement.

Lame’s departure came during his peak earning period, when TikTok reportedly paid him $20 million in 2024 alone. His content creation empire, built without speaking any language, transcended cultural barriers that traditional American entertainment often struggles to cross.

The UN appointments give Lame official platforms to influence global travel patterns, youth engagement, and cultural exchange, roles that could have benefited American tourism and cultural diplomacy if immigration policies had been different.

LeBron James Backing Upcoming Nipsey Hussle Docuseries With Rare Footage

Nipsey Hussle will be the focus of a long-awaited docuseries expected to debut in 2026, as director One9 wraps post-production on a project built from decades of rare footage and personal archives.

One9 confirmed the multi-part series is nearly complete and awaiting distribution, telling Variety on December 5 that the collection includes never-before-seen material dating back to Hussle’s childhood.

“His father videotaped everything,” One9 said, describing the trove of recordings that follow the late rapper from his first studio session at age 12 to his rise as a Grammy-winning artist and entrepreneur.

The series, which will run between five and seven episodes, features narration from Hussle’s brother Blacc Sam and posthumous voiceovers from the rapper himself. The production also includes unreleased music and excerpts from an audiobook Hussle recorded before his death in March 2019.

Produced by Marathon Films, the company Hussle co-founded, the docuseries is backed by LeBron James and Maverick Carter’s SpringHill Entertainment.

The project aims to offer a complete picture of Hussle’s life—including his early ties to the Rollin 60s Neighborhood Crips, his independent music career and his community development efforts in South Los Angeles.

One9, who previously directed Nas: Time Is Illmatic and recently completed Allen Iv3rson for Prime Video, said he intends to approach Hussle’s story with the same unfiltered lens. “We’re not sanitizing anything,” he said, noting that the series will explore both triumphs and struggles.

Interviews include appearances from Hip-Hop heavyweights like Jay-Z and Kendrick Lamar, as well as close friends from Hussle’s early days in Crenshaw.

The director said the goal is to present Hussle’s whole journey—from burning CDs on his home computer to launching real estate projects in his neighborhood.

Nipsey Hussle was shot and killed at age 33 outside his Marathon Clothing store in March 2019. His death left a lasting impact on South Los Angeles, where murals in his honor still line the streets.

The docuseries is currently seeking a distribution partner, with a tentative release planned for sometime in 2026.

Q Parker Keeps 112 Reunion Hope Alive, Pushes Forward Solo

Q Parker is watching the buzz around 112’s legacy reach a fresh peak, but he’s not letting nostalgia stop his own momentum.

After Slim and Mike of 112 appeared on Tamron Hall, social media chatter erupted about “incomplete groups” and fans demanding a full reunion. The Atlanta native stated clearly he’s open to making history again. But he’s also done waiting on phone calls that never come.

Parker told AllHipHop that he wants nothing more than for the original 112 lineup to reunite for the group’s 30-year anniversary, a moment he knows holds both emotional and financial weight for everyone involved. Still, he says he’s the only one reaching out.

“The side of this coin that I sit on have reached out on multiple accounts personally and through third parties on my behalf,” Parker said. “Haven’t gotten a response.”

He emphasized he hasn’t spoken to Slim or Mike—who currently represent 112 on tour—in “a while,” but the desire remains. “I remain hopeful. I would love more than the fans would love for us to be able to celebrate together.”

That hope hasn’t paused his career. Parker has leaned heavily into his new solo era, which he describes as “romance dealing,” a nod to the hustler in him.

“I have a singular journey at this moment,” he said. “I would love to get some of the support from the fans in the same regard as how they want to see the reunion. I don’t think it’s an either or. It can be an and. There can be a 112 reunion and you can still support Q Parker too.”

He acknowledges the public’s hunger for nostalgia, because 112’s golden era touched an entire generation. But Q also warned that getting stuck in the past isn’t an option.

“I love that we fight for nostalgia, but I just think we can’t stay there. We have to still allow evolution,” he said. “I just don’t want to be one of those guys that is saying when I’m older, I wish I would have.”

Parker compared the ideal scenario to how New Edition balances group success with individual ventures, calling it a roadmap he believes 112 could follow if communication ever reopens.

Until then, he says he’s fully committed to his latest project while keeping a small emotional space reserved in case the door cracks open again.

“If there ever is an opportunity for a reconcile and a reunion of sorts, I’m always keeping myself in position for that,” he said. “But until then, I have to move in the direction that I am in.”

112’s first album dropped on Sean “Diddy” Combs’ Bad Boy Records, nearly 30 years ago. The self-titled opus was released on August 27, 1996, on Bad Boy Records, featuring hit singles like “Only You” (with The Notorious B.I.G. & Mase) and “Cupid.”

Smokey Robinson’s Lawyer Says Motown Legend Victim Of “Vile” Conspiracy

Smokey Robinson gained a crucial courtroom advantage Friday when a Los Angeles judge ruled that his sexual assault accusers must turn over their cell phones within 10 days.

The news comes after Robinson’s lawyers made allegations that they were withholding evidence and ignoring legal requests.

“We are pleased with the Court’s ruling. Plaintiffs’ motives have been clear all along. File a vile and salacious complaint, and then bring these plaintiffs out a handful at a time so it looks like there are new and independent allegations, when the truth is that these people all worked together to contrive this lawsuit,” Smokey Robinson’s lawyer, Christopher Frost, told TMZ.

The ruling marks the first major development in a lawsuit that has grown steadily since May 2025, when four women accused the 85-year-old Motown singer of rape, sexual battery and false imprisonment while working in his home as housekeepers.

Two more individuals joined the case in November, including a male ex-employee who previously worked as Robinson’s car detailer.

According to court filings obtained by TMZ, Robinson’s legal team argued the plaintiffs had failed to comply with discovery demands, particularly regarding phone records and potential digital evidence.

The judge approved the motion filed on Wednesday, setting a 10-day deadline for the accusers to hand over their devices for forensic review.

Robinson has firmly denied all allegations. When approached at Los Angeles International Airport in September, he said the accusations were “BS.”

His attorney has described the claims as “vile” and “false,” and accused the plaintiffs of attempting to extort money from the legendary performer.

The legal conflict escalated after Robinson filed a $500 million defamation lawsuit against the original four accusers. Prosecutors also disclosed that Robinson had previously been investigated for a separate sexual assault claim in 2015, though no charges were filed.

Despite the legal turmoil, Robinson has maintained an active tour schedule.

He is slated to perform through the end of 2025, with shows booked at venues including the Guild Theatre in Menlo Park and Gila River Hotels & Casinos. He also recently announced a new album titled What The World Needs Now.

The court’s order to surrender the phones is the first major legal victory for Robinson since the lawsuit began. His legal team is expected to start examining the devices next week.

Angry Customer’s Haircut Meltdown Ends In Arrest & Charges In Miami

Darious Davis pulled a gun on his longtime barber and assaulted him inside a Miami barbershop after complaining about his hairline, a violent outburst caught on camera that has since gone viral and raised serious questions about public safety and employment screening.

The Miami-Dade Transit employee, 48, allegedly walked out mid-cut from Square Cutz in Perrine on November 25, then returned minutes later with a firearm and attacked shop owner Samuel Wilson while two children were present.

Wilson, who had been cutting Davis’s hair for about a year without issue, told reporters that Davis “slapped me in the head with it, choked me out.” The entire confrontation was captured by surveillance footage and quickly circulated across Hip-Hop social media, drawing widespread attention and outrage.

Davis now faces four felony charges: aggravated battery with a deadly weapon, aggravated assault with a firearm, use of a firearm during the commission of a felony and improper exhibition of a firearm.

Court documents show Davis has a lengthy criminal history. He was convicted of cocaine possession in 1993, armed robbery in both 1993 and 1998, and burglary with assault in 1998. He served 17 years in prison between 1999 and 2017.

The incident has also led to scrutiny of Miami-Dade County’s hiring practices. Deputies confirmed Davis was wearing his county-issued uniform during the attack. He was arrested again on November 28 during a traffic stop and charged with possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

Wilson, who has operated his shop for five years, said he never imagined a haircut would escalate into violence. “I did not think he was going to come around here and come back,” Wilson said. “I thought we might have fisticuffs but I didn’t think he was going to come back with a firearm.”

Despite posting a $35,000 bond, Davis remains under house arrest and is prohibited from contacting Wilson or returning to Square Cutz.

The video, which spread across Hip-Hop platforms including AllHipHop, sparked a flood of reactions from community members stunned by the aggressive behavior—especially in front of children.

Wilson says he’s still committed to keeping his shop open and safe. “This is a safe place for anybody,” he said. “I don’t hold no grudges. I can’t say I can forgive him. But I hope the best for you, homie.”

Tupac, Biggie, Snoop & Nate Dogg All Featured On Erick Sermon’s “Dynamic Duos”

Erick Sermon just delivered one of the most ambitious Hip-Hop projects of the decade. The legendary EPMD producer has officially released Dynamic Duos, a multi-volume event that links some of rap’s most iconic pairings — including rare collaborations featuring Tupac and Biggie, plus new joints with Snoop Dogg & Nate Dogg, Redman & Method Man, Mobb Deep, Dogg Pound, Cypress Hill, M.O.P., EPMD and more.

Sermon told AllHipHop the idea dates back to the pandemic.

“Everybody stopped working,” he said. “I didn’t understand why. So I said I’m doing something called Dynamic Duos. I’m bringing together every rap duo I can — and I’m producing all of it.”

He hit up every legendary pair he could contact. “Some didn’t respond, but a lot of them said, ‘Yeah, I’m down with the concept,’” he said. “Some of them I never produced before. That’s what made it exciting.”

The project arrives right as Hip-Hop’s OG renaissance is in full swing. “Clipse opened the portal,” Sermon said. “Nas did it with King’s Disease, but Clipse had the whole world paying attention. The timing lined up perfectly.”

But Sermon also used the moment to warn the culture about the short shelf life of today’s releases. “Music ain’t transcending,” he said. “We’re in a scroll era. Nobody’s engaging. That’s why the icons still got the young dudes on the bench.”

He even broke down the brutal math behind streaming:

“A hundred thousand streams gets you $200,” Sermon said. “They just gave us a penny per stream, but only a few artists can hit a million. You’re not streaming big numbers anymore. It’s over.”

His solution? Go directly to the people. “If you already have a name, you already won,” he said. “Your core audience will feed you. Stop chasing a system that wasn’t built for you.”

Despite the industry frustrations, Sermon is energized — and already prepping volumes two and three. “This first clip is loaded,” he said. “But I got more. Wayne, Conway, Game — this thing is going to keep going.”

Dynamic Duos is available now across streaming platforms.
